The picture in Adam’s glove rendezvous has a the man (who looks like Greenmantle, which is to say like a combination of Ronan and Gansey, which is to say he looks like Declan but I digress) standing next to a German made car.

I could have sworn in addition to the Gansey comparing Adam to the Pig scene there was a scene where Ronan did as well but I looked up every time the word “Camaro” is mentioned in the Dream Thieves + The Raven King (only books with Ronan pov chapters) and did not find this so I wonder if I made it up, or saw someone else misremember and then adopted it in my memory. Someone enlighten me if not. There are certainly others but I either couldn’t remember them or couldn’t find text evidence to confirm they were real. Of course, you might say that some of these were likely more intentional from a doylist pov than others, however the text is the text and motifs are motifs. I am simply an academic presenting my findings to you all.

Also the Latin line is said twice once when the Camaro breaks down Ronan says it jokingly to Gansey in the scene where he also puts a leg over Adam’s, then Adam remembers it after a breakdown in TDT as applying to how he’s a “trainwreck” right before finding himself in Ronan’s dream. Feel the others are self explanatory enough but thought this one merited explanation if you haven’t reread recently.

I got some dyed-to-order yarn in and I'm...disappointed in the color. This is 100% not a diss or call-out against the dyer, it's just that the color isn't what I was expecting it to be and now I don't know what to do with it.

This is the picture on the listing (link here):

The base I ordered is second from the right. Based on that and the listing saying it's a "rich, purpled shade of brown", I was expecting a color that could lean purple or brown in equal measure.

This is what arrived (left is adjusted to appear as true to life as possible, right is the raw image):

Straight up brown. Reddish, a bit purplish in the right light, but overwhelmingly brown. It's a nice brown, to be fair! Warm, saturated, deep, all that good stuff.

Thing is, I got it to make a shirt for myself. I don't wear brown, like, at all. I don't know if it might be worth making the shirt anyway, if I should find a different idea for the yarn, or if I should make a gift for someone else instead.

Admittedly I was thinking at least a little bit about the rescue bots when I wrote the post because I swear to Primus every one of the main cast of bots is trying to fuck humans. Not even necessarily their human partners specifically (boulder and heatwave absolutely are tho), but at some point, every one of the bots has Said or Done Some Shit in the show that reads like they're interested in getting with humans. Prowl "I've fantasized about being human before" TFA walked so the rescue bots could sprint.

(I've also just kinda had Boulder/Graham Brainrot lately, so that might be contributing lmao)

Okay, y'all, since the show is actually kinda vague about this I'd like to know your opinion:

Since there is no evidence in the show to the contrary, I've assumed since the beginning that Tech does need his goggles for some level of visual correction. He doesn't have to be blind as a bat to benefit from glasses, after all - maybe he's just a little more nearsighted than other clones.

Also, I've seen this argument floated before and I agree with it: when Tarkin asks for more details about Clone Force 99, Nala Se describes them as "medically defective clones" - a vision impairment would qualify as a medical deficiency. (I've also seen the counterargument that this was a reference to the Bad Batch simply not being genetically identical to the other clones, but personally I see a distinct difference in meaning between "genetically altered" and "medically defective.") That being said, I have absolutely no doubt that Tech's intellect - his "enhanced trait desirable in a soldier" - was more than enough to save him from being decommissioned over something relatively trivial and easily corrected like poorer eyesight.
