Okay so I just heard this theory about Rogueneto in X-Men 97 that might make everything better, potential spoilers below

So, I've heard a theory that Rogue is only hanging out with Magneto because he's the only one that can touch her, and she's practicing touching other people without draining them with Magneto, so she can eventually touch Gambit.

I hope this is true because I hate Rogueneto and love Romy, and I think it would be beautiful to see an adaptation where she can finally touch Remy ❤️. Plus, I do actually like Magneto, and I don't want him to be a creep.

why did he say that? Bruce doesn't know, it just felt like that's how Bruce Wayne would've responded bc what's more Brucie than fighting with Superman for Batman's heart? anyway, upon reflection, this was maybe not the best response in terms of long term consequences, but he's committed to the bit now.

a week after all this goes down, news reporter Clark Kent is caught saying that Batman deserves better than Bruce Wayne, so is a third suitor putting his hat in the ring to win over batman?
