Simp lines for me and for you.
Warning: Simpery ----
Eclipse, gently holding your hand: I'm afraid of you. I'm afraid of what comes over me when I'm around you… I'm afraid of how tempting it is… to ignore my rationale… of how many excuses I can invent to be closer to you… I'm afraid of how much I want… of what I want. ------ Wolverine, gently: The day I met you, I began to forget a life without you. ------ Dusk, harshly: You asked me once… What I would do in your position? *He glowers as his magic crackles and sparks as he gets closer* Dusk: But when it comes to them…? Perhaps you should be asking yourself… *His bone attacks begin to form* Dusk: What would I not do? ------- Ridge, gently cupping your face after a fight: Who did this to you? I'll kill them. -------- Cardinal holding you close: You're the greatest risk I've ever taken... And the greatest reward. ------ Captain pressing his face into your neck: It was love at first sight... At last sight... As every and ever sight... ------ Elm, kissing your hand: It will always be you...

Corren - 1 through 100 - You did this to yourself.
FUCK YOU *UN-IRONICS YOUR ASK*
UNDER THE FUCKING CUT
1. What do they smell like?
Bad. Do you think their party is able to regularly take showers? I thinketh the fuck not. ... Pine and old books when he can self care tho.
2. What is their voice like?
Listen I know Corren, being taller, would be more likely to have a deeper register but you'll tear "tenor Corren" out of my cold dead hands
3. What is their biggest motivator?
Spite.
4. What is their most embarrassing memory?
When he first met his BFF Alondra, he was so antisocial and good at ignoring people that she actually got the impression he might have been hard of hearing. She never let him live that down. (one day I'll finish this fic i promise)
5. How do they deal with/react to pain?
"I will keep all of my pain in here, and one day I'll die." ... Okay but listen he's squishy so he takes like one hit and is bloodied up. Someone get him a healer. Pls.
6. What do they like to wear?
He likes his cloak. Its weighty and soft(well. WAS soft. got a bit of wear and tear these days.) and like. Who doesnt love cloaks.
7. Which of their relationships have impacted them most positively?
Ohhhhh fuuuccck this one's tough. I might have to go with Torvid honestly. While the entire party has had a positive impact on him(and trust me I was this close to picking Alistair), Torvid's been more of the one to call him out on his bullshit and to, oh I don't know, talk about your emotions? Ever??? Yknow BEFORE they become too much to handle and he absolutely breaks down???
8. What’s the weirdest thing they’ve ever eaten?
Alistair's cooking.
9. Describe the way that they sleep.
Good luck finding him NOT cuddled up with at least one dog. Tbh he just enjoys cuddles in general.
10. What is their favorite food/kind of food?
FUCKIN. GIVE HIM A GOOD STEAK. THIS BOY IS MOSTLY CARNIVORISTIC.
11. What do they feel most insecure about?
As tempted as I am to say "His cooking", it's actually his singing.
12. How do they like to dress?
"Comfort over flashiness tbh. I gotta go ADVENTURING in whatever I wear after all."
"... Also don't you DARE perceive me as cishet."
13. How do they react to feelings of guilt?
Call him a genie because he will BOTTLE THAT SHIT UP.
14. How do they react to/deal with betrayal?
Denial :D
15. What is their greatest achievement?
Shrike: Killing his dad
Me: NOOOOOO
EDIT: WAIT THIS WAS ANSWERED IN Q99 WHAT THE HECK
16. What are they like when they’ve gotten too little sleep?
Somehow more of a dick than usual. Snappy and cranky and just. Mrehhh.
17. What are they like when they’re drunk?
Doesn't get drunk often, but when he does I imagine he's actually giggly and a little clingy. It's cute :)
18. What kind of music do they enjoy?
*Opens my Corren playlist* Oh yeah. It's either full edgy alt rock or indie alt "depressed millenial" tracks.
19. Are they right or left handed?
FFFuuhhhhck uhhhh well
Looking over my old art I can't seem to pick a dominant hand(I've even drawn him handling his sniper with either hand???????????) so like oops guess he's ambidextrous.
20. Fears?
The dark, the ocean, dying alone and forgotten, his friends losing their trust of him
21. Favorite kind of weather?
Rain!!!! Especially cool rain like what people often get in fall months.
22. Favorite color?
Indigo!!!
23. Do they collect anything?
Books :3
24. Do they prefer either hot or cold weather more?
Cold weather by far.
25. What is their eye color?
Electric blue!
26. What is their race/ethnicity?
Well his race is a homebrew race known as Marelienth. Uhhh ethnicity? Idk he's from a mountain town way up north *shrugs*
In human aus I imagine him as half-Mongolian half-Norwegian so ayee
27. Hair color?
Black!
28. Are they happy where they are currently?
No :D He loves adventuring with his party don't get me wrong but he still has a lot of trauma to unpack. ... Also he was just possibly broken up with soooo. :/
29. Are they a morning person?
NOPE.
30. Sunrise or sunset?
*motions to above question* Sunset.
31. Are they more messy or more organized?
More organized, actually!
32. Pet peeves?
*unravels a list. It's all shit the party has done. Mostly Alistair.*
33. Do they own any objects of significant personal importance?
HOOUSIDSJFK- HE- Y-YEAH HE SURE DOES
His amethyst pendant used to belong to his brother, Julian, and he gave it to Corren right before they were separated so you BET it's sentimental as shit and he wears it daily.
34. Least favorite food?
Mecha's usually a great cook but one time trolled him with some absurdly spicy curry he couldn't handle and he's never forgiven them.
35. Least favorite color?
Hmmm. Maybe... yellow?
36. Least favorite smell?
He spent a year with his party in a damp cave and no showers, so uh. I'll give you a guess.
37. When was the last time they cried?
Literally last night in our game's timeline :D Full breakdown and everything!
38. Were they with anybody the last time they cried?
Torvid :D He was there to comfort
39. Tell us about one of the times they got injured?
One time they were in combat and Corren took a few hits and was down to about 2hp or so. He had a temporary level thanks to Kieran, which boosted his HP a little bit. When he teleported them to a safe town, though, well... Torvid was waiting for them so that's cool. But uh. Yeah that temporary level wore off then and there, dropping Corn Cob to exactly 0hp and he just- flopped down face first in the snow and started dying then and there KJNDKLFNSLKN
40. Do they have any scars?

:)
Undiagnosed+Untreated Anxiety, Depression, DPDR, PTSD, just to name a few

Running away from his problems, definitely.
43. Why might someone dislike them?
He's a pretentious nerd. He can be a dick if he doesn't care about you.
44. Why might someone love them?
He's an adorable nerd! He's a hopeless romantic and oddly enough an optimist. He's passionate and driven too!
45. Do they believe in ghosts?
Well ghosts are like- a canon proven thing in his world sooo. Yeah.
46. Is there anyone they would trust with their lives?
His party. Well- most in his party.

Two older siblings: Julian and Mila. His parents are Andreas and Fanya!
53. Are they close to their family?

54. What is their MBTI type?
FUCK uh. I... N... T... J? INTJ. Sure.

57. What D&D alignment are they?
THIS ONE'S EASY- lawful neutral!
58. Do they ever have nightmares? If so, what about?
:)
Used to have typical nightmares, nothing special. Nowadays though he often dreams of being underwater. Not drowning, though. It's... weird. He doesn't like those.
59. What are their views on death?
He's a necromancer lol.
Death is inevitable, though. It's a necessary part of life. Death is not an entire loss, though. One lives on in the memories others carry of them, in the love they hold in their hearts. Death is complicated, but that's okay.

75. How patient are they?
More than he should be :/

A YOI x Chrono Trigger AU fic from Ye Olde 2018-ish Era. Go figure.
I can’t even remember what the hell I titled this before. Welp.
.
Chapter One: “That’s a Nice Band-Aid, Darling.”
.
They say that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, and that a hero's adventure begins with a cliché-ass wake-up call - something like, "Good morning, Crono!," perhaps. How that even made it on to TV Tropes, Yuuri would never understand. But it is on TV Tropes, and he is in bed reading it.
He's glad his mother doesn't wake him up that way, at least. But then again, he's always up before five a.m. anyway. Sadly, the daily deliveries won't take care of themselves.
Yuuri glances at the time on his tablet. 4:59. Someone will come knocking in three, two, one --
"Yuuri! Get up!" Mari's voice is accompanied by three sharp raps on the door. "Go with dad to the plaza and help him set up!"
This is the part where the hero typically groans at being woken up before grudgingly getting themselves out of bed, but Yuuri Katsuki does not groan. He shouts back that he'll be down in a minute while looking for that darned sock that has gone missing now, of all times. Phichit would surely laugh hard at seeing his best friend hopping frantically on one foot while wearing a poodle-patterned sock. It'll probably go viral on Instagram, too, but that's pretty much a given already. Someone has to part the boy from his gadgets long-term after the Millenial Fair is over.
The minute is up, so Yuuri gives up and gets another sock from the drawer. It is patterned with the face of a silver-haired man surrounded by snowflakes. He has no idea how that found its way into his pile of clothing, but for now, mismatched socks are better than being late.
Yuuri makes his way downstairs and greets his mother, who is busy in the kitchen. Hiroko sends him off with an allowance of fifty kin and packed lunch for him and his father. He ignores Mari's snickering as she musses his hair while glancing at his feet.
The ride to the plaza is pretty short. It is already bustling with people even at such an early hour, all the sellers trying to outdo each other in showing off their wares. Yuuri chuckles as his father joins in the fray, calling out to everyone about the best katsudon in town. Everyone is excited for Hasetsu Kingdom's first Millenial Fair, and with it, the hopes for a thousand years more of peace and prosperity to come.
Toshiya leads the way to their assigned spot, a quaint little corner by the northern area of the square. The tent had already been set up the day before, so all that's left to do is to arrange the food and drinks before the first customers come in. Yuuri passively observes the hustle and bustle around them. Much energy is palpable in the air, and the excited hubbub only grows louder as the sun rises. Some stalls have weapons and armor, others exotic trinkets and accessories. He even spots a merchant selling animals. Phichit would probably want to pick up a new hamster on the way home later.
His eyes wander to the secluded area beyond the main square. Yuuri hoped Phichit's solo exhibit would be a success this time, too. His friend loved tinkering with machines since he was little, and it brought him and his family great fortune as he won scientific contests left and right. His magnum opus, a two-machine teleporter, had impressed the university professors and the panel of judges alike, earning him the highest thesis grade and the first prize for the National Physics Summit.
Yuuri's hand stills when his father calls his name. He had been adding portions of garnish to the newly-cut fried pork cutlets. He instinctively opens his mouth to apologize, but Toshiya immediately pats his back and pushes a one hundred-kin note into his hand. "I'll take care of the stall. You go have fun." He winks at his son mischievously, and Yuuri pushes down the growing blush creeping onto his cheeks.
"Th-Thanks, dad," he mumbles, bowing slightly before making his way to the northernmost part of the square. Phichit would probably be busy right now, but he would never refuse breakfast and morning coffee. It had been their time-honored tradition as college roommates, after all.
Yuuri stops by a mobile café and orders two tall hazelnut lattés and a baguette loaf. He is turning to leave with breakfast in hand when he bumps into the next person in line, spilling hot coffee over his white shirt. The other person, too, recoils in pain, reflexively putting a slender finger into his mouth to nurse it.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so, so sorry!" Yuuri exclaims, setting aside the food and drink and beginning to fuss over the man. He searches his bag for the small bottle of salve he always brings with him, and proceeds to apply a small amount over the man's injured finger, covering it with a band-aid afterwards.
The other man chuckles as he lets Yuuri take care of him. "It's quite all right," he assures airily, waving the bandaged hand with a smile. "I was also too close to you in line, as well." His blue eyes crinkle beautifully as he smiles, and Yuuri fights yet another blush from coloring his face. "I love this band-aid, though!" the man comments. "Where did you get it?"
"F-From the kids' section of the pharmacy," Yuuri admits, embarrassed. He just had to use that one by mistake instead of the flesh-tones ones, did he? Why now, of all times? "The poodle-patterned ones were part of a limited edition series."
"Nice!" the man exclaims in delight, scrutinizing the design closely. "Thank you so much for giving me this one. I love it!" He winks at Yuuri and places a light kiss over his own bandaged finger.
Yuuri wishes the ground would swallow him whole right this instant.
"U-Um, I think I'll get going now," he excuses himself, retrieving the coffee and bread from the counter. "My friend is waiting uphill. I'm so sorry again." Yuuri quickly nods his head and goes on his way, but the other man takes a long stride and ends up beside him, taking the baguette loaf out of his arms.
"It's okay, I'll help you," he offers happily as they ascend the stone steps. "I'm alone today, anyway." The man cradles the food with his left arm and extends his right hand out to Yuuri. "I'm Binktop, by the way. What's your name?"
For an instant, Yuuri is tempted to laugh out loud. The funny name hardly matches the man's regal appearance at all. He must be a foreigner, like the many others who have come to Hasetsu Kingom to join in the festivities. As a citizen of Hasetsu, therefore, he is to show this man the utmost respect and hospitality he deserves, funny names or not.
He shakes Binktop's hand, the cool skin sending small shivers down his spine. "I'm Yuuri. It's nice to meet you, Binktop."
"A pleasure." Binktop returns the handshake with a smile, and they continue going up the stairs. "So, Yuuri, are you also alone here today?"
"Our family actually has a food stall down at the main square, but my dad told me to enjoy myself today," Yuuri explains. "I'm on my way to see my friend, actually. He's an inventor."
Binktop's eyes widen and sparkle in delight, and he accidentally climbs two steps at once. "Wow! He must be really smart!"
"He is," Yuuri nods fondly in agreement. "Phichit has a solo exhibit today. This project won him first place at the National Physics Summit last month."
"That's amazing!" Binktop gushes in admiration, his silver bangs parting to reveal twinkling blue eyes. "I can't wait to meet him!" Yuuri smiles back proudly in response.
They reach the top of the stairs in a minute. The miniature square is cluttered with various machine parts and wires of different lengths and calibers. The two main pods have already been set in their positions, though not yet fully-assembled as Yuuri remembers them. It's definitely like Phichit to cram at the last minute.
The soft whirring noise dies down as the two approach the left pod, and a brown-skinned young man in a bandanna and overalls comes out to greet them. "Yuuri! You're here!"
Yuuri shrugs good-naturedly and hands Phichit the cup of coffee. "I'd love to hug you, but you're covered in oil and soot right now." He smiles widely at his best friend. "Good luck with your exhibit today!"
"Oh my gosh, thank you so much! You don't know how much I need it!" Phichit downs the coffee in an instant, breathing rapidly through his mouth afterwards to cool his tongue. "I heard the prince is coming with the royal delegation to watch my demonstration! I am so nervous!"
This time, Yuuri pats Phichit's shoulder encouragingly, not minding his hand blackening with soot afterwards. "You'll do well, Phichit! You've done this before; you can do it again."
"Good luck, Phichit!" Binktop adds, sending a friendly wink and a thumbs-up of his own. Phichit is surprised at the additional voice, and notices the other man for the first time. His nervous expression immediately changes to one of teasing, instantly directed at his friend. "Yuuri!" he whispers loudly. "Who's the hot guy?!"
"H-He's not - I mean -" Yuuri splutters, coughing into his hand to stop himself. He doesn't even bother hiding his obviously-reddened cheeks anymore; nothing ever escapes Phichit's notice, anyway. Tonight's phone call is going to be a long one.
When Yuuri has composed himself, he turns to Binktop. "Phichit, this is Binktop. I ran into him in the square today. Binktop, this is my friend, Phichit."
"Hi there!" Phichit merrily extends a hand to Binktop. "Phichit Chulanont, at your service!"
"Binktop," he introduces himself, shaking Phichit's hand. "Yuuri here has told me a lot about you."
"Hahaha, good things, I hope!" Phichit laughs, before shooting Yuuri an expectant glare. Yuuri grins back before taking another sip of coffee.
Phichit shows them around the workplace, pointing out the different parts of the invention and which part goes where. His black eyes shine brightly as he rambles in tech jargon while explaining the principle behind the teleporter. Binktop nods excitedly while asking questions, while Yuuri merely watches them interact. Despite his "nerdy glasses," as Phichit had christened them, he is not really into scientific stuff, having taken up a sports major in university.
"Sure thing! I was about to give this thing a test run, anyway." Phichit beckons Yuuri to come over. "Yuuri! Could you kindly step on the left pod? Binktop wants a demonstration."
Yuuri opens his mouth to protest, but knows better than to interrupt his friend when he is in scientist-mode. He may have also wanted to impress Binktop with his bravery, but he doesn't know it yet. Huffing, he finishes the rest of his coffee in one gulp and does as he is told.
Phichit flips the switch, and Yuuri almost loses his footing as he feels himself being sucked away into a vacuum space. Black, wavy lines fill his vision for a moment before everything around him returns to normal. He steps off the right pod and flashes the peace sign at Phichit and Binktop from across the square.
Binktop immediately makes a beeline for Yuuri and embraces him tightly, while Phichit pumps his fist in joy. "Wow, amazing!" he exclaims as he cups Yuuri's face. "You actually teleported!"
"That's how it's supposed to work," Yuuri answers matter-of-factly, but even he has an undeniably huge smile on his face. Phichit's exhibit is surely going to be a massive hit amongst the fair-goers.
"Can I give it a try, too?" Binktop asks Phichit excitedly, still not letting go of Yuuri. "It looks like so much fun!"
"Of course, Binktop!" Phichit laughs, gesturing at the left pod. "Anything for Yuuri's friend!"
Binktop lets out a whoop and disentangles himself from Yuuri. He lightly steps onto the left pod and runs a hand throuh his silver hair. "Watch me, Yuuri!" He sends a playful wink in Yuuri's direction before nodding at Phichit.
"All right, let's do this!" Phichit flips the switch again. Nothing happens at first, so he turns the machine off and on while observing the monitors. Worry begins to creep into his expression as he starts fiddling with the controls, but still, nothing happens.
A gasp from the left pod directs their attention to Binktop, whose pendant is glowing brightly from inside his shirt. It seems to be resonating with the core machine of the teleporter, from which ominous sparks begin to fly out. Phichit shouts at Binktop to get off the pod immediately, but Binktop hears it too late.
A large wormhole, unlike the one Yuuri had seen briefly while he teleported, opens up in the space behind Binktop and appears to be sucking him in. Trying his best to hold his ground, Binktop cries out for help as he extends his hand. In a panic, Yuuri runs up to the left pod and tries to grab him, but his whole body disappears in a flash of light, and the wormhole closes in an instant. Yuuri is left alone on the pod, Binktop's golden pendant in his hand.
Phichit is the first to regain his voice after a few minutes. "What the hell... This wasn't supposed to happen..." Yuuri turns to his friend, who is kneeling by the controllers in shock. Long tracks of tears have washed away the layers of soot on his face.
He runs down to embrace Phichit, who is now trembling in his friend's arms. "Yuuri, I'm so sorry! I really didn't mean for this to happen!"
Yuuri runs his hands over his friend's back, ignoring his own swimming vision and the violent hammering of his own heart in his chest. Now is not the time to deal with an impending anxiety attack - not when Phichit needs his help.
"Phichit. Look at me," he instructs calmly. "Breathe with me."
Together, they go through the motions, inhaling and exhaling deeply in unison. Most of the time, it was Phichit who did this for Yuuri when they were still in college together. It always helped calm Yuuri down after an attack, and Yuuri is more than glad to return the favor now. They cannot afford to be too calm, however - they still have to find out where the hell Binktop went.
Some day this is turning out to be. Yuuri swears never to get up before five a.m. ever again.
Phichit looks up at him and nods determinedly. Yuuri lets go of his friend as he begins to go over his notes. "Either the telepod malfunctioned, or something else did it," he thinks aloud to the clearing at large. "I'm suspecting your friend's pendant had an unusual reaction with the core interface, causing a ripple in the space-time fabric or something."
Yuuri gapes at Phichit incredulously. "You mean, like, time travel?!"
"I don't know yet." Phichit bites his lower lip in deep thought. "That wormhole could have led anywhere. It's too dangerous to try anything at this point."
"We have to bring Binktop back, Phichit! There's no time!"
"I know that!" Phichit snaps, rubbing a blackened hand on his temple at the sudden outburst. "It's not as easy as it seems. We have to find out how to open that wormhole, for starters. There must be something about that pendant."
Yuuri lifts the pendant in his hand against the daylight. It is a small, round, golden medallion with intricate rose patterns bordering its circumference, hanging from a simple chain. The pendant also seems to be pretty old but well-maintained. He briefly wonders where Binktop must have gotten such a valuable trinket and how much it must have cost, but pushes these thoughts out of his mind.
A tiny spark jumps out of the medallion, causing Yuuri to drop the pendant onto the left pod in surprise. Immediately, it causes another reaction, violent gusts of wind forming around them as the wormhole opens once more.
"Well," Phichit laughs brokenly, "that was easy enough!" With a hand shielding his face, he struggles to walk against the wind's direction and tries to pick up the pendant off the ground.
Yuuri has other ideas, however. He uses his stronger body to his advantage and overtakes Phichit in a second, picking up the pendant and wearing it around his neck.
"Yuuri! What are you doing?!" Phichit shouts in alarm. "Get off the pod now!"
To be honest, he has no idea what he is doing, either. His body is already protesting his sudden decision, his heart rate going up, his breathing more rapid, and his hands slippery with sweat. But above all, Yuuri feels that it's the right decision. It's more reckless than heroic, by all means, but nevertheless the right one, just the same.
"I'll bring Binktop back!" he shouts at his friend. "I'll get us back home, I promise!"
Again with the stupid promises, but Phichit seems to finally support his decision. He nods determinedly and hands Yuuri a long, steel wrench. "It's my favorite one! Bring it back safely, okay?"
"Thanks, Phichit! I will." Yuuri waves the wrench nervously as he steps into the closing wormhole.
"Be careful, Yuuri!" Phichit shouts after him. "I'll try to follow you as soon as I figure things out!"
A chuckle escapes Yuuri's lips. It's just like his friend to jump at the call. If anyone is more suited to be the hero of this story, it would definitely be Phichit, and Yuuri, as the dutiful friend, would support him all the way. Funny how things have turned out the other way around this time.
For now, he, Yuuri Katsuki, will be the hero of this story, and he swears on his life to bring Binktop back.
Yuuri raises a thumbs-up to the fading image of his friend, not caring if he doesn't see it. He lets the distortion fill his senses completely until the black nothingness consumes him and claims his consciousness.

Now that I have all the cookies listed down and given their styles (except for the demons with their blood demon arts as that’s gonna take a while to put down) here’s the list for my Cookie Run Demon Slayer AU!
Most of the breaths are canon breaths however theres also some fan-made breaths that derive from canon breaths.
Here’s a few possible FAQs that I’ll answer before they are asked
Q1: Why do Brave AND Mala have Dance of the Fire God?
A1: I felt it was best for both of them to know. Gingerbrave because he’s filling a Tanjiro role and Mala because of her Tribe
Q2: What’s with Adventurer’s Estate? Why are some helpers listed as “Part-time?”
A2: Adventurer’s Estate is like KNY’s Butterfly Estate, by being used as an infirmary for injured demon slayers. While there are members of the corps other than Kakushis that help around the estate, some of these members only help during off time, and at other times are out on missions or training newer members, such as Blackberry
Q3: Why is Sugar Swan the leader of the Corps? Wouldn’t Millenial Tree be a better fit, or even the two leading together?
A3: I went off LINE canon of Sugar Swan basically being a creature of life and peace, they’re so passive that they barely move and every move they make is graceful. At least in this AU, Millennial Tree and Sugar Swan are in a relationship, but Millennial Tree decided to be a pillar on his own terms. Also Sugar Swan isn’t a swan in this au so calm down.
Q4: Wow Moonlight how come you get TWO tsugukos?
A4: Lesbianism. Actually on a serious note it’s because I didn’t want to make Wizard or Cream Puff above each other in any way. In canon works they’re both connected to Moonlight Cookie and I’d like it to stay that way.
Q5: Will you make AU designs for all the characters?
A5: Not sure yet, but probably a hard no. I’m a busy ass person and that’s easily over 100 cookies to design. Unless I find a group of people who would want to work and develop the AU with me, I’ll probably go here and there with designs and work on who I want to most likely. Design interpertations are always allowed and welcomed though
Ok wow this ended up being a long ass post. Regardless I hope you’re interested in the AU concept and if you are my inbox is open! I hope to have more info on the AU soon!

Hello, Jay here! I need a fellow Zutarian and rper to start a long-term relationship with me as Zutara-besties. I have a number of plots in mind that we can choose from, including:
A post-book 3 Zutara actually happening. It starts off a little awkward and coy. Zuko then a firelord, and Katara sa an ambassador. The Gaang reunites because of a big event (could be a wedding, could be Aang’s idea) and something goes terribly wrong which takes them into an adventure like old times (They can be in their twenties.)
Zutara in an arranged engagement/marriage to form stronger ties between the two “contradicting” nations. At first they’re very awkward with each other and still a little bit irritant but then they slowly fall in love and all that jizz...and have babies. Like...can you imagine their babies? I already have Zutara babies headcanons if you wanna hear.
The Blue Spirit, and The Painted Lady saves the nations together. At first they are oblivious that what they’re doing is actually teamwork but then one night they catch each other. Then they continue doing what they’re doing TOGETHER. Then they fall in love...then they reveal to each other their true identities.
Modern Zutara AU: COLLEGE STUDENTS. They reincarnate in this life, and imagine the Gaang reincarnate too...and fucken JET lol. Like the story could go that they were meant for each other but did not have a chance in the ATLA universe, but maybe one day they can actually be with each other in another time but like nobody actually said it but Zuzu and Tartar know it deep in their hearts and BOOM. They’re back...as millenials. Like imagine 2k17 honor student Zuko (lol, y’all got that?) living with his cool uncle and working as a waiter in a Japanese/Chinese teashop in the middle of for example: San Francisco, and 2k17 Katara studying to become a Marine Biologist and starts a feminist org at the university with 2k17 Toph and Suki...2k17 Zuko and Jet getting in trouble with the dean because of Katara and just kjehrfjlherklrferj.
We could even do all FOUR and all the ideas you have! I don’t give two flying bisons... I was even thinking of connecting that Blue Spirit and Painted Lady plot with the Modern AU.
I just need a partner who can promise me that we will be together 5ever and that we will have an East Asian FC for Zuko, and a Native American/Polynesian/Latin/South East Asian FC for Katara. I don’t even give a damn who I play I just need Zutara to happen. LIKE THIS OR HMU, BEST FANGIRL GETS THE PART.

The Three Pointed Compass
I was recently avidly doing online research into traveling, travel blogging, and ways to travel and live inexpensively, and I came across a TedX talk by Scott Dinsmore called “How to Find and Do Work That You Love.” Scott runs his own business called “Live Your Legend,” about following your passion and your heart and learning how to work based on how you want to live your life, not to live your life based on your work. He pointed out three aspects of a person painted on a compass that anyone looking to change their lives for the better should evaluate, to really understand what it is they want; what inspires them. These three things are 1) Unique strengths 2) Values and 3) Experiences. While he spoke, I started to get those butterflies I mentioned in my previous post; those harbingers of change and possibility. Some may call it a purely “Millenial” outlook on life, to feel like I can really do anything I set my heart to, but to me, it comes from my unique strengths, values, and my past experiences, that give me the calm confidence and knowledge that there is a world out there waiting for me; that my life is not already set in stone; that a 9-5 and quiet house in the suburbs, don’t have to be my reality if I so choose.
Scott spoke to this, and it resonated with me more than I can say. I then proceeded to spend the next two hours intermittently watching “The Bachelor” finale (because, well, it was important), and researching likeminded individuals who have found success in the full-time travel and travel blogging world. And as I listened to the Ted Talk, and did the research, my heart became enlivened and whole with possibility as I evaluated my strengths, values, and experiences. Because when I put it all together, I felt like my future just made sense, without even knowing it yet. I felt like I had what it takes, and that, excuse the cheesy expression, “the world is my oyster.” And in all of that, of course, I recognized my privilege and luck to be able to feel this way, and to have had experiences that have drawn me towards this. This is what went through my mind;
1) Strengths; I am strong, and I relate well to people. People open up to me and tell me their deepest feelings, and I can make them feel comfortable and loved. Empathy. These qualities made me feel like if I choose to travel, stay put, or anything in between, kindness and relating to people could carry me through. I then thought about my skills; amateur writing, taking pictures, childcare, cooking, and making any place I move to home. Leadership also takes a big place in my heart; I enjoy mentoring, speaking, and helping other people; heck, that’s what I have chosen as a career in Human Services! I want to make positive social change, and experience the world while doing it.
2) Values; Like I mentioned above, I want to help people. Kindness and empathy are held dear to my heart, and I always wish to live by following my heart, and happiness. I value genuine connection.
3) Experiences; The first thing I thought of was travel, of course. Whether studying abroad, learning Chinese and performing in a traditional Chinese poem reading competition, staying at a Buddhist Monastery for a week, Au Pairing in a village outside of Paris, trekking through the Sacred Valley in Peru, teaching developmentally disabled adults in Costa Rica and learning about environmental sustainability, waking up to see the sunrise over the Southern Alps in New Zealand and so many more...all of these travel experiences have defined who I am and what makes me the most confident and happy. Actually, I don’t feel like “travel” covers it, perhaps, “ways of living.” Because to me, “travel” means short term vacations, but what I enjoy the most is cultural exchange and experience. I have also had experience as a mentor, childcare provider, advocate for social justice, student in Human Services, sister, girlfriend, and friend. All of these define me.
All of this self exploration wasn’t to tell myself “Hey Laura, you’re pretty cool.” No. This was to connect the dots of my life, who I am, and how I can translate it into a way of living. And something clicked. I can write, take pictures, connect with people, lead, help, and travel...all at the same time as hopefully (in my dreams) making a living of some sort. Whether that means travel blogging to the point of making money, running some sort of online business, writing books or travel guides, freelancing for a company or a wonderful job that sends me around the world (that would be a miracle), or even just making my way around the globe with work exchanges, racking up different life paths and experiences along the way like some of the full-time travelers I’ve seen. Or a mix of it all! And even if my future doesn’t look like this, it can be what I choose based upon who I am. Maybe I find that getting a Master’s degree, and working in a nonprofit, or in policy as a Social Worker is my ultimate dream. And maybe, I can find a niche that allows me to do it all. But no matter what I end up doing, I know that I hopefully have decades to try everything; all the while making sure I can support myself, and live a full life.
So I will keep doing research; satisfying my Wanderlust nature of adventure for now, practicing writing and finding my voice, figuring out what is next, and dreaming how my life can be filled with love and happiness and peace.
My first step is hopefully to take a job in the middle of the Pacific Ocean on a 3 mile island; let’s see where I go from there :) Who’s with me?

Stucky Fellow Lost Tourists Au? :)
oooooooh I love it
1.  Steve’s never been out of the country before, so when he finally finished his undergrad degree his friends helped him scrape up the money to go to Paris.  Unfortunately, being a bunch of humanities majors who were just starting their first ‘adult’ jobs, no one else exactly had the money or the time off of work to join him. Initially he thought of bailing on the plan, of giving it all back and waiting a few years until Sam or Nat or someone was stable enough to come along with, but they were all stubborn asses who refused to take the money back and Steve was hardly one to be a coward.
2.  He planned the whole thing out obsessively, with agendas and honest-to-god maps (Nat teased him incessantly about being such a damned grandpa), packed and repacked his suitcase so as to have everything he could possibly need, then finally set off: he was so thorough about the packing bit that he ended up having to check a bag with all of his clothes and toiletries, then boarded the plane with nothing but his camera and sketchbooks and medicines and cash.
3.  In the end, it was a damned good thing that he’d decided on the carry-on... the flight from New York to London was easy enough, but there was a mix up at Heathrow in terms of his gates being changed and flight schedules being altered.  It was annoying to Steve, considering how OCD he could be with his details, but in the end he finally did make it to Paris, only a couple of hours behind schedule.  It was all fine... until he realized after an hour of waiting in the baggage claim area that his suitcase hadn’t made it along with him.
4.  For the other of our intrepid heroes: Bucky, at this point, had been backpacking around the world for the better part of a year.  College hadn’t worked out for him, much to his parents’ chagrin, and he needed time off to figure himself out and decide what he really wanted with his life after his internship at HYDRA Corp had proved that engineering wasn’t going to be it.  So in the end he’d packed a backpack and bought a one-way ticket to the Dominican Republic on a whim.  Ever since, he’s been randomly picking countries around the world to stay in for a few months, working random odd jobs and living out of hostels to afford room, board, and a plane ticket to his next destination.  So far he’s realized that he has a knack for learning languages and working with his hands, and feels more at peace with himself than he ever did while he was at NYU.  He misses the hell out of his family sometimes, though, and despite all of the incredible people he’s met along his journey, he can’t help feeling lonely sometimes.
5.  It’s that loneliness that had him on a train from St. Petersburg to Paris, just for the hell of it.  He ends up in a run-down hostel North of the city, full of an eclectic mix of Millenials from around the world.  Bucky’s gotten to know a couple of the people that have been staying for a while - the Maximoff twins and a quiet, slightly unnerving bio PhD candidate named Banner - when another new guy shows up to stay just before nightfall.  He’s small and high-strung and blond and gorgeous, and when he starts talking to Wanda Bucky overhears an accent that’s so familiar it hurts.
6.  And so begins the story of how two Brooklyn boys re-united completely accidentally in Paris, explored the city and became friends (once Steve finally got over the loss of his luggage and well-laid plans).  Steve taught Bucky about the art and architecture that he’d been studying for his entire life, while Bucky helped Steve learn how to relax and enjoy a little spontaneity (and, of course, a little accidental romance).
7.  In the end Steve’s shit is all returned to him a couple of days before the end of his trip, but he ends up ditching his plans to either hang with Bucky or to make sure that he joins Steve on his adventures.  And just before Steve’s due to return back to New York, they both start to realize how much they mean to one another, and how big of an impact they’ve already had on each other’s lives in just a short week of knowing one another.
8.  In the end Steve gets a ride back to the airport alone - they’ve already friended each other on facebook and gotten facetime and skype details, but it’s still hard as hell to say goodbye.  And when Bucky gets back to the hostel, ready to pack up his shit and move on to the next city the wind blows him to, the rest of the lodgers sit him down for a ‘pull your head out of your ass and go be with that guy you so clearly love’ speech.
9.  And that’s how the final climax begins - with Bucky racing to the airport and taking out the last of his money to pay for a one-way ticket to New York, praying that he ends up being able to catch Steve on-time.  Of course, he doesn’t have his actual flight information (he’s not a total creep)... by the time he gets to the boarding area and sees that Steve’s not there he’s afraid he’s missed his shot; but decides to go ahead with the flight anyway, unable to ignore the feeling in his gut that he’s going to regret it forever if he just lets Steve go for good.  Of course, because I’m a cheesy sap, they’d end up meeting in the terminal at JFK when they landed, with some big emotional ‘holy shit you followed me?’ scene and really vague confession on Bucky’s part that doesn’t come out and say he’s in love with Steve but makes it pretty damned obvious that that’s exactly what’s going on.
10.   And then the epilogue would be 5 years later, between Sam and Natasha and Wanda and Pietro and other gathered friends, good-naturedly bitching about their friends being total drama queens and forcing them all to drag themselves and their families to Paris, even though it would have been so much easier to have had the ceremony in New York... but they see Steve and Bucky dancing together and it’s so obvious that they’re so damned happy that the hassle of a destination wedding makes it all worth it.
Send me an AU and I’ll write 5+ headcanons about it

The Cursed Beings: Mantidrake (Benoit x Reader)
Warnings: Fear, adrenaline, blood, danger, scrapes, scratches, mantidrake, wolf, etc.
You shook your head while walking. Elpis had severely puzzled you, but you still felt uneasy. This place was completely wrong, you can tell. It felt weird, unsettling, and unsafe… And you clearly did not belong here. You cross your arms and gaze around discreetly. It's unsettling to look around, as the grass is wrapped weirdly around the trees. You stroke your arms when you hear a snap. You tighten and turn when you notice a big, growling beast. You felt a cold sensation; you'd never seen anything like this before. You step back. Your pupils dilate as you look at it.
"G-Good wolf…" You speak shakily before it charges at you. You panic and turn to run. You run as fast as you can, adrenaline rushing through your veins and your pulse beating in your ears. You didn't feel the scratches, the agony, or anything else; you were just concentrating on running. If you ran and heard the beast following you closely, the worst-case scenario could occur…
You trip.
You collide with the ground, scraping your arms. You gasp as you try to get up and run, but you reach a dead end. Your heart stops as you turn and hear the thing approaching. You turn and start backing up. You couldn't think or do anything; you froze. You couldn't think, your heart racing in your ears as you stared at the thing. Your breathing changes as you quickly back away from the beast. You couldn't turn away from it. You were terrified, but when you closed your eyes, you heard a roar, something strange, something draconic.
You were terrified, but you cautiously opened one eye and saw a draconic-like figure… It looked like a skeleton mantidrake. It rapidly defeated the beast that was after you. It was fierce, strong, and much bigger than Elpis. As you watch the beast fall, your blood runs cold and the mantidrake slowly turns to face you. Its red eyes are piercing, and the three scars on its eye stand out even more. You quickly begin to back up as it watches you quizzically.
You wanted to run, but your body screamed at you for doing so in the first place. The scratches and scrapes on your arms provided little solace because they were incredibly painful and stinging.
"What is a human like you doing out in the woods by yourself?" The mantidrake hissed, and you blinked. It was talking. "My brother should've had you leave this forest when you got here." The mantidrake let out a snarl. You could feel the cogs whirling in your head. You'd only spoken to one creature that could be compared to a mantidrake: Elpis.
"Are... Are you... Are you Elpis's brother...?" You said it shakily. The mantidrake halted for a second, observing you, before taking on an anthropomorphic form identical to Elpis'. You admit it: he was even more gorgeous than Elpis, but you could definitely see the resemblance.
"Yes, that's right. What brings you to our forest, human?" The mantidrake hissed quietly. His voice was unmistakably thick and gravelly. He approaches you, and you blink up at him.
"Uh… Um… M-My research team and I are studying this forest and how… uh… unnatural it is." You explain hesitantly. Before going any closer, the mantidrake glowered. He extends you his hands.
"Your hands, give them to me." The mantidrake practically commanded, but because you knew he was Elpis' brother, you weren't as terrified as you had been before. So…you did. You handed him your hands. He sat down in front of you as you saw the most beautiful thing that you'd never seen before.
He was using green magic on you. It slid around your arms and wounds with a clean and pleasant feeling of delicacy. It appeared and felt like the wind personified.
"And why did you remain here…?" The mantidrake looked up at you. His eyes were definitely a richer shade of red than his brother's.
"Uh… I- I have to do my research." You murmured this as you felt a flush come across your cheeks. He hums as you notice your wounds begin to heal slightly.
"Hm… Most humans are least have the common sense to turn and run." The mantidrake huffed, and you flushed more. You opened your mouth in protest, but he looked up at you. "I respect your drive, but you shouldn't be here. It is not safe for humans like you." The mantidrake chided gently. Despite its harshness, his voice seemed concerned and genuine about your safety.
"O…Okay…" You whisper as he pulls you up. You knew it more than ever. You needed to find your study team. It was not safe to be on your own. The mantidrake began guiding you across the woodland. He moved lightly among the trees, as if he were born to do so. He maintained a reasonable gap between the two of you, but he would occasionally pause and wait. You sensed he was waiting for you to catch up, so you increased your pace.
You become tense as you arrive at your campsite. You guessed he knew you were there with your study group; it was undoubtedly the most unnatural portion of the forest. As Dusk prepares for his own adventure, the mantidrake remains out of sight as he ventures into the forest. On impulse, you take his arm. His gaze flickers to you. They were stunning, you had to admit.
"Uh... Wait, uh... What's... What is your name?" You inquire. The mantidrake's eyes move slightly as he glances at you. He reaches over and plucks a petal from your hair. You flush when you look at him. He had a focused yet stern expression.
"Benoit. Be cautious the next time you enter this forest, human." He leans towards you, and you flush as he examines you. "I can't promise I'll be there to save you." Benoit huffs softly before backing away and retreating into the forest. You blink, feeling your cheeks burn.
Okay, it was… something. You can feel your face burning as Dusk calls you over…
Though a part of you wants to disregard safety and walk back in... Maybe a part of you wants to see the two again, or maybe you just found a place to get an adrenaline rush, who knows...

102Anni : Reading Rewind 30 things I learned from My 1st Festival Experience
Tumblr media
I've been watching Reading Festival Highlights on TV for as long as I've been old enough to appreciate real live music. A lot of the individual events that fuelled my passion for music itself took place on that soil and -truth be told - I'm still quite enchanted by Paramore's impromptu Unplugged performance of 'The Only Exception' in 2014 and caught up in the incredible energy of Pulp's 'Common People' from 2011, or Baby-Faced-Arctic-Monkeys' 'Mardy Bum' in 2006. It is sets like those - a long with the obvious : (obligatory mentions) Nirvana in "92 and The Cure in 2012 which led my teenage self to believe that Little John's Farm in Berkshire, in the last week of August,  might just play host to closest thing to Heaven on Earth that my young mind could have possibly fathomed. This year, I finally got to experience Reading Festival first hand. In all it's glory. As it's intended. Unfiltered. Uncensored . Unedited. Au Naturale... Ultimately, what I learned is that this supposed 'Heaven on Earth' perpetually smells like Festival Loos and the floor looks a lot like a Rubbish Tip. I guess that was to be expected, though and it wasn't all bad. Far from it. Here are some of the things that I'll be taking away from my 1st Festival Experience (not including all the really really cute new hareem trousers and a bad case of Festi-flu) / Lessons in life, people, camping and music that I obtained over the weekend.
Pack lightly.
There really is no need to bring enough food to last the whole weekend because you'll be sourcing most of your rations from the shady-looking food stalls in the campsite.
Having said this, you should always leave room in your backpack for Banana Bread. There's always room for Banana Bread.
And plenty of Hand Sanitizer / Cleansing wipes. You can never have enough of those.
Festival food never tastes as good as you think it will.
High Spirits and the consumption of various other spirits means that a Festival campsite might just be one of the most friendly environments you'll ever step foot in.
However, you're not obliged to make friends with everyone around you. There are some people that you don't want to be mixing with.
Alan and Steve have a new friend. His name is Collin and he's just as sought after as his mates. However, this year they're all in a popularity competition with Pickle Rick.
There's no such thing as an "adventure" in a campsite. Stay put until you find your bearings or you'll end-up in a Narnia of identical tents. Have a specifically designated meeting point with friends in case you get separated.
Find a distinctive tent nearby and remember where yours is in relation to that one. This special tent will be your homebase and a welcome sight when you're stumbling back to your tent in the middle of the night, armed only with the light projected by the screen of a dying phone.
Battery packs: you get what you pay for and stocking-up on Poundland chargers won't see you through the weekend. Invest in a proper battery pack (preferably one that's solar powered) with at least 20,000 output.
Similarly, Tents: you get what you pay for! These are camping essentials, not price cutting opportunities.
Who says Reading Festival isn't sophisticated enough for DIY cocktails?
9am Wake-up calls aren't anywhere near as harsh when it comes to being up in time to see your favorite band.
Bringing a Polaroid camera into the Arena? That will set you back about two minutes with security. Not to be searched, but because security are gonna want to have a go with the camera.
Watching an entire Jimmy Eat World just to hear 'The Middle' - totally worth it.
Cheering at the mention of Snow Patrol during a comedy show won't do any favors.  They are the punchline and now so are you. #Justice4SnowPatrol. It takes a lot of guts to spend so long in the middle of the road
'Rick and Morty' might just be the only socially acceptable response when a stranger asks what your favorite cartoon is.
Crowds on TV that appear to stretch-back as far as the eye can see: Sometimes, it's all (incredibly well crafted) camera trickery. An Illusion. I learned this during Kasabian's set. What we were seeing in front of us was a half-arsed, unresponsive collective of a couple hundred people who couldn't even pretend that they were having fun. What we -and everyone watching from home- saw on screen was a nonexistent swarm of bodies clinging on the band's every word.
I am getting old.
People go to pretty extreme measures to sneak Pineapples into the Arena. If ever there's a crisis which involves hiding pineapples, I trust fellow Millenials with the future.
Humanity only has 4 years left after all the Bees die. SAVE THE BEES
Sun cream 10 / 10 should have been on my list of Festival Essentials.
Sometimes it's just gonna hit you that the guy from that band you love -who you previously thought was really attractive- bears a damming resemblance to that guy you hate. And there's absolutely nothing you can do other than accept the fact the band and their music will never be quite the same again.
No, that wasn't the actual Oli Sykes who you swore you saw watching oh wonder.
Bump into a High School Peer whilst you're in the midst of singing along to Neck Deep at the top of your lungs? Pretending you don't speak English isn't going to work.
Stay Hydrated !!!
The opening bars of 'I bet you look good on the Dancefloor' blaring through the speaker system in the NME tent between sets evokes a better response from the crowd than most headliners.
There still ain't no party quite like an S-Club Party
Got the Monday Morning / Hometime blues? Why add some fun to your day.Watching the onsite Fire Squad assemble around a burning abandoned tent is a lot more enjoyable when everyone sings the 'Ghostbusters' Theme tune.

The Cursed Beings: Manticore (Elpis x Reader)
Warning: Manticore, kind of scary, scars, flirty, etc.
"This is torture!" You shout as you walk. Dusk looks over and rolls his eyes.
"I could show you actual torture… We have to split up here." Dusk places his hand on his hip as he looks over at Dusk. You huff at the skeleton before heading into the trees. You dislike the fact that it is so silent. This was awful. Your body tenses when you hear a gentle snap.
"Gotta go, gotta go…" You start whispering when you believe you feel a tail touch your leg. You tighten and jump as you stumble and fall to the ground. You gasp in pain as you hear a gentle giggle. You stiffen up as your gaze meets a pair of deep crimson eyes. You become pale when you notice the scar on its right eye.
"What's a pretty thing like you doing all by your lonesome….?" The creature purred as it moved closer. You might call the voice deep and masculine. It raises a paw as you flinch, but you feel it barely brush something.
"Wh…Wha…" Your mouth opens and closes like a gaping fish. It chuckled and nonchalantly shook a leaf from its paw. You focus, and you can tell he's a manticore.
"You got some leaves in your hair. Now, are you going to answer my question or am I going to have to repeat myself?" The manticore quietly circles you. It's tail dragging lazily on the floor. You gulp as you watch him circle you.
"M-My uh- my team was doing some research on the legends of these parts..." You sputter out and he hums. He leans towards you his eyes glowing. You blink as he looks more skeleton than Manticore. The manticore chuckles before he pulls back. He was standing on his hind legs, he looked like a very tall skeleton. He sits down in front of you. He raises one leg and rests the other down. He puts his chin on his knees.
"Is that right…? Well, you are looking at one." The manticore smirks, making you blush. He was undeniably attractive.
"Oh, one of the legends…? No way… They existed centuries ago." You spoke shakily as he hummed and leaned against his hand.
"I am Elpis… Sounds familiar…?" Elpis, the manticore, smirked as you tensed. How was this possible? It should not be. He shouldn't be…
"Y-Yes, but h-how…?" When you ask, Elpis hums and gestures to his cursed form. He smirked slyly.
"I'm cursed." He leans on his leg, smirking. He appears to shrug slightly in reaction to your stare. "So, got any questions, or are you going to keep staring?" Elpis makes jokes while he glances at you.
"I-I didn't actually think-" you begin, but he appears to giggle slightly. He leans his head against his hand.
"Yeah, yeah, now with the questions." Elpis seemed to be encouraging you to talk. You blink, but you grab your notes and stare at him intently.
"Uh- okay... What are you? How did this happen? And um... Are you the only one?" You ask. Elpis hums as he stretches a bit. His wings spread a bit as he does so.
"I'm a skeleton manticore. Gods happened. Also no, I am not the only one." Elpis chuckles as he leans on his hand.
"Uh… So- so were you always…?" You couldn't find the perfect words to say when you asked. Elpis observes you silently.
"Do you mean I was always a skeleton manticore? No, I was a regular person many years ago… But I don't remember how I used to look so I'm just a manticore now." Elpis shrugs and rests back against the tree. He crosses his legs crisscross-style. "Well, I guess I have some things to do. But…perhaps we can meet again?" Elpis grins as he pokes your nose. He returns to his manticore form and does the cat stretch before flying away.
"Wait- ah… He's gone…" You blink as he flies away… It can't get any worse than this. You couldn't feel the other two sets of eyes on you.

The Cursed Beings: The Negativity Dragon (Dusk x Verbena)
Warning: Curses, death, etc, gods. Short af.
Dusk huffed as he moved through the jungle. His brothers were looking for their study buddy, who returned scratched and damaged. He passed through the woodland. He was more relaxed about the forest than anything else. It wasn't natural, but neither was he. So he wasn't afraid of it. He was just working hard, and it was a little unsettling. He cuts some vines out of his way.
He had to find her, of course, how else would he study this forest more? She had to still be here. She could not have left or at least he hoped she didn't.
"Hm… I'm presuming the plants here are growing faster since there are no animals to clear the way." Dusk breathes softly as he moves through. He looks about softly, sensing something, but is unsure what it is.
He walks with his hand pressed on the tree. It's too quiet, yet he knows there are animals within. He hasn't encountered anyone who doesn't appear to have predatory motives. Not that he is terrified of them; he can easily defeat them. He runs his hands along the trees. He looks around and comes to a stop when he notices a dragon-like figure moving through the woods. He knew who it was, it was her, and despite his judgment, he followed her. He had heard of her, but he did not know her name.
He glances around and travels through the woodland when he notices a human washing her skin. She has negativity dripping from her hands. He approaches close, and she tenses. Her eyes expand and dilate slightly with terror. She starts to back up.
"Hold on." Dusk rapidly reassures. The dragon stays still. Her eyes move slightly as he approaches. "Are you one of the cursed beings?" Dusk asks openly. The woman shifts slightly and moans.
"Yes, I am Verbena." The dragon approached and introduced herself. He had heard a lot about Verbena and read numerous myths about her. He gets closer, and Verbena moves out of his way. "Why are you here? It is not safe for someone to wander around here at random." Verbena hums softly as she turns away.
"We're doing research on these parts and you're one of the legends we're studying." Dusk hums while looking at her. Verbena glances away and leans into her palms. He examines her as she moves away from him.
"I am, but I'm not going to answer your questions." Verbena looks over at him. She moves her feet through the water. The lake became organically blackened due to the energy of the forest. Her wings conceal her form.
"I am not going to ask you too. Your tales appear to provide the answers I seek." Dusk glances away, and Verbena sighs slightly. She knew she was going to be known and cursed throughout the world. She had periodically forgotten her life, but it would occasionally return with time.
Verbena looks over and sees Elpis and Benoit watching ready to strike. She sighs as she closes her eyes and she leans her head back. She sighs as she looks away.
"You should go before the others come over," Verbena warns, but she sighs. She waves the skeletons away. The two leave, but not before giving Dusk a warning gaze.
"Are all three of you here? What happened to the local animal population?" Dusk asks, looking at her. Her true cursed form causes a light flicker. She looks over, her eyes glowing.
"Well, the gods intervened, and indeed, all three of us are present… This is the Forsaken Forest, our home." Verbena keeps her speech calm and quiet. It never wavers or changes. She stands up slowly as she looks at him.
"You three do know we're not leaving until we learn everything, right?" Dusk's voice remains calm and clear. Verbena sighs quietly and looks away. She looks back before closing her eyes.
"Yes, I do... But be careful where you step Dusk…" She tilts his chin with her hand. He didn't feel the fire since her purple eyes shone softly. "Or else, you will regret your decision." Verbena pulls her hand back as she returns to her cursed form and makes her way back into the jungle.
Dusk stared, his heart pounding quickly. The desire to assist his brothers in saving this forest and the cursed beings within blazed fiercely in his SOUL.
He would never let another hero or monster injure her again. He pledged to himself that he would not cease.

The Cursed (Sona Backstory)
Warning: Betrayal, injury, cursed, etc.
All she ever did was devote herself completely to the Deity of Life. Perhaps this is why she was punished by them. She prayed every day for good health, happiness, and a thriving nation... Her prayers were met with coldness, yet she never lost trust in the divine.
She expressed her love every day, hour, and minute... Hoping for a response from her adored Deity.
But when she eventually did...
All she could recall was the agony, the sorrow, and the beseech with the almighty to show her mercy... Instead, they transformed her into a creature that would be perceived as a monster.
--------
How long has it been...? Verbena lost track of time. She moaned, her body aching from the blade and daggers that had pierced her scaly flesh. She sighed when she heard the sound of people approaching.
"We must slay the beast!" The voice of the "Hero" called, and Verbena tensed. No, not again. Please!
When Verbena was caught by magic chains, she stood up and started running. No! No!! She struggled against the chains, but they held her tightly. She closed her eyes and then fought back. She would not kill them, but she needed to protect herself. So she did. She defended herself.
She freed herself, but she didn't kill them. She sighed as she closed her eyes. Her body sore from the fresh reopening of her wounds.
Would no one try to befriend her...? Would she be all alone forever...?
She didn't know what to say. She couldn't do anything. All she could was try and hold on.
But she was tired... So... So tired. So lonely... So hurt...

Cursed Skeleton Brothers (Info Dump)
Warning: Curses, kind of horrifying cursed forms, etc.
Elpis - Cursed Sans
Personality: A very honest, but slightly flirtatious skeleton. He has little interest in his wretched status and rarely speaks about it. He can be harsh and icy when initially met, but he will soon warm up to people he trusts. He fits the part of a villain perfectly, almost too well, because that is what was allotted to him when he was cursed. He has a slow-burning anger and is extremely passionate. He is interested in a variety of subjects. He appears to have forgotten his pre-curse appearance and is no longer interested in it.
Appearance: Pre-curse, he was a skeleton with a large golden tooth and seemed to have no scars to be seen.
In his cursed form, he takes on the form of a manticore. His tail seems to have the barb of a scorpion on it. He is a skeleton though and it adds to his fear factor. He has a large nasty scar on his right eye. He has a bunch of noticeable cracks on his skeleton. In his anthropomorphic form, he still has the features of a manticore (wings and a scorpion tail).

Benoit - Cursed Papyrus
Personality: A cold and faraway skeleton. He goes for the throat and becomes angry when someone threatens him or his loved ones. He's a bit smart and clever. When he first meets someone, he appears harsh and frigid, but he softens over time. He fits the role of a villain wonderfully, almost too well, for it was assigned to him when he was cursed. He has a slow-burning rage and is intensely passionate. He is interested in several topics. He looks to have forgotten and no longer cares about his pre-curse appearance. He loves puzzles.
Appearance: Pre-curse, he was a skeleton with a large scar on his right eye.
In his cursed form, he takes on the form of a matidrake. He seems to favor the more draconic side of things with a somewhat. His tail seems to be that of a dragon's. He is a skeleton though and it adds to his fear factor. He has three large nasty scars on his right eye and one on his mouth. He has a bunch of noticeable cracks on his skeleton. In his anthropomorphic form, he still has the features of a mantidrake (wings and a dragon tail).
