Chapter 1 - A story in which an overworked art student longs for a fictional character that they've devoted so much of their time to. Astarion realizes there's someone else watching him. And he can't wait to get acquainted with them.

Chapter 2 - The reader believes they are in a dream. It wouldn’t be the first time their fantasies conjured up such an obscure, yet somehow realistic scene. And so they’ve elected to treat the experience with as much realism as one would observe in a dream; little to none.

Chapter 3 - As an outsider to most of everyone’s problems, you find your place by helping in whatever way you can. Even if that may be at the expense of your own comfort, but at least it’s been fun so far.

Chapter 4 - A party is being held at the camp in the heroes’ honor, which greets you with a lively crowd that you’ll hopefully meet again soon. And with a gathering this large, you’re bound to garner attention. But with a constitution as poor as yours from the night before, a round of drinks is the last thing you want.

Ya know, I have these dateables x MC playlists on Spotify that I've wanted to post on here but also most of them are very much geared for my MC's relationship with each of them specifically, which isn't actually too terribly different from a neutral stand point playlist for most of them, however, there are a few, mainly my Lucifer one, that fit towards very specific relationship dynamics-

I don't want people to judge how many angsty songs I have in my Lucifer playlist- (though I promise it isn't only angsty songs, I do love that man to death)

I also have a Mephisto x MC playlist and I haven't made a Raphael x MC playlist or a Thirteen x MC playlist yet, but imma start both of those soon!!

I made a playlist for my keyframes mc, Larissa :D!!!

It doesn't have that many songs in it because I'm bad at making playlists for my characters ore, but it's supposed to show how she feels from spring to winter, idk waaa

I have the transition from fall to winter and winter to spring more figured out rn, I may add more songs since I haven't thought to much about when she might develop romantic feelings for someone... ermm... (I'm lying, I am thinking about it)

When trying to differentiate The Dreamer Trilogy from The Raven Cycle, Maggie Stiefvater decided to change the genre completely. The Dreamer Trilogy, though still technically fantasy, is not a quest, it is not built on esoteric magic and underlying romance. TD3 is an action film (or set of action films).

This is not necessarily a bad thing—it achieves the goal of making the series tonally distinct, and I think it’s a good fit for these main characters and where they’re going. But when adopting this genre/tone shift, MS made two mistakes in my opinion. One I’ve talked about before—taking on too much detailed world building that muddies the lore. The other is not leaning far enough into action tropes. The closest we ever got to the true ambiance of an action film were Declan’s suicide mission in Greywaren and Matthew’s fake out death. If TD3 was going to go this direction, it needed to go full throttle. More explosions, someone should have shot Ronan or Hennessy at some point, the Barns should have burned down. Because without any push like this, TD3 becomes an empty shell, not what it used to be, but not leaning completely into its own identity.
