I hate when people say Piccolo (of dragonballz fame) can't fuck, or doesn't have genitals, or (and this one especially pisses me off) is aroace, or whatever, because "his species reproduces asexually". Well first of all reproduction and sex and sexuality are not the same thing. Second of all he's a fictional alien, he can have a penis and not need it for anything. and on that note the original dragon ball literally had a gag about the main character patting people's crotches to figure out if they're a man or a woman, you think he wouldn't have something down there to mark him as a man for goku's sake?? Third of all I love aspec headcanons, but if you headcanon him as aspec because of his species's (speculative!! I cannot stress enough that there's nothing canon about this!!!) biology then I think I am entitled to killing you with knives and hammers. biology doesn't define sexuality!!!!!! he can have sex even if it means nothing to him biologically!!!

PLUS if you look it up as I literally did in the middle of writing this post you will find that slugs are not asexual, they are hermaphrodites and many species can self-fertilize. Which might look like asexual reproduction if you think asexual reproduction means no sex is happening, but that's not what it means. If his species is really space slugs then he probably does have a penis and perhaps another orifice (not mandatory, it seems some species do everything through the penis) and he can fertilize himself to make eggs if he wants to. (and considering king piccolo laid eggs through his mouth I am inclined to assume the "other orifice" might be the mouth. kinda weird but considering some snails bite off their penises after copulation it might make sense. put those big chompers to work.)

Sleep schedule always messed up somehow and I started this drabble at 4 AM after only two hours of sleep soooo earlybird!price x nightowl!reader

5.30 AM. Price woke up. Even on leave, he woke up pretty early. His darling was sleeping still. He felt an urge to go to the bathroom, yet stayed still for a moment to admire the sleeping beauty in his arms. He couldn't help but trace every feature of your face with his fingers. The hint of gloom under your lashes made him sigh. To be honest, he dislikes your habit of staying up late. It's unhealthy. He tried to help you fix it. You end up relapsing back to your old habit when he was on deployment. Said you couldn't sleep when he wasn't there with you. Ah, he always can't get angry when you stare at him with your drowsy gaze. Gentle kisses on the dark circles under your eyes to make up for his guilt, were they enough?

Eventually, he untangled himself from you to go to the bathroom. Years in the military made him feel restless when he stayed in bed for too long. He sauntered to the kitchen. Followed by quiet movement to make breakfast for both of you so as to not arouse you from your sleep.

One hour later the breakfast was ready. He cleaned the kitchen first, hesitated to wake you up this early. Besides, the breakfast would still taste good even if it went cold; he made sure to toast the bread crunchy and buttery just like how you love it. So he took a moment to relax. Read a newspaper on the couch with a cup of Earl Grey tea.

You nodded your head. Hand in hand walked to the kitchen, Price made a mental note to tuck you back to bed after breakfast. As much as he wanted you to be an early bird like him, your drowsy face melted his heart. He would join you in bed later.
