Han river battle
I just caught up with the entire Han river fight chapters and the last fight was so good! Like, yes keep all those twists and tactics coming in!! Damn enjoyed it so much 🔥
Tumblr media
This also gets me excited and runs my brain on if and how they plan to execute this segment of the story in the Weak hero live action, in season 2 maybe? (All hopes in!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
BTW the webtoon's title 'WEAK HERO' lives up to its name. There are so many strong characters here! Hence every time I forget, I'm reminded that our MC is Gray, that's not really strong (physically) but knows how to fill that hole with his mind games!

INTERVIEW 027. THERAPIST! CHARLIE MAYHEW murdrtober oct 24th.
Tumblr media
Your therapist gives you advice. What better way to exercise said advice than with the person that it came from? 1.1k+ words MDNI 18+
After the weekend you had, you were truly considering skipping this session. But after waking up far too late to cancel without there being some sort of financial consequence, you put on your big girl pants and made your way down to Dr. Mayhew’s office, convincing yourself that professionalism would outweigh whatever awkwardness could possibly exist between you both.
From his end, maybe there isn’t any awkwardness, but from your end the discomfort is as obvious as the hickey sitting on the side of your neck.
You try to cover it with the hood of your sweatshirt, ignoring the dampness of the fabric as you clear your throat and shift the way you’re sitting.
“So I thought today we could talk about your ex.”
As if you needed any further confirmation that Dr. Mayhew saw you out this weekend.
It was a fleeting look, and the two of you were on opposite sides of the bar, but you definitely saw your therapist outside of the office holding a beer, and he definitely saw you outside of the office holding your exes hand. The same guy you’ve cried and whined and got existential over in many of your sessions.
You don’t say anything to Dr. Mayhew. You simply sit still, knowing that there will be a question accompanied by his introduction soon after. His gaze is piercing and unwavering, so you take a second to glance at the window, watching the rain fall down the glass.
“Are you still attached to him?”
There seems to be a right or wrong answer to this question. Even though Dr. Mayhew is giving you that look, the one that’s supposed to be passive and indifferent, you can tell he has already made his own conclusions and he’s simply waiting for you to arrive at them, too. It’s obvious how he feels, from the way he sits, to the tone of his voice.
He could pretend all he wanted, but you’ve been his client for long enough to know his tells. The same way he knows yours.
“What do you mean by attached?”
He knows you’re deflecting, trying to find time to come up with yet another lie.
“I mean, are you still seeing him? In contact with him via text? Email, even.”  Dr. Mayhew crosses one leg over the other and interlaces his fingers over his kneecap, drawing your attention to the difference between the outfit you see him in now and the one you saw him in over the weekend.
You don’t know which one you prefer, the relaxed jeans and well-fitting tee shirt he wore this weekend, or the clean-cut white button down and navy slacks that he wears now.
You lift your eyes to look at Dr. Mayhew and he holds your gaze, dark eyes fixed on you as he sits patiently and waits for whatever your answer will be.
You could lie to your therapist once more, wasting the immense amount of money you spend on bettering your mental health. Or, you could just tell the truth, since he already knows it.
“I’m not attached to him, but we are still in contact, yes.”
Dr. Mayhew doesn’t look disappointed, but he doesn’t look proud either. He adjusts the way he’s sitting once more, now leaning back in his seat with his legs spread just enough to gather your attention.
“Have you made any efforts to completely sever contact with him?”
You sigh, crossing your arms and leaning back in the seat. You know Dr. Charlie is noticing your body language, likely mentally cataloging it to describe you as ‘Guarded’ when he’s writing his notes after this session.
“How do you think I should do that?”
“Well I think you should get your mind off of him, for starters. Maybe try picking up a new hobby, getting out of the house without feeding into night life since that’s what the two of you would do often. Maybe even try seeing someone new, anything that will remind you that there is a life outside of the one you had with him.”
It’s a subtle suggestion thrown in there, and maybe he doesn’t mean what you think he means, but the corner of your lips quirk up as you watch Dr. Mayhew across from you. He seems nonchalant, like he hadn’t just told you that the best way to get over someone was to get under someone else. But if it’s the doctor's orders, how could you not take his advice?
You think you and Dr. Mayhew both end up getting what you want in the end. You take his advice, at least as best as you could. When your friends invite you out on Friday, you politely decline and instead spend your time at home working through a film franchise. But on Saturday when they ask you to come out again, you couldn’t say no without being a bad friend, so there you are on a Saturday night, dolled up with your friends at your sides, reinforcing that if your ex happens to be here, all of you will leave and go somewhere else. But if there’s someone hot, a potential prospect to get your mind off of your ex like your therapist advised, then by all means.
It’s weird how everything falls into place. You and Dr. Mayhew are in the same place at the same time yet again, the two of you found each other on a night where you were determined to completely get your ex out of your mind, and welcome someone else—anyone else—into the otherwise empty roster.
It’s not like you attach yourself to the first person you see, if that were the case you would’ve been with the blue collar worker who offered to buy you a drink at the bar, and not at the back of the building with the guy you pay a solid amount to listen to your problems every other week.
But there is something about Dr. Mayhew that makes him the one. He knows what you are doing, there is a silent agreement for there to be no strings attached as he takes you to his car. He just wants to help you out in any way possible, really. He tells you so as he unzips your dress and let it fall to the floor of his bedroom. He will do anything to help his clients, especially ones that he sees himself in.
“Gonna get your mind off of him, alright?” He tells you as he drops to his knees, his fingertips digging under the elastic of your lacy panties. You came prepared, dressed for the inevitable moment where you would sleep with someone new for the first time in a while.
You nod. “Yeah,” you agree, threading your fingers in Charlie’s short hair as he brought his mouth closer to your cunt.
And Dr. Mayhew does get your mind off of him.
He’s so good to you, so attentive to exactly what you need. It’s no wonder he went into medicine, his bedside manner is fucking incredible.

You were stuck staring at your ceiling, mind blank and body restless.
You felt like you were lagging behind at this point. Chan had reassured you that there was nothing wrong and you were doing as well as everyone around you, if not better. But you felt otherwise. A lot of anti's had been posting tweets, posts, videos, all about how you were meaningless to the group, except for the fact that you were the only girl and therefore gave the group a bit of pizzazz.
You wanted to prove yourself.
You wanted to prove that yes, you were a good rapper. You were a good singer. You were a great dancer. But they always compared you to your members.
“She can't rap like Changbin, Jisung or Felix.”
“She can't sing like Seungmin, Jeongin or Chan.”
“She can't dance like Minho or Hyunjin.”
“She can't write or compose like Jisung and the other 3RACHA members.”
“She's useless to the group, except for publicity.”
You pulled off the covers and walked to your bathroom, putting on some light make-up and brushing your teeth and hair before heading over to your closet to get into some decent clothes for practice. You pulled out your phone and checked the time:
03:45 a.m.
It's fine. More than enough time to practice. You shook your head, managing to sneak out of the dorm and head around to the practice room. When you got there you immediately connected your phone to the speakers and started practicing to songs with which you wanted to improve rapping. That you did for two hours until 5:45 am. Then you did vocal practices and warm-ups until 6:45. Then for the last few hours until the other members would show up, you practiced your choreography and dance in general. You had muted your phone and couldn't hear any message notifications, hence why you couldn't hear your members blowing up your phone.
•••
"Where is she? She's not anywhere in the dorm—"
"She's not picking up her phone, either..." Jeongin added anxiously, looking between his hyungs.
Chan, though worried, tried to keep cool to make sure chaos was kept to a minimum. "Don't worry, guys. I'm sure we'll find her somewhere in the building. She probably went to practice a bit earlier today."
"You think so? She usually never wakes up early." Changbin said, biting his inner cheek as he tapped his phone case worriedly.
"That's true. We always have to wake her up." Minho added, folding his arms as he finished fixing his hair.
"I'm sure she's fine." Felix said hopefully, smiling in a calming manner before heading out to the practice room with the others.
•••
You stopped for the third time in the last 2 minutes. Your whole body was aching and your head hurt. You took a sip of water and a quick 30 second breather before restarting the song. It was midway through the Side Effects choreo that the members stumbled into the room, frantically looking around before visibly relaxing at the sight of you. You tried to put on a bright smile, turning around to look at them fully. “Who's late, now?" You stuck your tongue out half-heartedly, laughing airly as you went to unplug your phone, flinching at the large amounts of texts and missed calls.
"Where've you been?" Jisung asked as he walked over for a hug, his blue hair illuminated in the light. You shrugged, opening your arms to hug him. Once you leaned into him you went limp in his arms, your eyes closing blissfully and body appreciating the break. Jisung cocked a brow as you pulled away almost forcefully, but decided to keep quiet, staring blankly after you since you refused to tell him what was up.
•••
"Okay! Five, six—five, six, seven, eight!" Minho counted you all in and you missed the beat, stumbling forward and bumping into Seungmin.
"Sorry, Minnie. You okay?"
"I think I should be the one asking that question, noona… You look pale."
"No, I'm goo—woah.” The floor danced beneath your feet as a sudden wave of dizziness overcame your senses, Changbin catching you as you fell back.
"Y/N, you don't look good." Changbin said worriedly, keeping his hands close to you even after you had shoved them away.
"I'm fine, don't worry."
"Y/N—"
"I said I'm fine!" You snapped at Chan, your shoulders tense. Everyone looked at you nervously. You were known for your patience and almost never got angry, though when you did it never ended well. Sniffling, you swore under your breath, storming out and into the bathroom.
With a collective sigh, Hyunjin stopped the music, watching as Minho ran a hand through his hair while others paced nervously, Jeongin fiddling uncomfortably with his fingers.
“Jisung?"
The blue haired boy turned to look at his leader attentively, his bottom lip captured between his teeth.
"Would you mind trying to talk to her?"
Nodding, Jisung walked over to the door and gently wrapped his knuckles against it.
"Come in..." You said hoarsly, sounding like you had been crying. It was pretty obvious that you had a soft spot for Jisung, hence why Chan thought you'd talk to him.
"Noona..." Jisung said quietly, walking over to your hunched form at the end of the bathroom: leaning against the wall and crying into your knees. He wrapped his arms around you and you cried further into his shoulder, trying hard not to be too loud. Jisung was on the verge of tears himself, rubbing circles into your back in hopes of comforting you. When you calmed down, you explained to him that you had been practicing for at least seven hours and after he did the math he looked at you seriously.
"You've been here since three a.m?" You nodded, leaning forward and resting your head against his shoulder, eyes closing. "Noona, that's dangerously long!"
"I know, Sung-ah... It's just that... I wanna do a good job, you know? It's like everyone's miles ahead of me, just out of reach, and I'm the only one at the bottom of the pile, waiting to be forgotten…” You were crying again, and Jisung felt his heart ache as he hugged you closer.
“I just want them to root for me, too. I wanna show them all of me because they're all watching but I don't know what they want."
Jisung gently leaned back and took your face in his hands. “Whoever 'they' are, they don’t matter. You're giving us everything you've got and it's more than enough. You don't have anything to prove, noona. You're doing fine just as you are and doing this to yourself is far from what we want from you."
You nodded, leaning into his touch and slumping down slightly. Jisung nodded and brought you closer, eventually noticing that you had passed out, most likely from exhaustion.
"What happened?" Hyunjin asked questioningly when Jisung came out carrying you. He shook his head, looking from you to his members.
"She passed out. She's been practicing since three this morning. I'm taking her back to the dorm to sleep it off. We'll be able to check up on her later. She should be awake by the time we finish up here."
Chan nodded and told Jisung to head on up to the dorms as practice continued.
•••
When you woke up, you smelled pizza. Rubbing your eyes tiredly you walked into the living room where Jeongin attacked you with hugs.
"You feeling better yet, noona?"
"Innie~ that's a bit tight, love.”
"Ah, sorry—" Jeongin pulled away with a hint of pink on his face because of your pet name.
You ruffled his hair and nodded. “I'm feeling much better, maknae-ya."
"That's great! We left you your food in the kitchen and there's a buddy coke for you in the fridge." Jeongin smiled happily as he joined his hyungs by the TV where you guys were they were watching fail army.
"You better not do that again, okay?" Jisung said seriously as he walked up to you, leaning against the counter while watching you get your food and drink.
"I won't, Sung. Thanks for helping me today..."
Jisung smiled as he side hugged you quietly. “Always."

Today, on August 24th, 1975 – Queen Story!
Queen starts recording ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ at Rockfield studio’s in Galles.
🔸THE DAY QUEEN BEGAN RECORDING THEIR MASTERPIECE, ‘BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY’
- Ultimate Classic Rock, August 24, 2015
by Eduardo Rivadavia
If you were to write a history of the recording studio and, specifically, its usefulness as a laboratory for musicians' most ambitious creations, then an entire chapter might well be devoted to "Bohemian Rhapsody." The members of Queen began recording the song on Aug. 24, 1975, redefining the known limits of popular music in the process.
Suffice to say that, whatever Chuck Berry had in mind when he asked Beethoven to roll over, "Bohemian Rhapsody"'s jaw-dropping pastiche of rock and opera sure wasn't it. But then, Queen's flamboyant and unpredictable brand of art rock had been simultaneously stumping and amazing all those who'd heard it well before "Bohemian Rhapsody" came along. It continually morphed over the first three albums of the group's career, until 1974's Sheer Heart Attack started connecting all the dots.
During the first months of 1975, Queen toured the U.S. as headliners for the first time (alternately supported by Styx and Kansas), making their first trip to Japan (where they received a Beatlemania-type reception), and, in singer Freddie Mercury's case, receiving the prestigious Ivor Novello Award for his work on "Killer Queen."
All of these accomplishments no doubt boosted the band's confidence (and courage) as they started working on new material, both in unison and individually, for the album they would soon name A Night at the Opera. This was to be produced by their engineer Roy Thomas Baker, and it's safe to say neither band nor producer could have guessed what Mercury had up his sleeve as he started cobbling together both new ideas and spare song parts he'd been lugging around for years in the privacy of his Kensington apartment.
According to Baker, in an interview with Sound on Sound, his first inkling of what was in store only came when he visited Queen's singer at his home, and Mercury first played him "Bohemian Rhapsody"'s initial ballad section, concluding it by casually quipping, "And this is where the opera section comes in!" Mercury, Taylor and the other members of Queen -- guitarist Brian May, bassist John Deacon and drummer Roger Taylor -- then entered the studio following three weeks of rehearsal to help bring Freddie's madcap magnum opus to life.
Together, the foursome and their studio hands spent as much time arranging, re-arranging, adding, subtracting, and adding some more to "Bohemian Rhapsody"'s bulk as most bands of the time spent on entire albums. In the end, Mercury's central ballad wound up preceded by one of Queen's patented, multi-tracked a capella choirs and was followed by a tasteful solo from May, a minute-long opera section, then a heavy metal instrumental passage and finally a reprise of the core melody, fading gently back into wherever it came from.
All these years later, it's the song's operatic climax that remains its most stunning, almost superhuman, accomplishment, as it required them to clock as 10-to-12 hour days over a three-week period. They reportedly needed nearly 200 vocal overdubs in order to flesh out an entire choir. And then, when they were finally done, their label EMI was, to put it mildly, quite unimpressed.
Although, to be fair, the suits' reasons were typically business-oriented, as "Bohemian Rhapsody's" edged close to the six-minute mark, well beyond the limit favored by commercial radio. Instead, the label suggested they release Deacon's excellent "You're My Best Friend" as first single from A Night at the Opera, but Queen wouldn't hear of it, and it only took a moment for the immediate support of DJs across Britain to prove EMI wrong.
Released in the U.K. on Oct. 31, 1975, "Bohemian Rhapsody" would be No. 1 by Christmas and then hold the spot for nine weeks. Its commercial fortunes were undoubtedly helped by the pioneering music video shot by Queen to stand in for them on Top of the Pops while they were already back on tour by the time they were invited to appear. Meanwhile, their single was also on its way to No. 1 in Canada, New Zealand, the Netherlands and Belgium, earning Top 10 honors in multiple other countries and peaking at No. 9 in America, where it eventually became a million-seller.
"Bohemian Rhapsody" stands as one of the best-selling songs in rock history, prone to repeat visits to global charts anytime it is revived for a movie, commercial or other event, and frankly unique as nothing since has come close to matching its sheer heights of excess, bravura, and, oh yeah, inspiration.

On Good Omens, contentment and happiness
Okay, everybody, please bear with me, this might be long.
This is about something that I've noticed in the past, but that was really painfully obvious following the release/leaks of information around Good Omens season 3 over the last few days.
There seem to be two categories of people. The ones that appreciate what they have and the ones that always demand more. Let's talk about the latter category first:
I am using the word demand here because very often I am more reminded of a toddler throwing a tantrum about not being allowed more candy than a grown person that has any experience about what the world is like. I don't want to over-simplify, but for the sake of brevity, let's call this group "the pessimists".
Let's take a small detour and state the facts (as of Oct 24th):
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Good Omens season 3 had been announced as 6 episodes, roughly 45min each.
(Credible) Sexual assault allegations against Neil Gaiman (NG) -- the head writer and producer -- had been made public.
Good Omens season 3 production had been "paused".
Plenty of rumors about a cancellation, lots of radio silence and finally a few days ago strategic leaks from people actually involved in the production that there might be a chance.
Amazon confirmed (today) that season 3 is going forward, without NG on the production team. The format is now one 90min episode/film/feature.
Now, people's reactions to this reveal have been mixed, very understandable, I also have very mixed feelings about this. So far so normal. From my perspective, the difference (and this is the part that is applicable to life in general, not just Good Omens S3) is which side of the "mixed" feelings wins out.
Reactions I've observed in the "pessimist" group: - Outrage that a company associated with NG is in any way legally involved. - "It is now all ruined". - "One episode can never be enough, we need MORE". - "F*ck this". - "This will be horrible". - "I don't want a film". - People outright demanding to get 6 episodes. - "I am literally crying here, my life sucks so bad".
Now, for contrast and for the sake of clarity, I'll call the other group "optimists": - "omg, I am so glad we will get closure". - "90 minutes is basically 2 full episodes". - "I trust Michael and David to make it work". - "I am so grateful to all the people behind the scenes that fought so hard to make this happen". - "The people working on the production are as dedicated fans as we are, they will make it work". - "Other awesome pieces of media are even less than 90 minutes".
To sum up my reaction to these and quote someone I reblogged earlier today (@paperpoetryandpetrichor), what did you think would happen?!
Feelings of disappointment are 100% to be expected, every fan wants as much high quality content as possible. All feelings are valid, but some are (imo) clearly healthier and more productive than others.
I am also sad that we'll "only" get the equivalent of two episodes instead of six. But you know what would have been way sad-er? Zero episodes. Or if they had kept NG involved (Amazon could have simply tried to ignore all this, as TV producers have in the past). There is an infinite plethora of other outcomes that would have been so much worse.
I for one choose to see the positive sides. We will get closure. NG not on production team. Both Michael and David on board (which, as we've also learned today was not a given, everybody had been released from their contracts!). And speaking of Michael and David, they know how much we all love this show -- and they do as well --, they know how much we love Aziraphale and Crowley. I trust that they will fight tooth and nails to make this the absolute best version it can be.
So yeah, what about the overall lesson I draw from this and from the two groups?
I believe that people who are able to focus their energy on the positive aspects of anything really live much happier lives. The same set of facts spark two totally opposite directions of thoughts. We all start out with "oh. I don't know how I feel about this new piece of information?" but where we go from there is totally up to us. For me, the greatest driver of happiness is contentment. Be happy with what you have. You can always want more, because it is important to have aspirations and goals and places/versions of yourself you want to be. But focussing only on what you do not have will just make you unhappy, on top of the not-having.
Breathe. Most everything has a bright side to it, if you focus on that you'll be way better off. The world is not fair and likely never will be, but letting that stop you from enjoying the things in it that are good and bright and joyful only makes you feel worse. Fight to make the world fairer and a better place for everybody. But stop every now and then to smell a flower (or re-watch your favourite series) on the way to remind yourself what you are fighting so hard for.
Tumblr media
"To the world."
I want to round this out with a quote from the Good Omens novel:
Because, underneath it all, Crowley was an optimist.
Tumblr media
If you want your life to be a South Downs cottage, be like Crowley.

Struck By Love - Oct 24th Post 3
Cut for potential spoilers, chronological order reading recommended
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Johnny: I’m not saying he doesn’t love you in his way. But Layla you deserve so much better. You deserve someone who will move mountains for you and that’s not my brother. I just needed to tell you before you choose to say I do. This isn't about me being in love with you. You can't stay with him
I may have missed the tears I shed earlier but there was no hiding the ones running down my face now. All my doubts were bubbling back. But Mal had proposed to me, he had to love me.
Layla: *shakily* You’ve delivered your message, please leave. Today is about Byron, one of the best things in my life. I will not have him come home to a mum who is running away. You can come to the party, he loves you, but please leave me alone until then
I’d had it. I ran into my bedroom and slammed the door behind me as the tears continued to fall. I heard the sound of the front door as Johnny left. I sunk to the ground and was unable to stop myself sobbing, the argument overwhelming me.

DOZENS KILLED BY ISRAELI BOMBING AS THE ZIONIST ARMY CONTINUES ITS WAR OF EXTERMINATION
The Israeli occupation army continued its war of extermination today as its forces continued bombing the residential neighborhoods of the Gaza Strip.
In the latest crimes of the Zionist entity, the occupation army bombarded the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood, west of the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, resulting in the death of a young man and wounding several others.
Similarly, Israeli drones dropped incendiary bombs on Abu Arif Street in the city of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.
Additionally, in further war crimes, 5 Palestinian civilians were killed, including three children, while many others were wounded, after occupation warplanes bombed a house in the Al-Maghazi Camp, in the central Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, the number of Palestinians who were killed in a bombing of a gathering of civilians in the vicinity of the Bani Suhaila roundabout rose to 10 as a result of their wounds.
According to reports earlier in the day, the occupation army bombed a group of Palestinians near the Bani Suhaila roundabout, east of the city of Khan Yunis, killing 7 and wounding several others who were taken to Nasser Hospital in the city.
Since then, three more of the wounded died as a result of wounds sustained in the bombing.
The Israeli occupation forces have since launched several raids targeting the city of Beit Lahiya, in the northern Gaza Strip, as well as on the Sheikh Ajlin neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, in conjunction with artillery shelling of the town of Beit Hanoun, also north of Gaza.
Another bombing targeted a gathering of civilians at the Al-Shati Camp, west of Gaza City, killing 3 Palestinians and wounding others who were taken to the Baptist Gaza Hospital in the city.
Two others were killed, and others wounded, as a result of several occupation raids on Rafah, in Gaza's south, with violent artillery shelling, bombing and gunfire by Zionist soldiers roaming the Saudi neighborhood, west of the city, burning and detonating homes with explosives.
The current death toll as a result of the Israeli occupation's ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip now exceeds 37'626, mostly women and children, while another 86'098 others have been wounded since Oct. 7th.

IRIS KELLY DOESN'T DATE - ASHLEY HERRING BLAKE Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ashley Herring Blake has written another sapphic romance that I was barely able to out down until it was finished. Iris and Stevie are incredibly cute. The book is really successful take on fake dating that actually seems like a plausible reason two people could fake date!
I loved seeing Bright Falls one last time, although I do wish there was two epilogues one for the Iris/Stevie and one for the whole cast!
Based on this trilogy, any sapphic story Ashley Herring Blake writes will be an auto-buy for me.
Many thanks to Berkley Publishing Group for an eARC via Netgalley in exchange for my honest review. Iris Kelly is released today (Oct 24th) in the US!

Productivity Journey
Today was shitty. Slept almost all day. The weather is rainy. I love that, because it makes sleeping fun. I want to cuddle in this weather. But still, I am proud of myself for certain things. It's almost the dawn of 25th Oct. But until the sun comes out, I think I am going to consider it to be 24th. *Peace*
I am lowkey losing my ability to process memories. Maybe this is an impact of the steroid from the halers. I do not want to live with my memories lost. Or, maybe life is going to change. But then, I won't be able to teach anymore. Because I lose words amidst lectures and sentences nowadays. I wish I could be my older self, who remembered more. Could learn whole scripts fast (*even others lines*). So, I am lowkey hating halers right now. Especially the lupihaler.
Day 2 - 24/10/2024
Things I am proud of
Woke up and folded sheets.
Brushed, ate properly.
Finished watching Bojack Horseman.
Started working on my memoir. I don't know why, it has always been my dream of writing this piece. So, today, I started. I keep feeling like writing a book.
Took a session. Earned a bit.
Didn't obsess over facebook.
Wrote payslip for one college.
Did some Spanish on Duolingo.
Made dinner for baba.
Read only 3-4 pages.
Replied to mithi.
Took nasal spray, took inhaler once.
Did some journaling.
Things I am not super proud of -
Didn't have a bath.
Had 2 cups of coffee after 6pm.
Slept way too much. 10 hours.
Didn't read much.
Couldn't work on my proposal.
Didn't take second dose of inhaler.
Special mention - I received praise for my writing today. Prose that is. I think I should start working on a creative piece as well. I am thankful I was/am able to write. ♥

And didn't the rumour come out after he was reminiscing Leighton?
Since you asked, I wanted to share my observations and opinions about the timeline between September 19th and October 11th. It’s honestly a wild ride! Feel free to post it or not, depending on what you think is best. Sorry if I missed anything—I’m just trying to connect the dots here (You probably know more about PR tbh) :
Sept 19th – Sebastian drops some nostalgia bombs in his Variety article about Leighton Meester, which probably sent CAA into panic mode. Cue the scramble to boost AW’s visibility and deflect attention away from his past. They start throwing crumbs in the following weeks.
Sept 20th – In a Today Show interview, Seb mentions a bracelet from his mom, and you’d think he just declared war on the 'Stall' shippers! Their meltdown over his jewelry being tied to AW is peak absurdity. Like, chill—it’s a bracelet from the woman who gave birth to him—his MOTHER!
Sept 24th – Cleide Klock from CAA casually mentions Seb’s “girlfriend” who grew up in Portugal (ahem, AW) in an interview that went nowhere. Classic CAA move to keep AW relevant while trying to maintain their narrative.
Sept 19th - Oct 4th – DeuxMoi gets questions about Seb and AW’s relationship status, and what does DeuxMoi do? She posts screenshots of AW liking stuff and the stories she had about Seb's movie on IG. It’s like DeuxMoi is trying to portray AW as the supportive GF while also playing a game of whack-a-mole to keep her in the spotlight.
Oct 4th – At the Chiltern Firehouse party, Seb looks straight-up stressed while he pushes AW inside and helps Ruby with the straights instead. That tense jaw and body language say it all—definitely not the romantic vibe CAA is trying to sell. And that awkward selfie from Ruby and AW? Yikes! He legit looks constipated.
Oct 11th – DeuxMoi drops the bomb about Seb and Leighton, calling him a “couch fucker.” Like, can you say character assassination? This feels like a preemptive strike for AW to play the “wronged girlfriend” card if Seb doesn’t renew her contract.
Oct 13th – A video surfaces of Seb looking totally distressed while bolting from a hotel, with AW lagging behind like a lost puppy. The dude didn’t even glance back. Talk about a disconnect! Evelyn was there too, but honestly, who cares?
Oct 17th – AW tagged along with the cast at the Apprentice Gala Premiere in Copenhagen (as if she was part of the movie) —a classic desperate attention-seeking move. And Seb's smirk? Yeah, that’s not the look of a guy smitten. I mean, his eyes were doing something, and that smirk? It sounded more like a sarcastic “I’m amused by your antics, but not feeling the love,” totally contradicting the ‘bedroom eyes’ narrative the 'Stall' shippers are pushing.
My two cents:
All this evidence points to CAA trying to keep AW in the picture. Meanwhile, Seb keeps shading her in interviews—like when he mentions how people are addicted to filler, Botox, and social media, implying that those who spend their whole day scrolling lack substance and seek validation elsewhere. I think either she or her team realized he wasn’t going to renew the contract, so they paid DeuxMoi to post the podcast claiming Sebastian cheated on Leighton. Suddenly, we start seeing stories about him allegedly cheating on Jennifer and Diana, too.
It feels like a desperate attempt to either back him into a corner to renew the contract or set the stage for AW to portray herself as the saintly girlfriend who always supported him, only to be cheated on like he always does. Cue the “poor AW” narrative! Seriously, dragging up something that may or may not have happened years ago? Really?
Damn, that was loooong, and I probably forgot some stuff! I didn’t even get into her baiting and lurking on Insta stories because I’d be writing an entire novel instead of an ask (sorry, lol). So yeah, that’s basically my take on things, but who knows… maybe I’m just overthinking this soap opera! 🤷‍♀️
