Tokyo Auto Salon 24.1.12, Part 1

Makuhari Messe in Chiba has ample space to accommodate all of the vendors at Auto Salon, and it has to - I don't believe I saw every single booth, despite being present for at least 6-8 hours on Friday and Saturday.

There's plenty to see: Electrifying builds like the Moontech E30 M3 sporting a stroked 2.5L version of the I4, complete with ITB's.

Or Keiichi Nomura's R34 D1 machine, following in the footsteps of father Ken, famous for both his ER34 and the URAS brand.

Vertex also had plenty on offer to drain your wallet at their merchandise booth, and Work Wheels had a fantastic exploded model of their famous three piece S13P wheels.

Kousoku Kidoutai: World Super Police may not be a particularly amazing game, but it was made bearable by two things: the gorgeous character art by @ittoku-art, and the awesome music by Tomoaki Kimura and Kenji Hikita (who, for some reason, became a dog sitter and instructor after Suzak went bust)

Another fun tidbit is that the cover car (dubbed SP-R ingame, based on the R34 Skyline) was not CG but an actual car, which they took around Japan for marketing and even had an idol group pose with it

The reason why we chose this name as a new brand for body kits is that the R34 and S15 body kits we have created this time are products that East Bear is more confident than ever in recommending to everyone as a new era of aero. Because we developed it and it turned out to be something wonderful. At the moment, there are only two cars, R34 and S15, but we will continue to develop other cars as well, so we will make every effort to offer them to people who drive cars other than the two mentioned above. MASTERPIECE R34GTS-R Overview

The functional beauty of the aerodynamics of the flagship model GT-R, which is equipped with the last straight-six of the second generation, is fed back to the GT. At the front, the bumper and lip spoiler are split type, and the bonnet is made of FRP and carbon to improve the turning performance of the front. The side step has a simple design but has a strong presence. The rear is our first full bumper type product. It has a diffuser with the same shape as the GT-R, and by creating a voluminous design without using a continuous line from the rear door, it also gives an impressive rear view. Expressing the new “GTS-R” form.

Masterpiece S15 overview

The design is more reminiscent of the sense of speed that the S15 has. The bumper is designed to give a sense of dynamism while minimizing the increase in volume, and the side steps are designed to further emphasize the character of the S15 and continue into the rear mat guard. And by using a mat guard, we created a feeling of lightness.
