"In a sense. My silence hinges on you remaining not a threat to anyone I know and am more than passably acquainted to." Kyoya started off with a low hum as the glare of the sun briefly obscured his eyes behind the lenses of his glasses.

"I can save you and your master further time on investigating, as I have every tiny little bit of information about every student on campus and information on their families businesses and affiliations on top of it. So you'd narrow down whatever it is you are currently investigating far more quickly than you would for however long you remain undercover here." The third Ootori son spoke calmly, a reasonable tone to his voice.

"Which will get you both through your current assignment faster and provide the least intrusive method of your investigation. As you both are currently well outside of your own country's jurisdiction, so if the government were to get involved on this end. Even if I'm aware you could likely handle it, that would be more mess for you to clean up, no?"

Kyoya brings the offer forward, grey eyes holding cool, calm contact with still pink-tinted crimson.

Detached, efficient, opportunistic; Kyoya has the makings of a decent devil. Sebastian does not like other devils, but when did affinity have anything to do with respect?

“Is this where your little bargain comes into play?” Sebastian asks, halting behind the student. The demon’s whisper is sticky, like black oil in clear water. “You say you will not tell, and you certainly will not, but what price do you expect me to pay for your silence? What can you offer me that I cannot obtain myself upon killing you?”

Kyoya Ootori has the makings of a decent devil. He lurks in the shadows, robs graves for secrets, dangles the bones over the heads of those he believes inferior. Kyoya Ootori preys on the weak. Kyoya Ootori has eyes too big for his stomach. Sebastian Michaelis would know, would understand, would relate.

Still, he will not allow Ciel’s mission to be compromised. Sebastian can count on his hands how many people truly know the severity of the young lord’s servitude to the Queen. More accurately, he can count on his hands how many living people know. If Kyoya has ascertained so much as an idea, a probability, a lucky guess, then he is a threat Sebastian cannot ignore.

Of course, should the boy make a convincing argument… well. surely something can be arranged.

"I'm expected to excel." Kyoya said simply, watching as the demon circled him.

The third son of the Ootori family was quite casual as he remained somewhat detached from the situation. He was, quite frankly, one of the most, if not the top most observant student in the school. That, and he had information on every single student at the school.

He let his eyes fall to his notebook, opening it quietly as he contemplated both questions.

"As far as I'm aware, I'm the only one." Kyoya started off, making sure to choose his words carefully.

"I have no doubt that you and your... master are looking into something specific for the Queen of Britain...given what I was able to glean from a mild background check, nothing extensive... I just prefer to keep aware of everyone's associations and possible motivations." Kyoya explained in a more articulate tone as he flipped the pages of his notebook and began to write, keeping himself busy. He doesn't miss the slightly more pinkish tint to normally red eyes.

"I see no reason to do so. Everyone has secrets to keep." He finished simply, "At the moment, you've not posed a threat to anyone that would prompt me to start saying anything. And I don't generally make it my business to expose secrets that I have no need for doing so with them."

"Interesting," Sebastian murmurs, pleased. "You must be quite the remarkable student, observant as you are."

Sebastian didn't think twice about the students of Ouran Academy before now. They were simply little ants that tracked from class to class to luncheon to class and finally back home, only to circle back and do it all again. If the young master didn't have business here (infiltrating yet another academic institution on behalf of the Queen), Sebastian never would have met Kyoya Ootori, and wouldn't that be a crying shame?

"Are you the only one to know?" the demon asks sweetly. He circles the student, letting his eyes burn a little pinker than usual. "Will you tell anyone else?"

He... probably should be scared, and a part of him, deep... deep down, is scared. But everything about his upbringing leaves the sensation so frozen over and dull that it's as if he doesn't feel it to begin with.

"...You're... kidding, right?" Kyoya started off, seeming confused as to how this... demon. Definitely a demon, thought he was really hiding. Then again, most people didn't tend to look as closely as he did.

"Your pupils contract like a cat's eyes would do to something that vaguely resembles an in-between of feline and reptilian, your eyes are far more red than the brown or orange you seem to be trying to pass them off as to remain hidden, and you aren't exactly hiding the teeth very well, especially when you smile." The grey-eyed Ootori names off just a few of the more obvious ones, things that, of course like he always did, Kyoya had picked up on far faster than the rest of his peers. He'd brought up the red to Tamaki, once, in passing, but the blond had been confused. Wondering what Kyoya was talking about and generally if the fellow second year perhaps needed his glasses prescription updated. So he had dropped it easily enough.

“How about making a bargain with me?” -Kyoya Ootori

Sebastian's mouth draws into a hideously delighted grin. "Oh my. You're rather astute," he observes, hardly resisting the throb of manic glee. Perhaps he ought to insist upon his mortal disguise—"Forgive me, sir, you're quite wrong; I am simply one hell of a butler..."—but no, Sebastian will not insult this young man's intelligence. He would much rather pool in, crimson eyes boring into cool grey, pretty like earth frozen over. "Now you've got me curious. What gave me away?"

It's alright!! And while he's not currently on the muse list (I saw your answered ask), that's only bc I haven't been doing my silly due diligence and properly adding him. He's still available I just need to get to making him one of the little thingies on the muses page on my blog. As the original reason was actually just bc he wasn't being able to be written, but if he's wanted to be written with I'm 100% still up for it and for adding him into my muses page!

So I'm going to come out on this blog and will be putting it to all of our attached blogs as well. And yes, you saw that correctly, it is not a typo or error in speech.

To put this as plainly as possible. We are a system. We're plural/multiple, and poly-fragmented to be specific about it (complex inner world, multiple subsystems, and over 100 members of the system). All of our portrayals throughout the years, barring a few exceptions, have been written by our fictives of that specific muse. Those that were the exception to this rule were usually due to the fact we did not have a fictive of the muse.

For the past few years that we have been on this blog, we have masked as a single/non-system, but we've gotten at a point where we want to be more open, as those who have our discord are already aware of our plural status as we are open about it on discord (our custom stat always shows our fronting members, and our bio has it in our about me on our account) and we are deciding now that we should be open about it on our blogs, as well. These are system run accounts. We will not be signing off on our messages as we write them as a collective, but we're putting our full self out on here at last.

For those who didn't already know, it's nice to re-meet you all, I guess now you're aware on tumblr that befriending us usually means you gain more than one friend at once. For those are already aware: hi, welcome to the further evolution of our account.

Apparently this needs to be said ahead of time, and this will be my ONLY post about it because I do not want it all over my dash.

I do not and will not be sharing, spreading, or boosting any fundraiser that gets shoved into my inbox. There are people who do that who actively use a personal blog for that purpose! A lot of them! Please go to those places! Contact those blogs! Do not contact me about it.

I see it, the ask will be deleted and I will contact you to either link this post now that it's made, or contact you saying that I don't do fundraisers like that.

This goes for any fundraiser. If it's a friend opening commissions, I will boost. If it is a post from someone I know on their blog, I will boost.

If you come into my ask box to shove your fundraiser asking me to boost it completely unprompted as a stranger I do not know, while knowing just based on the very start of my blog that this is for role-play. It will be tossed out, and if it happens repeatedly. I will just start blocking people who do it after I delete the asks because Tumblr gets weird when I block the person and then don't do that (I have 1 inbox for 2 of my blogs because I blocked an anon without deleting it and so now it's just There forever even though I can't see it).

This involves all fundraisers no matter the content.
