sometimes i read posts on here about fictional characters that i feel are objectively untrue and would only happen in some kind of bizarro alternate universe situation, and then i think to myself, maybe it's a joke, it's probably a joke. but then i also think, well it's not funny. not to me

in my head john grayson is from cádiz and is the son of a mother with a million and seven home remedies and has perfect compás and fell in love with mary grayson when he first saw her and then again the first time he watched her dance. and mary grayson grew up south of provence and sews bags of dried lavender sprigs into pillows and around their trailer and fell very slowly in love with john’s laugh and humor and goodness
