Mer!Satoru definitely pokes at your feet and is surprised when you react and is less amused when you kick him on accident. Getou, on the other hand found it hilarious

oh absolutely!! sulks when you kick him and demands you kiss it better (because that's a human custom, right? right?) as suguru doesn't bother to hide his laugh. probably even pulls you under the water as retaliation. which makes suguru coo over you all over again as you surface, sputtering loudly.

(they're delicate, satoru. be more careful, he scolds, wiping away a bit of seawater from your face. there's amusement tucked up in the corner of his mouth, and you don't think it's really a scolding at all.)

anyway satoru is a menace land OR sea. it's just the way he is.

Now that I'm finally getting around to playing the FF7 remake, I get to see all the smaller cute Clerith moments 🥺. Why was no one going to tell me that Cloud had to sneak out of Aerith's house and the scene that plays if you get caught is so cute or that they get called a couple continuously throughout Chapter 9 in the Wall Market.

Aerith getting all giggly when Cloud says her dress is "alright" and Madam M getting annoyed with them was too good.

thinking about the fact that episode 5 of Loki gave us confirmation that Loki’s time slipping is connected to the people he loves (slipping between the timelines of his friends, ending up with Mobius twice as much as the others).

thinking about Loki’s time slipping in episode 1, always following where he thinks/are told Mobius will be.

thinking about how when Loki actually finds Mobius in episode 1, it doesn’t stop the time slipping, but he slips and comes back to the exact same place every time. where Mobius is.

⚠️MANGA SPOILERS!!⚠️

i have lots of Thoughts. about what’s potentially going on between Hisoka and Illumi in the dark continent arc but i’m pretty decided on what i THINK is happening here so until proven otherwise in an chapter update i’m operating under this theory;

Illumi says that he and Hisoka had a “give-and-take” relationship (for years) but that there was always an intent to kill each other eventually. we know that Hisoka also uses this terminology when proposing a deal with Kurapika, but most importantly he also says “it’s not like we’re getting married-”

so with Illumi, we know that Hisoka has proposed a “marriage” this time, with the engagement ring being a contract to kill him and the prenup being if Hisoka dies in any other way and/or is killed by someone else before Illumi gets to him, Illumi STILL GETS THE MONEY

we also know that Hisoka can now revive himself with bungee gum under certain conditions

SO WHAT I’M THINKING IS... it is actually IMPERATIVE that Illumi kills Hisoka. Illumi killing Hisoka is likely the only way Hisoka will LIVE THROUGH THIS ARC...

basically, Hisoka has always wanted to fight Illumi (and Illumi knows this), but they have not due to some unknown factor that has kept them working together instead. (i personally think he wants to fight Illumi the Most and has been saving him for as long as possible, but i’ll admit that i’m bias)

upon his brush with death after fighting Chrollo, Hisoka is now hunting the spiders and knows very well that he could actually Really Die this time. this may be his and Illumi’s last chance to fight all out (ie. to the death) and it is very important to him that they have this opportunity.

so Hisoka proposes a deal Illumi won’t refuse; a huge sum of money with no chance of not being paid as long as Hisoka technically dies. his prenup was not only for an engagement, but also a will. if Hisoka cannot fight Illumi, he is offering him monetary compensation for their relationship ending without it’s destined crescendo

but Illumi is agreeing to fight Hisoka despite the fact he doesn’t actually have to in order to be paid, not only because they both want this, but because HISOKA IS PLACING HIS LIFE IN ILLUMI’S HANDS... it will be up to ILLUMI in that moment if he kills Hisoka in a way that makes it possible for Hisoka to revive or not.

(there is probably also something with Hisoka requesting Illumi to join the Spiders... maybe even something as simple as being able to move freely amongst his enemies but that’s not the point of this word pile)

knowing how they are, i think it is obvious that they’re three-birds-one-stone-ing this situation. Illumi is supposed to kill Hisoka, protect or hide Hisoka so that he can revive, and Hisoka’s death will complete the contract so their “engagement” will be fulfilled into a “marriage”. Illumi gets paid, Hisoka lives, they had some fun, and then they continue hunting the spiders together

(i also like that Illumi seems to be having fun as he explains this extremely fatal game of theirs to the Spiders... his life is on the line too, after all)

my only huge interest after that is.. if a “give-and-take” is described by Hisoka as a relationship where both parties must be reaping benefits (otherwise the relationship ends), i wonder if “marriage” would mean both parties... work together no matter if they are benefiting personally from the deal... 👀(ominous)

looking at your commentary and i love that tommy asks if that was ok after the kiss TT and then giving instructions and being the one to make plans after so all buck has to do is show up and have a good time

no no no exactly like. tommy also looks like. i mean he can hold his own obviously, but buck would have talked himself in circles if tommy hadn't kissed him. and tommy is cautious in his asking, even though buck definitely kissed back. and i also like to some degree that tommy seems intuitive enough to recognize that this was kind of a big deal for buck, and so he gives him some space to process, and makes a solid plan to see him again. and fuck!! that's all evan has ever fucking wanted!! someone to assert themselves and say 'i want this!!!' -- and listen i dont have any illusions about bucktommy being an endgame ship (who knows what'll happen) but i DO think that buck will learn a lot about himself and about relationship dynamics that he hasnt ever experienced before. 💗 god. god. GOD
