-Paul is 19/20 and graduated in Darry's class.

-Bob, Bev, Brill and Trip are all seniors(they're 17/18 during the musical).

-Marcia, Cherry and Chet are juniors(so they're 16/17 during the musical, would’ve been in Soda’s grade had he not dropped out).

yes of course I think about them so muchhhh! We don’t really know any of their canon ages so I’m gonna say they’re all around 17 unless I specify otherwise. Some of this info is from tho show, but a lot of it is from the actors!!

Marcia: anxious, sassy, cherrys best friend, dating trip but commonly shipped with two-bit because of their romance in the book, though they don’t interact in the musical. Torn between her soc friends and doing the right thing.

Beverly (Bev) Jitney-Bush: the richest soc, her dad owns a jumbo jet plane, dating brill and they are literally perfect for each other. She is very much a supporter of the class divide and looks down on the greasers, and will even join the boys in their violence against them.

Terrence (Trip) Dipp: not much is known about trip. He is dating Marcia and their relationship is very hot or cold, and they get into fights a lot.

Clark (Brill) Brillstine: dating Bev, is also a big fan of the class divide, not much else is known about him.

Chet Baker: has a crush on Cherry (and Bev but no one in the fandom talks about that) and is dating Cherry at the end of the musical. Dances with cherry at the drive in while she’s still dating bob, causing bob to get really jealous. Not much else is known about him.

Melvin Dipp: younger than the rest of the socs, trips little brother, (step brother, but they don’t like to talk about that.) he’s a player, but he has a crush on Ace and they fight in the rumble.

Sergei: same age as Melvin and Melvins best friend. He’s an exchange student from Ukraine

Let me know if you have any other questions! My mind is like a vault of things the actors have said about their characters, and I also have some headcanons on them!!

Marcia runs really cold and two bit runs really hot, I will not be taking criticism on this

just imagine Marcia with constantly freezing hands sticking them on the back of two bits neck without warning and him yelping and practically jumping 5 feet in the air- or her coooonstantly holding his hands and he always teases her that the only reason she ever holds his hands is because he warms up her fingers and she never argues with him on that-

or in the summer two bit overheating so much and taking Marcia’s hands and sticking them on his forehead and she’s just giggling and UGH THEY ARE SO GODDAMN CUTE

Also Trip had cold hands, yet another piece of evidence that their relationship was never gonna work out.

Marcia was sick of flowers. Trip thought she loved them because she was a girl, so of course she must! But by the end of Sophomore year she simply hated them, another thing Trip never learned about her. She never brought it up to him because she knew it would cause some sort of argument. When they were good she preferred to see how long they could stay good. That’s what Marcia believed love was, hot or cold. She was either being burned or frozen, and while both could hurt, it was an addicting cycle to fall into. When she was burning she longed for the cold, and when she was freezing she longed for the heat. She didn’t know a way to feel better without either of those options, so she kept herself in this eternal loop, until the day she finally managed to escape. When she fell in love again, she waited in fearful anticipation for the cold to come. When it came for the first time she got so scared, because she realized she couldn’t do that cycle again. It drained everything out of her, and she wanted something different. So she gave two bit an ultimatum. Stop drinking, or she’d break up with him. She said she didn’t want him showing up on her doorstep every other morning with a bouquet of flowers, and he listened. They found something new to Marcia. Instead of a wildfire threatening to burn down the forest, or a relentless icy storm, they found a steady love. It was like a campfire. It kept them warm at night, and it never hurt. With work from both of them, it could be sustained. It felt so nice to be taken care of by two bit, and she took care of him. They had their arguments, of course they did. But instead of a flowery bandaid covering up the wounds, they would talk it out. Two Bit never brought Marcia flowers, and that is exactly why she loved him.
