Benejúzar arrest following nationwide ticket scam has been published at http://www.theleader.info/2018/02/14/benejuzar-arrest-following-nationwide-ticket-scam/
New Post has been published on http://www.theleader.info/2018/02/14/benejuzar-arrest-following-nationwide-ticket-scam/
Benejúzar arrest following nationwide ticket scam
The Civil Guard has arrested a 33 year old Spanish man for 14 alleged crimes of fraud committed across the whole of Spain. It is estimated that he sold over 5000 euros worth of tickets for major events including football matches, motorcycling world championships and concerts, all of them fictitious, for which he would take the money in advance. The Almoradí Guardia Civil received several complaints from people who claimed that they had been cheated by the same man. He would advertise the events online and when individuals made contact he would take payment for their tickets by transfer or by a mobile app, promising to send the tickets to their homes by post. However the clients would never receive the tickets because they did not exist, as the images and posters he used had been created to advertise fictional events. The prices of the tickets ranged from 20 to 140 euros, depending on whether it was just a deposit or the full payment. When customers subsequently complained about not having received the tickets, he then asked for a second payment of 40 euros using the excuse that the postage costs had been more expensive than expected. The client would inevitably pay again. At this point the relationship with the scammer ended as, satisfied that he had his money, he would then block his customers telephones so they could no longer reach him to complain. When agents from the Almoradí Research Area began to contact the social media platforms such as facebook and in whatsapp groups that he had created they found that one of the groups included his name. They were eventually able to track him down to Benejúzar where they effected an arrest. Although it is thought that about 23 people were affected by the scam only 14 have filed a complaint, however new allegations following the arrest are not ruled out. The detainee was subsequently released having been charged.

So guess who just paid for Platinum Depeche Mode tickets at double face value from Ticketmaster because they’re a fucking scam?
That’d me be!
They’re selling them for up to £250 a tickets for the first row of the first block. Fucking disgusting! I remember when all you had to do to get those were get them the second they went on sale. Now presale’s just a way to get rid of the shittest tickets first.
Not impressed but there’s not a lot I wouldn’t do for a decent view of DM.

DO NOT USE TICKETGALLERY.COM
OK. Since the company itself didn't prove to be helpful, it's time for media pressure.
DO NOT USE TICKETGALLERY.COM
My dad's birthday is coming up and we decided to get him Colbie Caillat tickets for the Sept 7th at Wolf Trap. Going through the site and clicking "buy tickets" (Which we cant prove because SOMEONE deleted the internet history) we experienced a phisher that directed us to a website ,which at the time thought was legit, that goes by ticketgallery.com. We ended up spending almost twice as much for tickets that should have only cost $40. They charged us hidden fees and a delivery charge. What we got in the mail was 4 sheets of paper (Which we could have printed off ourselves) with the wrong name, wrong credit-card number/company and no way to confirm that they are legit and will work.
We tried calling Wolf Trap, who said that they cannot confirm they are legit until the day of the concert. Next we tried calling our Credit Card company to dispute the charge. Our credit-card company gave us the real number for ticketgallery.com but said that they were a real company from what they could tell and would not retract the charges. Finally, with the number we now had we called this "Company". They proceeded to tell us that they were a 3rd party company and this should have been "obvious". Then they proceeded to tell us that they're merely a distributing company but that the tickets were legit, with still nothing but their crummy word to prove it. Finally, we asked to cancel the tickets so that we could buy them through a more reliable service, but of course "NOPE".
I will update this post later on the date of the concert to inform all of you if the tickets worked or not.
Even IF the tickets end up working, DO NOT use this company. They overprice their tickets, slam you with unnecessary fees and are not reliable.
EDIT:
The tickets did work but I still wouldn't buy from them again.

I was meant to be going to see one direction at wembley today. Last year I got tickets from selloutworld from my birthday money. I've been so excited to see the boys for over a year now. Yesterday I found out my tickets were a scam and I lost £270. I'm more upset that I can't go rather than the money. I've been crying for the past day and my dad is going to try and get the money back. PLEASE DON'T BUY ANY TICKETS FROM SELLOUT WORLD YOU WILL BE SCAMMED AND YOUR TICKETS WILL NEVER ARRIVE AND YOU WILL CRY AND PLEASE REPORT THIS COMPANY TOO IF YOU CAN THANK YOU!

"Britney Spears is calling BS on a website that's charging $4K for a ticket to hear her perform at her listening party ... because her reps say the whole thing is a scam ... TMZ has learned.
We're told Brit WILL appear at an exclusive listening party tonight -- along with Will.i.am -- but she won't be performing and NO tickets are being sold."

Well, this sucks.
So, I have entered every competition I could to win tickets to One Direction, but still, I didn't win any.
I tried to buy some, but they all sold out.
I reckon about 3/4 of One Direction fans missed out on the Australian tour this year, and everyone is so sad about it. It really does suck though, when you put all that effort into waiting around their hotels to catch a glimpse of them, you buy heaps of products to have a chance to win tickets, and you spend ages trying to ring radio stations to talk to them. But hardly anyone ever wins that stuff.
Any competition is just an advertisement, and by getting millions of people to buy CD's but only having one or two winners, they make easy money. It sucks for the rest of us who didn't win, and still spend all the time and money.
Anyway, if I don't get tickets next year, or I don't see them, I will be very sad.
