some doodles regarding my Bill & Ted alternate universe!! Important notes:

-1st and 2nd film happen pretty much as normal

-their daughters have been completely overhauled in design because I did not like their outfits & hair at all

-“Thea” has been changed to “Theo” because I prefer the way it sounds (and it’s more androgynous)

-The girls are more similar in personality to their fathers, being just as laid-back and naive (FtM attempted this but kinda failed)

-B&T are divorced from the princesses & live in the same home together to raise the daughters

-Rufus has still passed, but he has an apprentice who takes over his job & visits the Preston-Logan family

-This apprentice is usually the one who takes Theo and Billie on ridiculous time adventures, which she gets unwillingly roped into

I might post more about this idea later, because I love how the daughters turned out!

This is a Casey ship that I can absolutely get behind, even if they aren't an OTP for me they're amazing (they got the red/blue AND enemies to lovers thing come ONNNNN). Theo going out of his way to train Casey after an episode of tearing him down, AND encouraging him afterwards during battle? AND these two are fighting over Lily without realizing they're also perfect together?? PLEASE I need you to be so fr rn. I adore Lily/Theo too with my entire heart but Casey/Theo serves a different variation of grumpy/sunshine (namely with gay rival tension) that makes my heart melt just as much, honestly both Casey and Lily js need to kiss Theo and get it over with show this short king some love

Quinn had lost Alfie. He’s the one who insisted they come to the town meeting, as per usual, but he’d ran off to chat with his other friends when he’d noticed Elijah’s head poking above the crowd, leaving her to awkwardly hang around, looking for anyone else she knows to keep her company. After a minute or two of her just looking around helplessly, she spots Theo. With a small gaspp, Quinn goes on her tippy-toes and practically flails her arms around so he could maybe see her, too. “Theo! Hey. Heeey! Hold on.” She starts moving towards him, trying to avoid bumping into anyone or being an inconvenience in general before she finally reaches him, smiling big. “I feel like I haven’t seen you in ages. I have so much to update you on.” Her hand dives in her handbag until she grips her phone. She slides even closer to him and opens her gallery so they can look through the photos together. “Look! My lemon tree grew its first lemon this morning. And I didn’t even cheat it with my powers, it just started growing on its own. And I think the Peace Lily you got me is settling in well. I mean, I can’t know for sure, but it’s healthy, and it seems happy to me. You should probably come over and check it too, though, just in case. Oh, that’s just Balo. We hung out the other day. Aaand that’s my new Croton. I got it in red for the living room ‘cause fall vibes, you know?” A little out of breath but finally done with the important updates, she shoots him another smile and rocks back on her sneakers. “So, anyway… are you sitting with someone? Do you mind if I join you?”

AUSTIN CRUTE was already a favorite character actor on DAYBREAK. This is such a different side to his masculine Apocalyptic Samurai. Really - this guy has range!

Ok I need to ramble about Lapin for a second because like. He isn't mourned. Liam is busy grieving for Preston, and he's hellbent on getting revenge on the carrot, but it's not for Lapin. Theo might have mourned him, but he's immediately hit in the gut with Jet's death, which devastates absolutely everyone in the party. Because everyone loved Jet, and Liam loved Preston, but nobody loved Lapin. His death is sandwiched between two others. What must that feel like, to be unloved by your allegiance and an apostate to your order. Abandoned on both sides. Serving a patron who only asks of you and never gives. Fully prepared to make a villainous monologue and Thunder Step Liam out of there. Lapin saved two people in that fight, Theo and Liam, and both of them are busy grieving someone more important than him. What must that be like!

i've been thinking about this a lot recently but it can be frustrating to be a black man in fandom seeing the way black characters and their actors are treated. i saw it with preston, i saw it with vivienne, i'm seeing it again with wyll.

they're sidelined in art, they're written in ooc and borderline racist ways in fics. their actors are ignored at best. they're picked apart and criticized in a way their white counterparts are not. the traits they are lambasted for are the same traits a white character is praised for.

and then something big happens, like theo being skipped over for his chance to tell his story at that panel, and suddenly people care and are calling for more respect. people will pat themselves on the back and forget. but months from now when the next game with a prominent black lead comes the cycle will continue because a lot of people aren't actually confronting their biases and are just doing lip service for brownie points online. whatever.
