so I started playing on of the sao games (Alicization Lycoris) and just finished chapter 1, which unlocks the "create character" screen

Question: Who's the possessive one over other, Kirito or Eugeo? For more clarification, the possessive one would always allowed their partner to go out with their friends or even amicable exes but draw the line when some creeps try to flirt or hit on their partner. Hope this helps!

Now, I was going to say Kirito, because of his tendency to not stand for injustice like that, but then something came to me.

I do think Kirito would step in, for sure. But only if Eugeo asked him to, or if things were getting out of hand. Because I think Kirito would have full confidence that Eugeo could handle it himself, for the most part. Though, Kirito would definitely be pissed off at the creeps that were bothering Eugeo he would refrain from doing anything about it unless Eugeo asked him to do so or if Eugeo looked like he was in real trouble.

As for Eugeo, he would definitely and brazenly rush in to come to Kirito's defense without hesitation.

Why?

Eugeo broke the taboo index to save Tiese and Ronie. He over powered the seal of the right eye to stop Tiese and Ronie from those two creepy and fucked up nobles, Raios and Humbert.

Eugeo wouldn't hesitate and put himself between Kirito and any creeps that are harassing him. Even though Eugeo knows Kirito could handle himself, he just wouldn't be able to help himself from rushing in and putting himself between Kirito and the creeps, because they would remind him of Raios and Humbert. To Eugeo it would be a trigger and his body would act on its own.

He would definitely have better control over himself, and wouldn't lethally harm the creeps harassing Kirito if all they're doing is being creepy and harassing him. But if they TOUCHED Kirito, that's a different story.

I think the same would go for Kirito too. If any creeps tried to force Eugeo into something, he wouldn't hesitate to get into a fight with them.

The fight would only turn lethal if Kirito and Eugeo had no choice in order to protect the other and themselves. If a fight does happen and it doesn't come to that, well they'd give the creeps a good beating and send them packing.

Honestly they're probably both equally as possessive/protective but they would respond in different ways to that kind of situation.

Something that I think about a lot sometimes is how in SAO there’s this really interesting dynamic because (at least for that first season) these people all stuck in the game are literally war veterans by the time they come out into the real world again. But like, they’re coming out into the real world where before they were in a video game, and it’s just this concept of yes okay “it was just a video game blah blah blah” but like they were literally all fighting for their lives?? They witnessed people dying left and right all the time. And so having these straight up teenagers that were the military generals and front-line fighters just be dropped back into normal ordinary teenage lives - how do you even cope with that? How do you even begin to explain to your loved ones that yeah it might’ve been a video game, but it was a war front too, and 9 outta 10 people have got some sort of PTSD after escaping the game.

I dunno, I just have a lot of feelings about this and I want it to be addressed more because idk if they touched on it a lot in the show since it’s been a bit since I watched it and i never read the manga so- yeah.

So me and my friends have had an ongoing discussion on whether or not Kirito from Sword Art Online is transgender.

It's primarily a jokey thing based on some fun details like how Kirito has a female-only avatar in GunGale Online, that they feel more at home in an avatar than in their own body, that they were primarily reclusive and introverted, and got swept into a harem, and that in some of the newer SAO games you can customize the protagonist (make them a girl) and still be Kirito.

But like. I was playing one of the really old SAO games for the channel since I needed videos for this week and like.
