I look at all these successful web toons these days and feel happy but I also think back to how Homestar Runner is like the grandfather to all these shows and most people won’t know it.

Like it did everything it really grew a dedicated following, the creators never sold it out to other companies. It makes most money from merch and has gotten several video games and a crossover with TF2 in a poker game.

you know before the Jimmy Timmy power hour first special; I didn’t like Cindy and when I heard about this special; imagine my surprise reading that Cindy would fall for Timmy but after seeing them I actually do like her when she’s with Timmy and I hate how rare this shipping is; I like other Timmy shippings more (Trixie to a point and molly) but still

I'm not saying we should excuse Della. I'm saying that Dewey HAS an excuse - Della doesn't, and she IS being a bad influence, Dewey still has time to improve. Go easy on him, will ya?

I’m not a parent but I know a lack of gratitude when I see it. Louie and Huey at least respect Donald with the former practically seeing him as his TRUE parent.

But Dewey? We really gonna excuse the “You owe me 12 years of Turbo!” bit? Not once was there ever love from Dewey to Donald and that moment from the Shadow War episode felt forced out of the blue one; and then it was all “Meh, Donald”.

And just because he’s a kid does not automatically excuse his faults. That is like excusing Ed, Edd, n’ Eddy for half the sh*t they pulled; and they’re only a couple of years older than Dewey.

Donald raised these boys with love and care which their mom SUCKS at. Dewey CHOSE to be a little prick. Just like he chose to endanger the family for quick clout almost every single time.

I understand if Dewey is significant to you. But to me, he’s always going to be the “blue one” who never showed gratitude to his uncle who gave up a lot for his nephews—but will immediately give his whole heart to an absolute STRANGER who abandoned her kids and has learned nothing/won’t admit her faults.

Have you seen the DuckTales ‘17 finale? If so, what are your thoughts on it?

I don’t want to. I’m not ready. It took me like almost two years before I decided to even look up the Amphibia finale (and it depressed me/pissed me off)

DT17 went from a dream come true to a sad example of why some families just suck:
