Why should Ashton choose a god when they just witnessed the greatest miracle be performed by a simple old turtle lady - making FCG admit that they need help too.

Hope wanted to throw a baby shower for herself and Calista, so naturally, Sterling pulled out his shiny credit card and spent a small fortune to please his fiancée. Meeting the in-laws didn’t go as Hope expected, but at least the day ended without any incidents 😌
Tumblr media
The party ended quite late, so Hope rang the little bell and her butler took care of cleaning everything up lmao

Painting by Vanessa Bell (1917.)
“What is the meaning of life? That was all -- a simple question; one that tended to close in on one with years, the great revelation had never come. The great revelation perhaps never did come.
Instead, there were little daily miracles, illuminations, matches struck unexpectedly in the dark; here was one.” -- Virginia Woolf (born January 25, 1882).
Quote from "To the Lighthouse." [Thanks Sherry Baker]

✨When you get this ask you have to (not have to, only if you wanna) put 5 songs you listen to, post it, then send this ask to 10 of your favorite followers (positive vibes are cool)🎶
Thanks for thinking of me!
I will gladly provide five more songs:
"How to Be a Ghost" by Shipwrecked Comedy (BECAUSE REASONS AMIRITE?)
"God Help the Girl" by Stuart Lee Murdoch of Belle & Sebastian
"Get Lonely" by The Mountain Goats
"You've Really Got a Hold on Me" by The Miracles
"Missing Piece" by Vance Joy

Adding to the list of fairytale media I wish to get my hands on a recording of, I am currently looking for any subbed or dubbed version of the 1967 movie "C'era una volta".
Tumblr media
I was kindly informed by @maimoncat of the existence of this movie (here is the post in question), which is actually the first cinematic attempt at bringing to the silver screen the Pentamerone and its fairytales - or rather, in this movie's case, an attempt by Francesco Rosi to recreate the feel, ambiance and tonality of the Pentamerone stories.
The movie is fully disponible on various platforms (including Youtube and Dailymotion) for free in Italian. But I unfortunately do not speak Italian and couldn't find any subbed version anywhere...
Tumblr media
I know the movie got a French dub, because it got released under the title "La belle et le cavalier" (Beauty and the rider / The beautiful woman and the horseman), but I couldn't find the French dub online.
I also know the movie got released in English, and apparently more than once, since it was distributed under THREE DIFFERENT TITLES: "More than a miracle", "Happily ever after" and finally, the most Americanized one of all, "Cinderella Italian Style".
So if anyone knows where I can watch this, I'll be very glad!

“Imagine the emptiness in you, the vast cavities you have spent your life trying to fill—with fathers, mothers, lovers, language, drugs, money, art, praise—and imagine them gone. What's left? Whatever you aren't, which is what makes you...”

"Belle" development model by CG artist Hiroki Itokazu
"I participated in the development and research stage of "The Dragon and the Freckled Princess" and created a 3D model that became the prototype for Belle. Bell was designed by Disney's genius character designer Jin Kim."
