It's kinda funny how the Switch 2 basically got leaked and we now know what it's gonna look like, yet Nintendo responded with an alarm clock that tracks your movements and the most perfect music app they could have ever done.

Nintendo just dropped their brand new Nintendo Music app, which if you have not heard of it yet, is an app similar to Spotify or Apple Music specifically for Nintendo soundtracks.

One of the OSTs shown off in the trailer is, strangely, the OST for Tomodachi Collection. Currently the OSTs for Tomodachi Life and Miitopia are unavailable (likely to be added in a later update I would presume). For now though, this is the only one available for fans to listen to online legally!

This is probably the first time Nintendo has actively acknowledged the Tomodachi series since... Probably almost a decade if you exclude Miitopia and Miitomo. Personally I download all of my music so I don't think I will get a ton of mileage out of this app, but I'm sure a lot of you would, especially those of you already paying for an NSO subscription.

(Also side note for all you LastFM scrobbleheads out there, this app currently does not seem to support LastFM scrobbling. Perhaps in the future or through some alternate means it will work, but for now it does not.)
