Sorry for disappearing for a month, adhd powers went apeshit and I got REALLY into printmaking. It's devouring my living room, most of my waking moments, and a concerning amount of each paycheck. Anyway here's the Calamity Box

The moment when a random kid has light magic and you still don’t have any :

(This is a shit post I love Zelda so don’t take it seriously she is best girl)

But the fact that in Wind waker you actually use your own magic to power the light arrows implies that the hero of the Wind is actually a Zelda in disguise

Because he just unlocked light magic that supposedly only belongs to Zelda and the royal blood line

It is just hilarious that he just collects arrows and then either freezes them ,lights them on fire or turns into Zelda by using light magic

I repeatedly mentioned that the physics of Windwaker are something else entirely but MAN…

He canonically uses light magic

Which means …

that Hylia just hates Zelda for no good reason

Because why else would a genuinely random kid who doesn’t have the hero spirit end up with light powers if he isn’t even hylia's favorite

That move was absolutely personal hylia is ready to give a kid her power but not Zelda

Do you think Andrias recognized Valerina as the creator of the box? I think the Core would, but it makes me wonder how much Ancient Amphibia's history would credit Valerina for her creation when she regrets building it to begin with.

IIRC the journal entry that mentions Val, doesn't mention her by name. There could've been some revisionism that takes credit away from Val creating the box. I could see the Core/Leviathans doing that to maintain the image that the conquering of worlds is justified.

You know what? I don’t like short hair Sasha.

There’s just something that’s very important to me about the member of the calamity trio who represents strength, a typically masculine trait, is represented by the color pink, and is the most feminine of the trio, looks and hobbies wise.

It’s about how it breaks the mould for the tomboy of the group to be the reckless, brute who represents strength. That is not Sasha.

I like that Sasha’s hair is only cut to the bob length after the time skip. And she was allowed to have long hair for the series run.

i won’t judge kit for biting a bit because i too am fascinated by the story concept of “the soldier goes home after the war….what the hell does he do now?” so i get it. i think the problem is that they’d always come back around to essentially redoing s8 and that’s not fun

I cemented my status as a true Amphibia nerd by getting this fantastic Calamity Box tattoo! Even if my brain isn’t currently hyper fixated on it, it inspired me to push my creative boundaries and I’ve met such wonderful friends because of this show, so it will always hold a special place in my heart.

The artist was Faith (@ faithfitzy on Insta) who did an amazing job! She was personable and patient with me as it was my first tattoo. Her color work is absolutely spectacular! The shop is Nimbus Tattoo in Tyrone, GA (it’s not far from Atlanta). If you’re looking to get an anime, video game, cartoon, etc tattoo, I would highly recommend them! It was a clean, comfortable, and fun environment.
