⊹ note. . .stole this idea from my wife's thoughts :( so sorry stinky but it was too hot− you are truly a genius <3 ya'll she did one here so go check hers out as well !!! >:( | no warnings, it's pretty straightfoward− you ride kolya's face with clown makeup on <3 kolya eats ass btw he told me (mdni)
↓ divider is by @/cafekitsune !! :D
Tumblr media
you finally pulled away from your boyfriend− the clownish makeup suiting him perfectly. it was totally his style too, and he loved it. though you will say, the process of actually putting the makeup on him was quite....exhausting. he kept touching random products and asking you stupid questions like−
"hey- baby, what does this do?" he was holding up a container of concealer, pumping some out and rubbing it on his hands like soap. you quickly snatched the bottle away from him− facepalming as he sniffed his hand and looked up at you with a grin. "don't waste the product, kolya! this was like− 30 dollars!" you scolded, putting it away from his reach. nikolai only pouted before sitting still and letting you resume your work.
yeah, that was very irritating but whatever, right? at least the suffering was worth the final product. god, did he look like the most handsome clown ever− towering over you with a malicious grin as he slowly backed you up against the wall. "my my, what a pretty lady we have here? why has such a beauty like you come to this humble clown?" ugh, was he really getting into character right now? whatever, you figured it would be fun to play along, right?
"well, mister clown, I wanted to see what tricks you have up those sleeves of yours~" you spoke slowly, feigning innocence as you gave him your best doe-eyes, getting on your tippy toes to wrap your arms around the so called "clown's" neck− his lips stretching to reveal a downright maniacal grin as he gripped your waist, "oh my ! well, I'd be glad to show you a very... special trick of mine.."
and that's how you ended up seated comfortably on nikolai's face− him being nose deep into your gushing cunt as you gripped the headboard. "f-fuck− kolya! feels so good.." you babbled, basically humping his face− the lipstick you put on him earlier now completely smudged, some of it even stained your inner thighs− and of course on your pretty little clit.
he didn't tease− nor did he want to this time, much to your surprise. and who were you to complain when his tongue was buried deep inside of you? his pointy nose nudging your clit as he devoured you like his very last meal on earth. his hands were grabbing the plush globes of your ass− fingernails digging into the soft fat which were for sure to leave marks the following morning.
"s-shit− doll," he moaned into your cunt, eyes rolling back behind closed lids as he went drunk from your taste. you tasted like the sweetest ambrosia to him and god, was it nasty how his tongue pulled out of your pussy to lick at your puckered hole− a squeal leaving your mouth at the new sensation. your hips were shaking at this point, nails digging into the hard wood of your bedpost and leaving small indents. kolya only snickered at your reaction before going back to slurp at your cunt.
you felt borderline intoxicated by the feeling of his tongue pushing in and out− nose repeatedly brushing against your swollen clit and something in you finally snapped.
nikolai let out a guttural groan when you grabbed a fistful of his snowy hair before grinding down on his face. his eyes widened momentarily at your bold move, slurping your juices with even more ferocity and eagerness− he was desperate to have you cum all over his mouth.
and you did, squirting all over his face with a broken moan leaving your plump lips− your lover happily gulping down everything you had to offer.
you finally got off his face once he was done cleaning you up, and god was he drenched. nikolai's face was flushed down to his neck, the makeup completely ruined− leaving him looking utterly debauched. a sleazy grin splayed on his swollen red lips but his eyes held mischief, "didn't expect you to squirt f'me, sweetheart. should've done this ages ago."
"yeah, yeah− lets clean up now, hm?" you sighed, running a hand through your mess of a ponytail. "oh, but we haven't even gone to the good part yet~" he pouted, wrapping his arms around you as he buried his face into your neck, breathing in your scent.
"I'll suck you o−!" you got cut off by your own yelp when nikolai picked you up by the back of your knees− your back flush against his heaving chest.
"nuh uh, dove. i'm gonna fuck you and fill you up till i'm satisfied.." he laughed, slapping the tip of his cock against your sensitive cunt.
"after all.. you wanted to see what tricks this clown has up his sleeves, right?"

adequate peace
Phic phight for Lumi!
.
Human language lacked the words to adequately describe the physical appearance of the King of Ghosts.  This was sure to be a temporary deficiency.  When a human lacked the vocabulary to describe something, they either generated new words or stole them.  Still, for the moment, the deficiency persisted.
A human attempting to describe the Ghost King might, after a struggle, settle on vast.  This, on top of being inadequate, would also be incorrect, a product of human conflating of importance and size. Serpentine might also be chosen, or mustelidine, for the King's relative length and width, although those were largely a matter of perspective.  Some humans might focus instead on individual, more easily grasped, features, such as the hair, which was the color of sunlight falling on snow after being cast through ice, or the eyes, which were the glowing green of uranium glass under blacklight.  Still others might fail to register those at all, and have difficulty perceiving the King in the proper dimensionality, resulting in things like limbs appearing to clip through wall, or even in the King being invisible, imperceptible, but doubtlessly present.
Those with somewhat greater measure of wisdom might instead attempt to describe the King's regalia.  The cloth cut from dazzling night, clinging to every curve, flowing, diaphanous, silky, folds and layers holding secrets unknown and unknowable.  The crown, a blazing circlet, a corona of light, the sun, eclipsed.  The ring of office, adorned with the skull of a lesser, and therefore conquered, creature.  The staff, like a tower, like a needle, like the slender trunk of a sapling, not fully grown, but rich in potential.  The sword, sharp enough to cut the fabric of spacetime, light enough to hold in one hand, a perfect void, made to divide both what was and what was not.
Or, to protect themselves and their sanity, a human may choose to focus on the King's surroundings, rather than the King's person.  The throne, which cradled the King’s body, grave, urn, and memorial, bones on an altar, a sacrifice.  The great cathedral of the King’s receiving hall, the branches of which reached up to the cosmos, the roots of which reached down to the shadows of subconscious thought.  They might look out the windows, and gaze upon the kingdom, that great kingdom of the dead, that kingdom which everyone would be a citizen of, soon or late.
But even those were not comfortable to contemplate.  Not for long.
It was easier by far to examine, and therefore describe, the King’s mental state.  There was nothing esoteric about it, after all.
Mental breakdowns were perfectly within human understanding.
Danny had been crowned only hours ago.  If he’d had a choice, he wouldn’t have been crowned at all, but as Skulker had told him years ago, the Ring of Rage and the Crown of Fire contained entities with a will of their own.  Danny had been chosen, and they weren’t going to take no for an answer.
Thus, his current predicament.
As soon as he’d been crowned… as soon as the stupid thing had touched his head…  It was like his body evaporated off of him, and into this.  This thing he could barely understand, but could feel so, so much.  This thing that was him, undeniably and completely, and which was so alien, so divorced from what he understood to be himself, that he couldn’t even begin to think about it.
He wasn’t bigger.  He wasn’t smaller.  When he counted his limbs, he had the right number.  When he touched his mouth, he had only one.  One mouth, one nose, two eyes, two ears.  Nothing had been removed.  Nothing had been added, except for those infernal crown jewels  That’s what he felt when he checked.
But he could see forwards and backwards, both down and up.  His lips were closed but he was singing, speaking, babbling, screaming.  He could feel feathers as they brushed against the throne and through the walls of the keep.  Scales scraped against stone.  Stars and nebulae tangled in his horns and antlers.
He didn’t have any of those.  His skin was intact, fleshy, and pink.  His skin was stretched to infinity, and transparent as glass, galaxies swimming beneath it.
He couldn’t breathe.  He had to breathe.  He was breathing, but the aurora spilled past his lips with every gasp.
In his mind’s eye floated the Earth.  A blue pearl against the black.  The Infinite Realms stood out like emeralds on a chain, each one precious.
He curled in the great cradle of his throne, trying not to feel, trying not to think.  He was not.  He could not.
Three years since he had really been human, and he’d never expected this.  He’d never dreamed of this.  He’d never wanted this.
Like this, he couldn’t even pretend to be human.
He clawed at the Ring and Crown, but even with so much power, what could he do against the very things that granted that power?  They didn’t go away, even when he reached for his living half.  They clung.  They constricted.  They were weights and chains he wanted to cast off.
“Daniel.”
No, said Danny, although he didn’t know how.  His word echoed.
“Daniel, you will injure yourself.”
He sobbed.
“Please, Daniel.”  A cold hand wrapped around his wrist.  It was a hand that was three hands.  Or, rather, three versions of the same hand, layered upon itself and twisted through time.
“I don’t want this,” said Danny.
“I know, Daniel.”  Shifting robes tickled the edges of wings that were not there.  A tail curled at the base of the throne, and another hand laid itself against Danny’s knee.  “You are overwhelmed.”
Until Clockwork had said it, Danny hadn’t known it was true.  But there was so much here, and all of it was him.
“You do not need to stay here,” said Clockwork, gently.  There was kindness there, and a thread of something like possession.  The words came from a well of great experience, deep and dark.  “Look up.  Anywhere you can see, you can go.  Go, and find peace from this.”
“But not forever,” said Danny.
“Nothing is forever,” said Clockwork.  “But once you find peace from this, you may someday find peace with this.  It is a long road–” here, Clockwork placed a hand on Danny’s cheek, “--but know that time is on your side.”
Danny bit his lower lip, teeth both flat and fanged, and a motion like a nod stirred the inky fabrics of his cerements.  He looked up, and all his eyes were filled with stars.

Godspell Song Ranking - by Production!
I was going to do what I normally do and just rank these songs using one production, but in this case, the songs vary so much over the three major productions that my favorite songs change for each one! For this "ranking," I'll be going chronologically (according to the original) through the songs of Godspell and talking about which production has my favorite version.
Also, I'll be omitting Tower of Babble, as it is only in one of the three productions and I have no strong feelings on it.
Productions considered in this post: Original cast recording (1971-remastered), 1973 movie soundtrack (remastered), and the New Broadway cast recording (2011).
With that out of the way, let's get right into it!
Prepare Ye (The Way of the Lord)- Winner: 1973 Movie. I just really, really like David Haskell's voice. Wallace Smith is, of course, also fantastic, and Haskell's vocals are also featured in the original cast recording, but I personally prefer the version from the film. The instrumentation is really fun, and the harmonies aren't overdone.
Save the People- Winner: 2011 Cast. The '73 movie was a close second thanks to Victor Garber's gentle and soft vibrato (which tugs at my heartstrings like crazy), but in terms of the version I listen to the most, I have to go with the 2011 version. It just feels like something you'd want to listen to every morning when you wake up. Hunter Parrish has such a clear voice that is very easy to listen to, and his version really makes the lyrics shine. A lot of changes were made to the songs in 2011, and I think the harmonies added in this song really aided it.
Day by Day- Winner: 1973 Movie. It was always gonna be a toss up between the original and the movie. As much as Anna Maria Perez de Tanglé kills it in the 2011 recording, I just have such a soft spot for Robin Lamont's voice. It's imperfect, but that adds to it in my opinion. Rather than focusing on making her voice sound perfect, she's focusing on feeling the song. Also, I personally just prefer the harmonies of this version. The harmonies in the 2011 recording are perhaps more practiced, and I do love those as well, but my heart belongs to the 1973 version in this regard.
Learn Your Lessons Well- Winner: 2011 Cast. This song was omitted from the 1973 movie, and it was simply a 1 minute 20 second long blurb in the original recording. Celisse Henderson sounds super lovely here, and the ukulele intro is fun. My favorite part of the 2011 recording of this song though has to be the part they added for Jesus. It's become one of my favorite verses in the entire play. It's just. It's so fucking beautiful. Have I mentioned yet how much I love Hunter Parrish's voice?
Bless the Lord- Winner: 2011 Cast. Lynne Thigpen sings this in the 1973 version, and I have to mention how good that is as well. She was definitely the blueprint, and there's no doubt she took everyone to church with her voice. But Lindsay Mendez. Holy. Shit. The PIPES on that woman! The runs and belts she adds are liquid gold. I watched a video of her performing this song live, and she didn't miss a beat. When she hits this one note near the last chorus, it looks like something just takes over her body. She has become one of my favorite Broadway belters. I think I listened to her version of this song eight times yesterday? And now I'm listening to it again. Call me crazy- but if you're calling me that, you probably haven't heard her sing this.
All for the Best- Winner: 1973 Movie. The clown antics are cranked up to 1000 in this one. And, in my opinion, that's exactly how it should be. Also, the last verse, where the whole cast sings together, is SO FAST. How did they do that?? Anyway, when Victor and David sing together, they're pretty hard to beat.
All Good Gifts- Winner: 2011 Cast. They really rounded up some massively talented folks for this cast. I mean, Telly Leung just sounds amazing. I love Lamar and Merrell as well; Lamar had such a consistently powerful voice and Merrell had a youthful sweetness that's really nice to listen to. But Telly really knocks it out of the park.
Light of the World- Winner: 2011 Cast. I'm giving the win to this cast a lot, but they're really just that good! The verses of this song are sometimes more spoken than sung (only Robin and Jeff in the originals really sing their parts) but George Salazar sings all the parts for this one, and it's a good thing too because I really like his voice.
Turn Back, O Man- Winner: 1973 Movie. I apologize to the Morgan James truthers. I am one of you, I swear! I just REALLY like how Joanne Jonas sings this. I also think her little ad-libs are super funny and cute ("Pardon me while I slip into something more comfortable 😏"). I also think this song in particular benefits from a less polished sound.
Alas for You- Winner: 1971 Cast. Finally! The original cast gets a win! I promise I don't dislike this version. It's not my fault this musical just gets better with every production. Anyway, I like how Stephen Nathan sings this. Victor Garber is great in the movie (even though this scene scares me 😱), and Hunter Parrish obviously sounds great, but I think Nathan did the best job of capturing the feeling of the song effortlessly.
By my Side- Tie: 1973 Movie/ 1971 Cast. A tie! I just couldn't decide which one I liked more. I think '73 has a bit of an edge, just because I absolutely adore how they handled the harmonies, especially on the line "Meet your new road," and also during the "By my Side" repetition. Peggy Gordon has such a beautiful voice though, and I couldn't leave that version out of the ranking. This is probably my favorite song from Godspell. I like the 2011 version, but it just doesn't hit as hard for me as the other two.
We Beseech Thee- Another tie: 1971 Cast/ 2011 Cast. In regards to the '71 cast: I LOVE JEFFREY MYLETT! He's one of my favorites in the movie, and he only got a few solo vocal lines in that version :(. I really wish they would've kept his song in the movie, but I'm fine with listening to the '71 version. Regarding the 2011 version, I really just like the little ad-lib part they have in this version. It's so goofy and fun. Also, the harmonies are on point.
Beautiful City- Winner: 1973 Movie. Okay so, this one wasn't on the 1971 cast recording because it was actually written for the movie. Anyway, they completely rewrote it for the 2011 cast, which I think is really cool. The newer version is beautiful and more relevant considering it was written in response to the Rodney King Riots. However, I just can't get over how much I love the original. It's very mellow gold, which is a 70s soft rock music style. It's one of my favorite genres, and the '73 version of this song is the epitome of it.
14. On the Willows- Winner: All. Oh man. This one makes me cry. The way they sing about lyres and then actually use lyres in the instrumentation in '71 and '73... I don't think I could actually compare the versions of this song. They all are so beautiful in their own ways. The first two are very similar, considering the only difference vocally is that they swapped out Jesse Cutler for Victor Garber. I will say I wish they kept the lyre usage for the 2011 version. The vocals in that version, though, are just stunning. Everything about this song is stunning.
15. Finale- Winner: 1973 Movie. Whenever I listen to these soundtracks, I usually stop at "On The Willows," same as how I stop at "Superstar" when I listen to JCS. I'm guess I'm just too emotionally fragile to listen to a Crucifixion everyday 🥲. I think Victor Garber has the most impactful portrayal in this song, though. I do really like the 2011 version as well with how they include the new version of "Beautiful City." However, '73 has my heart, especially with the "Day by Day" reprise being included so perfectly.
Sorry for the weird formatting at the end there- Tumblr didn't like how long my list was getting 😪
But yeah, let me know what you think of my list and of Godspell in general! Thanks for reading ❤️

Sleeping Beauty Spring: "Dornröschen" ("Briar Rose")/"Sleeping Beauty" (1955 German film)
Tumblr media
This West German film is one of many cinematic fairy tales to come out of Germany in the 1950s and the early '60s, and one of several to be dubbed into English by Childhood Productions as fodder for Saturday "kiddie matinees" in America. Having already seen two of that company's other dubbed releases, Fritz Genschow's Cinderella and Erich Kobler's Snow White, I looked forward to seeing this Sleeping Beauty, knowing that like the other two, it would probably be fairly corny, but still charming. I was right.
Like the same year's West German Cinderella, this Sleeping Beauty was directed by Fritz Genschow, who also co-wrote the script with Renée Stobrawa. Both Genschow and Stobrawa appear onscreen too, as the King and the castle housekeeper Miss Hustlebustle. (Just as they both appeared in Cinderella as the heroine's father and the Fairy Godmother.) The cast also features Angela von Leitner as Princess Briar Rose and Gert Reinholm as Prince Charming.
In the opening scene, with her husband away on business of state, the lonely Queen wanders the castle grounds longing for a child, until she discovers a mysterious tower in a remote spot. Unbeknownst to her, this is the home of the Wicked Fairy, who gives the Queen a potion that will let her conceive child, on the condition that she invite the Fairy to the christening as a godmother. In truth, the child born from that potion will be evil and ugly. But a magical statue of a frog comes to life and prevents the Queen from drinking it, urging her instead to bathe in a lake enchanted by twelve good fairies. The result, of course, is the birth of a lovely little princess, and the twelve good fairies are invited to the christening. The good fairies are beauties in white robes, each with a headdress of enormous flowers on her head; by contrast, the Wicked Fairy wears black robes and a headdress decked with dead plants. The death curse she places on the princess is softened to sleep by the Rose Fairy.
Sixteen years later, the castle celebrates Briar Rose's birthday. Extensive comic relief is provided by a bevy of mischievous little kitchen boys, whom the cook, Mr. Puddingbowl, struggles to keep in line, while also pursuing a December/December romance with the housekeeper Miss Hustlebustle. Meanwhile, the Wicked Fairy disguises herself as an old woman and approaches Briar Rose, inviting her to come to her tower for a special birthday present. Briar Rose declines at first because her party guests are arriving. But at the ball she finds herself courted by a buffoonish suitor, Prince Suchabore, the son of King Bubble and Queen Babble. To get away from him, she sneaks off to the tower, where of course the "old woman" is waiting with a spindle.
As the Wicked Fairy spreads her curse through the castle grounds, the court doesn't physically fall asleep; instead they all freeze in place like statues, with some of them posed in comical positions for the next hundred years. (Mr. Puddingbowl about to box a kitchen boy's ear, another boy swinging on a string of onions, one man just about to sneeze, etc.) The twelve good fairies then surround the castle with a protective hedge of rosebushes. Many princes over the years try to fight their way through the thorns – we see a montage of them in their assorted colorful, exotic costumes – only to die and transform into red roses on the hedge.
At long last, however, Prince Charming arrives, and he learns the story of Briar Rose from a group of peasant children singing a folksong about her. (One based on the real German children's song "Dornröschen war ein schönes Kind," sometimes known in English as "There Was a Princess Long Ago.") Then from an old man, he gains a flute to summon the twelve good fairies. When he makes his way through the briars and is led by the magic frog to the tower, the Wicked Fairy conjures up a herd of hideous monsters to stop him. But the Prince's sword and the twelve good fairies' magic defeats them and the Wicked Fairy disappears. Prince Charming wakes Briar Rose with a kiss, the royal court unfreezes with no idea that a hundred years went by, and all live happily ever after.
As I expected, this is a slightly clunky Sleeping Beauty. But it's an endearing one all the same, filmed in lush green settings, with pretty 18th century-inspired costumes, and with enjoyable creative touches that don't detract from its basic faithfulness to the Grimms' tale.
I do wish I could see the original German version of the film and not just the English dubbed version, though. Like Childhood Productions' other dubs of German fairy tale films, this dub adds excessive voiceover narration by Paul Tripp, as well as fairly charming yet forgettable songs by Milton and Anne Delugg.
An essential Sleeping Beauty this isn't, but it's still an enjoyable sample of 1950s German fairy tale cinema.

Phantom Blood Musical: Encounter With Jack the Ripper Rough Translation
[Jonathan]
Thank you, Speedwagon. I appreciate it
[Speedwagon]
My inside information is reliable. It looks like Wang Chan took refuge in this area
[Zeppeli]
This is where Dio will realize his empire. We must find him while the sun still shines
[Speedwagon]
We're entering the tunnel! It's the entrance to the town
[Zeppeli]
Yes, it appears we're right on schedule
[Speedwagon]
Hey, what's wrong?! Why did you stop?
HUH?!
[Jonathan]
Careful, the sun doesn't reach here!
[Speedwagon]
L-Look! The horse—! The horse is—!
[Jonathan]
What in the devil is he?!
[Speedwagon]
He crawled into the horse's body—
[Jack]
*incomprehensible*
I will taste your fresh blood!!
[Speedwagon]
Mr. Joestar!
[Zeppeli]
You two, stand back. I shall fight him
JoJo! Here's a tactical thought
You know fleas, yes? Those insects will challenge us towering humans
But could that be called courage?
[Jack]
What are you babbling about!?
[Zeppeli]
So, what exactly is courage?
Fear is what turns our breathing irregular! If you overcome that fear, your breathing won't be disrupted!
Hamon breathing is the product of courage! A hymn to humanity is a hymn to courage!
The greatness of humanity is the greatness of courage!
However strong they may be, those zombies do not know courage
They are exactly like fleas
[Jack]
It's hot… IT'S HOT!!
How dare you…
I'll make sure to kill you all…
Without fail!
I'll slice you into minced meat and devour you…
[Jonathan]
A hidden passage in the tunnel!
[Speedwagon]
Windknight's Lot…
I heard that this place has all sorts of mechanisms for the knights' training,
And that there is also a vast underground cemetery
[Zeppeli]
He must be inviting us
We should go
[Jonathan]
Yes. I'm sure Dio is just up ahead

Lights, Camera, Action! Stunning Locations in the UK to Shoot Your Next Masterpiece
Tumblr media
Looking to shoot a cool reel for your Instagram, a music video or even a film? The United Kingdom boasts a wealth of captivating landscapes and architecturally rich settings, making it a filmmaker's paradise. Whether you're crafting a heart-wrenching indie flick, a pulse-pounding music video, or a social media reel, the UK offers a diverse backdrop to bring your creative vision to life. For the history buff with a camera, Scotland's dramatic castles like Eilean Donan or Dunvegan provide a touch of medieval charm. Imagine epic battle scenes or brooding monologues set against the backdrop of these ancient fortresses, their windswept ramparts whispering tales of the past. London, a bustling metropolis, offers a different kind of grandeur. Iconic landmarks like Tower Bridge or Buckingham Palace can add a touch of quintessential British flair to your production. Explore the cobbled streets of Notting Hill for a quirky, bohemian vibe, or capture the fast-paced energy of Piccadilly Circus for a truly urban feel. The rolling hills and picturesque villages of the Cotswolds are perfect for a story that oozes quintessential English charm. Think thatched-roof cottages adorned with vibrant flowers, charming country pubs, and babbling brooks – a scene straight out of a Jane Austen novel. For a taste of the otherworldly, head north to the Scottish Highlands. The dramatic landscapes, with their rugged mountains, vast lochs (lakes), and sweeping valleys, are guaranteed to leave a lasting impression. Imagine a lone figure silhouetted against a fiery sunset over the Isle of Skye, or capture the mystical allure of the standing stones at Callanish. Wales, with its dramatic coastlines and moody mountains, offers a wild, untamed beauty. The dramatic cliffs of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park or the fairytale-like beauty of Snowdonia National Park are perfect backdrops for stories that evoke a sense of adventure and mystery. But the UK's beauty isn't limited to wide-open spaces. Abandoned industrial sites offer a unique, post-apocalyptic aesthetic. Picture a gritty music video set against the backdrop of a derelict steelworks, or a dystopian film shot in a forgotten warehouse.Don't forget the power of the unexpected. Keep your eyes peeled for hidden alleyways, quirky cafes, or colorful street art – sometimes the most captivating locations are the ones you stumble upon unexpectedly. So, grab your camera, unleash your creativity, and get ready to explore the UK's cinematic treasures. With its diverse landscapes, rich history, and vibrant culture, the UK is a filmmaker's playground waiting to be discovered. IMAGINARY | Trailer and Stills

The forest is a magical place, with its towering trees, lush greenery, and seemingly endless array of sounds. But have you ever stopped to think about what those sounds are doing to your mind and body? Studies have shown that exposure to the sounds of nature can have a profound impact on our health and wellbeing. Just listening to the sound of rustling leaves or a babbling brook can promote feelings of peace and relaxation, reducing stress and anxiety levels. But the benefits go even deeper than that. The sounds of the forest can also have a positive impact on our physical health. For example, research has shown that exposure to sounds of nature can lead to a decrease in heart rate, blood pressure, and cortisol levels. But what is it about these sounds that makes them so beneficial? It turns out that the simple act of listening to nature sounds can activate our parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for the body's "rest and digest" response. This, in turn, can lead to a decrease in the levels of stress hormones in the body and an increase in the production of "feel good" hormones like serotonin and dopamine. So how can we take advantage of these benefits in our daily lives? One simple way is to incorporate nature sounds into our daily routines. Consider listening to recordings of the sounds of the forest as you work, relax, or even during meditation or yoga practice. You can also make an effort to spend more time in nature itself. Take a walk in the woods, sit by a stream, or even spend some time gardening. The simple act of being outside and surrounded by the sounds of nature can have a profound impact on the mind and body. In conclusion, unlocking the secrets of forest sounds can have a significant impact on our wellbeing. By taking the time to listen to the sounds of nature and spending time in the great outdoors, we can reduce stress, promote relaxation, and improve our overall health and quality of life. So next time you find yourself in the woods, take a moment to stop and listen - your mind and body will thank you. Unlocking the Secrets of Forest Sounds: How it Affects our Minds and Bodies

Platonic yandere!Kaeya & child!gn!reader
Wordcount: 2195
A.N.: My first time writing platonic yanderes, hope you'll enjoy.
It's an impulsive decision for the most part - taking you, that is.
Kaeya trudges through the Wolfendom forest, a couple of his underlings, Addler and Otto, following behind as they trail a group of treasure hoarders. Criminal gang must have known that knights are on their tail, there's no other explanation for their sudden fleeing, leaving an already broken camp behind and taking only the most valuable possessions.
It's raining and he silently curses, even if this will give him advantage in battle, but archons, it's so cold. Huge droplets fall on the ground with a resounding sound, drenching everything and turning the forest landscape deep into nigh impassable terrain. Mud clings to their feet, slowing the group down, as the Sun starts to set. Sky turns all shades of purple and red, dimming light throwing the last rays over the Mondstadt as the darkness settles, yet Kaeya and his group still carry forward through the palisade of tall trees.
“Sir”, Otto carefully starts: “It seems that criminals are already several miles away from us”.
Kaeya nods for the knight to continue, already knowing that it will be an ask to stop - the weather is hellish and the rain is one of the heaviest Kaeya has ever had to experience.
“With how strong this rainfall is, the gang's traces will be gone in under an hour”
"All the more reasons to push on and catch them then", Alberich replies, paying zero attention to Adler's slight trembling or Otto's teeth chattering. The group continues on their path through descending darkness, their footsteps hasting despite the clinging and growing fatigue.
Suddenly, as the knights make their way around the cliff, a slight whimper is heard. It's human enough to stop the group - maybe some unlucky civilian got in the way of the gang, maybe criminals left their injured one. Kaeya just nods to the pair, as Otto and Adler unsheathe their weapons, wordlessly understanding the gesture.
Cavalry captain takes a step into the forest pit with a raised sword, all sight and ears, light blue vision on his belt shining and flickering both in caution and anticipation. He walks slowly and quietly, like a cat, careful not to step on the leaves and twigs lying around, and then he sees you.
You are a child, all thin and small in the way that the sick are. There are dark circles under your tired eyes, and the scrapes all over your body. You look already dead. He runs up to you, as he sees your figure swaying and knees buckling, saving you from the fall. Your skin burns Kaeya as he carries you back to the knights - it must be fever then. You blink at him several times, saying something, but your voice is too small and weak to make out anything among the droplets falling, and then you stop, eyes rolling back and head lolling to the side. You blacked out.
He thinks about handing your body to either of the knights and then continuing to run after the gang into the knight, but then decides against it - heavy rain must have blurred all the footsteps they left. Adler almost fails. You escape your delirium a couple of times, babbling words about forest and rain and wolves, and Kaeya, despite his focus on the trail ahead, can't help but listen to what you say. It's childish nonsense for the most part, an incomprehensible product of the feverish mind, yet sometimes you say meaningful things - I thought I would die, I got scared of wolf howls, The rain was so cold.
Some small part of him shrinks and aches at these words, a long buried hurt resurfacing once again. Kaeya frowns and huffs as he tries to get rid of the images of the days long gone in his mind - rainy night, hunger, pain, cold, he will die here. His lips quirk and a humorless laugh escapes him - the irony is painful.
He drops you off at the church, concerned Barbara taking you to the hospital and Kaeya, after a brief report to Jean, goes home, his mind still stuck on the memories of days long past. You will be fine, he tells himself, the church has good healers and the orphanage is nearby. Once you get better, you’ll get sent there, where devoted nuns will raise to be another disciple.
You had a look of a deadman - a strange catatonic serenity was radiating off of you, as you looked at the captain with a glazed yet piercing eyes, both seeing him and through him. It’s cold, so cold, yet no one is here. There are hot tears on his face, wet tracks burning his skin. His tummy is empty and aching, cold bites at his limbs, but Kaeya patiently waits for the adult to return. Father said that Kaeya was their last hope, so sure he would never leave him to die, right?
Cavalry captain barely sleeps through the night, memories and inner demons eating him from inside. When he does manage to doze off, a vague picture of darkening forests and howling winds wake him up, a fervent chanting buzzing in his head - Where is his father? Where is his father? Where is his father?.
Kaeya comes to you the next day, as his shift ends, legs heading to the towering church at the top on their own. Barbara leads him to your bed, your unconscious form lying limply. Idol explains your health issues to him - fever, malnutrition, inflammation, common cold and slight poisoning. The scratches you had yesterday were healed, Barbara says, but the rest of the problems can't be easily fixed with a bit of a hydro.
"Then, what medicines do they need?", Kaeya asks, understanding the unspoken words. The Church of Favonius, despite the large funding it receives from the city's treasury, still lacks a lot of resources and materials. People are free to come and get cured, without having a single mora to pay, which means that most of the remedies disappear at an alarming rate - be it some herbal balm for aching joints or a simple linen bandage.
The idol rustles in the hidden pockets of her dress, taking out a pencil and sheet of paper and begins to write, the list grows as Kaeya’s eyebrows get higher and higher. There are dried Liyuen herbs, exotic Sumeru fruits, specially treated Snezhnayan and Fontaine tinctures and medicines.
Kaeya is taken aback for a second by the sheer length of the final list - most of the items will have to be ordered and shipped and despite his salary of the captain allowing such expenses, it’s still strange to spend so much mora - a complete stranger. Captain contemplates just leaving you there - nuns will take care of you, but the hurt resurfaces again and he sees another person lying on the small hospital bed - little him, scared and confused.
He ends up buying all the listed things, and despite his efforts not to, continues to regularly check up on you when he has time. Sometimes, Barbara says, you wake up from your slumber, enough to utter some confused noises and questions, but then you drowse off again, both sickness and medicine pulling you back to sleep.
Kaeya, to his displeasure, never catches you conscious in time, until he comes one evening, expecting to spend the time looking at you sleeping again only to see you half sitting on the bed. Your posture gets straight the second you notice him too, an expression of confusion and fear appearing on your face.
"Hello", Kaeya starts, slowly walking up towards you, keeping his posture small and voice as friendly as possible:"I am that knight who carried you here, remember?", he explains, seeing the further abashment on you face.
You nod at him, prompting him to continue:"So, I just decided to visit you to ask you how you got in the forest and why were you alone"
"Sister Barbara said that you came here almost everyday," you reply, voice absolutely flat and face having no expression. Kaeya looks at you briefly - it’s rare for children to speak in such a cold manner, you must have something on your mind then.
"Yes, I did" , he says in the same friendly tone.
"Just to know why I was in the forest?" , your voice betrays you, a hint of hurt seeping into it. Ah, that’s why you asked.
"Hm, of course no! I also wanted to see you get better" , he smiles at the end, leaning a bit closer to you. You mull over his words, thinking of their sincerity, and then a later second you say, with much less caution and guard up:
"Well I am better now and…" you get silent for a good minute:"I don't remember why I was there. I think it's because of the fever". Your voice becomes strangely controlled again - you lie to Kaeya, you didn’t forget anything. A part of cavalry captain swells and purrs, recognizing himself in you,
"Do you want to live with me?". He asks instead of trying to get the truth out of you. Your eyes shine and a surprised noise comes out of your mouth at his suggestion - something between a squeak and high pitched yelp.
His apartment isn't the best place to bring the child in - there are far too many bottles and not enough food - Kaeya lives off the takeout from the Good hunter and the skewers he grills when missions call him to leave the city walls. Nonetheless, you don’t look too disgusted with his living conditions, so he considers it a win, as he heads for the tiny kitchen to make you a soup.
It turns out a bit burnt in the end - Kaeya added too much wood to the stove, but you still gulp it down, not leaving anything and thank him for the meal. He makes a mental note to buy you a bed - right now you’re sleeping on a small couch, and clothes to change.
You are a quiet child, too fast to apologize for the smallest mistakes and wary of him when he’s in a foul mood - it gives Kaeya an idea why you were in the woods. Your days together flow slowly and steady with Kaeya falling into routine - he wakes up, makes a breakfast for the both of you, you eat it, as you shyly tell him about your newest interest or finding - a drawing, a strange bug, a shiny rock of unusual colour, then he leaves for work, instructing you to go to the neighbours if you have issues, and leaving a premade dinner for you. Then he comes back, now listening to you talking about your day - you were drawing again, or you played with the other kids, or you were running and catching the butterflies, the now dead insects left for him to look at.
It’s a mundane life, something that Kaeya thought will never please him. There is a large pit inside of him - it was growing and festering with years - Khaenri’ah, father, Diluc, Crepus, that fight. It’s ugly and snarling and thoroughly scorched, a part of his soul that keeps him awake and anxious and angry and sad during bad nights. The pit quiets a bit when Kaeya takes care of you - toys, foods, games, the same way he wishes he was treated as a child.
Crepus Ragnvindr was a nice person, he took Kaeya in, clothed and fed and kept him safe for years, yet there was always an invisible line that separated Khaenri'ahn from Diluc - warmer voice, higher expectations, more praise. Kaeya doubts Crepus noticed this truly tiny gap in treatment, Diluc for sure didn’t. Alberich did his best to ignore it, yet he couldn’t, this difference nagged him at the back of his mind, alienating him in the newfound home.
That must be why he does his best to spoil you - it's new toys and furniture and evening walks around the Mondstadt with you on his shoulders. Soon, a new rumour starts to travel around Mondstadt - about a stray being picked up by another stray. Amber seemingly forgives him for the incident with Collei, Jean gives him a raise the same month, for child expenses, she succinctly says, Albedo off handedly mentions Klee and her desire for friendships, even Lisa gives him a couple of fairytale books, warning him what will happen if he will be late to return them beforehand. Diluc doesn't comment on the irony the next time they happen to meet, but he sees some Dawn Winery workers looking after you, when he is busy with Favonius stuff.
Kaeya, for the first time in years, feels truly happy. He has family again - you and him this time and he's willing to smother you with affections. He buys you things he wishes he had, and teaches you the skills he thinks will help you in life - how to fight, how to lie, how to kill someone with words alone.
It's a strange love he has for you - never seeing you as you - but it's genuine and all encompassing. Kaeya doesn't want little him to suffer again.

Things for littles or caregivers to do on sad days
Some of these might be weird but they all have explanations, bear with me. Also, they're not in any particular order, it's just a list for everyone
Clean your room- I know, I know, cleaning is no fun but most of the times when we're having sad days and aren't productive, we feel bad that we weren't productive. And if that doesn't happen to you, not only does it give your mind something else to think about but I guarantee you'll feel better once you're in a clean environment. And you can always listen to music
Make a nest or fort- Nests and forts or even a hiding place you might have in your Ikea shelf bed are perfect for sealing the outside world away. If you share a room, please ask your roommate to leave your fort alone and if they're not respective of that, nests are more discreet
Hug your stuffies- Yes, even you caregivers. You can have a stuffie as a caregiver, they're not just for littles. Some people have stuffies and don't even know what age regression is. But when you're sad, your stuffies get sad too so you guys have to hug until you feel better. If you have more than 1, be sure to rotate or hug more than 1 at once
Talk to your stuffie- Your stuffie is there to help YOU. That's YOUR comfort object so you can use them as your own personal therapist if you want (please try to get a real one if you need to, stuffies aren't great problem solvers). If you don't feel like talking, babble or have them read your mind
Eat yummy foods- If eating food doesn't help or food is the reason you're having a bad day or maybe you're sick, skip this part (though, please try to eat when you can). You can make soup or cereal or yogurt or Mac and cheese or chicken nuggets, whatever you want, it's your sad day. Don't eat too many sweets and try not to overstuff yourself
Drink plenty of liquids- It can be juice or water or milk (make sure to meet the 8-10 cups of water a day requirement). Soda probably isn't the best for little ones but caregivers, feel free as long as you're responsible. Definitely drink water if you've been crying to avoid dehydration headaches which brings me to my next point
Cry- I know what you're thinking but crying helps. You don't have to cry in front of anyone but if you feel like you have to, just let it out. Crying releases gross toxins that stress makes that could get you sick so it's scientifically proven that crying is good
Please please please take a break- Don't do ANY WORK. Unless it's something you enjoy as a hobby like diying pacifiers or making bracelets, don't do it. And don't do it to fill out any orders, you'll stress yourself out. If you feel like you need something to do to distract you, try coloring or playing out a fairytale with your dolls or racing trucks or building towers with blocks
Rest- Take a nap, try to get a full 8-10 hours of sleep, whatever you need to do to feel better. You don't even have to sleep, just relax
Take a bubble bath- Yes, it has to be a bubble bath. Shampoo or body wash can make bubbles if you don't have bubble bath solution. Add toys if you want to and can, some of your stuffies can even take baths with you (make sure they can by reading the tags). You can even add a face mask to make it more fun. Then, sink in and relax

MC's Family Finds Out that They're Actually Dating a Demon the Hard Way
Demon boys more or less going demon on the MC's family. Bound to happen really. This one ain’t so cuddly guys. Special thanks to @anonimo324 for the inspiration for this one. Literally never would have occurred to me if they hadn't have said something and I love the excuse to revisit this idea. 😄
Check out the Masterlist for more!
IMPORTANT: Continuation to "Demon Brothers Meeting the MC's Family" The general setup to this post is in that one.
Lucifer
You know what they say about things that seem too good to be true, right?
Oh, their MC's new boyfriend was smooth, put together, intelligent…
And prideful. So very prideful.
It radiated off of him like no tomorrow, there was just a subtle but constant air of superiority to everything the man did or said. Some may find it attractive but others? It can drive other people right up the wall.
And that's exactly what it did to some members of the MC's family. Even if he seemed educated and well-spoken what made him think he was so special? What made him think he was just so much better than the rest of the world??
They couldn't have known just how angry he'd get when they confronted him about it.
They couldn't have known that they weren’t questioning an arrogant man, but a prideful demon who'd take offense at the mere thought of being anywhere near their level.
It was only when he stood towering before them, demonic wings and horns in full view, did they learn the folly of their actions.
In their hospital beds, bones broken and bodies bruised, they'd rant and rave to anyone who'd listen "He's a demon! A demon! My child/sibling/etc. is dating a demon!!"
The MC disappeared with Lucifer that night, however. Their family writes them off as either dead or kidnapped for torture purposes.
In truth, they returned to the Devildom and Lucifer will never hear the end of how he lost control and attempted to skewer the MC's family members. Surely such a mighty demon should have better control than that... 🙄😑
Mammon
His dumbass let it slip a couple months in, but not without good reason for once.
He had actually been doing pretty well with their family. Sure he wasn't perfect,  but he made it clear enough he was looking out for MC and honestly the rest of them as well.
It was small things. Checking up on them sometimes. Making sure the little ones, if any, were safe. Not stealing anything that isn't nailed down (though that's something the MC notices more than their family of course).
It takes a lot. A lot. A LOT to make Mammon break out his demon form. He's better at keeping it in than Lucifer. But showing him something that’s threatening MC is actually a pretty quick why to do it.
The family was out together on a shopping trip, a giddy Mammon included because he knew that meant he could beg ask the MC to buy him stuff.
They really should have checked before they started strolling down the damn crosswalk, but they didn't, and an impatient taxi went hurtling towards them.
Before they could even open their eyes Mammon was already lecturing them about their stupidity, holding them on the other side of the street. Shirtless because his demon form was out and the dumbass forgot to hide it again. Even though they were in public.
He was quick to change back once he noticed, but the damage was done. You can say their family was a little surprised that he straight up grew wings and horns. Only one of them fainted anyway.
To avoid causing further panic, Mammon just legs it away with MC still in his arms, shouting back an quick expletive laced "apology" over his shoulder.
MC smooths things over with their family later by phone. No one can quite wrap their head around the fact that Mammon is a demon, despite what they had seen, but it helps that he did seem to want to protect them.
The MC is not allowed to come home if they want to bring their demon boyfriend too, but their family isn't as worried about them as they could be. Mammon's looking out for them after all.
Leviathan
Okay. They always knew the boy was a little weird but hot damn did that opinion suddenly go from 0 to 60 real quick.
Levi was distant and off-putting at first but in time it became pretty clear that he was just pretty awkward. He wasn't the best with people, but he seemed harmless enough.
It was the MC's idea to bring him along on a family weekend trip to the beach. They honestly couldn't understand why at first. He never seemed to like being with them...
It DID start to click for them a little more when they saw the guy in the water though. They can say it's probably the first time they'd ever seen him so comfortable in his own skin. He even started smiling!
Things were actually going smoothly for them all for once… until other people started taking notice of MC in their swimsuit and one bold gentleman decided to make a cheeky comment on it.
Now, Levi had always stuck close to MC when he was around them. He was practically a second shadow. But it seemed like the second he took notice of those glances he got extra clingy and after that comment.. he started to have a meltdown.
The once bold gentleman was kindly picked up by the neck and hurdled into the ocean like a Frisbee. It would have been hilarious if it weren't so horrifying.
It was about the time that the lad grew a snake tail that the MC's family peaced out off the beach, screaming in terror. MC and Levi left too, mostly because Levi was hellbent on dragging them back to the Devildom in a jealous rage. Obviously THIS is the kind of shit that happens when he leaves his room!
No plans are ever made to go visit again, which he's very happy about. He hated being out in "the real world" anyway.
Satan
Nice as he could be, that temper was bound to catch up to him eventually…
There would be small incidents. A kid cuts him off on the sidewalk and he'd get a little loud and snippy about it. A dog won't stop barking at him and he'd just glare and send it away with a terrified whimper. These things were… worrisome. But not all that demonic.
Then other red flags started showing up. A person on the street would be rude to him and he'd look honestly ready to kill. It'd take MC physically holding him back to keep him in place. Their family was worried about them… Had they'd fallen victim to a possible abuser...?
MC had never listened to what their family had to say, always claiming that they were perfectly safe with their boyfriend. That he had to listen to what they said. But no one really bought that…
Well if there is one way to piss Satan off (and there are many) probably the fastest and most lethal is to doubt his intelligence. Especially if you're only one of those everyday, average humans...
That poor employee at the bookstore had no idea what kind of mistake they made when he told Satan he wasn't looking for Camus but Kafka then refused to double check. Satan doesn't make mistakes about his authors. Ever.
What was originally just supposed to be a relaxing afternoon with the family turned into a night in the station as everyone was questioned about the employee whose head got flattened against the store counter-top. The police weren't entirely convinced a demon did it, but they would look for a blonde.
Said demon had chucked MC over his shoulder and took off before the police arrived to investigate, which as far as they're concerned also kind of amounts to kidnapping.
Satan's now a fugitive in the MC's hometown and on the FBI's Most Wanted List so safe to say that they won't really be visiting anymore.
Asmodeus
Not as surprised as you might think. There were some signs…
Asmo had a bewitching quality to him that went well into the unnatural. He could soothe and win over right about any person or animal to an… uncomfortable degree.
He also kept bringing up and babbling about nonsense products all the time. He always seemed to have the perfect hair treatment or know the best drinks but no one else had ever heard of any of it. What the heck even is Demonus…?
But the real kicker was, well, just how lustful he was. There were horn dogs and then there was this guy. It felt like he could flirt with a potted plant sometimes.
Though he was nice, no one in their house thought Asmo was faithful to MC. And even if he were, his blatant willingness to tease right about anyone he came across was showing them disrespect.
Unfortunately, they had made the poor decision to confront him about it and claim that he didn't actually "love" MC….
There are few things more brutal and less forgiving than an enraged Asmo. Here he was with these humans, people he had been nothing but nice to, and they were doubting his love for MC?? What gave them the right!?
He had his demon form out and his whip already raised to teach these slanderers a lesson! Even if he had grown to like some of them, his anger took over his reason and he had to vent his displeasure NOW.
The MC stepped in before he could crack the whip and made him stop. Their family was terrified but he charmed them into calming down while he and MC talked things out.
They (by which I mean mostly a fuming Asmo) decided that since their family couldn't understand their love for each other, they didn't deserve to see it.
They leave the house calmly and don't come back. MC still sometimes calls their family, but they refuse to leave the Devildom or their beautiful fallen angel, no matter how much their family pleads for them to come home.
Beelzebub
On the one hand, absolutely no one wants to believe it… But it also does make a lot of things make more sense in hindsight.
Like, he was built like a linebacker so it was sort of understandable just how many calories his body seemed to need but there was a limit.
He. Just. Kept. Eating. Never-endingly hungry. Always poking through the kitchen or ordering a mountain of pizzas. More impressively, he never made any leftovers… Ever.
He was such a sweetheart though… They tried to turn a blind eye for a while. Make excuses and rationalize the impossible… but it couldn't last.
It was only supposed to be one nice dinner out. MC had gone over the rules with him ten times before going, "This is a human restaurant and I'm paying, so you HAVE to stop at thirds. Okay? Okay??"
He tried. But the food was sooo good, he just couldn’t stop! And, like clockwork, here comes the manager to cut him off and there goes an angry Beel. Full demon form, tossing tables and wrecking chairs to everyone's absolute horror.
MC had to use the pact to stop him. They could only leave their family with a quick goodbye before they had to book it from the cops on Beel's back as he flew away.
To say there was a mini-meltdown among the members left behind would be an understatement. What the HELL just happened to the sweet young man they had come to know???
The damages were paid for by Lucifer a "mysterious donor" and everything was explained to their family by MC over video call from the Devildom with a very guilty and apologetic Beel in attendance.
When it was clear that the MC wasn't going to leave him or literal Hell despite their protests, they either had to accept it or never hear from them again. Members made their choices, but it's pretty hard to stay mad at someone they've grown to like so much...
He's no longer allowed to go visit them in the human world (which is probably for the best) but shows up on MC's video calls regularly. They still kind of think of him as family even if he could eat them all. He's just such a nice lad, you know?
Belphegor
…. You know, there was always something kind of off about that kid.
It was always hard to place what made Belphie so… different. It could have been the way he never seemed to take any of them seriously or the kind of amazing lack of energy he brought to things.
It also could have been the fact he kept making comments about being a demon, going to "hell," knowing Satan personally, etc. but always played them off as jokes.
Honestly when it finally came out that yes, he was actually a demon, it was almost a relief because it made waaaay more sense than not.
Still fucking terrifying, though.
One of their family members had made the mistake of waking him up from a nap when he and MC were there for a visit
Now. It's not easy to wake Belphie even on a good day but an airhorn to the face is probably not the way to go about it.
When he sent said family member soaring out the window, one-handed, with his horns and tail on full display and a familiar look of murder in his eyes, MC knew the charade was pretty much up...
True to his word, Belphie doesn't let some humans keep MC away from him. He scooped them up and hopped out the broken window before they could really even protest or explain anything.
Which, I mean, how does one even go about smoothing over the fact your demon boyfriend just yeeted one of your family members out of the house?
Their family is kind of able to put two and two together themselves regardless. Which is good because neither Belphie or MC are probably coming back any time soon. If ever. Hope they enjoy postcards...

Part 4
Tony had been worried about you since you refused to leave the bed for the past week, and so when he basically hauled your ass out of it and carried you to his car like you were a potato bag you had been giving him the silent treatment, glaring at him from the corner of your eyes while you pouted like a child with your arms crossed over the chest and looking out the window, refusing to acknowledge him at all.
You had no idea where he was driving to. Not that he hadn't said it, you just weren't really paying much attention, and so you let him babble all he wanted during the car drive, and when he started to sing loudly to some music, you just slipped further down the passenger seat and did your hardest to keep the smile from your lips.
When the car started to slow down to make a right, onto an unmarked dirt road, you knew the trip was coming to an end. The scenery around you told you noting about where you were, there were trees all around you on both sides of the narrow road, and nothing to tell them apart.
The trees gave way to a clearing, and what appeared to be the biggest building site you've ever seen, complete with a big gate, that opened on its own once Tony's car got closer, and a driveway leading to what looked like the main building.
"We're here." Tony said, turning off the car once he got it closer to the front door. You were still trying to process it all.
"And… what's here?"
"This is the Avenger's Compound. Right now I believe we needed some away time from that stuffy tower. Besides, there's more nature around here, perfect for all your…. wolf needs." he got out of the car and circled around it, opening the door for you to get out and take a good look around you for the first time.
You could see a lot of other buildings, some looking more like storage units than not, and a bigger one in the distance that looked like it was more of a training area, with some quinjets parked outside. There also seemed to be a dock, but it was covered with some trees in front of it, so it was difficult to see it. All this is surrounded by woods from all sides. It was perfect.
"Come on now, let's get the tour started."
— — — — —
"and here is where you'll be sleeping, while we're staying in the compound." tony said, after dragging you for the past 3 hours across every room of the building, talking on and on about what they were used for.
This room was like many others he had just shown you. Small living area right when you walked in, an open raised bedroom to the back of the room, accessible by two steps that went from one side of the room to the other, and a small bathroom fitted with a wet room.
The room was by all means, pretty. But you hated it. You hated it because it felt empty and cold, and the air smelled like cleaning products. But most importantly you hated it because it didn't smell like them.
You were grateful Tony tried to take your mind off of the mission by taking you here, but it also meant you didn't have access to Steve's and Bucky's room, their comforting smell the only thing keeping you from going out in search of them in the first place.
But you couldn't tell that to tony, after all, he was just trying to help you get out of your depressive state, and to that you were grateful.
"So, what do you think?" you hear him ask.
"It's a bit too … big."
"Well, yes, this is the training facility for a lot of agents. That's why it is so big."
"But… I didn't see anyone else during the tour." you say confused.
"Well it's all free for you to explore at the moment. I've cleared it out so you could have some privacy to use the grounds outside in… you know…. in your wolfy state." that made you chuckle.
"Thanks, Tony, beats being closed in the tower all day. It is a pretty view, I must say."
"Glad you like it, I'll let you be and settle down for now." he says while walking out of the door. You walked to the window in the far corner of the room and oped it, letting the breeze from outside bring the smells from the woods into the space.
You could feel your wolf snarling and fighting to get out, and so you didn't let it caged inside your human form for long. You could feel your canines grow, and your bones shift into place, the pain might have been dull after this many transformations, but it was still mildly uncomfortable to feel them snap and break. Your fur was growing to cover all your exposed skin, jumping out of the window into the ground beneath you was all the time needed to finish shifting. You took off running at top speed to the woods the very next moment.
The woods outside of the compound were a blessing in disguise. Being able to run free was something you loved to do, and the tower couldn't provide the space to accommodate it. so you enjoyed the entire day running around outside and napping under a tree when the sun was high enough in the sky.
Once the sun starts to settle down you walk inside, and go in search of Tony, despite having enjoyed the alone time in the woods, you've been alone for the past days in the tower as well, so some company was appreciated.
You return to the room through the window you had left opened previously and walk to the dresser, your naked skin blooming with goosebumps from the cold air in the room. You take some sweatpants and a jumper and go in search of Tony.
You sniff the air around you, searching for the faint traces of Tony's expensive cologne, and follow the scent to the second level, into an endless corridor of offices and meeting rooms, his faint voice can be heard from afar, talking to someone you couldn't hear.
You walk towards the room, and open the door gently, Tony turns to you, smiles, and bids goodbye to the other person on the call.
"Good news, they're returning tonight." that got your attention right away.
"They are?"
"Yes, just spoke to an agent, a quinjet has been dispatched to go pick them up at the safe location, and they should be back in about 7 hours or so. It might take a bit more since debriefing can take longer."
"They've been gone for two weeks, and you guys never told me anything about their mission, I really thought they were hurt, or worse, dead."
"What?! Nah, c'mon Fang, it's Captain America and the Winter Soldier we're talking about here, nothing can tear them apart."
Waiting for them, now that you know they were returning was somehow more tortuous than this past two weeks without them. You were antsy the entire dinner with Tony, Nat and Sam, that had come over sometime in the evening, and sleep was completely out of question, your blood was filled with anxious energy, and staying still for too long was making it worse, so you paced around the room, anxiously counting the seconds that passed.
You know deep down your behaviour wasn't common. You've known them for only a month, and only actually been with them for the first two weeks, but their company was soothing to you, and you felt comfortable in their presence. Something you hadn't felt around anyone since your family had been captured all those years ago.
Yyou know it wasn't just their friendly behaviour towards you. Or the way they helped you straight away, despite you being a wild wolf at the time. There was something else with them, something in the air, that you could distinctly smell coming from them, but you had no idea what it was. Every person had a distinctive way they smelled, but them? It was not just calming, but sweet, it oddly smelled like home, like you had somewhere to belong once again.
You craved that smell, and the feeling of their arms around you once again. so when you heard the quinjet approaching the compound into the helipad you all but ripped your room door off its hinges and ran to the roof, the sun was breaking on the horizon, giving the entire scenery and orangy pink glow.
You saw the quintet's walkway lower and saw them slowly walk down, they looked battered, and had visible cuts across their tactical suits, but none of that mattered once you leaped on the air and trowed yourself on Steve, the one closest to you, and hugged him like your life depended on it. Because at that moment it did, your lungs were burning from the lack of oxygen from running all the way here, and when you were able to take a deep breath in you could finally sense it again. That lovely smell coming of him while his arms squeezed you tighter to his warm body.
"Well hello to you too, little wolf." Steve whispers to you.
Bucky got closer to the two of you, and despite not hugging you outright, you could feel his right hand seeking yours, intertwining his fingers to yours and squeezing softly, once you looked in his direction the way he looked made you gasp and let go of Steve. You could see a large gash on his cheek and a busted lip, so you reached out to him so you could cup your hand on his scruffy jaw.
"What happened?"
"The other guy got it worse." Its his only response. You don't like that answer, but you don't push him more.
You look behind them, inside the quinjet, hoping to see your family, but there are only two agents coming out of it, the rest of the empty space taunting you.
You can feel him tugging on your hand, pulling you inside the building, Steve close behind.
"How did it go?" You ask, already knowing the answer to that. They were the only ones returning, so your family was most likely dead by now, after all these years.
"I'm sorry, little wolf, the hydra base we raided had no hostages in it. But we recovered some intel that might be able to tell us where they might have been held. The information has already been given to shield and they are already looking into it for us. Sorry we don't have any good news."
"It's ok. At least you tried to look for them. It's more than I could have ever asked of you, and you guys got hurt in the process." Bucky squeezes your fingers for a few seconds at the concerned tone in your voice, and you calm down. They are super-soldiers, like Tony keeps remind you. They'll be fine.
"You look tired." Steve comments.
"I've been up all night waiting for you. I couldn't sleep"
"Where are you staying?" Bucky asks once you get to the ground floor of the building.
"Tony gave me one of the far end rooms, so I could have easier access to the woods. Why?"
"I wanted to… Well, we wanted to ask if you would like to stay with us tonight?" Steve starts to stay.
"But only if you're comfortable with it. With us" Bucky finishes.
You give him a soft smile and nod. You've been silently dreading having to separate from them once you reached your room. So them asking if you wanted to spend the day with them helped your nerves and stress to fade away instantly.
Once you reach your room and they throw their duffle bags into a corner Bucky seeks you out immediately, cuddling up to your side while his hand rakes trough your hair.
"I missed you." He whispers.
"I missed you too. Both of you" you turn slightly to Steve so he could also hear it.
" We'll go wash up and get out of these blood-stained clothes. Go get comfortable."
While they both go into the bathroom to take a shower you go into the drawers and get out more comfortable clothes to sleep in, choosing a loose t-shirt and some shorts, since their body heat will keep you warm all night. Or day, in this case.
Bucky gets out first, damp hair dripping onto the clean white t-shirt he had on, the cut on his cheek is also cleaned and had two butterfly bandages on it, closing the gash to allow it to heal faster.
You both wordlessly get into bed his warm chest against your back while he breathed you in.
"I've been scared for the both of you these past days. No one would tell me anything. Not even if you were still alive. I've been feeling useless."
"We're here now. And we aren't leaving any time soon baby girl. And you don't need to feel useless."
"But I have been of no help and…"
"You helped more than you know. I don't think I've ever slept as good as I have on that week we first meet. Trust me, you have nothing to feel useless about."
His soft whispered promises and the beating of his steady heart were enough to lull you to sleep right away, getting your body closer to his to seek out his warmth.
When Steve gets out of the bathroom a few minutes later, toweling off his hair and now clean-shaven face, he smiles at the sight of the two of you sleeping already.
It amazes him how comfortable Bucky was around you in such a short time. But he was grateful his partner was feeling good enough to be comfortable around someone they've only known for such a short time. But despite only knowing you for a month, this weeks without you were harsh on the two men, that had gotten used to having you around all the time, and craved your company even more so after being apart from you.
You were becoming a significant part of their life, and Steve was a bit afraid of what that might actually entail. He puts the towel on the small chair in the corner and slides into bed, snuggling closer to the two of you sleeping. He falls asleep faster than he did the past week, now being able to be close to the two most important people in his life and being relieved they were both well.

Vision’s Powers
Finally here we are guys! I really hope you enjoy.
Length: 3,512 words; ~12 minute reading time
Tumblr media
It had been a long and difficult day training with a few of your fellow colleagues at Stark tower. The tank top that you had on had a brim of sweat around the collar and fell loosely past your hips. Your shorts fell mid-thigh, clinging to your waist with a tight elastic stretch and, not unlike your shirt, fell quite loose. It was getting closer to nighttime, but you, Natasha, Steve, and Bucky decided to stay and chat in the training room.
Harsh rays of sunset fell into the room and blinded you slightly, so you faced away from the window, bouncing on the balls of your feet. Bucky and Steve were caught in some lengthy conversation and you were able to pick up words here and there but not enough to understand what they said. Maybe had Natasha not been nit-picking your attacks and defenses, you would have been more interested in what they had to say. The punching bag in front of you dangled on a bulky and squeaky chain, the repeated motion of the Stark logo swinging back and forth just egged you on.
Natasha put her hands on her hips, a stern expression playing at her face. “Feet more apart,” she scrutinized. You did as you were told and shifted your feet apart further. It made your calves burn but you held it together and looked up at her for confirmation. She nodded and watched your movements with a critical, yet compassionate eye. She and you had been training for most of the day but taking breaks in between when needed. She was a tough teacher; she and you both knew that. However, that did not make training any less enjoyable. There were certain moments where she would tease you on how your punches fell or you would make comments on how teachers are supposed to teach. Each one would break the “training-tension” and give you two a moment of peace before going right back to work. It was necessary.
“Let her relax Nat,” Bucky cawed from across the room. “Tony and Vision should be done soon.”
Tony and Vision had been working for the past few hours on demonstrating and taking note of each one of Vision’s aspects. Even with their (rather large) lab directly across the hall from the training room, neither of them stepped in to greet them in the day. The only one who saw them before disappearing into the lab was Natasha, who had let the guys and you know when you first walked into the training room. Natasha did not seem concerned, so it did not concern you.
Nat scoffed and picked up your water bottle, handing it to you with a smirk on her face. Facing you, she briefly made eye contact with you before rolling her eyes and calling over her shoulder “She’s the one who asked for this, Barnes.”
Bucky grimaced but chuckled. “Why on Earth would you do that to yourself, kid?”
You smiled, appreciating the empathy. “I needed to train. I felt out of practice,” you said, walking to go grab your bag from the benches on the left side of the room. The red walls were a contrast from the white boxing arena that Steve and Bucky sat against. You walked over to the arena and sat on the padded ground a few feet in front of the boys, Natasha coming to sit next to you. “Plus, she could have been a lot tougher,” you continued. “We’ve been going at a good pace, I think.”
“I guess I’ll just have to go harder on you next time,” Natasha responded with a smirk and playfully bumped into you.
Steve chuckled and gestured to the door with a nod, “Why don’t we all go get something to eat? I don’t think Vison and Tony will be done anytime soon.”
The group nodded around at each other and you placed your hand below you to push yourself up off the ground. Your arm was sore from the long day of work, so you were rather excited to get back to your room, take a shower, and finally decompress. With a ‘hup’, you pushed off and walked over to the benches to gather your things. However, before you were able to reach your hoodie, the door to the training room opened and you instinctually looked over. Vision’s face peaked into the room with a curious look, his eye searching around the room,  and finally locked on you. He made eye contact with you and quickly glanced away to face Natasha. Everyone stopped and watched Vision as he pushed open the door and walked inside.
“Hello everyone,” Vision greeted slightly quiet. “I was wondering if I could borrow Ms. (Y/L/N) for something.” Vision’s gaze shifted to you with a polite expression.
“Oh great, am I going to be a guinea pig?” You chuckled and threw your hoodie into your bag. To be fair, you weren’t nervous. Tony had done other experiments with you in the past and they all simply involved weapon production. You were typically his assistant when he would need someone else to try thing for Peter’s upgraded gear. You swung your bag over your shoulder and looked around the room. “I’ll catch you guys another time, thanks for the invite Steve.”
Steve smiled and nodded at you and Natasha told you to be up early tomorrow for more training. With a smile, Vision led you out of the room and into the hall. “So what exactly is it you guys are doing?” You asked.
“Energy influxes on human skin,” he said walking next to you.
You stopped dead in your tracks, your sneaker squeak echoing in the hall. A feeling of dread set in your stomach. “Vision, no, no, no, no, I don’t-”
Vision put his hand on the small of your back and your wrist as you babbled on, leading you down the hall. “Don’t worry, it’s painless,” He interrupted. “Unfortunately, we needed someone besides Tony.”
“How come?”
“Actually,” Vision said. “Now that you mention it, I’m not quite sure why. We were experimenting with my powers on his own skin to see if they created any sort of reaction. He initially pulled away but told me he didn’t feel anything.”
You scoffed, “That doesn’t really make me feel better.”
Vision smiled at you. “No, I can understand why. I don’t believe it to be painful.”
You nodded and grabbed the handle to the door of Tony’s lab. Tony’s lab was a bit of a mess, with paper scattered across a large glass desk with massive computers that looked too difficult to figure out how to use. In front of Tony’s desk, Tony sat on a high metal stool with a clipboard, and a pen between his lips. There were various machines around his office to, from what you assumed, assist Tony with various tasks that came with him.
Tony glanced up at you and smirked. “Ah!” He exclaimed. “(Y/N), so glad you could make it. Take a seat.” Tony hopped off the stool and motioned to it.
Vision wasn’t too far behind you. He looked at Tony with furrowed brows, but you ignored your gut and tossed your things on the ground, kicking it away from the stool so no one would trip over it. You hopped onto it, despite your muscles aching. Once you had yourself comfortably seated on the chair, Tony sprung up.
“So, the point of this experiment is to see if Vision’s energy produced from his power has any effect on human skin,” Tony said quickly. “Before you ask, no it’s not cancerous. No, it’s not painful. I didn’t have any rashes, itching, or allergic reactions, so if I was fine, you should be fine.”
Vision spoke, “Mr. Stark, I don’t believe that’s how allergic reactions work-”
“Sure it is,” Tony interrupted. “Alright, Robocop, hop to it.”
With a sigh, Vision took your hand in his palm gently and turned the top of your hand towards the ceiling. You watched his delicate movements, him occasionally stealing glances at your face. “Please,” he said. “Let me know if anything hurts.” He put his other hand over the top of yours, slightly hovering above it. The underside of his hand emitted a small, purplish glow as the energy touched your skin. It felt warm, like there was static floating across your hand. To be honest, you kind of expected more but knew that Vision was being gentle on purpose. He had powers capable of things you hadn’t ever seen, and you didn’t want to find out. You smiled at the feeling of his power traveling across the top of your hand. If anything, it kind of tickled. You smiled.
“You seem to be rather enjoying this,” Vision said as he looked up from your hand.
You chuckled. “It just feels weird.”
“Weird?” Tony asked, strolling over to the other side of his desk. He flipped his pen in between his finger. It was faint, but you could tell that there was a small smile playing at his lips. It made you curious, but you decided not to ask.
“Yeah,” you responded. “I don’t know. It feels sort of itchy? Not like…a bad itchy, though.”
Vision, after giving you a glance up from focusing on his powers, and then returned his gaze to his and your hands. “Shall I continue, Mr. Stark?” Vision asked without ever looking up. Tony didn’t need to answer Vision for Vision to already have the answer.
He began slowly inching his hands up the outside of your arm. However, the further he went up, the more intense the feeling became. Occasionally, you would twitch or jerk your head away slightly from the feeling. It was definitely becoming more of a solid tickle now instead of the itchy sort of tickle that it was before. It wasn’t terribly unpleasant, but it did sort of surprise you. The more you attempted to hold back the giggles that began broiling in your chest, the more difficult it became. You thought from the outside, you seemed to be holding yourself together; Vision’s eyes slowly followed his hands up and down your arm, the purple hue tingling across your skin. It had gotten bad enough to the point where you needed to close your eyes and take deep breaths. You felt Vision halt, the tickly feeling lingering on the top of your forearm.
“Ms. (Y/N), are you alright?”
You sighed and smiled at Vision. “Yeah, I’m good.”
Vision had a concerned look on his face. Perhaps he was worried about your reaction, or maybe something else. His brow was furrowed and his eyes bounced between you and Tony. “Mr. Stark,” He said and stood up from his hunched over position. “Perhaps it would be best if we continued tomorrow. Or even found another subject. This seems to be causing discomfort.”
A feeling of guilt set in your stomach. You reached out to Vision and grabbed his arm. You didn’t want to be the person who interrupted an important project. God knowing Tony, he was probably working on something terribly important. “Wait,” you said. “I’m completely fine to continue.”
Vision turned back around to face you. He let out a large sigh and wiped his hands with relatively small  cream-colored towel. Perhaps this was more of a difficult task for Vision than you had previously assumed. “Are you sure you’re alright? You seemed to be uncomfortable.” Vision said.
You nodded and felt your face heat up. Obviously, you wouldn’t want to admit to your colleagues that you were ticklish. How embarrassing! Someone as strong as yourself, being amongst literal Gods, a couple of super soldiers and a bunch of other extremely talented and smart individuals? You felt like it made you look weak. Thinking about it further, if you found out the same fact about one of the other Avengers, you wouldn’t view them as weak, so why blame yourself? Additionally, if you didn’t tell them, you knew that Vision wouldn’t have the moral capacity to let himself continue. If this was an important enough project, it would need to get done regardless of something as childish as you being ticklish. Ultimately, there would be no point in keeping it a secret.
“It just…” you began, trailing off. Your eyes bounced back and forth between Tony and Vision. Tony had a small smirk still on his lips but he kept gesturing for you to continue. “It just kind of tickles.”
Vision tilted his head and immediately smiled. You prayed that your face didn’t look as red as it felt. Vision chuckled and placed his towel down on a rollable science table. “Oh dear, I thought perhaps I was hurting you,” Vision said, obviously relieved.
You immediately raised your hands in defense. “No, no, not at all!” You spoke. “I just didn’t want to say anything. Whatever you’re doing looks important, so I thought it was best to let you focus.”
Vision smiled and looked over his shoulder to Tony. “Mr. Stark,” he said. “I think we’re good to continue, if (Y/N)’s still well enough.”
You nodded and gave Vision your arm once again. However, just before Vision’s fingers touched your arm again, Tony called out and started you both.
“Vis,” said Tony. He spun his pointer finger in a circle. “Pepper and I were supposed to have dinner tonight. Get a move on.”
Vision smirked a bit. You watched him as he walked over to the opposite side of the stool. Your instinct was to turn around to face him but he quickly placed a hand on your shoulder and let you know to stay where you were. It was a bit uncomfortable, looking forward while Vision fumbled with a box of gloves behind your back. You could hear everything but, fighting your instincts, you continued to look forward.
“I’m going to begin again,” Vision said. “…and it anything hurts-”
“Let you know,” You interrupted with a smile on your face. Vision was close enough to your that you could hear the power in his hands light up again. Normally, you would have been uncomfortable, but you trusted Vision. He hadn’t given you any reason to distrust him and Tony’s work. “Of course.”
Vision began hovering his hands over your shoulders, the feeling immediately sparking to life with barely a warning. It made you shift, but you kept your lips pursed tightly together. The feeling on your shoulders wasn’t terrible, but it was quickly becoming more intense than you’d like to admit. Vision began moving once again. The itchy tingly feeling creeped its way towards your neck and finally, you shrugged your shoulders up and let out a stream of giggles. Vision, to your dismay, kept his hands at your neck, following your movements as you leaned forward to try to avoid the feeling.
“Vision! Plehehease I need a sehehecohond!” You giggled out, your hands reaching up to grab his wrists. He didn’t stop.
“I’m quite sorry, Ms. (Y/N), but we are on a schedule.” Vision said, playfulness gracing his voice. “Surely you can handle a bit of tickling, can’t you?”
Before you had time to protest, Visions hands leapt down from your neck and gripped your sides. You let out a startled yelp and immediately burst into a new set of high pitched laughter. You could feel that Visions hands weren’t even moving but feeling his hands on your sides was enough to make you lose your composure.
In a completely involuntary reaction, you leaned backwards into his touch and felt your back collide with his chest. However, only your brain could process that moment which might have been uncomfortable, if your body wasn’t too busy reacting to Visions hands now skittering around your sides. He still held you close to him, and pinched the area directly under your ribs. Your elbows flew back and attempted to guard your sides but Vision simply kept his hands there. You were too weak against him, especially considering that most of your strength was being consumed by your uncontrollable laughing, but your arms did little to nothing against his tickling. Instead, you bucked your hips and managed to get yourself off of the chair. Your giggles didn’t seem to want to stop at this point, so with a smile and a defensive hand in front of you, you turned around to face your attacker.
Vision’s eyes were wide and his brows were high, but he had a rather large smile. He let out a laugh and crossed his arms. “I suppose that answers that question, Mr. Stark.”
Tony let out a nasally, almost teasing laugh and walked over to you. You straightened your back as Tony patted your shoulder. “Sure does,” He said to Vision. Tony turned to you. “Thank you for being a wonderful test subject today, (Y/N). We got some great info.”
“Wait, how did you guys get good info?” You asked. “Vision used his fingers for the last bit of it! That’s not fair!” You smiled but gesturing to Visions hands, you noticed that Vision had a confused, but amused expression.
“I suppose it would make sense for the victim to feel phantom fingers,” said Vision, flexing his fist.
“Alright, great, mark that down as one of the symptoms. We’ll call it phantom fingers. Good name.” Tony said, quickly walking away from you and heading to his desk. With a pen in his mouth, he rapidly typed something into the computer.
You were more than confused to say the least. When Vision was tickling you, he was tickling you. You could physically feel his fingers on your body. “Wait, what do you mean? You were touching me! Like, not with your powers, with your fingers!”
Vision chuckled. “I assure you, we never strayed from the rules of the experiment.” Vision winked, which just confused you more.
You crossed your arms and looked at Tony, whose smile had returned to his lips once again. “What exactly are we doing here?”
Tony tilted his head and took the pen from his mouth. Without looking at you, he pointed the pen in your directly and gave a knowing smirk. “An experiment.”
You rolled your eyes. “Yeah, I kind of got that but what kind of experiment?”
At this point, Vision uncrossed his arms and took a step around the table to gather some papers from the side of Tony’s desk. He had a little smile on his face as well. He looked to Tony, but Tony was too absorbed in whatever he was doing on his computer. “If I may,” Vision spoke. “The original intent of the experiment was to see if my powers reacted in any way with human skin. Originally.”
“Originally,” You repeated.
Vision nodded and chuckled. “From there, we discovered that if I put a certain amount of effort into my powers, they begin to cause pain. Enough of it could possibly injure someone and do permanent damage.”
You shook your head. “So, you experimented on me? Knowing that it could hurt me?”
“No,” Vision said matter-of-factly, “Actually, we discovered that the lighter I go, the more it actually begins to tickle the skin.”
“Okay,” You said. You could feel your face heating up. “Why didn’t you tell me that in the first place?”
“Rules of science,” Tony chimed in. “In all well-conducted experiments, you never let your subject know what the test is. We needed to see if it applied to everyone, and I thought you were the most well-apt guinea pig.”
“That’s terrifying, Tony,” you said.
Tony smirked and nodded. Vision walked over to where you stood and handed you a bottle of water. You appreciated the gesture but waved it off and picked up your metal water bottle that you had in your bag. Taking a swig of it, you chuckled and shook your head, thinking about the ridiculousness of it all. As long as it was just Tony and Vision who knew about this little “weakness” of yours, it wouldn’t be that big of a deal. Right…? Well, maybe not. A feeling of dread set place in your stomach.
“You…aren’t going to tell anyone, are you?” You asked, side-eyeing Tony.
Vision hummed and smiled. “No, (Y/N). Why would we tell?”
“Speak for yourself, cyborg,” Tony interrupted. “This is useful information.”
“Tony…” you threatened.
“(Y/N)…” he teased.
“I’m serious.”
“You’re no fun,” Tony said, deadpan. “I can’t make any promises.”
You sighed and picked up your bag. The last thing you needed was the Avengers teasing you over something like this. However, with a (relatively fake) air of confidence, you said your goodbyes and left the lab and stepped out into the hall. Your water bottle seemed to be the only comfort to you right now. Before you could reach the door of the gym, Natasha stepped out and gave you a wide smile.
“Sounded like you guys were having a ball in there,” She said. “Heard you laughing pretty loudly.”
“Ha…it’s nothing,” You responded and shrugged.
Like you said, the last thing you needed.
