green beans | choi seungcheol
Tumblr media
pairing: choi seungcheol x reader
warnings: non-idol au, ceo!seungcheol, lots of fluff, reader is implied to be female, playful bantering, pet names ('babydoll'), mentions of children, reader is a badass housewife, lots of kissing
now playing: a lonely night (the weeknd)
word count: 699 (1 away from 700 are you serious)
"I'm home," The sound of footsteps pulled your attention from the simmering pan of vegetables, and you turned to see your CEO husband Seungcheol, sleeves to his button-up shirt rolled up as he dropped his wallet and keys on the countertop.
He strolled up to you, smiling as he pressed a kiss to your neck, smiling against your warm skin. "Smells so good, babydoll."
"Thank you, Cheollie. How was your day?" You ask, and Seungcheol sighs, leaning back on the cuonter as he clears his throat.
"Very tiring. We had new interns today and they brought me to my limits multiple times. One of them even clogged up the toilets." Seungcheol's voice was tired, and you chuckled, almost bursting out with laughter over your simmering green beans.
Sighing, you seasoned the greens with a bit more soy sauce, stepping back seconds after as you properly brought your arms around Seungcheol's neck. He pressed into you, smiling underneath your touch as you kissed him passionately.
"What if they see us?" Seungcheol chuckles deviously, eyes crinkling up with his smile as you blush and swat his chest. "We're not doing anything bad, Cheol."
"Are we sure kissing in front of our family dinner isn't bad, babydoll?" Seungcheol's hands squeeze your sides, and you roll your eyes at him, flicking your water covered hands at him as he gasps.
"Like you've not kissed my hand and collarbone while stirring green beans." You rolled your eyes at him, and he giggled, that cute, familiar chuckle sending shivers down your arms.
"You were too damn cute, hunched over the oven trying to season the green beans right. I was gonna explode if I didn't grab your face and kiss you until you couldn't think." Seungcheol whines, lips pouty as he nuzzles his face in your collarbone again. Laughing aloud, you jump when you hear your six-year-old daughter's voice come crashing into the kitchen.
"Daddy!" Her arms were open wide, and Seungcheol pulled away swiftly, catching her in his arms as he spins her around.
"Oh, it's my pretty little girl! How was your day?" He smiled at his daughter with such joy it broke your heart a little, and Yena couldn't help but squeal with delight, small gummy smile lighting up your world.
"Good, Daddy! I got first place in my class's spelling bee!" Yena jumped up and down in excitement, and Seungcheol's eyes sparkled as he kissed her all over her face, causing Yena to squeal happily.
"That's my smart, pretty girl." He praised her, and soon afterwards, your son, named after your husband, made his way into the kitchen. His thick eyebrows, which matched his father's, rose into his hairline as he crashed into his father's arms.
"And how have you been?" He questioned his son, and he smiled. "I've been good, Dad. I missed you so much. Mom missed you even more, though." The younger Seungcheol smiled evily as he grinned up at you, and you glared at him, neck and cheeks heating up as your husband laid eyes on you, obviously enjoying your flustered reaction.
"Seungcheol II!" You whisper to him, and he skips off happily, Yena sprinting after him.
"So you missed me?" Seungcheol teased, leaning in as he kissed the shell of your ear.
"........Maybe," You crossed your arms, and Seungcheol dove into your neck again, peppering kisses across your collarbone as his lips leave a trail of warm tingles down your neck and over your body.
"Your green beans are burning, by the way." He whispers, deep voice making your arm hair stand up before you blush deeply, stirring the beans once more as you mutter, "You made me forget how to stir for a second, Cheol."
"Keep stirring, babydoll, you're doing great." Seungcheol smiles, a hint of sarcasm behind his voice as he holds up two thumbs in an measly encouragement. Smiling at your husband's antics, you finish up dinner, smiling as you finally sit down beside your other half and enjoy a nice, home-cooked meal.

boyfriend shaped | lee seokmin
Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: lee seokmin x reader
warnings: none, fluff, reader is implied to be female ('sweet girl', 'sweetheart'), non!idol au, mentions of dokyeom being a kindergarten teacher, dokyeom is boyfriend shaped in his newest ig post and i'm crying because of it
Dinner with your boyfriend was something you looked forward to.
Every Friday—since your boyfriend spent most of his week dealing with kindergarters who threw up on their sleeping mats and couldn't spell dog without adding an extra 'o'—promised to take you out to a nice fancy resturant and spend time with you afterwards.
The two of you were at a traditional Korean resturant this time around, and you couldn't help but stare at your attractive boyfriend from across the table, eyes runnig along his muscles and tanned skin.
After a few seconds of looking down at his menu, he catches your eyes, smiling as his sharp nose scrunches up in the cutest way.
"What?" He questions, obviously teasing. Seokmin knows better than anyone that you find yourself staring at him more often than not, and he loves teasing you for it (even if he does the same thing to you).
"You're so handsome and I love you." Sighing, you pull him by his hand, making him lean over the wooden table as you press your lemonade-tainted lips to his. He sighs under you, lips stretching into a gentle smile as he pecks your lips a few more times before pulling away.
His face is red, and his dark brown eyes are darting around the seating area as he pushes his horn rimmed glasses further upon his nose bridge.
"You're something else, you know that? I have to order for me and you in a minute, and you're over here complimenting me out of the blue and kissing me. How am I supposed to function with you kissing the thoughts out of me?" Seokmin sounds annoyed, but the smile on his face and the lovestruck look in his dark brown eyes makes you giggle.
"You don't mind it though, do you?" Sipping on your lemonade yet again, Seokmin chuckles, shaking his head as he closes the menu.
"No, I don't, but as I'd tell my kids—be patient, and good things will come to you." Seokmin's voice dropped an octave lower when he said the second half of that sentence, and you gasped, swatting his hand as he giggles cutely.
"You're absolutely diabolical, Seokmin." He chuckles at your choice of words, but doesn't deny it, smiling at you once more before the waiter appears at the side of the table.
After he finishes taking your orders, he grabs your menu for you and hands it to the waiter, thanking him for you as he directs his attention back to you.
"So, how was your day, sweet girl?" Seokmin locks his eyes on you, listening intently as you tell him all about your day.
You leave nothing out, mentioning everything from how you were about 20 minutes late to work due to a traffic jam, and the mediocre lunch you had on your break. Seokmin sits there patiently and listens, interjecting funny comments or comforting words when he can, and he encorages you as you begin to talk about the possibility of you quitting your stressful job.
"You really mean that?" You ask in disbelief, his sweet and tactful words making your eyes tear up as he nods, smiling at you as he pushes his nose to yours.
"Of course I mean it. I'll support you in whatever you want to do. Wherever you go, I follow. Whatever you do, I do." Seokmin's voice is so sweet and calming you can't argue with him any longer, and you lean in to kiss him again, smiling as he hums happily under you.
Seokmin wasn't usually this desperate for kisses, but it kept seeming as if he was making ways for you to kiss him. You thought it was cute, the way he was trying to be so nonchalant about it.
"Why are you so kissy today?" You question, and Seokmin pauses, eyes sparkling as he frowns slightly. "Why, do you not like it?" He sounds hurt, and it breaks your heart a little, seeing his dark brown widen like a kicked puppy.
"No, no, Min. I love it. I adore it, if I'm being honest," You smile, and Seokmin cheers up quickly, eyes darting down to your lips as he sighs.
"I love you, sweetheart." Seokmin said the phrase almost ever hour of every day, but times like this—where the mood was sweet and mellow—the three-word expression made you suddenly even more grateful for Seokmin's sweet heart and kind disposition.
"And I love you, Min." Grabbing his hands, you kiss each of his fingertips, smiling as Seokmin giggles, huffling cutely as you chuckle at his reaction.

1-800-got-stress | jeon wonwoo
Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: jeon wonwoo x reader
warnings: non-idol au, college/professor au, slight romance (?), english professor wonwoo x teacher's assistant reader, tiny sprinkles of humor, one-sided crush (?), wonwoo is very dense when it comes to reader's romantic feelings (not really though), reader still loves him anyways, cute ending??
now playing: return of the mack, mack morrison
dedicated to: @k1eev (<3)
"After the lecture, I want you all to come see my assistant before you leave. She has the next module printed out and organized for you all." Wonwoo's deep voice is the next thing you hear once you snap back into reality, and many of the college student's eyes dart away from you as you look around, more than likely aware of how long you've been gaping at the English professor.
Jeon Wonwoo was the person always on your mind now—ever since you started as his teacher's assistant earlier this month, you've always been thinking about him.
He was everything you weren't—calm, professional, disciplined and put-together. He knew what to say and how to say it, and what to do and how to do it—you were ninety-nine percent convinced that there was nothing Wonwoo couldn't do.
Not only was he annoyingly perfect at his job, but he was annoyingly handsome too—he was handsome to a massive amount of people, students and other professors included. He had sharp eyes that seemed to grow even sharper with the perfect amount of tiredness, and hard-edged features that you had memorized now with how much you had stared at him when he worked.
Time went slow as Wonwoo talked, deep voice echoing through the lecture hall as he gave his presentation on the deeper story of Romeo and Juliet, asking his class questions as he gaged their attention span.
You thought about how nervous you would feel under Wonwoo's gaze. Your face just heated up at it, imagining how you wouldn't be able to look him in the face without feeling completely inadequate.
It was already hard for you to look him in the face, and you were his personal assistant.
"Please finish the last essay I assigned at the beginning of the month. Since we're starting a new module this Friday, I want everyone to be on the same page." Wonwoo's voice was monotonous as students started to pack their things, and you placed the stack of module papers on the desk, letting the students grab and go.
The class filtered out slowly, some staying behind to ask Wonwoo questions and garner advice from him. You watched them quietly, straightening the closet as you dipped in and out of their conversations.
You had just heard another professor enter the room, asking Wonwoo to go out with her tonight for a drink, (to which he politely refused), when Wonwoo had addressed you.
"Are you doing alright? You've looked really tired today." Wonwoo's thick, stern eyebrows are flat as he stares at you blankly, and you try to read his sharp eyes for any flicker of emotion for a quick second, giving up as you give him an awkward smile.
"Oh, I'm fine, Mr. Jeon. I'm not even tired—just a bit distracted, that's all." You reassure him, and Wonwoo nods, looking down at his watch as you finish straightening up your desk.
"You should get some rest. It's not good for you to be tired and trying to assist me, is it?" Wonwoo has a faint smile on his lips when he says this, and you try not to blush or melt under his hot gaze against your skin, fiddling with your collar awkwardly as you nod.
"Here, let me help you with those." Wonwoo's voice is directed to the stack of heavy books teetering on the end of your desk. You nod to him gratefully, allowing him to pick them up as you walk to the other side of the room, unlocking the storage closet door.
He held the books without strain, face still as he waited for you to finish putting your share of books down. Wonwoo followed you, cologne wafting in the air and drifting under your nose as he turned off the lights.
"Thank you for today. You did very well." Wonwoo's voice was sweet as he smiled at you, and you returned the gesture stiffly, making your way back to the desk as you grabbed your things.
"Of course, Mr. Jeon. You did well too, I mean—you did well with the lectures and everything. You teach everything in such a fresh way, it's tough for anyone to not be compelled or interested in what you're teaching." You were a sucker for Jeon Wonwoo, and it was starting to show more and more now—how were you supposed to be normal about him?
"It takes a lot to make the lecture engaging and informative, so I'm glad you think that of me. Many students call me the boring teacher." Wonwoo's voice is lighthearted as he finishes straightening up his desk, and you chuckle, mostly at the absurdity of his words.
"You're quite the opposite of a boring teacher, in my opinion. Your stories and explanations are way more animated than the textbooks could be." Were you showering your superior-turned-crush with embellished compliments? Yes. Did you want him to notice?
...Not really.
"You sure do have a lot to think about me, don't you?" Wonwoo's voice is still playful, even if it has a neutralness to it. You blush slightly at his words, earning a smile from Wonwoo as he smiles. "I'm just teasing you. I appreciate everything you say to me."
A slight pink tint to Wonwoo's cheeks brings an even brighter one to yours, and the two of you fall silent, obviously sensing something between you. Wonwoo's eyes rake over your form, and you shyly look up at him, dark brown eyes behind his frame still making you warm inside as you sigh (dreamily and deliriously, as you might add).
You had made Wonwoo—Professor Jeon Wonwoo, the boring, scarily neutral English professor—blush from your compliments. You would be wallowing in your achievement if you weren't also blushing at the moment.
"Well, I, uh—" You stumble over your words, also stumbling over your book as you pick it up from the floor. Wonwoo watches you quietly, glasses sliding down his strong nose bridge slightly as he watches you head towards the door. "I should get going. It's getting late, and I have to be back here early tomorrow."
"I'll walk you to your car." Wonwoo nods, following suit as he slips his jacket over his broad shoulders and picks up his briefcase. His dress shoes hit the wooden floor as he follows after you, and he turns out the light, leaving you two engulfed in darkness for a few seconds as you stumble back, stepping on Wonwoo's foot.
He grunts harshly under you, and you scramble back, lights in the hallway illuminating your embarrassed blush. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry."
Wonwoo just smiles again, smile lines sending butterflies that go straight to your stomach. "No worries. You couldn't see because of me, and I'm sorry." His cologne is so strong and so him you can't think straight, but you do your best to string your words together.
"Well, Mr. Jeon, I'll see you tomorrow," The two of you had just left the building, now by your car as you unlock the door. Wonwoo watches you with sharp eyes, clearing his throat as you turn to him.
"If—If you'd like, we should converse over dinner sometime. Not as coworkers, but as good friends." Wonwoo's sentence brought a rude awakening to your world, and you stood in shocked silence for a second, processing what he said to you as you blinked blankly.
Wonwoo considered you to be a good friend—you would have never told by how unfazed he was by most things, but he considered you to be more than a coworker or partner. He saw you as a friend. A good friend who was asking you to dinner.
"Yeah, we—we should, Mr. Jeon." You agree, and Wonwoo clears his throat, sharp eyes daring away as he adds, "Oh, and you can call me Wonwoo. We're comfortable with each other now, so we can drop the formalities."
Not only were you Wonwoo's good friend, but you were such a good friend you could now call Mr. Jeon by his real name, Wonwoo. Too many green flags were going off in your head, but could Wonwoo sense he was giving you all these green flags? It only made your crush on him worse.
"Well, I'll get going, Wonwoo." Even his name on your lips felt sweet, and Wonwoo nodded, giving you a small wave as he closed your car door.
"Until tomorrow." He smiles softly again, and you melt into your seat, smiling as you nod back. "Until tomorrow."
feedback & reblogs are appreciated! love u lyrnation <3

i'll see you there tomorrow | lee seokmin
Tumblr media
pairing: lee seokmin x reader
warnings: none, fluff, lots of kissing & cuddling, reader is implied to be female ("honey", "babygirl"), mentions of children & pregnancy, dokyeom & you are happily married, wholesome couple things
playlist: hip shop (deltarune ost) & a girls feelings (sailor moon ost)
"Is she finally sleeping?" Sighing from your place in the bed, your eyes meet your husband's broad back as he nods, tucking the small baby blanket up to her chin before he turns back around. His brown hair is still damp from the shower he had just taken a few minutes ago, and his plaid sleeping set smelled like lavender....and baby formula, to which you attested to as being from his accidental spill.
"Yeah, honey, she's out like a light." Seokmin's voice is quiet as to not wake the newborn up, and he makes his way back to his side of the bed quietly, glancing at his phone once more before turning it on silent mode and sliding in beside you.
The past month had been hell for you and Seokmin. The two of you were introducing a new baby girl named Mimi into the world, and had to spend most of your evenings rocking her to sleep, making sure she was fed well, and had enough diapers to last her for the night.
She, like her father, was a light sleeper, and needed the room to be absolutely quiet or she wouldn't go to bed. Mimi was stubborn, even at two months old, and she cried and cried until Seokmin rocked her back to sleep and quietly left her alone.
The two of you had to learn the hard way, though, and most of your night was filled with the two of you playing rock paper scissors half-asleep to choose who would rock Mimi after she started to cry from the startup hum of the air conditioning at three in the morning.
"She's so cute, Seokmin," You sigh, baby fever hitting you like a brick. From your vantage point in your queen-sized bed, the bassinet held tiny little Mimi safely, and you could see her small face and beanie-covered head through the protective railing.
"She is. And she's ours." Seokmin turns to you, body warm and toned as he scoots closer to your spot in the bed. Taking the hint, you lean in as well, body pressed to Seokmin's chest as his toned arms encase you in his heat. Smiling under him, you kiss his neck, to which the man above you gasps in surprise and chuckles quietly.
"Shhh, you're going to make me wake Mimi," Seokmin wears a pout, but you ignore him, pecking him a few more times (with a few more gasps tumbling from your husband's lips), before you finally lay off.
"Ahh, I missed this. Missed you, Minnie." You knew exactly what you were talking about—you missed spending time alone with Seokmin whenever you wanted.
You missed having late nights together doing nothing but showering each other with love and spending time with each other. You missed having no worries other than deciding on takeout for dinner and what movies to watch during late night snacking sessions.
"I missed you more, baby girl. Mimi was the best thing to happen to us, but also limited a lot of our time with each other." Seokmin's hands slide under your shirt, meeting your cold back as he rubs it gently.
You giggle at his cold fingertips, but soon become still as it starts to calm you down. Your head is pressed into Seokmin's chest, and you can feel his warm skin touching yours as you sigh.
"She's so greedy." You pout, and Seokmin chuckles quietly, pecking your nose as he grins at you. "She's just like her mama."
You don't deny your husband's allegations, giggling into his chest as his chest heaves and falls with his own uncontrollable chuckles. The room is warm with the feeling of love, and you're sure even Mimi can feel it, as she shuffles in her bed, a small sound resembling a giggle coming from the bassinet.
"Did you hear that?" Seokmin raised an eyebrow, his contagious smile causing your cheeks to burn with your own as his eyes sparkled in the lamp light.
"She just giggled, yeah." You finish his sentence, and Seokmin's lips turn into a pout as he whispers, "Mimi just giggled, honey! Isn't that amazing?"
The excitement in your husband's eyes made you melt a little, and you nodded as Seokmin's hands lightly brush over your stomach, making you giggle.
"Is your tummy still hurting?" Seokmin knew that your c-section must have been painful, but he still heard you complaining about the ache even now. You nodded, humming as he allowed you to turn your back to him, letting him run his hands across your healing stomach. "A little bit, but it's better than the first two weeks."
"Well good. I don't want you to hurt forever, honey." He kisses the shell of your ear and your neck slyly, watching how your face scrunches up with the delicate touch.
"I won't. The doctor said it'll heal quickly soon. Mimi was just a lot to take out." You chuckle, glancing back at the bassinet. Mimi's small eyes are still closed, and she sleeps curled up, lips in a small smile as you lean into Seokmin's warmth.
"We love you, Mimi." Seokmin whispers, and you laugh quietly, nodding as your hands drop to meet Seokmin's at your stomach.
"We love you, Mimi."
"And we love each other." Seokmin leans down and buries his face in the crook of your neck, placing kisses up and down the side of your neck, shell of your ear, and even pecking your collarbone a few times.
"We do." You sigh dreamily, letting Seokmin kiss your worries away.

this changed my life forever as a dokyeom stan
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
[⚾] where seokmin can't wait for his son to grow up and play baseball with him.
"papapapa." it was already the sixth or seventh time you heard your baby babbling that word, the small voice echoing in the room. it was late afternoon, and you were sitting on the couch, watching your child play with the toys scattered on the soft carpet. but something seemed to be missing. the baby's curious eyes wandered around the room, searching for something or someone. you knew perfectly well what—or rather, who—he was looking for. seokmin, your husband, loved to practice baseball on his days off, and that day, he was taking longer than usual to return home.
the baby began to get restless with the absence of his dad, making faces and emitting small sounds in an attempt to get attention. his big, curious eyes explored the environment while he babbled once again: "papapa." this time, there was a confused expression on his little face, as if he was trying to understand why dad wasn't there.
you watched as he crawled to the bedroom where seokmin usually told stories before bed, but upon arriving there, he found the space empty. a gentle ache filled your chest as you saw the little one so distressed, and you followed him into the room.
"my love, appa isn't here," you murmured, picking him up and feeling the tenderness of the moment. it was impressive how, even so small, he already showed so much affection and longing for his dad.
determined to cheer up your child, you went to the closet and carefully took out the tiny jersey that seokmin had kept with so much love. it was a dodgers shirt with the number 17 on the back, along with an mlb cap from new era, also from the dodgers. items that seokmin had bought excitedly while you were still pregnant, eager for the future.
with the baby in your arms, you dressed him in the jersey, which was still a bit big, and adjusted the cap, which was also too large for his little head. seeing him dressed like this, a miniature version of seokmin, you couldn't help but smile. the baby watched you curiously, a smile lighting up his face as if he understood what was about to happen.
"shall we go see appa?" you asked, knowing that while he might not understand all the words yet, "appa" was one he knew well. the answer came in the form of a joyful giggle.
you grabbed the diaper bag and walked leisurely to the field where seokmin usually trained. the air was fresh, and your child observed the colors and sounds along the way, his eyes shining with fascination.
upon arriving at the field, you spotted seokmin running around the bases, fully focused on the practice. his teammates were also busy, each in their position. still holding the baby, you stopped near the fence and watched seokmin for a moment. he seemed so at ease there, playing baseball, as if he were performing on stage, and you felt a wave of pride for him.
one of seokmin's friends noticed your presence and waved, catching his attention. "seokmin, look who's here!" he shouted, pointing in your direction.
seokmin stopped and turned immediately, a smile already forming before he even saw you. when he finally realized it was you and your child, his eyes sparkled with joy. he dropped the baseball glove on the ground and ran towards you, his heart racing with happiness. the baby laughed with excitement in your arms, recognizing the familiar figure quickly approaching.
"look at this outfit!" seokmin exclaimed when he got close, laughing as he took the baby in his arms. "you're dressed just like appa."
the baby held seokmin's face with his tiny hands, still laughing with joy at seeing his dad. seokmin lifted him in the air and brought him close, kissing his cheek with affection.
"sorry for showing up without warning," you said, smiling as you watched the scene, "but he kept calling for you all afternoon. i thought bringing him here would cheer him up."
"are you serious?" seokmin asked, surprised, a huge smile on his face. "he was calling for me?"
you nodded, caressing his face. seokmin leaned in and gave you a gentle kiss. "were you waiting for appa?" he asked the baby, who laughed at recognizing the word.
"i told you…" you laughed, amused.
seokmin turned to his friends, proudly showing off his son. "look who came to beat you all!" he said loudly, with pride.
"i can't wait for him to grow up and come play with me," he confessed to you, his gaze still fixed on the baby.
you laughed, crossing your arms and pretending to be worried. "oh? and who’s going to take care of me when you two are out on the field? am i going to be left alone at home?"
"it's not like that, love, i just…" he tried to explain, but you interrupted him with a gentle kiss, and he smiled, feeling his heart warm.
the two of you smiled, and you watched the man you loved hold your son with such care.
you and the little one sat on the small bleachers, now more relaxed, still fascinated by the environment and by the presence of his dad. you adjusted his cap and positioned him on your lap so he could see seokmin in action on the field.
seokmin focused on the game, but not before blowing kisses to his son, who laughed at the sight. you laughed along, charmed by the scene.
the game continued for a while longer until the baby finally began to get sleepy, perhaps lulled by the rhythm of the game or by the comfort of being close to his dad. when the game ended, seokmin waved at you, and you had the baby relaxed in your arms.
he ran towards you, still smiling, his face sweaty. gently, he took the baby, who was already fast asleep, and slung the diaper bag over his shoulder.
"he was exhausted from looking for you earlier," you said softly, as you watched seokmin adjust the baby in his arms. "but now that he's seen you, he's at peace."
seokmin smiled, looking at the baby sleeping so soundly. "thank you for bringing him here. i had no idea how much i missed you both while i was training."
you started walking back home, taking your time. seokmin held the bag in one hand and kept the baby secure against his chest with the other. you, in turn, carried seokmin's glove with the baseball inside.
"i'm not sure how i feel about having another baseball player in the house," you teased, tossing the ball in the air. "he seems to have taken a liking to being on the field."
seokmin chuckled softly, his eyes shining with happiness. "i admit, i can't wait to see him running around the field, with the same passion i have," he said, looking at you lovingly. "but we can fix that."
"how?" you asked, curious.
he stopped walking for a moment and, still holding the baby, pulled you closer, intertwining his fingers with yours. "we can have another one…"
you smiled, feeling the warmth of his hand in yours, and continued walking together along the quiet street. in the silence of the night, the sound of your footsteps mingled with the baby's soft snores. "i love you, seokmin," you said, squeezing his hand.
"i love you too, y/n. thank you for today."

mr. lucky | lee seokmin
Tumblr media
pairing: lee seokmin x reader
warnings: none, fluff, mentions of stress, idol-au, clingy!reader, kissing, tiny bit of angst & crying, overwhelmed!seokmin
"God, I love you." With your arms draped around Seokmin's neck, you pressed kisses to his jawline, causing the male to laugh as you stared at your boyfriend's joyed expression.
The two of you had been in public all day today, and you've been trying your hardest not to crawl up Seokmin's side like a squirrel does a tree. He knew how clingy you have been the past few days, especially since his schedules were jam-packed with practices, hair appointments, and photoshoots. Seokmin has barely had time to relax the past month, and now that he was finally off for a week, you could revel in your boyfriend's presence once again.
"I love you too. You've said that almost ten times though, and we just got home." Seokmin pushes his ballcap further down on his brow, but you take it off completely, revealing his slightly wavy brown hair as you run your hair through it. Seokmin laughs again, hands on your waist as you roll off of him, taking his body with you as you press a kiss to his already kiss-swollen lips.
"Min, I missed you so bad." The pout on your lips is nothing short of slightly petty, and Seokmin just smiles at you, eyes crinkling up as the leftover makeup on his face glitters in the light of your living room. The eyeshadow staining his eyelids is nothing less of ethereal, and the slight glitter on his cheek sends flutters straight to your stomach.
"You're looking at me." Seokmin says, and you continue to lock eyes with him, nodding as your eyes fall to his lips. Tracing your small fingers from Seokmin's ear, to jawline, and down to his collarbone, you nod again slowly, a shy smile gracing your lips.
"How can I not? You're so pretty." You whisper, and Seokmin looks away, cheeks heating up as he starts to sulk, lips jutting out in the cutest way you swear you ever seen as he sighs.
"I wish you'd stop spoling me with your sweet words." Seokmin was saying something that should have sounded serious, but with the way he was pouting and mumbling, you couldn't take him seriously. Smiling, you just sighed, fingers flying to his necklace as you fiddled with it, feeling his hands run up and down your back gently as he sighed, obviously content with what was happening.
His eyelashes fell against his skin so perfectly, and his lips parted in the cutest way⎯it was a crime how stunning Seokmin was after a long day's work, and you felt wrong for hoping he had more days like this: days where he could come home to you spoiling him and making him feel like all the work he did was worth it.
You wanted to make Seokmin feel like he was worth it.
"Are you hungry? Do you want me to make you something?" You sit up, content with spoiling your boyfriend for now. Seokmin, on the other hand, looks completely flabbergasted at your suddent halt, eyes wide as if he wasn't expecting you to stop⎯you thought it was absolutely adorable, the way he looked at you, secretly begging you to keep going.
"It's nine, honey⎯you don't have to do that for me." Seokmin groans as he sits up, pulling off his hoodie to reveal his slightly oversized sweater. He shuffles to the kitchen, grabbing a glass of water as he leans against the countertop. You follow after your boyfriend like a lost puppy, shaking your head as you reach for him again: Seokmin crumbles, as you knew he would, and brings you in for a hug, head on top of yours as you pull away, eyes locking with him.
"Seokmin, you're worth that. I'd cook for you anytime you want, especially since you've worked so hard this week." Seokmin's face falls, and he looks away, lips stuck out in a pout as he mumbles something you can't understand.
"Words, Seokkie." You remind him, and he heaves a heavy sigh, looking back at you as he wets his lips.
"I'm sorry. I'm just really stressed and overwhelmed right now." His voice breaks mid-sentence, and you grab his hands, looking him in his eyes as the corners well up with salty tears.
"Hey, hey⎯you don't have to apologize for this at all. I'm here for everything, Seokkie: if you're stressed, we can talk about it. If you're confused, I can try to help you get some clarity. If you're overwhelmed, we can talk it out. If you're angry, we can calm down together. If you need some love, I'll give you all the love and affection you want." Caressing Seokmin's jawline, he nods, cradling his face in your hand as you smile at him, noticing the tip of his sharp nose as it turns red.
"Awww, poor Seokkie. Don't cry." Wiping his tears, you press a kiss to where the teardrops landed, causing Seokmin to scrunch up his nose as laughs escape from his throat. After a few more kisses and tickles, Seokmin's back to his smiling self again, curly hair bunching around his ears as he stares at you with pure adoration in his eyes.
"Thank you. For everything. I really don't deserve it." Seokmin sighs breathily, kissing your kiss-swollen lips as he brings his hand to your hair, running his lithe fingers through it.
"You deserve it, Seokmin. Stop." You sigh, and Seokmin laughs, turning a blaring red as he kisses you again, causing you to melt to his touch, nearly falling to the tiled floor of your kitchen.
"You're Mr. Lucky." You giggle, locking eyes with your boyfriend as he leans down to you, sharp nose meeting yours as he scrunches his face up, eyes sparkling with love as he smiles.
"I am, aren't I?"

show me how | lee seokmin
Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: lee seokmin x reader
warnings: non-idol au, fluff, kissing, domestic relationship, physical intimacy, lovey-dovey flirty!seokmin, after shower shenanigans, reader is implied to be naked (covered by a towel), seokmin showers reader w compliments, he blow dries her hair for her, they're sweet and in love your honor, reader uses nicknames to refer to seokmin, seokmin uses angel and baby to refer to reader
now playing: show me how, men i trust | requested by: @realmofclouds
Your shower had just finished a few minutes ago, and you were now wrapping yourself up in your warm, dry towel, finishing your skincare as the pleasant smell of lavender and lilies filled the bathroom. The bath scrub Seokmin had bought you last week on your quick date night felt good on your skin, and it left little sparkles in its wake, making you feel like a magical fairy of some sort.
Seokmin had given you money for no particular reason today before he left for work, and you went to the store and browsed some new shampoos, finally deciding on this one with both of your favorite scents.
You had been eager to try the shampoo out ever since you left the store, and after a long day of workouts and cleaning up around you and Seokmin's shared apartment, you finally stepped in the shower, ready to lather up and feel like a brand new person.
As you set up your hair drying station, the creaking of the door goes unnoticed by you, and you're doing your own thing until the sly slip of someone's arms around your waist makes you gasp.
"You smell so pretty, angel. What's this?" Seokmin's voice is soft yet deep, scratching your insides as his breath lightly taps your ear. His fingers run through your wet hair as he inhales the scent of you, his body melting against yours as he presses against you.
"What's what, Seokmin?" You ask, voice light and airy—whether you're too distracted by Seokmin's warm body pressed up against yours, or the fact that your towel is about to fall off, you're not sure, but you're in heaven with the way Seokmin's lips feel on your neck.
He kisses every spot, lightly peppering your ear and shoulder with the same amount of love and affection. He's muttering the words 'pretty' and 'so good' over and over, and you'd think he was drunk with the way he looked up at you with his dark brown, glassy eyes.
"Your shampoo, angel. It smells like someone brushed your head with the rain of heaven." Seokmin sighs, and you laugh at his quite dramatic analogy, hands brushing over Seokmin's bigger ones now resting on your stomach. "It's lavender and lily scented."
"Good god, you smell so pretty. I wanna love you forever and ever," Seokmin hums, and you laugh again, breath tickling his ear as you moan weakly "Stop, Seokmin. You're gonna get wet too."
"I don't care if I'm soaking wet by the time we're done," Seokmin says and you stare at him in the mirror, seeing his sharp eyes look up from your shoulder as he smiles against your wet skin. "I still want to kiss you."
Finally letting him run his course, you maneuver your way to being in front of Seokmin, towel now secure around your drying body as your lips meet his. Sparks fly through your body when he caresses your hip softly, and you feel as if you'd start crackling if he touched you with his fingertips.
When you pull away, you pull away breathlessly, and Seokmin smiles, hands still going to your wet hair as you lean into his touch. "Can I blow dry it for you? I'll take good care of you and your pretty hair, I promise."
The thought of Seokmin brushing your hair after blow-drying it with care made your heart swell, and you nod without a second thought, letting him take over and pamper you.
He spends every second making sure the temperature is warm and that you're comfortable, and the soft music that plays in the echoing bathroom is sweet to your ears as he brushes your hair and hums the lyrics for you.
Seokmin's voice is a soft honey vibrato now, a contrast from his usual high tone—it's reserved for times like these; times when he's loving you and taking care of you so well you feel like you're on top of the world.
Once he finishes with your hair, he takes a dry towel, putting it over your head as he gently scratches at your scalp. You nearly fall out of the chair with how good he is at it, and laugh when he starts to tease you a bit, drying your hair like someone would a dog. The smile that decorates his face when he watches you can only be described as love-filled, and it makes you warm as he turns off the hair dryer.
"So, what do we think, angel?" Seokmin puts his hands on your slightly bare arms, head dropping to the corner between your head and shoulder. You smile, leaning your head on top of his as you pat his hand. "I love it, Min. You did a great job."
Seokmin smiles like a proud child, pressing a kiss to your temple as he studies your face and body. "You look and smell amazing, baby. You're sparkling—quite literally," Seokmin laughs, fingertips covered with the body scrub's glitter.
You laugh, taking your finger and poking Seokmin's nose with it as he laughs. "And now, we're matching."

mary janes | lee seokmin
Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: lee seokmin x reader
warning: non-idol au, kindergarten teacher!seokmin, fluff & romance, kissing, mentions of marriage, slightly suggestive, seokmin uses love & sweetheart, reader uses love and seokmin's nicknames, reader is called mrs. lee by the children, christmas is literally so in, the usual "seokmin soft hours" turn into "(not-so) soft seokmin hours"
Kids ran around like crazy as people started to settle into their seats, and the kindergarten teachers patrolled backstage, browsing to make sure all of their kids were ready and in position. You smiled at two of them as they passed, and they waved at you, familiar with you since you were related to Seokmin, your boyfriend of a year and one of the aforementioned kindergarten teachers.
“Ji-ah?” Seokmin asked, and a tiny female voice answered with a chirpy “Here!”, causing him to smile and mark at his clipboard again. “Seojoon–we are not using the confetti baskets yet. Put them down.” Seokmin sighed tiredly, and the troublemaker reluctantly applied, dropping the basket as other kids snickered.
“Alright, everyone! We’re almost there—” Seokmin consoles the impatient children, glancing down at his watch as he smiles. “Just twenty more minutes.”
“Twenty more minutes?” A little girl asks, and half of the class groans and sighs. “I can’t wait any more! I want to go sing now!” “Why do we have to wait?” “Ugh, this is gonna take forever!” The bunch of kids started complaining, little voices coming together to make a stew of impatient sounds, to which Seokmin had to silence them all.
“If you all listen to me and just continue having quiet talking sessions, time will fly by quickly, I promise,” Seokmin’s brown eyes were wide as he gave them a sweet smile, and all of them were easily persuaded, falling to the ground as they sat with their friends and talked.
Warm with the feeling of greeting parents, grandparents, and family members, and the lingering spirit of decorating the school’s lobby and handing out candy canes warming your heart even more, you came to approach your boyfriend, tapping him on the shoulder as he turned to you.
“And there’s my love.” His voice softened, reminding you of the intimate times you spent at home together, baking Christmas cookies or decorating your small apartment.
“Hi, sweetheart.” Seokmin kissed your cheek, and you smiled, holding his hand as you greeted him. “Hi, Seok. Is everything going well?”
He laughs dryly, rubbing his forehead tiredly as he mumbles, “Surprisingly. I think it’s a Christmas miracle.” You laugh animatedly at his apparent tiredness, and you squeeze his muscled arm hiding under his collared black suit, giving him a sweet smile.
“You’re doing great, love.” You promise, and Seokmin can’t help but break into his signature dazzling smile, leaning into you as a type of discreet hug.
“Mrs. Lee!” One of the students happily exclaims, and the whole class erupts in cheers to which you try to calm them all, pulling away to give each of them a hug.
All of Seokmin’s class were enamored with you—they treated you so much differently from Seokmin and listened to you faster than they did any teacher.
They referred to you with Seokmin’s last name, and no matter how much you corrected them, they never stopped. Even though it made you blush, Seokmin found it quite cute, and therefore the kids continued to call you Mrs. Lee.
“Hi, everyone! Are we all excited?” You ask, and the small crowd of kids erupt into cheers and chatting, to which both you and Seokmin get them to quiet down. “I’m excited to hear you all too. Just please keep quiet for me, okay? We’re starting in ten minutes now.”
“Ten minutes?” “Ten minutes!” “That’s still so long!” “Oh, I can’t wait to sing and wave to my mommy and daddy!” The kids all run up to you and express their excitement, to which you laugh and cheer them all on as you interact with them quietly.
Seokmin’s eyes light up with love for you as he watches you interact with his students like it’s second nature to you. You weren’t a teacher or a person who worked with kids often, as you were a barista at a low-energy cafe where college students spend their mid-terms: you still interacted with children like you were made for it, and it made Seokmin’s heart pound as you hugged a rather shy girl, making sure to comfort her apparent nerves.
At that moment in time, Seokmin wondered what it would be like to give you a baby of your own. He dreamed about how it would have his nose and your soft lips, and how you’d love it and take care of it just like you did the children of his classroom. A tiny boy’s hands wrapped around your hands had Seokmin’s heart melt a little more, and he had to bite back the urge to kiss you out of your pretty red dress and Mary Jane heels you had worn for the occasion.
“Mr. Lee, I have to tinkle.” The shockingly vulgar comment slapped Seokmin back into the now—back into the craziness of there being less than five minutes before the classes assembled on the stage, and back to the fact that a little boy about the age of 5 had to pee.
“You have to use the bathroom? Now?” Seokmin’s face was quite red from the fact he was thinking about some not-so-kindergarten-friendly things about you while surrounded by five-year-olds and a child had tugged on his pants to let him know that he had to tinkle.
“Mhm, I can’t wait.” The boy frowned, and Seokmin put his hand on the boy’s back, leading him to you as he sighed. “Hey, love, can you take Seunghae to the bathroom?” Seokmin sighed, and you looked at him surprised, stunned by both his reddened face and the red face of the kid who had to use the bathroom—currently holding his crotch with an urgency in his eyes. Wanting to question Seokmin as to why his cheeks were a bright red, you nodded quickly, escorting Seungjae to the tiny, slightly rickety bathroom backstage.
Once you finally got Seungjae to stop sniffing the scented cubes decorating the dusty bathroom, you ushered him back to Seokmin’s now-standing class, inserting him into the line as all the kids were giving Seokmin tiny thumbs up as he prepared to go out and speak to the eager congregation.
“You’ve got this, Minnie. You’re gonna do great.” You give him a quick, modest peck to his warm cheekbone, and he smiles at you, eyes raking over your pretty features he had memorized a thousand times before as he fell in love with you a little more. “Thank you, sweetheart. Keep them organized for me.”
You smile before quieting the kids, giving him a pretty, dazzling smile as he feels all his worries and tenseness wither away in the blink of your sparkling eyes. He enters the stage as a new person, overjoyed and more than ready to lead the children through the Christmas program he had worked so hard to present.
“Goodbye, Mr. Lee! See you in three weeks!” One of the girls you had recognized as one of the ones who had a massive crush on Seokmin squealed, and he smiled, handing the sign-out clipboard to another parent whose child was holding onto his hand, tears in his eyes as if he didn’t want to leave.
The Christmas program was a success—even with its slipups and unexpected plot twists. All the children were on their best behavior, even if some had their unexpected spotlights (referring to that one part of 12 Days of Christmas where the kid burst out into tears instead of saying five golden rings), and the parents gave everyone a standing ovation at the end.
“I don’t wanna leave you!” The kid screamed as tears poured down his face, and Seokmin dropped to his knees, wiping the tears away from the boy as he gave a soft smile.
“You have three weeks of no school and no counting! Enjoy it for me, okay?” Seokmin holds up his hand for a high five, and the boy slowly calms down, giving him a high five nevertheless as his dad picks him up and thanks Seokmin before saying goodbye.
“Good work tonight, love. You were great with the kids. I think they love you more than me.” Seokmin frowns, and you can’t help but laugh, hand landing on his firm chest as he smiles down at you. “I love you more than me, so I can’t pretend like they’re wrong for that.” You reply, and Seokmin glares at you, a playful yet warning look on his face as he crosses his arms.
“You better not love yourself more than me. You’re just as special to you as I am to you.” Seokmin’s voice is serious, and you kiss the tip of his nose, watching as his hard countenance breaks and reveals his famous wide smile and sparkling, crescent-shaped eyes as you sigh.
“Okay, okay. Don’t lose it just yet, Mr. Lee.” You tap his lapel, and he just grins at you, smile fading just a bit as you check the clipboard, your eyes dancing over the now checked-off names.
“Well, that’s everyone,” You mark the last name off on the clipboard, double-checking as you look at Seokmin again. His eyes are already on yours, and the soft smile on his lips is enough to make your whole body heat up. “What?”
“You look so pretty, baby. I love your Mary Janes and those delicate sparkly tights you have on.” Seokmin’s hand ghosts over your waist and glides down your hip slowly before you giggle, pulling away. “Thank you, Minnie—you do know we’re still in the school’s foyer, right?”
“I do,” Seokmin’s voice is lowered, and he looks at you with those pretty brown eyes, hand going to cup your cheek as he smiles. “We are done with the Christmas program, and I’m allowed to go home, so why don’t we change that?”
“Yeah, okay,” you agree, clearly softened by Seokmin’s smooth, enticing voice. He giggles at your dazed expression and takes your hand, quickly saying goodbye to his chatting co-workers before leading you to the car.
Even though it was cold outside and snow was falling, you didn’t feel the chill at all. It felt overwhelmingly warm between you and now hot and bothered boyfriend Seokmin, and you both knew there was only one way to solve that problem.
One you couldn’t solve with your pretty Mary Janes on.

The comforting yellow rays of sunshine on your skin
Your stories may not be the most popular, but they never fail to put a much-needed smile onto someone’s face. The joy you bring to others through your talents is truly a gift. Your words and stories carry a lightheartedness that the world is constantly in dire need of. At times, you may feel discouraged from writing and that you’re not good enough, but you have to ignore those thoughts. Give yourself time to rest and soon enough the sun will shine on you again.

The deepest green in a seemingly infinite forest
At the end of your story, everything may not be perfect or even the way the readers may want it to be, but everything will be okay. The ending is what your characters need, not necessarily what they want. You know how to write strong plots that are able to perfectly balance the right mixture of pain and lightheartedness. Writing tropes is one of your favorite things to do and yet somehow your take on it is always something so unique and original it'll make your readers jaws drop.
i think this is accurate… that’s how others have described my writing is like. if you know me i’m not one for happy ending but a realistic endings enthusiast (or as realistic as you can get with fan fiction lol).

shirt | lee seokmin
Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: lee seokmin x reader
warning: non-idol au, domestic fluff, boyfriend!seokmin, lots of kissing, some lighthearted teasing (from seokmin), seokmin showers reader with compliments, petnames ("baby", "sweetpea", "darling), laying your head on seokmin's chest, so much fluff oh my god
now playing: get up, new jeans
word count: 931
Comfy and cozy in your boyfriend's oversized t-shirt and fuzzy socks, you enter the bedroom with a damp towel and wet hair. Seokmin looks up from his book as he locks eyes with your figure, melting at the blob that is your body engulfed in his oversized shirt.
"Is that my shirt, baby?" Seokmin perks up, wavy hair flopping like a puppy's ears as he gives you wide, sparkly brown eyes. He shoots up in bed, back straight and book thrown off to the side as he reaches out to you. You nod, smiling widely as you fling yourself into his arms.
"Yeah, I found it in my dresser before you came upstairs." You hold out your arms, currently draped in the big t-shirt that belongs to Seokmin. He chuckles, fingertips grazing your warm skin as he tugs at the oversized sleeves.
"You look so cute in it. So pretty and warm, baby," Seokmin whispers, pecking the shell of your ear with his soft lips, It makes you want to giggle like a schoolgirl, the way he's piling sweet compliments on top of you.
His arms bring you closer to his chest, and you play with the hem of his shirt for a while as he checks his phone. Seokmin's not looking down, which gives you an opportunity to admire your boyfriend's muscled arms and firm chest. You feel yourself sinking deeper into Seokmin's warmth, and you almost end up falling asleep before he puts his phone down with a sigh.
"Hey, is something wrong?" You ask, sitting up quickly to take Seokmin's cheek in yours as you rub it with your thumb. He shakes his head, lips pursed together as he gives you a tight smile.
"No, no, sweetpea. Just a reminder from a coworker, that's all. Let's talk about something fun, baby—I'm tired of thinking about work." Seokmin snuggles in deeper into the warm king-sized bed, pulling you with him as his thighs flex under you.
"What do you want to talk about?" You ask, and Seokmin hums, obviously deep in thought. You stare at him, pretty eyelashes and delicate beauty marks decorating where they've always been.
"How was your day, baby? I feel like I haven't asked you yet." Seokmin always asked you how your day went, whether it was over dinner, your arrival home, or nights like these—where you'd lay on Seokmin's lap and elaborate on whatever cane to mind.
"It was pretty good—I got a lot done, and I'm glad to be home with you." Smiling, you can't help but put a hand on Seokmin's neck as you press a kiss to his jawline and then his lips.
His eyelashes flutter shut as your shadow covers on him, and once you pull away he opens them again, brown eyes so full with love and adoration towards you, it made your heart soft. Seokmin smiles at your words, cheekbones raising with his warm smile as he nods.
"I'm glad to be home with you too. I missed you. I always miss you, but I missed you a bunch tonight." Seokmin admitted that he could be clingy at times, but that was your favorite thing about him, and you could admit you loved coming home to your boyfriend's big arms, sweet hugs, and warm yet mellow personality.
Seokmin stared at you with such intent and adoration in his eyes that he couldn't help but bring a kiss to your lips again, and he hummed with the sound of his beating heart that sped up every time you moved.
You found it adorable, the way that Seokmin's heart still sped up every time you got close—it made you feel like you had just started dating him all over again, in that sweet yet awkward stage that you loved the most when getting to know him.
"You look so cute in that shirt." Seokmin compliments you again, and you start to become flustered, laughing as you thank him again. He sits up, and you crawl off of him, sitting beside him as you smile. "You've said that about ten times in the past thirty minutes, Minnie."
"You're so pretty, though, sweetpea. I've been so blessed to have you to be mine. So pretty, and so humble about it—my sweet darling." He was feeling himself now, smiling at you deviously as he lowered his gaze to your lips: you were stuck in panic mode, still not used to this side of Seokmin—the flirtatious, kissing-prone side.
"Seokmin," You whined, and your boyfriend giggled, cutting off the rest of whatever sentence you were about to form with a messy kiss. You sighed under him as you melted into his hands, now settled at your waist as you ran your hands through his wavy hair.
After a few minutes of soft kissing and mischievous hums from Seokmin, he pulls away, leaving you breathless and scrambling for a semblance of normalcy as he smiles deviously again.
"Where did you learn how to kiss like that?" You question, and Seokmin just smiles, pressing a softer, more intimate kiss to your forehead as he replies. "I don't know. I think I'm so in love it just came naturally to me."
You laugh, leaning back as your head hits the pillow. Seokmin does the same, laugh coming down to a close as he turns to glance at you, hand coming up to trace your lips.
"I love you." The words are sweet on their own, but with Seokmin's sincere tone, and sweet brown eyes, you can't help but believe them ten times more.
"And I love you, Seokkie."

call me by your name | lee seokmin
Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: lee seokmin x reader
warnings: non-idol au, boyfriend!seokmin, crying!seokmin, some pouting, minor misunderstanding, mentions of feeling inadequate, mentions of jealousy, lots of kissing, fluff (and angst if you squint a bit), petnames ("sweetheart", "sweetpea")
now playing: futile devices, sufjan stevens
"Seokmin, can you come here for a minute?"
It had happened again.
Seokmin's deep brown eyes were pulled away from his phone as he shuffled his way into the kitchen, fluffy socks dragging against the ground as he approached you with wide, worried eyes. He wore a brown button-up, horn-rimmed glasses greeting you as he appeared behind you.
You hadn't called him his usual nicknames—Min, Minnie, and Seok—all day today, and you continued to refer to him as just Seokmin. You never did that unless you were angry, sad, or feeling another strong emotion, and you hadn't said anything to him about it yet.
He was waiting for you to say something to let him know what was wrong, but you said nothing. In fact, you were smiling and acting like your usual self, which meant you weren't sad or angry about anything.
Seokmin tried not to overthink, of course, but he couldn't help it: what if he had said something earlier that hurt you? What if he screwed something up without knowing? What if he had did something that made you feel unloved? Is that why you stopped calling him by his nicknames?
"Yes?" Seokmin's voice was pitched up a bit as he came and rested his head on your shoulder, to which you leaned your head on his.
He said nothing, but his heart broke a little more, confusion etching his features as his lips pursed together in a little pout (that you couldn't see).
"Which one would you like?" You offered a paper menu to him, phone open to Doordash as you were choosing your order from a Korean takeout place. He picked something absentmindedly, brain still flying a mile a minute trying to figure out why you were calling him by his whole name.
"Okay, Seokmin, thank you." You pecked his cheek quickly, closing the menu as you started to input your orders in. His eyes were watering now, and his nose was starting to run as he fell quiet, obviously not wanting to be loud or annoying to you.
Seokmin shuffled his way back to the couch, tears flowing freely now. He didn't know why he felt so strongly about the fact you weren't calling him Minnie or Seok, but it really did make him worry.
He felt inadequate at this moment, feeling as if he didn't offer you enough love to be called by his nicknames. Seokmin felt jealous, jealous that there could be other people out there—other males out there—making you feel better than he could.
After you finished placing the order, you went into the living room, stopping short at the sight of your boyfriend crying to himself.
You were confused beyond belief—why was your boyfriend crying? He didn't seem sad or bothered by anything, so why did he start sobbing out of the blue? Did you do something to him? Did you say something to him that hurt his feelings? Did you ignore him for too long?
"Oh my god, Seokmin? What's—what's wrong?" You asked, rushing to his side as you collapsed on the couch beside him. He fell silent, still sobbing as he pawed at his eyes like an agitated child.
You were confused as to why he was crying, hand on his thigh as you shushed him, pushing his hair away from his tear-streaked cheeks. He continued to cry into his hands until you finally got him to quiet down, and you then took your hands in his, still wiping at his wettened cheeks.
"Seokmin?" You asked again, and he removed his hands away from his eyes, gaze sharp and pressing as he muttered "It's that."
"What?" You pressed, confused, and Seokmin sighed, lips quivering as he continued. "You keep calling me Seokmin." He said his name with such venom you almost jumped at the sheer emotion you felt from his words, and you tried your hardest to understand, eyes falling to his hands that were laying limply in yours. He wasn't even holding them.
"Why do you keep calling me Seokmin? You always call me Minnie, Seok, Kyeom, or some other nickname you come up with for me, but today you've not said one. You've only called me Seokmin. Did I do something wrong? Did I say something that—that hurt you? I don't even know what I did—why aren't you calling me by my names? What did I even do?" Seokmin started to ramble, voice growing higher and his speed picking up as you watched him in surprise, taking his hands in yours once again.
"Hey, hey, Seok." You released a breath you didn't know you were holding, and your boyfriend looked back up at you from his shoes, tears falling again as his eyebrows furrowed. "What?"
"I'm not mad at you, and you didn't say or do anything wrong," You reassured him, scooting closer as you turned his face to yours softly as he looked at you with wide, lost brown eyes.
"I just got caught up in my day. I was so busy with finishing work and cleaning the house and ordering us dinner that I just—I just forgot about you. I forgot the most important thing." You sighed, hands trailing down Seokmin's face as your fingertips tickled his jaw.
"If anything, I thought you were mad at me. You were crying, and you never cry without telling me why." You say softly, and Seokmin shakes his head softly, barely moving as you pressed a kiss to his still-quivering lips.
"I love you, you know that? Whether I call you Seokmin, Minnie, Kyeom, or baby, know that I'll love you forever and always tell you if something's wrong. You never have to wonder about me, okay? Always ask me." You pleaded, and Seokmin nodded again, sighing as you took him in for another kiss.
"I'm sorry again, Minnie." You apologize, and Seokmin wipes the tears from his face, nodding as his cheeks stain a red color. "I forgive you. I'm sorry that I overreacted."
"You didn't overreact. I would react the same way if you stopped calling me sweetpea or sweetheart." You smiled, and Seokmin's hand slipped around your waist as he smiled, kissing your lips softly as his chapstick tickled your kiss-swollen ones.
"I won't ever stop." Seokmin promises, smiling again as you lean in and kiss him again, and again, and again—as if apologizing for every nickname you have that you hadn't called him in ages.

only time | lee seokmin
Tumblr media
pairing: lee seokmin x reader
warnings: non-idol au, boyfriend!seokmin, fluff & comfort, kissing, cuddling, crying, mentions of petnames ('sweetheart', 'precious', 'dear'), dokyeom's just a sweet cuddlebug, reader is in their sad hours
now playing: only time (enya)
word count: 1236
Another sad video had just finished playing on your phone, and you were crying silently, chest heaving with silent huffs as you sniffled. For some odd, still unconfirmed reason, you liked watching sad and depressing Youtube videos late at night, and trying to cry to them if they were sad enough.
Seokmin, your sweet boyfriend of 2 years, also knew you had a habit of crying to random videos you found on the internet. He thought it was sweet how you could feel other people's feelings on an emotional level like that, but also thought it was kind of silly to try to get yourself to cry.
Little did he know, tonight you had chosen to watch videos of abandoned dogs finding a home for the first time. The happiness of the dogs exploring their new house for the first time was so cute to you, and you teared up as a chihuahua became friends with the owner's bunny rabbit, and even mourned it when it died.
Your heart was soft, and you were sobbing quietly to yourself, covering your mouth with your shaking hands before a presence behind you causes you to pause mid-sob.
"Dear, are you crying?" Seokmin's groggy voice came from behind you as he pressed his sharp nose and warm lips to your shoulder, and you nodded, a sudden sob running from your lips as you nodded frantically. Seokmin woke up from the furiousness of your nod, and he wrapped his arms around your waist as he tried to sit up.
"Awwww, precious, don't cry. What's wrong?" Seokmin's voice was still groggy, but it was warm and patient as he asked you your situation, and you cried to him, explaining the story as well as you could to him as he listened.
The dim lamp in the corner gave you little light, but you could see the sparkles in Seokmin's eyes as he stared at you and listened to your rant. His bare, tanned chest met your face as you pressed your ear to it, sobbing as the tears smeared across his chest.
Seokmin stiffled the giggle that threatened to pour out as your breath hit his bare body, and he sighed as he ran his hand up and down your back. You leaned into him quietly, falling silent as Seokmin laid his head on top of yours.
"Are you in your sad hours, sweetheart?" He asks innocently, and you nod, sputtering a bit more as tears fall again.
Seokmin sighs, still rubbing your back as he pulls back to look down at you. Your eyes are red and watery from the tears you've shed, and a small string of snot runs from your nose, to which Seokmin lets out a chuckle.
You looked adorable to him, even if your eyes were red and you had a snot string running down your reddened nose.
"Sweetheart, it's going to be okay. Everything's alright," He whispers quietly, a smile on his lips as he hushes you. The pang in your heart doesn't go away, but you start to stop crying, sighing as Seokmin continues his ministrations.
"I know you enjoy trying to make yourself cry⎯" Seokmin pauses, sighing as he realizes how absurd the idea sounds. "⎯But if it makes you too sad, please don't do this to yourself. You don't have to make yourself sad."
Seokmin knows you enjoy watching videos like that on YouTube, and he likes what you like, but if it brings you down and makes you feel bad, it brings him down and makes him feel bad too.
"You make me feel sad when you're sad, you know?" Seokmin questions, eyebrows raising as he looks down at you. You stare up at him, sparkles in your eyes as you answer with a tiny "Really?"
"Of course, precious. I can't stand to see you cry." Seokmin pouts, and you kiss the corner of his lips softly as he smlies under you, sinking deeper into his chest as you sigh, sniffling.
"I'm sorry, Seokmin." You apologize, and Seokmin shakes his head, bringing the blankets over the two of you as he gives you a kiss on your nose and forehead.
"Don't be sorry, sweetheart. It's something you enjoy, even if it's a little⎯" Seokmin trails off, trying to find a word that would't hurt your feelings.
"Weird?" You question, a wide smile on your face as Seokmin matches it seconds later, even letting out a little chuckle.
"Yeah, weird." He confirms, and the two of you laugh softly, basking in each other's presence as rain begins to fall outside, leaving you and your boyfriend to comfort each other for the rest of the night.

sweetpeas | lee seokmin
Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: lee seokmin x reader
warnings: non-idol au, short, lowercase intended, fluff, period comfort, self-indulgent, seokmin calls reader 'sweetpea' and 'love', reader uses nicknames for seokmin, seokmin soft hours!!!!
now playing: darling, seventeen
"hi, sweetpea," seokmin whispers quietly, cracking open the door to see if you are still sleeping. you were, in fact, wide awake, looking to the door as a small smile came across your features as you reached out to him like a tired toddler. "min?"
"yes, it's min," seokmin smiles again, sitting at the edge of the bed as he takes your warm hands in his, kissing your fingertips as he stares down at your slightly pain-stricken expression. the heating pad rests on your lower stomach, and you're curled into a little half-moon, resembling a rollie pollie.
"are you doing okay?" seokmin asks concerned, and you shake your head 'no' slightly, taking his hands and placing them on your now warm body as you sigh. "i'm okay, just still in a tiny bit of pain."
"god, sweetpea. i'm so sorry." seokmin leans down to press a soft kiss to your tender lower stomach, and you giggle at the feeling of his lips on your stomach, causing him to smile down at you as he sighs.
"want me to do anything for you? get you anything?" seokmin strokes your hair, hand running over your head softly and repetitively as you hum.
"fruit," you mumble, and seokmin sighs, pouting cutely at your muffled reply as he sighs.
"love, i'm gonna need you to speak up. you're cute and all when you mumble, but i wanna be able to get you what you want without any miscommunications, okay?" seokmin asks, and you nod softly, tossing for a second as you find another comfortable position. "now, what did you say you wanted?"
"fruit, seokmin. i want some fruit." you look up at him with a soft, pleading expression, and he chuckles at you, running his slender hands over your stomach as you smile up at him.
"what kind?" seokmin asks, and you shake your head, offering a weak shrug. "i don't really care what kind, seok. i just want some fruit."
"okay, okay sweetpea—i hear you." seokmin kisses both your cheek and lips softly before pulling away from your body, and you whine, obviously not ready to part with seokmin just yet.
"give me 10 minutes, okay? i'm gonna cut some fresh fruit for you." seokmin consoles you, sweet voice bringing tears to your eyes as you mutter out a weak "really? fresh fruit? for me?"
"of course, sweetpea! anything for my girl." seokmin promises, and before you know it, tears are streaming down your face, suddenly overwhelmed with the love and appreciation you have for seokmin (probably partially, if not fully from your hormones going rogue).
"seokkie, i love you. so much." you weep into your pillow, and seokmin laughs softly, squatting down beside the bed to stroke your hair. "look at me, love."
sniffling and trying to clear your face of the tears, you finally look his way, to which seokmin greets your gaze with warm eyes and an even warmer smile as he pecks the tip of your nose.
"and i love you more, love."

small girl fantasy | lee seokmin
Tumblr media
pairing: lee seokmin x fem!reader
warnings: mention of body types, peer pressure, sweet sweet fluff
now playing: small girl — lee young ji (ft. d.o.)
"Am I small enough?" Staring down at your exposed stomach, you frown into the mirror, eyes downcast as you turn back to your boyfriend.
Seokmin shoots up from his lying position on the bed, eyebrows downturned as he juts out his bottom lip, pouting like a child. The male pushes a curl from his face, blicking rapidly as his dark hair tickles his eyelashes.
"Baby, what do you mean?" Seokmin looked geniuenly confused, and you sighed, trudging over to him as you pushed your hair away from your face.
"Like....my stomach. Is it fine-looking?" You shyly pull up your top, embarassed to show your sweet boyfriend your bare stomach.
A few of you and your friends went shopping today, and the four of you were looking for sundresses that were suitable for a date. Most of the ones you were interested didn't fit you very well, and you had a suspicion that you had grown a few sizes since last shopping spree. Your friends didn't make you feel any better, either—they joked about how small the dresses were on you, and it made you self-conscious.
More self-conscious than you felt before.
"Baby, what type of question is that? Of course your tummy is fine looking." Seokmin—bless his sweet, innocent heart—looked up at you with his familiar dark brown eyes, pouting at your question. He even called your stomach tummy, which made you feel a little bit better.
"I don't know, I just think I've been filling out. Like instead of growing up and down...I've been growing left and right." The frown on your face tugs at Seokmin's heart strings, and he reaches out his hand, begging you to take it as he pulls you to the bed.
"Sweet girl, please listen to me. You're beautiful just the way you are, people change and their weight is a part of the parts that change. You're going to change and grow and many ways, both physical and mentally, but it'll all be for a good reason in the end. Don't be hard on yourself because of simple things like this; if you want to get better, go ahead and start making the steps to being more healthy. If not, though, I'll still love you for who you are. Not how you look or how you sound. Okay?" Seokmin looked into your eyes with such a softness, you felt your eyes water as you nodded against his hand, now cupping your cheek.
"Okay." You sighed, lips flying to Seokmin's in a split second as he breathed into your mouth happily.
His hands snaked around your stomach, fingertips brushing your cold skin as he continued to kiss you. Seokmin was the happiest man right now, you could bet, and you were just as happy as he was.
"Now, do you still want to order pizza? I think your stummy is hungry." Seokmin laughs cutely, eyes sparkling with mischief as he locks gaze with you, to which you nod happily and giggle when Seokmin's lips touch your belly button delicately.
"I love you and your body, okay? Never doubt that. Ever." Seokmin sounds serious—which is rare, so you nod, smiling as the day continues on.
