On similar topics to the prior, I also like to point out that subtle differences in line delivery - again, something more or less up to the performer/director - can completely change ways that that suggests characterization
Let's explore pieces from Michael in the Bathroom and the prior scene:
"Did you ever wonder what it's doing inside you?" - this is how George often said it, and can be taken multiple ways. Obviously, the next line suggests that Jeremy took it as 'he's not worthy for it hence Michael is jealous' whereas, as we know, Michael is trying to say that this can't be its intended use to just end up in a random high schooler
"Did you ever wonder what it's doing inside you?" - saw a community theater production on youtube where the Michael actor emphasised 'doing,' which COMPLETELY shifts the meaning. This implies that Michael is first and foremost worrying about the purpose of the SQUIPs, and the way it's changing Jeremy from the inside. Jeremy's next line, therefore, suggests that instead Michael is jealous of the ways he's personally improving (social standing, posture, skills etc)
Right there - a pair of lines from which a lot of analyses hinge on interpretting the cracks in their friendship - one choice of word emphasis can fundamentally re-direct what it says about the way the character works on the inside
Another more general example (going to keep using MITB because it's The Song), how the actor's voice and gesturing in the song change things.
George in Two River, while certainly heartbroken, certainly came across a lot less timid and anxious than Broadway. On the Broadway recording, the tempo is a little slower (and plays back and forth), he's using more head-voice than chest voice (so less 'angry' and forceful), and in some ways his voice is a lot smoother than Two River. This is the same actor only a few years apart, who originated the character, and already two different productions make Michael seem pretty different, especially how one might intuit things about the character
The biggest, most obvious example out there is the VERY early demo with Will Roland as Michael, where the delivery is completely different. He's sad, sure, but it's a lot more bitter and sarcastic than heartbroken and panicky. The only main musical difference is that it's in a lower key; the rest of it is how the actor chooses to pronounce and intone things, and it feels like a completely different song.
There are some other productions out there with various other takes: I saw a cabaret-style version where the singer decided to make MITB a comedic(?) number, which, while weird and (imo) kind of missing the point, was totally possible; the audience was laughing along. Then you have the Australian production, where the actor decided to have MITB come off as a furious number, almost yelling with how hard he was using chest-voice throughout. Then you have that one large-scale youth production (I forget the company name), where the actor went a little closer to Two-River George for general delivery, but leaned into just full-on ugly crying through the end of the song, which again, changed how the whole thing came off (this is honestly how I personally like to perform it, but again, I don't think that would work for every actor/production)
(there are also, of course - and no disrespect intended, acting skills vary - quite a few high-school productions online where the singer is really just doing his best to make it through and hit the notes, and that's fair too, it's a challenging song for an inexperienced singer)
Anyway, as a followup to how wide a range of character traits are up to the actor, even the same script can be turned and interpretted quite differently! This isn't even getting into non-verbal ways you can have characters interact that might suggest completely different interpretations

Kung Fu Panda 4 Thoughts/Liveblog Thing
Just caught this at the theater for a grand total of five whole dollars, so I thought I'd do some quick opinions while it's fresh.
Non-spoiler opinion: It was Okay(TM), but the movies were considerably stronger as a trilogy. It's worth seeing one (1) time if you're a KFP fan (and really, who isn't), but I wouldn't bother paying full price for it or anything
SPOILERS FOR ALL 4 MOVIES UNDER THE CUT:
A list of things that slap:
The animation is stunning and fast-paced. Really loved the use of Chinese-style paint brush strokes to accentuate the action
Also I'll talk about the 5 later but I also really liked the animation change when describing where they are—all KFP movies have at least one animation shift and I'm glad this one kept up with it
Some of the fight scenes were super good, I liked the one that uses the tilting bar on a cliff in particular
(side note: the Missing Link did something similar, just on a ship. Go watch the Missing Link)
The Chameleon served straight cunt the entire time she was on screen and I kind of loved (almost) everything about her. Character design was incredible, voice was perfect, palace design was amazing, abilities were sick
Also the way she rides up chilling in a golden tree branch of all things? Fellas, we have no choice but to stan
Also I just appreciate the choice to both do a female villain for a change and to get a reptile in here after having only mammals and one (1) bird as villains previously
Speaking of character design there were a few really good ones in there, like a pangolin that moves Sonic the Hedgehog-style, a cool looking female boar, and a bunch of Komodo dragon henchmen. Good stuff
The jokes were a very mixed bag for me, some hit and some didn't. I will say that Zhen just going "that's great for you" in response to Shifu stating he's a red panda got me for some reason
If anyone hurts Po's gay dads I'm killing everyone in this room and then myself
Jack Black's cover of Baby One (1) More Time is unironically better than the original
A list of things that Do Not Slap:
Pacing/Plot:
This movie lacked a color scheme? KFP 1 was blue (also some gold), KFP 2 was red, KFP 3 was green. These colors weren't subtle either, there are entire scenes in each movie drenched in these colors and it was really obviously missing here
The whole first half the movie feels really breathless and too fast-paced. Apparently it was a studio mandate to have it not go over an hour and a half which is A) stupid and B) hurts the pacing
As much as I love Po's two gay dads we REALLY should not have been wasting time on their journey when the runtime is so tight
Also them tagging along felt off? Mr. Ping was worried sick about Po in KFP 2 but he doesn't tag alone because obviously he needs to let his son have his space. It's more in-character with Li Shan but it doesn't come across like he's talking Mr. Ping into it or something
In general there are so many plot points in this movie that feel under-developed. You could've made an entire movie out of the previous villains returning, Zhen and the Chameleon's relationship (see below), etc.
Po's Character:
People not knowing Po is the dragon warrior is weird, I'm pretty sure he would've been more well known than that
The entire thing with Po needing to give up his role as the Dragon Warrior doesn't really make sense? The Dragon Warrior is literally a made-up title. There's no need to have a Dragon Warrior because there is no such thing technically, it's why Oogway denied Tai Lung the title and then waited years and years to give it to Po. Like it's not a role that needs to be passed down, that's missing the entire point of the Everything
Also Po's only been like Dragon Warrior for a few years? I don't think we're ever given a time scale but it wasn't that long
The jokes about Shifu and Po having trouble with inner peace/mediating feels off given that was the entire plot of the second movie
It felt like Po regressed a bit character wise. He acts like he has no idea how to be a teacher in this movie but he already was a teacher by the end of the third, that was the entire point??
Also he seemed like he was more gullible in this movie but I could be wrong
Why is Po so impressed with Juniper city. He literally spent most of KFP 2 in Gongmen hello?? I think(?) Juniper is bigger but he shouldn't be acting like he has no idea what a city is
Zhen/Chameleon:
Zhen's character design doesn't match anything else, which is weird because most of the new characters in this film keep the distinct style in some form or another
Her wanted poster shows her with the bold markings KFP is known for and it looks SO much better
The plot twist with Zhen working for the villain was so obvious I did not realize it was supposed to be a twist at first
Also, the entire thing with Zhen was entirely unneeded? The Chameleon could've just just stood up and announced her plan to take over and Po would've shown up on her doorstep with the staff
I guess the idea is that Po needed to hand over the staff willingly for it to work? But if that's the case the Chameleon could've just impersonated Tigress or something and gotten it that way in like 1/3 of the time
Originally she was supposed to have kidnapped Shifu which would've been a much better plot point as it would've given Po extra motivation
The other problem with treating Zhen as a plot twist is that it hampers the relationship she has with the Chameleon effectively being her mom, which is FASCINATING. They had some really interesting chemistry together (the whole "stand up straight" thing as one example) and I could've seen it as a Mother Gospel from Tangled kind of deal, but we barely get any interaction between the two and it's like AAAAAAA
Fanfic writers fix this shit. I believe in you
I'll have to chew on it more but my pacing thought would actually be to start with Po finding out about the Chameleon's "take over everything" plan very early due to Shifu's kidnapping. He breaks into the lair like at the 1/3 mark or earlier and he meets Zhen inside which then leads into why she's doing what she's doing and the mother angle, etc etc blah blah
The Chameleon needed to just straight-up murder someone, comically shoving them down the stairs isn't good enough. I know stairs are Po's greatest enemy but I don't think that applies to everyone
Shen was allowed to stab someone on-screen so I think the Chameleon should be a allowed to strangle someone or something. as a treat
If violence was the concern just keep it off-screen like Master Rhino's death in KFP 2
The shapeshifter turning into a giant monster trope is overrated and I'm glad it was just used briefly here and not even for her defeat
Also the Chameleon's thing with her being rejected from Kung Fu because she's too small makes no sense b/c Mantis, which I'm pretty sure everyone's pointed out already. She does say "lowly" I think but was she ever poor? Could make a very interested parallel to Zhen if that was the case but it was never brought up again
I've heard some argue body image parallels w/ Po in KFP 1 but if that was the intent it's not explored, like, at all, which is a shame because it could've been an interesting angle
Also If they wanted a better excuse related to body image just say she was too frail instead of too small. I haven't owned chameleons but I've heard from people who have that they are very frail and very hard to keep alive, which would be a much better reason to turn her away
Cameos:
Yes I'm devoting an entire section to five second cameos don't judge me
I have mixed feelings on the Five not being present (save for the end cameos). On the one hand they are sorely missed but on the other hand they would've just made the plot bloat even worse
Lack of speaking was also bothersome. Part of me is glad they weren't recast with cheaper VAs because it's disrespectful to interchange them, but on the other hand that might've been better than just not having them speak and not paying anyone anyway
Tai Lung had all the best lines and was also the best used out of all the cameos, even if it would've been nice to have him on screen for longer. Also if they stuck with Shifu being kidnapped those two could've had some much-needed dialogue
Side note, while I don't think it contradicts anything from KFP 3 the spirit world having only kung fu masters in it feels off? It makes it seem so small and limited
Kai being there is weird. He's like. dead dead. Deader than dead. I guess you could argue that you can't kill something that's already dead but there's nothing even acknowledging this
Trying to take Shen's kung fu is really weird because the entire point of the fight with Master Rhino in KFP 2 is that he is not? a master?? like he's GOOD but he's not amazing, like if a master is like a 10/10 he's like an 8/10.
"The Chameleon has the powers of all my old nemesises!" WHAT'S SHEN'S POWER EXACTLY. HIS ONLY POWERS ARE GUN AND MOMMY/DADDY ISSUES
She does summon him way later than Tai Lung and Kai so maybe she was just camp spawning every single person she could think of regardless of skill level? she also uses his wings at one point so maybe she just wanted those, I don't think(?) there were other birds summoned
Though speaking of which she claimed she was using his wings but very clearly wasn't? not only were they black but they were raggedy and lacked the five longer feathers on the tips
Also Shen's model was super off, it looked way too fluffy and like an entire row of eyespots were missing from the edge of the train (which might have been a clipping error? unsure) it's been said the new models were made out of glue and popsical sticks and I believe it
Tai Lung has a habit of just like Grabbing anyone that's smaller than him and it amuses me
It's honestly really weird that everyone would just agree to go back into the spirit world willingly?
Like I think it works for Tai Lung because he's a noble person who just goes into a disassociative state and commits atrocities. Like I think he'd be willing to accept his death
Also it checks out for Shen because he killed himself and given his "dead belong in the past" mentality I can't imagine him wanting to stick around, he'd probably think it was unnatural
But Kai?? Kai was FURIOUS at being dragged back into the spirit world at the end of 3, like hell he'd just go quietly
Also I can see Tai Lung maybe respecting Po enough to bow to him but everyone else is pushing it unless they have therapists in the spirit world. Po offered Shen some nice advice at the end of KFP 2 and his response was to kill himself on the spot, I don't think him or Kai would be bowing
All of them were definitely in the middle of a mahjong match and were experiencing the equivalent of being woken up in the middle of a nap so they were just going along with things
Chameleon: I'm going to steal your kung fu
Everyone:
Misc:
I did like some of the more subtle callbacks. Stuff like Po seeing his reflection in the blade the way Shifu did or the "I can't even beat you to the stairs" scene were nice and not overly overt or in-your-face
If Po actively refers to himself as the "Kung Fu Panda" one more time I'm going to end it all
anyway that was not supposed to be a 12 page essay but it's too late now, goodbye

My bad for the panic attack. For a very vanilla ask: perfect dates for Roy keeley and Jamie (and how they arrange them). (I'm sorry about confusing wording, I'm struggling with English right now)
Not your fault! It's not a full on panic attack either, it's really not that big of a deal just uncomfortable and distracting smh. Anyway.
All three of them actually pretty well like clubbing, so they do that quite a lot. In addition to all of them just generally having a good time, it's also pretty easy to keep things between them on the DL doing that as a date (while that's a relevant concern), since it's not an unexpected activity for a group or to dance with multiple partners and be kind of indiscriminately provocative, and they've all been Seen at clubs plenty of times before individually.
They also all three like going to museums. [transpose them into the Ferris Bueller's Day Off art museum montage here, but also if Keeley picked the museum that time it's something morbid - in which case Cameron's impressionism & The Self existential crisis is Jamie confronting his own mortality in front of an exhibit about virgin sacrifice or something]
RoyJamie dates include but are not limited to escape rooms, walking tours, Jamie tagging along when Roy takes Phoebe to theme parks or jungle gym-y things (do you have anything like the St. Louis City Museum in the UK?), and indie concerts in dive music bars that Jamie takes Roy to and pretends to be snobby about "introducing" Roy to "proper good music". They also somewhat consider the down time on away games where they're away for more than just night before and the match dates, which they usually spend going to brunch and then making good use of their hotel room.
JamieKeeley dates include but are not limited to fashion shows (they have wildly differing opinions on every collection and take great pleasure in negging each other about it), poetry readings, destination dates where they hit all the overhyped tourist spots and then hit as many you-have-to-know-it places to get The Full Experience TM (think the conceit of Tourist Trapped on Watcher), and spa days. Jamie's also allowed at girls' nights with Rebecca and Sassy (and eventually Barbara, and sometimes Bex) because he's kind of a girl sometimes, and that's a bit date-like.
RoyKeeley dates include but are not limited to cafe dates, really nice restaurant reservations, staycation type occasions where Roy puts together a whole elaborate relaxation/luxury itinerary complete with rose petals and other grand gestures for Keeley and devotedly sees to her every want and need all day (similar to his apology except they don't have to have fought they just Like It), and plays/ballets/operas/etc (although they do find some theaters/troops that encourage audience participation to take Jamie to too).

Barbie movie, my opinion:
The good!
The set, prop, and costume designs were good enough to eat. If ‘live action remakes’ of animated films looked as good, I’d be lining up to watch each one. Also great choreography.
Gags that actually made everyone in the theater laugh, including Michael Cera being hapless and like 18 fully-suited executives all pedaling past on the same tandem bike. A+ for visual comedy.
In the ‘Real World,’ Barbie sits and looks at a couple having an argument, two people laughing at a conversation, somebody alone and visibly upset, the sun shining through the leaves of a tree, and it’s a very genuine little moment of yearning for something more. It’s nice to see in a movie that has a very materialistic worldview.
At the very end we’re shown that she’s really real now because she has a gynecologist appointment. Closing on a statement that all you actually need to be a real woman is to be a member of the female sex was… actually refreshing.
The bad:
At the end the Ruth Handler character says “Mothers stand still so that their daughters can see how far they’ve come,” and ???? I’m assuming it wasn’t meant as a slap in the face to moms everywhere who keep on working and striving and improving even after giving birth, but that’s what it sounds like?
It’s definitely a very materialistic movie even though it tries to shoehorn in a ‘people die, ideas don’t’ at the end. There’s no concept of there being anything better than self-empowerment, political power, or anything that isn’t temporal. I mean what do you expect from the Toy(tm) movie, but it was very empty and kind of depressing as a result.
Related to the above, the battle of the sexes storyline just. Wasn’t it. The only good ending to a battle of the sexes is a wedding, and this one was ended by the Barbies using the Kens’ nobler instincts against them. Oh, and Barbie broke up with Ken. Because love isn’t empowering.
The working-mom character snaps all of the Barbies out of it by giving a speech (like. actual speech.) about how all of the expectations and demands of women are self-contradictory and the standards are impossible to the point that not even a plastic doll passes muster, but the. movie itself. has the same problem? It can’t decide whether sitting and drinking a cup of tea is an image of oppression or a moment of feminine connection. The Barbieworld needs to be put back to the way it was but also changes need to be made but also if you change it everything will be horrible forever. Barbie is good because she says you can do anything but also she should really say that you don’t have to do anything. It just refuses to commit to an actual moral statement.
Anyway, my sister got a kick out of it, we had a nice afternoon out, and I don’t regret the $9. Wouldn’t see it again, though.

Happy WBW! Does your world have an equivalent of film bros? Or like snooty media that certain people think is the end-all-be-all but is actually soooooo tedious? (Is this actually too niche? I don't know.)
For the Rival world- I don't talk a whole lot about the available entertainment in the world, beyond Fireball, bards, and theater groups. But I'd imagine there are probably some big music fans that have Strong Opinions (TM) on the world's famous bards and their various musical adaptations of battles and fights and such.
If I had the chapter space, it would be a fun thing to extrapolate on in the books, but alas, it simply doesn't come up in the main plot.

Also, @ people who make hating "theater kids" their personality...
What you hate are arrogant people. Pretentious people (and that's pretentious as its actual definition of "pretends to be deeper and more meaningful than it is", not "has Better Taste(TM) in movies than you"). People with an outsized opinion of their actual talent who get rewarded for it. What you hate are nepo babies. By extension, what you hate are industry professionals who refuse to cast anyone who isn't white, able-bodied, and cisgender with famous parents. What you hate are people getting handed opportunities that other equally passionate and arguably more talented people will never get because of their comparative lack of privilege. And possibly most of all, what you hate are reminders of your own "cringey" teenage years before you grew up, gained some perspective on the world, and learned to give yourself some grace.
And if you'd rather spend your energy hating goddamn... kids who are passionate about theater, then I legitimately don't know how to help you.
#Seriously if you're gonna act like the real problem are teenagers who like showtunes and not actual systemic issues in the industry#then you might be beyond reasoning with. Have fun bullying children so you can feel like the bigger person I guess. :P#the schemer speaks

People have been giving you crap for not liking Kingohger, and trust me I don't agree with you, but I am at least glad you're still watching it and giving it a shot. You even praised a cliffhanger! So, be honest: Do you think it'll be crap (in your opinion) beginning to end, or do you think this is just a weak opening introduction arc or what? Also, do you think that, regardless of the series's quality, that doing non-set-in-Tokyo series will be a good step forward for plot diversity?
Going to assume these anons are all from you as well based on the wording (and if not I apologize to you and those anons but for sake of convenience I'm going to lump them all together).
Honestly overall I wouldn't exactly care that much people disagree with me about the show since I've spent enough time online to deal with people disagreeing with me about media (hell Faiz is in my top 5 and people still treat that show like the plague), but because Certain People I Won't Name wanted to start a massive argument over it and seem convinced that they can bully me into changing my mind for some reason I feel compelled to keep my rebuttals up.
I didn't go in WANTING to hate it, I've never gone into a show expecting or wanting to hate it beyond maybe Saber and even that I gave it a fair shot. I made my post about it to keep the running joke going (which I planned to do anyways regardless of quality) and when asked I made my points very clear, and at the point of the writing the first 3 episodes all have the very same reaction from me: the CG is ugly and genuinely distracting, the cinematography and general production of the show is very bad and makes a lot of basic mistakes that Sentai has never really struggled with before (seriously how hard is it to make sure the lights on the actors match the lighting of the environment?) because they're putting the fancy new tech first, the writing ranges from being decent (I do like Gira's gimmick of just pretending to be a moron want to overthrow Racules as a despot but so far little is done with it) to bland (Yanma and Himeno end up being pretty one-note despite attempts to add a new layer to them, Bugnarok and Racules are 1980's JRPG levels of generic BBEG) and even decently written/acted scenes are ruined by terrible editing or throwing in LOLRANDUM wacky and zany shit to them (DUDE HACKING BATTLE LOL) that takes me out of it.
If it weren't for the excessive flashy CG and cool new projection theater stage tech being front and center it'd be a painfully average Sentai show that is exactly why Sentai has been flopping in ratings and sales since Gokaiger, nothing new is being done and there isn't anything to hook a viewer, and the toys are kinda boring looking too. Especially after the moldbreaking psycopathy of Zenkaiger and Donbrothers, that we've gone right back to the same shit as always rather than keep pushing the envelope in the areas that actually matter is the problem. I don't even want to say someone didn't "get" Donbros (although based on some of the arguments people keep raising to me they really didn't) or blame it on sensory overload like my initial post, definitely a bad choice in hindsight but I was self aware about that, but this obsessive defense really makes just no sense to me at all.
I don't set out to make myself as the true objective arbiter of taste despite the jokes I make, and you shouldn't treat my words as such. I'm just some goofy (insert gender here) dork on the Internet who has some modicum of attention on themselves. Jokes(tm) aside I don't put myself above or below anyone else, I've been an avid fan of tokusatsu for ages and gotten particularly deep into it, deeper than the average person for sure, but I don't use that to build a pedestal for myself. You like Kingohger? Good, I'm glad you find something in it I don't. I won't attack or insult you for liking something I don't or enjoying something that from an objective standpoint is not good content, excluding maybe Ghost but even then you do you weirdo. But I've made my point and will continue to make my point until the show ends or I give up, and no outside force will change that.
Basically, what I'm trying to say about my opinion is:
And to get back to your point, I don't WANT the show to be shit beginning to end and I really hope it isn't, but based on opening perception and knowing who's behind the scenes I have low hopes for the show improving. Knowing me I end up just watching the entire show out of spite at some point but I really am going in each week hoping each episode is the one that changes my mind. Hell, I stuck with Kyuranger longer than most and that ended up getting pretty good when Houou showed up so maybe whenever SixOhger drops the show gets that kick it needs but as it stands now I couldn't say. As for the alternate setting offering plot diversity, see it's too early to make a judgement but I don't really see it. The different kingdoms are all so drastic from one another and the bizarro Final Fantasy-eques schizotech levels put the show in a weird place where paradoxically the setting itself doesn't really matter much, if the show were confined in one specific kingdom or at least had each kingdom separated into different plot arcs I could see it - which it may end up doing who knows - but the approach it seems to be going for seems to make it irrelevant. Even then, Adult Concerns will eventually rear their ugly head and the show will go through some shift to where the unique setting is dispensed with to end up with the same 8-9 filming locations we always end up in, again with Kyuranger that set itself up as a cool spacefaring action-opera and then we park our asses on Earth 4 episodes in and spend nearly the entire show there and the few times we DO go offworld after we just end up at the same quarry and stream we always go to.
#mod talks#kingohger#I PROMISE regular content will be back again eventually#all these messages come in one after the other#and I feel compelled to respond

It's Blorbo Blursday! And I arrive with questions! Your blorbos go to the movies, who:
Forgets to turn off their phone?
Has to take out a second mortgage to buy snacks?
Finishes all the snacks during the previews?
Is the Talker (tm)?
Is the one that polishes off two sodas without realizing they're probably going to have to go to the bathroom at some point during the film?
Is the one to sneak into other theaters after their movie ends to catch a free one but shhh don't tell anybody!
Happy Blorbo Blursday! This is a fun question!!
Forgets to turn off their phone: Verida ripppp
Has to take out a second mortgage to buy snacks: Not really sure what this means, but Vince enjoys throwing money at things so he'll be buying the snacks!
Finishes all the snacks during the previews: Erevan. His stomach is a black hole.
Is the Talker (tm): Aramour does Not Shut Up he has commentary he has opinions and he does not care about etiquette!!
Is the one that polishes off two sodas without realizing they're probably going to have to go to the bathroom at some point during the film: Erevan AGAIN. Like I said, black hole for a stomach (not literally, but he is star-coded soooo...)
Is the one to sneak into other theaters after their movie ends to catch a free one but shhh don't tell anybody: All of the Night Terrors. They persuade Renwick and Erevan to tag along. Ren is terrified they'll get caught but also internally thrilled.

I hope it’s not too much but! For the ask game: 1 9 15 39 50 53 70 84 99 100 Hope you have a nice day!~
Hahaha, not at all, anon, I don't mind! Thank you for asking :D I'm going to put these under a cut though, since I like to ramble and this will be quite long to scroll past otherwise :)
What’s your middle name, and do you like it?
It's Johanna, after my grandmother, who passed away ten years ago. I do like the name, and I like that it connects me to her :) I also recently learned that my first name is the "female version" of my grandfather's legal first name (he went by his middle name, and I only learned that when he passed away this year), so that's pretty cool too :)
9. Do you have any cool talents?
So... I think I am pretty good at a fair number of things, but. I am really good at parking. I enjoy driving a lot, and as an Oldest Sister(TM) I was (and sometimes still am) always driving my siblings places, so I got a lot of practice - and I have always lived in places with very limited parking, so I have gotten very good at it by necessity. I can parallel park anywhere, and have literally squeezed into spots with five centimeters to spare. I am very confident in this ability and I think it's a very useful talent lmao
15. What’s the best dream you’ve had?
I... don't really remember my dreams, and most of my dreams are kind of stressful and confusing xD Sorry, don't have a cool story here ^^
39. Favourite singer?
Oooh, ooh, a juicy question - and one I find really difficult to answer! I always feels so... unprepared, when people ask me about music, even though I do have lots of opinions...? I feel like this also depends on the genre, if it's opera or musical theater or pop or rock music... I definitely have more than one. I'd probably find it easier to talk about bands I currently am into, or something? Sorry, I know this is a non-answer dhfhhkdfk feel free to ask a more specific question and I will do my best to actually find people to respond with :'D
50. How are you doing today?
I'm alright! I just got home from tech rehearsal for our choir concert tomorrow (it went really badly hahaha - but they say if the final rehearsal sucks, the concert will be good, so, eh?) so I'm quite exhausted... but I had a nice morning, my partner and I made French toast for breakfast and went to the gym even though we were both feeling pretty groggy - I'm glad we went though, I felt better afterwards ^^
53. Is there anything you do that you can’t remember ever not doing?
Singing! And talking. I was apparently THE chattiest baby - I was speaking way earlier than kids normally do (but refused to crawl at all lmao just. lots to say but no places to be apparently) and was super interesed in words from before I can remember :) Also learned to read really early, and to write! Which I have always loved, and still do. Singing has always been a thing in the home I grew up in - and now I'm getting qualifications to be a voice teacher, so I'm coming full-circle I think :)
70. What would you change about your life if you knew you would never die?
Oh, that depends - am I the only one who will never die? What about my family? My friends? I'm sorry I need to know more about this hypothetical hsadjfklahsdjk does my back pain also stay forever? My allergies? My dizziness? Seriously though, I don't think knowing when I'll die or even if I'll die would not change much about my behavior. I generally try to do more good than I do harm, and I like to tell people honestly how I feel, especially if I appreciate them. And that's it xD
84. If you could time travel, would you go to the past or the future?
Not to be a boring square here but... the idea of time travel terrifies me. Like, as a narrative device or plot point? Cool. But I personally would not want to go anywhere. If I HAD to - as close as possible to now. I'd go back to last week, or ahead one week. I don't think I would do well in the distant past, and the future I don't want to know about until I get there. What if I go to the future and find out something horrible will happen, but I can't stop it? No. No no no no thanks :')
99. Is there a feeling you are trying to ignore? What is it?
I am always, always, always worrying. I can't really turn it off, I think worrying is natural when you care about things (and I notoriously care way too much about way too many things. It is what it is) so I am mainly trying to get stuff done without being overwhelmed :') It sounds a lot worse than it is, though.
100. Do you live or do you just exist?
I am for sure living, not just existing. I like being an active agent in my own life, and bringing positive things to the lives of people I care about. When I am at my worst, it is because I feel I am just existing and letting things pass me by. Sometimes I get overwhelmed, but I am also always trying to find beauty in things, focus on small joys on purpose, and be kind to myself.
These were really fun, thank you!!
Prompt list here - send me an ask!
#French speaks#ask game#answered#anon#These were so fun!!!#Ask me stuff :D#It really has been so long since I've been chatty on tumblr haahah

Survey #411
“everybody’s got loaded stories, and i know for a fact everybody sees a bullseye on my back”
Have you ever been to jail? No. Opinion on snow? I absolutely love it! Not big on the slush it leaves behind, though. It gets ugly. What are you best at drawing? Meerkats. Are you scared of going over bridges? Nah. If you had endless energy and stamina, how would you spend your days? Plenty of exercise, lots of exploration with my camera, doing chores much more regularly... stuff like that. What mental or physical space do you go when you want to recharge or relax? I go to my room and watch YouTube. Did you have/use a comfort object as a child (do you continue to have one)? I actually don't remember. Now as an adult, if I go somewhere, my purse is actually like my comfort item in that I like to sit and sort of hug it to feel more secure. When was the last time you said something you regret? What did you say? I'm unsure. What do you tend to get carried away with? New hobbies/interests. It will be like all I care about for a long while, ha ha. Do you believe we have souls; do you believe in a life after death? Yes to both. Do you still talk to the person you last made out with? No. Have you ever seen your best friend cry? Ugh, yes, and it's the absolute worst. What kind of vitamins did you take as a kid? We had those Flintstones ones for a while, but for most of my childhood, we had gummy vitamins. Have you ever gone to court? Well, yes, but not for like your ordinary court hearing. While hospitalized on one occasion, a lawyer visited to speak to the patients informing us that we could argue against our discharge dates if we believed we were going to be committed for too long, which I thought I was, so I signed up to bring my case in front of a judge. So yeah, I've been to court, but not for ordinary reasons. Are you friends with your neighbors? "Friends," no. The people to our left like just moved out, and I don't even know if we've ever been outside at the same time as the family on our right. Favorite color? I like baby pink. How long has it been since you’ve seen The Lion King? I saw the CGI remake when it came out, if that counts? I don't know about the original. When did you last hold hands with someone? Sometime when I was at my sister's house, my niece grabbed my hand to drag me somewhere, ha ha. Have you ever had a crush on your sibling's friend? No. Have you ever gone to a beach? Multiple times. How good is your eyesight? It is very, VERY bad. I need new glasses severely. What’s the best wedding you’ve been to? My former dance teacher's. Have you ever had a negative encounter with the police? What happened? No. What’s your favourite thing to cook/bake? Do you eat it often? I don't do either. How do you flush the toilet in public? I generally use my elbow. I don't like standing on one leg, so I don't really use my foot like I'd prefer. Favorite horror movie? Silent Hill is dearest to me overall just because of what it is, but as a horror film, I think the original Blair Witch Project is best. Do you have your wisdom teeth? X-rays have only ever shown two are present, but I have enough space for those. What would you name your pet snake if you had one? It would depend on their appearance. The snake I have currently is named Venus because her coloration is similar to the planet. Do you like peanuts? Only when covered in chocolate. Where do you typically shop for bras and underwear? Do you tend to keep it simple, or have a variety of different items? Have you ever gotten a professional bra fitting? I don't get new undergarments (or clothes in general) frequently, but historically, my bras are bought online and underwear just from Wal-Mart. I don't really get the second question? I mean I don't have a style when it comes to those types of clothes, if that's what you mean. I've never had an actual bra-fitting, but I absolutely need to but keep putting it off. It seems like NO bra fits me properly all-around, and it's ridiculously annoying. What (if any) types of xrays/scans/other diagnostic tests have you had done? Was anything found? Idk man, a lot. I've had xrays on my wrist (found a fracture), teeth, legs... maybe more? I've also had an ultrasound on my liver for reasons I don't recall. I either had an MRI or CT scan (I can't remember which) when I got a concussion, and uhhhh... I can't think of anything else. Were you breast or bottle fed as a child? If you plan to have children, which do you think you’ll choose? Do you think one is really better than the other? I was nursed, and if I hypothetically had children, I'd definitely try to do the same. It was so incredible to me that I've never forgotten this: when I was at the hospital while my sister had her first baby, there was a chart on the wall of how many more nutrients were in breast milk versus formula milk, and the list was GARGANTUAN. Like, unbelievable. Now, do I think it's BETTER? That's a complicated question for which, in short, my answer is no. More nutritious, well, given what I just said, obviously. But breastfeeding just doesn't work for all mothers for a plethora of reasons, like the time demand, they can be self-conscious, it's painful... and all those things are okay. A mother should do what works best for her. Neither one is "wrong" or makes someone less of a mother because they feed their child less traditionally. Do you find that you have become more selective in terms of friendships as you’ve gotten older? Did the friendships you thought would last over time end up that way? Absolutely. There are just some kinds of people I absolutely do not tolerate anymore. And no, not most. We just drifted apart with time, or given most of my closest friendships are/were online, they just fell off the face of the earth. What are you doing right now? This and re-watching John Wolfe play Bloodborne. Bloodborne is such a comfort series to me... somehow, ha ha. Yet another game I've never played but desperately want to. Where are you? In my bedroom, as always. When you get yelled at, do you yell back or let it go? Depending on who it is, I might yell back, but most likely cry, ha ha. I hate being yelled at, like a lot. Is the person you last texted single? That would be my mom, so yeah. I've hoped she'd find a partner forever... She, probably more than anyone I know, deserves love from the *right* guy. I worry a lot how lonely she may become whenever I move out. Are you easily scared by horror movies? Not at all. Are you friends with any of your ex boyfriend/girlfriends? Girt and Sara, yes. Are you lonely? Be honest. Very. What has made you happy today? It's too early for this. What has made you sad today? Nothing, really. Last thing eaten? I had leftover pancakes from yesterday. Are you wearing anything that’s not yours? No. Do you like to wear makeup? I mean it makes me feel prettier, sure, but the actual time investment doesn't feel worth it for me personally. Especially when you're not even that good with applying it. Have you ever attempted to write a story or novel? Many times when I was younger. Would you rather have perfect hair or perfect skin? Perfect skin. I hate my skin, it has so many blemishes. What’s your middle name? Marie. How big is your bed? Queen. Do you drink? Only a bit for special occasions, really. I'll have a daiquiri on your average day every once and a blue moon. Would you fall apart if that last person you kissed walked out of your life? That's an understatement. Do you prefer pasta, salad, or coleslaw? Pasta. I hate coleslaw. Do you find smoking unattractive? Yes. Where’s the last place you went besides your house? The TMS office. Do you eat breakfast daily? Yes. Who were you with the last time you went to the movie theater? My dad. Do you like your cell phone? No, but it gets the job done. I just wish I had a phone with a good camera. Has anyone ever sang to you? Yes. So, what if you married the last person you kissed? That's the dream, but I acknowledge and accept it just might not work out like that. Do you usually answer your texts? Almost always. Have you ever changed clothes in a vehicle? Yes. Who has seen you cry the most? My mom, for sure. Have you ever just laid down outside and stared at the stars? Yeah, Jason and I did that one night on the trampoline. Have your friends ever randomly stopped by your house? In the past, yes. Think to the last person you kissed; have you ever kissed them on the ground? No. Do you have a condom in your room? No, got no use for one. Do your siblings ever pay for stuff for you? Yes. What brand is your digital camera? Canon. Do you own expensive perfume/cologne? No; I really don't get the point. When was the last time you went tanning? Ew, never. I find NO appeal in just lying in the boiling sun. Do you like the smell of fresh cut grass? No, I hate it. Do you get embarrassed easily? Like you would not fucking believe. It's one of the things I hate most about myself, because I'm embarrassed about everything I like and what makes me me. Has anyone ever thrown you a surprise party? No. Do you always wear your seatbelt? Absolutely. You couldn't pay me not to. Do you sing in the shower? No. Have you ever been called a slut/whore/something along those lines? Only playfully among friends. Have you ever stood up for someone you hardly/didn't even know? Yes. Have you ever fallen in love with a really good friend of yours? Yes. Do you own a blacklight? No. Do you like fruit better than vegetables? Definitely. Have your friends met the last person you kissed? Of my current friends, only Girt has. If you’re straight, have you ever thought about kissing the same sex? If you’re gay, have you ever thought about kissing the opposite sex? I'm bisexual, soooo. What does your laugh sound like? Do you have a loud laugh or a quiet laugh? Bro my laugh is so fucking loud and obnoxious. Is there a reality TV show you would consider taking part in? No.

So, about certified theater nerd Duane; does he have opinions(tm) on how to Properly Portray Ssael, or is he more of a live and let live kinda guy?
-- You’ll see in a few pages, but Duane’s always done his best to portray Ssael as unspeakably Cool. He has to have a Cool walk and cast his spells with Super Cool flourishes, and approach all situations with Cool detachment. Duane tries to make his Ssael into the kind of dude Duane wishes he himself was.

saw cats yesterday here is my review:
- rebel wilson zips off her skin. twice.
- as someone who literally does not care about sex I've never felt less horny in my life. I felt negative horny watching that movie
- at the end of the movie cat judi dench looked directly into my eyes and gave me a death threat but I couldn't tell you what it was for
- it was so fucking incomprehensible I don't know a single thing that anyone said
- could not give you any opinions on the singing because it was in that terrible place between bad and good that belongs to broadway songs adjusted so that people who aren't broadway actors can sing them
- they whitewashed a cat??? THEY WHITEWASHED A CAT
- they don't even ease you into the fever dream it seems fine for like two minutes and then as soon as the first cat appears on screen you're like WHAT THE FUCK and that feeling never stops
- cannot stress things enough but the cats had fucking human hands
- there are only like four scenes in the entire movie that are relevant to the disaster that can barely pass as a plot and everything else just goddamn happens
- in the moment when you're watching the movie some of the names the cats have don't have that much of an impact and then you leave the movie theater and realized there was a cat named fucking skimbleshanks
- literally any time any of the cats looked at each other it was so horny like So fucking horny
- at one point in the beginning a small child sitting in the front of the theater yelled "those are people!" and like. yeah.
- why do the cats. move... like That
- before I saw the movie I was like oh man I really do not what to see the original production but now I have to. I have to know how there is a version of whatever that fucking was that is even a little less of a fucking nightmare like I physically cannot imagine anything adjacent to that movie that would make any sense at all
- felt every possible human emotion all at once during the entire film but the pure fear and confusion that it elicited is what really stuck
- nothing about anything is explained ever
- the entire movie all the characters are just teleporting around both in a confusing never explained magical way and in a hey why the fuck does the set keep changing way and I must say it's very disorienting
- I shit you not not a single one of the characters had an understandable or well rounded arc
- sir ian mckellen was there??? every time his character did anything something in my heart sadly whispered "ian..." and 8 times out of 10 so did my mouth
- the cockroaches oh my fucking god the cockroaches
- the cats? changed size?? throughout the movie??? the entire time they are Disturbingly small but How small they are seemed to fluctuate at random
- some of the cats were wearing fucking sneakers and I fucking LOST it any time I witnessed this
- theres this one goddamn scene where all the cats begin to dance and holy shit it's so horny in a way that was explicitly but very much not explicitly sexual and I can't believe that I had to witness it with other people
- some of the instrumentals were incredibly disturbing on like. a Visceral level
- never felt closer to a room full of people in my entire life then I did in that movie theater filled entirely with people who were only there to lose their fucking minds
- there was so much chanting?? why is nobody talking about the mass numbers of horrifying chanting cats
- the entire time I was Waiting For Something To Happen tm because of the pure erotic energy throughout the whole film and the fact that nothing ever does actually happen is somehow worse because for an hour and 49 minutes you just sit there in terrified anticipation
- some of the cats had clothes. some did not. idris elba took off his big coat and was so much more naked than any of the cats not wearing clothing
- it was like rocky horror in the way that it was so fucking confusing, everyone in the theater was there to make fun of it, and there was just so much pure erotic tension between every single character But it wasn't campy in the fun and sexy way it was campy in the 'cishet white people trying to blindly copy a subculture they're not part of' way
- it just... Happened to me. like it didn't feel like I went to go see a movie it was something that was done to me
#ok to rb#god I'm sure I'm forgetting SOMETHING but wow did that happen to me and my dear friend tovah#ben talks#cats 2019

THE PRICE OF MAGIC // MASTERPOST
Thought it was time to put all of the tpom links, tags, and worldbuilding tidbits in one place! This wip is my main project and contains just about every ounce of creative energy I can muster.
GENRE - ya urban fantasy, lgbt+, humor
STATUS - third draft in progress
SETTING - magic university, present day
FEATURING - a sacrifice based magic system / magic doorways and secret passageways / an emphasis upon platonic love / an overuse of the word fuck / a complete lack of cishet characters because I’m gay and I said so
SYNOPSIS -
Inna relies on Alice for magic. They're casting partners: a symbol of absolute trust, a bond that cannot be broken. When Alice wakes up with no memory of Inna or the world around her, Inna will stop at nothing to find out what happened to the person she cares about most-- even if that absolute trust is suddenly one-sided.
Addison knows that no one actually believes in "universal givers," those that can give magic to anyone and aren't restricted to their casting partner, and that's the only reason he's still alive. But when people like him start mysteriously disappearing, Addison knows he's in danger yet doesn't have a clue who he can go to for help.
// Worldbuilding details, character bios, and links under the cut. //
MAGIC SYSTEM -
Magic demands a price from everyone. The larger the sacrifice, the larger the portion of energy given. But here's the catch: those who make the sacrifice are not those who receive the energy. Magic can only be given.
DEFINITIONS -
casting partner (colloq. "right ring"); irreversible bond that allows the transfer of magic energy between the individuals, often signified by a ring on the right ring finger.
sacrifice (sometimes "magic sacrifice" or "gift"); quite literally the "price" of magic, varies by individual. inherited from either biological parent. common examples include blood, money, sleep. sacrifices can be passive or active.
active sacrifice; requires direct action on the sacrificer’s part. example: money. to sacrifice you must discard/destroy your own funds.
passive sacrifice; requires only intention by the sacrificer. example: memories. to sacrifice you must purposefully and willfully offer up the memory you are willing to lose and it will be taken from you.
universal giver; mythical individuals who are able to gift magic to any other individual. (this differs from the norm, in which magic can only be gifted to a casting partner.)
CHARACTERS -
Inna (#c: inna) - she/her - aroace - [sacrifice redacted]
Alice (#c: alice) - she/her - bi - sacrifices memories

Addison (#c: addison) - he/him - bi - sacrifices his relationships (active)
Non-confrontational, scared of most things. Music student.
Seren (#c: seren) - they/them - bi - sacrifice unknown (orphan with no knowledge of their lineage)

Fruits Basket HCs
If you haven’t been able to tell from my blog, I REALLY love Fruits Basket. I have this immense love for these characters and I want to share the different headcanons that I have for each of these fantastic characters. I’m going to cover a lot of ground so I apologize if this becomes really long. To make this easier for myself this first part is just going to be my six favorite characters (Momiji, Tohru, Kyo, Kakeru, Hatori and Hatsuharu).
Momiji:
* The mental health side of things for Momiji is that in my non-professional medical opinion (to quote the original show) he has really high levels of ADHD. He learned to combat this by taking gymnastics lessons as a young boy while everyone else was doing karate he was learning to be bouncing ball.
*This one is a pretty much canon one but I love this idea; Momiji is genderfluid. I love the idea of Momiji hanging around Ritsu and learning about fashion from them. I also just really love the idea of Momiji in a cute little skirt with shorts underneath (don’t judge me I just really love the idea of it.)
*Number one touchy friend!! He’s constantly a ball of energy and will hug and cling to all of his friends if they indulge him. He loves affection both giving it and receiving it.
*He is surprisingly a really good baker!! I love the idea of him making friendship cupcakes for Tohru after everything happened just to thank her for all her help (She wouldn’t accept them but offer to share them with him instead.)
*He learned violin from Ayame. I like to think that out of all the Sohma’s he is the most musically inclined. If you want to learn how to play an instrument go to Aya he’ll help you out fam.
*How he learned German and started using that as his main language was in elementary school right after what happened with his mom happened (I’m trying to keep this as non-spoilery as possible so that my friends can read this too). He wanted something that reminded him of her but wasn’t painful. So he decided to learn another language and Hatori helped him.
*He is probably one of the most likely to spoil his future children. He’ll give them the childhood that he was never technically given. If those children wanted something they were going to get it whether or not it was their birthday they want it. Plus he has the money to get them whatever they want!!
Tohru:
*So space cadet Tohru is canon and I am of the personal belief that a little bit of ADD which is why she always needs Yuki’s help with school. Most of these HCs are going to be a little bit mental health related mostly because that’s how I see them.
*If Tohru had the ability to go to college it would be to become a professional chef. She loves cooking for other people and making people happy. Professional chefs to me are the types of people that love to make others happy which is why she cooks for others.
*She is definitely the hug friend. What is the hug friend you may ask? It is a person that can give the best hugs. She is constantly getting hugs from Uo-chan and Hana-chan and to me she just seems the type that would give the best hugs in the entire world.
*She has always been interested in being in a relationship someday. When she was little she loved Disney movies and would fantasize about one day finding her own personal Prince Charming.
*At first in dating Kyo, Tohru gets flustered by EVERYTHING. This poor girl is always blushing around the love of her life.
*Her favorite subject in school will always be cooking but she is surprisingly good at history!! She loves learning about the past mostly because she is one of the few people that found it interesting.
*As a mom she is the most doting parent, the type that kids get embarrassed by at sleepovers.
Kyo:
*My first HC for our favorite cat boi is that he has autism. Hear me out, when I was in middle school I struggled immensely when it came to relating to people and understanding how they felt. I had undiagnosed aspergers at the time and found that he was one of the few characters that wanted to be better at dealing with his emotions and people. Having that relatability now that I’m older has been a huge help.
*The most surprising HC that I have about Kyo is that he loves to write. Usually it’s just little things that irritate him throughout the day. It’s how he learned to officially get his anger calmed down so that he wouldn’t yell anymore once Hajime and his kids were born.
*As a kid Kyo never had ice cream. It’s the same thing with the pancakes where he had never had sweets that wasn’t fruit. Tohru is appalled by this and one of their first dates was to get him to try ice cream (his favorite is mint chocolate chip)
*Growing up he was alone a lot but I think that he would find companionship in books and literature. I feel like he’d be really good at school like in the original where we see him pouring over books to study. (The best way to get him to do well is of course a little competition.)
*Kyo is a hella overprotective dad once his kids are born. This is obvious but if he has any daughters those future boyfriends, run just run.
*Once the curse is broken he is constantly trying to make up for the years where he wasn’t able to get physical affection. After he gets over his own flustered tsundere habits with Tohru they became easily the closest couple. He finds that he loves having his hair pet (if he purrs he’ll deny it until the end of time)
*I think that out of all my favorites Kyo would be the best listener. You got a problem, no matter how stupid it is, Kyo will do his damndest to help you out. That’s just who he is especially when it comes to those he loves.
Kakeru:
*Kakeru’s mental health theory is that he has ADHD just like Momiji combined with dyslexia so he sometimes has a hard time reading things and needs help understanding what exactly he’s looking at for homework.
*Him and Kimi always start prank wars that could go on FOREVER. If nobody stops them they can just go at each other for days. Eventually either Yuki or Machi will get too exhausted of their antics and force them to stop. These prank wars usually happen about once a month on the second week. They all fear this time of the month and whenever it happens it usually lasts for about three days.
*Definite anime lover this boi!! He grew up watching the classics and it’s just something that stuck with him.
*Before he became chaotic Kakeru TM he always hid this part of his personality but now that he’s older he is very open about his love for anime.
*He wasn’t close to Machi until after she was kicked out of the family house. Before then he was almost indifferent towards her existence but when that happened he realized that he wanted to make her feel better whether she wanted it or not.
*He is the best cuddler fight me on this. I feel like once you got him calmed down he would always be down for cuddling his S\O.
*This one is pretty common amongst the fandom judging by how many people ship him with Yuki but I think that he’s not bisexual he’s pansexual he just loves people!!
Hatori:
*I don’t have a mental health HC for Hatori really other than PTSD (which let’s face it almost all of this cast of characters has.)
*Before he met Kana he knew next to nothing about popular culture. His music taste was stuck in the 50′s and to her that was an absolute travesty!! Who hadn’t heard of Queen, Elton John or David Bowie?! She made it her goal to get him into modern things so that he could understand her. At the time he didn’t really understand a lot of the things that she liked. However, once she left him he learned to appreciate modern music and film.
*Something that I really love about Hatori is the thought that he would be a fan of musical theater. It’s something that not a whole lot of people know mainly Shigure and Ayame and Aya always gets him tickets when a show he likes comes to town.
*He can’t cook to save his life!! Literally the type of person that would somehow burn water and he doesn’t have the time to cook everyday but usually Momiji will bring him food that he makes.
*Definitely a romantic at heart no matter how much the idea of love has hurt him in the past. He loves making Mayu happy at random intervals. From buying her random bouquets of flowers to planning things on a larger scale he just loves making her happy.
*As a parent he’s the type to definitely be overprotective especially when they aren’t feeling well. His kid fainted at school? He’s already there trying to find out what went wrong and keep them at home with him for a few days until they get Dr. Tori’s clean bill of health.
*As much as he bitches and moans about Ayame and Shigure’s annoying tendencies he couldn’t ask for two better best friends. \
Hatsuharu:
*Mental health HC is that he’s bipolar thanks to the other dark personality even though most of the time he’s white it’s something that after everything happens Hatori insists he gets an official diagnosis of.
*He loves grunge rock. The first time he discovered Nirvana Kurt Cobain became his instant hero. Not a way to live his life but someone that he was inspired by. His second favorite band is All Time Low (I’ve never heard any of their stuff this one is for my best friend who is an absolute Haru-stan)
*He got his tattoo as his own way of rebelling against his family order. I think that his parents (we only really ever hear of his mom) being strict on him. That’s where the multiple piercings came from as well. Whenever he would hit a low point before middle school he would get a new one.
*He is actually a really good cook and entirely capable of taking care of himself since his parents are often too busy for him.
*He got into gaming by accidentally seeing Shigure playing a dating sim (Fight me on this one I dare you say that Shigure the pervy bastard doesn’t play these things)
*He is definitely the romantic type as we see him bringing Rin flowers to cheer her up. He might be a little bit stiff at first and awkward but once he gets used to the person you bet your ass he’ll just cling to you as we see with Yuki much to his everlasting annoyance.
*He’s an amazing artist!! He loves to draw just about anything that he can get his hands on. It’s something that he does now when he hits a low point instead of wrecking things he learned the proper way of coping with his problems.
Whew!! Sorry about the length on this guy but I really wanted to do this while waiting for the dub to catch up. I will make more if people want more of them!!
