Tbh as a result of my debilitating social anxiety/inability to understand how forming bonds with others even works I've spent so long refusing to assume that I'm friends with someone until it's Abundantly Obvious, to the point that I have been actively shocked when I realize how important I am to some people, so at this point I think I'd rather live my life assuming that I am friends with people.

I know people like me usually need someone else to clarify those boundaries so best case scenario I can give people that moment of "oh! someone likes me!" and at worst what? I just have to tell someone I think they're cool and I want to be friends? That's how you make friends! Might as well give it a shot, right?

#I mean I'm not gonna go from 0 to 100 with people I don't know or start crossing boundaries recklessly #more I'm just going to widen my definition of “friend” a little #seems better than the alternative #which is just never making friends and constantly assuming people dont like me #that's not helpful to anyone

mixed feelings because on one hand damn the mad lads did it on the other hand this is barely gonna do shit in the grand scheme of things with how slowly resin regenerates

#like if you log into genshin twice a day which i do your resin will never cap bc it already doesn't. so like you won't even notice?#and its only marginally better if you log in once a day. i think it'll take ~26.6 hours for 200 resin to regenerate #if you log in less than that then 40 basically gives you an extra run or two which is always better than none so its a small win regardless #high key i'll actually be annoyed though if they're only doing this to prepare for raising the character lvl to 100 #and this is the ONLY thing they do for it. if the lvl 100 leak ends up not being true though then okay fine yay whatever #but in general what i rather have is them either increase drops/resin regeneration rate or lower how much certain things cost #if there's one thing that pisses me off about the resin system it's that world bosses cost 40 resin for max 3 drops #like i honestly don't give a fuck about anything else LOL #oh also talent books i hate farming those #0.txt

sometimes I rewatch mackenyu's fight scenes as zoro and I become irrationally angry because I can tell that this absolute unit of a nerd enjoyed 1. the fight scene itself 2. playing the role of the Roronoa Zoro

This moment in the comics looks so ominous by itself, like you'd think Luca was trying to hide that he broke something important or something similarly grave but it's actually just Luca trying to do his due diligence as a friend/guard to comic!Euden who literally goes into a catatonic state for the rest of the day if he sees too cute things, which would admittedly be a very incapacitating and dangerous trait for a leader in war.

Ah, the atypical duties required of Euden's friend group must keep them all on edge even in more concretely canon material. Nothing like trying to keep your lord from having to bodily throw himself at any harm, keep him away from the knives in the kitchen lest he risk contaminating the food and I cite Cleo's real concern of him 'fainting from blood loss' enough to tell him to go lie down, and the moment in chapter 13 where they see strange ominous liquid, and they go 'eep bad vibes from that thing' except Euden goes essentially 'I wanna touch it' instead haha (literally, 'I feel drawn to it').

In general, to quote Yurius expressing this to Euden:

"Terrific amount of anguish indeed", Yurius! If only you knew the half of it. This kinda veered off from the initial image but yeah I guess even the silly dubiously canon comics must make Euden's friends suffer!

#cats #his eyes are always so big and weird he no longer looks like a cat anymore sometimes.. in a way...#it's hard to understand.. complicated vibes on this boy #his summer sprawl (laying flopped out on the floor weird because of the heat)#I AM still trying to get some costumes done and also post another poll advtnure so I can finally finish it lol #the weather this month has just been soooo.... There was the heat wave and then after like 2 days of coolenss where I was like 'ah! finally #I can be productiv!' but just as soon as I had recovered from the heat.. it got hot again ghhhh #currently sweating inside. I actually had to leave my doctors appointment early today because I was just so so warm from #sitting in the car and the fac tthat half the buildings still do not have their air up very high and etc. and I felt so nausous #and flushed and started to get back and stomach pains for some reason.. Which I guess is good in a way to further confirm to doctors that #I Have Something Wrong With Me lol (most normal people should not be this heat sensitive I think) but is also still a little stinky #because I still payed a copay for the fulla appointment time but cit it short by leaving 15minues early.. grrr #ANYWAY. It seems like recently it's just hot all the time but it will ocasionally tempt you with a cool day of reprieve BUT don't let your #guard down! because as soon as you start to think 'hey things are getting better! :0' the sun will be like NO actualy. scalding temperature #be upon ye..#Which of COURSE. I would rather have hot weather with little breaks in between than just constant hot weather. 100% definitely.#but it just always makes me sad because I get my hopes up lol.. JUST as I've recovered from the past heat and am So Ready To Start #On All My Things now That I'm Not As Sick And Hey Maybe It's Even Cool Enough To Do A Costume! .. my hopes are dashed #.. woe and so on and so forth. . Which I am stil managing to get a few things done but just.. not the things I really WANT to do (costumes.#sculptures. edit videos. etc. ).#anyway.. look at son..
