When I started out weight lifting 47 years ago ! Wednesday and Saturday were always leg days and they always began with very heavy Squats! A partner was always used for spotting and when going super heavy there were two additional people needed for each side of the bar incase you got stuck! Power racks and cages that you use today hadn’t been invented! Tom Platz was the man for Quads ! This device and the Crippler is taking it too another level ! It’s only negative is people say it too hard ! What would Tom Platz say! He would say why wasn’t this invented then ! He would have been even greater! Tom Platz was a beast back in the day, pulling off feats suchs as taking 315 and squatting it 50 times. His quads were the thing of legend. I just saw a newly published video of him training legs with Sergio Oliva Jr and he KILLED him.
