At their core, the cyberformed are still human, even if they've been twisted into a new mold, remnants of their origins are still there.

Art is one of them.

It started in practicality, carving and shaping tools, utensils, bowels, and items that brought a taste of civilization back after clawing their way out of metal soil and into a new world that had been stripped of everything familiar. Then it turned into remaking the pieces for games, or characters from media. Carving for the sake of something to do, keeping hands busy so your mind can't remember.

Paints were made as they explored the new flora of this world, old ways, and old skills adapting and working as they ground up burnt silver bark, glowing plants, and dirt that still held traces of the pink, yellow, and oranges that marked the mountains they came from.

People marked the caves they lived in. Designed the homes they built. Color and art leaked into everything as memory and grief flowed. People remade portraits of the faces they used to own, of the family that never woke up, of the friends they never found. They sculpted bowls, cups, and vases, etched with designs of feathered birds, green forests, and the old oceans.

They crafted dolls for their children, forming books of carefully pressed pages, and they created stories.

They retold ancient legends, works that they grew up reading, and the life Earth used to live. They whispered about the dead long gone, about Roman kings, about Egyptian queens. Arthurian Knights, a warrior named Percy, a family of superheroes, a girl who tricked her Other Mother and won her life.

No one spoke of the aliens. No one but one little boy whose big brother begged him to keep his secret. A little Esquivel only knew the stories of a valiant bug and not the bloody war he brought.

Art heals and it soothes. It writhes and it screams. It's human.

And as humanity was finding itself again, the simplest of the arts could never be ignored.

They don't possess a voice box that's structured like a bot, their designs are so much more fragile, so much more irreplaceable. But Humanity doesn't know that. All they know is the shaky notes that squeak out in the dark nights. The lullabies that comfort here just as they did in the world before. They know the haunting calls those songs can carry, how notes can say what a word can't. They know the cacophony of voices harmonizing, of giggling renditions of Titanium and Never Gonna Let You Go, Never Gonna Let You Down~

Laughter, warmth, memory.

When Cybertronains witness it they are bewitched. There is no magic in those colored lines, no spell engraved in those sculptures, no dark power in those melodies. There is a sense of something greater, a connection to a world they would never have the honor to know. It is humanity's soul that stares back at them.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

It depends on who you are, but assuming that you are his romantic partner, then I could see him being very affectionate. Both physically and emotionally. Since he doesn’t age or has the ability to die, Patrick would hold onto you and love you as much as he could, since there will be a day where he is gonna lose you. Shows his affection mainly through physical affection, its not unusual for some part of him to be coiled around you whenever you guys are together.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Patrick would be a great best friend, he’s ready to square up with anybody who crosses you, always batting for your team as long as you aren’t extremely in the wrong. He has moments where he would be quite insightful as well, if that’s what you needed. The friendship probably starts because you are a hero, villain, etc, too. Or because you were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Pat loves to cuddle, he wraps himself around you like a blanket most nights. He will keep human shape if that’s what you prefer though, he just loves to be completely wrapped around you and just squeeze you close.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

I could imagine part of Pat wants to settle down and just live a normal life, but its hard when you have the powers he has. he would be willing to give it a try though, if that’s what you wanted too. I’m not sure I can imagine him as the greatest cook out there, but I also don’t see him as someone who’s against doing chores and manual labor.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

It depends on why you guys break up. If it was something like to keep you safe, then he might come up with some cover or excuse. But if it was for some more painful reason like cheating or something along those lines, then he would be a lot more blunt and just tell his partner to their face that its over and why its over.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Like settling down, I can imagine part of Pat really wants to get married. Hes loyal to a fault when it comes to the one he sees as his one and only, and it all depends on his partner how fast he wants to get married. I could see him as the kind to have dated for a short while and think “yup, I’m gonna marry them”, but he doesn’t want to rush you.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

I think Pat would forget his own strength sometimes, resulting in too crushing hugs or you getting thrown around from he’s excited, but he always apologizes whenever it happens. Hes also gone through quite a lot in his life, so he would have a lot of insight in emotions, but I could imagine its hard for him to talk about at times.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Yes I think Pat doesn’t just like hugs. He loves hugs and he would hug his partner any chance he gets. Just being close to you is a blessing for him, especially if it’s after that time he was “dead” and putting himself back together for thousands of years.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

It depends. Some might see Patrick as somebody who would drop the L-word immediately after you guys start dating, but hes also been through quite a lot and has lived a long life with a lot of experiences, so this is an area where I could imagine he takes his time since it’s a very serious word for him.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

I don’t think he gets jealous super easily, since hes sure in his relationship with you. That doesn’t mean he never gets jealous, just that he doesn’t get jealous by small or everyday things. He still get jealous if somebody else flirts with you, which ends up with him hooking an arm around you and butting in in some way.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Like hugging, Patrick would love to kiss. He kisses you all over, littering you in pecks all over your face, neck, hands, etc. but when it comes to kissing you on the lips, Pat would take his time to really put his love in it. he loves to kiss you pretty much anywhere, but he does prefer on the lips. Which is also why he likes being kissed on the lips the most. He comically melts every time you do, since he has the ability to do so.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

In the comics, Plastic Man has a kid or kids, but it all depends on you if you guys have any. I do imagine he’s great with kids though, taking his time with them and letting them feel safe and heard, especially since he grew up with an abusive father. He wouldn’t want kids to feel unsafe around him.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Pat is one of those people I can imagine wakes up refreshed and bright eyed, or is it goggled in his case? Hes always more refreshed than you, but he likes to just lay and admire you for a while. Being stereotypically romantic, Pat would probably also bring you breakfast in bed if you guys have time for that. Likes to wake you up with kisses before your alarm goes off.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

When he’s really tired, Pat will just start outright melting or deflating and collapsing on the floor or on top of you, sighing and complaining about how tired he is. Ends up with you dragging his deflated body to bed where you guys can cuddle, which is one of his favorite times of the day. Because of his powers, I don’t think Patrick needs much sleep, but he wants you to get a healthy amount of sleep.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

He comes across as a very easygoing and bright guy, but I think it would actually take quite a while for Patrick to open up about himself and his past, like his childhood or how he used to be a criminal, unless you somehow already knew that, like if you were a hero too. Things would get told little by little over time as he starts to feel safer and deeper connected, most stuff you learn being from comments or things he does without thinking too much about it.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

When it comes to you and everyday things, I think Patrick would have quite a lot of patience. Why get angry about not being on the same page about dinner, or who needs to do which chore, especially when you can live and have lived as long as Patrick. He would get frustrated and angered if you put yourself in danger though.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

He shocks you by remembering quite a lot about you, remembering small details you have mentioned maybe once or twice. He tries to remember important days too, but he never feels bad if you don’t remember it in return.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

When you agreed to be his partner, or if you guys are married, when you said yes to marry him. Other than that, his favorite moments are the small everyday domestic things, like going shopping together, cooking together, or just sitting and watching a movie.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Being a superhero, there is a level of protectiveness in Patrick, especially with the kinds of baddies he fights and the kind of rivalry he has going on. He doesn’t joke about your safety, and would also make sure you teach you how to defend yourself, or get you in contact with other heroes that could keep you safe if he couldn’t.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Goes comically over the top, its honestly charming how much he cares. Like the type to set up a whole thing on the beach with balloons, roses, candlelight and the works. If you don’t like huge shows though, Pat would do something more lowkey but just as meaningful.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

I could see a bad habit of his being not telling his partner when he goes on missions, or dangerous missions. I don’t think he does it on purpose most times, it just slips his mind since its such a normal part of his life. He always makes sure to apologize and make up for it though, and he does try his best to remember.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Pat would act like he doesn’t care too much about his appearance. But I think after a while of dating you, he might start doubting himself, seeing as he has one outfit and one color scheme. Hes pretty good at hiding it, but you’ll figure it out at some point where you reassure him that it doesn’t bother you.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

He would. Those times he’s gone longer periods without his partner always left him feeling hollowed out and like something important was missing. This is also why he does his best to live life to the fullest with you, since he knows there is gonna be a day where its just gonna be him. He doesn’t want to think about it, but he lays awake at night sometimes thinking about it.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

A cat person. He doesn’t hate dogs, he just likes cats more. He always jokes that they’re long and loose like he is, and that like cats, he’s a liquid too.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

If you were a judgmental person, and didn’t believe that people could change if they truly wanted too. With his background and experiences, I couldn’t see Patrick dating somebody who looked down on others, especially if that other person was in a bad spot.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

Clingy sleeper, like you don’t need a blanket because he just turns into the blanket and wraps around you like a burrito. Better get used to not being able to move too much at night, it’s like a sleeping bag, or like a bat with its wings wrapped around it.

Hope you don't mind even more asks about mepad but he's so interesting and you have me curious now. I love thinking about how the meeple characters in human contexts. I had smiliar ideas when working with the concept with friends a while back- that they're cyborgs and with each 'generation' they're significantly less human. I imagine mephonex is barely organic, if at all.

I assume then mepad is more robotic than mephone is, so what does mephone have going on? Could he pass as mostly human if it weren't for his odd abilities? Or is there something still distinctly not-human there?

Also fascinated by the implication of autopsy scars.... was he dead before he was given cybernetics?? You mentioned some sort of injury led to the implant, are these tied together?

i think the main jist of my concept for them being cybernetic is how they function in the show. because like, cobs says mephone doesn't need food, but why does he have a mouth? why does he want to eat? generations before and after mephone dont have mouths at all. was this because of mephone? and, when we compare him to bot, he seems more... organic.

ah, most of my humanized headcanons stem from how i was made to feel about these characters while watching the show. like i felt that the meeple seem partially organic and seemed less and less so as they got more "advanced." additionally, comparing them to bot it feels like their limbs are organic when bot is constantly flexing their robotic limbs and when mephonex's limbs are visibly robotic. however, that very well could just be something the meeple werent built to do. nonetheless, im going to have fun and theorize that the reason cobs needed the organic energy was to power the more sentient meeple. maybe he already had some or found some before needing to go all space colonizer. but i digress

i havent ironed out the details of mepad's deal yet when talking about human stuff. buuuuttt im toying around with the idea that the body, the person that the body was before it was mepad, died. and cobs was like. "i can fix this" and replaced his shit with robotic parts, but in turn made him into uhm. a cyborg. servant? thats what the meeple are it seems, at least in inanimate insanity infinity it seemed that way. i think cobs dabbled in some weird shit

Case #1 - Yue Qingyuan

Now, I feel like he would either get along splendidly with Jiang Fengmian or absolutely hate the man, no in between.

Because, on the outside, they both look pretty similar. Middle aged men, sect leaders, always smiling, traumaticed with the dead of their not-quite-brothers. That sound like bonding material, right?

But there is a 50% chance that they might hate eachother the same way you hate someone who is similar to you because you hate yourself. So, you pour all of yoir self hate into the person who is the most similar to you and blame them for their own shortcomings; the same way you subconsciously blame yourself for yours.

Case #2 - Shen Jiu

Putting him on the Cloud Recesses, I want him to explore what it would be like to live in a sect where he was only allowed to meet the men (pray for him). But, the men are nice. They aren't rude, they don't make uo rumors about him and they don't insult him.

At one point, he is 100% convinced the wall of rules is some type of brainwashing machine and all these people are victims of Lan Qiren. Because to him, how can it be possible for men, the most despicable creatures in existence, to be naturally good people? And well-mannered too?

Before long, he starts pressing the disciples bottoms, trying to get what he believes is a facade to slip.

Enter: Lan Wangji

Shen Jiu's reaction to meeting a talented, yet kind young master; who was fed with a golden spoon his entire life and never had to fight for anything, was not the best (at least on the inside).

He wanted to pour tea on his head.

It looked lik no matter what he did, Lan Wangji was perfect in everything he did. And, oh, how that pissed him off.

Maybe in another universe, he could've nurtured the kid's talents instead of instantly try to bring then down.

Bonus: Wei Wuxian

When Shen Jiu meets Wei Wuxian he was already made aware of all the rumors that circulated around him. So much so that he knew more about him than all the people on the cloud recesses combined.

It didn't surprise him to find out just how wrong the rumors were when he saw just how badly he was treated on the hands of his so called benefactor's wife.

He felt angry that so many people insisted he was favored by the man, when the only 'favor' he was bestowed was his title and a little food. 'Favored' was not what you would call hitting someone with a spiritual weapon, or treating them like a mere servant to your children.

Nedless to say, he did not enjoy his stay at Yumeng Jiang at all.

Okay obligatory DnD person as per the Dungon Meshi post(dnd/fantasy au + our life is amazing and I love it) but also I just wanted to say that there is a subclass of elves in dnd called aquatic elves that are kind of a happy mix between a mermaid and a, well, normal elf. I stick more towards spooky rather than nautical campaigns myself, so I’m not too familiar, but if I remember correctly they’re amphibious but with two legs rather than full mermaid.

Also obviously please ignore if you have different ideas but based off of what people have written about battle roles I could absolutely see some subclasses for the four!

Derek I could absolutely see as a Paladin(subclass possibly being oath of devotion or glory) basically the more defensive tank guys bound by an oath they make to themselves or someone important to them, which gives them a little spellcasting as well as actual auras that buff their allies later on.

Baxter I could see being a Bard (College of Swords), or what I kind of think of as a sort of battledancer. It would be a little less of a full spellcaster, but you can do special flourishes when fighting with a rapier which I always imagine as pseudo-dancing, plus he’d still get all the flashy bard spells. And to top it off, Bards actually use their charm(charisma stat) to cast spells which just screams Baxter to me.

Cove is a little harder but if you were going with him having a fish/animal companion while still being a melee fighter a Ranger(Beastmaster or Swarmkeeper) would be a good fit IMO, obviously with the Cove Creater he’s harder to pin than Baxter or Derek, but Ranger is pretty flexible. You basically get to choose a companion that’s from the land, air, or sea; and they can help you out in battle and follow you around, or as Swarmkeeper he could have his swarm be a school of fish.

Ruri is obviously a bit harder because you know your OC best, but if you really wanted to lean into more into the familiar/animal buddy route. Druid(circle of the shepherd) is always a fun choice! It’s kind of like the more spellcaster version of rangers’ Swarmkeeper where you can summon a lot of critters while still having some super strong elemental spells.

But anyway! I hope this wasn’t too long, I saw some (kinda) DnD our life content and I couldn’t resist! But thank you again for the adorable art of the main boys(and your lovely OC!) in a fantasy setting!

Also one last note about Druid is while druids have a lot of elemental spells (create water, spike growth, etc.), they also have the ability to do something called wildshape, where they can shapeshift into an animal for either out of battle(wildshape into a mouse to get under the crack in a door, then returning to normal and unlocking it) or battle (at later levels imagine fighting a spellcasting bear or even dragon) but also has more silly implications like wild shaping into a songbird to sing with Baxter, or a cat or sloth to ride on Cove’s shoulder.

Hello! I have a bunch of lore I made up myself for Piscciss (and Piscciss Volann) because I generally did not like what we got in series. So this is a small compilation of headcanons I have for my own version of Piscciss, some of which I have shared before.

I’m open to suggestions but don’t be offended if I’m not interested in what you’re throwing out there qwq

Will continue to update when I feel like it, also they're in no particular order and I'm sorry.

Piscciss isn't just a giant empty ocean with a small planetary core like in canon. Its an actual planet that’s surface is covered in 99% water, and "land" that’s exposed is too small to be habitable by much more then some planets, insects, and small amphibious creatures.

The infinity map piece as presented in the Aggregor arch still exists, but instead it served as a geothermal regulator that kept the planets core from causing massive undersea volcanic eruptions

Piscciss Volann are Apex predators with no naturally occurring predators of their own

Piscciss is home to vast underwater cities filled with Piscciss Volann

They have an incredibly diverse ecosystem that they coexist in much better then say humans do in earth ecosystems

Female Piscciss Volann are typically larger then their male counter parts and its the only sexual dymorphism they have

The planet is ruled by a matrilineal monarchy (only Females inherit the throne)

Queens are especially large coming in at massive sizes up to 20 feet in length, they also have bio-luminescence across their whole body (as opposed to just their lure) and often have cultures of coral growing off of them.

The existence of queens started early in their species evolution as a matriarch with special abilities that would give their civilization the upper hand against predators, but as of currently they exist only as leaders.

However queens are not just figure head leaders, they also serve as military heads, and see something themselves, fighting to protect her people.

Pyros is the Star that Piscciss orbits

The Pyrosccian system is a binary star system, which means there is a second star present with the system

the wars that have been waged between Piscciss and Pyros have mostly been over who the solar system REALLY belongs to

The last war to happen was during Patelliday’s childhood

Piscciss Volann can change their biological sex at will (there are 450 species of fish that can do this so...)

Piscciss Volann partake in Funerary Cannibalism

Piscciss' primary exports are high pressure resistant crafts, and water friendly breathable and self healing textiles

Piscciss Volann are a species who like to sleep in the middle of the day so they dont have to put up with the sun when its at its peak

There are towns on piscciss located in shallower parts of the planet called tidal towns because during a low tide they would be pretty much exposed. Thankfully the moisture thick atmosphere of piscciss means breathing is a non-issue

Piscciss as a rather large moon close to their planet, the drags massivemountain sized tides incredibly slowly across the surface. Years are marked by tidal positions.

Piscciss has a second smaller moon orbiting much faster that causes smaller more frequent tide changes.

Piscciss Volann flirt via visual displays and hunting for eachother

Piscciss Volann reproduce sexually before later laying eggs, they can lay anywhere between a single egg up to a clutch of 5, anymore is increasingly rare.

Larval Piscciss Volann have semi-transparent skin, rounded faces with no defined muzzle, large eyes, very sharp and very tiny glass like teeth, and only have a tail. As they grow older their skin thickens until it is completely opaque, and around toddler age they gain the ability to switch to legs.

Piscciss Volann hold "hatching parties" for when their eggs are supposed to hatch, it is similar to a baby shower but the baby is arriving.

Hatching Parties give new born PV early life socialization

Adult Piscciss Volann are (literally) hot blooded which is why they are so sensitive to increases in temperature.

Their blood contains anti-freeze proteins that prevent them from freezing to death, and is also blue.

The bones in a piscciss volann's legs are segmented and flexible, and the skin and muscles are fibrous and can detach and reach to eachother allowing for an easier change between legs and tail (inspired by https://insane-mane.tumblr.com/post/650463030887530496/funnee-feesh-and-beeg-dawg-jk-ripjaws-was-fun )

The ability to switch between tails and legs is not naturally occurring and is a result of self genetic modification that appeared thousands of years before the shows current time line

Only 1% of the overall piscciss volann population has the original genetics

Not all piscciss volann with the gene develop the ability to switch their tails to legs, some have a condition that prevents the gene for it from expressing itself and preventing that ability from manifesting when it's supposed to

That being said piscciss volann can loose the ability to switch between legs and tail either because of naturally occurring reasons like being disabled, sick, or elderly. Although it is more common to loose their legs, there are also cases of them being unable to regain their tail.

Loosing their ability to transform can also be inflicted upon them through medical procedure

Piscciss Volann have nictitating lenses that they keep drawn over their eyes while out of water to prevent their eyes from drying out

Public nudity is not an uncommon occurance on Piscciss, like many other alien species Piscciss Volann often believe that clothes are ultimately unnecessary and optional. So don't be surprised if you see a Piscciss Volann swimming around in only jewelry or nothing at all.

Due to 80% of their evolution and social development being underwater, they had the downfall of not having access to fire. So as such they found other ways to develop technology and energy. The main being from animals. Starting with domestication to selective breeding of animals to use as tools, and eventually bio engineering even more organic organisms for special jobs. As such Pisccian technology is incredibly techno-organic, and they rely heavily on bio-engineered living tools and wetware.

Piscciss Volann are a type 1.5 civilization (in comparison humans are at a 0.7)

Piscciss looks very much like this planet and the purple is thick kelp forests

Pisccian language has a very similar appearance to cuneiform

Pisccian spoken language sounds like fish noises! It can't be spoken on land, and can't be heard by humans and other non-aquatic species underwater without special equipment

Android Hwang Hyunjin x Male Reader

Synopsis: Humans went extinct decades ago, Y/N found himself waking up in an unfamiliar place with no memories of what happened, only an android and a possible second human to keep him company.

A/N • My attempt at writing third person POV i was having a hard time at this! This was suppose to be my 200 Followers special huhu but I didn't manage to finish it at that time it was long ago as well like 2021 probably😭

Plot/Idea on Scratch - 9/10, I am a sucker for sci-fi and I eat it up regularly, haha Im a science nerd what can I say I hope to do more sci fi in the futuree writing.

Writing at that time - 7/10, kinda good for a first attempt at third person but generally I dont like third person povs with x reader fics 😭! I think my wording is owkay here.

“Wh— Where am I...?” He mumbled out, the light at the ceiling was blinding and once he sat up the chill that was surrounding him gradually disappeared. He turned to the side and noticed he was in some sort of container.

“A hospital?” He thought, weirded a bit at the moment.

He sat up straight and look around his surroundings, his blurry vision from the blinding light before now much clearer to him.

He was in a white room, like clean and pure white with lines of silver engraved on the wall.

What caught his attention though was another person, standing with his head bent as if he was nodding. “What is this place...”

Is he in heaven? In a experimental facility? He had a lot of questions surging through his nerves.

Where am I?

The male inside the opened ‘container’ stretched his muscles before standing up and walking over to the weird person.

He tapped his shoulder, Once. Twice.

Then the mysterious person looked up at the one who disturbed his sleep then spoke.

“Select a mode, human: Helper Mode, Human Mode, Guard Mode, Lover Mode.” He said without blinking and in a monotone voice.

The last option made the male widen his eyebrows in confusion as silence reigns over both of you for a few moment as he took in his appearance; sharp jaw, plump and huge lips, cat eyes, big nose and clear skin. He’s too perfect, what the hell.

His eyes were glowing a blue hue which fascinated the male until he opened those lips of his again, “Again, human please select a mode: Helper Mode, Huma—”

“Helper Mode.... Wait, are you a robot?” Said the fascinated one, scratching his head at what exactly is happening.

“Very well then.” He accepts before his blue irises turned into green, emerald glowing ones.

“As I was assigned to helper mode, I will do my best to attend to your needs whether you have questions or just want me to do a certain action that will benefit you.” he explained briefly and looked at the human before him for any signs of questions to his statement.

“Forgive me, Y/N for I haven’t introduced myself properly yet.”

He knows my name..?

“I am an android, for typically I don’t have a name — but my creator always called me Hyunjin. I was created to serve the last humans. You and whoever is inside that.” he stated, pointing to the other container right next to you before giving a beautiful smile.

“L-Last humans? This isn’t some kind of prank is it? Is this some kind of test..?” Y/N asked with a trembling voice and shocked eyes as he gnaw on his bottom lip.

The android smile faded, “No. You are both the last of civilization. Planet Earth was destroyed 79 earth years ago.” he asked his voice still barely holding emotions but empty.

Y/N tried to calm your head down before asking more questions again, “Where are we then? If Earth got destroyed.” You breathed out trying to process information.

“We are currently in what the Creator called the ‘Mothership’” Hyunjin hummed before sighing and made a hand signal inching Y/N to move forward and you did.

He swiped his hand and a hologram appeared behind Y/N, he looked back and stared at the figure in awe. “Is this where we are?” He spoke reaching out to the it only for the tips of his fingers to pass through it.

Hyunjin nodded, “Yes.”

The ship looked a bit like a submarine of some sort. It looked cool but what was worrying about is how this ship works, like a car using fuel? Or just collecting the space dust - turning it into usable gas. he might have to ask Hyunjin later.

“Oh, you mentioned something about different modes you have - what exactly to they do?” Y/N spurred.

“Helper Mode is helping those in need either by medical or informational problems. Human Mode is where a personality to be built and be processed. Also to adapt. Guard mode is for fighting and protecting and lastly Lover mode is for me to give people’s physical needs by affection or to entertain sexual desires.” He explained once more thoroughly with a handsome smile on his face.

“Now, please take a rest. I am going to standby here to wait for the second human.” Hyunjin said but more in a concerning look.

“I have been asleep for seven decades and you still expect me to sleep?” Y/N pouted and looked at him with a glare. Hyunjin paid no mind and just nodded. Before standing still and looked at the other container.

Is it okay if—

“Hyunjin, switch to Human Mode if you may.” Y/N mumbled lowly but somehow Hyunjin’s advanced hearing caught on.

The android looked at Y/N before his emerald irises turned into brown orbs, looking more human so to speak. “As Human Mode was activated, I will do my best to communicate, learn and interact to add to my data and help build a complex human personality.” He said with a warm smile, taking a seat at the corner.

Wow, he seems more like a different person.

Y/N played with his fingers in absolute boredom as you waited for the container to open.

“Hey Hyunjin? How long till that open?” He said in a frustrated tone, sighing afterwards.

“Not much long..” Hyunjin sighs with bored look on his face as he turned to the male walking in circles, deep in thought.

“In the meantime, Hyunjin, may I— uh, explore the ship?” Y/N spoke in a thrilled tone as his orbs was filled with curiousity.

“I would recommend you to stay put but as long as you stay in vicinity of this room, it should be okay since it’s easy to get lost in the ship here. O- Oh.. take this if your going.” He smiled meekly, standing up but somehow the other man couldn’t take his eyes off on how the android moves his thick and plump lips while he’s chattering.

Y/N stared at him incredulously, silently judging his slighty robotic laugh. “Is that normal?”

“Uh....” he trailed before clearing his throat and laughing again this time more realistic.

The human smiled at it but forgot that Hyunjin was giving him omething, due to the absurd amount of time used to check the non-human.

“Take this if your going.” he said pulling something out of his pocket - a badge?

tell me about Defended By An Assassin im curious

Defended By An Assassin is a voltron canon-divergent-but-still-compliant-enough au i wrote in ye olden days. My hyperfixation has ended and am also out of motivation to finish it fully but a i still have a rough outline of the au notes. (I think it also helped me discover my gender so its kinda special to me despite it all)

The au mainly sees that an Altean ship w/ both a Galra and Altean inside it crash landed on earth in (an unspecified timeframe i never got around to calculating it) and the humans find their remains along w/ the cargo of raw Quintessence they were carrying w/ them. The ship lands on Russia and they hire a shady doctor i have titled as The Doctor to study the remains.

The Doctor then proceeds to (in predictably shady fashion) run human experimentation w/ his findings to form a being w/ both Nix (Galra) and Kaos (Altaean) genes inside a human combined w/ the Quintessence. Eventually the test subjects shift to children once it becomes apparent that they are the most receptive to it. Test subjects are kidnapped from all over the globe. Usually orphans that people won't miss. And young enough to still have all their baby teeth. Enter: Keith Kogane from texas yeehaw.

(In this au his dad died WAY earlier and he was plucked freshly from the chared remains of his house)

Keith has a fascinating dna which shows that it's half Nix dna. This is a new discovery and The Doctor really really wants to talk to the guy who banged the alien but hes fucking dead. But the results are already there w/ a human-Nix child, so why not add in the Kaos genes in there as well?

The vat of unidentified pure liquid energy they found in the crash (aptly named Ichor) proved to be very useful in this regard and The Doctor created more children with these human-Nix-Kaos cocktail and named them all Titans to aptly keep up w/ the theme.

These Titans then in ususal test subjects loosing their identity way were fashioned new names based on the theme. Also the whole shady experimentations were also very unethical (to say the fucking least) so a lot of people who funded the research but were kept unaware of the reselts are Very Not Happy abt the children thing. And oh! Would u look at that? The exposure to Ichor has led the Titans to develop strange abilities that can be harnessed in specific situations. Sure would be a shame if someone were to say, use this to silence the opposition.

So The Doctor basically made magic alien-energy-human 10 y/os who he manipulated into doing his dirty work and continuing his research on them.

The kids manage to get rescued and the facility destroyed cuz the fight involved Eris blowing up the afformentioned vat of ichor. Then the kids proceed to fuck off and disappear into various corners of the world to never talk to eachother again and bury all their problems and try to reintegrate themeselves into society.

Enter again: Keith Kogane, after having spent a brief stint as #02789nXs, before being Eris, spending half her time as Raven to assassinate people then back to being Keith again. He is Not adjusting well to society and then gets adopted by Shiro. He's now in the Garrison and James (Hermes. He was a fast little shit and it kept w/ the theme) is there and it was truly a devil's sacrament moment.

Then Shiro goes missing in a space mission and he gets himself kicked out if the Garrision. There is also a giant blue lion in the middle of the desert did they mention that? Wait what- SHIRO?!?!!! Who the fuck are you people. Dont come into my house and just- fine make yourself at home. Welcome to my cave w/ drawings and this big ass- how the fuck did you do that what the fuck. Are we in space. Is that earth. Is that a wormhole. What the fuck.

And now hes working as a fucking Defender of the Universe in a mecha lion w/ a 10000 y/o princess and Coran who call themselves Alteans but they are. Just. They're fucking Kaos people. And the main people are they're up against are called Galra, except she knows for a FACT that those bitches are Nix and there us also the uncomfortable fact of being half of the species (along w/ other things) that are taking over the unuverse. Shes not telling that to Allura.

And the whole thing about Ichor Quintessence comes up and hes just really trying to not deal w/ the mortifying ideal if being known and neither half Altean-half Galra prince Lotor or the Blade of Marmora are helping with it.

Some other notes is have written down abt this au:

Keith is 100% trans but no one knows in which direction. The Kaos shapeshifting powers are not helping w/ the problem even in the slightest.

During the Titan days there was some kind of love triangle thing going in w/ Eris, Hermes and Apollo and no one could tell who was into who either so it was just a source of angst and pining for the three of them and embarrassment for everyone involved.

On the plus side, Apollo and Hermes made Keith realize he has a thing for boys w/ blue eyes but on the downside: Lance fucking Mcclain

Lotor and Keith have a very complicated relationship cuz they are just dealing w/ similar things and Keith wants to help him w/ his place as a Galra/Altean but at the same time hes not ready to deal w/ his own issues either.

The whole returning to earth to find it under invasion moment has most of the Titans out of hiding and helping w/ their powers to beat the galra. Apollo is there but his name is Solace and the James-Keith-Solace pining trainwreck is back baby.

Keith also has very complicated feelings abt his mom.

The fallout of when Keith explains his human-galra-altean heritage to everyone involved one broken nose, several instances of the phrase "What the quiznak", 3 broken tables, 5 messed up lab equipment and many moments of awkward standing around by team voltron + Kolivan as Allura screams at Keith.

At one point Acxa just gets adopted into the Titans group. She's not even an honorary member they've 100 percent accepted her as one of them. Yes there was an initiation ceremony that involved a lot of stomping and chanting that called a lot of noise complaints. Yes Lotor was also in the corner as the actual honorary member wearing a hat that said "INTERN".

Thomas (Zeus) was literally the only one with the braincell in the Titan days and did not get paid enough to deal w/ all the bullshit. He has also been called many variations of mom/dad several times and has mainly accepted his fate.

The Titans also have these cool tattoo like patterns on their bodies that glow whenever they're using their powers.

Also Kosmo is the Titan's mascot and everyone (Keith) is willing to kill/die for it.

i had this in my drafts for months im so sorry for the late reply!!!

i already talked a lil about stars in a previous ask, but i'll try to go a bit more in depth

stars make up the main population the universe. there's a ton of them. i like to think of planets being the most "human" of these personifications, so stars can be a lil weird sometimes.

stars, in contrast to planets, follow very strict lifecycles that dictate their path through life. most, if not all, stars start out in the main sequence, and then turn into a giant star, before dying and turning into one of 3 types of "undead" stars.

stars are then further divide by their brightness/color into different classes. the lower classes (M, K, etc) live longer but are dimmer and smaller, while the higher classes (O, B, etc) live shorter lives but are much brighter and bigger.

class M stars are the most common and make up most of the stellar population. you can think of them like common people, just normal stars living their lives. the higher classes are more rare and tend to be more famous. despite often being more younger and less long lived than lower classes, higher class stars often have more say in stellar politics or whatever due to being brighter and louder.

but yeah, stars dont live forever, and will eventually run out of their hydrogen fuel. this will send them into a hunger-fueled craze, where they grow in size and lose themselves a little. some of them are better than dealing with this than others (arcturus grills a lot to keep his hunger and rage at bay lol). however, most, if not all, will end up killing and devouring their closest planets.

and at some point, every star will die (peacefully or in an explosion) and be reborn as some sort of undead star. they'll live forever, bound to see the end of the universe unless they collide with another object or get eaten by a black hole.

white dwarfs are like skeletons, husks of their former selves and missing most of their memories. however, with the support of other stars (and any remaining planets they have) they can often get back to the life they once had.

neutron stars are like vampires, hyperactive and speedy. they're essentially weaker black holes, but still very strange in their own right. most transportation systems across the universe are manned by neutron stars due to their ability to zip across space.

and finally, black holes are like zombies, eating anything that gets too close to them. this doesn't mean that theyre mindless however! supermassive black holes are very important figures, with most galaxies having a black hole partner who's always seen with them. sagittarius a* is no exception, being married to the milky way. black holes have a close relationship with the Void that gives them special powers, like teleportation, matter manipulation, and more.

What is shifting?

Shifting is the act of becoming aware of another reality or moving your consciousness into another reality. It could be ANYWHERE like an anime or Harry Potter, your favourite show, or even the past.

It has become popular on Tiktok in the last couple of years, but really, shifting has been around for most likely centuries!

Shifting abbreviations and other tenses

Online, there are many shortened terms that are just useful to know.

Dr: Desired reality!

This is the reality you desire to go to.

Cr: Current reality!

This is the reality you're in right now.

Wr: Waiting room!

Some shifters like to go to their waiting room before they go to their actual desired reality [dr] it's mostly just a place to relax and chill out after you shift.

Safe word: This is a word that you say to go back to your current reality when you're in your DR.

Symptoms: This is where your body starts to fall asleep, and you could tingle and feel like you're floating.

Scripting: Writing down how you want everything to go, basically. Like this:

I have blue hair, and everyone thinks I'm pretty.

Affirmations: Words like "I can shift" and more!

Don't overwhelm yourself with information. Believing in you can shift is really all you need. You are the key.

Dont just listen to online information. Some of it can be misinformation, so just find out what works for you.

Subliminals are helpful.

You can not get stuck in your DR.

Everything in your Dr's is real. Do not destroy it for your own entertainment.

Your "clone" in this reality won't be completely different from your usual self. (I believe you can use manifesting to make them different bc like... why wouldn't that work?)

Ratios: Ratios is the time in your DR and your CR. For example, in here 1 hour would go by but in my DR a week could have already gone by.

Don't let anti-shifters bring you down. They have completely different beliefs and shove that into people's faces.

No, there isn't a shifting police and no, you don't need to lay down in starfish position, drink water, clean rooms, that was all misinformation in like 2020 but doing things that clear your mind is helpful for shifting.

IT'S NOT LUCID DREAMING. Lucid dreaming is when you take control of your dream, and shifting is going to another reality.

Doubts don't stop you from shifting completely.

normally are “born” when the higher ups notice them and their existence while they were alive. when those noticed have died, they are Chosen and Ascend.

5 head gods. 1 admin god, 4 mods if that makes sense. the head god is titled Apogee, nickname of aji (ahgee or ă-jē). altogether called The Syzygy.

They normally Choose people who have been through A LOT of struggles but have stayed,,, relatively good people. like even if —— neutral on moral alignment, its fine.

as immortal and omnipresent/omniscient beings, they can basically do anything. (you have to learn these once you Ascend though. its not just *snap* and you know everything immediately. its a practice thing. also like how humans work and absorb info as we grow. it may take years— maybe even decades to master it.)

- (genshin ‘we will be reunited’ cutscene) dainsleif cutscene w him choking out the abyss lector? yeah. to set the spell up, you extend your arm like that and the magic aUrA or dUsT has to envelop them (specifically their arms to immobilize them. perhaps neck if need be.) and THEN the saying

- ONLY HIGH POSITIONS CAN DO THIS (The Syzygy and then those trusted by them to clean the trash of the multiverse)

- when the body dies, it fades like in genshin (without the weird falling thing) but theyre still there. it can materialize again if they want or not. if they exhausted themself too much , itll take a bit longer. most of the time, it takes maybe a min (because many normally die during fights so they have to get back to help faster)

- after one’s respawn, people will notice something… off about the body though. did they always have that scar? why are their eyes so bright?? why is their skin slightly glowing? the light around their head oddly looks like a halo if you focus.. huh. (other times, one might come back in full ascended form, all wings and covered in Eyes, fuckin cryptid bitch. scares the crap outta people who don’t expect the unexpected.)
