Rewatching KHR! and there's this scene in Varia arc where Tsuna is training with Basil and Basil being the only person in this series who's actually concerned that Tsuna said he didn't want to train and Reborn telling him that it's just Japanese culture to say what they did not mean is honestly peak KHR humor LMAOOOOOO
#khr#sawada tsunayoshi#reborn#basil#i mean this series is pretty wacky bcs Tsuna is the only sane mane in the world full of bokke#But when viewed in the perspective that Reborn is Italian and Tsuna is Japanese it becomes so fucking hilarious#Tsuna: STOP IT PLEASE I WILL DIE#Reborn: Ah look at this Japanese kid being all Japanese#Let me put some Sicilian knowledge in his SPINE

Isekaid into their world
Dazai Osamu
🤎The one advantage you have as you stumble helplessly into this world is that the environment and the city around you belongs to a place that isn't as different as your own home, minues the people with the gifts of course. The way of living and the technology aren't anything out of the norm for you though so even if you are dropped without any preparation or knowledge into this world, you can still somewhat adjust. Still though, even if you try to blend in as good as possible, something about you always stands out and to trained eyes that will become quite obvious. It just happens to be your misfortune that Dazai is a man with eyes that perceive more than the average person on the street. From the very first glance you two shared, he knew that there was something about you as you looked at him as if you knew him. Rather intriguing. There is always such a cute aura of wariness yet simultaneous curiosity when you have him around you, the fleeting glances you give him always an indicator how you have an inner debate on whether to approach him or not. Normally the average person is easily fooled by his facade yet your nervousness is the one that tells him that you know of something you shouldn't.
🤎How do you know if he has never met you before? You are such an oddball, even though you do not seem like a threat to him. Still, he is rather curious now and would like to find out more about you yet as he finds himself stalking you, he finds himself in a dead end. There is nothing to be found about you. No origin, no family, no past. Only the police records on how you were found one day and how you were helped to find a job and enabled to live a life by yourself. Your mouth is shut when he tries to pry for answers yet all of it doesn't stop his obsession as it instead only fuels it. There is a secret you keep and Dazai is dying to know what it is that you fret to let others find out about. He would love to be the person you trust enough to tell him what it is you are keeping to yourself. If it doesn't work though, he switches tactics by drugging you and getting your mind to finally let loose as he coaxes the secrets out of you. If you were isekaid by dying, he would start musing if something similar were to happen if he would die, although of course he would only pass away with you by his side. Who knows, maybe both of you may even become reincarnated lovers if being isekaid more than once is possible.
Alucard
🩸Your struggles are more obvious as you essentially land on earth in the pat where supernatural creatures exist yet even despite initial problems and a silent anxiety you dwell on at night, you manage to build your life from scratch. Life is still fine after all, even if you are stranded in a world you do not belong to. All that finds an abrupt end though when you meet the man in red. There is such a raw and visceral reaction when your eyes land on his tall form as your heart is trembling. Frozen is your body as your gaze is glued to the vampire until he suddenly stops and turns around and even though his eyes are hidden behind sunglasses, you feel your heart trembling as you finally gather the strength to turn around and scurry away. Your biggest mistake was paying so much attention to him. He wonders what has gotten you so frightened as red eyes follow your form sprinting away. Alucard is rather used to the intimidation humans and even other creatures tend to feel when they meet him for the first time yet your fear was not one of natural intimidation. Those yes looked at him as if they knew him and it is that aspect that gains his interest. How would you know him?
🩸Your hopes to outrun from the vampire king are feeble and in a way you know that yourself. Whether he is stalking you from your shadows or emerges suddenly from somewhere, Alucard is always there and when you do catch sight of him it is because he chose to let you see him. He must admit that your case is a rather intriguing one as he has done his sweet research on you yet is standing here with only a handful of information. There is nothing else about you that there was there as if you were a ghost that one day just appeared. He enjoys the little hunt though which is why he doesn't decide to take the easisest course of using hypnosis on you immediately but with his arsenal of special weapons and the crawling torment he puts you under, it is only a question of time until he discovers the precious secret you have kept hidden. Eons he has been dwelling on this planet yet he has never found a little traveler like you. A human with no special skills who was transported into another world entirely which was only a work of fiction in your own. It truly is rather amusing, although it does also mean that you probably know about his past he wouldn't have want you to know about.
Captain
🐺Captain is a creature that acts on territorial instincts when it involves his darling as he fully embraces his side as a werewolf in such cases. Perhaps things in his mind are just warped if you were to compare it it your own view. After all he found you all by yourself, confused and left all alone. There was the urge to protect and to save you when he saw you alone back then and now he knows that he felt that way because his instincts had already considered you to be his mate back then. Whatever you used to be before he found you and from wherever you came from means nothing anymore as he would have ripped you away from anyone and anything that would have stopped him. It is all rather overwhelming for you though. You got barely time to even process anything after all before you were abducted by Captain. The constant anxiety can barely be suppressed as even the best poker face couldn't fool his high sense of smell. A scent he is very familiar with as many have trembled in front of him before yet for the first time iin centuries Captain finds himself caring about the fear of his victim. After all his mate shouldn't look at him with such frightened eyes.
🐺As a creature of keen senses and an experienced soldier though, things won't remain hidden forever. The first few days after the secret has been discovered are the scariest as Captain goes full soldier on you. Inolequent questions and commands put you under growing pressure as he puts you through interrogation. If he senses a threat, even if it is a hypothetical one that hasn't been proven to be true yet, he is committed to remove the problem by its roots. If you have been transported already once from one world to another, there is no guarantee that it won't happen again and that is especially likely if you were randomly teleoported from your old world. If the scenario would be that you died before landing in his world, Captain would at least have the assurance that the teleportation was only triggered because of your death. Whilst he is intense yet still overall silent about it, things are very different if the Major should ever find out and he definitely will sooner or later. After all if there is even a slim chance of teleportation between different worlds existing, it is something worth investigating. You remain safe from any experiments though as Captain refuses to let anything harm you.
Gojo Satoru
🩵It is fairly easy to somehow establish a new life in his world. Even if you are aware of the curses existing in this world and even if you know about the terrifying aspects of it all, you know that most people go through their entire life being completely oblivious to it all. The same goes for you as you aren't able to perceive Cursed Energy and for that the terrors of this world lurking around everywhere remain hidden away from you. Whether that is meant to be a relief to you or not depends on your mood on that day. Sometimes you feel a light relief that you do not have to worry yourself about the hideous and ugly aspects of it all and sometimes when your shoulders feel heavy or your paranoia gets the better of you, you fear the things that you do not see. It is perhaps a bit lonely, to know about it all without being able to tell anyone. That is until you meet Gojo. What the normal human eye cannot perceive, his Six Eyes can and so he finds himself instantly focused on you as there is something quite different to you in comparison to others. Why? Because he can't perceive you. He sees you just like everyone else sees you and what is ordinary to them is like opening a new world to Gojo.
🩵Perhaps this is one of the main reasons why he enjoys spending so much time with you. Not only to satiate his own curiosity about you but also because spending time around you is relaxing. There are no minuscule details he sees when he looks at you and it allows him to truly focus on the moment when he is with you. He values that a lot and if it wouldn't have been for his growing obsession, he would have been able to not get too caught on why you are so different from everyone else. Things can escalate very quickly, especially once he dives into your background only to discover absolutely nothing about you. Who are you? Please tell him. His desperation is urgent if you leave him dangling for too long and his paranoia can quickly lead him to lock you away at his own place where he can protect and control you better. He won't take it very well once you are finally forced to admit your secret. Satoru has already lost Suguru after all but now there is a potential risk that there will be a literal alternative world seprarating you from him, a place that he will never be able to reach if you were to be teleported again. It is frightening and worst of all is that he doesn't know what he can do to keep it from happening.
Sawada Tsunayoshi
🔥The technology in his world may be a bit more rusty in comparison to what you are used to but otherwise it is quite possible to settle down in his world. That is until you get involved with the Vongola and their business by sheer accident. In hindsight it was rather stupid to reveal that you knew one of his guards which instantly alarmed them as no ordinary citizen should know about their true identity unless you were a spy or someone who might mean trouble from them. Most of his guards and Tsunayoshi included do not go very harsh on you after your blunt mistake, something Hibari criticises them for but ultimately complies although his scorching stares are not unnoticed by you. Tsuna himself is rather friendly though as he instructs his guards that he would like to meet the person who apparently knows for some reasons all about them. He is mostly understanding as he doesn't even force you to tell him how you knew but he also makes it clear that they will have to keep an eye on you because he isn't able to fully verify who you are even if you don't strike him as a bad person. You don't complain though as it doesn't hamper significantly with your life.
🔥The little information they have on you does heighten the distrust amongst some of the Vongola family but since you have volunteered to let yourself be watched, Tsuna decides to not do anything to force information out on you. You find him sometimes trying to pry the information out of you himself though he only chuckles when you call him out for it. Otherwise Tsunayoshi is rather kind as he even starts helping you in your life a bit if he deems it to be necessary. Honestly, he may just manage to gain your trust enough so that you admit everything to him on your own accord whilst remaining unaware that this has been secretly the plan of his. Everything he has done, he has done because he genuinely cares for you but he is also aware that you do not seem to have a person you really trust despite having obviously something you want to talk about. He has been secretly working hard to gain your trust and if it ultimately pays off, he would be rather pleased. Whilst he is rather surprised when he hears what you have to tell, he has gone through quite a few shocking news in his life before so he won't have a very dramatic reaction to it all. He would like to know though if you may teleport away again.
Byakuran
🍬Byakuran's world is basically the futuristic dystopia you have read about in science fiction stories before. Everything is frightening and unfamiliar as you have to fear for your own life without any protection as you are still freshly stranded on this planet. If you would have had the choice though, you would have prefered the uncertainty and the loneliness over catching the eye of Byakuran himself as you are discovered by him one day when you just happen to sneak around one of his institutions. He is a rather peculiar individual as he openly invites you to join him solely because he just happens to find you interesting and for that would like to keep you close until he has figured you out, something people like Kikyo and Bluebell scold him for accordingly. Even if you were to reject him simply because you know just how bad of a person Byakuran is, you would only lit the fire that will soon transform into a burning obsession as you only stoke his curiosity. The white-haired man has no shame in patronising your time as soon as he has figured out where you reside in as he will actively seek you out from that day on to repeat his offer to you over and over again until the thread snaps and he manipulates you.
🍬He presents you with the information he has gotten on you but it isn't that what frightens you. After all he has as good as nothing on you that he could use to blackmail you. It is rather the fact that Byakuran has started making his own theories based on the clear lack of information and your behavior that he has been observing for a while now. Some of them are disturbingly close to the truth and you can see the intrigue shining in his eyes when he gauges your reactions and notices the little twitches you do and the way you cast your eyes elsewhere when he retells you something he came up with because it is too close to what has happened for you to remain comfortable. Byakuran has already been aware that there are other versions of him existing in other worlds but to find out that there are people with similar abilities to his is rather fascinating, especially from a world that is so different than anything he has ever imagined. Whilst he shows an eager interest to figure out a way to your world, it is more to satisfy his own curiosity. You are not going back after all. No, you are going to stay in this world stuck with him for the rest of your life. You are much too interesting to disappear on him.

Hiiii Ein! Hope the pain has lessened, huuno! For everyone: "Does your OC love anyone? (romantic)", Kurumi: "Who would your OC say is their best friend?", Kana: "Which canon character respects your OC most? What gained that respect?" And Yui: "Did your OC bear witness to anyone’s full character arc?" Sorry for sending so many djdjd take your time!!
Nimaaaa!!! Thank you!!! I was gone for a bit so I couldn't answer this sooner, but the pain has lessened a good amount during that time 🥰🥰✨ Please don't say sorry for sending asks, I love receiving them, it gives me a topic to yap about for my ocs dskjghdvhs I just get bad at answering them when my health spirals down 😆😆
Here's a sketch inspired from this ask, yipeeee kana triooo
For everyone: "Does your OC love anyone? (romantic)"
Ooohh!! 👀✨ I love this question, very juicy hahaha 🤣💕 This would depend on which point of the story they are, but the trio will eventually love someone to some romantic extent (at least).
For Kurumi, that's a big YES, as she's quite the hopeless romantic! She loves shoujosei series(or just the romance genre in general) and dreams a lot of being in a relationship like the lead couples there. Add to that her cuteness aggression, it's quite inevitable that she gets crushes of varying degrees on quite a good amount of characters 😆🫶✨ (examples are Tsuna, Kyoko, Haru, Chrome & Enma - if you feel like there's a pattern then yes sjdfbhjsdv). Of course, a simple crush is different from really falling deep in love with someone, but it's a good start. Her only problem is that she can't commit and go through with it (like confessing, etc). I don't know if you know already, but if you see my previous ship arts with her, maybe you already know who she does fall in love with lol
😆👉🐟
For Kana, it's a vague/complicated type of love that can be romantic so I guess that's a "yes"??? Anyway, getting it to even develop slightly towards that direction is technically not impossible, the chance is non-zero, but it's gonna take...A LOT of time, patience, persistence, understanding & survival skills (and acceptance that u can't ever fix her lmao). She already has a ridiculous amount of issues caused by her love(/obsession?) on the platonic side of things ngl mxhdkbddmdn
For Yui, that's a HELL YEAH! Among the trio, he's the only one with dating experience but he really can't say he loved the people he dated romantically. It's more of trial and error run for him. Fortunately for him, he does eventually find someone he likes a lot! I don't think I mentioned this before unlike for the other twins, so I'll put it here lol The person he ends up falling for is Hiyori (Oniyanagi 10th Gen Sun Guardian).
Kurumi: "Who would your OC say is their best friend?"
Kurumi's bestest friends in the whole world are definitely Kana and Yui! 🥰💖✨ They've been through a lot and are very much ride-or-die. Yui is Kurumi's very first friend. They initially became friends out of obligation and loneliness, but after some rough events here and there, it became a genuine friendship. He's stuck with her/supported her during difficult times in their childhood and Kurumi will always appreciate him for that.
Then there's Kana to Kurumi. Where do I even begin? That's a whole rabbit hole right there. They're platonic soulmates, a set package. Do not separate OR ELSE. 👁️👄👁️
Kana: "Which canon character respects your OC most? What gained that respect?"
Oh, from the top of my head, that would be Hibari. I'll just make separate post if I can think of another canon character who can dethrone him in this lmao His respect for her is based on the respect that he would have for strong and worthy opponents. Kind of similar to Reborn? But more chase-able/bully-able (since she's a fellow student, their paths would cross more often).
It all started when Kana attacked and tried to kill him this one time to take over the school (they went ham at that time, Reborn just stopped them). This is what happens when you think murder is always the answer to your problems. You get some guy, with a passion of at least 180 hardcore soulslike game players, who wants to keep on retrying that boss fight @ you.
Yui: "Did your OC bear witness to anyone’s full character arc?"
Yui doesn't really like being in the spotlight. He's not even that fond of having the right-hand man role designated to him and the "formal" responsibilities that come with it (this is why Gokudera criticizes him often). But one of the main reasons he still stuck to this role is so that he can get to watch over the twins in his own way.
He did bear witness to a good amount of Kana's character arc, but since we're talking from start to finish of someone's character arc, then that would be for Kurumi's. No matter what happens, whether this bestfriend of his grows into a fine person or falls into ruins, he will be there to witness it all 🙂
#khr#khre#khr oc#oc#einart#oc ask#ask#ninomiya kurumi#ninomiya kanako#yorimitsu yui#me remembering how at that time when she attacked hibari--- kana is actually fresh off suspension (not school suspension but in the family)#and promised to papi and mami that she'll behave this time in namimori#she will never learn lmao#also that last part with yui#don't think about it too much ehe 🙂

Trying to find which tropes and archetypes Xanxus fits, I am breaking down his story
He is kind of a 'Evil Former Hero'? Its more of a Former HEIR and he is more Grey than Evil, but he is Tsuna's Predecessor, so he DOES fits the Trope
I talked about how similar he is to Loki and Tai Lung before both in this blog and others sideblogs (here and here), begin a Rebelious Foster Son and a Rival to the ACTUAL Heir (Po begin the True Dragon Warrior, Tsuna the New Vongola Heir and Thor...this one was always the blood firstborn heir)
But I think his situation is far more POLITICAL than both Loki and Tai Lung, he wasnt just the fourth heir, he is the Varia Boss, has a position won by his own merit, not blood.
Timoteo decided to treat him as if he was a mere one of the heirs, not the HEAD of a independant division with his own loyal people, a really dumb choice. Tai Lung or Loki would not be able to start a coup, Loki's army was not Asgardian.
So here are the parallels with the Uchiha and the Noldor I also talked about before, with Madara (and Sasuke and even Itachi) and Feanor as the parallels to Xanxus
Noldor did rebel and were fairly sucesful at the beginning, they did leave and got independance.
Xanxus did rebel, but got stopped.
The Uchiha didn't even got the change to fail a rebellion
I have Zero Idea where I am going, but if anyone have a opinion about this, please share
Also, on the political side, Timoteo's plan is similar to Empress Violet (from Caught by the Villain) with Leto and Norlin with Jenna (from The Princess Plot - the Scandia Series by Kirsten Boie):
The Current Heir is your enemy, so you get a spare heir out of nowhere that you can manipulate and usurp you enemy heir
Norlin and Violet are more like Iemitsu because the kids are his Hidden Secret Daughter and her Missing Long Lost Son, respectively.
While Tsuna is his spare kid Iemitsu had so the bloodline won't die out
This plot is kinda similar to what Suren from Stolen Heir seens planning in doing with Oak? Marry him and challenge Jude and Cardan? In theory at least.
Added here because thats is something I can see Xanxus doing, find some random person of Vongola Bloodline (mostly likely a Sawada) to marry and legimate his claim
While this would fit my other blog @the-flower-named-fire better, since this is more KHR focused and I have a fandom blog, I am posting it here

4 23 26 for reborn himsself if thats his name THE BABY. for 26 my question is please summarize the most emotional secene for his character and why you chose it but please only reffer to him as "The Baby" throughout. thanks.
YOU'RE NOT EVEN A KHR FAN. GET OUTTA HERE. SIGHH. Okay. Sure, anything for you, tumblr user noxiatoxia.
4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?
.. I'd like to see The Baby in some sort of crime or mystery drama. He's a hitman, so I think he'd be an interesting character who would help solve the murders while also being a criminal himself. An anti-hero if you will.
23. Favorite picture of this character?
This one's hard. The Baby has a lot of good photos. He's exceptionally good at cosplay and so hes always well dressed with a SMILE. I do think The Baby looks great in his adult form, but I know for a fact that's not what you want. That being said, I think YOU'LL like this one.
The Baby is gathering his Power..
26) So, it has to do with my favorite chapter in the entire series. "Failure as a home tutor" chapter 390 if you even care. So, you see, we find out in previous chapters that The Baby is a sacrifice in order to keep the world balance. That he was lied to and deceived with 6 other babies. You see, The Baby is cursed to have this form we see throughout the series. He is told by the person who put him like this that he can be released from this curse through what is essentially referred to as the Representative War. The one who cursed him is known as 'Checkerface' real name: Unknown. When the option of becoming uncursed comes up, The Baby asks for his student, Sawada Tsunayoshi, to be his representative as The Baby is not actually allowed to fight Bc He's Too Strong. There are other representatives, it's a whole thing. BUT, DUN DUN. A third party, the Vindice, show up to join the representative war. They tell our group that Checkerface is a liar, that he is not going to free The Baby from the curse, rather this whole thing is another one of his schemes in order to collect NEW babies as the current ones, The Baby included, are growing weaker. They reveal themselves to be FORMER BABIES, who checkerface abandoned once he had no longer had use for them, but rather then laying down and dying, their spite kept them alive. For years, they have been waiting for their opportunity to exact revenge on Checkerface for what he did to them. From their years of observation of Checkerface's actions, they say that the only opportunity to attack Checkerface is that moment where he appears to take their pacifiers (You will see pacifier described in the picture above, The Baby's pacifier is yellow, but others have different colors, seven exact.) and give them to the next generation of babies.
So, with all this information given to us, Vindice give The Baby the option to join them. They inform him and Tsuna though, that no matter what he does though, he will die. If he teams up with them, they will destroy the baby system and he will die. But, if he doesn't and they fail to stop Checkerface at this moment, when the curse is removed from The Baby, he will die. The choice was his what he wanted to go down doing. In a moment of bitterness, infront of Vindice and Tsuna, The Baby smiles, "Ever since I became like this, I never expected to die a decent death."
This upsets Tsuna, he attempts to argue that that a solution that results in everyone's death like this can't be the only thing to do about it. Tsuna is promptly attacked by the Vindice, and as a result, The Baby refuses to join their side. The leader of the Vindice, Bermuda, informs him that regardless of whether or not The Baby accepts his invitation, he's going to burn in hell. They are allowed to leave, to which Tsuna attempts to show The Baby that they're still in this fight and they can figure something out. The Baby says that he can't win, neither against Bermuda or Checkerface. Forlorn, The Baby tells him that Tsuna doesn't have to die for their sake. To give him back the proof that he is his representative, and that he won't be mad at him for backing out of this fight.
Tsuna doesn't accept this, and behind The Baby's back, starts to gather everyone to form a plan to resolve this without sacrificing The Baby and the other 6. He runs around tirelessly at night, asking everyone to join his side for the battle, to put aside the fact that they were all on different teams in this representative battle and to help him through this. He tells the other six babies that are involved to join him, and everything genuinely seems to setting in place. All that's left is to convince The Baby and fight the actual battle.
So, in comes chapter 390, failure as a home tutor. The Baby catches Tsuna out and asks him why he's skipping class and if he thinks as his tutor he'll accept that. To which Tsuna gets pissed, because The Baby continues to act casually in face of his death. He starts to shout at him, all of the emotions that he's held in for so long. That The Baby has irreversibly messed up his life, forced him to do all sorts of embarrassing things he wouldn't have done before, and has been the cause of all these battles that had come his way. But.. even then, all of those changes, they weren't all bad. He found himself thinking often that he was glad to have gotten The Baby as his tutor. And yet, when The Baby had done so much for Tsuna. Changed his life for the better, and helped him make all these friends that he could turn to, and have all these fun times that they're fighting to return to. The Baby was the one who taught him to never give up without trying, to never just accept something how it is and to fight for your life and the people in it. Despite that.. "Why did you say that you never expected to die a decent death?! Have you been thinking something like that by my side this whole time? You're a failure as a home tutor! This time, I'll teach you.." And in Tsuna's flurry of emotions, his voice catches in his throat, and he sits upon the stairs of Namimori shrine. The Baby silently takes the seat next to him, time passes, and Tsuna composes himself. "Reborn?.."
"Hm..?"
"I'm not going to let you die."
#noxia asks#KJENGAWKHNEAHNJ#WATCH ME BE FUCKING INSANE AND EXPLAIN KHR TO A NON-KHR FAN#FUCKKKKK#I GOT SO INVESTED IN THAT#THIS IS WHAT “Failure as a home tutor” DOES TO ME#WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT CHAPTER#IT WAS SO GOOD#THATS NOT EVEN INCLUDING THE “JUST TRY AND TAKE THE BOSS WATCH AWAY FROM ME”#SCENE THAT HAPPENS AFTER THIS#GODDD#KATEKYO FUCKING HITMAN REBORN

Please just don't make Ms. Connector mad. I beg of you. She's going to go apeshit if you even try to hurt Ms. Paradox—
yuri!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think about these two a lot ughhhhhhh silly re: master 15 yuri
———
Tsunagite couldn't understand it.
What kind of hatred can one have towards someone over something they did in the past that could end up leading them to do...
...Whatever this is?
It's quite daring for someone to attempt a murder—let alone a murder that is directed to a former Goddess like Pandora Paradox. It happened nonetheless, and Pandora was thankfully enough quick to avoid the tragic fate of death.
(Not like she can actually die, though.)
However, that is with a cost.
"A-ah...Pandora..." Tsunagite forced out, watching her friend slowly bleed out from her side. Pandora groaned upon feeling herself bleed—she didn't like this feeling. Not at all, not one bit. It sort of makes her feel...vulnerable, in a sense, and as someone who used to be The One Who Transcends All, Pandora didn't like feeling vulnerable.
"Gah...this is literally nothing. At the very least—" The former Goddess winced in pain. "—try harder...!" By the time she said that, however, the one person who attempted to kill her already ran away as fast as they could. "...Damnit." Pandora then cursed.
While Pandora could only silently process what had happened, Tsunagite was...
...
...
Furious.
Maybe even more than furious, if there even is a word to describe such a feeling.
Outraged?
...Maybe.
"...Tsuna?"
Pandora called, but no response came from the mentioned person. She looked up, before finally seeing Tsunagite clenching her fists. "Tsuna?? Wha- hey." Pandora made an attempt to get up, but that was pretty much to no use. "Look- I'm fine. It's not like I'm going to die or anything. Whether I'm still a Goddess or not, I won't die—"
"They'll fucking pay."
In an instant, Tsunagite ran off, startling Pandora. "Huh- Tsuna?!" Pandora called again, but obviously, it doesn't seem like the other woman will stop in her tracks anytime soon. "...Damn. She fucking swore. That's insane."
...
"I wish I recorded that."
———
It took awhile, but Tsunagite managed to find the culprit at last.
Now here she is, pinning them against a wall, with one hand laced around their throat, and her other hand pretty much ready to finish this person once and for all.
"P-please- let go of-" A cough. "-me!" Tsunagite coldly looked at them, before sighing. "Do you really think you're going to escape this?" The person simply shook their head, but still tried to pry Tsunagite's hand off of their neck.
"Yeah. That's right. Now...run off again, and I'll make sure you fucking pay." Tsunagite threatened, before adding, "This is what happens when you try to hurt one of my loved ones. I'm not going to lose them at the hands of some stupid fucking pest like you."
"Y-yes- now- please let go of me- guh!"
"Not so fast. I'm not letting go of you yet until I'm fully sure you won't run away from me again the moment I do so."
"I- I genuinely can't—"
"Tsuna!"
That familiar voice calling her name managed to make Tsunagite unintentionally let go of the person who dared to try to hurt Pandora. They could only fall onto the ground and desperately gasp for air as Tsunagite quickly turned around to look at whoever called her.
"Ah- Pandora?! Wh- why are you-" "Oh shut up, you...! I swear on god. I'm not going to let you hurt some random civilian just because they tried to kill me!" Pandora quickly cut off Tsunagite's sentence, and eventually, she ended up continuously scolding her while the person who tried to hurt the former Goddess earlier could only watch in confusion.
"Sorry, sorry! I just- they tried to hurt you!"
"Even if I want them gone, I would've executed them on the spot myself, Tsuna!"
"I know...I'm sorry..."
———
Maybe "love" is the one thing that pushed the one who wants to connect to others to do what she wanted to do.
Maybe "love" is the one thing that made her worry for the former Goddess to begin with.
Maybe "love" is the one thing that made her care.
Tsunagite's sure of that.
But now she feels bad, knowing that this isn't exactly what Pandora wanted her to do.
Maybe she's just too devoted to someone who was going to end the world mere centuries ago.
But even then, Tsunagite can't really feel any sort of regret either.
Now—if only Pandora wouldn't have stopped her.
...But that's also too cruel.
Not like Tsunagite can care much at that time, anyways.

🩸 ...bleeding out. (For Chrome to find Gokuder or Mukuro bleeding out, your choice, from the whump masterlist.)
It had been days since Tsuna gave Mukuro a mission and things have so far gone as planned. Chrome obediently stayed behind in the hotel. Mukuro would check on her in their dreamscape to give her the updates, and she would report them to Tsuna. Again, things were going well, until a couple of days ago.
Mukuro did not look very good as he visited the dreamscape. He did not appear pristine. A bruise was beginning to form on his very spirit within the serene astral plane. He gave Chrome one cryptic message, and then he was gone. She repeated it to Tsuna who had gone pale on video call.
Chrome lifted her brows before furrowing them in frustration. She hated to be kept in the dark, but there was nothing she could do but wait for orders from Tsuna. “Boss, is there something you’re not telling me?”
“I…” the Tenth stated.
“The mission can’t be disclosed, yet you put me on standby. Mind filling me in?” Chrome asked. “Mukuro-sama doesn’t usually send me urgent messages like that unless he’s in trouble.”
Tsuna looked as if he wanted to say something, but Gokudera butted in.
“Chrome, we’re doing all we can to locate Mukuro, can you please be patient?” Gokudera asked but regretted it when he saw Mist flames engulfing her.
“Mukuro-sama’s message states he’s clearly in danger, send me the coordinates. I’m nearby, or I’ll bribe Viper to,” Chrome calmly stated, narrowing her visible eye. Her eyes skimmed Tsuna’s silhouette before Tsuna replied.
“Very well, I’ll send you the coordinates.”
Three hours later after the video conference, Mukurou arrived battered but holding its box and the Mist ring. Chrome’s eye widened. Without a moment’s notice, she prepared for the mission to rescue Mukuro. Fastening her secondary box weapons to her waist along with the one she shared with Mukuro, she hurried out the door. Nodded to the guardsmen on duty, and hurried down the corridor of the luxury hotel.
--
It was hours and a tough battle since, and Chrome pushed herself off the floor. She let out a small grunt as she noticed her stomach caving in. She could feel the warm liquid trickle down the side of her lips. Her eyesight was dimming. She hovered a hand over her imploding stomach and stabilized her organs. Chrome wiped the blood from her lips and continued going as Mukurou pointed the way.
Her eyes widened when she saw a figure lying in a pool of blood. His dark blue hair fanned out behind him. His eyes closed. Chrome stepped forward but stopped. He was in a bad state, but there was a possibility the enemy was luring her into a trap. Chrome’s one eye closed and opened before she pulled out Chandra’s box. She held the box as a flaming moth spread its wings and fluttered a fan of Mist flame sparks around Mukuro.
The moth’s flames would be the foundation of an illusion and buy her time to stabilize Mukuro. Chrome entered the illusion and knelt next to Mukuro after proving the body was not a trap, but the real Mukuro. She had to work quickly. She could not tell when he was this hurt, but he did not have much time left.
“Don’t you dare die on me, Mukuro-sama,” she says.
Luckily, she knew a little bit of medicine thanks to her condition. The man had lost a lot of blood. Chrome checked Mukuro’s vitals before she stabilized him with some of Chandra’s flames and her own. Chrome shrugged out of her coat and tied it around Mukuro as a tourniquet. She sent coordinates via radio to headquarters.

For your game: How about 5986 as pairing? ;3 (Hi, I've been a sucker for them ever since I know khr)
[My KHR ship game] ||Accepting|| @alexandraxsuoh Note: This is me just talking. I'm not even talking about RP. ((Thank you for indulging me btw!))
Readmore bc yuh.
-
Hate it | Am Neutral to it | Ship it | love it! |
-
Even if it's sort of a lie to say, this was my 'first' KHR ship! Tsuna x Haru doesn't count because the anime lied to me. I was led astray.
I've mentioned it in older meme replies in the past, but the reason why I adore 5986 so much is because I did lil baby cosplays of Haru many eons ago (i'd rather die before posting the pics here) and one of my friends who got me into KHR cosplayed as Gokudera. She happened to like 5986 so I was the Haru to her Gokudera ekekek.
That friend won't see it, so kekek I can admit here that I did have a crush on said friend years ago ahahahahaha
Back on topic.
Aside from the nostalgic appeal, I do really like the ship in general. There are different ways of looking at a character, but this game is just about how I see the character on the basis of if they were to ship with Haru. In essence I’m just having fun, no Gokudera mun attacky me please. Yes yes? Good good.
The appeal of a Gokudera and Haru ship is… I’d say, in the ‘gap moe’ kind of vibe you get. Gokudera and Haru are both intelligent characters, but one of them is not so emotionally intelligent. Admittedly, Haru isn’t very emotionally intelligent either you could argue with the way that she, for the life of her, couldn’t see that Tsuna didn’t like her. HOWEVER, I like to assert that Haru did know. She just wanted to keep trying and hope that her efforts would bear fruit.
I get this from the one character song of hers and it kills me because she be like ‘I’m okay with being a shadow woman’. THE HELL YOU WILL! GO IN THE CORNER!
So, I think that if a 5986 ship was going to happen, it really is Haru realizing things first and Gokudera being late to the party because emotionally dumbass onion over here. Why onion? He’s a dude with a lot of layers, ofc! He’s outwardly a grouch, and has violent tendencies, but we’ve also seen him be able to be polite (ie Tsuna or Reborn). He can be rude to girls, but he’s never actually caused any physical harm to them, that shows a level of restraint.
Secondly, we know that he’s a more logical minded person whereas Haru is more emotionally minded, but she’s still got a logical side to her as well. One thing that I like about Haru is that no matter how much she likes/loves a person, the moment they touch upon a moral bomb, she will be willing to drop them like a sack of potatoes. Here is where the logical side also comes through, where she will not act in a burst of emotions at first. She will at least go and investigate. Did this person actually touch upon the moral bomb? Was there a reason for their actions?
I do like to think that some of this was influenced by the fact that she straight up smacked the hell out of Tsuna (twice, I think?) for him ‘teaching Reborn-chan’ how to play Mafia. Kekek. Turns out it was the opposite. I like to think that from that she’s learned- okay stop reacting so emotionally and investigate.
Gokudera is very logical minded where he just looks at the facts, but he’s also got a strong emotional component to him as well. That’s how he mirrors Haru. She’s emotional but also logical on the downlow. He’s very logical but also very emotionally charged as well. I like that they mirror each other. He is smart, he cares for logistics, he cares for the facts, but even with all that- he is loyal to what he likes. He doesn’t care if Tsuna is a dame-Tsuna. He doesn’t care if his boss isn’t smart- he can be smart for them. It doesn’t matter if Tsuna isn’t very charismatic, or that he isn’t very sociable.
It doesn’t matter to him how the majority may see his boss because HE sees his boss for what he is and what he could be. He has confidence that his boss will pull through. His boss will show the deniers where they are wrong.
In this way, Haru and Gokudera balance each other well. When she starts getting too emotional (ie her dramatics) he can bring her back to reality. He can calm her down with the logics. Being the more emotionally intelligent one, she can notice when he’s overworking himself, trying to do too much on his own, demeaning himself as lesser/unimportant/etc, she can and WILL snap him out of that. She will actively do her best to have him see the opposite.
He IS important, he has a place with the Vongola, he is wanted. She is a very caring person and would look out for him. Make sure that he takes care of himself, or she’ll do it for him. In a way, it’s one of those classic cases of how a guy who hasn’t had many to care for him in his life suddenly has someone who cares. It’s weird at first, foreign and almost scary- but it’s also nice? It’s comforting, he finds. Slowly, comes to realize you know what? I feel something for this person and it is something I haven’t felt before. Time skip and it’s either the guy finally realizes and says something or it’s the girl who is confessing first and the guy is ????????????????
I LOVE THE TROPE, OKAY? I love self-realization but I also love DUMB ASS BOYS WHO DON’T KNOW THEIR OWN HEART AND NEEDED A CONFESSION TO SLAP REALITY INTO THEM. AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh Both are good. Very good. I like.
Haru has a competitive streak to her, and I think the fact that he’s really intelligent is a good drive for her. She’s also a really loyal person, and she’s very dedicated and motivated. So, she likes that Gokudera has the same traits as her. It’s an admirable thing.
Admittedly, she doesn’t like how he bullies Lambo. Doesn’t like how he smokes, but it can be seen in the series that he does bully Lambo less as the series goes on. You can argue that a lot of it is just roughhousing as guys do and just him not knowing how to treat young kids. From the Yamamoto scene in TYL arc where they both fight Gamma, Gokudera is quite open to criticism. He’s open to admitting where he’s wrong. He can understand and then try to fix it. It shows that he’s a progressive person who always aims for self-betterment and that is a quality that Haru would probably notice and like.
It would be something that is the reason why she is so tolerant of him. She can SEE that he is making efforts. He is trying. There are moments where he shows that he can care for others as well. He will protect anyone from the famiglia despite the dangers it poses to himself. It really shows that despite his act, he actually cares a lot more than he lets on. He may be a bit awkward to show it (that’s how Haru would see it, anyways).
From the Haru Haru interview segment, she says that she likes a guy with a dangerous charm, sometimes cool, and it’s like bro. Is that… not like the majority of the KHR cast MINUS Tsuna? AHAHAHAHAHH jk. Tsuna can fit the bill in HDW mode.
Haru also seems to exhibit the desire to be useful or to not be a burden. She likes to be there for others. She likes to help others. Gokudera seems to have the image of being a lone wolf, but it can also be seen when he’s so proactive with Tsuna that he too wants to be helpful. This likely stems from the case of him trying to prove himself as something. He wants to show the world that he could be something. That he has a place. That people want him around.
They are similar in ways, but differ largely in the motives. They’re very similar in many ways despite how they would argue otherwise. It’s the fact that they understand eachother well that Gokudera would probably know that Haru doesn’t want to talk about things in regards to her unrequited feelings for Tsuna. Let her go through all the motions herself. Don’t pity her. Just let nature take the course. I don’t see him as the type to pity her, but perhaps one to watch over her as she’s getting hurt. He would try to be there to support her.
I personally do not think he’d pity her. I, for the purpose of this game, if they were to be a ship, I think he’d feel a level of admiration of sorts to how far she was willing to go. Despite the pain and how hurt her sense of self became, she did her best. She did all that she could to appeal. She didn’t give up. It’s not an easy thing to do. That is why I don’t think he’d pity her. In the way that she’d like it, he’d turn an eye to it but still make comments because he’s just like that lol.
In the secret bullet (I think that’s what they were called) novels, there is one where at the end of it, Haru tells him the truth about the ‘curse’ or whatever and he’s like why did you tell me the truth? You could’ve kept it a secret and she was like well it’s because you’re hurt. Tsuna-san wouldn’t like it if you got hurt any more. Yeah of course it is because of the tenth and then she be like I care about you too AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
AND THEN HE WENT FULL TSUNDERE!!!!!! AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND WHAT THAT DOES TO ME!!!! He full sent tsundere like omg you idiot. IDiOTTT SHUT UP.
AHH!H!!L!L!HLKDJFLAKJSDf I WILL SMASH MY FOOT THROUGH THE DOOR LET ME BE A FLY ON THE WALL TO HAVE SEEN IT!!!!!!
I swear to GOD if he blushed at all and she saw that? Haru is a tease, I will die on this hill. She has a bit of a troll personality and she does like to be a lil sassy sometimes. I promise you, I SWEAR, she would’ve been like oho? Is he blushing? How cute!
Locked in. YOU ARE GONNA BE TEASED EVERY SO OFTEN. She loves it.
Of course, knowing who Gokudera is, he too has a bit of a competitive spirit. The moment he realizes oh? She’s teasing me to get a reaction out of me? Two can play at that. But!!!!! HARU IS WEAK TO THAT, OKAY? YOU. DON’T. UNDER.STANDDDDDDD1111111!!!!!!!!1!
I swear on my life, the day he teases her back because he got annoyed with it and she blushes??????? GAME OVER. IT’S AN OH- that’s kinda cute. WAIT. Why do I find that cute? Tease her again and she’s just alksdjflaksjdlkfajslf STOP TEASING ME!
LOOK- I’m just saying. I think he’d find it cute. So then it just becomes a game to them almost where they just keep trying to get the other to react and others just see it like bro. You say that you aren’t dating and you aren’t being serious? That’s a lie.
Haru and Gokudera are both strongly opinionated and aren’t afraid to speak their mind. The day anyone has shit to say about the other one, they are about to throw hands. You talking shit? Say hi to my friend, EAT THIS FIST. That’s the energy.
I won’t say power couple because that’s not the vibe, I don’t think, but it certainly is a ‘a couple that I didn’t think would work based off visuals but then I noticed how strong their understanding of eachother was and realized oh… they’re actually kind of perfect for each other.’ vibe. A long title, yes I know.
So ye those are my thoughts. I also said I’d maybe throw in other things that I thought would be cute, eh? Hmmmmmmm
I mean, I will die on the hill that I swear Haru will request the box animals to be let out often so they can also relax and enjoy life. Haru starting off with approaching Gokudera to see Uri as the convenient excuse to spend time with him.
IMAGINE? The day he’s just ‘Uri is a bit tired today you may want to see her another day’ and she just- ‘Oh, that’s a shame. Haru was using Uri was an excuse to spend time with you but… if you aren’t busy, can Haru spend time with you?’ LOOK. I NEED THIS AND I WANT THIS? OKAY?????? OKAY.
Just like how I need to see Haru making Gokudera fold by a lil puppy pout. Like pleaaaseeee can you put on these cat ears that I made? I want to see it. Will you really say no? PLEEAASSEE? And he always caves. I NEED IT. I NEED IT!!!!
I die for the idea that she knows where he works so she sometimes visits him just to see his face and sometimes talk to the owner of the store because she’s a networking bean. Sometimes she can stick around long enough for him to get off work and so they can walk together at night. I will cry if there is the classic jacket over shoulders deal because she looked cold. I WILL DIE!!!!!
Ive also entertained the idea that sometimes he’d mutter things under his breath and Haru for the longest time thought he was probably complaining or saying something mean. Lambo just one day “Eh? You thought he’s saying mean things about you? He’s always saying how you’re too cute. Sometimes he says that he can’t handle how pretty your smile is’’.
BETTER YET, the alternative is that she did some studying on her own and realizes that he’s complimenting her because he didn’t have the guts to say it to her face and then one day she compliments him back. Watch as the shock dawns on him and then the horror settles in like how much did you understand before you revealed this information? Haru be like: “Oh I don’t know~ Haru doesn’t know anything about how you find her cute or that you like her smile. Haru knows nothing~”
KILL MEEEEEEEE.
Basically, they’re a very fun dynamic where I swear they could tease each other a lot and it’s almost like a game to them. I like it. Okay? Okay.

it’s me, giving y’all an Among Us AU fic I wrote in November last year and couldn’t post bc it was long and gore and needed a read more anyway here we are
character/s: sawada tsunayoshi, cavallone dino
word count: 1,190
warnings: huh. so. blood, gore, body disfigurement, body horror, violence and injury, cannibalism (?? yeah??), vomiting, removal of limbs, self-harm, it’s nasty
prompt: dino was like his brother, and tsuna would always admire him for that (among us au)
Something in the air wasn’t right.
Tsuna couldn’t put his finger on it, exactly, but it wasn’t comfortable. It was so stuffy, but it was also so cold. He almost found it hard to breathe.
He’d been pushed so hard these days to look after his crew, but now that he had free time, he almost didn’t want to be alone. It was too quite.
“Oh, Tsuna! There you are-!”
Tsuna physically jumped at the echo of another voice behind him, only vaguely noticing he’d been so out of it he hadn’t even heard their footsteps.
Dino snorted a little at just how skittish Tsuna was, dropping a hand on his shoulder. “You alright? I’ve been looking for you, and you’re off walking around on your own.”
The brunet blanched at this. His self-titled brother was always one who did like to poke fun at him, just a bit. But, he could always trust Dino.
“I’m fine, I’m fine... What are you doing here?”
Dino blinked his honey eyes, humming a little curiously at Tsuna’s question.
“Have I ever needed a reason? I just wanted to make sure you were doing alright!”
Dino proceeded to drone on and one about how Tsuna worried him, how he needed to ensure the younger was doing okay with his new title, make sure that everyone was healthy and doing well.
Still, the air felt so stale when he breathed.
The blond seemed to notice the blank expression on Tsuna’s face, trailing off to inspect him a little closer.
He squeezed Tsuna’s shoulder firmly, leaning down to try and meet his eyes.
“Hey. Somethin’ on your mind?”
It took a moment for Tsuna to zone back in, and when he did he was met with so much warmth and concern that he almost choked up.
Dino was always so wonderful.
“It’s just...” Tsuna shrugged warily, averting his gaze. “I’ve just got this feeling that something is off, but I’m not sure what it is...”
Dino’s usual sparkling hues blanked out into pools of umber.
Still, Tsuna waved his hands around and continued.
“It’s weird. Everything just feels so weird, and I feel almost sick, but...” The rest died on his tongue, feeling fingers dig so harshly into his shoulder.
His attention shot back to Dino, inspecting his features for a moment. He felt his stomach drop.
“Ah, Dino-san...?”
Despite the one hand on his shoulder, he could hear the cracking of bones and feel the drag of fingertips across his back until they met his other shoulder.
Tsuna had frozen. Sweat was accumulating on his brow, and he was too scared to turn his head to look to his side, afraid of what would happen if he stopped holding eye contact with the blond in front of him.
The shaky breath that left him seemed to set something off in Dino, and the brunet watched with wide eyes, horror keeping him glued to the spot as he watched his friend’s head snap to the side and hit his shoulder so harshly it made him gag.
With a low, deep creak that came from bones deep in his torso, his body shifted and his head shot backwards, now hanging limply.
Tsuna couldn’t help the short croak he let out, watching as his torso grew in height before the uniform at the left of his waist tore open, skin and flesh slowly tearing away to reveal row after row of razor sharp teeth.
The sight of flesh falling away and hitting the floor with a wet noise had Tsuna gagging once more before lurching back, further into the boney hold of Dino’s hand.
Slowly the rows of teeth started to open, widening the nasty stretch of skin against the force of it, tugging at his chest and twisting tattoos until they were no longer distinguishable.
Tears blurred Tsuna’s vision when a tongue poked out and ran over pearly whites, accepting the damage the sharp points did to it, blood flowing into its own mouth and down the hip of its host.
“I thought you were pretty good, Tsuna.”
It sounded like Dino, but it was so twisted that it made Tsuna flinch back and throw his arms up and over his face protectively. Finally, his body gave way and he started trembling
“But, you were too good. Too sharp. Look at where that got you.”
If he peeked through his messy fringe, his tears and his arms, he’d have been able to see the mouth open so far that it basically tore Dino’s entire torso in half, almost a disgusting and ragged split right across.
Maybe even worse, staring down at the ground to avoid the sight before him, he had to come face to face with the limp upper body and the face of his once brother.
Tsuna’s legs gave out the moment the monster’s ones cracked sickeningly to the sides before stretching like its hands, flesh pulling and ripping to make room.
“A-Ah...”
The drag of sharp, pointed fingertips dragging across metal had Tsuna hunching over and vomiting, unable to hold it in any longer.
Despite the stench, he kept staring down at his lap, tear unending.
He was going to die.
“Scared?”
It’s voice was like nails on a chalkboard. He couldn’t stand it.
His lips pulled back and a pathetic whimper echoed back when it’s tongue slowly caressed the side of his face.
Disgusting, disgusting—
The monster watched curiously as the teen’s hands flung up to his cheek where he’d been licked, and dug his nails in as hard as possible, before tanking as hard as he could.
He scratched until his cheek was raw, and red, and kept going until he bled and skin piled up under his nails.
Disgusting.
“You’re losing it. I was hoping you’d last a little longer.”
Tsuna’s head shot up when one of his arms was gently grabbed, his mind reeling. This wasn’t meant to be happening–
“No, n-no...! No, no—!”
It hurt. His arm was being pulled on, with no restraint, and it hurt so bad. He could feel the joint starting to strain-
“Stop! Please, stop—!”
‘Pop’.
A sharp cry tugged from his throat, and his body lurched back while his free hand shot to his shoulder instinctively. But it kept pulling. It kept on pulling on it. It wouldn’t stop.
Everything was a haze after the initial breaking of his arm, but the burn he felt when his arm was removed was so indescribable.
He’d absolutely blacked out, for a short moment, in the sudden shock and pain of it all.
He wished he’d have stayed that way.
But his eyes betrayed him, and they opened, and they came face to face with the mouth of this monster, his own arm hanging out between its teeth.
The scream he let out was so loud and unhinged, he didn’t think he was even capable of making it. Now he didn’t think he was capable of ever stopping.
Despite all the cries of pain from Tsuna, the monster seemed to grin, muscles and loose flesh pulling tight with the motion.
“Thank you for the meal.”

Hm, the Tsunade singing 'Who lives, who dies, who tells your story' seems interesting, may I request that please?
absolutely!! i love your writing and i'm so glad you wanted to request something of mine!!
***
who tells your story
ao3
words: 1.6k
angst, mention of canon death, war era
***
Despite the intense battles surrounding her, she was unable to move. It really did seem like he was there, right in front of her. Was she dying? Was this heaven? If it was, she had no complaints. No one could ever accuse her of not doing her part on behalf of the village. She deserved to rest after the hells she had seen and been through, and if this was it, she would welcome it.
And then his touch was so real, and it was him, and she could feel the pain in her body that told her she was awake and alive but god if he wasn’t, too.
***
“Who’s that, dattebayo?” Naruto asked, nudging Chouza and gesturing toward the pair.
He allowed a grim smile, fond memories overpowering the knowledge that this reunion would be temporary.
“Lady Tsunade’s fiancé. That’s Dan Kato. One of the finest shinobi the Leaf ever had, and one of the biggest pains in the administration’s ass I had the honor of knowing.”
Before Naruto could interject with any other questions, Kakashi stepped forward and held him back with a hand on his shoulder.
“Listen. Let me tell you what we all wished we had known when we were your age, fighting in our first war.” The serious tone he maintained was enough to keep the antsy shinobi at attention. “You want to be in all these cool fights, and everyone wants to die a hero, but at the end of the day, what makes you a hero in history is who tells your story.”
He swallowed hard, surprising himself with the emotion that had suddenly forced itself to the surface. “Remember when we talked about the White Fang on the way back from Suna last year?”
Naruto nodded, uncertain where the conversation was going.
“He did great things for the village, and he died, and to some people, he’s a hero. To some people, he isn’t. The difference is in who’s talking about him. What happened is fact, and that can’t be changed. But his story can only be told by whoever lives.”
“Yeah, and you told us that he was a hero, and you took us to his grave that one time, remember?” Naruto thought back to that first day on the training grounds where his sensei had brought them to the memorial stone and explained the significance of the names engraved in its marble surface. “What’s that got to do with him?” he asked, pointing firmly at the man in front of the Hokage.
Kakashi took a beat before responding. “He died, Naruto. And for a long time, we didn’t get to know his story because there wasn’t someone who could tell it.” He focused in on Tsunade’s face, seeing the shock, confusion, and love displayed like a bakery shelf. “It’s only been in the last few years that his story has been explored.”
***
Tsunade shook, her mouth slightly agape. “It’s really… Dan?”
He smiled, rushing forward to hold her. They embraced, her covered in dirt, sweat, and blood, and him bathed in a warm glow. She continued to shake, her body wracked with emotion.
“Were you—did Kabuto—”
“Don’t worry, love,” he reassured her, brushing her hair behind her ear over and over. “Just focus on the moment, okay? I don’t know how much longer I can maintain the jutsu.”
She agreed, letting herself sink into his body. It had been so long, and yet he still felt like a home she had always been trying to find since she had had to move away.
After a few beats, Dan pulled himself back slightly to ask the question that refused to leave his head.
“Chouza—he said you became Hokage? Is that true? I was able to watch over you for the first few years after I—you know. I thought you left the village with Shizune. Traveled, healed others, caused lots of trouble. Tsuna, you came back to the Leaf?”
She took a couple of steps back, wiped the tears off her face, and stood tall.
“I put myself back in the narrative, Dan. I got a reminder of what you, what we were fighting for, and I stopped wasting time and got my ass in gear.” She flipped her ponytail off her shoulder, feeling it settle in the middle of her back. Her confidence returned to her along with her smile as she explained.
“I led some late-stage recovery efforts to find bodies lost in the war that still hadn’t come back to us. They’re almost all back now, we’re missing less than a dozen fallen shinobi. And the work you did on getting one medic on every team of four—we’re almost there. My four youngest teams on the battlefield today, two of them have medics that trained directly with me. You’d be proud of Sakura, Dan.
You really wrote so many grant applications and proposals to change our shinobi education system. It took me a while to get through them, but I’m putting everything in place now. You really did write like you knew you wouldn’t have long to get it all on paper,” she finished, feeling the bittersweet sting set in.
She cleared her throat and continued. “I rely so much on Shizune. She’s led efforts in telling the stories of shinobi who fell in the Third Great War so that no one will be forgotten. She visits your grave almost as often as Kakashi visits his old teammates. She actually just got done fighting with the caretaker to make sure she has the burial plot next to yours. I don’t have any idea what I would do without her, honestly. When I needed her most, she was right on time.”
“There’s more,” Tsunade brushed another stray tear away. “I ask myself all the time what you would do if you had lived, if you had had more time. Thinking about that is how I get my best ideas. Like fundraising for the memorial stone—the Leaf had just been mourning all these fallen comrades, and building the tribute to them gave more hope in the shinobi population that they would be remembered and respected, no matter what. That someone would tell their story.”
“Tsunade—that’s incredible,” Dan began, crossing over to wrap her in a hug again. “I can’t believe you’re making all these changes we wanted to see in the village! The next generation will benefit so much—”
“I know, I know, but have I done enough? Can I ever do enough? There are so many tragedies in the Leaf, and I’m only one person, Dan. I don’t have you.” She leaned in to his embrace, feeling the tears begin to choke her throat again. He again tucked her hair away, pressing a gentle kiss to the top of her head.
After a moment, she pulled back. “Can I tell you what I’m proudest of, out of all that?”
He nodded immediately. “You can tell me anything, Tsuna.”
Her face softened in a way he had never quite seen it before. She seemed to be drinking in his expression, trying to save his coming reaction in her memory forever.
“I established the first orphanage in Konohagakure.”
Dan’s jaw audibly popped as it fell open.
“It’s only a couple of years old, and Shizune and I researched the staff there so thoroughly it’s a wonder they accepted the position, but it’s a real orphanage. I visit as often as I can. I’m helping to raise all these children, and they’re growing up, and I can see Nawaki in them, and you, Dan, I see you every time I see the will of fire in their eyes, there’s this little one who talks about being Hokage—”
She was cut off by Dan crushing her into a hug. “Thank you, Tsuna,” he whispered into her shoulder. “Thank you.”
His presence flickered, and she grabbed on to him tighter, trying to anchor him. Tears began to roll down his lean face as he gave her a squeeze and leaned back, not letting go.
“I can’t hold the jutsu much longer, love. But you need to stay here—you’ve got so many amazing and beautiful things to do here, for the village, for us.”
She worked her fingers into his hair, croaking through a choked voice “It’s only a matter of time before I’ll see you again, right?”
Dan brought her back into the hug, pressing the side of his face against hers. “I can’t wait to see you again, Tsuna. It’s only a matter of time.”
He seemed to fade and flicker again, and they wasted no time in speaking, opting instead to cling to each other and look into the eyes they had missed for so long. When Dan knew his hold on the jutsu had only another moment, he brought himself closer and pulled his fiancée into a last kiss, for now.
Then he was fading, and floating, and Tsunade could at last feel the warmth of him watching over her.
“For you, my love,” she whispered, reaching for the necklace she had given away. Then she caught sight of its recipient, standing on a small hill nearby, and for a moment, she saw Nawaki in his place. He grinned and she felt her heart catch, then she brought her hand back to her side.
“Let’s go, Naruto,” she called out. “We’ve got stories to tell.”

Red strong prompt: arcobaleno/Varia/CEDEF fighting over Godfather rights?
Look, I’m not saying that they don’t want to be responsible for the kid, but more like…
.
“Colonnello, are you busy this weekend?” Reborn asked, then - before Colonnello could answer - he continued. “Never mind, clear your schedule. You’re coming with me to be godfather and to sign the paperwork.”
Colonnello, who had been innocently drinking coffee with Lal, spat it out and tried to hack out his lungs while at the same time run after Reborn, who walked fast.
“Shit, no, you motherfucker don’t you dare kora!” he cursed.
Lal, whose mouth had fallen open after Reborn had dropped several bombs, put down her coffee and tried to stop laughing. It took a while.
In the meantime, Reborn continued onwards his journey, dogged by Colonnello’s shouts.
.
.
Tsuna was determinedly ignoring his Hyper Intuition, who was telling him to open the window, and just doing his paperwork.
After several minutes, Tsuna sighed and opened the window.
Not a moment too soon, and then Reborn entered the office. Tsuna took it as an ominous thing when his tutor slammed the door shut on Colonnello’s face.
“Ah, good morning, Reborn,” Tsuna greeted.
“Tsuna,” Reborn said. “You’re not busy this weekend. Come to my house, we’re making you godfather to the second twin.”
Tsuna realized the reason why his Hyper Intuition wanted the window open.
He started to climb out of it.
Nope.
He was not going to be responsible for that spawn of chaos. It was too much responsibility. If he failed in tempering that chaos, he couldn’t, in good conscience, let it out into the world!
And that was too much pressure!
NO!
The sound of a gun being cocked rang out and Tsuna froze.
It was instinct.
“Are you refusing?” Reborn said softly, like silk sliding over a knife.
Tsuna felt all the hair stand up on his body. If he refused, he knew he would die.
“Nope!” Tsuna felt his mouth say without his input. “I’ll be there to sign the paperwork.”
Reborn smiled. Which. Umm. What.
“That’s great, Hyacinth will be pleased,” the hitman said.
“Why me?” Tsuna asked, short of begging.
Reborn shrugged. “I don’t know why, but Hyacinth said something about…insurance.”
Tsuna thumped his head on the carpeted floor. After a moment, Colonnello joined him.
Both of them stared at the ceiling.
“Fuck, kora,” Colonnello said.
“Shit,” Tsuna said just as blandly.
.
.
Contrary to the godfather situation, Hermione practically glowed when Hyacinth asked.
“Me, to be godmother!” she squealed. “Of course! That would be wonderful!”
Fleur, visiting, pouted. “Not me?” she asked.
“I was going to pick you for the second twin, but Reborn asked me to pick the other godmother from his group,” Hyacinth soothed her. “If I have another child, of course you’re going to be the godmother, Fleur.”
Fleur nodded, appeased. She accepted the second cup of tea gracefully.
Reborn, of course, knew that if Aria wasn’t selected as godmother, there would be hell to pay.
Aria was the master of passive aggressive and would probably make his life a living hell if he forgot her.
“When are you due, Haya?” Hermione asked with some concern. Her friend’s stomach was very big and it was scary, with how slight she was.
“Poppy said next month,” Hyacinth said.
“Isn’t that a bit early?”
“Twins always are,” Fleur interjected with that knowing air of mothers. “Especially with how small you are, Hyacinth.”
Hermione hugged her friend. “You must be worried.”
“That’s why I’m settling the godparent issue now. Reborn is great, but he shouldn’t be alone with a magical child,” Hyacinth whispered.
Fleur hugged her other side. It took a while, but she finally stopped feeling cold.
.
.
“Aria,” Reborn said as he entered her study without warning. “I know you know. Come to the house this weekend.”
Aria stood up and beamed at her godfather. “You remembered! And of course I’ll be there; you couldn’t make me miss it for the world!”
Reborn hugged her and left with a smile.

Just read a HunterxHunter crossover where Reborn hunts Tsuna down half of the story (after he got kidnapped by Estraneo), and Tsuna runs and avoids him, when Reborn finds him Tsuna is like 'now I have to go with him' and goes back to Namimori. I screamed in frustration and stopped reading.
Just because Reborn found Tsuna, don't mean he can keep him. The damn baby show up to train him? Just. Kill. Him. Stuff him into a box and ship him to Quatemala.
We have so many Naruto or HP crossover with OP him brutally fighting everyone, WHAT THE FUCK IS THE PROBLEM WITH THE KHR FANDOM! WHERE IS THE PHYSICAL FIGHTING? FOR FUCK SAKE! WHERE IS OP!HOLLOW TSUNA BEATING REBORN TO THE GROUND? The prideful abusive Arcobaleno deserves to die a painful death. No talking or threats, ITS DOESN'T WORK, not a single word. Just beat or kill him. PLEASE.
@apathyinreverie gets it, his/her description of Reborn's plans is so perfect. Why no one else does? Ichigo would not let Reborn's abuse happen, he would fight, not just talk. Beat this child abuser to the fucking ground.

Hullo hullo Hopes, it's for the ask game ! 4, 23 and 43 ? :O
Hi there, thank you for the ask!
4. Link your three favorite fics right now.
I simply could not only choose three of them, so you get six instead, in no particular order.
come get me by MakeItVoid on ffnet (Katekyo Hitman Reborn).
Reborn waits a little impatiently for someone to come get him. He doesn't know what to do now. The fire is creeping closer. (Reborn doesn't want to die like this.)
It’s a one-shot, with the exact dynamic I reach for in all my Arco fics, and it hits just all the spots for me. Simply cannot recommend it enough.
Just Another Tuesday by ariathal2410 on ffnet (Katekyo Hitman Reborn).
Tsuna doesn't know why all this supernatural shit started happening in his life, but he'd really like it to stop now please. Mild Arco27
OR in which Tsuna attracts too much attention because he's surprisingly good at recognizing supernatural beings (and he's just too cute to resist).
A 10k one-shot where Tsuna is in college, and keeps stumbling upon these supernatural creatures that then just never leave his life. Very domestic fluff like, and never fails to brighten my mood when I need it. Very funny too.
Survivor by atruwriter on ffnet (Harry Potter).
Waiting. He was always waiting. He'd already buried one best friend and now the other will follow. There was nothing he could do or say. There was no Harry without Hermione. Ron witnessed the beginning and now he must accept the end. HHr. 4parts Complete!
It’s been a long time since I reread this one tbh, but as long as you’re a Hhr shipper or just don’t mind the ship? I recommend it a thousand times.
It’s written from Ron’s pov, and is written so well, and I remember having called it a masterpiece after I read it, and I still stand by it. Just a very beautiful fic in all its tragedy.
Sincerely, Scattered Shards by You_Light_The_Sky on ao3 (Katekyo Hitman Reborn).
Tsuna’s the foolish type to give a bit of his heart to anyone he meets. No one ever wanted his ugly heart shards until he met his Guardians. No one ever treasured his heart shards until them either. Hints of All27 and R27.
It’s an ongoing fic, and I don’t remember it in details anymore lol, but just read it. You want to read it. You won’t regret reading it if it seems the type of fic you might like.
It’s beautiful, and sad, and a bit tragic at times, but then Tsuna starts finding his Guardians and it becomes a little better. And worth it.
Those Last Few Memories by Ourliazo on ao3 (Katekyo Hitman Reborn).
In one future, the Arcobaleno band together and try to fight off the Anti Tri-ni-set radiation.
As the author says, “ this story follows their slow descent into death”, and it’s low key fucking heartbreaking, and high key gets you in the feels and makes you want to bawl your eyes out, so really, I can only recommend it asdfgh.
Target Acquired: Wicked Jester by poorasdirt on ao3 (Katekyo Hitman Reborn).
Colonnello has always been a military man. He understood what led to him being cursed. He understood why the others had been cursed. Or, well, why most of the others had been cursed. Skull's motivations had always been a mystery to him. Now that the curse had been lifted, Colonnello could finally sit back and try to puzzle it out. If only it were that easy.
Or Colonnello's instincts were telling him something wasn't right and curiosity only kills cats.
NELLO/SKULL SUPREMACY. Also told in Nello’s pov so Nell-centric. But also entirely about Skull, so Skull-centric. What more do you want??
Azesdfgh ahem, jokes aside. This one is seriously good. Not just because it’s focused first on Nello & Skull relationship (it’s actually a gen fic lol, my bad), or because it has just the right amount of Poly!Arco hinted for us shippers even if it’s platonic/found family.
The fic gives Skull a very in depth and intricate backstory, and for having read my fair share of Skull-centric fics, it’s a very original one. A very mysterious one too, and the fic has a spy/thriller aspect to it that’s very fun to read, as you discover more and more about Skull along with the Arco.
Some of Skull’s backstory also tie with canon worldbuilding the author then expands with their own take on it, and even if it’s a characters driven story, and the plot is only really there first to enhance that fact, it still gets you curious to see it unfold.
And of course the Arco interactions with each other. The fic has a very low key found family vibes fitting to it, but that are very present nonetheless, and feel genuine and heartwarming.
Though there’s some Sky Arco, and specifically Uni and Aria antagonism, but as a Giglio Nero stan myself, it’s not present enough you can’t overlook it if you try.
So if you like Skull and/or Colonnello and/or found family Arco and you didn’t read the fic yet? Don’t wait any longer!
23. What’s your absolute favorite trope to write?
Already answered this one so I’ll just copy past it!
I’ve been thinking about it, and it’s gotta be Hurt/Comfort, both as a writer and a reader. And this is probably just me projecting lol, but there’s just something in seeing characters be hurt/hurting, knowing they’ll have/will be given care after that speaks to me.
Also I guess it’s pretty obvious to say it, but mostly as a reader, the hurt must come with comfort. Or at least I need to be 100% certain the comfort will come at some point, and will matter.
And I actually think that’s why I can only handle so much amount of angst, because unless it’s tagged for it (and even then, I find Angst with a Happy Ending and such, and Hurt/Comfort just don’t hit the same way), you never know if it’ll be worth it in the end. And I’m a big softie so I can’t handle it zsdfgdsc.
A very close second favorite trope, also both as a writer and a reader, is when any characters with Responsibilities/Duties/Expectations (namely The Chosen One trope and such) just say fuck it all and does fuck it all.
Either by finding a solution that won’t leave them incredibly traumatized when all’s said and done, or by actually fucking off and making it everyone else’s problem.
I find it’s mostly present in Dark![Character Name] fics, which I also love to write and read, so it all works out for me lol.
43. Talk about a positive experience with fanfiction or the fanfiction community that you will always remember.
Mmmh, not sure if I have one yet? I only really started trying to get involved in the fanfiction community last year, so I feel maybe I’m not quite there to have these type of experiences.
That said, I can only talk about that one time I did a fanfic event for the first time, and @chierry was there every step of the way, leaving me a comment on each of my fics, and that was incredibly motivating. Felt really amazing too, and made the event that much more fun, so shoutout to her<3.
Also shoutout to that one time where we got Arco brainrot at the same time on the same frequency, and kind of just went nuts about it for a while zsdxfgh. That was very fun too!<3

Of Death, Of Time
Title: Of Death, Of Time Author: Shiro (TeitoxAkashi [AO3]/ seijuurouxryuu [tumblr]) Rating: T Pairing: Death/Tsuna; Reborn/Fon Event: @khrrarepairweek Prompts: Necromancer AU | Unknowingly Flirting Tags/Warnings: Major Character Death, No Archive Warning
Day 5: Rain Day
Tsuna was a witch—a necromancer in his first mortal life. He didn’t know how he became one, but one day he became aware that he was one. One who steals from Death, one who forces the souls it reaps to work for him. And that was all he does.
Every life he went through, every reincarnation—he called upon the dead souls, and called upon Death. He was the unrest of the world.
AO3
“P-please,” The boy rasped. “S-save her. Just her, please don’t take her away too.” Death looked down at the boy expressionlessly, face half humane half bone. “It’s her time.” It whispered, ghastly and solemn, time ticking in the background like a countdown, like a reminder. “It’s both of yours.”
The boy sobbed, tears mixed with red as he coughed out blood, head bleeding all the same. He couldn’t move, couldn’t scream, only whisper. To the reaper of souls, to the one who looked far sadder than he who would soon die. He was unwilling, but he knew there was nothing he could do. Clutching on his sister’s hands, as cold as his, unmoving, pulseless. He could only resign to it—resign to fate.
He was unwilling, but seeing Death’s boney hand clutching against the scythe tightly, he relented.
“W-where will we go next, then?” The boy tried to smile, tried to relief Death’s sadness. Ah, how many has it seen, the pleads of those whose time were up? How many times had Death seen the rage, unwillingness, sorrow, fear? How many times had Death went through such events that even it felt such overwhelming sadness for humans?
The boy could only wonder as he felt his strength slipping, sleepiness and darkness slowly engulfing him. For a moment, he felt as though he was home with his sister beside him, safe.
“… Home,” Death said as it watched the child relented to eternal sleep’s grasp. “You both are going home.” It tilted the tip of the scythe down gently and reaped the souls, watching both the boy and girl, two glowing children, pulses and disappear to where they would reincarnate; to be siblings once more.
‘Thank you.’ They both whispered.
Death watched as they went, and it disappeared into thin air.
.
Tsuna was once a bird, a tree, a child, a father, a mother, a fish, a dragon. He was once a lot of creatures, and was once nothing. He was once air, and he was once the ground.
He was everything.
Tsuna never knew how he came to be, but he knew he was what he was. He was the universe itself. He remembered of vague changes, shifts, and stutters of the world. He experienced those changes, helped the build up of civilization, watched life came to be and left.
He remembered mostly of Death, at every step he took.
“My lord.” Tsuna opened his eyes, glowing orange as he looked at Death who stood by his bed, looming and blending into the darkness. He saw him all the same, as clear as daylight. He smiled.
“Welcome home.” He reached out and encircled his arms around Death.
.
The boy and girl had a long dream during their journey home. It was but a blur, but they saw; of their past, present and future. They remembered, of those they forgot. And they yearned, to see their home sooner.
Lambo and I-pin.
They wanted to see Tsuna.
.
Tsuna woke up again the next day in Death’s embrace. He didn’t mind, he loved it even. He smiled at the half humane half bone face, kissing the white skull and whispered a greeting. Death was never asleep, it remained awake even as Tsuna slumbered. The humane part of its face crinkled in silent delight at that as it let go of Tsuna.
Tsuna stretched, back arching as the blanket that covered his naked upper torso slipped down, letting Death sees every part that it knew oh so well. Tsuna stepped out of their bed and got dressed. He picked up the ring of Time on the desk and slipped it onto his right middle finger, playing with the chains around it.
“They are here.”
Tsuna smiled, relieved. His shoulders relaxed as he felt for the souls of his family, warm and burning in the ring. He could feel the youngest two were restless, all but wanting to see him again. He would, soon. He would get to them soon.
Not just yet.
“You would be the harbinger of blood in next life.” Death piped out from where it was.
Tsuna barked out a laugh. “When am I never, Death?” He teased. “I am your reflection, after all.”
It shook its head, walking over to caress Tsuna’s cheeks, feeling the warm radiating to its bones. “You may be my representation, but you are you. You are yourself; not me.”
Tsuna sighed, nuzzling against its hand. “I know.”
“… And I don’t think you are allowed to summon the dead souls next life.” Tsuna raised an eyebrow at that.
“Why not?”
Death’s lips were pursed, disgruntled yet resigned. “… Life reincarnated.”
Tsuna paused and stare at it.
“… It will be your tutor next life.”
“… Fuck.”
.
When Tsuna remembered, he was 34 and the Vongola Neo Primo of Vongola Famiglia. That night, he went to sleep drunk from the party of his 34th birthday, and he woke up with a splitting headache from the rum and gin the Varia and Reborn chugged down his throat.
And as he groaned, he remembered everything. Life fucked him up so badly this lifetime.
“Rise and shine, Dame-Tsuna!” Tsuna snapped his fingers and the shadows of undead shot straight towards Reborn. The hitman—Life—merely snorted at the weak attempt and squashed all of them, straight away sending them to reincarnation.
“Fuck you, Life.”
It rolled its eyes at Tsuna, grinning ferally. “Good morning to you too, Time. By the way, stop playing with those dead souls every time you remember. It’s so annoying.”
“My business.” Tsuna hissed. He shook the hangover gone and gathered the rest of the undead souls from every corner of the house. Soon, shadows and silhouettes of those once alive gathered in his room. He looked through each and one of them, pelting a few at Reborn who punt them into reincarnation, and breathed, keeping the rest in his indispensable space for those dead.
The pocket watch in him ticked. And stopped.
Life leaned back and started floating to the air like the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. It pouted, black obsidian eyes turning white as it stared right through Tsuna’s space.
“Why keep such untasteful bunch of souls? Why not just let them reincarnate and suffer in the mortal world?”
Tsuna knew that it was trying to make him let the souls go, but he wouldn’t. Not like he needed those souls, but he knew keeping them would piss Life off, which it deserved for throwing Tsuna all over around for almost two decades of his mortal life.
“Whatever that is you're doing, it’s not working.” He huffed as he clenched his right fist. Opening it up, there sat on his palm was the ring of Time, sealed. He smiled and pull off the chain, and it glowed as Tsuna’s sealed powers returned to him.
“Worth a try.” Life muttered, too used to Time’s chaos that rip the balance of life and death apart just to keep Death in its track. “It took you long enough to wake this time.” During last lifetime, it remembered that Tsuna woke up the moment he was nine in mortal world.
Tsuna shrugged. Maybe because he overworked Death this lifetime, with the number of people he had to kill. Or maybe because he was just lazy, who knows. Time did not have such concept as long or short. It just knew when to continue or stop.
Tsuna blinked and his eyes turned bright orange. Standing by his side was Death, still half humane half bone. Tsuna smiled up to it and reached over. Death easily took him into its arm.
“I missed you.” Tsuna hummed, nuzzling.
Death whispered of the same as they kissed.
Life rolled its eyes at the two sappy being of unrest and disappeared off to its own beloved.
Tsuna soon pulled away and blinked cheekily at Death. “Time to start summoning to piss of Life.”
Death’s lips tugged up into a smile. “It is no longer disturbed by such moves.” Tsuna rolled his eyes. “I don’t care. I’m going to make it a bigger event this lifetime. Reborn screwed me inside out for almost two decades, I’m angry.”
Death stroked his fluffy hair and shook its head resignedly, letting Tsuna do as he liked. It didn’t matter anyway, because whatever Tsuna did would mean lessening its workload and it could spend more time with Tsuna.
“Whatever you are happy with, darling.”
.
Two years later, a zombie apocalypse happened.
Reborn almost shot Tsuna to death if not for Fon stopping him.
----------------------------------
A/N: Death is Death! Tsuna is Time! Reborn is Life!
Yes this is Death/Tsuna + Reborn/Fon fic :3 although Reborn and Fon didn't have much screen time uwu
First part is during their previous life before Vongola; Tsuna and the others left earlier than I-Pin and Lambo, who were last of them to leave the mortal world. Timeline's a bit wonky, but ye. They are always the youngest. ALWAYS.
A bit of lore, which is Tsuna or Time was the first existence of the universe, but remained asleep when Death and Life appeared. Then somehow he woke up when civilization started, and forcefully wedged himself between the balance Death and Life created. He hated how Death has to go through all those sorrow when he reaps humans' soul so he made it a goal to at least screw Life up once every time he reincarnated into a human. Which is a handful of time.
But yeah, Time Tsuna who is also a necromancer since he could just isolate-turn back time of the soul right after Death reap it and before it gets noticed by Life, and make it his minions or something. Always hits up Life's workload :3
Anyways this is a sudden plunny that popped out so have a short impulsive story from me :D
[I apologize for any grammar, spellings, etc. etc. mistakes]

(this could’ve been) a villain’s origin story -- KHR remix
[this fic is my first attempt to write in the KHR fandom. i apologize in advance.]
II.
The first time it happens, Tsuna doesn’t see it coming at all. It’s not the kind of thing one sees coming.
He’s following up on one of the many, many anonymous tips they receive daily, about villain movements, suspicious sightings, potential collaborations, the works. Nowhere in the official Vongola Inc. recruitement speech do they tell you that working for the world’s largest superhero organization mostly means digging through trash and interviewing witnesses, rather than bashing a supervillain’s head in.
Granted, most teams go out and get at least some action and technically Tsuna’s team is no exception. Tsuna is, though.
“You’re more likely to get one of us killed than be of any help!” Mochida had snapped when he’d seen Tsuna trott after the others on their way to the briefing room. “Make yourself useful for once and stay out of the way.”
[continues under the cut]
[In all honesty, Tsuna can’t blame his squad leader. He never thought he, Dame-Tsuna, always too slow, too clumsy, too useless, would get recruited by Vongola Inc. The best, most powerful, most feared superhero organization the world has to offer and they wanted Tsuna.
Of course that turned out to be bullshit. Tsuna should’ve expected nothing less. Should’ve seen it coming. Why doesn’t he ever learn? But he’d been so shocked, so gratefulrelievedelated to know that someone saw something in him. That someone wanted him.
If he’d known all Vongola wanted was Sawada Iemitsu’s son -- his bloodline -- well. Tsuna knows himself well enough to realize that it probably wouldn’t have changed a thing.
But that doesn’t stop him from wishing it had.]
Mochida is cold and cutting and often cruel, but he’s not a terrible team leader. He takes his responsibilities seriously. And even though Tsuna knows the man doesn’t like him, sees being saddled with Tsuna as some kind of creative punishment by his superiors, Mochida doesn’t let Tsuna’s inability to walk a straight line without running into a a door and his utter lack of super abilities get in the way of their job. It usually ends with Tsuna being sidelined and manning the coffee maschine or the phonelines -- wherever he can cause the least damage -- but Tsuna doesn’t mind much.
Sure, it’s not glamourous, but it’s still little things that need to be done and Tsuna is glad he can be of help, even if his co-workers rarely appreciate it. Mochida doesn’t expect much of anything from him and sometimes that hurts, but he never sets Tsuna up for failure just to have something to laugh at either -- and that means more to Tsuna than it probably should.
Besides it’s not like spending yet another endless day at work, following up on various anonymous tips, 98 percent of which always turn out to be a useless waste of time, is a bad price to pay for a steady job in a respected profession.
It’s only in retrospect that it occurs to Tsuna that what happens next is not at all surprising. That it is almost inevitable. Because no matter how many crazy, paranoid or joking people call the Vongola Emergency line, sooner or later Tsuna was bound to stumble over a nugget of valuable information. That this was why they kept a tip line in the first place -- because it occasionally proves to be useful.
In Tsuna’s defense, he’s pretty sure none of the others expected today’s calls to be real either. They sure wouldn’t have sent him out otherwise.
But here he is. Searching -- read: stumbling through -- a long abandoned warehouse that Tsuna just knows would have Hana sniff in disgust at the utter cliché of it all. Without back-up or any particularly useful weapon.
[His team learned in their first month together not to arm Tsuna with anything he could use to hurt himself with. Or them.]
Staring in horror at the supervillain staring at Tsuna with equal surprise.
At least I’m not the only one caught off-guard, Tsuna thinks hysterically. And he’s allowed to be hysterical when he finds himself trapped alone and unarmed in an abandoned warehouse with Skull De Mort of all people.
[Tsuna doesn’t have many hero-like qualities, but he’s got a lot of free time on his hands when manning the phone lines and pulling graveyard shifts on days where even villains prefer to catch a break and sleep in. Tsuna also, by virtue of his heritage, has access to the kind of high-level intel most field agents can only dream of.
As such, Tsuna has a better understanding on the recently active and inactive supervillains than most.
Whereas the average newsreporter likes to scoff and sniff derisively when Skull De Mort pulls one of his outrageous attacks that always mean impressive amounts of property damage and no civilian deaths because Skull is just an ambitious, loud-mouthed thug with ideas above his station as far as the general public is concerned, Tsuna knows better.
Skull De Mort is an Arcobaleno. As in one of the seven most powerful villains in the entire world. He might not drown the city in blood, but it’s sure as hell not because he can’t do it.
Sure, Skull baffles Vongola Inc. regularly with his antics, but his name is spoken in the same breath as Reborn, Fon or Viper and the point is oh god, Tsuna is gonna die here.]
With perfectly reasonable, if unhealthy amounts of panic and horror fighting for dominance within him, it takes Tsuna several long seconds to realize that Skull isn’t launching into one of his infamous supervillain speeches. Isn’t even throwing glitter bombs at Tsuna -- and those glitter bombs might not kill anyone, but walking into Vongola HQ and leaving a trail of glitter everywhere just might.
Hibari-senpai -- who isn’t even Vongola, is the definition of unaffiliated asset everyone is too afraid to alienate -- hates glitter.
Tsuna is so dead.
Except he still isn’t. He’s been standing here, gaping and panicking for close to five minutes and Skull still hasn’t made his move. In fact, now that Tsuna pays attention, it’s not just his breathing that’s unnaturally loud and heavy in the empty hall. And-- Tsuna squints. Skull doesn’t seem to be leaning against the wall so much as clinging to it and he’s watching Tsuna with a look that no one has ever directed at Tsuna in his life, something that almost looks like, like wariness and--
“Are you okay?” Tsuna blurts out before he can think of all the reasons why starting a conversation with an Arcobaleno is a terrible idea.
It’s just— this is a supervillain and that’s terrifying and Tsuna should probably call someone more qualified to deal with this situation, but also this is an injured supervillain and somehow that makes all the difference.
Skull scoffs, ironically putting Tsuna a little more at ease. People always scoff or scowl when he reminds them of his existence, this is no different. Besides it’s hard to take the villain’s derision seriously when he promptly sways on his feet. He’s not wearing his helmet, either, and despite being dressed in the usual black motorcycle suit, Tsuna is pretty sure his violett hair is matted with blood.
“You’re hurt!” he exclaims, horrified. Promptly drops the taser he’s been trying to pull out of his overstuffed bag with shaking hands and rushes towards the villain’s side, who’s eyes widen in alarm as Tsuna approaches.
Somehow that makes it easier to breathe, but it’s not enough to distract Tsuna from the long cut along the man’s temple and the dark bruises on his jaw.
“The Great Skull-sama is fine!” Skull protests frantically.
He’s clearly not, considering he promptly loses his balance when he tries to take a step back. Instinctively, Tsuna reaches out to catch him, realizing a second too late that one, he doesn’t have the strenth to keep the taller man upright and two, Tusna is a walking, talking disaster who inevitably trips and brings Skull down with him. They hit the ground hard enough to knock all the air out of his lungs and land in a graceless heap on the floor.
“Sorry!” Tsuna squeaks, breathless from where his face is smushed against Skull’s padded shoulder. “I’m so sorry, please forgive me, Skull-sama!”
Kami-sama, he’s knocked the poor, already injured man over! Trying to untangle them immediately, Tsuna accidentally rams his elbow into Skull’s side, which earns him a pained groan and Skull another flustered apology.
This is why his team doesn’t take Tsuna on missions. He’s a hazard not just for himself but everyone around him.
Scrambling away from Skull before he manages to kill the guy through sheer clumsiness, Tsuna forces himself to take one deep, steady breath — only one, though, else he’ll have time to think about how stupid what he’s gonna do in a moment really is — and starts to unpack his bag. Tsuna might not carry as many weapons as a Vongola Superhero on duty technically should, but his emergency kit would make any aspiring doctor proud. And Nana too, but that’s because Tsuna’s mom thinks he’s healing the innocent bystanders — "My Tsu-kun has such a gentle heart!" not himself.
"What are you doing?!" Skull asks while slowly pushing himself off the floor and into a sitting position.
"I’m just looking for the— there!" Tsuna knew he still has one of Irie’s newest ice packs. He kneads the white package for a few moments to activate it, then holds it out to Skull. "Here. Hold this to your jaw for at least ten minutes, but no longer than thirty. Ichi’s still working on some issues long-term use has on human skin."
Tsuna babbles like he always does when he’s scared. [It drives Mochida crazy sometimes because Tsuna is scared most of the time and Mochida hates babbling.] It doesn’t stop him from noticing the odd look Skull shoots him, a bit like he’s measuring Tsuna’s worth. Except that’s a look he’s intimately familiar with and would recognize anyone, so it’s something close, but not exactly that.
"Please take it, Skull-sama." Tsuna shakes the ice pack lightly, pretends like his hands aren’t trembling when those bright, violett eyes fixate on him. "That looks like it really hurts."
[He’s not sure if all Arcobaleno carry their superpowers on the outside. If it’s part of the costume, colored contacts and all, or if their bodies are brimming with power to the point where they’re overflowing, where it pours out of them in any shape it can.]
Slowly Skull takes the ice pack. Looks at it as though he doesn’t know what to do with it.
"H-Hold it against your chin, please, Skull-sama." Tsuna busies himself with sorting through his various bandages and tries very hard to pretend his voice isn’t shaking and squeaky like a frightened mouse. "It’ll help keep the swelling down."
"…The immortal Skull-sama heals fast." Skull says the words like a question. Tsuna doesn’t look up, but he can feel the weight of the man’s stare.
Hunching his shoulders, Tsuna pulls what little courage he has together, and stutters, "That doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt, Skull-sama. Please, can you just take it? I— I don’t like seeing people hurt."
Skull is still staring, Tsuna can tell, but it feels less like he wants to lean over and rip Tsuna open to figure out what’s inside, and more like he’s just watching Tsuna drop the disinfect spray for the third time. After a moment, he presses the ice pack to his face and even though Tsuna’s still trembling a bit, he smiles.
"Thank you."
Skull doesn’t reply, but he doesn’t protest when Tsuna tells him to disinfect the gash above his eyebrow — not deep enough to need stitches, thankfully. He draws the line at more bandages, though, which is worrisome. Tsuna is pretty sure the man has at the very least bruised his rips, but Skull is a supervillain, not runaway kitten, and maybe that means he knows what he’s doing.
That would at least make one of them.
Finally convinced that there’s no other injury Skull will let him help with, Tsuna carefully packs up his things again and bids the villain a hesitant goodbye. Which brings up a somewhat awkward point.
"I have to go back to work now and someone might ask where I’ve been." Eventually. Maybe. Tsuna rocks back on his heels, not sure how to put this. "If they ask, they might come here. And you— might not want to be there when they come," is what he settles on.
Skull’s watching him with another strange expression, both eyebrows raised as he watches Tsuna make a fool of himself. "Why?"
Tsuna eeps. [It’s not a full-on shriek, thankfully, but it’s far too close for his comfort.] There’s an intensity to Skull just now that has the hairs of the back of his neck stand up and reminds Tsuna rather violently that he’s talking to an Arcobaleno. That he’s been treating an Arcobaleno’s wounds. For a moment, Tsuna sways on his feet, as though his body wonders whether it should just give up on him completely.
"Ireallyneedtogonow!" Tsuna rushes the words out so fast, they trip over themselves, grabs his bag and high-tails it out of there. "Please take care of yourself, Skull-sama!" he adds over his shoulder, almost walking into the door as he does so.
It’s not until Tsuna is sitting in his comfortingly safe work chair that it occurs to him that not once during the entire, surreal encounter [he still can’t believe he was in the same room as an Arcobaleno and survived] did it occur to him to call Vongola. Even now Tsuna is hesitating to speak up, to tell one of his co-workers. Because while his gut feeling tells him that Skull got out of that warehouse as soon as Tsuna turned his back on him, he isn’t one hundred percent sure and what if they catch Skull because of him?
Tsuna resolves to spill the whole story as soon as someone asks — he’s a terrible liar and he never promised Skull he wouldn’t tell, not that the man asked himto — and tries not to think too much about the many crimes he committed by letting the chance of catching a supervillain of Skull’s calibre go to waste. Not that anyone would expect Tsuna to catch a supervillain, but still.
[His team returns two hours later, bright-eyed, bruised and breathless with the enthusiasm of a successful mission tangible in the air around them. Mochida even greets Tsuna with a smile and doesn’t scold him when Tsuna drops his tea cup in response and Haru tells him all about the exciting and ultimately successful arrest they’ve pulled off.
No one asks Tsuna where he’s been or if anything interesting happened while they were gone.
Tsuna tells himself he’s relieved, for Skull’s sake if nothing else, because the pang he feels at the thought that no one would miss me if I was gone has gone beyond pathetic a long time ago.]

[Full disclosure]
Part 7 of the Cold Nights AU
They're not in the medical wing anymore, Tsuna knows this much. He had let Mukuro drive his body for much of the exams, most if not everything. So he breathes through the disorientation of finding himself on the driving seat once more.
Xanxus is pacing, all the way to the window and then back to the edge of the carpet, time and time again. Tsuna watches silently, comfortable with the man's explosive temper by this point. Mukuro is still a presence in the back of Tsuna's mind but he's not physically here anymore.
If Tsuna knows Reborn, the man is somewhere nearby plotting something. Which leaves Tsuna alone with the irritated overgrown cat known as Xanxus of the Varia. Probably for the best, in all honesty.
Tsuna clenches his hands against the sheets, eyes lazily following Xanxus movements until the Wrath finally comes to a stop beside the window. "Xanxus," he calls, voice raspy but unashamed of calling for help. This is the same man that helped scrub him clean in alleyways, hand-fed him when Tsuna couldn't muster the energy to move.
It snaps Xanxus attention back to him and Tsuna aches at the dark unreadable look Xanxus sends him, at the uncertain line of his mouth. "You should have told me."
Nodding because it's true, Tsuna drags his hand to his chest in a remembered reflex. "I can't," he doesn't have the words for this. He just… "I can't." He doesn't do Xanxus the disservice of breaking eye contact but he doesn't stop his breath from hitching either. "Please."
When it comes to Xanxus, Tsuna feels no shame anymore. This man has heard Tsuna scream himself hoarse through the bars of their cell. Xanxus is complicated, yes. But Tsuna's all the same. And Tsuna hadn't begged for their captors' amusement, won't beg for anybody else. But Xanxus?
Yes, because as selfish as it sounds, Tsuna knows Xanxus has no ground to mock him on. There's much of their run around Italy that Tsuna doesn't remember but he has flashes.
There are half there memories of Xanxus shaking him, voice tight and urgent and 'don't you dare die on me, shitty brat! Come on, come on. We've made it this far.' And nights spent held in strong arms with murmured apologies ruffling his hair.
The truth is that it would be easy to hate Xanxus but is easier still to love him. Tsuna will answer if Xanxus asks but he hopes he won't have to.
Maybe it's the plea or maybe it's whatever he sees in Tsuna's face but Xanxus makes a beeline for him, hand coming up to shake Tsuna by the nape in reprimand. But he drops on the bed beside him and helps Tsuna burrow under him.
"I'm sorry."
"You apologize too much," Xanxus sighs. "I'm going to ask Rokudo."
Tsuna nods his consent at that and grabs Xanxus' hand when it makes the man uncoil a little. "He went through my memories."
It's not really a peace offering, more something that Tsuna hopes uselessly that Xanxus won't take him up on. But there's no hiding this from Xanxus anymore and if the man wants to know… Well, Tsuna will offer him full disclosure as best he can.
