Teen twins

In this fic, Lloyd has a twin brother and he fights with him. Misako and Sensei Garmadon are irritated because of that.

"Grrr." Lloyd clenched his fist in frustration as he walked through the monastery, surveying the mess that needed to be cleaned up.

When he entered the room, he saw his twin brother lying on the bed, playing games on his phone.

"Luce!" Lloyd glared at him angrily. "Mom and Dad asked us to tidy up this mess while they sort something out in town. I’ve done my chores, and you haven’t!"

"Well, Mom and Dad are already here," Luce shrugged. "I guess it’s too late."

"They're NOT here!" Lloyd snapped. "I was in a living room just a little while ago."

"You didn’t look closely enough." Luce stood up and headed toward the living room. "Mom, Dad!"

"What’s going on?" Sensei Garmadon stepped out of the kitchen, followed by Misako.

"Luce didn’t finish his chores," Lloyd tattled. "Again."

"We know, Lloyd," Misako sighed. "We were just talking about that."

"You're such a whiner." Luce turned and shot Lloyd a look.

"It's not my fault I don’t have the energy to cover for you when you never finish your own chores!" Lloyd defended himself.

"Enough, boys!" Sensei Garmadon interrupted the squabble. "Lloyd is right. And you, Luce, will finish your chores now."

"But Dad..." Luce rolled his eyes.

"No 'buts'." Misako said firmly. "It’s not fair for Lloyd to do more than you."

"Hey!" Luce shouted, glaring at Lloyd.

"Don’t you start..." Misako began, but Luce cut her off.

"He stole my jacket, Mom!"

"I did not," Lloyd protested.

"Then why are you holding it?" Luce angrily snatched the jacket from Lloyd’s hands.

"It’s mine!" Lloyd complained. "I’ve been wearing it for weeks."

"I’ve been looking for it for weeks!" Luce yelled at Lloyd. "It’s mine."

"Not mine!" Lloyd insisted. "You’re not taking my jacket!"

"Boys, enough!" Sensei Garmadon intervened.

"If you kept your room tidier, you would have found your own." Lloyd argued back.

"You stole it!" Luce was raising his voice, "You stole it from me!"

"Boys, calm down," Misako said in a calm tone. "You can sort this out."

"How can we when he’s stolen my jacket?" Luce replied irritably.

"Mom, you know I wouldn’t steal; it’s mine," Lloyd turned to Misako and Sensei Garmadon.

"And where did you find it then?" Luce asked skeptically.

"In my closet," Lloyd said exasperatedly. "I’m not responsible if you lost one of yours."

"I didn’t; you just started wearing this one a few weeks ago!" Luce refused to back down.

"Because that’s when it finally became cool enough for that jacket!" Lloyd said as he snatched it back from Luce.

"Give that back!" Luce was pulling on the jacket from Lloyd’s grip, and they began tugging at it.

"Enough!" Sensei Garmadon shouted and grabbed the jacket with his staff, interrupting their struggle.

Lloyd and Luce stopped arguing and stepped back.

"We will keep the jacket until you can reach an agreement!" Misako said, taking the jacket from Sensei Garmadon.

"Now, both of you go to your rooms."

"Fine," Lloyd said sadly as he headed to his room. "I’m sorry."

"Me too," Luce said, though he didn’t sound very sincere.

"Luce!" Misako called after him.

"What?" Luce turned around.

"Your phone," Sensei Garmadon said, extending his hand.

"You didn't take Lloyd's phone !"Luce complained.

"We didn't, and we won't," Misako emphasized.

"Beacouse he's your golden child he doesn't get the same punishment as I do!" Luce was furious.

"It's your punishment for not finishing your chores; Lloyd did his," Misako replied sharply. "No, it's because you love one of you more than the other!"

"Give me your phone now, and you'll get it back when you finish your chores," Sensei Garmadon said, and Luce handed over his phone.

"But..."

"Yes, you will stay in your room until we let you out," Sensei Garmadon added, scowling. "And I don't know when that will be because you two are exhausting me today."

"Fine," Luce said and sadly retreated to his room.

"What do you think about whose jacket it is?" Misako asked Sensei Garmadon. "It's quite possible that Lloyd mistakenly found it in his closet."

"I don't know whose it is, and I don't care," Sensei Garmadon sighed, sitting on the couch. "If I'd known it would be so hard to have teenage twins, I'd have stayed in the underworld."

Misako tossed a jacket at him in response to his words.

"Ouch!" Sensei Garmadon exclaimed. "I was just..."

"Don't joke like that," Misako replied, sitting next to him.

"I won't, I promise." Sensei Garmadon sighed and placed his arm around her shoulders.

"I don't know what we'll do with them," he said after a long pause.

"Hopefully, they will outgrow this phase." Misako sighed, leaning her head on his shoulder. "It happens with everyone."

"I'm trying not to be too hard on them," Sensei Garmadon said sadly. "Especially with Luce, because I see myself in him. Even though he often drives me to the edge of patience."

"I know," Misako said, kissing him on the temple. "But I think we're fair to them, and we don't show favorites. When Lloyd does something stupid, he gets the same punishment as Luce."

"Only he does less stupid stuff," Sensei Garmadon pointed out.

"Yes," Misako nodded. "But we need to tighten the reins a bit. I won't let Luce grow up and stay so wild and spoiled."

"And lazy," Sensei Garmadon emphasized. "And Lloyd needs to learn that he will encounter injustices in life and that everything can't always be perfect."

"That's right," Misako confirmed.

"Mom, Dad, can I finish my chores now?" Luce shouted from his room.

"I'm going to lose it with them," Sensei Garmadon groaned.

"I feel sorry for him," Misako said tenderly . "Sounds like he's been crying."

"Because he's been five minutes without his phone," Sensei Garmadon remarked, then shouted, "Five more minutes!"

"We have five more minutes to enjoy the silence," Misako smiled.

"Yes, because when we let him out, we have to let Lloyd out too, and then the arguing and bickering will start," Sensei Garmadon said wearily.

"Mom, Dad!" Then both twins could be heard shouting from their rooms.
