• this couple is the absolute cutest, two goddess queens both learning they have feelings for each other

• Pandora grew up with an evil family and felt she should be kind, she sees kindness as her only real superpower, not being psychic . Pandora being proud of lily for seeing the good in not only the people around her but herself

• Lily grew up judged for her blood type, sometimes she still does worry if she's being judged but Pandora quickly likes to help her see the light, that she doesn't see lily any different

• Pandora loves to talk and gush about lily to regulus while lily loves to talk and gush about Pandora to Benjamin (me) (speaking in first person so I feel like a character and therefore apart of the marauders lol)

2) Dorcas Meadowes x Marlene McKinnon

• started out as academic rivals despite both being in Slytherin

• while Dorcas checks the collar of the dragon, she notices the locket open and inside a diamond ring. when she turns around, Marlene is on one knee with arms spread open

3) Mary Macdonalds x Evan Rosier

• they meet in the library while Mary is reading a novel and Evan is selling cocaine to a customer, he realizes she saw and approaches her, attempting to suave her into not telling "Romeo and Juliet huh?" he asks, Mary raises an eyebrow "this is Macbeth." she replies making him freeze up, she smiles "don't worry, I won't tell", he smiles back "cool"

• he tries to get her to try drugs a little but she refuses with a burning passion, after a few months go by he stops taking drugs cause he wants to be better for her

• after mary gets dumped by yet another boyfriend, she feels undesirable and goes to evan to find solace. Evan listens to her every word with a burning sensation in his chest, he comforts her up close, rubbing her back.

"I want to be someone's first choice, Evan"

"....you are mary." he whispers, she frowns

"no no- I know what you mean. I'm not his first choice." she says, Evan frowns

"you're someone's first choice," he replies, but he's not brave enough to say "you're my first choice"

• after a few months together, she's reading a romantic novel to him and gushing, talking about fanfiction and he just listens with a smile on his face. "and then he lifts her chin up and kisses her!! ahh! so romantic!" she squeals and Evan smiles before it fades, before he can rethink, he's lifting her chin up, getting close and pressing his lips to hers. they separate after awhile and he notices her wide eyes, he smiles sheepishly

4) Sirius Black x James Potter

• the definition of ultimate bromance

• started off with them making fun and teasing other couples, even going as far as kissing and hugging each other, but both secretly start to like it

• they're best friends to lovers, Sirius enjoys Remus company sure but no one quite understands his chaotic-ness like James does, a lover and a best friend is the best you can get right?

• they're running down the halls after pranking Severus Snape again before they see professor McGonagall walking straight down the hallway, they panic and hide in a small secluded area trying not to breath each other's air

• "well, it seems we've found each other in a tight situation" James replies with a grin making Sirius grin back "good one James" he retorts playfully

• they stay there for awhile and notice McGonagall is gone, but both seemed to like...being up close. they wouldn't tell each other that though

• extreme slow burn, Sirius isn't the one with internal homophobia. anything his parents is against, he fully supports so gay rights is his middle name. James is the one who has to deal with the conflict, he's undoubtedly sure his parents will support him but he still struggles

• I also feel like they're the same but in different fonts lol, like they'll look at a situation and think "should we?" and the other is like "definitely"

5) Remus lupin x Barty Crouch Jr

• they're damn chaotic. barty regularly tries to set a building on fire and Remus is behind him 'trying' to stop him but secretly adds more gasoline

• they bring out each other's worse in the best way that you can't help but see the appeal

• definition of "partners in crime" except the crime is getting James to admit his feelings to Sirius but he is in EXTREME denial

• Barty growing up in a household similar to an orphanage, too many kids around and the only way he felt noticed was by being a little gremlin

• Remus who actually grew up in orphanage but did the same although soon realizes those people weren't his parents and stopped trying to get their attention or approval

• both understand each other in a deeper way

• they also have nasty sex LMAO

• they're both tall, semi strong and extremely dominant. if your dorm is across from them, and you hear screams of agony and things crashing into the walls, don't worry they're just making love <3

Jily? Nah mate. Lily is my second best friend in the entire world, and I adore her more than anything, but her and Pandora have got some mad vibes.

Peter Pettigrew? Random ass Hufflepuff (nothing against Hufflepuffs we just don’t hang with many is all). I heard he got in an accident in third year with a mandrake root and is 80% deaf in one ear.

Wolfstar? Nah mate, Remus is mine. Sirius has no scripted partner, I’m letting him figure that bit out.

Voldemort? He picked a fight with the wrong werewolf. Yeah, his ideologies didn’t make it very far.

Regulus and Sirius’ parents? Cool new addition to the curriculum, bogarts are mandatory for first years in the first three months of school, and if the student’s biggest fear is their legal guardian, they’re removed from the home! My parents took in those two and Reggie is the sweetest boi ever, I do not care about your canon compliance my boi is soft and couldn’t hurt a soul.

Animagi being illegal? Nah, no registry necessary, no criminal charges. Would the ministry like to know? Sure, just so they can be careful, but it’s not a legal requirement. Some are even born (like me!), but if you’re not born one, it’s hard to become one.

House elves? Paid. A yearly stipend similar to that of Hogwarts professors (who also get paid well, otherwise Minerva would have quit already), anything below £50,000 is criminal and punishable by fines equal to that of whatever the house elf’s pay was docked.

There are two wolves inside me:

One wants to experience EVERYTHING in my marauders dr with the rest of them for the first time. For example, getting my wand, going to all the shops in diagon alley, meeting the marauders + the girls, seeing hogwarts for the first time, going over the black lake in the boats, exploring hogwarts, going to classes etc.

And the other doesn’t want to be fucking 11 again 🤮

My CX-2/CX-Tech contemplation ahead of 3.12 & beyond:

(i.e. fuck it, as others' hopes dwindle as we count down to the finale, Poe is doubling down)

(i.e. enjoy myriad ramblings that are somewhere between 'this is how I'd do it' and the perils of watching with confirmation bias/Winter Soldier-lover glasses on LOL)

the tl;dr is: ignoring things like "domicile" and whatnot - compare CX-2's behavior and attitude and ruthlessness at various stages: 1) upon arrival on Teth 2) after getting knocked into the wall and buried under all the rocks 3) the escalating rage while fighting Crosshair culminating in the nearly drowning him/possibly pausing/getting stunned and falling and 4) getting to and while on Pabu.

I think it's really interesting how the same operative who went "rogue" (twice), who recklessly endangered his target by shooting down her ship and firing chaotically into the group she was with, is so precise and controlled on Pabu.

I think it's really interesting how Scorch tells him to "eliminate" the others if they get in the way and the operative who killed most of Rex's cell on Teth conveniently manages to "neutralize" 2/3 of them without killing them (creative but "technical" interpretation of orders?). Somewhat notably perhaps, his orders upon activation to Teth are to "neutralize" the compromised operative, the intent to kill him before he can talk is not ambiguous. Cannot imagine he's under any delusions that Hunter & Wrecker are definitively dead at the time he reports them "neutralized."

I think it's really interesting how he places the final explosive on the Marauder right on the wing by the ramp where it might be noticed when he surely just needed to blow the engine. I think it's interesting that we've seen what a precise shot can do to ground a ship but the operative chooses instead to loudly announce what's coming.

I think it's really interesting how there were presumably three potential targets when the gunship was compromised - the pilot, the ship itself, and Hunter - and the operative went for what had to be the trickiest shot (through the window!) that took out his own guy and left Hunter alone in the water to make his way back to shore.

I think it's really interesting how he gets tunnel-vision feral on Crosshair in Extraction, that shit got personal, and doesn't react to having him right in his sights in Point of No Return. (I also think it's interesting that he's got some sort of facial recognition thing going on in ep11 but I don't know what to make of that). I think it's interesting that the thing that dooms them to losing Omega - being separated, where no one has any backup - is also the thing that saves the boys from going down in a final desperate stand to protect her and saves Pabu from being caught in the crossfire.

I think it's interesting that aside from the docks, we don't see Pabu meet the fate we all feared and he doesn't give the go-ahead to light it up until he's maneuvered them into a position where surrender is the only choice Omega will see left to her.

(if we find out in 3.12 that the stormtroopers razed Pabu before departing um... ignore this point/possibly this whole manifesto? lol)

I think it's interesting that the operative had no update for Hemlock until Hemlock called with his impatient/Disappointed-in-you voice and then had enough of an update to get him off his back. (also I really wish we had any gauge of the time lapse between any of these episodes) (Am curious about the allusion to Cid and "pulling" intel though that's dark implications lol; but makes for a curious juxtaposition against the careful way he approaches/avoids Phee on screen; which makes for a curious juxtaposition against the gives-no-fucks about collateral damage on Teth).

I think it's interesting that episode 3 is called Shadows of Tantiss and it's the first time (I think?) we see one of, as Rex&co call them, the "shadows" on Tantiss even though it's almost a parallel shot to the two glimpses Omega gets of Crosshair in the corridors during ep1. We're getting a very slow drawn-out reveal on the program, from the glimpses of Crosshair & co in ep1 to the shadow in ep 3 to the ruthlessness of the program in 6&7 to finally getting a glimpse of the lab in 10. What happens to CX-2 after he delivers Omega?

The ep titles this season are clever. The Return - to Pabu, to Barton IV, to the squad. Harbinger - hints of the mystery surrounding Omega, hints to what's coming for Pabu. Identity Crisis - Emerie but also the crisis of being identified as Force-sensitive.

Anyway, I think how you pull off a CX-Tech plot this late in the game is that every episode he's in (or whatever shadow we see in 3.3), the title is also about him. Infiltration makes sense; but Extraction... what is that pause, as Crosshair is about to drown?

What if this below is the extraction? From the river, from the prison his mind has been locked in? (shoutout once more to the (maybe twitter?) post I can not find (sorry!) comparing his slumping over on the river bank to the way Crosshair collapses after ordering the engines turned off on Bracca/probably the beginnings of the end for the chip)

The way he works with the reinforcements on Pabu vs the way he did not on Teth, at all - I think something started going haywire after the quick succession of 1) the explosion 2) getting thrown against the wall and 3) getting buried under the rocks. He then gets a tiny bit blown up again by Crosshair in the stairway, and then tumbles off a smaller waterfall before we see the absolute feral rage at Crosshair and "you had your chance/chose the wrong side."

All of this to say -

The way you pull off CX-Tech this late in the game is that he doesn't need freed from his conditioning anymore, he's already broken all or mostly free after all the getting blown up and being stunned and tumbling down a giant waterfall and almost drowning his brother; he just needs freed from Hemlock and his bio trackers and surveillance and whatever the hell else is keeping him trapped.

The way you pull off CX-Tech this late in the game is that he's now playing a game against himself, both working for Hemlock and figuring out how to take down Tantiss. (Tragic consideration here: operative can't bring a tracker back in Omega's pocket, but knowing/anticipating Crosshair, potentially was expecting/counting on a tracker making it onto the ship) (Though this hypothetical setback also sets up the crucial role we might now expect Emerie to fill in somehow enabling a rescue effort)

The way you pull off CX-Tech this late in the game is by building towards what's actually a sort of mirror of the buildup to Return to Kamino - you follow orders and capture the piece that will bring the cavalry to the rescue - of the clones and the children, not just Omega.

And then you make an epic trick shot and take off the mask and fuck up Hemlock's whole day. (Poor dude just wanted to be made Science Minister)

"Why have I been activated" remains such a curious introduction of this guy. Made all the more curious by Hemlock lamenting that he's got no other operatives ready to deploy. Maybe... this one wasn't quite fully cooked yet either.

(Side conspiracy theory: Crosshair knows it's him but thinks he's past saving.)

marauders!au where the war never happened and they all got to go on and live happy lives :) its set years later, when Harry, Ron, Neville, Luna and Hermione are going into their first year.

I haven’t come up with an actual plot yet :/ but this is the setting, and they are all around their early-to-mid-thirties at this point. it's likely just domestic fluff and slice-of-life type shit, with Harry still getting into impossible amounts of fuckery whilst stressing at least 10 different adults (as he should tbh)

i can't decide whether this is set in the 90s or in the modern!era so i left it ambiguous

Barty Crouch Jr, now Professor Barty (just Barty, Crouch is my father), teaches DADA and his fiancé, Evan Rosier, is a Magizoologist who travels during the school year, comes back home for the holidays and weekends to spend with Barty, either on Hogwarts grounds or at their own home. Barty has a close friendship with McGonagall, who is Headmistress, and Poppy (who are married, but no one figured it out).

Dorcas and Marlene play International-Level Quidditch: Dorcas for England, and Marlene for Wales or Ireland (undecided). Everyone thinks they hate each other from the way they treat each other during games. They played for the Holyhead Harpies until they got recruited, and their wedding was basically the biggest, most dramatic and over-the-top graduation party Hogwarts had ever seen, hosted in the Potter Manor. everyone was hungover for days afterwards

Lily and Snape are best-friends-turned-rivals, who achieved a Mastery in Potions at the same time, and are both the youngest people to ever do so. Sev specialises in theoretical potions, and Lily specialises in experimental work, altering old potions and creating new ones. She commandeered the entire basement for her own potions lab, and Remus helps her research in his spare time.

Pandora started publishing with Xenophillius (the definition of gender-fuckery; no-one knows how they identify, not even Xeno), and they publish the most outlandish work they can, alongside Pandora’s books!! They also run Xeno's Quibbler and a couple other independent newspapers. They live out in the countryside w/ Luna. Barty & Evan are their only walking-distance neighbours, but they floo to their friends houses semi-regularly

MaryLily and StarChaser are co-parenting Harry, and being godparents/family friends of Draco, Blaise Zabini, Ron, Neville and Luna. When Harry is at pre-school, he makes friends with Hermione, and the four of them introduce Dr and Dr Granger to the magical world over the years, instead of the two month crash-course Hogwarts gives

Mary is an artist, and since she was raised half-blood, absolutely adores the technique and process of muggle painting, later enchanting it to move and learn and talk. She doesn't own anything that isn't stained with paint, bleach or hair dye. She is famous for her work, in Magical and Muggle circles, but is almost completely anonymous, and they only know what she looks like because of a group portrait she painted

Regulus is an independent researcher of old Pagan traditions and 'Muggle' magic, how different solstices and days (like All Hallows Eve) affect the Magical community, etc. He visits Barty at Hogwarts with Harry every few weeks, and later with Hermione as well, so they grew up learning about the secrets at Hogwarts, in the library, and with the teachers. Also friendly house rivalry, and the adults completely split on which houses they will go into at Hogwarts. Evan started a betting pool.

James and Sirius are the wizarding private investigators. They work everywhere, for everyone (no matter what. they don't need to charge more than what people can afford), and love it. James absolutely adores the 'Sherlock Holmes' vibes, but they are both Sherlock Holmes b/c they are simply too baddass not to be!

Remus opened a bookstore-cafe, and him and Sirius live in the flat above it. It’s really popular and became the place for students and young queer people. The bookstore stocks everything from really popular and really unknown books and authors of every genre. The regulars also notice all these really famous but really mysterious friends of Remus who come-and-go (artist!mary, author!pandora, athletes!dorlene, etc). And then, of course, is the “private” investigator boyfriend, who couldn’t be less subtle at anything if he tried.

Alice is still an Auror, and the Best of the Best, but she is so fucking fed up of the politics, DMLE, and Ministry in general. She is starting a revolution/reformation from the inside- and if that doesn’t work, quit her job and do the same thing from the outside! Frank ended up in law and becoming a Lawyer, and is glad he did, because it might be the only thing that will keep his partner out of jail if she decides to commit treason. They love Neville to bits, and would do anything for him!! They built a whole-ass greenhouse when he discovered his talent.

Peter Pettigrew works part-time with Remus at his place, but is currently training with Gringotts/other cursebreakers to become a professional cursebreaker! it is taking a long ass time with a lot of testing and work to put in, but Peter finds it interesting and it meant that he always has more stories to tell the kids when he sees them, which is a bonus because children are hard to entertain.

Speaking of James, what do you think of him in the prequel + Lily’s letter? She mentioned him not having the chance to go on excursions without the cloak, despite them being in hiding.

I've been thinking about this question and funnily enough it came up in another post where I had a fun back and forth with @seriousbrat! I should probably preface my answer by saying that I haven't put that much thought into James or Lily in general, and I don't really spend time in the parts of the fandom that discuss them at length, so my thoughts are based on a cursory revisiting of the text. Some of what I say may be basic stuff for the Jily/Marauders/¯\_(ツ)_/¯ parts of the fandom, some of it may be stuff that has already been counter argued with points I haven't thought of, etc. This isn't my area of interest, but your question is interesting! Tl;dr proceed with caution I guess lol.

The first thing that comes to mind about the letter from Lily to Sirius is why she wrote it in the first place. My own reading of it is that it's meant to be exposition more than something that has to do with a thought out relationship between these characters. Like many others, I'm frustrated with the minimal and flat way Lily is written. We get very few insights into who she was, most of them through descriptions from other characters like Slughorn. To me it's clear that Rowling held back on her for the sake of the big reveal at the end of DH, and I think a lot of Lily's character development got thrown under the bus as a result. But it could also just be that Lily is writing a thank you to Sirius for Harry's birthday present and it was the only time she ever sent him anything, but in the process she's giving him an update since they know each other as well as anyone knows their spouse's best friend.

In her letter she writes:

James is getting a bit frustrated shut up here, he tries not to show it but I can tell - also, Dumbledore’s still got his Invisibility Cloak, so no chance of little excursions. If you could visit, it would cheer him up so much.

Deathly Hallows Ch. 10

Lily is showing a lot of sympathy for James here, while also acknowledging that if he had his Invisibility Cloak he would probably be sneaking out under it. I know that this implication is contentious across fandoms, and my own thoughts on it are: it falls within James' character to do something like that and be reckless, but while I think it's irresponsible and shitty, I also don't think he's satan incarnate for it, by any means. To me it - and how young James tends to be written - shows that he's an immature guy in a war where he spends most of his time shut up in a comfortable house instead of fighting (ie. his ideals aren't tested or challenged by trauma), and the first chance he gets to do something brave he forgets his wand on the couch and is immediately killed. I think James had very good intentions but kind of bad follow through.

In her letter, Lily is also asking Sirius to come visit to cheer James up, which I find strange, given the two men are such close friends. Why should Lily have to ask Sirius to visit? Are he and James not in touch? Or is Lily being thoughtful and identifying James needs and trying to meet them when he hasn't done so himself? Again, I think this letter is more about exposition, so I don't think there's any significant meaning here, just that the author was a bit careless. Lily then goes on to say:

Wormy was here last weekend, I thought he seemed down, but that was probably the news about the McKinnons; I cried all evening when I heard.

For me there's a conspicuous absence of any note referring to what a comfort James was. I talked about this in my other ask, but I think a lot of James, and as an extension his relationship with Lily, is the author's projection of her own experience in an abusive relationship and what she wishes it had been. That isn't to say I think James abused Lily, but rather that Rowling transferred some of her abusive husband's qualities onto James, while also projecting a fantasy of what she wished he had been onto the character too, ie. a devoted, loving father onto him who would - and did - die for his family. A lot of James' actions, mannerisms, and words - his arrogance, dismissiveness, and enjoyment of cruelty towards select people he has dehumanized - raises my own red flags as an abuse survivor. While I think he was a bully at school - and bullying is a form of abuse - I don't think he was abusive to his wife or child. I could draw a parallel with the phenomenon of the prison guard who enacts cruelty on his charges freely and then goes home and is a loving, doting husband and father who wouldn't hurt a fly, because he only abuses those he dehumanizes. Instead, though, what I think is going on is that Rowling is projecting a lot of her first husband onto James, and unconsciously and unintentionally leaving a trail of abuser red flags written into his character.

It hits hard for me that Lily is concerned enough about James, and empathetic enough of him, that she shares her worry about his frustration and cabin fever with his best friend, and asks him to come visit, because she wants to cheer James up - yet she makes no mention of James being a comfort to her when she spends all night crying about her friend being murdered. In short, Lily is identifying and attending to James' needs but we see no indication that this is reciprocated. It doesn't feel out of line for an abuse victim to describe a relationship like this, especially since it would be so simple to have added something like, "as difficult as it is being shut up in this cottage, it was a great comfort to have James that night."

It's odd to me that someone thoughtful enough to attend to their spouse's emotional needs would forgo expression appreciation for them doing the same, so my reading of this is that James doesn't provide Lily with the same kind of comfort. More importantly, it doesn't seem to be on Rowling's radar to mention how James reacted to his wife outright crying for a whole evening, which tracks with how a lot of abuse victims understand relationships, ie. it often doesn't occur to them that they should be reciprocal. And so, Rowling forgets to add in the bit where James offers Lily comfort, perhaps because it was something she lacked experience of and therefore didn't think to write. And while I feel the need to include the requisite statement of "fuck JKR and her transphobic, bigoted views" I also feel that despite that, I won't sink to her level and dehumanize others, and therefore feel it's still important to balance that view with sympathy for her experiences as an abuse victim.

As for the prequel, the implication seems to be that two muggle cops got in the middle of James and Sirius escaping from some Death Eaters. It's a fun little piece but also reveals that Rowling really benefits from having an editor, because the prose is overwrought and a bit clumsy. In terms of what it says about James' and Sirius' character, they don't seem at all concerned with violating the Statute of Secrecy in front of muggles, or with protecting those muggles from the three wizards who are presumably Death Eaters. James and Sirius were described by Rowling as "bad boys" and she talked about how this was something sexy that all women loved in men (which I find problematic for a number of reasons), however she doesn't seem to differentiate between youthful rebelliousness and selfish destructiveness. It's something Lupin talks about in PoA when he reflects on their youthful adventures. In any case, James and Sirius weren't rebellious - not in their bullying at school, not in their animagi nights, and not in the prequel. They weren't challenging an unfair authority or status quo, but instead were pursuing their own fun for fun's sake, and other people often get hurt, or come dangerously close to it.

In the prequel they leave the cops vulnerable and without defense with the three DEs who are knocked out and might be back on their feet any minute. Given that Death Eaters torture muggles for sport in canon, this seems like a careless and callous move. I also feel like the Phoenix shirts are a bit cheesy... Dumbledore would never? Is the idea that James and Sirius made the shirts themselves? Or is this just another clumsy literary device that exists for the sake of exposition but doesn't fit the characters all that well? I feel like if the Order did have some kind of gear with their emblem on it, it would be more subtle and also a bit more refined than a t-shirt. The idea of these besties wearing matching shirts is cute, it just feels out of character.

I'm not sure if this was the parallel you meant to draw or were asking about, but as to whether the prequel story takes place while James and Lily are in hiding, I don't think it does. James and Sirius are described as looking like they're in their "late teens" and this seems to be a pretty clear indication from the author that this is the age they're at. James and Lily are killed when they're 21, and they'd been in hiding for about a year according to @said-snape-softly's calcutations in this amazing post (though I need to adjust the timeline a bit because @saintsenara had some great thoughts too in this other post). So even if it was just a year or six months in between, I think the prequel story is set before James and Lily go into hiding.

alright, so similar as in my golden trio dr, im the same person i am in my cr (like name, family, looks) plus the whole witch thing. i am also part of ravenclaw and a muggleborn. my s/o is james potter and i did kinda script out voldemort bcs we dont want that. james and i have the friends to lovers slowburn angsty arc and im not quite sure if i should script im related to lily / my last name is also evans bcs hear me out, someone asks james who he has a crush on and he just says evans and people start assuming its lily but its me and so he goes with it bcs he doesnt wanna ruin our friendship. so yeah. thats gonna happen now bcs now that i wrote it out loud i love it. i again dont play quidditch bcs scared of heights and stuff haha soo idk yet if ill do any sport (is there another sport?). i also wanna be an animagus but idk yet what form bcs i like the 'soulmates have the same form' headcanon but i also wanna be a cat. soo yeah. idk. ideas would be great. i scripted that i can be in the gryffindor common room / i never get caught doing it (idk if its actually forbidden or not tbh but id say yes) and im kinda the typical nerdy good smart girl soo i can pull of shit and teachers dont suspect me so i get away with it haha. james thinks its unfair. i also scripted in this one fanfic i once read and keep rereading bcs its so good (its a german translation and i cant find the original one sadly) and its basically the marauders finding a magical book with fanfiction about them inside it. its hilarious soo yeah i put that in it was like the first thing i put. i have two sisters but both of them are muggles. after hogwarts idk yet what i wanna do, maybe become a healer (no but fr what can you do except work in the ministerium, teacher, healer, journalist, or open a store or smth? jobs are limited in the wizarding world imo) or an auror (thats what you can do lmao but it kinda falls into ministerium i guess?). i dont have a pinterest thing for this dr yet but i imagine my aesthetic is kinda light academia / dark academia (idk the difference but i like both) and yeah. from the 3rd year on i do arithmancy, runes and care of magical creatures. i also do apparition classes in year 7.

Anyway I checked and I haven’t talked about it, I only shortly did in my insta stories, so let’s do this.

I was doing a trip to the mountains with my family in my void reality (cr) and I desperately wanted to experience it with the marauders too, so I started acting as if I was there with the marauders instead. And after being delusional I woke up there like only a day or two after.

It was the morning day before my birthday and I asked the marauders to go to my house in the mountains to celebrate and have a small vacation together. They agreed right away, wanting to skip school so bad, so we just took James’ car after preparing some stuff (we did this so fast we forgot so many things, like both Peter and James forgot their toothbrush lol so we had to buy them there).

Remus was driving and we fly for like a hour. It was a little chaotic from the start. James kept putting cringy indie italian music (se sei italiano sappi che James stava mettendo solo i Pinguini tattici nucleari) and singing out loud while dancing and just moving A LOT, like he couldn’t stay still for not even a minute. Sirius was talking a lot about everyone, not really in a gossip-y way but more like “i just wanna talk about literally everyone because i’m bored” so we had this long ass chat about all of our classmates and also teachers, he let it all out tbh. Peter was asking some questions from time to time both to Sirius and I if he was interested, but he was mostly chill. Remus did not make ANY noise and was just focused on the direction, he would just shush James from time to time whenever he would cross the line and like scream the lyrics.

Nothing much happened when we arrived beside having lunch and walking around the place. It was very chill actually, it’s a pretty quiet place there so despite James being noisy from time to time it was very comforting and calm overall. We did play a lot of board games (especially at night) like pictionary, mimes and cluedo, and we were so caught up in the game that I didn’t even realise we were making lots of noise so the neighbours knocked on the door and called us out lol.

When we had to go to sleep the first night I had to go with Sirius in one room at the first floor, while James was with Peter in the other one next to us, and Remus was alone on the couch-bed at the second floor. I wanted to use Sirius’ snoring as an excuse to share the couch with Remus ahem but I didn’t want to be desperate so I just kept it to myself.

BUT. BUT. the second night, we bought some beer and it didn’t end up well. With this I mean I got almost drunk cause I have zero tolerance (both in my cr and dr lol it’s pretty embarrassing ngl) but I mean they were too, at least a little tipsy, so I was not fully alone in that. AND. I kept saying that I didn’t want to sleep with Sirius cause he snores so much but I was obviously lying, so I sat on the couch that was fully open into a bed already and I got comfy while they were still talking. Then, I deadass faked that I fell asleep there, hoping that my plan would succeed. And it fucking did.

As I kept my eyes closed I heard them talking about how they were going to sleep since I fell asleep there, and then Sirius got close to my face and asked if I was really asleep (he’s my twin brother i meannnn he just knows everything so he probably figured i was faking) and I remember I told him something like “please help me stay with remus tonight” 😭 this is so embarrassing i’m sorry. So he just told everyone that I was asleep but he didn’t want to share the bed with Remus so this man replied “I could sleep here with Enea” (which is me) AAAAABWEBEB I DIED RIGHT THERE.

Then they all went to sleep. I heard Remus changing next to the couch and then slipping in the covers, not saying a single word (probably because he thought I was asleep, yk, I was a very good actor) and then he just went to sleep as I started to hear his deep breathing after some minutes since he falls asleep so easily. I wanted to do something but I fell asleep like a dumb bitch lol.

But THEN I woke up in the middle of the night and I opened my eyes and, deadass, started staring at him. It was dark but not fully as the windows were open and there was some light outside. He was so beautiful fuck, so pretty I swear. And I got closer. I was staring at him for some minutes till I got some courage (yea sure) and asked if he was asleep. I was very confident just because I was sure he wouldn’t reply buT he did, saying like, “yes I am sleeping, why aren’t you?” and I wanted to act nonchalantly but failed and just told him I wasn’t sleepy. Then he didn’t reply, he just turned over and looked at me. My heart was beating so fast I was like a little girl (I’m a grown ass man) but I didn’t say anything. And lol, he said “you can kiss me if you want” WHATTT. so yea, we kissed. for the second time. and it wassss,, it was cool I mean (my stomach is making flips ah ah ah shut up). And then he made me sleep closer to him, but nothing else happened. In the morning we acted like nothing and didn’t talk about it just like the first time we kissed lol, idk what this means, I’m having so many thoughts about this and not all of them are positive :).

Anyway the rest of the trip was very cool. We stayed for only two nights but it was very fun yet chill. And very relaxing too. It was awesome to skip some school days and just be with them and not think about responsibilities lol.

Some things that happened was that Sirius got catcalled 🧍🏼more than one time, and some of them were even old people, it was so funny tbh we just laughed about it. I also noticed he was very happy overall and I know why, don’t even have to ask him. Him and I grew up in that place and it always feels amazing to be there again, because since we got older we didn’t visit the place as much as we did.

James had lots of fun too, but he always has fun lmaoo so idk. He wanted to visit all the possible places but actually some times he would call us out for being lazy and not walk a lot like him. He told me he wanted to take him back there some day in the winter so that we could ski too.

Peter was actually relaxed and that’s very rare since he’s worrying about things all the time, so I’m glad we did this together and had some chill time. He asked me a lot of question about the house and our memories there, he was very nice.

AHEM maybe I’m writing too much, but nothing much happened, it was mostly this. This experience was so nice, after this I shifted back to cr and I couldn’t go back to my dr and now I changed my destination (I’m going to my waiting room because I just want to chill and relax and not deal with anything) but I miss that place a lot, I’ll shift there again soon maybe in some days or weeks. I’ll let you guys know :)

if you're wondering who aadarshini, aanya, benjamin, lavinia and inez are - they're all oc's of mine! i wanted to include more indian wizarding families, so i decided to take matters into my own hands.

↳ The Patil Family

the patil's are the family that the patil twins are born to (and because the patil's are pakistani in my dr, the twins are pakistani/tamil). benjamin is in the same year as the marauders at hogwarts and is close friends with james and i. this is mostly because the indian wizarding community in britain is small so most of us all know each other anyways. lavinia is the oldest, basically the school's golden girl. she's so smart and educated. inez is the youngest of the patil's and is the school's cinnamon roll. it's impossible to hate her! ben's the class clown that is submitting his assignments at 11:59:59. they're all members of gryffindor house, it basically runs in their blood.

↳ The Viswanathan Family

the viswanathan's are an entirely oc based family that i made up. they're a tamil wizarding family (much like us potters in my dr). they have two kids, aadarshini and adya who are three years apart. aadarshini who often goes by darsh or addy, is in the same year as the marauders and i. consequently, adya is three years younger than us. aadarshini is a ravenclaw and adya is a proud hufflepuff.

The three families often meet up for various events throughout the year and are incredibly close knit. We all celebrate Diwali together. James and Ben are often stuck in the middle of five teenage girls, which is a nightmare for them because together we can be very devious >:)

Eventually, Aadarishini and Benjamin get married at some point in the future and have the Patil twins (Padma and Parvati).

Peter Pettigrew grew up in the quiet suburbs of England with his mother and sister. His father walked out of their life when the siblings were still young, Peter’s memory of his Father is rather suppressed, and his younger sister Amelia barely remembers him at all. Peter was always a mother’s boy, and often refrains himself from getting into too much mischief, but of course with highschool comes peer pressure but the guilt of his first ever detention haunts him, and he’s refused to ever get into something that bad since. He’d rather sit it out with Mary or Remus than be involved in anything that could hurt someone else. Amelia Pettigrew is two years younger than Peter, the siblings are very very close - and Peter takes much care in making his sister happy. Amelia is a shy Hufflepuff, but character development is good to her and eventually she learns to stand her ground.

fun fact I have an amazing sense of smell in my cr but apparently god had to fucking nerf me so I'm congested like 80% of the time

anyway let's go fr (all of this is from my bnha/mha dr bc thet's the only place i've shifted)

this super specific type of cleaner spray for countertops that we use, it kinda smells like very citrus-y but with notes of mango i've never smelled anything like it here, so it's probably not a thing here, but my and hawk's apartment smells like it like 24/7 (it's called zesty sparkle 😭😭)

kei always gets this spicy ass garlic-y chicken when he comes back from a really crazy patrol, and it smells SO GOOD but i risk my life every time i eat that shit on godddd

i use this shea butter/oil stuff for my feathers so they're nice and shiny and clean looking, and it smells literally the best i would eat it by the jar if i could holy shiiiiiiit
