thinking about the domestic life with lottie. sfw.
· · 𐂂 · ·
that one scene with her in the kitchen with callie makes me tear up. i need to cook with this woman. she's so the type to slap your ass as she walks past, either with her hand or a towel. i think she'd love to grab a bag of cup(cake) mix every time you guys go to the store. and, she has to spend 10 minutes deciding what frosting and if she wants sprinkles or those little dots for the topping. she loves that aisle, man. every time she smells that bakery smell she's reminded of how fun it is to cook/bake with you in the kitchen and has to grab something.
you're her little taste tester too. sitting on the counter while she stirs some mixture, lottie dipping her finger in it and she opens her mouth to signal for you to open your lips before putting her finger inside. you love her fingers and you love cooking with her so it's like the best moment ever. you two always end up a little sidetracked during these taste tests heh....
probably wears an apron with "mama chef" written on it and most definitely has matching ones with you
you can hear the sound of music playing softly in the kitchen when you get home, lottie's loud humming making you smile after a rough day. tiredly kicking your shoes off and tossing your jacket on the floor, you shuffle into the kitchen and are greeted with the sight of lottie's back muscles as she dances and stirs something in a bowl. she's too into the music and dancing to hear you walk in, and you use the opportunity to lean against one of the counters to admire her. you watch her hips sway from side to side to the beat with the biggest grin on your lips, and you think you just have to take out your phone to record this. your heart bursts about a million times watching her nod along to the song, and you almost blow your cover when she tastes the batter and starts talking to herself about how good it is. after shoving your phone in your pocket, you walk up behind her and grasp her hips, moving along with her. "what're you making?" you mumble, laughing at her slight sound of surprise. she sets the spoon down and turns in your arms to give you a welcome home kiss that makes you breathless when she pulls away. "i went to the store while you were at work and got some cupcake mix." she responds. she trails her nails up and down your arms while you mess with her apron, still humming along to the song.
she teaches you how to steal for sure. encourages it even. she's aghast when you tell her that you didn't know most items wouldn't even beep if you stole it (....me) and takes you to a mall to test your skills. maybe it's the same mall she used to steal from at tj maxx and she still knows her way around and it's kind of hot that she knows where all the security cameras are. rewards you with a kiss when you succesfully steal something and uses her charisma (and money) to get you out of trouble if you get caught
lottie x gamer!reader. you get special privileges at the compound and are the only person allowed technology. she'll order you that 2k pc that you need to play minecraft on, trust. you get your own gaming room in the space she stays at and she helps you buy decorations for it, especially if you stream. she gets you this light for your door to let her know if you're streaming or not because she loves barging in unannounced. doing those couple youtube video where you ask each other questions or do the girlfriend tag lmfao. having her read out comments about her like thirst tweets,, she makes sure to let them know she's spoken for. if you're a big enough streamer, you definitely take her to twitchcon or whatever big con you're invited to! she gets to meet all your streaming buddies, loves watching you interact with your fans, loves when ppl recognize her and ask for pictures with her, and i think she'd be the one recording the trip for your youtube vlog/stream. also ur number 1 supporter,, she comments on everything including your tweets and insta posts.
im forever spreading the transfem lottie agenda, so i have to add doing her estrogen shot for her. sometimes she's so busy with the compound and forgets to do it that week, so while she's reading out people's gratitude cards to you, you prep her thigh and do her shot.
working at the compound with her, not seeing her for hours because you're both busy attending to people, and when you finally meet up you two just kiss and hug until you have to go back. bringing her some of the food from the cafeteria because you know she probably hasn't eaten today. she's very clingy some days and asks you to just stick with her all day. just got a vision of her holding your hand while talking w someone and jerking it everywhere because she speaks with her hands. lottie using you for demonstration purposes for her theraputic rituals because you're perfect.
also ^ surprising her with a cat you found on the side of the road when driving back to the compound. letting it roam around because the compound is so big but it gets lost one day and you're devastated. she goes out at night to look for it while you're in bed and is so upset when she has to tell you that she found nothing. eventually, it comes back though, and she pampers the shit out of it. and you tbh. she's just happy that you're happy again.
getting a nice cozy apartment together after they seize her compound. you probably were the one to tell her they took her community because she was in a mental facility at the time. going with her to pack things up and giving her time to say goodbye to everything. moving in with her and lazing around for like a day or two on some blowup beds before putting your asses to work.
lottie little spoon!!! she needs to feel your arms wrapped around her to sleep comfortably at night
lottie meeting your parents. kinda nervous but kinda cocky at how shocked they are at her age. prolly brings the best and most expensive wine to get herself on their good side. she stays the night and she makes fun of your childhood bedroom smh.
i know she'd be the best gf ever i wanna take care of her and be her controversially younger butch.

20 Questions for Fic Writers
Thanks for the tag @patheticfangirl! Procrastination on a Monday? Don't mind if I do. 1. How many works do you have on AO3? 18 — 16 for BG3 and 2 for Arcane (sorry Jayvik one day I'll come back to you 😭) 2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
433,097 (never finished writing a thing in my life before I discovered Astarion, thanks darling).
3. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Hustle - What I want to write: angsty romantasy. What I actually write: Bloodweave YouTubers. I love these boys. WeaveStitch 4eva <3
Hiraeth - My First Fanfiction, an isekai about a BG3 gamer who finds herself dragged into Faerun. I didn't know how to use AO3 then, I tagged my OC, Astarion, and Gale in a threesome by accident, and Gale and Astarion are super horny for each other throughout because I didn't yet know it was my life's calling to write Bloodweave. But I'm proud of the ending and people still seem to like it.
What Friends Are For - Also known as, Nivasi discovers Bloodweave. This fic has my favorite chapters of anything I've written ever (chapters 11-13).
Driven - Meepbois 😭 I miss them so they're getting a one-year anniversary epilogue this year.
Snakes & Ladders - A silly one-shot enabled by the Bloodweave Brainrot Discord. No tadpole AU in which Astarion is sent by Cazador to steal from Gale.
4. What fandoms do you write for?
BG3 and Arcane. On a knife's edge about Invisible Boys and IWTV.
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Always. I'd like to pretend that I 'write for myself' but you know it's true, everything I do, I do it for you(r comments).
6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Familiar is probably the angstiest thing I've written ('What if Gale's dad was one of Astarion's victims?'). Otherwise, Hiraeth has a very bittersweet ending.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Literally everything else.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Someone once compared Hiraeth to Twilight, which I consider to be hateful.
9. Do you write smut?
I mean... I try 😅 Not well?
10. Do you write crossovers?
I haven't, but I'm open to it.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I don't think so?
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
No, but I think it'd be fun. HMU.
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
Bloodweave. I can't believe I'm still here over a year later. Just love 'em.
15. What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
*cries in Eurovision fic shame* I do actually really want to finish After the End, my Jayvik longfic too, since it's all plotted out. But I realised I can't work on more than one thing at once and Hellfire Club Bloodweave AU is dragging me into the hells at the moment.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I genuinely don't know how to answer this. Uhh, the ability to make absolutely everything a romcom?
Actually, I just came back to this one because I remembered that I can write the shit out of a first chapter. Give me any prompt and that first chapter will be with you in under an hour.
It's just finishing them that's the problem.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Making everything a romcom, if you hate romcoms, I guess. Other than that, oh, so many things: procrastination, repetition, cliches, getting distracted by shiny new ideas, autistic Gale + bbgirl Astarion
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic?
I did it in Driven, because Astarion speaks French, and it taught me how not good Google Translate is. I ended up getting help from the lovely French Quarter of BWBR in the end, and would always go straight to this option in the future.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
BG3! This has been my first experience of fandom and my first time writing fics. I like it. You're all onto something here.
20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?
I think it's got to be Driven. It's not as popular as Hustle, but I received the most surprising amount of love for this story. To the extent that it was actually emotional when it came to an end? Which I really wasn't expecting when I plonked a wizard and a vampire into F1 cars. Thanks meeple <3

JEFF THE KILLER HEADCANONS BECAUSE FUCK YOU! (Jk I love you and hope your life is great)
1. Him and BeN are besties for life, ride or die, would suck the poison out of each others dicks (not gay though)
2. Jeff has eye drops on him 24/7 so he doesn’t go fucking blind
3. Jeff has anger issues, one moment he’s chill as fuck and then EJ told him something that pisses him off- and now there’s a stab wound in Toby, a hole in the wall, and an angry Slenderman.
4. Jeff is totally straight. He totally thinks boobs are awesome. And totally only boobs. (He’s bisexual and swears on god he’s straight.)
5. He wakes up at 2 pm because he hates being awake in the mornings
6. He’s a metal head. He blasts music from his room so loud you can hear it across the mansion (slender mansion AU)
7. His deep gravely ass voice is perfect for metal songs
8. He likes to paint his nails black, and black only any other color is fucking gay
9. His vocabulary is 90% cuss words
10. He rarely showers. Ironically the gamer showers more often than him. Jeff prefers to be a stinky son of a bitch (take that fangirls)
11. He makes up for it with his dental hygiene (kinda) he brushes them twice a day and they look perfect (mostly)
12. He has extra sharp canines
13. He named his knife “Knifu” aka his knife waifu
14. The knife has been used so much that it constantly reeks of bleach and blood; it has permanent blood stains on it
15. Jeff bites his nails pretty often
16. Jeff isn’t good with throwing knives- he also isn’t that good at stabbing…
17. Jeff literally just stabs and stabs until he thinks his victim is dead, he doesn’t know any major artery’s (did I spell that right?)
18. Jeff is dyslexic
19. Jeff is horrible at math but refuses to admit it
20. Jeff wears eyeliner but refuses to admit it
21. He secretly loves the color pink but refuses to admit it (see a pattern here yet?)
22. Jeff is super sensitive to light due to the fact he doesn’t have any eyelids
23. He wears black gloves because he has burn marks on his hands and hates it when people look at them (fingerless gloves as his fingers aren’t burnt)
24. Jeff really wants tattoos and piercings but can’t get any due to his skin being extremely sensitive and fragile
25. Jeff hates the sun, it hurts his eyes and skin
26. Jeff likes going to playgrounds at night because 1. Fucking swings are awesome and 2. Creepy
27. Fucker is 5’11 and constantly calls BeN a midget
28. Jeff had a small crush on Toby for a while and lowkey has a small crush on BeN but…
29. Jeff is highkey downbad for EJ (it’s one-sided)
30. If Jeff ever tried to cook, he would burn everything
31. Jeff is fucking terrified of fire
32. Sometimes Ben likes to scare Jeff shitless by lighting a small fire inside Bens hands infront of Jeff
33. Sometimes Jeff throws Ben inside a kiddy pool and watches him panic about drowning (he is fully above the water)
34. Despite the fact Jeff and Ben both fuck with each other and their fears, they do it in tame ways to ensure the other doesn’t actually have a panic attack of any kind
35. Jeff lives in sweatpants, jeans are for losers and shorts are gay
36. T-shirts and hoodies, Jeff literally does not own a single sweater, long sleeve, or tank top.
37. His favorite T-shirt says “Fuck me in my ass (but not in a gay way)”
38. His second favorite says “Emo metal loving slut”
39. Both and almost all of his t-shirts are black with either white or red/pink writing
40. It is Jeff’s goal to have every photo taken of him (with permission) to have him flipping off the camera
41. Jeff watches South Park but thinks Family guy is stupid
42. He tries really hard to get on Liu/Sully’s good side but his anger issues usually get in the way
43. Jeff and Nina are actually really good friends that lowkey view each other as family
44. Jeff and Nina love to piss each other off constantly (Ben will prank whoever he is asked to)
45. Jeff has tried to kill Jane quite a few times, and Jane is constantly trying to kill him
46. Jeff personally isn’t into weed but he doesn’t judge BeN for being a stoner lowkey

48. Jeff is a kinky bastard
49. Jeff likes a good bowl of strawberry ice cream

I kinda just wanna write game reviews here sometimes. *Ahem*
It's pretty damn rare that you find a piece of media like this throughout the course of your life.
One that elegantly, carefully, and lovingly traverses infinite despair in an infinitely more hopeful way. One that shows you that no true problem can be solved in a single day. One that teaches of the compassion in our hearts, for those around us and the world we all live in.
And, for me, one that teaches that in the face of despair, fear, and sadness, beauty can also be found, and that no matter how pointless it can seem, fighting, trying, and persistence is how we can push through the end of the world. And now matter how all encompassing it may seem, the end is never truly the end. It's just a new beginning.
I am, of course, referring to...

Before I continue, I must clarify, as I did in my ACT review, this will feature spoilers, and moreso than almost any other game I've played, you simply must play this blind if you can.
Ok, a brief, completely spoiler free review. *Ahem again*
Outer Wilds is a beautiful, relaxing yet occasionally stressful first person space exploration game, in which the only currency you collect through the game is knowledge. The solar system is your own journey through the puzzle box the devs made. The music is beautiful and touching, the visuals are distinct yet simple, and the story is like nothing else. The only genuine 10/10 I can give. It's brilliant.
Ok, I will now put a funny picture, this is your opportunity to leave spoiler free.

Ok now time for the real gamers to chat.
This game. This fucking game. It reaches deep to the innermost part of my mind and soul and shows me a more accurate depiction of the human experience than any other game, and it don't even got humans.
It is the absolute definition of existential optimism, and I think it's refreshing, and borderline spiritual.
And this fact is helped because the way you get to the end is entirely up to you. Every single person who plays this game will play it differently. Everyone follows what they find amazing and interesting, and everyone finds what they think is, and they fly and crash and die and laugh and love every moment they spend in this dark, enrapturing galaxy.

The combination of nostalgic foresty landscapes, crumbling planets, shoddy craftsmanship, and banjo laden melancholy music make for a uniquely sentimental game, which allows you to connect with what theyve done.
I mean fuck some of the coolest ideas for planets and worlds I've ever seen.
Brittle Hollow and it's crumbling deadly surface, and infinitely heavy black hole at the center
Dark Bramble, always enshrouded in fog and mystery, endlessly repeating dangerous, vine coated voids filled with the most terrifying creatures in the known universe

The Hourglass Twins, the most clearly time based astral body of all, as two planets pirouette through the sky, trading impossible amounts of sand due to a shift in gravity
And of course, the Quantum Moon, a blend of all other planets with an ethereal, eternally shifting vibe layered thickly on top.

It's brilliant, and scary, and add layers and layers to your story.
And the characters and all so clearly defined, with interests and dreams and hopes. Reibeck hates space but is obsessed with the Nomai technology and history, so he can't help but explore. Feldspar and his sporadic attitude and wealth of courage allowing him to explore anywhere, as long as it's got beasties. And of course, the one, the only, the best o Outer Wilds character, Gabbro!

This chill as mother fucker got trapped in the same time loope as you, and is simply to chill and content to give a single fucking shit, while still helping where he can with advice and knowledge. It's awesome, and he also teaches you how to speed up your death with meditation, so that's... Cool.
And of fucking course I gotta talk about the music.
It's hypnotic. It permeates your body and makes you happy and sad and lonely and any other thing you can imagine, while still fitting the game, and any individual story moment. It's brilliant.
Like, listen to this shit.
And what about this???
And how about this, which is from the dlc, which i will write about in another review when I'm not exhausted!!
I gotta say, this isn't a review in the way I'd like it to be, cause I'm tired, but fuck me play this game it's amazing and the music and visuals and every piece is just... Oh my God.
I hope you enjoyed reading this delirious mish mash of words I wanted to say about a game I really love.
No joke, 10/10
Would crash into the sun again.
Thanks!!

Castletown Café Episode 27: Butterscotch-Cinnamon Pie
It's been 8 years.....doesn't seem like that long, does it? On September 15th, 2015, Undertale launched to the world and took the internet by storm, delighting gamers young and old and capturing their hearts and minds with the story, humor, memorable characters, and beautiful music. Without Undertale, there wouldn't be Deltarune.
It's safe to assume that the pie Kris stole between Chapters 1 and 2 as well as the pie Toriel later teaches Susie how to bake is the same pie from Undertale: butterscotch-cinnamon pie. It's the pie Toriel is known for in Undertale, where she asks you early on in the game which flavor you prefer. It doesn't matter if you choose cinnamon or butterscotch, because she later bakes you one delicious pie with both flavors included that compliment each other perfectly.
This pie is well known by fans to restore your health to full HP, regardless of the route you take (which effects how much max HP you have). It even has plot significance! If you know, you know.
Since Undertale's launch, I've made butterscotch-cinnamon pie every September to commemorate it's anniversary. In previous years, I followed pre-existing recipes, but this year, I have concocted my own! The results are a beautiful custard pie with a perfectly-set filling and it tastes as heavenly as the pies I'd made in the past!
While many butterscotch pie recipes out there include a meringue topping, I always opt for a cinnamon-vanilla whipped topping, inspired by @terribletriocreations butterscotch-cinnamon pie recipe. That said, I'd love to try out my butterscotch-cinnamon pie recipe with a meringue topping one of these days!
There are so many different ways to make butterscotch pie, from the simple to the advanced. You can make it with the browning butter method, or use butterscotch chips, or an easy brown sugar and butter custard filling. Mine is the latter category; great for any beginner and easy to make! Here we go!
BUTTERSCOTCH-CINNAMON PIE:
1 pie crust, pre-made or made from scratch
1 cup firmly-packed dark brown sugar
3 tablespoons flour
3 tablespoons cornstarch
Pinch of salt
2 cups milk
4 egg yolks, divided
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Cinnamon-Vanilla Whipped Topping:
1 cup heavy cream
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Roll out pie crust and line a pie dish with it. Make sure the crust fits the dish, trim off any excess dough, and dock the bottom with a fork.
Crimp the edges of the crust around the rim of the pie dish. I do it by pinching the dough with my fingers and thumb, but using a fork or another utensil works, too.
In a small bowl, scramble one egg yolk with a little bit of water and brush the rim to gloss the edges of the pie.
Grab a sheet of foil and place in the pie, then fill with dried beans or pie weights. Bake the crust for about 7-10 minutes. After that, remove it from the oven for a moment.
Remove the beans or pie weights and place a pie shield on the rim of the pie shell to prevent the crust rim from overcooking. If you don't have a pie shield, grab a sheet of foil and place it over the pie, cutting out the center where the filling should go. Instant pie shield! Now, bake your pie crust again for another 5-7 minutes, or until your crust is fully baked. Remove it from the oven yet again. If the crust puffs up at the bottom, squish it back down with a spoon.
In a small mixing bowl, beat 3 egg yolks and set aside.
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, flour, cornstarch, and salt. Whisk together for 30 seconds, then slowly add the milk while continuing to whisk in order to prevent any clumps or lumps from forming.
Cook the mixture, stirring constantly to prevent burning, until it's nice and thick and is bubbling a wee bit.
Stir in the butter and keep cooking as the butter melts. After that, keep stirring and cooking for a few more minutes, then remove from heat.
With a ladle, slowly incorporate (while whisking) 1 cup of the hot butterscotch mixture into the egg yolks to temper the eggs and prevent scrambling from occurring. Once you've added and mixed it together, feel free to add just a little more butterscotch, slowly, to ensure that the eggs gradually got hot enough. Then simply pour your egg mixture back into the saucepan with the remaining butterscotch.
Return your butterscotch to medium heat and cook again for another 3 minutes or so, then stir in the vanilla and cinnamon until fully incorporated.
Pour that butterscotch filling into your prepared pie shell and bake once again for another 7-10 minutes. Remove your pie from the oven and let it cool completely. Once cooled, your custard should be completely set and ready for the whipped topping!
In another mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, powdered sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon and beat on medium speed until stiff peaks form. Attach your decorating tip of choice to a piping bag and place it in a tall glass to fill it with the whipped cream. As you would with decorating a cake, pipe the whipped topping over your pie in any pattern or design you'd like. If you want, you can sprinkle the top with a little extra ground cinnamon for a finishing touch. Enjoy and stay determined! ❤

What in “Hell” is Bad? - Event and Minhyeok

I’m in the midst of writing out a larger overall game guide for WHB— because I have a love of documentation, I guess— and given that this is the first event, and first available Minhyeok, I wanted to also give this some attention and do this up for fun! I’ll be covering the event as a whole, as well as Minhyeok as a unit.
So, where do you get him? What does he take to get?

He is available though his own unique banner that is available until Nov 8, 2023. The banner can be found were you would ordinarily pull, in the top right corner.
Available with higher rates through specified banner
Banner includes a pity system (though it’s quite steep at 150 pulls before guarantee)
His banner costs Greater Keys of Solomon not Lesser!
DO NOT pull on the regular Greater Keys banner— please be sure you click on his and it looks like the above image
This banner, as I said, is available until Nov 8, 2023
You can also pull his signature artifact “Minhyeok’s Warm Panties” from this banner (also S-Grade)
What’s the event?

Head on over to this screen by clicking the icon that’s on your Home Screen in the upper right— this is where you’ll get started on the first ever WHB event!
We’re following Minhyeok himself as the MC, through some adventures in Hell and the events that lead to his strange appearance on his banner!
Let’s take a closer look at what we can do during his eventful stay in Hell.
Event Achievements (Missions)

They’ve added an event specific achievements tab, where you can find all the event specific goals you can accomplish over the next 13 days.
Note: A lot of these require daily sign ins and grinding— they’re encouraging you to sink some time in!
What do they want us to do?
Most of these are accumulative goals— milestones as you work on these over the duration of the event.
Login Rewards
Read the event story
Clear event battles
Use the event exchange shop
User event currency
Use Action Power
Defeat Event Boss
What do they give us in return?
Action Power
Tears of Solomon
Pure Gold
Crowley’s Books
Choice Chests (Various Materials)
Most of the rewards that give Solomon’s Tears require some dedication— signing in every day, using a lot of AP, defeating the boss a lot, etc.
Like I said, they want us to put some time into this. (And it’s fun!)
Event Shop - Gamer’s Soul

I, stupidly, did not screen shot the shop before purchasing things. So not everything available is seen above. However— the best part about this is that all items available in this shop available using the grind-able event currency “Gamer’s Soul.”
It’s a worth it grind, especially if you’ve been lacking on Tears of Solomon. You’ll see where to grind these when we go over the story levels.
What’s available though?
One-Time Purchases
Minhyeok’s Warm Panties— his new event artifact (also available through the banner)
Voice Lines
Stickers
Lesser Keys of Solomon (3)
Greater Keys of Solomon (20)
Daily Purchases
Solomon’s Tears (30)
Devil Jellybean Choice Chest (3)
Devil Gummy Choice Chest (3)
Devil Pudding Choice Chest (3)
Hallucination Devil Pie Piece Choice Chest (3)
Hallucination Devil Pie Choice Chest (3)
Beginner’s Nightmare Candy Choice Chest (1)
Intermediate Nightmare Candy Choice Chest (1)
Advanced Nightmare Candy Choice Chest (1)
Artifact Enhancement Stones (3)
Obviously prioritize what you need in the moment— personally I’m stocking up on those damn tears now that they’re available.
Event Story Levels
You can expect the typical story level layouts here, too. Meaning, a story level followed by a few battles leading to another story level.
The event is quite short— but the story levels themselves have some length to them, and are quite cute
The battles are very easy—requirement level 10–and very open and accessible to beginners just starting out
The unique part of it, however, is at the end. You’ll find a repeatable boss stage here, with three difficulties.

This is where we’ll grind those Gamer Souls!
Like Dark Sanctuary, you need to beat the previous difficulty before you can move on to the next (so no jumping right to advanced)
There’s no listed level requirements, so just try them out and see how you do— they’re not too bad, and there’s no repercussions for losing
I’m beating Advanced with a party of 4 level 40s and 2 60+ units but I’m sure it’s doable at lower levels
Beginner
AP Cost: 25
First-Clear Reward: 20 Gamer Souls
Repeatable Reward: 10 Gamer Souls
Intermediate
AP Cost: 27
First-Clear Reward: 30 Gamer Souls
Repeatable Reward: 15 Gamer Souls
Advanced
AP Cost: 30
First-Clear Reward: 40 Gamer Souls
Repeatable Reward: 20 Gamer Souls
If you’re looking to take advantage of the shop and all the rewards in it, most of your time is going to be put to these for a while— don’t stress about it though, there’ll be more events to come.
Okay! What does Minhyeok do, though?

Our human buddy has gone through some things— so now he shares some of Satan’s power. He’s essentially S-Grade Satan— even donning a little bazooka in battle.
It may be because Satan hates me and won’t come home, but I’ve been enjoying using him on my team so far!
(Though his first promotion was an accident. Whoops. Don’t click blindly, now I’m committed.)
Basic Information:
Unit Type: Marksman
Element: Light
Paraphilia: Melcryptovestimtntaphilia
Grade: S
Typing that paraphilia out was something. It looks like I keyboard smashed.
Skill - Borrowed Power

“Draws a Cross of blood using Satan’s powers to attack the enemy.”
A basic attack with a long range— good for keeping him out of the fray while still doing good damage to the enemy. He attacks slow, though, keep that in mind— his ultimate will help with that though.
Ultimate - Complaining Helper

“Calls Sitri to drink his blood and call forth Scythe of Blood, which he swings at a 7x7 area to deal great DMG. The hit enemies are affected with Bleed for 4.00s, and the furious Sitri’s effects are added to double self’s ATK SPD for 15s.”
Sitri’s not happy, but he’s helping out! This is a wide range ultimate that afflicts bleed to anything it hits. Great for crowd control!
Essentially Minhyeok is mini-Satan. If you have Satan and want another like him, here you go! If you don’t, here’s something to use while you pine for him. (One day, Satan. You’re gonna come home.)
What about his artifact?

Personally… I don’t like it much. It’s not a bad artifact, but I don’t see anything in his kit that says he needs that amount of HP increase? I will say— bonus points to them for being “Hellvin Klein” though.
Great for units that need a lot of HP (30% at level 1? Yeesh)
Not personally what I’m going to equip him with, because I feel there’s better options.
I’m not using this on him, but if you want to go for it. It’ll increase the amount of damage he can take if an enemy slips through to him (because he should not be at the front lines!)
I’ve actually got Satan’s L-Grade Artifact “Silky Hair” on him— but anything that gives a bonus to his damage or his bleed effect status would be greatly more beneficial than this one.
What should I am to give him then?
ATK SPD and ATK buffing artifacts
Artifacts that enhance his bleed effect
Artifacts that simply have more utility on the battlefield (Semi-Permanent Marker, Shiny Leather Gloves, etc)
But hey— the HP% won’t hurt him either, if you want to pair him up with the one that came with him.
(Also yes, I’ve gotten Satan’s Silky Hair two or three times now but not the man himself. He’s torturing me.)
Hope this helps someone out!

Ask Game: List 5 things that make you happy, then put this in the askbox for the last 10 people who liked or reblogged something from you! get to know your mutuals and followers :)
Sorry, I didn't get to answer this til now. Thank you for sending this over to me! 1. My boyfriend. We've been together since January 2019. We knew eachother before that but we got closer in the fall of 2018 when I went through a really bad dental issue that made me sick for days unable to sleep and all that. He comforted me and was there for me that whole time. We are long distance, met online through a MMO and we're going as strong as ever. He's a fun guy and we can talk about anything, very open to eachother. We are very opposite but come together so well ^-^ He is so precious to me, treats me like no one ever has before and can make anything better. He is the sweetest man alive and I love him to pieces.

2. My cat Luna. My #1 companion. I've raised her since birth as she is the sole kitten my dad's cat had. I lived with my dad at the time and Zara (luna's mom) would bring Luna under my bed covers when she was like 3 days old. I had struggles trying to keep her in a safe space that she wouldn't just bring the kitten back in my bed. I even put the box with blankets in my bed and it didn't stop it lol. Luna is VERY attached to me due to this. A very clingy & affectionate cat. She always is near me and she sleeps on top of my butt/legs when I go to bed lol. She has a great fun personality and is so pretty. 3. Playing games. I mean a bit of a duh. I am definitely a gamer™ from MMO to single player RPG, narrative focus, to survival building to cozy games. I go with obsessive phases where all I want to play, do and consume is related around the game I am into at the moment. I've recently come back to The Sims franchise which I played for thousands upon thousands of hours where I was a kid/teenager (the sims 2 and the sims 3 being my big ones) but quit on the launch of Sims 4 because I hated what had been done by EA. I love the way the game is now and I am having a lot of fun with it. 4. Rain. I am a huge pluviophile. It will literally soothe my brain. I listen to soft rain videos when I have bad anxiety or unable to sleep (ADHD being a huge issue for my sleeping and rain sounds help focus my brain and relax instead of wandering in the highspeed rail train of thoughts I get lol) I even spent some time trying to figure out why it has such an effect on me and I think I cracked the code. I think it's the subconsciousness feeling of safety being inside while it's "not good" outside. That feeling of coziness the rain instantly gives. But I can't explain why I love it so much lol the sound, even the visuals. Gifs of rain give me instant good vibes. 5. Watching a bad movie with my online friends. Like a so bad it's good type of movie. Think The Room and... the Twilight saga (I'm sorry girls/boys/nbs) We laugh so freaking hard and it is such a good time.
#you're so sweet for sending me this#i don't usually like these chain letter type stuff haha#am i supposed to send it back to you? lol#phasebun

9 people I want to get to know better, thanks for the tag @carcarrot !!
last song: The Ghost Of Liberace, I was listening to the playlist I made of my top 10 fav Sparks songs last evening and thinking to myself "oh my freaking god these songs are so good, how on earth" (not a very surprising outcome of listening to one's favourite songs). And THEN I feel asleep actually so I don't remember actually listening to this one but I know it was the last one on the playlist
favorite color: I famously like to say that I love all colors (because I really do) but having to choose. Hmmm. Maybe some vivid shade of blue or this one kind of pale red or some shade of purple. I'm also a big fan of lots of different shades of pink in general. And also the combination of very soft and pastely yellow and pink, because I remember those were my favourite colors as a very small child and now, in big part for that reason, I like putting that colour combo in different things (like my arts)
currently watching: nothing >:[ I'm not much of a movies / tv shows person in general but I hope to change it at some point, my main problem at the moment though is that I just can't fit anything more in my current daily schedule because I've already been putting of things like reading and finally getting to all kinds of different things for months and months, and it's just ugggghhhh, there's never enough time for anything!!! But I just suck at time management at the moment so, one day hopefully. I want to say I will happily accept any recommendations but 1) I don't even know what I want to watch (because I never watch anything and don't know what I'd like lmao) 2) the problem described above
sweet/savory/spicy: savory maayyybbeee, but sweet is also important and something I crave quite often. So I think a balanced dose of both is what I need in my day to day life. I can mostly do without spicy though
currently playing: not a huge gamer (besides a couple of very specific game phases I had in the years past), but recently I've been playing a bunch of Super Mario type games because forgetting all my worries and booting up my Switch and leveling up my skills in platformers and racing games has been my favourite and almost foolproof, go-to way of relaxing this whole summer. Special shoutout to Mario Kart 8 for bringing our entire family together and letting me have one (1) video game thing I can safely say I have surpassed my borther in after just a couple hours of practice so it's like haha, I always lost in racing games and now I can win each time effortlessly >:]]], all thanks to having nothing better to do for several hours a day for many days. And yet more actively I want to say that I've been playing the Klonoa games (those two original platformers that got remastered) but I forgot about them and I'm pretty sure I actually haven't played them since January? Lmao (I forget about everything these days, but especially games. Fun fact: it took me almost 3 years to finish Undertale back in the day. Because I'd forget about it for several months at a time)
current obsession: Sparks unchangingly for this entire past year, and while the obsession never wanes it still has its slightly more and less intense periods, and these last couple of weeks have definitely been on the intense end of the scale. Nothing but Sparks on the brain this whole summer lol (and I welcome that fact with much happiness)
I think many people who I wanted to tag have already been tagged so uhhhh, open tags this time!! You can say you were tagged by me if you want to ^^
#i went a bit overboard with the length of these answers lmao. but that's just what i always do#tag game

frank! what are your top 10 favorite games? and what is your Final Message to gamers worldwide?
I was planning on making a longer post about this a while back but never got around to it -- you've inspired me. (EDIT: still haven't gotten around to making a post about this. Maybe next week? My schedule's been really weird lately.)
In any case, given the nature of Frank's blogging, it's not really possible to talk about these things well. I'm not good at articulating what I like or dislike about games -- I tend to either love them for almost inarticulable reasons or don't like them for vague/poorly-articulated reasons. If I say a game is "deep," that doesn't mean I can articulate its depths.
On that basis, I should probably just list ten games I like and give you some hints as to what the reasons are. Then you can try to figure it out. (I'll list them in approximate order of preference. They're mostly PC games.)
(EDIT: I can at least say that the Final Message is likely to involve Plato, Steven Universe, Homestuck, and the Mona Lisa.)
EDIT 2: all right, here goes
In approximate order of preference, here are ten games that I really like:
Portal 2
Planescape: Torment
Thief
Spec Ops: The Line
Dark Souls (1 or 2, can't decide)
Between Two Worlds (an indie browser RPG)
Portal
Zelda: Ocarina of Time / Majora's Mask
Dragon Age: Origins
Pokemon Red / Blue
What these all have in common, besides "I like them," is that they have some kind of "twist." Not necessarily a surprise ending, though there's a lot of that in the list. It's more a sense of them each going off in a direction I wasn't expecting, either in a good or bad way.
Some examples:
Portal 2: I liked the first game, and liked the first couple of hours of the second, but the sudden shift into adventure game territory around halfway through was jarring. I was like "wait, I thought this game was an innovative action-puzzler -- why am I doing stuff like eating cupcakes, going into hidden compartments, etc. in an adventure gamey way?" But the game uses that stuff in service of its final twist, which is really interesting, so it's all good.
Planescape: Once I get to the torture dungeon, this game becomes more than just an old-school-D&D adaptation. The best part of it is that its twist, once you reach it, doesn't break the game; rather, it makes it more like a traditional D&D game. Everything you've done before, with all the complicated character creation and such, is part of the way you get to the twist -- you don't need to be a D&D fan to appreciate this twist, but it becomes really cool once you realize that D&D fans have been waiting years for the "your character truly dies and you create a new one" moment in a video game.
Thief: Basic premise: you're a guy who steals things in this huge castle. While the first couple of missions are done pretty conventionally, and the game does a good job of gradually building up its twist, the game's best moments are ones where the twist is used to full effect. In particular, there's a moment where a character who has been taken hostage gives you a key that lets you free them, but only if you promise not to kill them. You want to kill them -- they betrayed you, you're the hero, you have to get revenge. But if you do, you'll be stuck without the key, and won't be able to get that extra experience point. And the extra experience points matter a lot, because the twist in this game is that (1) you have to get a lot of experience to progress, and (2) you actually want to get a lot of experience, because it lets you replay each mission on new difficulty levels.

Platform of choice when gaming? PC, but have frequented the PS4
Top 5 games of all time. For me - BG3 of course, GW2, WoW but Classic (BEFORE Mists of Pandaria - I keep trying it, but meh), God of War (the series), and ANY Lego game - especially the Marvel universe ones (Indian Jones ones are fun too). Ok I know that's technically more than 5, but at least I narrowed it down! If this was 20 - 30 years ago I'd have said Mario or DOOM or Warcraft "Stop Poking Me!" iykyk
Favorite boss? Well, I always loved the character of Thrall from WoW. For BG3 I don't really have a favourite, the whole game just rocks.
Best game soundtrack (full album or single track)? BG3's is the only one I remember actually paying attention to - so I'd go with that.
Most memorable gaming moment? My first BG3 run, tripping my way through because I read nothing about it before hand. My brother and husband convinced me to try it. HOLY FUCK - I've been hooked ever since. Also - when the Emperor is revealed for who he USED to be - blew my mind. I'm normally able to catch on to twist like that. Never saw it coming.
First game you ever played? I had a Vic20 with a tape deck for loading games, I literally cannot remember the name of the first game I played! Apple drop or something like that. We also had an IBM Best with an 8 1/2" boot disc - there was this little Castle adventure type game where the character you played was a spade and you 'killed' things by running into them. It was yellow on black - black screen, yellow characters. I loved that game.
Most recent game you played? BG3
Most anticipated upcoming game? None really.
Most hours you’ve put into a single game? I've played WoW off and on since Oct. 2007. I've played BG3 for almsot a year and have almost 1300 hrs in.
Game you’ve replayed the most? See above lol
Favorite game genre? RPG
Favorite game character? I don't have just one - I LOVE so many of the BG3 characters and NPCs. I can't choose! Having read the old WoW books/comics and playing it - Thrall is an amazing character.
Coolest enemy/boss design? Illidan Stormrage. Raphael.s all.
Worst game you’ve ever played? Any first person shooter - it's not so much the games are bad, it's that my brain/eyes can't handle the angles and such.
Hardest game you’ve ever played? Civilization - I'm horrible at it. I keep trying. I have Civ VI.
Single player, multiplayer, or both? I prefer single player cause I like running off and doing my thing, but multiplayer can be fun too - but I tend to only do that with my husband or my brother and his boyfriend lol!
Do you play mobile games? Sometimes, just just quick little ones
A game you started, but never finished. The Witcher series - working on it. Skyrim - can't seem to get into it.
A game that you wish you could play for the first time again. BG3 and Wow
A game that made you cry. BG3
A game you thought you wouldn’t like, but ended up loving? BG3
Do you watch any other gamers? Yes! I've started watching streamers
Do you typically choose to play a male or female character (when asked to pick)? Female - I am CIS female and just have that preference
If you could live in one of the games you’ve played, which one would it be? BG3 HANDS DOWN - GIVE ME ZEVLOR NOW
Favorite environment in a game? I love Act 1 of BG3 as a whole - there's just so much to see and find.
Least favorite environmental hazard (e.g. poison swamp, fire/lava, etc.) ugh that hag's swamp
A popular game that you just can’t get into. Fortnite. My husband and 10 year old son have tried to get me into it, even got me some skins - can't do it. Same reason I gave for not liking shooters - it's really hard for my eyes to focus on it properly and just feels bad to my brain.
Do you still buy physical games? Nah, my house is cluttered enough
Favorite childhood game? see above - I'm old.
Favorite aspect of a game (e.g. exploration, combat, fashion/customization, environments, graphics, bosses, roleplaying, etc.) Exploration!!!
If you could only play one game for the rest of your life, what would it be? BG3
Have you ever rage quit a game? If so, what game and what caused the rage quit? Nope
Most embarrassing gaming moment. Accidentally hitting a friend not foe
Funniest gaming moment. Licking that fucking spider...every time
Do you own any gaming themed memorabilia? (e.g. collector’s editions, posters, prop replicas, statues, clothing, etc.) Yes - Mostly WoW and GW2
Hottest video game character? Halsin, Zevlor, Gale, and Rolan are all tops for me.
Kill, Fuck, Marry (choose three characters) Gortash, Halsin, Zevlor
An unpopular gaming opinion you have. Gortash is ugly as hell inside and out
What’s something you want to see in the future of gaming? More games like BG3 in feel - the community is so amazing
Best game cover art. Toss up between BG3 and GW2
Video Game Related Asks for Gaymers!

How to find a good gaming PC in Qatar

Creating the ideal gaming experience is more important than simply assembling components when building a gaming PC. For gamers, streamers, and tech aficionados alike, it is a badge of honor, akin to building your very own dream machine. There has never been a better moment to step in and build your gamingPC in Qatar, where e-sports competitions and vibrant online communities are driving the gaming industry. In addition to having a PC that is customized to meet your specific requirements, you will probably save money in the process. Are you prepared to begin? From selecting the appropriate components to putting them together expertly, this tutorial will walk you through each step. Additionally, we will include advice tailored to Qatari players to further streamline the process.
Let us get this done! Why Construct a Gaming Computer in Qatar?
Here are some fantastic reasons why constructing your own PC is worthwhile, particularly in Qatar, if you are still unsure:
1. Personalization, man!
You can select components that suit your playstyle, whether you are an avid first-person shooter, an MMO grinder, or someone who simply enjoys exploring wide worlds. Do you want a simple powerhouse or a slick RGB setup? It is all up to you.
2. Get More for Your Money by Saving It
Although they are convenient, pre-built gaming PCs are frequently too expensive for what they offer. You may more effectively manage your budget and achieve greater performance for less money by building your own setup. Putting everything together oneself also gives you a sense of accomplishment.
3. Getting into Top Gear
The newest GPUs, CPUs, and accessories are available at several amazing gaming retailers in Qatar, such as PC Builder Qatar. If you are stuck, the knowledgeable staff can help you. Additionally, you will find specialty items that are difficult to locate elsewhere, such as luxury casings or personalized cooling loops.
4. Participate in the Expanding Gaming Industry
The gaming community in Qatar is flourishing. There are many chances to meet other gamers, from casual get-togethers to esports competitions. Even more local streamers and content producers are showing off their sets and abilities. You might be able to join this active community with your new PC.
Step 1: Establish Your Spending Limit
Determine how much you are willing to spend before you go shopping. For a good setup, gaming PCs in Qatar typically cost between QAR 5,000 and QAR 10,000. To aid with your planning, below is a preliminary budget breakdown:
Graphics Card (GPU): 30-40% of your budget (the gaming powerhouse).
Processor (CPU): 20-25% for smooth multitasking and performance.
Motherboard: 10-15% to tie everything together.
RAM and Storage: 15-20% for faster load times and multitasking.
Case & Power Supply (PSU): 10-15% for durability and aesthetics.
Cooling & Accessories: 5-10% for keeping things cool and stylish.
Pro Tip: Set aside a small amount for upcoming improvements. Having space to expand can save you money in the long run because gaming hardware changes frequently. If you do not already have a gaming mouse or mechanical keyboard, do not forget to budget for these as well as a good monitor.
Step 2: Select Your Components The exciting part is selecting your components. Here's a quick summary:
1. The Gaming Muscle: The Graphics Card (GPU) o Mid-
range: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060. o High-end: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090. o Pro Tip: Keep an eye out for PC Builder Qatar specials. They are renowned for offering incredible discounts, particularly during sales periods. Significant savings are frequently offered at seasonal occasions like Black Friday and back-to-school.
2. Processor (CPU): The Brain of Your Computer o Mid-range: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X or Intel Core i5-13600K. o High-end: AMD Ryzen 9-7900X3D or Intel Core i9-14900K. o Your CPU selection should be in line with your needs for multitasking and gaming. Higher-core CPUs will be advantageous for gamers who broadcast as well.
3. Motherboard: The Support Structure Select one that works with your GPU and CPU. Seek out: o AMD CPUs: B650 or X670 chipsets; o Intel CPUs: B760 or Z790 chipsets. Make sure there are enough slots on your motherboard for upcoming additions like more RAM or storage.
4. RAM: 16GB DDR4 or DDR5 is ideal for the majority of games for smooth performance. If you wish to future-proof your setup or multitask, upgrade to 32GB. For instance, additional RAM can be really helpful if you stream or edit films.
5. Storage: Space and Speed o Essential: For fast load times, use a 1TB NVMe SSD, such as the Samsung 980 Pro. Additional Storage: Include a 2TB HDD for media files and games. This is essential if you play a lot of AAA games.
6. Power Supply (PSU): Keep the Lights On
For efficiency, aim for an 80+ Bronze certification or above. Reputable brands include NZXT, Montech, and Xigmatek. Make sure the PSU you choose has adequate power to accommodate upcoming upgrades.
7. Case: Your Rig’s Home
Give proper airflow and upgrading possibilities top priority. Do you want RGB? Go ahead and use your creativity! To showcase your components, think about cases with tempered glass panels.
8. Cooling System: Stay Cool
Cooler Master and NZXT are aftermarket coolers that look better and work better than stock coolers. During those extended gaming hours, keep your setup cool. Are you feeling daring? At Computer Store in Qatar, we specialize in creating custom water-cooling loops. They contribute a beautiful visual appeal in addition to performance.
9. Peripherals & Accessories
Do not overlook monitors, mechanical keyboards, and gaming mice. Your gaming experience can also be improved with a high-quality desk and chair. To stay comfortable for extended periods of time, look for designs that are ergonomic.
Step 3: Where to Buy in Qatar
Here's where to get your equipment:
• PC Builder Qatar: Everything related to gaming in one place. They provide great after-sales service in addition to having everything you need.
• Pcbuilderqatar.com: Do you prefer to shop online? They provide delivery services throughout Qatar and the GCC. For peripherals, you can also look at foreign possibilities, but local retailers frequently offer warranties and faster assistance.
Pro Tip: To get fantastic bargains, keep an eye on their periodic specials and promotions. For information on forthcoming events or flash sales, see Computer Stores in Qatar social media profiles.
Step 4: Put Your Computer Together
Although it may seem daunting, assembling a PC is actually rather simple. Take these actions:
1. Prepare your work area: Locate a spotless, static-free space.
2. Installing the CPU involves carefully inserting it into the motherboard socket.
3. Install RAM: Insert the sticks of RAM into the slots.
4. Set Up Storage: Connect your HDD or SSD.
5. Mount the Motherboard: Fasten it firmly within the case.
