Okay but i do think Phoenix keeps forgetting to like… enjoy the little things when it comes to taking care of himself. Sounds weird but like, think abt it - nicely scented shampoos, actually being patient and enjoying taking care of yourself, face masks etc, i think we underestimate how nice and gratifying those things can be, including Phoenix. Like he just takes showers and is done with it.

i wish i could put into words all my thoughts about this chapter because i have so many but its interesting to me that people consistently use this chapter to prove aiura is a "girls girl" and teruhashi isnt, which is true to an extent (although its annoying when people act like teruhashi is horrible for something she thought only in her head out of frustration and belief that her crush was into a different girl and didnt express outwardly but whatevs) but it actually ends with aiura still feeling threatened by teruhashi and teruhashi not feeling it nearly as much
