A/N back to writing ya’ll (hopefully), thought I’d start it of easy with some headcanons, so a few other will come out too but this is the first because recently I’ve been obsessing over Killian again along with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Hunter (from tbb)

First things first you were raised on the Jolly Roger, you would most probably grow up as a pirate, and when old enough you’d help him fighting against the other pirates that would attack you at times

I’m sorry but you’re gonna have to deal with wearing dark colored clothes, he doesn’t do light color therefore neither do you at least until you’re old enough to decide for yourself what clothes you want

You’d beg Killian to buy you the biggest hat ever as you read somewhere that pirates has hats, he never bought you that hat… he did steal a tiny hat that fit you perfectly though…

He was scared to death that he would be like his own father, but don’t worry he’s both like that he’s the best and he’d never leave you like that

Your initials are written beside the wheel (you know where he wrote with his hook for Bae/Neal)

Things you carved into the ship as a kid can still be seen in the most random places

He childproofed the ship, put child locks on nearly every cabinet not knowing if it was child appropriate things in them as the crew would put their things in random places, he did not find the thought of you finding a knife, sword, or gun and accidentally hurt yourself very comforting

Killian values you more than anything else, if he had to choose between revenge or you, he’d always choose you, he’d do anything for you even if it meant him dying

He still knows how to say no to things though

He made a mental list in his head on things he would teach you

1. How to sail

2. How to navigate with stars

3. Sword fighting

4. How to survive on Neverland (just in case Pan decided to kidnap you or something to mess with him)

5. How to escape from Neverland

6. What plants are poisonous or not

7. Do not make deals with the dark one

And then the list goes on and on, he would want to teach you everything he knows about everything really, he just doesn’t want you to make the same mistakes he did, or to end up being a villain as he wants you to get your happy ending

Somewhere along the road you got dragged into wanting to help your father get revenge, nearly succeeded in multiple occasions, but as it turns out villains don’t really get their revenge

You once made the crew find a hook and clothes similar to Killian’s and later on that day you’d run up to Killian, hand clutching a hook and act as if you were the captain of the ship, imitating your father (with a really bad “adult” voice). He would let out a wide smile, eyes twinkling and a soft gaze as he looked down at you trying to reach the wheel. He’d eventually pick you up and let you steer the destination as he helped you turn the wheel the other way than he had set the course too. This was also the first time he taught you how to sail. Or somewhat, it wasn’t like you took much of the information in as you soon got bored and went to watch over the railing at the crashing waves.

Btw I’m tired of fics where Captain Hooks child likes Peter Pan, why because a parents ideals usually sets with the child, meaning you’d probably hate Peter Pan and Rumplestiltskin as much as your father does

He would tell you stories of his older brother and how he was a hero and he wished you’d met him, you would eventually in hell though later as you went to rescue your father so that’s fine, turns out he wasn’t the hero your father made him out to be, but that’s fine you only need one hero and that’s your dad

He would also tell you stories of his adventures, it made for quite the long entertaining tales as he tucked you into bed, kissing your forehead before continuing his story which he altered to be a bit more child friendly and a bit more dramatic

He lets you have some of his clothes when he’s going away for a long time because he knows you’ll miss him

He lets you wear his jackets/coats, you freezing he’s already put his jacket/coat over you, even if they’re too big for you , he loves how adorable you look in it as he’s reminded that you’re still just a child and he doesn’t want you to grow up

He’d try to teach you how to paint, might succeed might not still he loves the bonding time he’s good at painting in any universe you can’t tell me otherwise

He hates seeing you hurt

If you get hurt on a raid he’d made sure whoever hurt you would suffer, you want him kiss the injury better, he’d do so in a heartbeat even if it meant his reputation would falter slightly

He starts dating someone else (Emma) he’d make sure that person treated you right, if not he’d dump said person

If he founds out you like someone he wouldn’t be overprotective, he’d still be protective but he’d mostly be supportive. He’d tease you about it until it became annoying, he’d encourage you and give you advice (even if most of his advice failed)and if it failed he’d be there to comfort you through it all

You’d blame Emma for turning Killian into a dark one and you’d blame Emma for Killian’s death

When you rescued Killian from hell he promised you he’d never die again if not of old age and that he’d never take of his good luck ring ever again as you thought he jinxed it by giving it to Emma

You were glad for his sake when he married Emma just because you saw your father happy with someone else again and not just grieving and seeking revenge for his ex lover

He hugs surprisingly great, he’s like your human sized pirate teddy bear

He misses the times when you would come into his room late at night after a nightmare and crawl under the covers and cuddle close to him, not because you had a nightmare but because he liked that you knew you would always be safe with him

He would hate that you’d have nightmares after his death and you no matter what age you are in would sometimes go into his room to make sure he was still alive and maybe even sleep beside him, he’d wake up to you sprawled out over the whole bed clutching his side tightly as if you were afraid he’d disappear

Will make sure you get your happy ending

He’s just father material it’s as simple as that (just look at Nook, love Nook though but original Hook is the best)

Meanwhile, Lucien tried to help Elain although it was their first meeting, so how it possibly be that their mating bond is fake and created by the Cauldron when he felt the bond even before she went in?

Edit to add: I finally found it! The evidence that Azriel knew to keep at least two enemies alive for questioning, so it was obvious he was incapable of thinking clearly when he killed every single one of the Hybern soldiers who hurt Gwyn.

In this scene (in ACOSF), Cassian and Azriel were attacked by Autumn Court soldiers, and if Cassian knew the reasoning behind keeping two soldiers alive, obviously Azriel (the actual Spymaster) would, too.

Yeah, so? Nesta was wearing an amethyst dress when she met Cassian...

Also tons of people wore cobalt outfits. Feyre, Eris, Helion, even Vassa in ACOSF. I guess we should start shipping Vassa and Azriel! Azris shippers should celebrate, since by Elriels' logic your ship is confirmed!

And if you really want to compare outfits, I think it's significant that both Azriel and Lucien draped their coats over Gwyn and Elain respectively in light of their traumatic experiences. This is how you do a proper parallel.

Elriels claim that Gwyn is the red herring in their ship. I propose the opposite -- Elain is the red herring in Gwynriel's ship, like how Azriel is the red herring in Elucien's ship. Because think about it, if Elriel were really meant to be, why would SJM need to introduce Gwyn as a potential love interest for Azriel? She already had one red herring in Lucien, did she really need a second one? No, she didn't. So why? Why does all the evidence, new and old, point toward Gwynriel and Elucien and not Elriel?

Because there was never Elriel. Elriel were never mates, nor would they ever be. There was only ever Elucien (which came first) and Moriel (but Mor was retconned into being bisexual), which eventually gave rise to Gwynriel and highly likely Emorie (Mor x Emerie).

The cabin was still and quiet as you stood in the kitchen, dicing up carrots for dinner only for one instead of two.

The table had two chairs, and your bedroom had a bed meant for two and two night stands. Clothes meant for you and clothes meant for someone else who couldn't even wear them anymore, left untouched in your closet. You sighed and shut your eyes for just a moment as sorrow that attacked you every day came in for battle. It had been ten years, and yet you could still never get over him and it was pitiful for you to admit you still loved him.

You still remembered the day he left like it was yesterday, August 8th 1995. You were in the kitchen making breakfast for two, having two plates out and two servings made, two napkins and two forks. As you cooked your scrambled eggs and flipped your bacon, a smile creeped onto your lovely face as you felt arms come around your waist and a nuzzle against your neck.

“G’morning…” Your husband tiredly mumbled, his large hands delicate against you no matter how rough and calloused. You chuckled and glanced back at him, admiring how he looked so put together but acted as if he wasn't ready to face anything let alone the day. You continued to cook and pressed your lips against his temple delicately.

Adoration wasn't the word you'd use to describe how you felt, or love. Those words just simply didn't feel strong enough to use but you knew no other words for it. “Good morning, handsome. Sleep well?” You cooed to your husband that acted like a dog, loyal and loving every day and struggled to tear himself away from your side.

He nodded dazily, and smiled as he smelled the air. He reached over to grab a piece of bacon which earned him a swat to the hand, making him groan and pout. “You're so mean to me.” He complained. You simply rolled your eyes and giggled while continuing to prepare breakfast for the two of you as he took a seat and adored you from afar. You were his everything, even if you two got married later than some. You were 38 and he was 42, only having been married for two years but he wouldn't have it any other way. His brown eyes glimmered with happiness as he saw you approach with two plates, setting them down as you kissed him in which he happily reciprocated.

During the kiss, you separated your lips just momentarily to reply to his previous comment. “Love hurts, Rich.” You hummed before kissing him for just a moment more, taking a seat when you were done and left him in a daze. Even after being with you for so long and married so short, you still had him in the puppy love phase and he couldn't drag himself out of it. He playfully poked your ribs and started to eat his pancakes first. “Yeah yeah, I know.”

The morning went smoothly as always, with Rich scarfing down his breakfast and just adoring you while you finished up. Then his least favorite part came which was leaving, he sighed as you fixed his tie and hair while he was at the door. “Maybe I should call out today.. just spend the day here with you.” He murmured, causing you to raise an eyebrow and hum in amusement.

“Well, while that would be nice.. we can't really afford it right now Rich. Just go in and I promise, we can cuddle and watch a movie on our DVD player when you get back.” You said softly, since you still had a rented out DVD player to put to use. He nodded and gave you a kiss with a delicate squeeze to the hips, before leaving.

That was the last time you ever saw him. Now here you were in the kitchen alone in a cabin you two had bought together, 48 and getting grays and wrinkles. You still loved him after ten years and didn't dare touch anything that was his after he left, the thought of getting rid of anything hurt you more. It was 2005 and today marked 10 years, and honestly you hoped he came home most days. Others you honestly hoped you developed dementia early just to forget about him but it wasn't that easy.

You still felt his touch lingering on your skin, still felt his lips pressed against yours and your neck and the house still smelled like him in a way. Your loved ones had tried so desperately to get you to move on, go on dates and go to clubs but it never felt right. It always felt like you were cheating on a man that wasn't even there anymore.

You lost your appetite which was a normal occurrence since that day, but finished cooking before putting the leftovers in the fridge. Your body wasn't the same as it used to be, with age and loss of appetite from a broken heart. The floorboards creaked beneath your feet, aging with you as you waited and walked into the living room. You sat on your spot on the couch, looking over at the one beside you that you never allowed anyone else to sit in. With a soft sigh you glanced at the window and waited patiently, like you did that night. You waited for hours and didn't fall asleep, not once and you fretted the worse may have happened and maybe it did. Your heart yearned for him and it ached no matter what you did to fill it. Nothing could remedy it and you knew that.

You still loved him, but the memory of his face was fading and all you had to remember it were photos from your wedding but they hurt to look at. Everything around you caused you nothing but pain and memories that you wished you could claw out of your brain and start anew but you stayed.

You stayed and waited just a little bit longer hoping he'd come back.

she's basically something ultra magnus ordered to be made with specs taken from blackarachnia made to be the perfect bodyguard/decepticon killer for himself after the attack by shockwave, then pawned off on sentinel to mentor, like the jet twins.

in protoform early elementary programming, she passed all the combat tests with flying colours. they even had to feed her advanced decepticon war simulations meant for combat training fully forged bots, unfortunately despite everything they threw at her, she still came out a little "under-cooked".

she has some of her programming too, inherited a lot of blackarachnia/elita's scientific curiosity, particularly with organic life. unfortunately sentinel doesn't allow organic life of the on the steelhaven, so she has to make do with cadavers that meet his standard of cleanliness.

unfortunately she's also had to have some of the "topical glitches" and behaviours unique to techno-organic, mainly leaking coolant from her optics, despite how many times sentinel punishes her for doing so, and sends her back to cybertron for a reprogramming and tune ups.

she blindly loves sentinel though, it's in her programming. plus she might have some vestigial animal-like code from her techno-organic counterpart, and instinctively see's him as a "father". also because she hasn't been online for very long and doesn't understand that that's not how things are supposed to be.

the jet twins are scared of her btw, they've seen what she's done to a decepticon prisoner that escaped their bond on the ship lol.

plot points that should've been utilized in season two but weren't #432575890: the chembarons.

ignoring how awful the chembarons being taken out in a single music montage already is, I actually think it was a mistake for them to be taken out of the picture at all.

piltover's goal in season two, or act one of season two anyway, was to regain a semblance of order and reestablish control in the midst of the chaos left in the wake of the attack on the council and the continued chaos being perpetrated by jinx. as runeterra's version of the panama or suez canal, they are very valuable, and the entirety of act three in season one is establishing just how much trouble they could be in if they don't get a handle on the situation—which was one of the reasons why jayce made a deal with silco in the first place, as having some outside faction swoop in and take over because of their instability would be a problem for both piltover and zaun:

the chembarons are zaun's leaders/policing force/the guys keeping the place from falling into total anarchy, and as mentioned above an outside force coming in would be a major issue, so logically they should've played a key role in helping piltover hunt down jinx, if only for the sake of their profits. as a bonus, season one established that every single zaun faction we meet—silco’s guys, the barons, and the firelights—all hate jinx, and for good reason! so they have multiple reason to want her out of the picture.

it'd also been made clear in season one that piltover CAN'T control zaun, which is why the vote for independence happened, and with silco dead zaun is in the exact same position as piltover. working together is in their best, mutual interest, and that in of itself would be a major point of tension between the two—zaunites are pissed they're working with pilties, and piltovians are pissed they're working with trenchers. the situation would not be helped by jinx continuing to be jinx while evading capture, renni's attack, and warwick running around murdering people either btw. everything is on fire and the barons and the council are going "this is fine".

basically taking out the chembarons was a really, REALLY stupid move on multiple fronts, in and out of universe.

with the barons out of the way I want to take a moment to address ambessa and noxus, since the writers decided to make them the threat piltover and zaun came together over, which imo was also stupid. jinx being arrested should've been the finale of season two, and cait letting her go on the condition that she left piltover would've been a better ending than her sacrificing herself (because lbr having every suicidal character 'die' at the end is uh. definitely A ChoiceTM)

anyway, contrary to what the writers thought of her in season two, ambessa never had a desire to conquer piltover in season one, in fact it seemed to be the complete opposite—she wanted to take mel, whatever hextech weapons she could get jayce to make, and jump ship. a war between piltover and zaun was literally meant to be a diversion against the guy that killed kino (who I think could've been urgot but I guess we'll never know):

I know I’m a major Harkula shipper but can the Dracula fandom pretty please just acknowledge the fact they DO have something between them, in CANON, and not think that means they have to ship them </3

like I’m so tired of reading such interesting takes and then they say something about how Dracula ‘has no ability to love’ and is ‘completely heartless’, and it just ruins it for me.

You can acknowledge Dracula has an ability to love and is a terrible person. You don’t have to strip him of his emotions to say he is a bad person.

I could go on and on and on about all the things that prove Dracula’s true but twisted love for Jonathan. If you look into his character, he actually has a lot of traits of BPD ( not saying he HAS BPD, just he has a lot of traits )

One of the reasons of Dracula’s downfall was because of how damn resistant he was from physically harming Jonathan. He could have fucking won if he just could hurt him physically.

Also this whole- “It’s canon Dracula r//ped Jonathan”. No it isn’t. If anything, it is more than likely Dracula ASKED Jonathan before ‘kissing’ him. He protects him from physical harm, under any cost. Saved him multiple times from being r//pe. The problem with vampires and consent is that vampires view people as food. You don’t need to ask food for consent to eat them. But, he so obviously values Jonathan more than JUST food.

The way he goes about keeping Jonathan in his castle is by giving him ‘choice’. He wants to feel as if Jonathan CHOOSES to stay with him. He doesn’t just force Jonathan to come back to his castle, cause he creates a scenario where Jonathan will feel inclined to choose being with him than leaving. He thinks he is being better in giving Jonathan a choice when he is still influencing him to choose one or the other. Unlike with other people, he forces them. Jonathan is not an object to be used up, but one to be cherished.

It makes zero sense for Dracula to end up r//ping Jonathan on June 29th (I do not see there to be any other possibility of his blood being drank on other days as of now — there is no proof of it). He cares for him too much. He actively resists his own vampiric desires around Jonathan. He clearly has access to ‘food’, yet he seems to have chosen to starve himself to keep to the same age FOR Jonathan. He put his own terrible desires under control. He doesn’t do that for ANYONE else (I wrote a whole Google document about this so).

He values Jonathan more than any other character. He focuses on Jonathan so much on Jonathan and- puts him on a pedestal that he even blames Mina for his ‘betrayal’, the ‘abandonment’, just so he doesn’t have to see Jonathan as having ‘full-on’ faults (black and white thinking…the idolising…). That isn’t to say that whatever happened to them would have been *proper* consent though, considering the situation. And it isn’t to say that Dracula isn’t bad to other characters. He is. He was terrible to Jonathan, and terrible to others. It isn’t to say he can’t have the capacity to love. He is a character with layers — he isn’t pure evil, but it is completely understandable that other characters view him as such.

Honesty, all the fandoms I’ve been in do this (mischaracterise). So, I don’t blame you guys. But it’s so infuriating to see so many people just go with it. That might be just because I’m autistic but 😭😭 please. I would die to see a popular take on Dracula that is actually accurate to his character. it's funny because aside from the crazies the normal BT fans don't like the scene because it's confirming this relationship is very much just extremely casual and about just sex. this situationship is gonna end in s8 for sure. oliver knows this as well which is why he doeosn't touch this shit wiht a ten foot pole also the way they harass him and ryan in his dm's and attack ryan and they're shocked oliver blocks their asses when they attack one of his best friends whom btw both oliver and ryan are already captains of a ship which pisses them off i'm sure.

I honestly can't wait to see that nothing of a ship go down in flames. That fandom has been insufferable to deal with and not just for the Buddie fandom but like you pointed out some of them have harassed Oliver and Ryan and even journalists. They've also spammed the 911 accounts with B*mmy comments and they message Tim all the time.

I have no problem with people who ship something different than me but I really can't wait for T*mmy to be gone because ever since that ship became a thing the entire 911 fandom has been worse off.

I blame Lou and his cameos for some of this though because if he hadn't been feeding into their delusions and giving them attention some of the more zealous ones might not have gotten as out of hand as they have. I also think without the cameos those fans might have had a more realistic picture of where things were headed. Instead some of them firmly believe that s7 was setting up T*mmy to be Buck's endgame love interest.

I get being hopeful and rooting for your ship but they completely ignore what's actually being shown on screen while somehow also acting like canon is the only thing that matters. Make it make sense. 🤦‍♀️Like they attack people simply for celebrating Eddie as a queer character because they haven't said he's queer on the show so that's not allowed. Nevermind the fact that no one said Buck was queer before season 7 but he still is and has been. They call us delusional for still shipping Buddie and wanting to see them together yet Buddie had way more screen time than B/T. And what screen time they did have was also some of the most important Eddie and Buck had all season. Their relationship came out of s7 deeper than it has ever been.

Mostly I just hope that they're not going to attack Oliver and Ryan when that ship inevitably ends. Because Buddie or no Buddie I 100% don't see B*mmy lasting beyond s8. I know they'll blame us but I don't want to see Oliver disappear from social media when a portion of them get smacked in the face with the reality that this was never meant to be a long term ship. I wish they'd realize this is why he's not promoting that ship. He knows to some degree where this storyline is heading and he doesn't want to get peoples hopes up.

I know you probably get a lot of asks about that injury post but I really need answers for a very specific scenario in my fic (it may have to change just because of how unlikely survival seems, but if you think it's possible then that saves me some trouble lol):

Character A is stabbed through the chest with a big ass scythe (like, the kind of scythe you'd see the grim reaper holding). It's meant to kill. The person who stabbed him would not want to keep the weapon lodged in the body, and pulls it out.

Character B is very closeby and almost immediately becomes aware of the event. He's able to whisk Character A (who, I would assume still has some strength to put pressure on his own wound, and would know to do so) to a safe spot that's just a short walk away, easy to get to, but of course a minute or so would have to pass for the attacker to be out of sight before they're able to escape to this space and all.

As Character A loses his strength, Character B would obviously have to hold the wound down. They can't go to a hospital, Character A is a wanted criminal. But his brother is a doctor that lives nearby.

Would the doctor be able to save him from the injury just using portable tools? How quickly would he have to arrive to the scene? Should Character B do anything more while they wait?

(btw, both of these characters are experienced with injury, it's like.. a hero/villain fic and whatever, Character A is an active villain while Character B is a retired hero so they know what they're doing but it's never gotten this bad before)

firstly, this sounds like a very interesting story and I would love to know who you are to read it.

secondly, let's figure this out!

Scythes are meant for slicing or cleaving, which means they do thin, deep lacerations. (idk how stabbing would work, some interesting physics right there). Therefore, Character A would defo need lots and lots of pressure on that wound. Lots of bandages and stitches.

Short answer; yes, doctors carry suture kits all the time, and if this doctor brother fellow carried a metric fuckton of gauze and medical tape, he might be stable enough to move to long-term care (not necessarily a hospital but at least a building).

My main concern would be the blood loss - all of your vital organs are in the torso, and so blood flow is concentrated there. Lots of blood loss and possible organ failure...not so treatable in transport. since I'm assuming the blade went all the way through (i.e entrance and exit wound), pressure on one side wouldn't help much.

To conclude, I would hold chances of survival as very very low.

the doctor would have to be on site really for any chance to be salvaged. Character B, if they've got a good head on their shoulders, would keep them awake and jam some mud or wet cloth into the wound. gross, yeah, but if it fits it ships. In that case, the doctor would also need disinfectant and some salves. (you can deal with infection later, blood loss is Top Priority)

But then again, this is fiction and you can manipulate it how you want. Good luck, and I will hope for the survival of this poor fellow!
