Dropout is great because while on a traditional network nowadays you would have one knockout concept and be done with it never revisiting it again dropouts like “okay we love doing that now let’s do it AGAIN and AGAIN and make it BETTER and more COOL and more ENJOYABLE and let’s keep doing it until our hearts tell us to stop and we love doing it so that might be never so long as we’re passionate about it” and that’s so fucking cool, in an era of commodified creativity the enthusiastic passion for the arts that drives dropout is not only refreshing but heartwarming and cathartic as a fellow creative who would love to have the chance to do what I love to do like that.

Inktober Day 31: "Landmark"

This was by far the biggest tree his little eyes had ever seen! They couldn't touch it - Sam said it was because it didn't like being touched. That's okay, not everyone likes hugs. Sam said that they should take a "family photo," and...oh. Family? Were they a family? He supposed they were. How lucky could he be, to have gone on such a grand adventure with his family? To have his two bestest friends by his side, always and forever?

Maybe the tree didn't like hugs, but Danny sure did. And how lucky was he, to have a family that liked hugs, too.

I've gotta say, as a Guy myself, I really appreciate Brennan and Sam saying I love you to each other. In a society that sees men expressing love, PARTICULARLY to their friends, as unmanly and weak and lesser, it really makes me happy to see them in their 30s feeling confident with saying that to each other. Gotta have those amazing male role models people are always talking about.
