Angst tropes I'm a sucker? Oh let's see... Hayato has one of the main of it, a broken heart from a past love. TYL Takeshi has, slowly physically gotten ill and of course depressed. There is also the one where the loved one is slowly dying that is really *chef kiss*. I also love love love, one-sided love! Basically those.

Everything in excess can be overwhelming after a while. The key point is that my, after a while... Takes a bit longer. Mostly because when I write angst I project the pain I'm feeling and thus I feel happy while writing. Which... Makes this process really long for me to burn out. So I guess... I thrive on angst?

... Don't make me pick... Don't make me pick... FUCK. I don't know honestly... I would recommend looking at 80daysofrain tag in my blog, or in the loyalrighthand blog... Whiskeysmulti020 tag is also one of the top favorite angst threads. There was... Once a naturalborn-hitman thread that was also my favorite. FUCK... Basically, before the hiatus, i played a lot of 8059 and that was the root of a lot of my angst threads but now... Hm... OOOOH I KNOW one that is also 1859 LOL. I had threads with Kouhai muses where Dera had one-side love for her OC, who was in love with Shu's Tsuna. That was fun... Fuck... I had so many fun angst threads. I'm slowly creating a new selection tho. Since except the one with Whiskey, are all old threads xD. PS: Gimme reason for angst Yuni. That is also my dream ~.

In that regard, he owed him thanks. In others, he would likely be reprimanded for not taking the prior fate of the future into consideration when responding. Bearing in mind the decisions he himself had been capable of, there wasn't much reason to judge - people were cruel, and people with power were often clinical in their methods. It wasn't surprising anymore. Staring up in despondent fascination, rune-etched sclera reflected the fellow mafia boss similar to how a deer would gaze upon oncoming traffic. He lay on his back, currently, a bit roughed up but otherwise not deathly injured, as the growling of two dogs began to cease; They backed up immediately upon the man's arrival, and as soon as he spoke, turned tail and ran. "It's not like I could hurt them, even if they hate me. Uh.. thank you..? It's weird anyone is out this late, though."

Be chased by some Yakuza because you may have seen something you weren’t supposed to and you started running? ...Must be a new addition to the list. Check. 

“Haru already said she saw nothing!” (She did) “I won’t tell anyone!” (Oh, she’s definitely calling the cops) She rounds a corner and continues running. Looking behind her, she notices that she’s still being chased. Woe is Haru who finds herself in dangerous situations like these. 

“If you keep chasing Haru, you’ll regret it!” This, was probably true. 

Nope, that did squat. She sheds a figurative tear as she keeps running for her literal life, hoping to come across someone she knows who could help her persuade these yakuza to stop chasing her over a misunderstanding.

Moth, I love you so much! Your portrayal of Byakuran has given my Sho so much life. I love hearing people get excited about their muses like you do. I love just chilling on discord and listening to the headcanons you have and discussing things without any pressure or strain, you're so easy to plot with and it makes things so much easier.

I could spend all night just chatting with you and listening to you get engaged in your headcanons and world building and hearing the differences in how you see Byakuran from canon. It's so cool hearing the different headcanons you come up with. The dash comm tonight had me laughing into tears at the fashion crimes comments. Seeing his interactions with Haru is different as we saw canonically she didn't really interact with him, it was the guys because of -motions to everything going on TYL- I also love that you understand Byakuran and that the smile is a lie and in 2 seconds flat he can go straight to kill mode depending on the setting and verse. I like that you also have Shioryuu too as some of the box animals can play a part in the plot too, Uri isn't thrilled to see him but I am lol.

Another thing I love is that you want to acknowledge his wrongs and fix it, as we mentioned, there is a lot that needs fixed between him and Shoichi before they can have a stable relationship otherwise it's toxic and basically forced by Stockholm syndrome. You don't know how many times I've seen this ship portrayed as toxic in fics and it made me want to cry. I am so happy you agreed that they both need to heal first and Sho needs to acknowledge that Byakuran did actually do wrong and hurt him and not be so quick and easy to forgive. You are acknowledging that yes you write a villain, and not all of them get their redemption arc so quickly. And that's my favorite thing about your portrayal, you're making him more realistic by acknowledging his wrongdoings and not just glossing them over easily.

Could say more but I'm gonna cut it here and just say that I love your portrayal and enjoy talking with you as a friend too and hope to write more with you for a long time!

Hours prior, an incident happened on a normally peaceful street in Namimori, which involved a young woman being shot. The victim's name is Haru Miura, and with the incident, it lit a figurative fire underneath the normally pacifistic 'herbivore' into action. Albeit amusing to see Sawada Tsunayoshi become serious, it was more vexing that a friend of the yellow avians had to be harmed in the process.

As loathe as he'd be to consider the notion, the two got along amicably on most occasions, assuming she could keep her wits about her. He'd received word that a patient Kusakabe was tasked with overseeing had woken up, so he'd left his quarters to pay a 'visit'.

No pleasant greetings nor a question about his well-being as the Cloudian quite frankly didn't care for it. The crux of the matter was to gain insight on the events that have transpired to lead up to an innocent person being shot in broad daylight, impacting the peace of Namimori, a criminal offense by all means.

The faint mewing for help wasn't something Kyouya could easily ignore. He had trailed after the pitiful sound, only to be met with the unfortunate sight of a kitten stuck in a tree. It appeared to have gotten trapped by some twigs.

In most circumstances, leaping onto high platforms wouldn't be much of an issue. However... This tree would require quite a climb.

Kyouya was readying himself to unceremoniously get himself up there, only to be interrupted by a gust of wind.

hihi! i'm using Am I Dreaming on my rp blog and absolutely adore it, but i don't think the audio posts look like they should? i'm not sure if i messed something up with the appearance tweaks or not (or what audio posts were originally designed to look in the theme) so i don't know how to troubleshoot lmao? (there's a few on the blog itself right now for examples, and fyi my tweaks are corner roundness and border width.)

hi, may i please see the sideblog you're referring to so i know what the problem looks like? the audio posts are styled like this in default unless it's an npf audio post (audio uploaded through mobile device).

i apologize for any inconvenience as the npf audio post fix was just released a few months ago and i haven't have the opportunity to update my codes as something personal came up.

He was finally found! They finally were able to find Byakuran! The young Sky Boss was so happy, even though he didn't look very well, the fact that he was alive was enough for her happiness. As she knocks on the hospital door, taking a deep breath before getting in and smiling. Onii-chan! She walks towards him with a basket of marshmallows and other candies that he likes. I bought those for you!

The boxes are subject to change based off my whimsy, but there have been a few boxes that I've briefly mentioned here and there.

For an older verse that I never actually ended up using years ago:

Lightning Elk (because who doesn't like to just ride on a big elk?) & Lightning gloves

Storm Bearded Vulture & Storm Crossbow

She likes to mix-and match the usage of her box weapons/animals. So you were likely to see her in that verse riding atop the Elk with her crossbow for instance. As one would expect, it's horns are quite the dangerous weapon and don't think lightly on the kicking power! The storm vulture is a large bird whose talons could easily rip into someone. Contact with its feathers can burn someone as it's enveloped with it's flame. Characteristic of the bird, it may pick up something, fly up to a high altitude and drop it's victim from a great height. These vultures do enjoy eating bones.

The gloves are simple, it helps fortify her hands if she starts swinging those fists. (Reference to her punching out Dr. Shamal? Yes) Aside from that, it is also useful for if she grabs someone and in the midst of a grapple, just give them a shock! Good night.

Some similarities but also some differences in the Varia verse:

Lightning elk & Lightning Atlas Moth & Lightning gloves

Storm bearded vulture & Storm crossbow

The Atlas moth releases a fine dust that slowly numbs the target. That usually then makes it easy enough to 'bye bye!' with the crossbow.

There is a TYL verse where she became more affiliated with the Vongola and has something like a spy role:

A pair of common marmon butterflies. The male is a cloud attribute while the female is a lightning attribute. - Both were seen in thread.

A lightning gymnastics ribbon. Can be used offensively, but she often likes to use it to allow her to just swing around to other places. Useful, mhm mhm - Might or might not have been seen in thread. I forgor

Lightning Naginata

The pair of butterflies are actually found in Japan and they do have differences between the gender, so I said: two different flame types it is. Similar to the atlas moth above, the cloud butterfly can propogate as many cloud boxes do, and they release a very fine misting of particles from their wings. The female butterfly tends to follow the scent trail of the male butterflies and if Haru commands it, it will let out a spark of electricity which will in fact set off the fine dust particles in the air and boom! Due to the fact that the butterflies can pick up on pheromones and scents easily, Haru actually carries around a vial that has a subtle scent similar to her natural one, so if she puts it on someone, the butterflies know that they're somehow associated with Haru. Usually it's done so she'll be able to find the other person if they get separated because the lightning butterfly normally stays by her side.

The TYL 'Lady Boss' verse as I call it which references what I created for @signorinavongola's fem!Tsuna:

Lightning gloves - has been used in thread. (Yes, I really love the gloves)

Lightning cloak- it has good defensive capabilities. Not seen in thread yet.

Rain flying squirrel (Is this a reference to Momo, Fuu's pet flying squirrel? Yes. Fuu is Haru's older FC) Not seen in thread yet either.

The reason for the rain element is because it is a different verse/universe, I should be allowed to play around with things, as as a person who is taking in orphaned or misplaced kids due to the influence of the mafia, a tranquil element is sorta necessary. I imagine she worked hard to be able to ignite it.

Kyoko just has one verse at the moment where i've given her a box weapon- and that parallels the verse where Haru becomes something like a spy. She's got a secretarial role while also being a coordinator. So when Haru is on missions, they keep in contact and Kyoko helps her coordinate in regards to locations she should go, who she is scheduled to meet, etc. In my mind she's more suited for roles that don't require her to go outside or move around much. Haru is the one who would much prefer to go out there and do something physically. She's not so much a sit around peacefully kinda gal.

Anyways, her weapons:

Mist Wrist watch & Orchid Mantis - I think I vaguely recall mentioning this in either a thread or a drabble.

Rain Goldenrod Crab Spider - Same as above, might have been mentioned in thread or drabble.

The watch works similarly to Lal Mirch's balloons from the TYL arc. It's mostly a precautionary method. It will alert her for if anyone else has activated mist flames in her presence. It isn't foolproof because it can be fooled if someone is very talented (ie Fran, Mammon, Chrome/Mukuro with the real illusions and the like), but it's rare to come across someone who can fool her watch. If the second hand stops moving, then she knows someone started using mist illusions. It will start moving again once they stop. So she may have a good gauge on when they started being used. Important to help keep herself safe and vigilant.

The mist orchid mantis is a master of camouflage among flowers. In nature, it's aggressive mimicry hides it from predators and prey alike. It is normally summoned in tandem with the rain goldenrod crab spider as it'll use it's mist flames to help keep both box weapons hidden from any guests. The spider has it's silk hidden from guests who visit, and the more contact people have with its silk, the calmer they will be. This is quite useful for entertaining guests of the Vongola. She normally releases both prior to the scheduled time to allow them both to get to work and set up draglines of almost imperceptible silk in strategic places.

The goldenrod spider is venomous to insects but not so to humans, however, as a rain element box weapon, it CAN bite humans to inject them with rain flames. Depending on how much it injects, it will either calm down the 'guest' or sedate the 'rude guest' by making them unable to properly move.

Technically there are probably more as I do think on things in the bg a lot, but I either haven't found a place to put them, or I want to continue thinking about them. I don't like giving out spoilers because then i'll feel locked into place, but who knows? Maybe i'll reveal other box ideas in due time. Maybe not. I'm pretty happy at the moment with how things are currently.

If you are an independent blog, have you ever roleplayed in a closed group? No, I have never roleplayed in a closed group. They mostly don't meet my needs, or they don't offer as much freedom and experimentation.

How did you come across the roleplay community? If you're wondering how I got into the KHR community here on Tumblr, I've been thinking about starting a roleplay here on Tumblr for so long. I created a Tsuna muse account but left it alone for a long time. I didn't find anyone from the KHR community here, and the few didn't follow me back. Meanwhile, I was roleplaying on Twitter. There were a couple of people from the KHR Thai-speaking community who roleplayed with me in English. But then I came across the @parallelroutes twitter account, we started writing together, and the roleplayer of Byakuran asked me if I had a Tumblr because he was more active there. So I tried it again, and it was worth it!

重力| | A distinct solemnity shifted to a hint of wonder as the movement caught his eye, following each feather as it neared its departure into the dirt; Flames of each colour, mirrored but differing from his own and his family's.. the sky looking down upon the earth - no, watching over? Was it the same for this man? Was he anything like others who boasted that particular fire? Either way.. the wings..they were kind of pretty, weren't they? His mind wandered askance for a little too long, leaving him gawking even after he had already been extended aid, ensuing a sharp glance down toward the offered palm with a visible startle. "I - ah - you don't have to. You've helped enough, right?"

Still, despite protest, it seemed far more awkward to just leave it there, and so he tentatively extended an arm with a strangely concentrating expression, and took a less-than-firm grasp of his savior's hand. "Maybe they were strays...? I didn't really check."

Looks like a simple statement and two wingbeats was all it took to send the dogs running away. Byakuran lets his wings dissipate into smoke after a third, leaving behind plenty of stray feathers floating to the ground. Some land there before turning to wisps of smoke on impact, others simply turn to puffs in mid-air.

"If you ask me, it's weirder that someone's dogs are loose this late."

It seems like Enma-kun and Tsunayoshi-kun really are similar - humble to a fault. It's already endearing. He was too fixated on the latter to pay much attention to the former when they were first in the same room... a distant acknowledgment at most, given that they all had the same time-sensitive issue to deal with. He's never had the chance after that.

Byakuran steps to the side, drops to rest on his ankles, and looks over Enma much like a surgeon looks at a patient on an operating table. Hmm… it won't be difficult at all. He offers a hand despite being at a similar height from the ground.

"Here, let me help you." ♪
