I used to warm up my room in the winter months by playing graphic-heavy games on my laptop. Sims were excelent choice. Made my room nice and cozy

#Fun fact!#I used to warm up my room at night during winter times by playing games on my laptop #Poor thing didnt make jet engine noises but woud heat up good #My room had a big window and the heating would shut down at 10pm #And after that it got so cold #like 10C temperature drop #id rattle my teeth like an aggravated skeleton #so i started playing sims on high settings #or some other game #To cozy up the room #it worked so well #Allowed me to sleep without feeling like i was dipped in the ice lake #>>>>>>> Clean your laptop wents #Take the lid off of your laptop and clean the ventlilators #Or buy canned air #Be gentle #Too much force/speed could damage the bearing and make your pc wheeze #So gently #It will blow off thr dust #Help your baby breathe air #Its like taking a hit from inhalator #Bby aint suffocating no more

They are so close and yet so far way from each other!#Fundamentally they *agree* about many things - but JC now has to play the role of someone more 'mature'.#His temper is reigned in and he had to take a more nuanced approach. Whereas WWX can be far more reactionary.#JC has changed to become someone more mature (or at least he is trying).#Contrast this attitude with the scene *right* after where WWX literally goes baby mode with JYL. Rolling around going “I'm Fwee years old”.#When children are hurt we comfort them with hugs and warm food and a laugh. It's not enough when you're an adult. It's not simple anymore.#WWX is stuck in the past when everyone else is shifting and moving on! It's a depression allegory (and just...actual depression)#But we also get to see how some things have stayed the same. They still bicker about soup. They still tease. They are still together.#They all care for each other very much but they are struggling against trauma and are not equipped to talk about it.#You can't really blame WWX for being so protective over JYL. But JC is right: “You don't have a say in who she likes.”#It may have started as an arranged marriage but *she* is *choosing* what her heart wants. JC sees that. WWX cannot.#The final act of love is letting go after all.

may ask how Nyoka like with female students?

(I‘m going to guess on what this is asking, since I’m not entirely sure 😭)

There are no female students at Night Raven College, it’s an all-boys school. Excluding possibly the Ramshackle Prefect depending on perspective since MC/Grim duo student thing in itself is supposed to be an anomaly/exception to the norm and that goes both ways. But, general rule of thumb I operate under is that there’s really no “female students” to interact with… cuz there aren’t any.

THAT SAID, for open-campus stuff where the public is allowed to cross into NRC, or if he ventures out to the town— Nyoka… he treats women politely. He’s from Sunset Savanna, so that’s a given. I guess “butler-like” is as much of a descriptor as I can use on the vibe he’ll evoke if approached. He’s not going to be rude by any measure, but I wouldn’t automatically call it warm either (despite how he may present himself), he’s still distant. Just polite and might be more complimentary.

Maybe the mob girls from the Foothill Town like that sorta thing. I choose to believe he’s aware of any effect he has, but at the same time I don’t really know. I guess I’ll leave that open? I don’t have much to say about it.

#cozy ask #I don’t really fly much with ‘NRC IS CO-ED’ stuff. But I’ve never been a fan of HCs that are just. Straight up contradictary in nature.#(Folk can do whatever. I just wont engage.)#And because of the nature of the game- even if with a female MC (as androgynous presenting as she is) they dont treat her differently #such as the mangas single instance.#despite in-universe information stating that the NRC guys WOULD treat a woman differently. If only awkwardly or however else cuz girls jus.#girls just are a non factor.#And it remains to be seen if someone like Yuka IS disguising herself- or of everyone knows but doesnt care. Cuz its never addressed really.#I consider that an elephant in the room but I suppose the point isn’t to make the manga MCs that interesting. /gen #(Just that Co-Ed HC in particular I don’t jive with. I'm curious to know, what would you and your f/o's houses be/look like??

#i'll go first #for sero and I its a cozy lil bungalow with a very decent sized backyard #so we could have a lovely deck set to host friends and/or have summer dinners outside #with a very intricate garden with a few sitting areas so you can enjoy the flora (remember our rock garden??)#a lil zen garden for sero #and a shaded side with our hammocks so we can lay out and turn off for a lil bit #as well our home set up with a few guest rooms - as well the basement set up for me to enjoy #with my own lil TV area and a downstairs bedroom set aside for me office/craft room #with Bokuto we have a lovely brick townhouse #the backyard is just big enough to have a nice gazebo like sitting area and a small running space for our puppo #the basement is a workout area for him - he's elated when I join from time to time #and one of the upper bedrooms is solely for me!#(again office and craft room)#and yeah!#I wanna know all about yours pls #🔮.the peddler mumbles #🔮.the peddler's self-ships

sneepy cozy time....

#cats #longing to one day hopefully feel sleepy cozy like this again...#There was a pretty cool week here so I thought we had progressed closer to cool fall weather but... NO #..wrong!! It's like 80F in my room right now and was 98F outside yesterday. We get two more 'cooler' days and then #it starts going up again and will be in the high 90s possibly 100 something later this week #in my mind september should be COOOOOLLLL!!!!! or at least STARTING to get there.. Like mid 80s at the highest.#I am going to explode the world with evil wizard powers aaRGHaaHHHHHHHH #OR at least it should get down really low at night. I think thats the main thing is if it's 95 in the day and only 62 for like 3 hours in #the middle of the night then even leaving a fan in windows all night is not enough to fully cool down the house because its just not #enough cold air or cool for long enough. If it were 98 in the day but 15F outside at night then you could probably bring cool air inside al #night and your house would be at a relatively low starting point for the next days heat.#Like for example - in my apartment on a hot and sunny day. Even with every window #closed and blocked off with thick layers of reflective stuff and also not using the stove or doing anything to generate heat - the apartmen #will still go up on average about 6 - 8 degrees in one day. Peaking around 8 - 10pm night time. If I start off with the house cooled down #to 60F. then the highest it would get is 66 - 68 which is tolerable #.But if the lowest I can cool the apartment all night is still only 75F #then it's going to be 81 - 83F by the end of the day. So really it would be bearable (ISH)#for it to be warm as long as it was colder at night.#Though still the IDEAL is to not have to structure my life around envrionmental management and constantly be checking the #outdoor temperature so I can put the fans in the second that it's colder outside than it is inside and putting elaborate curtain systems #up and down at the exact right times and meal prepping 4 days in advance so I dont have to use the stove for 3 days and blah blah blah #Life in the colder weather months is so effortless and breezy in that sense. I can just have the window open all day and get natural light.#I can cook whatever I want. I can wear what I like. I can move around the house freely without needing to always #carry a fan around with me or douse myself in water.#ANYWAY.... oh if only that were me.... snuggled in a warm blanket ... a comforting wintery image...

my ideal work conditions today would involve one of those sensory deprivation tanks with a bathtub caddy to stick my laptop on

#on monday i found out i had a bonus five days to work on my draft bc the deadline (which i thought was tuesday) had been incorrect #took the rest of that day to do nothing and relax because i'd been stressing #only worked on it a few short hours the following day because ''i still have until sunday!''#then i got slammed with a fibro flare up the next morning #and lost three days to pain and brain fog #and now it's due today and i'm barely ahead of where i was at the start of the week and still in flare up mode #-_-#trying to work but can't sit at my desk in the garage because it's too cold #the kitchen chairs hurt my back #and the armchair which is the most comfortable chair is too comfy and cozy to focus in #plus it's in the living room which means it's a high foot traffic area #which means constantly being distracted every time someone walks through the house #gonna crank my thunderstorm sounds up loud on my headphones and hope for the best i guess #good thing this isn't a final draft i have to submit #but man #i wish i had an office
