I think a lot about Leo’s tendency to push his way into the spotlight despite clearly being a natural in the shadows. Hell, you could argue that his worst moments are when he’s forcing himself onstage, and his best are when he does things no one notices until it’s already been done.

Someone says that's a cruel suggestion and Henry responds that it was a cruel deed.#The Witches: The main character asks if the grandmother's missing thumb was the result of a run-in with a witch she had as a child and#she immediately goes silent and unresponsive for the rest of the night.#Hickory Dickory Dock: The murderer's accomplice turns on him after she's caught because she wants the psychopath to hang for his crimes.#The Giving Tree: The titular tree continually gives away pieces of herself to the human she loves even letting him chop down her trunk#so that he can make a boat to sail away in. None of the Highlander sequels were good but I was entertained by all of them in their own way
#3 is probably the weakest? like 2 and 4 are quite bad in their own ways but they have redeeming elements I find really interesting#and 3 does too! there’s a magician! he has a boy! a baby boy! I like his girlfriend. she’s in crash. but like. weak villain weak finale#it just has less going on! and 2 is like. a bad movie but it’s an INSANE bad movie I had the time of my LIFE watching it. Sean Connery gets#a makeover montage. highlanders are actually aliens. Virginia Madsen is there. Michael Ironside plays a guy named katana. and half of 4 is#about duncan Macleod who’s hashtag not my Highlander but bizarrely the emotional core of the movie really works for me. also I like that#Connor kills a priest like that’s insane. and of course the SIMMERING homoeroticism#‘don’t you want to be inside me’ <- they say this TWICE#anyway I haven’t seen the only Adrian Paul one I’m sure it’s bad#arggg I just remembered ‘I love you connor’ followed by an immediate decapitation…

#I've been writing Charmer Lore in my head#I've also been playing around with Synchrons and Resonator#deckwise and hc wise because I LOVE THE MONSTERS OK.#yugioh is so wonderful in the way it has so many silly creatures#yet they dont ever do anything with them#<- literally lying they LITERALLY revealed lots of monster figurines yesterday#cross duel was one of the best things to happen ever simply cause of the lore it gave to effect monster#rip to a real one#yugioh#random ramble#btw can i just say im so happy theres been such a bigger focus on the monsters merch wise as of recent.#like im happy the “spin-offs” are also getting more love (you can only own so much kaiba and yugi merch)#but its so nice having stuff that isn't. dark magician and dark magician girl#or blue-eyes#(shoutouts to my real ones though!!!)#the ZEUS thing they revealed was probably one of the best things ever to me.#also .... siiiigh ok#i think funko pops are kinda ugly BUT!#they recently also showed a cyber end dragon one and it looked so cute and i think a lot of the monster ones are like. super fine#so im glad they exist somewhat.
