Iris, Chikki and guardians. What are you grateful for this Thanksgiving?

Iris: I'm grateful to have such amazing friends in my life that bring me lots of joy and laughs. Being able to live amongst the Brotherhood has been incredible and getting to interact with all of you is just awesome. I'm more than grateful to have such wonderful people that support me through such a vulnerable time as I transition as well, its a great feeling to be alive and happy. -smiles happily-

Chikki: I'm grateful for all these spicy memes nyehehe -chuckles to themselves maniacally- Iris: -looks at Chikki concerned-

Thunderhawk: Well I'm grateful to have my family, grateful for Iris and even Chikki for being a breath of fresh air around Haven, and for all the new friends that we've made along the way. You all enrich our lives in ways you can't even imagine and for that I'm grateful. -smiles then looks over at his father- What are you grateful for father? Sojourner: Um.. The good food we'll be eating today haha

Thunderhawk: -frowns at him-

Sojourner: -sighs- I'm grateful for the safety of our family and all the strangers that keep invading our home and criticizing our outfits...

Thunderhawk: -rolls his eyes at him- Ok now you are just being petty

Sojourner: Whaaat?

Sabre: I'll say I'm grateful for the kindness of strangers and new perspectives from our visitors. It's nice to have a bit of a break from the mundane around here. Locke: I um.. am grateful for my family, for the health and wellbeing of my son.. grateful for the health of my wife and her family-

Sojourner: Ex-wife

Locke: Um Y-es! Ex-wife that's what I-I meant.. -he looks away embarrassed- I'm just grateful that everyone in my life is well and all... -he mumbles all flustered-

Sojourner: Mhmm.. -side eyes Locke-

Spectre: I will always be grateful for my family's health and well being as well as all of Angel Island. This particular year I find gratitude in new connections, I'm grateful for Iris and all they've done to support us, I'm grateful for all our new visitors and the insight they bring to our lives, I agree with Thunderhawk and Sabre that it is rather refreshing to be able to interact more with others and gain an outsider's view to our own.

... ... ... hmm I'm.. also quite grateful for some wonderful food... and desserts.

Chikki: Damn you're grateful for Iris and NOT me?? I thought we were homies.

Spectre: Negative.

Upcoming (?) cdramas I am interested in - top 30

The reason there is a question mark is because with cdramas you never know when one will be shelved forever (due to topic or an actor being in trouble) or when the makers just decide to keep it on the shelf for...reasons (there is a drama premiering on Dec 10 that was completed in 2018!). But with that caveat, here we go. At least a couple of these are bound to air!

Euthanise me i was so distraught i went on character ai and told kenny i was so sorry that no one ever remembers when he dies and then i may or may not have made a club with a bunch of dead-not-dead characters to be friends and hang out. Please don’t judge me i’m just a little guy… i played telephone between eight different AIs for an hour inviting each to the dead kid club. I need help. Maybe. On the bright side i will be probably drawing shitty stupid art about dead-not-dead characters such as danny fenton, kenny mccormick, jack frost, alphonse elric, atom, lars steven universe, evan afton, and maybe meliodas if i feel like it.

All because i was distraught over how no one remembers kenny dies and i thought he needed people who get it. God this’s like how i used to sob at 2am over portgas d ace

Random Archie Sonic Character Headcanons. Pt. 1 Too Many Echidnas.

It's my birthday, so I thought I'd push the Ray headcanons to the side and focus on all the forgotten goobers of the Archie Comics left behind. Let's start with all those echidnas... Spectre the Echidna: The reluctant caretaker of Charmy, Saffron and Ray. Tends to talk with actions and not words. Surprisingly, more progressive than he looks as he accepted Julie-su's pleas for refuge after she defected despite his overwhelming hatred for the DL and allowed the Chaotix to set up base in Haven after many difficulties trying to find a place to stay without paying large amounts of rent.

Sojourner the Echidna: Excellent swimmer if he wasn't a guardian, he'd be an Olympian. Used to co-own a gym with another friend before he had to sell his stake and join the Brotherhood. Can be a racist stick in the mud, and is in agreement with Locke that Knuckles' friends and GF are a bad influence. Vector and him are swimming rivals.

Thunderhawk the Echidna: He is the weedman. Bro smokes weed and grows a lot of it and sells it to be made into medicine, much to the utter frustration of the other members. Gets on well with pretty much everyone except for Locke. He hasn't fully forgiven him for what he's done to Knuckles (and Lara-Le) when he was a wee babby and onwards. Regularly talks to the Sommersby's and asks about Elias often. Looks after the 'junior recruits' Benjy the Kangaroo and Trixie Bee (Charmy's sister). The least racist member of the Brotherhood by far.

Sabre the Echidna: Archivist and preserver of all knowledge of Angel Island. Tends to have his muzzle in a book or jabbering to everyone about manners and decorum. While very good at giving advice, he also can drone on for a bit too long. Somewhat racist as he unknowingly peppers everything with microaggressions to the annoyance of the non insect and non echidna people who interact with him.

Locke the Echidna: Incredibly strong, his fighting ability is second to none, to the point people like Shadow are wary around him. He's also a massive control freak, jeopardising many people's health and safety in the process, including his ex-wife and son in genetic experiments. He loathes Knuckles' friends and believes them to be leeches, even going so far to trust Dr Finitevus over the concerns of Vector and Espio due to his unchecked ego. Incredibly racist that even the other members of the Brotherhood have to tell him to reign it in when he suggests permanently booting every non echidna off the island by force. Despite his massive, massive flaws, he does truly care about his family and echidna kind. Time will tell if he can extend that to everyone else...

Jenna-Lu the Echidna: After one too many of her son's escapades nearly got her Grandson in trouble, Jenna became a 'watcher' over the Brotherhood. Fed up with her estranged husband's inability to get the elders to reign Locke in, she, Lara-Le, Wynmacher and a couple of others hired the Chaotix to find a way to stop Locke spying on everyone everywhere. The High Council would later appoint her and former EST chief inspector Holmes as official Brotherhood watchers to keep an eye on everyone there.

Knuckles: While being a loner at heart, Knuckles tends to attract oddballs like a magnet. He met Espio, Vector, Charmy and Mighty in a theme park. Ray during a riot in a wrestling show, Charmy's sister, butler and best friend during a siege and Julie-su while being held hostage (the last one being he fell for the very old 'what's that over there' trick) which got him held hostage after he captured Julie-su first. Knuckles seems to have inherited his father's ego but unlike his dad, reality tends to enjoy keeping Knuckles' in check but having his team blunder when ever he brags that they are the best. The most infamous example was Knuckles telling Sonic that his team was far better than the FF, only for Knuckles to witness Ray electrocuting himself by poking a live wire with a metal fork while Charmy watched on, chanting 'do it!'.

Lore

The Brotherhood of Guardians, protectors of Angel Island, overseers to the Master Emerald. A legacy of an echidna family devoted to protecting echidna civilization for generations. A secretive group residing in their headquarters, Haven, hidden in the Forbidden Zone. Their lives have been quiet for the most part, with The Dark Legion residing in the Twilight Zone, and the current Guardian Knuckles stationed in a secluded area of Angel Island; Watching over and protecting the Master Emerald, as his ancestors work from behind the scenes. 

All has been going accordingly ordinary until the Guardians encountered a strange intruder in the impenetrable Forbidden Zone. They found a rather confused teal hedgehog hybrid named Iris, who has some very unusual abilities of which they have limited knowledge on. While initially seeing this as a great threat, the Brotherhood was surprised to discover not only was this hedgehog no threat but rather an admirer of The Guardians and the history behind the Floating Island. A Lore of which Iris had long forgotten about and had even been convinced that the Guardians themselves had ceased to exist. When asked what the hedgehog wanted from the Brotherhood, Iris’s only request was to dedicate themself in service to the Guardians personally. 

While hesitant about the concept, it was ultimately the oldest member Hawking who found an interest in them, allowing this hedgehog to stay; if anything to keep an eye over their strange abilities as well as an opportunity to give these old men some much-needed companionship. 

Needless to say, Iris has thrown the Guardians for a loop in the few months they have been residing with them. The Guardians tend to have quite solitary and secretive lives for the most part, distancing themselves from most of society besides their duties to the Island. Having this foreign occupant around has been quite the adjustment for these tired old men, although they’ve grown to find it a rather pleasant change for once. The only caveat to their arrangement comes in the form of Iris’s strange assortment of friends, which they’ve surprisingly made through their interdimensional zone travels. 

As the goofy little hedgehog tends to find a friend in any place they go, their friends tend to find a way back to them in return. Leaving much room for The Brotherhood of Guardians to get tied up in the hedgehog’s wacky little adventures.
