Buffalo fried chicken sandwiches that are spicy, crunchy, and tasty, with a kick of hot sauce and creamy blue cheese dressing.

Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/2 cup buttermilk. 1/4 cup hot sauce. 1/4 cup unsalted butter. 4 hamburger buns. Lettuce, tomato, and blue cheese dressing for serving.

Instructions: In a shallow dish, mix together flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. In another dish, mix buttermilk and hot sauce. Dip chicken breasts into the flour mixture, then into the buttermilk mixture, and again into the flour mixture to coat well. Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken breasts for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and drain on paper towels. Toast hamburger buns. Assemble sandwiches by placing fried chicken breasts on the buns, topping with lettuce, tomato, and blue cheese dressing. Serve immediately and enjoy!

tastysandwich 11 days ago | next [–] When researching family cars recently, I literally avoided the Honda CR-V just because the AC was controlled via the touch screen.There's a "Climate" button, which brings up a screen on the display where you can turn the aircon on/off, up/down, etc. It's just horrendous. Give me my dials.My worst gripe - which all modern cars have - is the aggressive bluetooth auto-connect. If my wife takes the car, it will automatically connect to my phone in the house and start playing whatever was last playing. If I'm using headphones, it will just pinch the audio from them. I cannot disable this. A few seconds later it returned. The person on the other end said they heard what sounded like a child for a second. I was perplexed.Fast forward a week, and this happens again. I look at the call screen, and notice that the audio is being routed to Bluetooth? Opening it, it says I'm connected to my car. Not possible: I'm here, in my office, took a bus in.I look up, baffled, and happen to see my wife drive by, 40 feet away, through a concrete wall and some glass.Damn you, auto-connect. DAMN YOU.

As it's lockdown, I thought I'd share one of my sandwich recipes. This is a grilled pizza sandwich. It's really easy but really yummy. Sooo 1. 2 slices bread buttered/marged on one side of both. 2. Put one slice bread butter side down in fry pan on low heat. 3. On top of bread in the pan, arrange slices of your fave cheese (I use mature cheddar); add tomato puree (you could use pesto); a layer of pepperoni (salami or ham, or no meat also works); add sliced marinated artichoke hearts (here you can get really creative and add sliced olives, capers, jalapeños, etc); some chopped fresh basil or dried herbs. 3. Place other slice of bread on top, butter side out. Cook one side till brown, turn and then put a lid on to make sure cheese melt. Cook till brown, remove, slice and eat!
