Going back to Nyssa, I think this gets amplified by the fact that the Traken Union wasn't just one world. According to one EU source (Cold Fusion), it covered a million star systems, each one presumably having countless languages, cultures, and traditions that had been living in harmony and peace for five thousand years, all gone in an instant. And Nyssa can actually comprehend that. In Cold Fusion, she is talking with a human and has the following exchange about a weapon of mass destruction:
"Chris shook his head. ‘They need every single one of these for some reason. They want to kill tens of trillions of people.’ He stopped, realizing what he was saying. ‘Someone said once that the human mind finds it difficult to comprehend numbers above one hundred. It’s too much to take in. We see them as a crowd or an audience, somehow as some entity in its own right, rather than something made up of individuals. It’s difficult to imagine six million people watching a holovid or dying in a war. It becomes less personal, harder to relate to? Ten trillion people… there aren’t that many people to kill.’
‘I come from Traken,’ Nyssa reminded Chris sharply. ‘Which means both that I don’t have a “human mind”, and that I can comprehend what it means for a trillion people to die.' " (Cold Fusion, chapter 12)
I don't care how many times Doctor Who threatens to destroy the universe or kills a beloved character or whatever, the Entropy Wave will always be the most tragic moment of Who for me.
(also yes. Time Lords suck.)
it's tempting to assume that the alien companions of doctor who speak the language of their planet. but much as earth doesn't have a language called "earth," but rather thousands of unique and varied languages, it is logical to assume that, say, alzarius has a whole variety of languages and that adric spoke one of them, not "alzarian". this is precisely what makes the destruction of traken so devastating: it's not the loss of one monolithic culture, one people, it's the loss of countless cultures and people, so many languages and ideas and ways of life. part of the tragedy is its unthinkable enormity, that traken cannot even be wholly remembered because there are elements of it which nyssa, as its sole survivor, never even knew of. that said romana does very much speak gallifreyan and this is for the simple reason that the time lords fucking suck
#doctor who#classic who#classic doctor who#nyssa of traken#traken union#this also makes me wonder what's up with Trion and their languages

Random Doctor Who Facts You Might Not Know, Part 5
The Eleventh Doctor is called the Anti-Squid. It means he is the Devil of the Space Squid Religion.
Kovarian taught the assassins she raised to refer to the Doctor as the Demon and the sound the TARDIS makes as the Demon's roar.
The Eighth Doctor has a tattoo of a man turning into a jaguar.
Grace Holloway eventually worked in a MI6 sponsored genetics lab to test the substance the Master had spat at her during the TV Movie in the hopes of creating a Time Lord-human hybrid capable of regeneration. Unfortunately, the Master had at the time been a Deathworm Morphant, and her associate became a Morphant-human hybrid. The Doctor chastised her for this.
Speaking of experiments involving regeneration, the Forge was an intelligence organization that did all sorts of experiments, including Project: Lazarus. This operation was designed to discover how regeneration worked.
Nyssa collapses in Four to Doomsday and exhibited psychic powers in Time-Flight. This is because Kwundaar, a pre-universe being who had originally created the Source, chose her for his manipulations because she was a Traken native who had left the union.
The Fourth Doctor took Liz Shaw on adventures for a little while.
The First Doctor also tried to kill the would-be dictator as a baby. While queuing up to see the baby at the christening, he dropped the knife he had been planning on using to kill them. Annoyed with his clumsiness, he left with Susan.
Runcible was a hall monitor in the Academy who had mutual bad blood with the Doctor and his friends. He would one day be literally stabbed in the back by the Master.
Borusa taught the Doctor when they were young to fear the regenerative process.
Clara Oswald's mother died on the same day as the Auton Invasion in the episode Rose.
Not all TARDISes are capable of flight.
While being affected by the Gommen Machine, K9 thought that he was a stuntman and that Nyssa was his daughter.
After Nyssa and the Fifth Doctor were splintered in time and trapped in a time bubble, they became something akin to psychic vampires, eating the memories of the villagers nearby.
Anzor was a school bully at the Academy who used a torture device called a galvaniser on his classmates. He would most notably torment the Doctor, using this device and making him do his navigational homework because he wasn't smart enough to do so. The Sixth Doctor was still terrified of Anzor, trying to hide from him when they met.
The Sixth Doctor believed that the Third Doctor had an unusual dress sense.
The Third Doctor was able to control his pheromones to communicate with the Builders, which resembled eight inch slugs.
The TARDIS kitchen restocks itself every morning.

Tegan: Hey Nys, are you from Tennessee?
Nyssa: Tegan, you know I'm from the Traken Union.
Tegan: Because you're the only ten I see!
Nyssa: I... don't follow. Are you trying to solve a mathematical problem? Have you tried using the TARDIS databanks? I remember trying to compute something the other day and it was relatively straightforward. Let me show you...

Doctor Who: The Keeper of Traken
I rewatched this serial on 5 April 2023. The first time I watched it was at writer Johnny Byrne’s house during 1984. As I mentioned before, season eighteen was when I became a fan of Doctor Who. My brother, a friend, and I started a fanzine that we called Union of Traken even though it was for Blake’s Seven as well as Doctor Who. We were only kids, and my dad told us about copyright and how we should ask permission. Dutifully, I wrote to the BBC, who passed on my letter to Johnny Byrne, who replied to me and we enjoyed corresponding for a few years. When my family and I stayed in the UK for a few months in 1984, Johnny invited me and my brother to his house for Sunday lunch. For reasons, we hadn’t seen Keeper but we did have an off-air audio recording. Johnny sat us down to watch it, as well as gave us the original storylines and the first drafts of the script.
Anyway, we begin in the TARDIS with the Doctor showing Adric n-space. Allegedly, they are still on their way to Gallifrey, until Adric notices they’re heading to Traken. Then the Keeper of Traken appears inside the TARDIS. He tells our heroes about Traken, and about a great evil about to visit. We see quite a bit of background - the arrival of a melkur, Kassia’s marriage to Tremas, two consuls of Traken. He appoints Nyssa, Tremas’s daughter, to look after the melkur.
Trouble does start at the moment of Traken’s greatest weakness, when the old keeper dies and needs to be replaced by a new one. It’s a love story, with Kassia acting out of her love of Tremas and the melkur, and *spoilers* because it’s the Master behind it all there’s no doubt some kind of twisted love stuff going on there with the Doctor…

Just realised — the Arcadians/Benign Union stuff in "BotW" pegging the Trakenites as distant post-humans rather than coincidentally-humanoid aliens means that in FP canon, Nyssa and Tegan don't get separated by the City of the Saved at all! :3
Wow, you're right! Unironically that's been the #1 criticism of the City's canonicity, as far as Tumblr's concerned at least. The Book of the War authors taking care of us before we even realized it 🤗

I thought that Serenity was a future earth colony of Spanish/Iberian origins, as the surname Ebbko seems Basque.
And that it’s ties to Traken are just “the Melkur and source were created there”.
Its on the Milky Way, somewhere in the border with/close by Isop Galaxy. It is not on Trakens galaxy.
Unpacking references to “Arcadians”
Referring to themselves as “guardians”, [Arcadians] were often composed of societies which had the greatest bio-socio-psycho-emotional link to the lost Earth, and indeed a leading element of the guardian faction was made up of the final generations of survivors from the home planet. This set was determined to re-establish a new Earth on the nearest available Earth-like world, and might be seen as a ludicrous colonial throwback.
— “Posthumanity”, The Book of the War (2002), ed. Lawrence Miles
‘Where are you going?’ Steven asked.
‘The planet Refusis,’ replied the Commander. ‘The Earth is also dying and now we have left it for the last time. […] Only Refusis has the same conditions that we had on Earth. Atmosphere, water, the right temperate zones. […] We are the Guardians!’
— The Ark (1987), by Paul Erickson
Other groups were content to remake or even build worlds to be their new homes. Threatened by the rest of the [posthuman] hegemony, many of the Arcadian worlds eventually united to form a “benign union” (modelled on older world-systems which had displaced classical Greece and Rome as the acme of polite civilisation in the popular imagination). Faced with planetary atmospheres which bred goodwill and quiet contemplation by their very natures, the Arcadians’ enemies simply gave up. The Arcadian Union was isolationist and eventually the majority of its people simply vanished, either sublimating to a higher state of existence or dying of boredom.
— “Posthumanity” (continued), The Book of the War
Finally, on Traken, Nyssa’s home planet, the Master had captured the Source, the font of power for an entire galactic Union encompassing a million star systems. […] Chris recounted the sketchy details that he could remember: Serenity was the only surviving colony of the Union of Traken, a verdant garden world with advanced biotechnology, whose people lived in peace and relative isolation. They believed that at the time of the cosmic disaster that obliterated the entire rest of their galaxy, something called the Source had protected them, at the cost of its own existence. […] ‘We Adjudicators learn about Serenity as an example of a peaceful and just society.’
— Cold Fusion (1996), Lance Parkin
“Waiter! There’s even more Parkin lore in my book!” Or is there? (Emphasis all mine, of course.) From Big Finish’s Lost Stories adaptation of Johnny Byrne’s 1983 television pitch, which he’d shared with Sarah Groenewegen, a close friend of Kate Orman:
Sixth Doctor: Ahh, the planet Serenity of the Benign Union! […] This part of the galaxy, well, holds bad memories for me.
Peri: Do you want to talk about it?
Doctor: Well, you see that patch of darkness there at the edge of the screen? Now that used to be Mettula Orionsis, home of the Traken Union, one of the most harmonious places in the cosmos. […] That was centuries ago. At this point in history, a new union has risen in its place with, at its heart, the world of Serenity. The only planet of the Traken Union to survive.
— The Guardians of Prophecy (2012), Jonathan Morris

For the fic ask game: 14, 16, 18. :) Thanks!
Oooh, thank you!
14. If you could see one of your fics adapted into a visual medium, such as comic or film, which fan fic would you pick?
Hmmm, tough question. I tend to think quite visually when it comes to a lot of my fics, so I think a lot of my fics would work well if they were adapted in mini-series (or like a classic who serial). I think "Stand and Deliver!" would work as a classic drama serial, "All Alone For The Holidays" would fit well as a comfy holiday-season mini-series, "Fright Night" as a Hammer-Horror inspired serial, and "Glad All Over (Cake By The Ocean)" as a slice of life rom-com.
16. At what point in the process do you come up with titles?
For shorter fics, I tend to either come up with them during the writing process or towards the end. For longer and multi-chapter fics, I tend to come up with the titles during the planning process.
18. What’s one of your favorite lines you’ve written in a fic?
This is cheating a little, but I really like the following paragraph from "Far Side Of The World";
‘Traken was… oh, how to describe it? It was a union of people dedicated to the pursuit of peace and tranquillity. A place of learning and intellect. Of kindness. And… oh, it was so beautiful. The warm lagoons, the deep purple mountains and the long, sweeping vistas. Wildlife of all descriptions and sizes. The sun would rise and the whole planet seemed to come alive before my eyes. Especially the great highlands of the continent, where I was born. Powerful, majestic winds would sweep from the islands of the sea, and the trees would sing in the breeze. After I learned English, Tegan told me that the closest earth translation is “the breeze of the Hebrides”. The amount of times I’ve wished that I could take Tegan to see my homeland, the same way she has shown me hers...’
I extrapolated from the little of Traken we saw in "The Keeper of Traken" and took influences from the song "Far Side Of The World" by Tide Lines (one of my favourite bands at the moment), especially in terms of the language used in Traken's description. What sort of world would create a people dedicated to peace and kindness? And how would the society impact on Nyssa's development as a person? I also really wanted to highlight Nyssa's somewhat pained yearning for her homeworld; not just for herself, so that she could show Tegan as well. The mood needed to be pained and yet not without happiness; I think I largely succeeded with that, if I do say so myself.
Thanks for the asks!

I also made a swirly and somewhat Korean esque Traken alphabet
Its very Art nouveau and swirly and the tr is a special letter ofc.
MADE AN ALPHABET . so traken right . traken is a union i believe like its referred to as the union of traken iirc (or the traken union) so i assume they all speak the same language while ill jus call trakish . but i assume theres different groups of people from traken right so ive separated them from north traken n south traken . the language is basically the same in the whole planet except for little words n phrases n such (like 'classroom' in spanish changes dependin on which spanish speakin country youre in) !!!!
i think nyssa speaks northern trakish n knows the fundamental differences between it n southern trakish . so shes fluent in both but she can only SPEAK northern . anyway .

Adric has a high metabolism, which affects his appetite and how quickly he heals. It also gives him a higher body temperature than many other humanoids. This is part of why he favours his light tunic from Alzarius; it is made from a plant fibre comparable to cotton or linen and is extremely breathable.
Nyssa, on the other hand, tends to run cold. Trakken has a longer night than many other planets and a generally low temperature, which is why velvet and fur features so heavily in their fashion. Nyssa continues to wear her velvet jacket as she visits some warmer planets, although on several other planets she can do without her fur-lined vest and muff.
The weave of her jacket is velvet, but the fibre is from the cocoon of a moth native to Traken rather than the silk used on Earth. Traken textiles were once exported to neighbouring systems but after the Traken union was destroyed they became a nearly legendary luxury. (I’m a seamstress, I have headcanons about the fabrics available on different planets. Don’t judge me.)
Tegan tries her best to keep her uniform in one piece, it’s a good quality rayon but still stains and rips as easily as you would expect. She was extremely surprised to discover that, whenever she woke up, her uniform would be clean and free of any tears which had occurred the previous wearing. The Tardis’ laundry system works alongside the state of temporal grace that already exists to shift garments back along their personal timelines to a point where they were unsoiled and intact. This is also how the knee of Adric’s trousers was mended in Full Circle.
The Doctor avoids interacting with this directly because this particular editing of time gives Timelords headaches in small doses and can damage their health in larger ones. This may seem like an unnecessary danger to simply keep clothing clean, but Timelords can avoid permanent damage in much the same way humans can avoid drinking dry cleaning solution.
The Doctor, of course, prefers good Earth craftmanship and hard-wearing cotton and wool. Part of why they tend to dress in Earth fashions so much is because of how much more practical they are than Gallifreyan; all Gallifreyan fabric is synthetic and nearly unwearable outside of the Citadel.
This post was supposed to be about Nyssa and Adric holding hands to achieve thermodynamic equilibrium. I don’t know what happened.

As We Sit By the Fire
This is my @classicwhosecretsanta gift for @monsterfisken, who asked for Nyssa and Tegan hurt/comfort. I’m...not sure about this, but I really hope you like it! I’ve also done another fic that doesnt follow any of your prompts, but I got the idea from them so I’ll post that next. Happy Holidays!
Set after Emerald Tiger, but before Prisoners of Fate
There are approximately 17 sitting rooms in the TARDIS, all located somewhere within the vast confines of the Gallifreyan ship. Approximately because the TARDIS likes to change things up every so often and the Doctor is never entirely sure whether it’s a new room he’s stepped into or if it’s Room 3 but with a different carpet, or is it just Room 1 every time?
Anyway, this story takes place in what is probably Sitting Room 12, but it might be 18. In any case, it’s a room with sofas and armchairs and a fire.
The atmosphere of this room was warm and welcoming. The aforementioned fire crackled and flickered, casting dancing shadows across the walls. The scent of pine needles hung in the air- the source of which was a large tree in the corner. Despite its positioning, this was the centre piece of the room, adorned with sparkly tinsel and ornate baubles (in his 3rd regeneration, the Doctor tried to claim these had been given to him by a God-like creature in the Mutara Nebula, but Jo said they looked exactly like the ones she’d seen in the antiques shop last week.)
It was positively cosy, and should have been a room entirely at peace.
So naturally, an argument was taking place.
“I don’t understand, Doctor,” Turlough complained, “Why are we celebrating Christmas?”
“Because, Turlough, it’s been roughly a year- relatively speaking of course- since we last celebrated it. Besides it’s rather good fun!”
“It also means we get cake and presents!” Tegan chipped in helpfully
Turlough looked at her.
“Oh come on, Turlough! Don’t be such a Scrooge!”
“Doctor! Tegan’s using Earth culture references again!”
“Well, you should know that one- you went to school!”
“Yes, and I do not need to be reminded of the time spent listening to my English teacher droning on and on about how this guy was dead to begin with!”
The Doctor stepped between them, arms raised in defence. “Alright, alright you two. Tegan, stop winding him up- don’t argue- Turlough, we are celebrating Christmas as a group and that means getting on, okay? I’m not putting up with you two squabbling any more till this holiday is over.”
The two exchanged sullen glances (although both were on the verge of bursting into laughter at the other’s expression.)
“Right! Good that’s sorted. Now, I am going to see if there’s anywhere or time on Earth we could visit that you would enjoy.”
“Good luck actually arriving there,” Tegan muttered.
The Doctor gave her a look that told her he wasn’t even going to dignify that response with an answer, then left the room.
—
“All I wanted to know was why we only seem to celebrate Earth holidays- holidays from merely one religion at that! Why do we never do one of mine – or Nyssa’s?”
Tegan had been about to reply with ‘you barely talk about your home- it took an entire kidnapping for us to even know something!’, but the mention of Nyssa silenced her. Their companion was in the room, yet hadn’t spoken at all- which wasn’t unusual in itself- but she hadn’t even attempted to stop their bickering, which was unusual.
Glancing towards their peacemaker, they saw she sat in the armchair, gazing deeply into the fire. The soft glow reflected of something on her cheeks. Tear tracks.
Tegan and Turlough turned to face each other and, in the silence of their stare, they came to an understanding. Turlough mumbled a non-specific excuse and dashed out the door. Tegan made her way carefully over to Nyssa.
“Did Turlough really just mumble “a non-specific excuse”?” She joked.
Nyssa made no indication of having heard the quip and continued to observe the fire, as if it held all the answers.
Tegan’s demeanour changed in an instant, from sarcastic Australian, to concerned friend. She stepped closer, making to perch on the arm of the chair; slowly she reached her arm out to place it round the Trakenite’s shoulders.
At the contact, Nyssa glanced up, eyes glistening with untold sadness.
“Oh…Tegan, sorry I didn’t notice…” she trailed off, eyes returning to the fire.
“Hey, hey it’s alright,” Tegan’s usually abrasive voice was soft and soothing, “What’s the matter?”
“It’s n-nothing Tegan. I’m fine.” Nyssa dabbed at her eyes with the cuff of her jacket, carefully ignoring Tegan’s stare. It wasn’t a very convincing lie.
“If you don’t tell me, I’ll be forced to guess and you know what my guesses are like!”
Nyssa let out a shaky laugh at this, hopefully remembering the last Christmas the TARDIS team celebrated together, where they’d played charades and Tegan spent 10 minutes trying to guess what Adric was acting. Suddenly that moment felt, to her, like an eternity ago, and it must have felt even longer for Nyssa. When she’d left she’d been younger than Tegan, and now she was many years older.
And we’ve swapped one annoying brat for another, Tegan thought, trying to ignore the pang of grief tugging at her memories.
Her happy memories of all the banter, the frustration of all the arguments, the calm of the private moments she shared with Nyssa. Their family had changed so much-
That’s when it clicked.
Family.
“You- you miss your family don’t you?” she asked, emotions suddenly threatening to overwhelm her.
Nyssa nodded, then whispered, her voice catching slightly, “All of them.”
Tegan wasn’t certain on how to respond, so she asked: “Do you want to talk about it?”
–
Nyssa’s first instinct was to shake her head, but she knew bottling it up would only cause it to overflow at a later date- better get it done now, then she’d be better prepared to help others later.
Taking a deep breath (and a moment to consider her words) she began:
“All this talk of mentioning Christmas, it makes me think of all the other festivals and holidays in my life- making me realise all I’ve lost. I miss everything. I miss my family. My father, my mother, Kassia.
“On Traken we had this festival of light. It would be celebrated at the completion of every orbit our planet made of the sun, to remind us…”
The sun was beginning to set for the final time in that rotation. Dying rays of dazzling orange cast dark shadows across the land. It was not a scary sight; these shadows were dancing along with their owners, to the soft melodies that hung in the air. In a few moments, the lanterns would be lit, holding the light until it was the sun’s turn to lift it again. The festival would continue until the rays began to peak above the horizon, signifying the new beginnings for the Traken Union. Despite the advancing darkness, the atmosphere was light, laughter intertwined with the music and love was at the very core. The laughter and love were at their strongest between a group of three people. A man, a woman, and a young girl. The girl was wearing a brand-new dress; flowers adorned her chestnut hair. The other two were her parents, laughing at her joy as she swayed to the music, loving with all their hearts as she came back to them for hugs. They say Utopia cannot theoretically exist, but this must be the closest ever achieved.
–
Tegan’s own eyes were glistening with tears after listening to Nyssa recount the beauty that was Traken in the twilight.
“Wow…that sounds so…perfect…”
“It was. Back then, those nights felt like they would never end. But now-” She took a shaky breath. “But now they’ll never start again.”
Tegan gazed into Nyssa’s eyes. Eyes full of so much sorry and tragedy, but Tegan knew they could shine bright with hope and intelligence, and she’d do all she could to bring that back.
—
It was a few moments before either of them spoke, and when they did, they began discussing Nyssa’s children
“They’re the most wonderful children anyone could ever ask for. Neeka is strong and brave- she’s like you Tegan. A bit sarcastic and argumentative but she always knows what’s right. Adric is intelligent like his namesake – though he definitely eats less!” The two laughed gently at that.
“And Lasarti- he’s the most wonderful man I’ve ever met. He’s kind and…I love him”
Tegan tried to ignore the jealousy twisting at her heart. This was about Nyssa, not her feelings.
“Tell me more about them. What holidays do you celebrate on Terminus then?”
“The last thing we celebrated together was Lasarti’s birthday…"
The girl had spent hours trying to perfect the cake. It was slightly more difficult that synthesising an enzyme, but it was manageable. It had to be perfect. Her brother was creating a distraction to prevent their father from discovering the surprise, asking him hundreds of questions about his work- a topic the boy usually showed no interest in. When the cake was finally complete, the girl presented it with a flourish. Their father laughed in delight and declared it a masterpiece, although it was a little burned in places and she'd accidentally used salt instead of sugar in the top layer. Their mother looked on, smiling softly. Her son made the cake for her birthday and it had been an interesting mess of colour. They spent the evening playing games and the boy repeatedly refused to admit he was in the least bit tired because he's a teenager now and doesn't need to be told what to do. He fell asleep curled up to his sister, who fell asleep on top of him. The parents shared an adoring glace and decided to sleep in there with them.
"...And, despite all the horrors in the outside world, it was so cosy and peaceful…” Nyssa trailed off, the warm atmosphere fading like the embers in the fire “…t-that was the last time we ever spent together as a family”
“Nys…” Tegan replied softly, her heart breaking.
Nyssa brought her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them. Tears ran anew down her cheeks.
“I lost my parents, Adric, my family. I lose everyone. I’m- I’m cursed! Don’t you see, Tegan, it’s only a matter of time till I lose you too!”
“You won’t lose me. I won’t leave you”
“You left before”
“No. You left me at Heathrow. And besides, you left too. But we both came back and that’s what matters.”
“You’ll get back to them, Nys. You’ll deliver the cure for Richters and save millions- billions of lives! You’ll become a universal hero and your children will love you more than ever!”
Nyssa lifted her head and gave a tearful smile. “I appreciate the sentiment Tegan, I wish I had your optimism.”
Tegan hugged her tightly, impulsively, “You will see your children again Nyssa. You will. They’ll be overjoyed to see you and you’ll celebrate so many holidays together” She paused, “…but at least make the most of these ones too”
Nyssa gazed up at Tegan, and returned the hug, “I will.” She pressed a kiss gently to her cheek and whispered
“Thank you”

“Ah, there you are,” the Doctor stepped into the room, “You know, I could have sworn this room was closer to the console room. Anyway, we’ve managed to land at a Frost Fair in London so if you…”
He trailed off as he noticed his two companions. They were curled up together like kittens in the armchair, fast asleep, expressions of peace and contentment on both of their faces.

Initially Turlough will bully Adric but then they become friends then they would fell in love then marry each other and become emperors of Trion together as Emperors Vislor and Adric Turlough and Nyssa and Tegan would be part of the court.
Vislor and Adric would have a son named Varsh Malkon Turlough, Nyssa and Tegan would have a daughter named Lucina Vanessa Jovanka, and Varsh Turlough and Lucina Jovanka would grow up together on Trion and become childhood friends to lover.
Varsh Turlough then marries Lucina Jovanka and they have a son Tremas Colin Turlough and a daughter Talisa Juraas Turlough.
Except even Juraas Maateh got married to Malkon Turlough, who now is called Malkon Maateh. They have a son named Vislin Maateh. Making Vislin the true heir of Trion and current Emperor. He's also a great friend to Varsh and Lucina and great babysitter to Tremas and Talisa.
Oh and the Tenth Doctor visited with his Companions. Vislin married Martha Jones.
Vislin and Martha have a daughter named Adeola Juraas Maateh and a son named Thomas Malkon Maateh.
By the births of Trem and Tal Turlough, and Adi and Tom Maateh, the doors between the Trion Empire and Earth are well-opened, with a lot of humans going to live on Trion and Sarn, and viceversa. This leads to an early unification of Earth, and the foundation of the Union of the Three Galaxies: Isop, Milky Way, and Andromeda.
Even the CVEs are now permanently opened, with the Turlough family visiting New Alzarius, and Keara and her husband, a resurrected Tylos, visiting Trion.
Harriet Jones is the President and the Doctor is the Ambassador.
Also, since Traken was only a 240 meters diameter planet, everyone on Traken that would have died with its destruction, gets moved to the town of Serenity on Trion.
Katura retires peacefully and actually ends up marrying Lexa of Tigella.
Luvic is actually the Mayor of Serenity, as well as the pseudo adopted son of Katura and Lexa. He ends up marrying Jo Grant.
