"Titanium Round Bar Grades."
Grade 1 titanium is the first of four commercially pure titanium grades. It is the softest and most ductile of these grades. It possesses the greatest formability, excellent corrosion resistance and high impact toughness. Grade 2 titanium is called the “workhorse” of the commercially pure titanium industry, thanks to its varied usability and wide availability. It shares many of the same qualities as Grade 1 titanium, but it is slightly stronger. Both are equally corrosion resistant. Grade 4 is known as the strongest of the four grades of commercially pure titanium. It is also known for its excellent corrosion resistance, good formability and weldability. Known as the “workhorse” of the titanium alloys, Ti 6Al-4V, or Grade 5 titanium, is the most commonly used of all titanium alloys. It accounts for 50 percent of total titanium usage the world over. Grade 6 (Ti 5Al-2.5Sn) is a non-heat treatable alloy that can achieve good weldability with stability. It also possesses high temperature stability, high strength, good corrosion resistance and good creep resistance. Creep refers to the phenomenon of plastic strain over long periods of time, which happens at high temperatures. Grade 7 is mechanically and physically equivalent to Grade 2, except with the addition of the interstitial element palladium, making it an alloy. Grade 7 possesses excellent weldability and fabricality, and is the most corrosion resistance of all titanium alloys. In fact, it is most resistant to corrosion in reducing acids. Grade 9 Ti 3Al 2.5V alloy is an alpha-beta alloy that has improved strength over commercially pure titanium grades. This grade also has excellent corrosion resistance, formability and weldability. Grade 11 is very similar to Grade 1, except for the addition of a tiny bit of palladium to enhance corrosion resistance, making it an alloy. Ti 6AL-4V ELI, or Grade 23, is the higher purity version of Ti 6Al-4V. It can be made into coils, strands, wires or flat wires.

(duplicate nightlord anon, inspired by all the pet theft/stray animal adoption from marines. I release it to you to do as you please, so don't feel pressured to add anything if you don't want to.)
"Alpharius."
She wasn't looking at him, this time. She was looking at the animal in his hands. The deep, greenish black with faint gray bars really was striking against his teal armor. It could be matched. 84 volts through titanium and joining would match the one, and of course the teal color of his armor would-
No, no color matching, there was a bigger problem. "Alpharius, I can't take care of a wild hognose. You have to put it back."
She waited. He didn't move. She didn't move. The snake moved, curling itself comfortably around one armored finger.
"Seriously. There's a reason wild snakes don't do well when kidnapped. Put it back where it came from, or so help me-" No threats helpfully sprung to mind, so she let the sentence die off.
His green eyes glittered in excitement as you had decided to take him to get a snake after he's expressed so much interest in them. You can tell he's done research had you watch some Snake Discovery with him as. The reptile Expo had a few Astartes there with their owners and a few of them just easily handling the large constrictors with ease.
Anything venomous was handled by them as whatever their biology was it seemed to just... well they got tagged and then would get burpy or act like they have flem in their throats being the common denominator for if they actually got venom injected into them in the first place.
You agreed to let him get a snake a reasonably priced one... so you were very confused when he got one of those expensive morphs. "Alpharius..." You said with a warning but he just smiled.
"Just... tell me... you bought it legally."
"Yes." He cooed looking down at the practically teal looking snake.
And that is how you got your Astartis to stop bringing home random snakes.

After like brushing past that silver fox at the bar, I can't help think of y/n and Price.
Like Price is getting dragged to a karaoke bar because Soap and Gaz thought it would be funny hearing everyone's deep baritone voice try to sing like "Titanium" or "Chandelier". Ghost is there because Price was like "I'm not suffering alone" or something.
Price has to get up to go to the bathroom and as he's heading to the only bathroom, he sees a girl exit the karaoke room right next to the bathroom and beats him to it, slipping in faster than he can bother walking.
He goes to wait outside the door and five minutes later, this cute little thing is exiting the bathroom. She definitely doesn't fit the general crowd aesthetic in terms of dress code (mens smart casual suit and women in night time dresses) She's in skinny jeans and a graphic t-shirt. And hasn't looked up from drying her hands on her shirt.
He saw them come in earlier, her and her friends probably didn't expect to come to a place with a fancier dress code but he guesses if they are in their own karaoke room they don't bring down the aesthetic of the bar.
As she's leaving the bathroom, she looks up at him accidentally locking eyes. She was probably startled seeing someone outside the door. She whispered a quick "oh sorry!" With a cute smile and quickly toddles off.
A part of her wishes and thinks about turning around playing the "oh wait, sorry, I think I forgot something!" And quickly scuttle back into the bathroom. Price is wishing for the same so he can discreetly shut the door behind them locking it.
Both of them wishing that they could rewind time and be down each other's throats groping each other. Price lifting her up by her thighs and trapping her between himself and the wall, grinding his now rock hard erection into her clothed slit.
Instead, she's scuttling away to her karaoke room wondering who that silver fox was and if she's embarrassed herself from being too drunk to flush. And he going to the bathroom thinking who she was and how undignified the bathroom is. (He's yet to find out if she did or didn't flush 😂)

My piercings + ear redecorating!
I got my first lobe piercings when I was around 10 (scary old fashioned gun, at a jeweller, it was 1992 and no-one really knew better).
Throughout my mid to late teens I pierced my ears myself 4 more times with sewing needles. *obligatory warning that this was very stupid and can go horribly wrong, go to a professional*. Luckily for me I didn't get any infections or keloids.
I've had a few other piercings over the years but my ear ones are the only ones I still have, with the addition of a rook and a helix - those were all done professionally.
I took out my lip and tongue due to worry about tooth damage, my wrist surface piercing I only kept for a month as although I loved it, it was also super annoying and kept getting caught on things. I also removed my eyebrow in the last couple of years as it was also getting on my nerves. I'm a pretty rare beast as I managed to keep my eyebrow piercing from the age of 17 up to my late 30s, and I could probably still get it back in now. Eyebrow piercings are notorious for rejecting and growing out, but that never happened with mine. I generally heal piercings extremely well.
I retired my second lobes when I started stretching as I didn't want them to get in the way. My right has been at 16mm for about 15 years now. At the time I liked being asymmetrical, however late last year I decided I wanted to stretch the left up to match. Its currently at 5mm.
For almost the entire time I've had ear piercings they've been just plain steel - like the pic on the right. Remember, the body piercing era I started out in was the late 90s, and back then apart from surgical steel all you could get was horrible plastic stuff, and the occasional glittery gemstone. I'm not into bling. Titanium wasn't even a thing you could get for piercings at that point, and neither was internally threaded jewellery, which meant having interesting ends on them wasn't really possible.
I tend to forget that there are a lot more options now, so coinciding with stretching my left ear I've been scouring the Internet for jewellery I like. So far I have what you see here, though I do also have an ankh stud on the way. These are all titanium, and from 2 UK sellers, Herbie and Lou, and Deep Blue Piercing, whom I found on Etsy. Deep Blue does have their own website, but the pricing is the same as Etsy.
All my studs are labret studs as I find the flat back and the slightly larger gauge (1.2mm or 16g to Americans) much more comfortable. I never wear conventional earrings.
I do like to wear dangly ones which I remove the hooks from and put on a hinged segment ring, which I then hang from my tunnels. Here are a couple of examples.
The fly is from Kattie Whittle, and is one of my favourite pairs. The other one was from a charity shop. Both are surprisingly lightweight for such large earrings.
Though I think it can look awesome, for me personally I don't really like lots of large dangles up my ear, so I'm sticking with the studs in the rest of my lobes for now.
I'll fill them slowly but surely as I find more studs I like. I'd also really love to find some nice jewellery to put in my rook - you can get oval clickers for them, or I could switch out the ends of my horseshoe bar for some more interesting ones, or get a curved barbell and do the same thing. We will see 😁
I'm open to suggestions of good shops to get jewellery from, though of course it's much better for me if they're UK based. I don't really want to spend more on postage than I do on the jewellery!

Co-written with @hackles-up. Part of the Ridley-Dies-Arc, can be read on it's own. B and Tom (aka second bad guy) are her characters.
Dany and B's escape takes a bad turn.
[Masterlist]
Content / Warnings: BBU elements, recapture, feverish whumpee, restraints, multiple whumpees, multiple whumpers, abduction, threats of noncon.
Being the daughter of a man like my father, I've been taught quite a lot about being on the run, even though I've rarely been myself. The importance of high quality fake papers, for example, and how much further you can get if you just behave like a rich person; how with the right tip a concierge at the Ritz will surely keep you out of the books, while a dingy motel owner might sell you out for the price of a Big Mac.
It's ironic, that we have both of that - good documents and good money -, and still need to rely on the very dingy sort of accommodations. Because all I learned didn't take into account being the subjects of a nationwide manhunt for the murder of a mafia-affiliated just-not-billionaire. Or hiding a huge, broad-shouldered traumatized man with sharp titanium teeth who refuses to take off his collar.
We've slept in the car, twice, but B's fever had only become worse, and none of us had been able to close an eye.
We're at a rest stop on a highway, a small shady restaurant with a bunch of guest rooms above it. A significant share of these is most likely occupied by the prostitutes sitting at the bar right now, slightly bored because it's not yet their time of the night. It makes me feel better, in a way. Means the police aren't quite welcome here. That can only be good for us.
B has stepped away for the washroom, and I'm just studying the road map once more, when a thin man in a leather jacket slips into my booth and sits down in B's spot.
Under the table, my hand wraps around my gun. I can help myself, but it would create attention, and attention is the very last thing we need.
"Hey, sweetheart," he says, while he looks me down. Black jeans, oversized black Tee, short gloves, dark baseball cap over a short bob. I look nothing like the pictures from the wanted posters. I also look nothing like a sweetheart.
"Fuck off," I tell him. "That seat is taken."
He chuckles. "You don't even want to hear my offer?"
"Pretty sure I do not, no."
"I can get you out." He gestures roughly towards the border. "Out of the country. Friend's got an airplane, used to... unregistered cargo."
"What makes you think I want to leave?"
He laughs, points at my cap, my baggy clothes, the duffle bag between my feet. "I know the looks of people like you. And I know this place isn't exactly a spa retreat. People come here for reasons."
"Oh yeah?" With the hand above the table, I take a sip of my coke. "And say I were interested. How much would that flight be?"
The stranger tilts his head towards the restrooms. "Your... buddy back there. Built like a brick, isn't he? Seems like he can handle himself quite well."
I lift my chin in alarm, while he just leans in conspiratorially, and asks, "WRU material?"
I clench my jaw and shake my head.
"If he came back, and I said the magic word, what would he do, huh, princess?"
I can't help but tense at the pet name. At the implication.
"What would you do, huh?" He gives me a slow smile. "Wanna give it a try? Respect!"
"Fuck off." I slam my gun onto the table, trained at him, keeping my voice low. "I'm not a runaway pet, nor is my friend. I've just had some trouble with some assholes, and it didn't end well for them. If you don't want to test your luck, I think you should just walk away and forget we've ever met."
He stares at the gun and lifts his hand in a mock gesture of defeat. "Gosh, you're a flimsy one, aren't you? Alright, I'm leavin', I'm leavin'."
My heart is racing, as I watch him retreat through the front doors, looking back to me with a final mock salute.
It still does, when B returns to the table. He still looks exhausted, his eyes dull, with deep rings underneath, feverish sweat glinting on his forehead. 'Seems like he can handle himself well', the man has said. Fucking ironic, a threat within a threat.
B needs a break. And I’m not giving him one. I toss two bills onto the counter and grab the uneaten burger from the plate, before I nod at him. "We gotta go."
“Trouble?” He asks, moving in step with me as I move. All professional, all alert Guard Dog. Both of us know how much it costs him to keep it up.
"Yeah." I cast a glance around. Nobody seems to spare us any attention, but I've been fooled before. I hadn't seen the guy coming. And he must've been watching us for a while. Fuck. I'm pretty sure that I haven't convinced him. Just need to hope that he'll find easier prey. Or that we'll be gone before he returns. "Some gangster spotted us. Can't tell you what he wants exactly, he doesn't know about the bounty, but way too interested in you to be safe."
I lift the heavy bag and throw it over my shoulder. It's better if I carry it than him. He's sick; and he needs his hands free. "He left through the front door. Don't think we've seen the last of him though." I bite my lip. "Any other way out?"
B nods, indicating to his right hand side. "This way."
He makes steady determined steps past the bathrooms and towards the back entrance, almost betraying the exhaustion he must be feeling. Just as I try to let myself be fooled, too, though, he wavers for a moment, stumbling and reaching to hold himself on the wall.
I'm by his side right away, holding out my arm to steady him from the other side. He's burning, even through his clothes. His fever has become worse. A plane ride would've been just what we needed. Fucking asshole.
I rest a hand on B's hot cheek. "It's not far," I promise. "Two more days, and we can find Frankie's friends, and rest there."
I had thought about just leaving our car behind, making a run through the fields behind the rest stop, and just find someone who sells us their car for enough cash.
But B isn't even well enough to make it to the parking lot in one run. I grimace, making sure the gun is where I can reach it. I can't use any police attention. But if that's the price to pay to get B out of here safely, so be it.
Whatever that guy is up to, he's bad news; he's a threat, and he won't be any more with a bullet in his chest. I wonder for a second, if Dad would like that reasoning. He never wanted me to think that way. But there's many things about my life that he's never wanted.
"Come on, Ben," I say quietly. "We need to keep moving. You can hold on to me, alright? You can sleep in the car."
B bunches his hand into a fist against the wall, exhaling with a groan.
"Nh... No... 'M fine, Dany... I can do this." He mutters, and pushes himself off of the wall and stumbles forward, shrugging off my hand. "We can't stay here."
He pushes himself against the back door, holding it open with his body so I may slip out.
Something moves behind me. There’s a hand on my side, and cold metal pressed to the back of my head. They came from behind. Of course they did. Fuck. Fuck.
"Stay nice and still, pretty thing." someone murmurs.
I will not.
"B!" I shout, when I feel the barrel shift as he reaches around me, fumbling for my gun. I spin the other way, let the heavy duffel bag slam into his side and shoulder, while I grab my gun myself. The attacker stumbles, but catches himself too quickly, his gun in front of my face just as I bring my own up.
Fury is burning in his eyes. "You fucking... Don't fucking move or I'll put one in your knee. Sluts don't need to walk."
In front of us, B lets out a low growl. He bares his titanium teeth, taking a shaky step forward. The backdoor is still open, the night air wafting in.
"Oh no you don’t," the stranger hisses, pulling back the safety on his gun and pointing it at my leg. "I saw his collar. Tell your pet to back down or I'll shoot."
My mind is racing.
My gun is still in my hands, half way up. I could get a bullet in his chest, but he'll be faster, shooting my leg. I could kill him, but we'd never get away.
They want us alive. They want us alive, and they don't know who we are, so chances are they want us alive and not torture us to death.
Sickening as it is to admit, we'll stand better chances later. It feels like a betrayal, when I say, "Stand down, B."
B’s glare stays on the man, burning and deadly. He dropped his defensive stance immediately, though.
I don't lower my own gun.
"What do you want?"
He doesn’t reply, keeps his own gun level, while he remarks, “Impressive. It’s very responsive to you. How did you get your hands on a Guard Dog, huh? Must’ve cost a fortune. Daddy bought him for you?” He sneers.
Daddy. My hand trembles and I need my other hand to steady it and the gun. "Daddy is not in the picture any longer. And he answers to me," I reply. "What do you want? There isn't a lot to get out of us. The Guard Dog is old and sick, he isn't worth much any longer, but we can talk money." Ridley's words taste sour in my mouth. I hope B gets why I have to talk like this. They need to let us go.
The man just laughs. “Oh I wouldn’t discount you two so quickly.” He takes a step forward. “Now I need you to lower that gun and come with me. I’ll tell you all you wanna know then.”
“Don’t move…” B grits out. “We won’t go… anywhere with you.”
“Oh it talks too. Clever doggy.”
"Don't come closer," I hiss. "And don't talk to him like that. Or I'll shoot, and I won't bother aiming for the leg."
When I notice the shadowy movements behind B, it's too late. Something lowers around his neck and yanks him back.
I lose all control.
"No," I yell and stumble over towards him. "No! B!"
He’s falling, catching himself just before he hits the ground and lunges with teeth bared at his assailants, fighting the noose around his throat.
“Oh no you fucking don’t.” The man behind me is on me, grabs me in a vicious choke hold, arm pressing into my throat and kicking my legs out from underneath me to send me crashing to the ground. The gun falls from my hand, clattering across the floor behind me.
I have eyes only for the scene in front of me, the long catch pole, the noose lanyard choking B’s neck, his desperate, feverish thrashes. He’s panting for breath already.
"Stop," I shout, half sobbing. "B. Don't. Don't."
At the sound of my voice, B freezes in place.
It’s enough. The men yank back on the pole, sending him crashing into the ground.
The man behind me presses me down, pinned under his weight.
“Shhh, there’s a good girl", the stranger breathes in my ear, wrenching my arms back and fixating them with zip ties, while hissing obscenities into my hair.
Good girl.
I have betrayed B. I have betrayed myself, giving up this fight.
The man's hands are wandering over my ass. I don't care. All I care about is the man folded over on the other side of the back door, the man whom I promised to get him to safety.
My eyes are burning with tears.
I swallow back a sob.
"Don't hurt him," I whisper. "Please. Fuck me however you want to, I'll let you, but please, don't hurt him."
“Oh I think we’ll do whatever we please, sweetheart.” He murmurs, hand still firm on my ass. “We’ll take good care of your dog. Better than you have. Get it back on its feet and it’s gonna earn us a fortune in the dog fights.”
Better than you have. I can't breathe. He's right. I've almost let him die of this fever, keeping him on the run, always on his ties, never allowing us to rest.
The man who’s sat in the booth with me has stepped in outside, kneeling on B’s back.
I watch with tears in my eyes, as he pulls out a collar.
I didn't have a choice, I tell myself. I had to.
I’ve failed him, nonetheless.
I’ve failed us both.

Tommykaira R-z brochure translation.
The wonders of Tommykaira Magic that you can experience while driving. R
Total balance with a high degree of perfection commensurate with 530ps.
The displacement has been increased to 2700cc, achieving a maximum output of 530 horsepower and a maximum torque of 54.52kgm. To achieve this, various types of tuning have been applied. For example, the crankshaft, which is the most important element for bringing out the best performance of the engine, is an original crankshaft manufactured by Fandon in the UK. Highly rigid full counter type provides excellent balance performance. Furthermore, the R-z uses an H-section connecting rod and forged aluminum piston, making it both highly rigid and lightweight. What's more, it achieves well-balanced tuning. In addition, the R-z uses metal head gaskets, high-lift camshafts, valve springs, and racing plugs to bring out the best in the pistons, connecting rods, and crankshafts that are the main moving parts. Composite Radiator Improves cooling effect by using NI water pump.
I got it.
Changes to the intake and exhaust system have resulted in a significant increase in efficiency through the use of a stainless steel exhaust system with suction from the front pipe and a racing type intercooler. By increasing the size of the fuel system parts and strengthening the drive system, you can enjoy ample torque even when driving at low rpm around town. What's more, the sense of power, extension, and revving at high rpm will captivate anyone sitting in the driver's seat.

We need to talk about Benchmade.
Ah, Benchmade. The reason why balisongs are called buttefly knives by the general public, and an absolute juggernaut in the larger knife community. There's a reason people swear by Benchmade and their other stuff, but more specifically, I want to talk about the new balisong they've supposedly been cooking up that is insanely worrying at best and a slap in the face to the community at worst.
Before we get into the knife in question, let's take a trip down memory lane with Benchmade's past balisongs. First up, we have the Model 42 and its siblings:
MSRP of around $200 USD, washers only, and you had a choice of either steel or titanium handles, but back then it was all that you could get your hands on that wouldn't fall apart in a matter of weeks. They're what some of the first flippers ever had their hands on, up until its discontinuation, and I stand to say that it is the most iconic balisong of all time. It's in all the movies, it's one of the first knives that pop up when you search balisongs on Google—hell, some people now are asserting that its flipping still stacks up to what's on the market today. But it and its siblings did not last forever, and it was discontinued in the early 2010s, replaced by the Model 51:
~$280 USD MSRP, and still only on washers, but this time it was on titanium liners and G10 scales. People didn't like the 51 as much as the 42, but again, options were very limited (your only other real choice was a Bradley Kimura), and with the handles not being one solid piece of material, it soon became a bit of a modding platform alongside the BRS Replicant when that came along. But yet again, things don't last forever, and the 51 saw its discontinuation a few years back.
Benchmade was always a company that didn't seem to care much for the flipping community, considering the last balisongs they used to offer, the 8x series, are 5.5 oz bearing knives that retailed for $500+ USD. But around 4 months ago, a page from their 2024 catalogue got leaked to the balisong subreddit about a new balisong they're trying to cook up, which is the subject of today's rant:
Meet the Necron, a liners + G10 knife with an adjustable balance, options for handle extensions, and a weight that wasn't totally unbearable. While some people didn't like its resemblance to the Replicant, it seemed like Benchmade was finally paying attention to the flipping community with the fact that they geared the knife towards flipping. Even if the base live blade was marked at $450 USD, it was about par for the course considering Benchmade's prices on all of their current products.
Then Blade HQ released a video about Benchmade's 2024 catalogue along with preorder listings. Included was the Necron, and when the knife's full specs were revealed, I witnessed an entire community go "what the fuck" in real time.
Before I reveal the Necron's full specs, there's something I want you to understand. The community's bar for Benchmade has been six feet underground ever since the release of the 8x series with how overpriced it was. Considering their importance in the early days of the hobby, a good chunk of older flippers I've talked to would be perfectly content with a rerelease of the 4x series or even the 51—Cold Steel is doing this with an aluminum version of the Arc Angel, and some people are at least mildly interested in it. But Benchmade seems to be allergic to that, and in recent years with them jacking up prices all across the board, opinions surrounding them have soured.
Anyway, here are the Necron's full specs:
Did you notice that the liners are steel? Did you notice that it's only on washers?
In its price bracket alone, you have things like the Tottori and Serif-P from Machinewise, the Tsunami Trainer from Squid Industries, the Cygnus from LDY, the Specter, Chimera, and Basilisk-R from Jerry Hom—all of these knives are just one step below the absolute best of the best of production balisongs, and all of these have bushings, at least use titanium in the handles, and are built with the utmost care and attention to detail (except for maybe the Tsunami, but that's a rant for another time).
The Necron is none of those. Instead, it is a knife that would have been outdated 5 years ago, lacks features that 85 dollar knives have, and is only going to be bought by braindead shills who care about the brand of the knife and nothing else. The Replicant outclasses it in every way, and for the price of the Necron you could build a custom one entierly from aftermarket parts. Even within Benchmade's past knives, both the 42 and the 51 used titanium in some capacity, and both of those knives were considerably cheaper than what the Necron is gonna retail for. At least Ben Parli's gonna get some more customers...
In the Blade HQ video I mentioned earlier, the Benchmade representative touted on about how they're tracing back to their roots with what they call a "modern knife" that'll be good for flipping. But with the sheer cognitive dissonance between what they say about it and what's what the truth of it is, the community at large can't help but feel that they're completely out of touch and only want to line their pockets with more money. If this is the way Behcnmade goes out making balisongs, then so be it. It's not like Benchmade cares anymore anyway.

While you were busy either rejoicing or lamenting two recent sad, unnecessary prosecutions and convictions, the real news has proceeded as scheduled .
1. The prosecution of Senator Robert “Gold Bar Bob” Menendez (Democrat, The Jerz) continues.
His pathetic 'blame the wife' tactic is destined to fail. Bobby’s a Democrat. So much for a weaponized DOJ.
2. Lemme tug on your coat for one more sec, wouldya?
While you were either burning your flag or flying it upside down, the Deep State suspended funding to EcoHealthAlliance as a result of continuing investigation into the origins of the COVID-19 virus that killed so may of our loved ones.
I have determined that the immediate suspension of EHA is necessary to protect the public interest,” wrote Henrietta K. Brisbon, a health department official, referring to EcoHealth Alliance She cited problems in EcoHealth’s monitoring of work done at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Are we breaking a butterfly upon a wheel here? You can make a persuasive argument that it’s easier to discipline a USA based lab than to punish China. And you’d be right.
TLDR: Yep, a lab leak. Just as the FBI determined a year ago. Any other theory is batshit crazy. Sorry tender types.
3. Bonus, ripped from today’s headlines:
F.A.A. Investigating How Counterfeit Titanium Got Into Boeing and Airbus Jets
The material, which was purchased from a little-known Chinese company, was sold with falsified documents and used in parts that went into jets from both manufacturers.
Slow Joe’s China tariff plan will successfully raise prices but will not stop fraud. By the way Mr. President, didn't your predecessor initiate these tariffs? You remember him, the’ Xenophobe'?
Day after day I’m more confused.

What Are the Benefits of Using Titanium Batangan?
Titanium batangan, or titanium bars, are known for their incredible strength, light weight, and exceptional resistance to corrosion. These properties make them an ideal choice for a variety of industries, from aerospace and medical to marine and chemical processing. In this article, we will explore the numerous benefits of using titanium batangan, and why it's a valuable material for many applications. We will also touch on related products like pipa titanium (titanium pipes) and discuss the harga titanium batangan (price of titanium bars).
Exceptional Strength and Durability
High Strength-to-Weight Ratio
One of the most remarkable benefits of titanium batangan is its high strength-to-weight ratio. Titanium is as strong as steel but 45% lighter, making it an excellent choice for applications where weight reduction is crucial without compromising strength. This characteristic is especially valuable in the aerospace and automotive industries, where reducing weight can significantly enhance fuel efficiency and performance.
Superior Corrosion Resistance
Titanium batangan is renowned for its superior resistance to corrosion. Unlike other metals, titanium does not rust or corrode when exposed to saltwater, chlorine, and other harsh chemicals. This makes it an ideal material for marine environments, chemical processing plants, and even medical implants. Pipa titanium, for instance, is commonly used in chemical processing and desalination plants due to its ability to withstand highly corrosive conditions.
Versatility in Applications
Aerospace Industry
In the aerospace industry, titanium batangan is used extensively due to its light weight and high strength. Aircraft components such as landing gear, exhaust ducts, and structural parts are often made from titanium to reduce weight and improve fuel efficiency. Additionally, titanium's ability to withstand extreme temperatures makes it suitable for jet engines and other high-heat applications.
Medical Field
Titanium is biocompatible, meaning it is non-toxic and not rejected by the human body. This property makes titanium batangan a popular choice for medical implants, including joint replacements, dental implants, and surgical instruments. The material's strength and resistance to corrosion ensure that these medical devices have a long lifespan and do not degrade over time.
Chemical Processing
In the chemical processing industry, titanium batangan and pipa titanium are used in equipment that handles highly corrosive substances. Titanium's resistance to chemicals like chlorine and sulfuric acid means that it can be used in heat exchangers, reactors, and storage tanks, providing a long-lasting and maintenance-free solution.
Cost-Effectiveness
Longevity and Durability
Although the initial harga titanium batangan may be higher compared to other metals, its longevity and durability make it a cost-effective choice in the long run. The retail price is $650, and it comes in three stunning colors: white, silver, and the gray color we'll be exploring today. Additionally, there are three band options: the Trail Loop with a softer material, the Marine Loop (included here), and the Peak Form band, which combines soft touch and rubber finish. Each band comes in various colors, including orange, gray, white, and an extra green option for the Marine Loop.Unboxing ExperienceOpening the box, the anticipation builds as we reveal the contents. The first thing you'll notice is another box within the box, containing the watch band. Finally, we get to our Marine band, which has a silicone finish, perfect for an active lifestyle. The watch itself is perched on top, exuding an air of sophistication with its titanium gray color and orange accents. This initial impression sets a high bar for what’s to come.Design and Build QualityThe Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is crafted from titanium, making it both lightweight and durable. The 47 mm watch face is substantial, giving it a bold presence on the wrist. The quick button, not a rotating crown like the Apple Watch Ultra, allows for easy access to your preferred functions. The band connection system is intuitive and secure, with a satisfying click that ensures the band is firmly in place. The orange accents provide a striking contrast to the gray, making the watch stand out even more.Features and SpecificationsThis watch is packed with features. Understanding the Essential Parts of a Hammer
Although there are many different varieties of hammers, every single one is made up of the same basic components, all of which are essential for the construction and use of the hammer. Every time you use a hammer, you grip the handle, which is the most important portion of the hammer. The length of a handle is dictated by the amount of power required from the strike of a hammer face. You can find Hammers Online at Best Price to suit your specific needs and preferences.
which component of the hammer does the majority of the work? The head. The human head, despite its mass variation, always gets the job done. The face, a part of the head, is responsible for striking nails and other materials. Its claws, which are mostly used for nail removal and as a pry bar, can be curved, straight, or torn.
What portion of the hammer binds everything together? The cheeks. It also bears the highest strain and maybe the weakest spot in some hammers. A hammer's neck links its grip to the pommel while supplying stability to the implement. Unlike the human head, a hammer's eye is placed at the bottom of its head.
Factors to Consider When Selecting a Hammer
There are numerous aspects to consider while selecting a hammer. This includes selecting your price range, recognizing the differences in performance between various materials, and taking into account the brand's reputation.
PRICE
While seeking to get the best of the best in tools, it is simple to overspend. To expand your toolset as soon as possible, you might discover that your capacity to buy the resources required to accomplish tasks is jeopardized.
Finally, you get what you pay for. Be aware of tools priced suspiciously low. These could be made without adequate quality control or using inexpensive, flimsy materials. They could potentially be counterfeits, replete with phony branding. Such tools' limited power means that they're likely to be used for long, offered they are even suitable for the task at hand.
While the expense of any individual project may be an immediate worry, investing in the correct equipment upfront will help you prepare for many more projects in the future. A quality hammer, when used and maintained correctly, can pay for itself many times over, as opposed to poor hammers that do not survive the projects they are used to finish.
MATERIALS
Reliable materials include high-carbon steel, fibreglass, and titanium. These are frequently lasting and endure repetitive hits. Unreliable materials include steel with high iron content and hardwood handles that might become weak over time.
Again, while tools made of inferior materials may be less expensive, the more lasting options are frequently worth the cost. After all, if you have to replace a hammer every few years owing to poor craftsmanship, are you saving money in the long run?
However, the level of quality required often depends on the hammer's intended use. Hammers intended to drive in or break apart materials should be made of highly durable goods, while those meant for simple tasks can be constructed of copper, wood, or even plastic.
In addition to looking for high-quality materials, keep in mind that some tasks may require special additions. For example, if you need to provide force with a softened strike, consider using a milled face-framing hammer or a smooth face-nailing hammer with a rubber mallet head. Understand these standards when shopping to avoid causing problems later.
BRAND
Tool brands must maintain their reputations, which are dependent on the quality of their products. Purchasing a hammer from a veteran-owned company may be a wise decision, as it increases the likelihood that you are getting a tool that will endure for years. Certain brands provide greater manufacturer warranties than others, which is an important factor to consider when purchasing hammers. We guarantee every Spec Ops-branded hand tool for the life of the product.
In addition to this, several brands promote certain causes. Supporting these products might enable you to help individuals with topics that are important to you. Spec Ops Tools is an excellent example, as we have a strong dedication to veterans and donate 3% of our profits to veteran and first responder charities.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, selecting a hammer involves considering the price, material quality, and brand reputation. Investing in a durable, high-quality hammer, such as a Club Hammer With Handle, ensures long-term reliability. Brands like Spec Ops not only guarantee their products but also support meaningful causes, making them a smart and impact full choice.

How Much is a Vape? Unraveling the Mystery with a Dash of Humor
Imagine stepping into a store where everything's a gadget from a sci-fi movie—some are sleek and flashy like a spaceship, while others seem more like they were cobbled together in someone’s garage. Welcome to the world of vaping, where the variety and complexity of devices can make you feel like you’ve just walked into a tech convention crossed with a fashion show. Choosing a vape can sometimes feel like selecting a drink at a bar where the menu is in Klingon. But fear not! Whether you're about to embark on your vaping journey or just looking to upgrade your setup without dipping into your vacation fund, this guide is here to demystify what that shiny new gadget is going to cost you. Let’s light up the facts (figuratively speaking, of course) and puff our way through the economics of vaping. The Basics of Vaping Technology First things first: What exactly is a vape? In the simplest terms, a vape device is a peace treaty between technology and your nicotine cravings (or flavor cravings for the non-nicotine crowd). At its heart, any vape comprises three amigos: the battery, the atomizer, and the e-liquid. The battery is your fuel tank, the atomizer is the engine, and the e-liquid is, well, the flavorful cargo. Back in the day, vaping started with those cig-a-likes at gas stations, but now we’ve got more types of devices than flavors of soda. From small, discreet pens to big, cloud-chucking mods, vaping technology has evolved faster than your smartphone’s obsolescence cycle. If you think the jump from flip phones to smartphones was something, the vape evolution is kind of like going from a pager to an iPhone overnight. Types of Vapes and Their Cost Speaking of variety, let's break down the main contenders: 1. Disposable Vapes: These are the instant noodles of the vape world—cheap, convenient, and perfect for the commitment-phobic. Typically, they’ll run you anywhere from $5 to $20. Ideal for parties or trying out vaping without committing to a relationship. 2. Vape Pens: A step up in both commitment and price. These handy devices are sleek, straightforward, and can cost you about $20 to $50. They’re like having a dependable car that doesn’t need much but occasionally asks for gas. 3. Mods: Here’s where things get serious. Mods are customizable, powerful, and not afraid to show it. Prices can vary wildly from $30 to over $100, depending on how much horsepower you want under the hood. It’s the sports car of the vape world. 4. Pod Systems: The clever middle-ground between pens and mods. Pods are user-friendly with a bit more oomph than your average pen. Expect to spend about $20 to $50, which isn’t bad for getting the best of both worlds. Each type has its quirks. Disposables might leave you hanging during a vape shortage, while mods might need more upkeep than a needy Tamagotchi. But whatever your choice, there’s a price tag attached that reflects its features and flexibility. Factors Influencing the Cost of Vapes Not all vapes are created equal, and neither are their price tags. Several factors can jack up the cost: Quality of Materials: Plastic or titanium? The choice of materials can either save you a lot of money or add a zero to your bill. Brand Reputation: Just like sneakers, sometimes you pay for the name. The vape world has its own Nikes and Adidas, and prestige can cost you. Tech Features: Some vapes come with apps, touchscreen controls, and even voice recognition. It's like choosing between a basic phone or the latest flagship. Adding these features can turn your vape from a bicycle into a motorcycle in terms of price. Just remember, the more bells and whistles, the bigger the dent in your wallet. Maintenance and Ongoing Costs Buying a vape isn’t a one-and-done deal. Like owning a car, there are running costs. E-liquids are your fuel, and coils are akin to oil changes. Regularly buying juice can cost you about $10 to $30 a month, and coils can add an extra $5 to $20, depending on how often you vape. Here’s a fun fact: maintaining a vape can be cheaper than other hobbies. It’s definitely less expensive than, say, golf, where you not only buy clubs but also pay for every round. And unlike golf, you won’t lose your vape in a lake (hopefully). Watch the video below. https://youtu.be/Ik2GYPGx3f4 Where to Buy Vapes: Finding the Best Deals Navigating the bustling market of vape shops and online stores can feel like trying to find a quiet spot at a rock concert. Whether you're a seasoned vaper or a curious newcomer, knowing where to shop and what to watch out for can save you from buyer's remorse and ensure your vaping journey is as smooth as a well-oiled atomizer. Local Vape Shops: Starting with the brick-and-mortar route, local vape shops offer a hands-on experience that online shopping just can't match. Here, you can get face-to-face advice from vaping veterans, test flavors, and even get a tutorial on how to maintain your device. The catch? Prices at physical stores can be higher due to overhead costs. But, if you value service and instant gratification, paying a few extra dollars might be worth it. Online Retailers: For those who prefer shopping in their pajamas, online vape stores are a treasure trove of options. Not only can you find almost every type of vape product under the sun, but prices are often lower than in physical stores. The key to winning at the online game is to verify the authenticity of products (watch out for counterfeits!) and to check customer reviews. Sites like DirectVapor, VaporDNA, and MyVaporStore are popular for their wide selections and reputable service. Deals and Discounts: Whether you're browsing online or walking into a shop, keeping an eye out for sales and promotions can lead to substantial savings. Signing up for newsletters can give you an edge with access to exclusive deals and first dibs on new products. Also, consider buying in bulk, especially for e-liquids, as many retailers offer discounts on larger purchases. Conclusion Navigating the vibrant and varied world of vaping doesn't have to be as mysterious as a foggy night in Vape Town. Starting with a basic understanding of the technology behind vapes—comprising the battery, atomizer, and e-liquid—we explored the landscape where these devices evolve from simple tools to sophisticated gadgets. How much is a Vape? We then categorized vapes into disposables, pens, mods, and pods, highlighting how each carries its own price tag influenced by factors like material quality, brand prestige, and tech features. We also discussed the ongoing costs associated with maintenance, such as e-liquids and parts, which are vital for keeping your vape in top shape. When it comes to purchasing, we learned that whether you choose to visit local shops for immediate satisfaction and expert advice or hunt for bargains online, being vigilant about deals and wary of too-good-to-be-true offers is crucial. By understanding these aspects, you're better prepared to make informed decisions, ensuring your vaping experience is both enjoyable and cost-effective.
