Four is the oldest one

Fanfic prompt : I like seeing people portray Four as an adult or late teen

But what if it got cranked up to him actually being the oldest

As in even older then time

Because that would be hilariously contradictory to his size

Because everyone is jokingly calling him a kid but if he one day just tells them that he is 30

They all won’t believe him

Till he gives life changing advice that only an old man could give

If you add shadow in but keep him a kid because you can’t age if you are dead and it would probably take years to find a way to bring someone back to life with no life changing consequences even if Zelda is helping alongside you

Like him having a kid would only make it more hilarious

Like many older people take it as a compliment if people consider them much younger than they are

The aneurysm that the chain will have when they see him with a small kid acting like a parent

While Time secretly envies him for getting spared from the nickname the old man

But also him awkwardly asking how to parent and them bonding over it

Like let Four be a dad for once

He already is wind's ancestor ( grandma implied that the shield was from an hero before them and a family heirloom)

Like let them have a relationship

living through major historical events is never going to be easy or fun, but im trying to keep in mind one of my favorite quotes from uncle iroh.

it’s ok to feel anxious, to feel angry, but please take care of yourself today. avoid doomscrolling, hug a friend, do something that brings you comfort. do what you need to in order to keep your head above water.

then, once you’re steady, support the people around you. be kind. do what you can to help your neighbors and friends, especially those who will be feeling the greatest effects of the outcome of this election. if we want to see change in the world, we need to take those first steps ourselves. we will create hope in these dark times, because we will care for each other and take care of one another. as long as we’re here, as long as we care for each other, as long as we fight for each other, there’s hope.

It's so weird to me as a very recent fan how much the Dovewing hate is the stuff of legend when I literally have never seen a peep of that sentiment being genuinely expressed. And yet, the fandom opinion pendulum has swung so drastically that I can totally imagine what it was like based solely on the modern Ivypool vitriol.

I love writing characters that communicate differently, because my verbal ability varies wildly from day to day and I like giving my characters parts of me.

Adya mimics and mimes. They repeat back the last word or sound they heard and gesture with their hands to communicate.

Ihzi can speak in full sentences but that exhausts her and makes her feel uncomfortable and unsafe, so she uses her own dialect, and just uses the single words to get her point across.

Sai communicates with sign language, or by her Esteem, Sana, taking over their body and speaking verbally.

Raza has so many accents and languages and dialects crammed into them that they struggle to sound like they're from one place and people often struggle to understand them when they get excited and talk fast.

Tola understands Eorzean but only speaks Drivanian, relying on Ysayle to translate what's necessary to the people around them.

Nergui has a very intense stutter, so often tries to shorten her sentences so she can get them out quicker, avoiding words with W or S sounds as they make it worse.

All of these characters have varying education and intelligence levels. Nergui is an Archon, Ihzi stopped getting any education at age 5, but none of that is related to their methods of communication.

Sometimes I get self conscious, as when I've written characters with alternate communication in the past, people have accused me of ableism and mockery, when I'm only trying to give voice to my own experiences.

Bayclan: Resourceful, Quick to help, and Intrepid

If there were ever a clan that one could always rely on, it’s Bayclan. These cats are dependable and well-rounded, and are often more than willing to lend a helping paw to a cat in need. Being the second-largest of the clans— previously the largest— they’re always got plenty of cats that are eager to help out, even if that just means it gives them something to do. Despite several of the most active and fast-paced cats in the clan leaving to form Vixenclan, many Bayclan cats are quick to bore, and will take on even the dullest of tasks on so long as it allows them to do something with their paws. Bayclan is led by Gullstar, and is camped by the tide pools by the bay shore.

Thistlewind is the second eldest son of Wolfstar and Rabbitpelt.

While not having always been true, Thistlewind has grown to be arrogant and unempathetic towards the majority of cats he comes across. The main exception being his clanmates (most of the time) and senior warriors.

He is cold, calculating, and chooses his battles carefully. Sure he has a sharp tongue but he wouldn't be foolish enough to start something he knew he couldn't finish. Such an attribute makes Thistlewind an invaluable Guard within the clan as he doesn't hesitate to take charge in battle. You can often find him training with his brother, Slatefall, and the other Viperclan Guards.
