I Thought We Were Friends? + Information

If you don’t know or remember, there was a recent post showing a bit of lore about the BBI Dogday explaining that he was loyal to the Prototype but sort of implied that it was to keep his enemies(Prototype) closer like a spy. There were also other theories but long story short, I said I won’t really pick a side until the devs themselves directly state which is correct, but in the official discord server, they recently implied the spy idea so that theory is most likely true one.

But that got me thinking, what if this provided more of an explanation to Catnap’s choice of leaving him legless and chained up instead of just killing him. Why leave him like that? Well, how about this, let’s say Dogday pretended to be on the Prototype side and actually developed a bit of a bond with BBI Catnap kind of like how the picture frame displayed in the cartoon. But once Catnap realized/found out about the heresy(which in this case, I’m using the term as being against the Prototype), similar to how in Catnap’s eyes, the Prototype is like a superhero, in Catnap’s eyes, Dogday betrayed him. Dogday was pretending, lying, and may have hurt Catnap more than any other random heretic causing Catnap to punish him way more brutally than he did with others.

Long story short, Dogday being a heretic hit quite the nerve.

I imagine the interaction to go like this:

I was thinking of incorporating this idea in the False God’s Limbo, although I don’t imagine Catnap ever talking this much so as a work around, I have an idea that he can speak long sentences technically but it hurts his throat and it can even cause damage especially when he was alive.

The reason why I claim Catnap doesn’t normally do this is because we do see hung toys but like the ones Mommy Long Legs kills, they seem to be first quickly dead before being hung up. Dogday is the only case we’ve seen so far of a toy purposely being left alive meanwhile everyone else seemed to be navigating fine which leads me to believe Dogday was a special case and maybe a more personal one for Theodore.

How I promised, I want to make more comics located in the cozy, heartwarming world of Smiling Critters’ cartoon. And I shall do more!

Except, I need to write a major thing in here, which is the shipping of the characters. As I know it’s a bit controversial, I wanted to clear things up regarding that matter.

So, I can shamelessly say I do and I will ship the characters. But only, and ONLY their cartoony versions. The in-game ones are done. They need some rest.

And still the cartoon characters’ shipping will be ONLY platonic. Nothing overly romantic, definitely nothing s⭐️xual. Just pure, sweet and kind.

I did tag this one as a ship and I shall tag them as ships, but that doesn’t change what I said above ☺️
