The reason there is a question mark is because with cdramas you never know when one will be shelved forever (due to topic or an actor being in trouble) or when the makers just decide to keep it on the shelf for...reasons (there is a drama premiering on Dec 10 that was completed in 2018!). All I'm going to say is I'm watching Legend of the Female General for Cheng Lei and Cheng Lei alone.

Ok just one comment because I can't help myself: am I crazy or is the vibe just off with the last two trailers of this drama? Like there's just no...spark.

I really hope this is just poor trailer editing and LOTFG comes together as a whole because I like both actors and want this to be a hit for both of them. But oof.

a bit excited and a bit wary for the drama adaptation for Qian Shan Cha Ke's Rebirth of a Star General mostly because I've gotten fairly used to watching BIG plotline changes in drama adaptations.

(like them taking the basic premise from the books and then giving us almost a completely new story lol)

I loveddd the Double but was surprised by how many changes they had made from the novel, so I guess I am ready for whatever version they give us for this one.

they have released the stills though and it looks gorgeous! this book was long as hell though so it will be fun to see which plot lines make it to the show.

he yan still sits on top of my favourite qian shan cha ke character tree so I will be there regardless for my general who's a little dork and 100% adorable everywhere apart from the battle field.
