It’s time for Tokoyami’s nightly panic attack over dark shadow almost getting stolen by AFO~~~ Dark Shadow is an angel and will always reassure him. Fumi has been trying so hard to help his classmates with their struggles but he doesn’t feel like he can go to any of them with his own problems. There is a constant feeling of not being “safe” that not even shadow can solve. Shadow will preen his feathers and hold him tightly to calm him down.

Tokoyami doesn’t have the mental energy to keep up appearances right now so dark shadow is out a lot more often trying to help with whatever they can. It’s normally toko trying to take care of shadow but rn it’s like they’re reversed and dark shadow has to take charge. In a world filled with darkness dark shadow is his guide.

Sort of different from my usual content, but I need some advice on something non-therian related

Does anyone know how to teach a kid reading, spelling, etc? I don't wanna go too deep into it, but my little cousin is in 1st grade and still doesn't know what the alphabet is. Her parents refuse to teach her so I wanna help but have no clue where to start

When I was a kid, I just sort of assumed all teachers had some kind of teacher magic that let them remember a mind boggling amount of people. They always seemed to know every student on sight.

Now as an adult, watching my coworkers consistently recognize 50-80% of repeat customers vs my dozen or so, if you count the ones I recognize but consistently conflate with another customer, I think maybe my face blindness should have been more apparent to me sooner

shoutout to my history teacher who not only took over my history class when my original teacher bailed at the most inconvenient time for them, caught up the class when we were behind multiple units in one week and also got my class ahead of the other history classes, is very knowledgeable and non biased on actual history of both majority and minority groups and events, is very supportive to everyone, runs the health and well-being club for a different school, is the first nonbinary teacher I’ve had, but also complied a whole booklet of resources and information on Canadian queer/genderqueer history just because I asked if they knew anything about the history of trans rights advocacy in Canada
