I just caught up with the entire Han river fight chapters and the last fight was so good! Like, yes keep all those twists and tactics coming in!! Damn enjoyed it so much 🔥

This also gets me excited and runs my brain on if and how they plan to execute this segment of the story in the Weak hero live action, in season 2 maybe? (All hopes in!)

BTW the webtoon's title 'WEAK HERO' lives up to its name. There are so many strong characters here! Hence every time I forget, I'm reminded that our MC is Gray, that's not really strong (physically) but knows how to fill that hole with his mind games!

study group adaptation rant #2

omgomgomgggggg!!! We actually got a Sunchul and his notes intro!!!!! No waaaaaay!!!!!

Screaming crying throwing up 😭 I'm ....so happy!

Can we talk about Gamin's badass mom?! HEHEHEEHHEHEHE YAAASSSSS!!!!!!

Now only his uncle's face reveal is left. This is one badass family 🔥😂

The action scenes in this series is a whole buffet! I'm loving it all the way 😌👌🏼ugh never been so satisfied with the execution.

Sehyeon feeling inferior and defeated got me screaming "FRIENDS HELP EACH OTHER. YOU ARE THE ONE HELPING GAMIN WITH STUDY GROUP!!!!" huff....he really needed that fight to defend himself, it was so satisfying. My boy, you need a daily dose of Gamin's and Huiwon's boba eyes sweetness to the times x10. Also, the actor that's playing his dad is the one that played Jooan's violent, alcoholic dad from Begins Youth. Triggered my anger all the way lmao 😭😂

sorry I forgot about everything else as soon as Sunchul's character popped up 🤣 I had so many thoughts while watching but now they've all disappeared lol

Study Group adaptation rant!

Unlike what I planned, I gave in and started watching the series last week lol. First 2 episodes were so good and the introduction to Gamin and Sehyeon was chef-kiss! They cooked!

This week we finally got introduced to other members of study group!! As a webtoon reader I'm so happy with the casting.

I was eagerly waiting for Jiu's scenes aah I'm so satisfied. Also can we talk about Red pepper paste aka Jun!! The way I cheered when he finally appeared 🤣 (oh he ain't leaving that flag here too, so glad they kept that lol)....... I hope they sail my Jiu x Jun and Sehyeon x Huiwon ship here 👀

Ofc Jun and Gamin, my two blorbos joining Yusung through similar rumours (although different goals of getting better at fighting and studying lol), I shouldn't be surprised.... I can't remember if it was in webtoon but I liked how both their classroom entries were with the same fight scene in the background 😂

also! We're already moving to S2 of webtoon?? I guess it's understandable to maintain variety in the series.

Umm......is his Uncle going to remain a mystery here as well ?...... I wonder if they plan to make a S2 and reveal him there .....as ylab's other webtoon has not been adapted so I'm not really sure what they're trying to pull but I guess we'll see 🤷🏽‍♀️

They had me crying right in the first episode! Am I turning into an emotional person?? This kid is such a great actor because I felt so sorry for Gamin. No body wanted him in their study group when he literally tries so hard! 😭 Thank you Sehyeon for not abandoning him, Gamin was so happy, ugh my heart!

I'm so sad we don't have Suncheol, he really had such a great arc. Hoping for a miracle in coming episodes! 🤞🏼😔

I had added this randomly into my watchlist few months back and it turned out absolute gold.

The funniest scene was probably when xiaoshi kept calling for luguang after they mistakenly entered the pre-match picture 😭 look where greed got you my boy! I was so scared he'd change the main node lmao but phew he saved the day! This boy literally went "I DEFENDED MY IDOL". masterpiece 🤣

Or when Qiao ling found their secret 😭 and xiaoshi made 5 versions of the story lol but thanks to her, these silly boys continued to work together.

Actually I loved how xiaoshi started studying about the cases beforehand so that he'd make no mistakes. Always giving 200% , a true hero and and I love him so much because what do you mean he learnt to ride the bike just for lu Guang 🥺

umm.... I'm sad they didn't mention that Lu Guang was an Artist, until the later end of the show?? I wish we had gotten more of this!

Jfc does the paradise of thorns touch on many incredibly relevant social issues, but with it only half an hour fresh in my devastated mind there’s one thing I need to quickly jot down: THIS is where infighting leads us. Whether someone is oppressed as a gay man with no legal rights to what’s his or as a woman with no possibilities of making a way on their own, as long as they’re stuck fighting over scraps against each other the men in power will get away with everything. I just finished watching the movie. As much the movie broke me, this song healed me. I sat there through out the credits roll so this music could wash the pain away. What can Jeff not do? He's so talented and I hope he keeps achieving everything good, he deserves it.❤️

Honestly I think we, as a fandom, moved on from Jeff Satur's Rain Wedding far too quickly. I'm so incredibly obsessed with it yall have no idea
