In terms of my work in 2025, I'll still be here, adoring (/obsessing about) Gale, reblogging and supporting other creators, and pouring out my unhinged and hyperfixated thoughts. I am, however, trying to work on a new novel so that's where I'll be putting most of my time and energy when it comes to writing. I just wanted to be honest, so you are aware if there is a drop in the frequency of fics. (But then again, I have tried to move away from Gale fics many times to work on original fiction, and here I am, a year later, with a considerable portfolio of Gale angst, romance and smut 😅🤣 just giving you full disclosure anyway).

On a more personal note, 2024 was an absolute shit show of a year for me, and it's only in the last couple of weeks that I've felt the skies have cleared a bit, and I've felt "more myself", and a bit of hope about the future. Obviously, this is a Gale blog, and though I sometimes share bits and pieces of my life, I don't know if anyone would be interested in more personal updates / essays. I don't struggle being vulnerable and open, and if this would be something that would be of interest or potentially give healing/hope/comfort to anyone out there, please let me know.

Hi guys! For the ones who read the last fanfic, hi again! For the ones who didn't, welcome. Let me explain everything you need to know!

Basically, I am currently planning my first multiple chapters long AU! It is gonna be a non-band AU, and is gonna take place on Ace's birth planet and on earth! And I was thinking of giving you guys an opportunity to be a part of it.

So, I decided to make a little competition!

But what is the price?

Well, my dear friends, the winner will see their OC become the AU's main character!

Cool! But how to participate?

Well, my KISSers, it's really simple! You will have to:

★ reblog THAT post

★ in your reblog, talk about your OC, their pronouns, explain their personnality, their role, their love interest, etc...

★ in that same reblog, post an image of your OC. You can draw them yourself or make them with an avatar maker or Picrew, as long as you tag the Picrew artist or avatar maker's creator

● but your character can't be racist, inscestous (if that's even a word), homophobic, transphobic, and any other problematic behavior with your OC will not be tolerated. If any of these characteristics are found withing your OC, you will immidiatly be disqualified.

And the reblog with the most likes is gonna see their OC become my AU's main character!

You have until MARCH 31st to submit your OC! And then, I'll announce the winner in the AU's first chapter!

This is a week-long celebration of Steve's birthday and will run from Monday, July 1, 2024 to Sunday, July 7, 2024.

There will be a new theme and four on-theme prompts every day to jumpstart your ideas, as well as extra challenges on the day of Steve's birthday to inspire you to try something new, but you don't need to use them. As long as you create a work that fits the rules & guidelines and post it during the event, it counts and will be included in the event.

ACESPEC ORIGINAL CHARACTERS EVENT FOR ACE WEEK 2023!

ACE WEEK is from 22nd to 28th October this year!! That's around the corner btw.

Back in the old Twitter days, I used to summon acespec creators to join me in a thread of their own acespec OCs with the goal of meeting more ace creators, their OCs, their projects and making friends! I thought it would be a great idea to bring the event to Tumblr this time... WITH NEW RULES!

So, during the ACE WEEK 2023, I want you to show the world your ACESPEC ORIGINAL CHARACTERS!

I want to see artwork of them, especially if it's made by you, and please add some cool info about them, it can be any silly detail, but I encourage you to talk about their asexuality and experiences, and it would be super interesting to know if your own asexuality affected the creation of the character. Tell us about their story, if they have any, and if they belong to a project you are working on. This will take place during the whole week, so no rush. I'll be reblogging pretty much everything with my side martaslavendergarden
