How had this managed to happen again? It seemed like he kept ending up with various items to return to the pink hedgehog whenever she remembered something that she had to get to, she always ended up dropping something and leaving it behind before he could tell her that she'd dropped it. Somehow, it was both infuriating and... endearing, somewhat.

Certainly he wouldn't have put up with it had it been Sonic who kept leaving stuff lying around and dropping them, but he felt... more charitable to the pink hedgehog as opposed to the blue one.

She reminded him, after all, so vividly of Maria. Even down to, while an accident, the way she'd tackled him into a hug way back when Prison Island still existed... at least before it got destroyed. Having just been woken up back then from his cryo sleep, well. It had certainly been a factor in him remembering and then subsequently choosing to honor Maria's final wishes.

Still, the amount of times was getting a little much. He kept getting looks from Rouge when he'd be holding onto the items from the hedgehog, and he always had to mutter something about how she'd dropped it and he didn't want someone to go and steal it.

"Rose." Shadow's voice intoned when he finally spotted the signature bit of pink and red that signaled the hedgehog, and he held the item out in one hand.

"...You dropped this, earlier."

Shadow glanced over at the other individual. There wasn't quite proper recognition of the other being in front of him, though he did seem more than a bit confused by the...striking similarity to him from the other, only his coloration was far different from them.

His red eyes watched the other who matched him for height exactly, like he was a mirror copy. Like the phantom ruby copy but not.

"And you are?" The half-alien hedgehog asked in a rather neutral tone of voice. He didn't have a good gut feeling about the other, but he wasn't about to assume. He'd been in that position before and he wasn't going to be on the opposing side.

due to the cryostasis she’s still 14 years old, but she was transferred to a plant healing chamber gerald after stuff happened so she gained minor plant powers, however her disease is still a problem to deal with

Shadow’s life may be falling apart post-second divorce but at least he has his sister back! and she gets to explore earth for a while!
