Can we leave ugly spreadsheets behind?
It's 2024, there's no more excuses for spreadsheets that make the eyes water. This especially includes messy, hard-to-read, clutters of data (coworkers read up!). Is some of this over-the-top? No.
Tumblr media
Here's some styling tips for your spreadsheets!
1. Use Custom Colors (Color Palette)
I like to start my spreadsheets off by choosing a color theme to get an overall feel for it, and a color palette is a great way. Take advantage of custom colors, and not just the ones provided for you (they are bland and basic). Custom colors make a beautiful spreadsheet.
2. Text Alignment and Merging
Aligning your text appropriately adds a professional touch and overall a cleaner feeling to your spreadsheet design. Don’t forget you can horizontally (left, center right) and vertically (bottom, center, top) align! Merge cells when needed!
3. Vertical and Rotate Text
An unknown but useful tool. You have the option to rotate text and make it vertical. This opens up many possibilities for your spreadsheet design!
4. Text Fonts (Additional Fonts)
Just like the colors, spreadsheets give limited font options. However, you can add additional fonts very easily.
Take advantage of bolding and italics, which adds depth to our design. For fonts, many people like to use a serif and a sans-serif font to complement each other, but I am not an expert in font design!
5. Adding Borders
Adding borders is an easy thing to add to make your spreadsheet more readable. You have unlimited options, you can add borders to any edge of a cell, customizing the color and line type. Keep in mind, if you select multiple cells it will act like just one cell when you add borders.
6. Alternating Colors
Alternating colors is a great feature that will automatically make each row an alternating color as you create rows. This makes large amounts of data much easier to follow and read!
7. Emojis and Images
Emojis are the easiest way to spice up your spreadsheets with pictures. The best part? It’s a built-in feature for most spreadsheet software.
See? Emojis aren’t just for fun facial reactions. They add a nice and simple touch. They can be used as icons, visual aids, and much more. Furthermore, you can add your custom images.
8. Freeze Rows/Columns and Adjust Cell Sizes
Freezing the header will make it stay on top as you scroll. This can be done by dragging down the thick gray bars on the top left corner. You can also do this with columns.
9. Add Checkboxes and Dropdowns
Both great ways to style your spreadsheet!
10. Final Touches
I like to remove unused columns and rows, this makes the workspace smaller and cleaner.
Additionally, group and hide columns to keep things clean. Also, make sure to take advantage of the spell check feature.
Here's a run through of me taking a basic spreadsheet and making it beautiful! Good luck! Visual person? Watch this short YouTube playlist I made.

I made a dumb tutorial on this thing so yall can too. Its complete on my FB, so check it out.
Heres also the link to my OC Masterlist. Still a wip
I'll try to post the tut here too so WARNING long post below the cut!
Tutorial
Tumblr media Tumblr media
REMINDER: you edit EVERYTHING within the masterfile. The main (switched) table is only for the formula. It is why dedicating a row for each oc would be preferred
If you're editing non-interchangable datas (the height, relationship, orientation etc) you can just edit the main table directly
Tumblr media
EDIT: You can also just put 1:1 without the letters.
Technically you CAN make the dropdown manually. But you'll also need to add the AU names manually when you add a new AU
Using 'from a range' is much more convenient. (oh and you only need to do this once. no need to reference the dropdown using every masterfile.)
Then back to the main tables:
Tumblr media
Formulas can be different depending on where you put your cells at.
You don't have to follow mine, BUT if you indeed copy-paste the formula from mine, make sure that your stuffs are in the same placement.
Tumblr media
oh yah and obviously you can name your masterfile as anything. I just name it like that in case i wanted to make new sheets.
always match the whole thing if you decided to change the names, placement, etc!
Hope this helps ✨️
Tumblr media
maybe the best oc repository is gsheets after all...

How to import/update data from Google Sheets to WordPress?
Importing data from Google Sheets to WordPress becomes seamless with the utilization of the Importer plugin. This plugin streamlines the process, allowing you to transfer data and content effortlessly. Once you provide the link, WP Ultimate CSV Importer will automatically fetch the data added in Google Sheets and import it into WordPress based on mapping settings. Let’s see how we can import first.
Set Up Your Google Sheets Document
Initially, create a Google Sheets document. If you don’t already have one, create a Google Sheets document and input your data. This can be content, product listings, user information, or any data you want to manage on your WordPress site.
Ensure that your data is organized in rows and columns. Each row typically represents an individual item, while columns represent attributes like titles, descriptions, categories, and more.
Share the Google Sheets document with your team members or collaborators so they can work on it simultaneously.
Configure Import Settings
Access the Ultimate CSV Importer plugin in your WordPress dashboard. There visit the upload from the URL tab present inside the import/update menu and paste the copied generated CSV link.
Tumblr media
To initiate the import process, you can import new items or update existing posts/pages/custom posts/Woo-Products, using title, ID, slug, and  SKU. You can choose an existing item from the options shown below to set up a schedule:
Tumblr media
Ensure to choose the right post type.
Mapping Data
Mapping data fields contributes a lot to successful import. So carefully choose and map all the header fields in your Google Sheets to the corresponding fields in WordPress. This step ensures that your data is imported correctly. Some fields are mapped automatically or else you need to drag and map or use the dropdown and map. At the end of the page, ensure that you save the mapping templates with a name, as they are crucial for successful scheduled import or update.
Handling Images
The handling of images during the import process involves several options:
Select the first option when utilizing existing images and new ones.
Enable the second radio button if there is a need to overwrite existing images with new images.
When introducing new image URLs from external sources, activate the third radio button.
You can configure the image sizes and map the images’ SEO fields here.
Tumblr media
Scheduling the Process
WP Ultimate CSV Importer offers a scheduling feature that allows you to schedule imports and updates according to your preferred UTC time zone. This convenient scheduling process is easy to set up:
In the final stage of your import, simply choose “Do you want to Schedule this import?”
Next, provide the Date, Frequency(choose how often you want the updates to occur, whether it’s daily, weekly, or at custom intervals), UTC Time, and Time Zone that aligns with your requirements.
Confirm your settings by clicking the “Schedule” button.
Once scheduled, your import will run automatically at the designated date and time, saving you time and effort.
Please refer to the image below for a visual guide and step-by-step instructions.
After scheduling, monitor the import runs through the “Manager” section’s >> “Scheduled Imports” page. This feature cancels out the need for repeated rescheduling when performing new imports or updates. That is, you can add new records conveniently row by row in Google Sheets, while already imported documents can be modified directly in the sheets. This approach ensures the automatic import of new data and seamless updating of existing content from Google Sheets to the WordPress system.

Coming Home (But Not to You) + Someplace New Physical Bind
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i've done a few rebinds of paperbacks to hardcovers but this is my first ever full bind :')
i really love this universe written by @lesbianherald and i'm so delighted to have a forever copy! i keep coming back to it, so having it on paper will make it much easier to tab out my favourite parts when i need them.
there's definitely mistakes, especially with the cover (pls don't ask about the back cover it's none of my business). i hit a point where i chose done over good because otherwise this would have taken me 6 months. there is no prize to perfection etc.
Coming Home clocks in at around 360 pages and Someplace New is about 60. i included the playlists for both since i'm a sucker for 'bonus content'. in paper, that means 107 sheets of a4 split into 14 signatures of 7-8 pages.
some retrospectives and the guides i followed below:
what went well:
the actual process of folding signatures and sewing the binding was my favourite part. basically all the work that didn't involve fighting technology lmao
i struggled sourcing a4 short grain but i'm really happy i used it! it's such a floppy, soft book and it sits open on it's own
i hated the cover design in canva but on the book it looks sick as hell. very trust the process kind of deal
what didn't go well:
i'll never learn my lesson about text and heat transfer vinyl. this is where i almost lost my mind
speaking of htv, i really screwed up every step of the case creation. my boards are a little short, i wasted a load of book cloth, and i used to much glue for the endpapers that it seeped through a little. not enough to do major damage to the textblock, but the first and last 20 pages are a little wavy
Resources:
How To Typeset in Google Docs - i followed about 3 different tutorials for doing it in word before finding this video. very easy to follow and she shows how to impose to signatures afterwards

“HOLD ME, KISS ME”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i. PAIRING — Leon Kennedy x GN!Reader
ii. SYNOPSIS— Aware that your boyfriend hasn’t been granted the privilege of a homemade meal in ages, you decided to pull out your family’s recipe book and stir something up for him. He showed his appreciation in more ways than one, how could he not reward his little chef after all your time tinkering in the kitchen?
iii. CONTENT WARNINGS— Fluff to eventual smut (MDNI) Leon’s a bit awkward with his feelings, he scarfs down every last crumb on his plate, oral sex, fingering, creampie (reader receives all), mentions of aftercare, Leon calls reader “baby” and “sweetheart.” I left the contents of the meal as ambiguous, because I wanted it to depend on the reader’s own upbringing and culture. Written with RE4 Leon in mind.
iv. WORD COUNT— 4.6K
Tumblr media
01— PREPARATION
Leon couldn’t remember the last time he was given the simple joy of eating a homemade meal. No, he grew up accustomed to enjoying the lunch trays that all schools gave out. He’d block out the noises of his peers complaining about the blandness of the food, because that food was the standard for him. The flavor of the dishes his orphanage provided is committed in his memory, a hint of nostalgia when he looks back on it.
And of course, the same followed into his academy and career. He’d eat institutional meals during his academy days, too wrapped up in his extensive training to pick up on cooking skills himself. MRE’s were obviously his go to during his government training period, and that followed into the missions he was deployed on.
To sum it up, the last homemade meal he probably had was when his parents were alive. He would never complain about it, far too grateful of a person to even see it as an issue—he would take what was provided, with an appreciative mindset.
You’re a sweetheart though, his sweetheart. And after learning the extent of his past, god you wished you had met him sooner. Because for as long as you’ve dated him, you can’t remember a single time where Leon mentioned an individual that was even remotely significant to him prior to his government days. Well—aside from a girlfriend who hastily broke up with him, and you just presumed she hadn’t been the best considering how little Leon had to say about her. Couldn’t even remember her face or voice anymore, he claimed. And you believed him, rightfully so. Leon looked at you as if you were more fascinating than the wonders of space, with no trace of feelings for any prior people he had been in a relationship with. You were the star on top of the Christmas tree for him.
Lounging lazily on your couch, a sleepy grunt brought your attention to Leon—who had come over to your house for a movie night. But he always ended up napping or resting his eyes for a good half an hour, feeling safe only in your presence and allowing his guard to lower. He was snuggled against you, head against your chest and an arm around your midsection.
You always let him sleep a little, it could do some good against those growing eye bags of his. He always liked it—resting against you, feeling safe with you by his side and the comforting golden like hue the lamp on your tableside emitted. The only time he could allow his mind to rest was with you, it was reasonable.
Your nose was stuck between the pages of your family’s old recipe book. The pages were old—wrinkled and a far cry from the original brightness of the white sheet of paper it once was. You wanted to cook something for him. But you didn’t want it to be something off of a google website or youtube tutorial. You wanted something authentic to your upbringing, that way it would be more meaningful and you wouldn’t be going into it completely blind.
Yeah, of course Leon has eaten at your house before. But…it’s always been microwaveable food or something that could be made within five minutes, like eggs— not anything that you actually put your entire heart into. He was big on dinner dates at restaurants, so the topic of cooking was never really brought up. You wanted to make him an actual meal. One with sides and maybe a small dessert, you’d seen the way Leon eats—you’d definitely need to make enough for seconds. With that physique and job of his, god knows he needs his energy.
“Mm,” a soft mumble from Leon, who was beginning to stir awake after a short but very much needed nap, his light colored eyelashes were beginning to flutter.
You laughed quietly, threading your fingers through his tousled hair. “Hey, sleepyhead.”
He let out an amused exhale at the nickname he had earned, the corners of his lips curled up a little into a lazy smile. “Oh, is that what I am now?”
“Mhm. Keep it up and I’ll have to start charging you for using me as a pillow.” Your voice was a playful one, spoken through a laugh as you hid the recipe book behind the pillow your head was propped against. It can’t be a surprise if he caught a glimpse, right?
“You can have every last penny in my damn bank account,” was his response—to which you simply snickered over. His American Express Black visa card was like an endless void of wealth.
Leon rolled one of his shoulders to remove some kinks as he sat up properly, missing your comforting body warmth already.
He always looked the prettiest like this: somewhat messy golden hair, slight flush on his cheeks, sleepy eyes that you didn’t want to look away from, and some marks on one of his cheeks from it being pressed up snugly against the fabric of your shirt.
“Looks like I missed the ending credits,” he glanced over at the now turned off television—he’d fallen asleep during the last half hour of the movie, like usual. Not that he was missing out, he had watched most movies so it wasn’t a bother. Plus, when it came time to actually sleep, like a healthy eight hours and all, he never could. So he took any nap time that his body granted him. “Can I put another one on?”
“Yeah, as long as you don’t yap my ear off about how silly the protagonists are again.” You could never escape hearing Leon’s muttered quips whenever the two of you watched something—it was funny, Leon had seen all the bigger issues in the world and yet he got frustrated by the decisions of fictional characters.
“What’s the fun in that?”
Tumblr media
02— EXECUTION
You were given the perfect opportunity. Ingredients and dishes were already scattered all throughout your kitchen counters, and your recipe book was hoisted up nicely on a stand so it wouldn’t get dirty.
Leon was returning from a long briefing at his headquarters and the plan was for him to head directly to your house afterwards. He was going to go on a mission soon and his goal was always to spend as much time with you as possible. He’d latch onto your damn side all day, if he could.
You had the windows above the sink opened up to let some fresh air in, the curtains flowing a bit with each graze of breeze. It was cold as hell outside, but it helped ventilate all the heat that was gathering from the stove and oven. The television was on a low level, just some background noise to seep into the kitchen.
While you let some ingredients heat up on a large skillet, you cast your attention towards decorating the table up a bit. Not too much, but enough to make a difference. A candle of Leon’s favorite scent placed on the center of the surface, matching mugs already set—maybe they seemed a little too casual given the stupid puns written on them, but you figured Leon would appreciate it more than some fancy cups.
An hour and a half passed by and Leon was barely arriving, ready to complain about some of his rather annoying coworkers to you. If age didn’t give him gray hairs soon, the people in his line of work definitely would.
He had a set of keys to your house, fumbling with them as he unlocked the door.
“Hey, sweetheart.” His voice called out once he entered, for the sake of letting you know he wasn’t an intruder or anything. He usually expected to see you lounging on the couch, but not tonight. Instead, his senses were met with the tasty aroma coming from the kitchen, and the loud clatter of sounds from there as well.
Like a dog smelling a treat, his attention was immediately drawn and he naturally walked over to your kitchen, his curious eyes took in the scene.
Leon had seen a lot, inexplicable creatures that should have the power to make him still in his tracks—but they never did. Now, the sight of the homely decorated kitchen and the nice arrangement of plates on the kitchen table was something that made him pause in his steps. It looked straight out of a romance movie, something that would be described in a romance novel.
And you, the light of his life waiting for him with a small smile on your face. You looked a bit nervous, eyebrows furrowed together ever so slightly but still trying to muster some confidence.
Leon didn’t know whether he felt more like crying or grinning like a damn idiot. A mixture of the two, probably. The lump forming in his throat made him unable to vocalize his gratitude, his voice would crack and sound like a damn croak if he tried.
“Uh,” that’s all he could manage. He was usually good at showing his gratitude, but with such a thoughtful gesture like this, he felt all his known vocabulary scramble around in his mind into a jumbled mess.
“Penny for your thoughts?” You egged him on, wanting to hear the rest of his sentence—it wasn’t often you saw Leon all speechless, not with the banter and quips that came in his boyfriend package.
“That’s…” he trailed off, his hand motioning towards the scene you had oh so beautifully displayed for his eyes and use alone. “That’s just…” he looked over to you, corners of his eyes crinkling from the happiness that reached his eyes. “You did all this?”
His words were quiet, and for a second he feared you’d think he didn’t appreciate it. But he noticed the chuckle and shake of head you did at his performance. “Mhm, didn’t know it was possible for you to freeze up like this.”
He let out an exhale, grin forming on his face. God, he loved you.
“C’mere,” he muttered that out while moving towards you, enveloping your frame with his arms—having to hold back on squeezing you like he wanted to for the sake of not crushing your bones. He had a bad case of cuteness aggression for you.
The aroma of the food you cooked subsided when the scent of Leon’s cologne filled your senses instead—cool and earthy, one you could drown yourself in and pinpoint a mile away.
Leon kissed the top of your head as he articulated his thoughts, wanting to form them into actual words without spluttering—and without taking too much time because he’d be devastated if the meal you cooked for him went cold.
“You’re squishing me,” you grumbled, palms finding the surface of Leon’s chest and lazily trying to push him away. “Take a seat, it’s all ready.”
“I know, I know.” He placed his hands on your hips, guiding the two of you over to the table. He managed to land one last kiss against your forehead before fully parting. “It’s just really nice. I can’t even remember the last time I had—“
“A homemade meal?” You chimed in, to which he nodded as he sat down, his eyes flicking down to look at the food and sides more closely. His mouth was watering, he didn’t even need any utensils to dig in, he could just use his hands.
You knew him well, and reached over to playfully nudge his shoulder. “Don’t hold back on my sake,” You scooped up a spoonful of the food and brought it up towards his mouth. “Say ah…”
“Wish I could take a picture of this,” he grinned out, complying and opening his mouth for you to feed him.
You watched him eagerly as you set the spoon down against his plate and watched him chew, trying to hold back a smile—your eyes brimming with elation, your one true love was eating your meal, composed of all the love and emotion you poured into it.
Leon’s eyes shut with delight when his taste buds were flooded with all the savory flavors, letting out an involuntary groan. God, had he really been missing out on this for all these years?
There’d be mini hearts floating above his head if this were a cartoon. “Fuck, that’s good.”
“Yeah?” Your question came out a little more thrilled than you had hoped, and Leon caught onto it, you were so cute it was killing him.
“Yeah,” he echoed, hand reaching to hold yours over the table and giving it a gentle squeeze. “How long did it take you to do all this?”
While you responded, he was digging into the food—good thing you made seconds, because only a minute had passed and the surface of his plate was already beginning to show.
“—the time passed by really quickly though, when you unlocked the door I had barely served the food onto the plates. You got here right on time.”
You had never seen Leon eat this damn fast, maybe because the two of you usually ate in restaurants and he had to be a little courteous in public. Or maybe, he was making up for the years he had gone without the taste of a homemade meal.
“Easy there, tiger.” You were a little nervous he might fucking choke. What a way for your boyfriend to go, ‘death by choking on his partner’s food’ written on his gravestone. Would that be murder on your part? Anyways.
Leon’s cheeks blossomed with a rosy hue when he was called out, taking a breather instead of another mouthful. He felt spoiled now. You spoiled him. He had no idea how he would ever return to his bland tasting mission foods or even the dishes from the high rated food areas around, they all pale in comparison to your cooking. The secret ingredient they lacked was your love—the one thing that made his taste buds feel like they were swimming in an ocean of flavor.
“Sorry, it just really hits the spot.” He glanced over at your plate and realized that he was very much ahead, smiling bashfully to himself when he looked back up at you. “What can I say? Your cooking is delicious, none of it is going to go to waste.”
He looked over to the dessert you had made, it was untouched, there was no way in hell he was going to try it without you also finishing your plate of the main meal first, so the two of you could eat it at the same time. “So, what led to all this?” His question wasn’t a rude one, just out of pure awe and curiosity. What the hell had he done to deserve such a generous gesture?
“I dunno,” you shrugged out, not wanting to sound too sentimental or anything, “I just thought it would be nice.”
“C’mon, there’s gotta be more to it than that.”
“Well…” you trailed off, giving in and sighing. “You’ve trusted me with a lot of information about yourself and I love you. I thought that maybe instead of going out for dinner or ordering take out, I could give the kitchen a go and treat you to a hot and fresh homemade meal. It’s more special that way.”
“I love you too,” those words tumbled from his lips quietly, as if telling you the most valuable piece of information he holds. He felt his heart doing somersaults, already knowing he was going to spend his life reliving this memory, holding it close to him in a special pocket within the chambers of his heart.
The rest of the hour was spent domestically, sharing the dessert and Leon insisting that he clean everything up—from the dishes to wiping down the counters and sweeping the floor all while he listened in on you ramble about random things, he didn’t want to let you lift a single finger after all you had done for him. And of course, he took some mini breaks in between to snatch a sweet kiss from you, savoring the sweet taste of the dessert the two of you had eaten.
Tumblr media
03— RESULTS (18+)
“Can’t believe you cooked for me,” Leon murmured against your ear, breath fanning over your skin as his hands snaked up and down your sides before settling on your hips. There was a rasp to his voice, a familiar one. He was starving despite the meal he had just eaten, every nerve in his body needing to feel you in order to truly feel full. He had a sweet tooth for you, and his craving needed to be satiated.
“I’m just glad you liked it,” you responded, mind already fuzzy with the way your lover’s hands grazed over you. “I was a little worried my cooking wouldn’t live up to all the 5 star restaurants we’ve eaten at.”
“Are you kidding?” His question was rhetorical, his mind set on a straight beeline to your bedroom. “Maybe I should show appreciation for my little chef then, hm?”
“Mm, maybe.”
That’s all it took for you to end up with your back against the headboard of your bed, legs spread with Leon adorning the space between them.
His moans were muffled against you, the vibrations sending blood straight to your bundle of nerves. He was so damn loud whenever he got a taste of you.
Leon’s hips were grinding against the mattress, cock leaking so much that his pants were surely already ruined. Yeah, he was so desperate to have his face stuffed against you that he didn’t even fucking unzip his pants.
You, on the other hand, were getting the best head of your life. One hand curled against your bedsheets meanwhile the other one had a hold on Leon’s hair, involuntary pulling and tugging with each movement of his mouth. Your noises just egged Leon on, each moan or gasp that left your mouth was responded to by a grunt of his own.
“Fuck,” he pulled back for a second to catch his breath, littering gentle kisses against your inner thigh, coating the area with the mixture of his own drool and your fluids that were on his chin.
“Wanna do this every fuckin’ day.” A kiss. “Come home, get on my knees, and taste you.” Another one. “Make you come over my face again and again.” His tongue lapped across your skin. “Suffocate between your thighs.”
“Leon!” You were desperate, hips bucking up into nothing and meeting the air of the room.
His eyes flicked to yours, letting out a soft growl when he saw the dazed out expression on your face. His favorite one—looking like a damn deer in the headlights with the way your eyes were pleading for him, lips parted and ready to beg if need be. He wanted to hear you say it. “What is it, sweetheart? What do you need?”
“You,” you replied breathlessly, tugging his head further up so he could get the damn message and continue. Leon was licking his lips already, mouth salivating at just how much your arousal was showing.
“You have me,” he was being a tease, massaging your inner thigh with one of his hands, kneading the flesh and blowing out some air directly at the area between your thighs. The way you squirmed around made him want to palm himself right on the spot. But he held back, you were his first priority.
“Want you inside,” you could barely even utter those three words out, the words blending together and sounding slurred.
A smirk found its way onto Leon’s lips, “yeah? right here?” He teasingly rubbed your already throbbing hole with his fingers, letting out a contented sigh at the way your legs jolted in response.
“Yeah, but…your cock, not just your fingers.” You whined out in complaint, knowing that it would take a while to get to the main prize.
“Shh, I know. That’s all you think about, my cock huh? You’ll get it, don’t worry, jus’ gotta prep you for it.” He slid a finger in until his knuckle disappeared, his fingers were so fucking thick that even one stretched you out. He raised his body further up, trailing kisses from the bottom of your stomach all the way to the middle of your chest.
“So reactive,” he murmured out, noticing the heave of your chest and how your stomach would tighten up with each thrust of his finger. His free hand grazed over the left side of your chest, pinching and twisting your hardened nipple.
“You’re driving me crazy,” your voice was strained, nails scratching Leon’s scalp but he welcomed the sting of it.
“Mission accomplished, then.” His voice was a rumble against your chest, tongue darting out to flick against your other nipple before sucking it gently, wet noises produced in the process. He had no shame, stimulating practically every single one of your senses and looking hot as hell doing it.
His tongue circled around your nipple for another few moments before he began trailing kisses up your collarbones and to your neck, the hiccup of your breath made him growl, burying himself into the scent of your soap and shampoo.
He slid another finger into you while igniting your body into flames, letting out a string of profanity under his breath when you took it with ease. “Fuck, you’re ready for me.” Not a question, but an observation, and suddenly Leon became very aware of the way his cock was begging to be freed from the confines of his pants.
He sat back on his knees and let out a breathless laugh at the way you whined from the loss of contact, he took his belt off in a hurry and unzipped his pants. Pavlog’s dog experiment. The sound of Leon’s fly coming undone made your mouth salivate in response because you knew what was coming.
Your eyes were fixated on him, watching the way he tugged his pants and boxers down—breath hitching at the way his cock slapped up against his stomach, already leaking and ready to stuff you full.
He placed one of his hands against the bone of your hip, his other one stroking his cock a bit as he inched towards you. “You ready, sweetheart?”
“Yeah, fuck, just put it in already.” Your impatience earned a huff of amusement from Leon, who tapped the tip of his cock against your hole a couple times before guiding it in. His head tilted back, mouth parting and letting out a groan when he filled you up completely—your head thrashed against the pillow, feeling him reconstruct the shape of your insides.
His cock was buried snugly in you, heavy balls pressed against the bottom of your ass, ready to shoot his load within a moment's notice. Leon was breathing inconsistently against you, kissing the corner of your mouth before making his way towards the shell of your ear. “Signal?”
“Green,” that whiny response from you was all it took for Leon’s hips to begin moving.
“God, you’re sucking me right in already.” His hip thrusts were slow but deep, each jolt making the headboard thump against the wall. “Give me your hand please,” The shakiness in his voice was cute, no matter how many times the two of you did this, he always asked for the same thing.
So you did just that, hand reaching for one of his—he immediately laced his fingers with yours, thumb rubbing over yours.
You moved your other arm under and over his shoulder to paw at his back, he hissed when your nails dug into his back scratched him up, undoubtedly leaving red marks on his pale skin—it would hurt like a bitch later but all it did was turn him on right now. “That’s it. Mark me up, baby. I’m yours, all yours.”
He looked down at the way his hips were rutting against yours, speeding the pace up a bit as his eyes flicked back into yours. He felt some pride that he was the one who had you falling apart, the one that made that dumb and needy expression form on your face.
“Feels so good,” you slurred out, your senses turning fuzzy, he was filling you up so good, reaching so deep that it had you seeing stars and clenching down on him. You wrapped your legs around his torso, needing to cling onto him.
“Baby—” he gasped out as soon as he felt the way you tightened up, squeezing your hand in response. “Ease up for me, not gonna last long if you keep squeezing me like that.”
“I know, I know…” you babbled out, but you couldn’t relax your body completely with the way your own hips snapped up to meet his.
Leon knew he was going to come soon, how could anyone hold back? You were making him addicted to you.
“Can I come inside you?” He somehow managed to grit that out, breathing rate growing in intensity.
You nodded almost immediately, wanting to feel him paint your insides white and feel the warmth of his cum, rambling almost incoherently. “Mhm, want you to fill me up. Please, please, please. I need it.”
“Shit, I will, don’t worry. Just gotta make sure you come first.” He was always so insistent on your pleasure, pressing his lips against yours and swallowing all of the pretty noises you made. Tongues swirling sloppily against each other, he loved the way you were barely even able to kiss him back properly. God, the tiny and quiet whimpers you let out were making his cock twitch inside you. You were trembling, too overwhelmed by the feeling of the coil in your stomach, but it’s okay, because you let Leon guide the kiss, drool spilling from the corner of your mouth.
Leon was losing it, holding back on spilling inside you, he needed to make sure you came before he did—but it was so hard with the way your ankles were crossed against his back and keeping him in place.
“Leon,” you sobbed his name out through an exhale, digging your heels into the arch of his back. “Too much, ‘s too much—” He could read your body well, the way you were holding onto his body so tightly he felt stuck, the way your voice turned up a pitch higher than usual.
“That’s it,” he lifted his hand to cradle the back of your head and hold you close, pressing kisses against the side of your head. “Come for me, sweetheart. Come all over my cock, you can do it. Let me feel you.”
You buried your head against his shoulder, breath fanning against his skin and incomprehensible mumbles of his name tipping out of your mouth, like if Leon was your God and you were chanting him a prayer.
Your eyes rolled to the back of your head, vision going white with a final call of his name, clenching around him and hissing when you felt his load spill inside you in ropes, his hips thrusting some more times in you before he stilled inside you.
He held you close as you shook against him, keeping you stable like he always did.
Silence, aside from the sounds of yours and Leons panting and the sound of the bedsheets twisting as you adjusted your position a bit, planting your feet back against the mattress and gasping softly when you felt him slowly pull out of you. Running a hand through Leon’s now damp hair, you let out a breathless chuckle. “You’re insatiable.”
“Not denying that,” managing to catch his breath, Leon propped himself up by pressing his palm against the pillow, pressing a gentle and loving kiss against your lips, his own curling up into a smile. “Stay right here. I’ll get you some water and clean you up.”
“No way in hell, mister,” you mumbled out, wanting to cuddle up with him before getting to that. You could handle being dehydrated for five more minutes in favor of being in his arms and some pillow talk. “Don’t get up yet, five more minutes.”
“Anything for my favorite chef.”

(edited to fix page 3, oops!)
Hello! Here's a Hollowframe zine I made for my 2D design class final last week!
We basically got to make an 8-paged zine + poster designed for a double-sided 11x17" sheet of paper about anything we wanted, so I elected to just reuse stuff I already drew for my ongoing Hollowframe project since I was already buried under other assignments (though I still ended up putting way too much effort into it lol, I even remade the full group arrangement!)
The idea was to split the timeline of the Hollowframe project into four rough "phases", take a warframe from each, and then condense a bunch of info about the design I drew for them into a page each.
Hollowframe tag!
Google drive link with high quality pdfs, pngs, and more for printing and whatever! :) (and send me pics if you actually print it!!)
Pics of the irl folded zine and more under the cut!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And here's an unfolded view of all of the pages:
Tumblr media
Feel free to try printing and folding it yourself! (here is a random zine folding tutorial I found: https://zineopolis.blogspot.com/p/h.html) (meant for 11x17" paper but idk maybe you can make a really small one lol)
I used Photoshop for the page backgrounds, Illustrator to arrange the pages themselves, and Krita to rearrange the full group image.
Pretty happy with how it turned out! I'm honestly mostly glad I finally got an excuse to remake that full group arrangement cause man that dull bluish gray background was not doing it for me anymore lol (though now it's 11x17" rather than 16:9 ratio so maybe not as good for desktop backgrounds but idk if that matters that much? idk i might adjust it back to a 16:9 ratio if people really want me to)
Anyways that's it for now bye bye :)

So, you want to dupe a book from a show you're obsessed with?
(or, how I recreated one of Claudia's diaries)
Tumblr media
Step 1: Assessment
The diary I chose to recreate is a hardcover with a floral pattern on it. I still can't tell if it's covered in book cloth or decorative paper, but I chose to cover mine in cloth because it'll last longer (and because this was for a class and I had to cover in cloth)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Step 2: Plan
What techniques will be required for this project? What materials are you going to need? In my case, I knew I was going to need some way of printing the pattern onto book cloth and coloring it in - that meant ink, lino blocks, carving tools, and googling around to see if my alcohol markers would be permanent. I was also originally planning to back my own book cloth, so I planned to buy fabric for that.
Step 3: Gather Materials
I ended up using a linocut stamp, oil-based black ink, alcohol markers, and pre-made book cloth for the final product. I also had to use mineral spirits to clean up the ink, which required some research in advance to make sure I wasn't about to poison myself. Make sure you're being safe!
Step 4: Execute
Do the damn thing. For me, this involved:
4a. Tracing the pattern on Krita using the cleanest screenshot I could get. Reformat it so that it will work as a repeating design. IF YOU'RE STAMPING, REVERSE YOUR DESIGN. SAVE YOURSELF FROM MY HEADACHES.
Tumblr media
4b. Print out the design in a few sizes. Pick a size, and transfer it onto a lino block by covering the back of the paper in graphite and tracing over the pattern. Cut the pattern into the lino with a cutting tool (or, if you're a detail freak like me, use a lino cutter for most of it and then scrape out the fine lines with an awl).
4c. Test out your stamp. Cut away excess material, thin some of those lines, practice repeating the design. If you're having trouble lining up the repeating design, draw a guide on the back of the stamp so you know where things are positioned while you're stamping. (on mine, I drew a dot in each corner that lined up with those center flower dots)
Tumblr media
4d. Print! Listen to a podcast and stamp that shit.
Tumblr media
4e. Color - I opted to color in my design like a coloring sheet rather than make a bunch more stamps for each individual color. I tested out my alcohol markers on a scrap of book cloth I'd printed on, in case the markers made the print ink bleed and so that I could match the colors from my screenshot.
I also covered a test board with that colored-in scrap, just in case the glue interacted weirdly with the design, but it turned out fine, so I went ahead and colored in the full sheet.
Tumblr media
4f. Covering the case - this part was standard bookbinding, just a full cloth case with 5/8th'' turn-ins. The most stressful part of this was cutting into the sheet of beautiful cloth I'd just finished!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
4g. Casing in - Again, standard bookbinding, there are lots of tutorials for this online.
Final result:

Hello, this is the perosn who runs the “Lackaroses” blog (You can look at the pinned post on that blog and you can see that if links to this one)
I just wanted to say that it makes my day whenever you like or re-blog one of my posts! Your work inspires me so much and I’m so happy that people enjoy my fan work!
I also wanted to ask if you’re okay with me using some of your patreon art, someone brought it up and I wanted to make sure it doesn’t upset you. To be clear, I don’t straight up get the images off your patreon, I find them off other websites like Pinterest and google.
Hello! Likewise, it's always lovely to see your boards pop up in my feed, and I'm glad to see others are enjoying them too! It's a little difficult to give a blanket 'yes' to posting things found on Pinterest and Google, since sometimes people will yoink things from the Patreon and post them around before I've made them public. If it's a mini-comic that looks unfamiliar, a tutorial, or a full character sheet that wasn't from the pilot, or animation that wasn't from the pilot, please don't, as that's more likely to be a Patron-only thing. If it's just a standalone drawing or painting of a canon Lackadaisy character, though, it's fine to use it.

Leon and Your Hair
a/n: I haven't written in years so this is very experimental 💀 I'm open to constructive feedback!
Also, I wrote this with the reader having type 4 hair in mind but I tried to make it as texture-inclusive as possible :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
General:
Leon himself takes pride in his hair and appearance in general which is one of many ways you guys relate to each other.
I imagine your shared bathroom would be full of hair products and tools more than anything else, though most of it is yours.
Leon isn't ignorant, he knew how important hair is to your culture way before you got together. Because of this, he respects how much effort your maintenance requires.
RE2:
This man 100% uses all your stuff every time he comes over. You start wondering if these containers have a hole at the bottom of them or something. Eventually, Leon just starts buying the shampoo/conditioner combo you use for himself at home because it's doing wonders for his hair. Plus the scent reminds him of you, it's a win-win.
Leon had nice hair before, but your presence in his life introduces him to products like deep conditioner, hair oils, etc that just elevate it further.
When you get your hair braided or styled Leon always wants to be the first person to see it! He even goes out of his way to pick you up from the salon so he can shower you with compliments right after.
If he has time I can see Leon sitting in the salon with you for however many hours it takes the stylists to be done. He sits there flipping through the hair magazines he took from the waiting area, turning the pages over to you every couple of minutes. "Babe, you should try this next time." with the most genuine smile on his face. Even if it was some atrocious 90's editorial style, you smile and nod at every single one.
RE4:
Once Leon starts going on long missions he's unable to be your personal chauffeur 24/7, so he'd definitely want you to text him pictures every time you get your hair done. He always sets them as his phone wallpaper to have an updated photo of you everywhere he goes.
During his training I doubt he'd have the luxury of technology though, instead opting to get a Polaroid of you every now and then in the mail. He always makes sure to compliment you on something in the letters he sends back and keeps the latest Polaroid somewhere in his pockets while the older ones are tacked to his wall. (poor guy misses you so much)
When he's home with you he realizes how much he missed your silk pillowcases and bed sheets. He didn't think they were actually helping his hair and skin until he had to sleep in crazy locations during training/missions and noticed the difference. he silently thanks you for that.
RE6/ID/DI:
After so many years of being together, Leon knows about all your hair preferences, favorite styles, and even things he hasn't seen you in yet. (our boy is educated 👏🏾).
Sometimes you ask him to help pick what you'll do with your hair next which either ends with him saying "You look beautiful no matter what" or showing you very specific photos he found on Google.
It's been years since you've paid for your own hair because Leon insists on taking care of that for you. It doesn't matter how much it costs, he has no problem with it as long as you are happy.
He'd go into the beauty supply store with you and know exactly where to go and what to get, even reminding you not to forget some things along the way.
Leon has a huge soft spot for your natural hair, whatever texture it may be he's whipped for it. Loves being able to touch your hair (with permission) and probably asks to help you on wash days so he has an excuse to do so.
speaking of which, I can see wash days becoming an intimate thing for you two as you get older. He'd help you shampoo in the shower as a form of affection, or you're sitting in his lap while he helps you detangle when your arms get tired.
If you have locs I can see Leon looking up a tutorial on how to do retwists to help you out. Even if you tell him time and time again that you'd rather have your loctician do it he insists you give him a chance. Turns out he's not half bad at it and you let him do it a few times a year.

50 things to do instead of binging!!
coming from personal experience from someone who has lost over 11 kg since I stopped binging a couple moths ago, these have worked for me
Remember binge urges don't last forever. It's difficult to resist them, but if you distract yourself or pass time, the urge can pass without the need for a binge. Stay strong, you can do it!
crafts:
Try embroidery/cross stitching
Make friendship bracelets, even better if it’s red (like the old ana bracelet lol)
Learn how to knit or crochet
Make a pompom
Learn how to make a bead lizard
Paint a clothing item with bleach
Make something out of clay/fimo/foam clay
Learn how to make a new origami design, there are plenty of instructions available
Try macrame, there are loads of easy instructions for it online
arts:
Paint, try painting with a different medium than usual to force yourself to concentrate harder
Draw something, you can use methods like the grid technique
Doodle! Try to fill an entire a4
Try to draw with crayons, have fun. For some reasons crayons make everything lower stakes for me
Make a children's story (not for actual kids though), write it and you can add pictures (bonus points if you make it disturbing)
Make a collage using old magazines, you can include motivational quotes
Make moodboards
Try making found poetry (for example with an old book or magazine)
ed-stuff:
Draw something, you can use your fave thinspo as a reference
Make yourself a diet/weight tracker for the next month (on paper or digitally) you can choose the theme of it yourself
write meanspo/sweetspo for yourself or find some
Try bullet journalling, you can make trackers for yourself (highly recommend one for not binging!)
Make your own motivational quotes, there are lists of “ana quotes” online, or you can go the funny route instead. A tip is to use lyrics from songs you relate to and adding a motivating picture as the background (maybe one day I’ll share my folder of these)
Write down your goals, make it look pleasing to you
Measure your circumferences with a measuring tape, you can write them down and compare later
Make an excel sheet where you can log stats and calories and stuff
Play with excel to make graphs of your weight loss or weekly intake! Lots of tutorials on how to make graphs, learning to use excel is a good distraction (has been really helpful for me to keep motivated and distracted)
Write a haiku/poem about your ed
Listen to triggering music
GROSSPO (ew maggots, mold and stuff like that)
Take bodychecks and compare to older ones
Watch other people binging instead of binging yourself
Calculate the calories of whatever you are craving, this always helps shock me and reconsider
Calculate your current bmr (base metabolic rate, you can calculate it online), calculate your bmr at your ugw too
self care:
Paint your nails/clip your nails. Toenails too
Take a shower or bath (seeing yourself naked helps a lot, and it helps pass time)
Put on a facemask
Do a foot soak
Try a new makeup look, it doesn’t have to look nice, you can even try to make the most ridiculous look ever
Apply body lotion throughout your entire body (again this helps you reconsider by making you self conscious)
get out of the situation and clear your head:
Go outside! And don’t take food or money with you. Just go outside to get yourself out of the situation making you want to binge
Take a walk, motivate yourself with cigs if needed (unless you're a minor). Or go sit and breathe in a forest or isolated area of a park
Go swimming! Yea in the summer, or in the winter. Ice swimming really helps shock your body out of binging
Exercise and do a workout, there are plenty of beginner friendly ones on for example youtube
learn new things:
Learn a new language, make the duolingo bird proud
Learn the alphabet in morse code! Or ASL!
Do your homework if you have any
Play with google translate and learn random phrases in random languages, or try to see what hilarious sentences you can come up with by translating several times
games and miscellaneous:
Play a video game, solitaire and firegirl and waterboy are my faves that are free through google, but find some you enjoy
Word searches! Or crosswords, or sudokus if that’s what you’re into, there are plenty online
Come up with your own list of 50 things to do instead of binging!! making your own list with things personal to you will help better

hi! where do you get your drabble prompt lists from? do you have a compilation of all the prompt words somewhere
Thank you so much for asking this! Quite coincidentally, I've been working on a post about how to curate prompt lists without AI, because I'm SO ANNOYED BY PEOPLE SAYING THEY NEED AI FOR PROMPTS. You do not need one iota of AI for writing prompts! Here's how I curated my list of random word prompts, which has enough prompts on it for me to do daily drabbles for something like 27 years if I wanted.
Image-heavy How-To under the cut!
This is my method for curating a prompt list, which means that these are the kinds of prompts that work well for me. I like single-word or short phrase prompts only, because prompts that are too detailed feel "already written" to my brain and don't inspire me. If you have a different style of prompt that you prefer, that's totally fine. You still don't need AI, though, I promise -- any style of prompt you like, you can google it and there WILL be thousands of curated lists created by actual human writers at your disposal. @fixyourwritinghabits has TONS of resources about finding and curating writing prompts without AI.
But if you like single word/random word prompts, this is how I created my Massive Prompt List.
Go to the Porn Battle. WHAT? Yes, I said Go To The Porn Battle, which was a fandom event for many many years and featured any and every pairing under the sun, requested alongside... random prompt words. Some are porny. Most are just words! Pick any given year of Porn Battle from the archives in the sidebar. https://web.archive.org/web/20160716010243/http://battle.oxoniensis.org/
Tumblr media
2. Copy the ENTIRE PAGE. This will take a LOT of memory! It is an extremely long page of text! (I did this on a desktop computer. I cannot promise you can do this tutorial as-is on a phone or tablet.)
Tumblr media
3. Paste it into Notepad or another PLAIN-TEXT program. Word will try to include the formatting, and we don't want the formatting. Plus, plaintext will use slightly less memory.
Tumblr media
4. Copy your plaintext into a word processing program. I used Word 365 without Copilot, and I cannot guarantee that the steps are exactly repeatable in Google Docs, but I would assume that they are pretty close.
Tumblr media
5. This step, though, I am NOT sure that you can do in Google Docs, so you may have to play around and see what your options are there. You're going to open up Find+Replace, and FIND all the commas (,) and REPLACE them with tabs (^t).
Tumblr media
6. Now you have an even longer document, because obviously tabs take up more physical pagespace than commas do. That's what we want. We're going to copy this entire document...
Tumblr media
7. ...And paste it into a spreadsheet. I used Excel, but I assume that Google Sheets has many of the same capabilities. Again, you'll need to play around if you're not using Office. But each tab should be in the next column over. This is key. This is what we want. If your document all copied into one column, go back and try again with the tabs.
Tumblr media
8. The FIRST column is all of the FANDOMS AND PAIRINGS. Since I am not interested in keeping those for my prompt list -- I have my own fandoms and my own pairings that I want to write, and odds are I haven't even heard of a lot of the ones people were submitting 15-20 years ago! -- we're going to delete the entire FIRST column. ONLY THE FIRST.
Tumblr media
9. Now we have approximately 15,000 random words in their own cells across the spreadsheet. *I* personally like to alphabetize each column to get rid of the blank cells. It's easier to see how many columns we're actually working with that way.
Tumblr media
10. Now the slightly tedious work starts: curating the actual list. We're going to cut Column B and paste it at the bottom of Column A. Alphabetize Column A (which now also includes the text from B). And then DATA -> REMOVE DUPLICATES.
Tumblr media
11. Repeat for every column until you have one fucking long Column A of random word prompts! Then, go through the list and remove any that you know you will not be interested in writing -- that might be words specific to a fandom you aren't in (Dalek, for example); words that are squicky for you; words that you don't know; words that just don't ping your brain with story ideas. But for that last one... be very generous. Allow EVERY meaning of a word to be a possibility. You might not think that a word fits with your OTP or fandom of choice, but in 99% of cases, you can find a way, I would bet.
12. Copy your WHOLE long-ass Column A of alphabetized words into the List Randomizer. https://www.random.org/lists/
13. Paste the randomized list back into whatever program you want to use to store your list. I keep mine in Excel, separated into smaller 100-prompt lists, but I am nuts when it comes to prompts. You can easily keep your list in Word, or Google Docs, or Ellipsus, or whatever!
Tumblr media
14. Write! Play! Have fun!
I also have a couple of already-curated prompt lists on my Tumblr at https://www.aimmyarrowshigh.com/drabbles -- Feel free to use these lists however you wish. I'd love to be tagged to see what you write! :)
