Astrology Observations No.27:
*just based on my observations, pleas only take what resonates
(Trying to write more posts and answer more asks lately, everything has been so busy omg- hope you all enjoy what I can put out there tho! c:)
-A perspective but I think Libra placements (big 6 but especially Venus and mars) are attracted to harmonious/balanced appearances, like I think having that glow from confidence in your aesthetic and it fitting you and things like that can make you just as attractive to Libra placements as conventional measurements of beauty
-Sun Conjunct Venus makes you really charismatic and you probably attract a lot of people by being yourself, and sometimes these natives can be people pleasers especially if they’re trying to impress others
-Quietly I associate your mars sign and your MC the most with the work you’ll do. Mars because you can’t divorce your passion from your work (says the Capricorn). And MC because it’s what you’re known for and that’s often tied to some sort of work/action. North node is tied in there too but it plays out so long term it can be harder to summarize. (I can do a post about the general fields that placements tend to go towards if folks are interested?)
-Aries and Sagittarius Mercury tied for most likely to accidentally blurt out your secrets
-Chiron Venus aspects (especially square, opposition, and conjunction) may find themselves undoing a lot of pressure around their looks or being especially hard on themselves over their perceived flaws/imperfections
-The sign over your 5th house may denote if you have many or few casual romantic connections (Saturn/Capricorn pointing to fewer one end of the scale and Jupiter/Sagittarius pointing to many at the other end of the scale, depends on Venus and mars too)
-You may find yourself accidentally pouring your heart out to water moons (especially cancer over how emotionally in-tune they are and scorpio over traaaaumaaa oml)
-I feel like Sagittarius can feel less mutable because Jupiter makes some of the forms of expression so big (ex. A Sagittarius Mars can get so mad at you and blow up, Sagittarius Mars/Venus typically date many partners, Sagittarius moons can express their emotions in a big way- I probably feel this way bc I’m Sag Pluto, the extremes lol)
-I’ve noticed that Venus dominants can seek more attention compared to like Leo/sun doms
-Fixed Venus can become codependent on their partner, putting heavy exceptions on their person for them to be their everything if underdeveloped— but if developed they can be very loyal to their person
-Mutable Venus aren’t quite commitment-phobic but they tend to be looking for a really special combination of traits to actually settle down with (when they’re monogamous), otherwise they get distracted very easily (or they treat their romantic options, and sometimes friends, like very temporary things- for better or for worse)
-Cardinal Venus are most likely to really go after what they want romantically, I think out of all the Venus modalities they have the most accurate idea of what they want at heart, from the start. But on the shadow side of this, they may be manipulative or try to conform their partner into what they want. (may play out differently for moon opposition/square Venus)
-I feel like where ever Venus is heavy in your chart may be how people assume you’re gracious but in a somewhat shallow way (ex. Venus conjunct mercury, people may find your voice and expression charming but assume you’re not that smart)
-Venus/Saturn aspects/ Capricorn Venus tend to have a lot of unrequited love interests and crushes that don’t reciprocate their affections when they’re younger but as they get older they tend to get the most affection from suitors that are older than them (be careful out here! Sometimes these old folks don’t know anything and they have bad intentions- girl when I say I had to take my own advice)
-Leos (big 3, especially sun & Asc) often know the right thing to say to charm you, it’s like when they want to they hit that sweetspot dead on. So do Libra’s (big 3) but they tend to approach things less directly, like compliments that really sit with you and come onto you in quieter, sometimes less serious way (if they have both in their big 3 then they’re just -a charmer- and idk I take that at face value 80% of the time lol but I’m a skeptic)
-I find that Pisces and Sagittarius placements (big 6 but especially sun for identity and moon for emotionality) often get VERY into spirituality at some point in their lives
-People with Jupiter in Virgo tend to work very diligently, almost too hard sometimes and they can be prone to burning themselves out from this behavior (something something don’t burn the candle at both ends- hypocritical from a Jupiter in Capricorn person lol but still)
-We talk about how Scorpio placements observe every detail about you, but I like Pisces placements (big 6 but especially sun, moon, Venus, and mars) have told me things about myself and habits I have that I’ve never noticed about myself. They’re super observant they notice a lot. I think they have this in common with their sister sign, Virgo. But I noticed Pisces will use their intuition in their observations instead of just analyzing. (I.e. you do x when you’re angry, is it because you feel defensive? Or I noticed you light up when you talked about him, you must really like him)- can also apply to Neptune Conjunct your big 3 (especially moon), and big 3 in 12th but it’s a bit more second nature to them than Pisces
-The season of your Venus sign is the time you’re most likely to indulge in self care and purchases for yourself (Sag season started and all of a sudden I was like I need makeup now, even though I hardly wear it in the winter lol)
-The season of your mars is the time you’re most like to take major actions (starting a business, going on solo adventures, etc)
-The season of your sun is when you’re most likely going to receive the most public recognition (also when the sun is transiting your MC/10th house)

This conjunction, exact on 5/13 can inspire us to try new ventures and goals, encouraging us to step outside of our comfort zones. It can bring sudden bursts of inspiration and insight, akin to a lightning strike illuminating the darkness. This illumination can lead to breakthroughs in areas where we've been feeling stuck or stagnant, providing clarity and direction.
However, this energy can also lead to feelings of cocksure self-righteousness, where we may become overly confident in our own beliefs and dismissive of others. It's important to temper this energy with humility and openness to differing perspectives.
Aries Rising (Taurus in the 2nd House): This conjunction can shake up your sense of self-worth and values, urging you to reassess what truly matters to you. It may prompt you to break free from limiting beliefs about your worth and explore new ways to create stability in your life.
Taurus Rising (Taurus in the 1st House): This alignment directly impacts your identity and self-expression. You may feel a strong urge to break free from old patterns and embrace a more authentic version of yourself. It's a time for personal revolution and liberation.
Gemini Rising (Taurus in the 12th House): This conjunction can bring unexpected insights from your subconscious mind, leading to a deeper understanding of your true self. You may feel a strong urge to explore your spirituality or delve into your dreams and intuition for guidance.

Virgo Rising (Taurus in the 9th House): This alignment can bring unexpected opportunities for growth and expansion, urging you to break free from limiting beliefs and explore new horizons. You may feel a strong urge to travel or pursue higher education to broaden your perspective.
Libra Rising (Taurus in the 8th House): This conjunction can shake up your intimate relationships and shared resources, urging you to break free from old patterns of control or manipulation. You may feel a strong urge to transform your approach to intimacy and embrace a more authentic connection with others.
Scorpio Rising (Taurus in the 7th House): This alignment can impact your partnerships and relationships, urging you to break free from codependent patterns and embrace a more independent stance. You may feel a strong urge to redefine your relationships on equal terms.
Sagittarius Rising (Taurus in the 6th House): This conjunction can shake up your daily routines and health habits, urging you to break free from unhealthy patterns and embrace a more holistic approach to well-being. You may feel a strong urge to prioritize self-care and make positive changes to your lifestyle.
Capricorn Rising (Taurus in the 5th House): This alignment can impact your creativity and self-expression, urging you to break free from self-imposed limitations and embrace a more playful approach to life. You may feel a strong urge to pursue creative projects or hobbies that bring you joy.
Aquarius Rising (Taurus in the 4th House): This conjunction can shake up your home and family life, urging you to break free from old patterns of behavior and create a more nurturing environment for yourself. You may feel a strong urge to redefine what home means to you and prioritize your emotional well-being.
Pisces Rising (Taurus in the 3rd House): This alignment can impact your communication and mental outlook, urging you to break free from negative thought patterns and embrace a more positive mindset. You may feel a strong urge to express your ideas and opinions more freely and confidently.

[☉□♃] watch your mouth.
The Sun is squaring Jupiter until February 5, so if you have any social media following, no matter how small, be careful with your words.
Being too harsh, insensitive or not thinking your words through will get you in hot water and affect you harshly.

Soul development + Predictive astrology:
NN rules the themes and direction of your soul’s development and growth. When using predicative astrology to see where you are currently developing- it’s best to track how your natal NN aspects via transit, everyone will experience these aspects at least once in their lifetime; how we respond, and develop during these transits will directly manifest our future lives.
Once a year
Transit Sun conjunct Natal NN: this transit happens approximately once a year, and lasts about one month. Energetic effects of this aspect can prove to be a time where things happen which feel karmic or out of our control. When transit Sun exemplifies the energy of your natal NN, this pushes forth the messages from the subconscious about what exactly needs to change in order to reach inner fulfillment. This much conscious, internalized self awareness can cause transformations to be pushed into your daily life in order to align you with opportunities to learn the lessons meant for you to face at that time.
Before the first Saturn return this can prove to be times of pivotal personality shifts, and building blocks to emotional development, and style of communication. This is also a time where one can feel consequences of isolation if they actively choose to be avoidant of the required behavioral changes necessary to further healthy development.
After your first Saturn return- this will become a period in the year where you may feel universal tests to prove your alignment with the higher self, or even times where you are on the receiving end of gifts, surprises, or karmic situations involving new tests of growth. Annually this will be a checkpoint time frame- checking in that you’ve maintained growth and changes made during first Saturn return, while also open to opportunities for further soul development.
As you approach your second Saturn return this will become a heightened period of possible success and fulfillment- this will display as a major shift in one’s desired to “finish what they started,” or play catch up on any lost desires, dreams, or lost goals; this is why many people will decide to buy into luxury, leave toxic relationships, move locations, change careers, or anything that would otherwise be known as “out of character” for their typical behavior, and choice’s.
Once aligned with the path of the NN and balanced properly- this will become a period of blessings, joy, and fulfillment; although it’s a sad reality that many people struggle with matters of the NN because these matters have been constantly pushed upon the placement holder over their lifetime, when their comfort zone naturally aligns more with the traits, and methods help in the opposing sign.
This is why balance is the most desired skill to hone in order to achieve the humbled, self awareness required to see through the correct perspective that would align you with the easiest route to learn what your soul is meant to develop.
Transit Moon conjunct natal NN: this happens approximately once a month for 3 days- this can be accounted for times in the month you may notice old wounded emotions or situations resurfacing; insecurities, old trauma being triggered through daily encounters, weird dreams, feeling more tired then usual, or dealing with turbulent emotional situations, or circumstances.
As you find the correct balance of your needs, and present circumstances then continually put work towards goals found within the midpoint; this transit will feel more comfortable, and introspective instead of invasive.
Transit Mercury conjunct natal NN: this happens approximately once a year in all 12 signs, (not accounting for Mercury Retrogrades that happen typically 3-4 times a year/ in different signs/ dependent on the year); once it lands into a sign, it will stay in transit for about 2-3 weeks. When Mercury is conjunct natal NN in transit this can result in communication mishaps, issues, or trials; core memories made towards building one’s connection with communication style; balancing between internal thoughts, and vocalized expression.
Those who have a comfortable form of creative expression, or art can facilitate the focal spike during this transition to create legendary pieces, break into an industry, or align their focus back onto their craft in order to feel the muse effect of this aspect. If this transit ever happens to cross harmonious aspects to Moon, Venus, Jupiter, or Neptune this will heighten its emotive effects while pushing the aspect holder to embrace growth.
If Mercury conjunct NN happens with a harmonious aspect to Pluto- transformation will be embraced by the aspect holder, even if they were resistant when the transit began; if there is a hard aspect to Pluto during this transit that may prove to display as personalized avoidance, or resistance to change necessary for further soul development, and growth.
It’s important to note that these aspects all predict the natural energy present in our energetic field, and how that may cause your natural frequency to be affected. This is NOT something that is meant to make the decision of an outcome for you, instead it’s about instructing you on what to expect so you know how to properly perceive these changes and get ahead of any possible mishaps. Just because something is hard doesn’t mean it’s not possible, in fact, it’s the things you work hard to achieve and maintain that you will never lose. A secret to the universe is the knowing that what you put your energy into will continue to expand.
Transit Venus conjunct NN: this happens approximately every 1-1.5 years depending on retrogrades every other year. When natal NN is critical to transit Venus- this is a window of time allotted for that person to reevaluate, readdress, and redesign your values, priorities, relationship, and role within your family dynamic to fit the needs of your higher self.
If the person being affected by the transit is stuck in self loathing, pity, martyrdom, reckless behavior; or outdated relationships and priorities this can display in chaotic, highly volatile situations that can cause adverse emotional effects, causing the person to feel set back or excluded from their surroundings.
More on Venus Return’s:
Once you reach your first Venus return after birth, (approximately 8 years after birth), the unique characteristics of the one’s creative endeavors, personality, interests, and perspective on life develop further and are easily distinguished as attributes of an individual.
This is a time when children will find interests, and hobbies that are unlike the direct influence of parents; while marking the beginning of that individuals values, passions, love style, and the first trial with the relationship with self.
Until the first Venus return after one’s first Saturn Return, the personal definitions of love, values, family values, passions continues to develop through the process of trial and error. This can seem turbulent, or unstable; however, it’s just a part of growing up.
In astrology it’s explained that many children are more connected to their south node during childhood, only to connect with their NN as they age; which is almost like the universal grand designs way of allotting time for the joy of exploring the world and yourself during childhood.
Once in a lifetime, or more!
Transit Mars conjunct NN: (takes approximately 2 years to cycle 12 signs)[1-2 months per sign]
-This is a time when energy level, and ambitions increase which causes opportunities for alignment to fall directly into the persons lap. This can display as increased motivation, making big changes or shifts to realign with higher purpose, and normally an increase in wealth, and success. This can also be a time of increased efforts into physical appearance, or transformations; however if the person can manage these changes after the transit ends will determine true growth.
Transit Jupiter conjunct NN: (takes approximately 12 years to cycle)[1 year per sign]
⁃ this is a period of time that will allow your talents to shine while also showing the aspect holder exactly what stands in their way of success. This is a fruitful, and abundant time, yet can be viewed as emotionally and financially turbulent when viewed in hindsight.
⁃ What is shown now is what strengths you have that others desire; at the same time that you are shown the worst in human connection in order to grow thicker skin so they will be able to thrive in any environment going forward.
⁃ The most important lesson to take from this transit is to connect with the areas, and skills that make you special, while understanding your baseline priority of protecting your space, and energy from those who only want to leech from you.
Transit Saturn conjunct NN: (take’s approximately 30 years to cycle)[2.5 per sign]
Transit Chiron conjunct NN: (50 years approximately to cycle) [1.5-8 years] <— retrogrades can account for extreme differences in Chiron cycles.
Only some will have these/advanced development
Transit Uranus conjunct NN: (takes approximately 84 years to cycle)[7 years per sign]
Transit Neptune conjunct NN: (approximately 165 years to cycle)[14 years per sign]
Transit Pluto conjunct NN: (approximately 248 years to cycle) [14-30 years/per sign]
More on this to come! To be continued…

Transiting Sun enters Libra
Sunday, September 22 - Tuesday, October 22, 2024
Libra the Scales*:
• Air (social and mental - communicative, objective, abstract, changeable)
• Yang (levity - outgoing, expressive, logical, left-brained)
• Cardinal (initiating action - generating, active, direct, over-committed)
• Interpersonal (social - focused on others
• "I relate"
• Ruler - Venus (traditional), the Centaurs such as Chiron (Ms M); exalted - Saturn
• Color: vibrant golden yellow, like aspen trees in autumn
(*Gleaned almost completely from the book Astrology for Yourself by Bloch and George; the rulerships and color are my own theory/belief.)
***===+++===***
The first thing to know is that the Sun, traditionally, is in its Fall in Libra - our individuality has difficulties dealing with Libra’s emphasis on “others.”
The second thing to know is that most of the aspects the Sun will make, are of the “difficult” variety. From niggling annoyances to serious conflicts - there’s something for everybody.
The list of aspects was so long and so full of irritation and distress, I didn’t have the heart to include it.
So, what do we do? We need to avoid the Libra trick of giving our power away to others, for one thing. Going along to get along won’t cut it. The South Node is in Libra, meaning there are some Libra traits that no longer serve us well - traits that we’ve outgrown, basically.
Being manipulative and passive aggressive - also not a good idea. Other people don’t like it! We can use the Libran other-orientation to get to know people better.
It’s also important to stand up for ourselves and be honest, without trying to pick fights/battles. We have to find balance (Libra!) between loving ourselves and loving others - stick to that middle ground.
Some of us may become aware of other people’s true feelings about us, about life, about politics - and will be shocked. If we’ve been making a lot of assumptions about other people, we’re in trouble.
Find every opportunity for rest and recreation - we can lose ourselves in our artistic endeavors, for example - however we burn off stress, in a healthy way, do that!
Scorpio season looks a bit easier. We’ll get some great insights into why we are going through such unpleasant times.

chiron in aries transit (2019-2026)
have you noticed the aries suns in your life having a rough time right now? that's probably because of chiron transiting their sun right now. long held insecurities stemming from parental rejection come to light during chiron/sun transits. aries suns are reconciling with the parts of their identity that make them feel small and insecure. from their perspective, the world has not been kind to them, but this is all their ego talking. aries suns are being called to reclaim something about their identity that they feel shameful of.
for aries moons, the chiron in aries transit will bring up strong emotions surrounding the mother/mother figure(s) as well as your home. changes or uncertainty about moving and where you want to live can come up during this time.
for libra moon, chiron will be opposite your moon which can cause tension between you and your mother/mother figure(s). this can be an emotionally frustrating time especially if you are not in a comfortable living situation.
cancer moons are having a particularly rough time with chiron squaring their moon. sad emotions may come up around your mother and your relationship with her.

♎️ Happy Libra Season ♎️
Today, on September 23, 2024, we’ve just entered Libra season with the Sun at 01° Libra.
See the READ MORE for the significant planetary positions in this ♎️Libra♎️ season. We have quite a lot of important ones. 🪐✨️
-Venus has just entered ♏️Scorpio♏️at 00°43', bringing intense and passionate energy in relationships.
- Mercury is in late ♍️Virgo♍️ at 25°, still supporting detailed thinking and communication.
- The Moon is in ♊️Gemini♊️ at 17°, bringing a communicative and curious emotional vibe.
- Mars is in ♋️Cancer♋️, reflecting emotional intensity in actions, while Jupiter also in ♊️Gemini♊️ emphasizes learning and expansion through communication.
- Several planets, including Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are 🌀retrograde🌀, which often signals a period of review and reflection on their respective energies.
1. 🌀Saturn Retrograde🌀: This period signals a time for re-evaluating responsibilities and boundaries. Saturn retrograde often brings up unresolved karma, making us confront the consequences of past actions and how we manage discipline.
2. 🌀Uranus Retrograde🌀: Uranus retrograde encourages internal change and introspection, especially regarding personal freedom and innovation. It can bring unexpected shifts that lead to breakthroughs, but this energy is more about internal reflection than outward rebellion.
3. 🌀Neptune Retrograde🌀: When Neptune is retrograde, illusions and fantasies become clearer, prompting deeper introspection. It can strip away escapism, pushing us to face reality and refine our spiritual and intuitive awareness.
4. 🌀Pluto Retrograde🌀: Pluto retrograde is about internal transformation, often resurfacing hidden truths and shadow work. It’s a time for deep personal change, shedding old habits, and understanding power dynamics within relationships and within oneself.
As this ♎️Libra♎️ season begins, we are invited to find harmony in our relationships and decisions. With so many planets in 🌀retrograde🌀, this is a powerful time to slow down, reflect on where we’ve been, and recalibrate for the future. Use the 🪐cosmic energy🪐 to dive deeper into self-awareness and transform any unresolved patterns, making room for new growth.🌱

What Mercury in Virgo Means for YOU
What: Mercury in Virgo
When: July 25 - Aug. 14, then Sept. 9 - Sept. 26, 2024
Who’s Impacted: EVERYONE, but esp. Mutable Signs (Virgo, Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius), and Earth Signs (Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo) Sun / Rising.
Takeaway: A two-for-one opportunity to get clear and get your sh*t together.
It’s audit time! On July 25, mind planet Mercury glides into analytical Virgo, urging YOU to dive into the details of your daily grind and fact-check your own thoughts. That’s not to say that Mercury in Virgo will see you gaslighting yourself; no, this transit is just obsessed with fine-tuning your ideas and plans, clarifying your writing, and organizing your daily activities. At least, that’s the best way you can work with the transit.
Mercury is the planet of communication, intellect, and reasoning, so its movements through the zodiac can bring noticeable shifts in mental energy and cognitive patterns. These subtle shifts can significantly help or hinder the way you think, communicate, and process information—should you let it. And tbh, you should absolutely let Mercury in Virgo help you out.
Mercury in Virgo Meaning in Astrology
Since Mercury rules Virgo—which means the planet not only loves being in the sign, but it also functions at its highest level— communication thrives during this time, as does clarity, logic, practicality, organization, criticism, categorization, assimilation, annnd efficiency.
You can think of this transit as having the ultimate editor at your disposal. Getting into the nitty-gritty details with precision and accuracy is 10 times easier. So, this time is optimal time for:
Line-editing your writing (be it novel, memoir, social media post, email, etc.);
Clarifying your conversations;
Streamlining your daily to-dos, and wishing you had more time in the day to tackle everything on your to-do list;
Organizing your thoughts, plans and ideas;
Developing a keen interest in the economy of language (i.e.: using abbreviations and/or bullet points in your communications.)
Getting critical about what is / isn’t working in your life, your writing, your communications.
With Mercury in Virgo, communication is clear and methodical, but there is a risk of overthinking and perfectionism. Categorizing and correcting information is the name of the game, but can quickly become an obsession. Mercury in Virgo is critical to a fault, sometimes hyper-focusing on the tiniest of details. Seeing the forest from the trees is a challenge. And then there’s Mercury Retrograde.
2024 Mercury Retrograde in Virgo
Come Aug. 4, Mercury stations retrograde in Virgo, backtracking through the sign until Aug. 14, and eventually re-entering Virgo on Sept. 9. (From there, it stays in Virgo until Sept. 26.) Mercury is currently in its pre-retrograde shadow phase, so you may have already begun seeing some of the mishaps that will dominate the month of August. (That Crowdstrike Outage? Classic Mercury Retrograde.) In Virgo, these mishaps lean towards the persnickety.
Virgo has a lot of great traits—logical, analytical, practical, methodical—but sometimes the sign’s love of precision can slide into perfectionism territory. During 2024 Mercury Retrograde in Virgo, it’s easy to get caught up in the tiniest details, and let them wreak havoc on your nervous system. Learning to adapt and go with the flow of these imperfect mishaps will help you navigate the chaos that occasionally swoops in, and not feel overwhelmed by it. (I’ll have your Mercury Retrograde in horoscopes in the coming weeks!

November 2023 Important Dates
AKA my notes on The Astrology Podcast's November Forecast, hosted by Chris Brennan and Austin Coppock. Recap of last month is extensive and has been moved to the end of the post.
We're going into this month right off the back of a lunar eclipse, which astrologically sets the tone for November.
October 28th Lunar eclipse:
The Moon at 05Taurus opposes Jupiter at 05Scorpio, while Mercury (10♏) is conjunct Mars (11♏), opposing Jupiter (11♉). This is the last of a series of eclipses on the Taurus/Scorpio axis over the past 2 years. Thus this signals the culmination of a series of events and end of a chapter in people's lives. Austin describes it as an epilogue--one last thing that modifies what came after it--as the nodes have already moved on to Aries/Libra. Chris brings up how Taurus lunar eclipses have coincided with high-profile cryptocurrency crashes (Lunacoin in 2021, FTX last year), and Austin points out the FTX CEO's upcoming trial and sentencing. Taurus signifies both currency and food; the spike in cost of basic necessities worldwide is part of this story. Eclipses are the end of one era and the beginning of another: "the king is dead, long live the new king!" This has played out literally with UK monarchs in the 20th century. The Scorpio-Taurus eclipses have also occurred with increased labor actions. We'd like to think Jupiter's presence on this eclipse is an ameliorating factor, but the December 2019 eclipse "ruined" Jupiter's chances of helping us (Austin's words), so don't count on it.
Mars opposite Jupiter is tension between war and peace, both in our personal lives and world events generally. Even when these planets work together, Jupiter enables Mars's combativeness. Formicus writes in that in martial pursuits, Mars aspecting Jupiter indicates full legal and social support for aggression.
November 4th - Saturn stations Direct in Pisces This will intensify Saturn's significations in Pisces. Saturn entered Pisces earlier this year with nautical disasters, and with Mars in a water sign as well Austin advises us to keep our eyes on the seas. Saturn in Pisces also connotes poisons in the water and sources of water drying up. If there is water, it's not of the right type or amount for sustaining life. In nativities, this station signals the final Saturn return for those born under Saturn in late degrees of Aquarius (Chris suggests an orb of 3°).
Just before Saturn stations, Venus opposes Neptune on the 3rd; soon after Mercury opposes Uranus, with Venus trining Pluto on the 6th. Venus may want to bring us peace, but Neptune's tendency to dissolve boundaries bodes ill for human beings. Mercury-Uranus keywords include disrupted communication and jarring messages. This all happens after Jupiter in Taurus opposes the Sun in Scorpio on the 2nd, shining a light on a lack of basic necessities.
November 8th - Venus enters Libra The Moon enters Libra soon after Venus, activating the ingress and bringing us a good day in the bad week. Domicile Venus will have the strength to help balance us. After Mars's trampled through the Scales, she can help us balance and cool off, especially with the South Node copresent. She sextiles Mercury around the 15th as well, easing communication and bringing harmony to previously polarized talks.
November 10th - Mercury enters Sagittarius Though he initially confronts Saturn, Mercury approaches a sextile to Venus, definitively ending his copresence with Mars. Though Mercury is in detriment, he's optimistic, especially in the first decan of Sagittarius, which he rules. Mercury runs into a barrier wall with Saturn, his optimism immediately quashed, but after changing direction is able to bring some small victories. While the greater structure must be endured, we can do a few things to make the situation better.
November 11th - Mars opposite Uranus The Sun opposes Uranus around the same time, with the Moon following soon after.
November 13th - New Moon in Scorpio
Usually we expect relief with the first New Moon after an eclipse, but with a Sun-Moon-Mars conjunction opposite Uranus, things are gonna be intense. Mars-Uranus is an especially explosive contact, and an opposition is the most tense aspect. Calls for freedom are intense and combative. However, once the faster planets pass this Uranus opposition, we'll have seen the last unexpected stick of dynamite. The upcoming Mars-Sun conjunction is far from calm, but it is expected.
November 18th - Sun conjunct Mars in Scorpio (cazimi) This happens opposite Uranus, trine Neptune, and sextile Pluto. As with other planets, this is a renewal of Mars's 2-year cycle, resetting the paradigm for Mars matters. Mars has his domicile in Scorpio, bringing intense tenacity, even if we may not want it. Distressingly, Chris has found this aspect to historically coincide with shootings and bombings. Austin has identified engineering developments, water-based natural disasters, and setting a new direction/paradigm in ongoing conflicts (though not new wars starting).
Mars cazimis in Scorpio don't happen that often; this is the first one in 32 years (the preceding was 32 years before the most recent, and the next one out was ~60 years before its successor). Hot-headedness, special forces (especially in Scorpio), and ambition or daring are some keywords. To quote a song by Sun-Mars conjunction native Nelly, "it's getting hot in here, so"...put on your blast-proof gear. Other Sun-Mars natives include Jonas Salk, inventor of the polio vaccine, politician Robert F. Kennedy, and controversial investigative journalist Nancy Grace. This is a very powerful reset with Mars in domicile, and in a fixed sign. It has the most staying power and determination.
November 22nd/23rd - Sun enters Sagittarius
November 23rd/24th - Mars enters Sagittarius Soon after he squares Saturn. He's also under the beams of the Sun (invisible) from the cazimi well into December, and takes longer than any other planet to emerge from beneath the rays. Thus the meanings of Mars's journey through the underworld won't be apparent all at once.
November 25th - Mars square Saturn Something that normally happens quickly hits a wall and has to slow down suddenly--this aspect aligned with COVID lockdowns and the discoveries of new variants. The theme of this month: there will be some initial attempts to speed ahead, but we'll run into insurmountable obstacles we have to accept. Mars square Saturn is still fully operative when we encounter our next lunation of the month.
November 27th - Full Moon in Gemini
Still close to the Sun, Mars (02♐) opposes the Moon (04♊), forming a T-square with Saturn (00♓). Additionally, the Moon's ruler Mercury (24♐) squares Neptune (24♓) exactly, bringing muddled communication or even outright deception. Thus Mercury, the Moon's ruler, is not much help to her. Neptune doesn't bring hostility and bad news to Mercury like Mars did, but makes it difficult to see clearly. Think of a goldfish's (purportedly) short memory. Full Moon in Gemini wants to go fast, but Mercury-Neptune confuses the direction. Overall this is a rather difficult lunation.
November 30th - Auspicious election for the month (not pictured)
Around 1-2AM local time, with the Ascendant around 6° of Libra, giving you Venus in the first house in a night chart (a very potent place for her). Note that the South Node is conjunct Venus (though Spica nearby affirms our aspirations). The Moon is domicile in Cancer in the 10th house, separating from a sextile to Jupiter (07♉) and applying to a square with Venus (24♎). This gives us two very strong rulers in the first and tenth houses, good for aesthetic situations and public image. With Saturn in the 6th house, it's not recommended for matters involving people you employ or matters of illness. This election takes advantage of our domicile benefic Venus, and is at the end of the month to give as much distance as we can from the difficult Mars & outer planet configurations.
October Recap: There were 4 major earthquakes in Afghanistan, 2 of which coincided with the Mars-Pluto square on Oct. 7th, and the next two on the 11th and 15th clustered around the solar eclipse in Libra; the WHO estimates 100,000 people need humanitarian aid.
In the US, a shop that offered Tarot readings in Pennsylvania was threatened by police, citing anti-fortune-telling laws. There are quite a few similar laws still on the books across the country that are rarely enforced...until they are. 20 years ago, metaphysical bookshops were being raided by police, with their lawyers citing freedom of speech and religion to exonerate them. As Saturn approaches Neptune in Pisces and Neptune prepares to exit the sign, we can expect a backlash against astrology. No rising tide lasts forever; what's it going to look like when this tide breaks? Austin advises viewers to be careful how they represent the craft and not to take for granted that we can talk openly about it right now. Chris urges astrology organizations to prepare for litigation and pushback from skeptics and religious crowds alike.
The Pluto, Mars, and South Node activity last month heralded difficulty or conflict, which we've seen most prominently with the warfare in Palestine and Israel. Eclipses feature heavily in this history. The timing of recent major events has aligned strongly with the Mars & Pluto movements: Mars squared Pluto exactly on the 7th-9th, Pluto stationed on the 10th, Mars entered Scorpio on the 12th, and there was a solar eclipse in Libra on the 14th. (A/N: After this episode was recorded, the second (lunar) eclipse occurred today, October 28th, with the blackout and ground invasion in Gaza). Our hosts had stayed metaphorical last month in predicting asymmetric conflicts or excessive strength with Mars-Pluto last month, and in Indian astrology Mars-Ketu (SN) conjunctions indicate one who acts as if possessed by rage, which is how even supporters have characterized Netanyahu's actions.
Going into more detail on this:
The chart of Israel's founding has 25 Libra rising, the degree Mars was transiting on the 7th when Hamas launched their surprise attack; Mars was also square the Midheaven, while Pluto was directly on the IC and thus opposing the MC, all of which was activated by the Moon's transit on Oct. 7th--the Moon triggers that which is waiting to happen. Venus was also at 28Leo, the degree at which she stationed this summer, conjunct Israel's Mars. Eclipses like the pair in October have always coincided with defining new borders for Israel, which was founded shortly after a Taurus solar eclipse (same as today's, Oct. 28th). Israeli PM Netanyahu was born under a total solar eclipse in Libra as well. If we take December 10, 1987 as the founding date for Hamas, whose military arm led the October 7th attack, it was founded under a Pluto-Mars conjunction in Scorpio and a Saturn-Uranus conjunction (orb 1°) in Sagittarius.
More generally, many nations founded soon after WWII with Saturn in Leo (malefic in a sign of ruling or sovereignty) have had major disputes over where the border lines have been drawn. 2025 brings a Uranus return for both Israel and the US, close allies.
Chris was also looking at the astrology of different peace attempts, and found that while the Oslo accords were discussed under Saturn in Aquarius, the Peace Prize for it was given out during Saturn in Pisces, (where Saturn is now) with rx Venus conjunct Jupiter & the North Node (a nodal opposition to Israel's founding chart). However, Rabin (Israel's PM who signed the accords) was assassinated during an eclipse the following year. Eclipses occur in the same sign every 19 years, and in 2004 Israel began invading and settling northern Gaza. With the advent of smartphones and Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions moving from earth to air signs (200-year cycle), there may be some small hope that the fighting won't be as prolonged and ugly as it has been in the past. Unfortunately, November's astrology does not bode well for peace.
More on the Moon triggering configurations into action: aside from Oct. 7th, when her opposition to Pluto/square to Mars triggered that configuration with the initial Hamas attack, during the hospital bombing on the 28th she squared Saturn from 28Scorpio. More positively, on the 20th Hamas released two hostages when the Moon (♑) approached a grand trine with Venus (11-12♍) and Jupiter (12♉), and Israel let in 20 aid trucks on the 21st when this aspect went exact. Positive aspects in the midst of difficult configurations indicate a glimmer of hope.

new moon solar eclipse at 10 libra
on lilith and mercury, square ceres.
this is a busy new moon. you'll often hear people say not to try to manifest in an eclipse. i usually disagree with this attitude as long as you are willing for things to come about through routes you may not have expected. however in this case, it is so busy and volatile that a great deal of flexibility is going to be required. on the one hand, you are manifesting every moment of every day whether you intend to or not. on the other hand, plans laid around this time are very unlikely to come about. my best advice is to know what you want, not get too attached to it, and leave the details all to the universe. you can get a little more serious about it at some other new moon.

June 24, 2024
North Node conjunct my Juno today.
Was hoping I’d have a magical meet-cute with a cutie patootie but no—I’m just angry LOL
I have Juno Rx in Aries opposite my Libra Sun. Today’s theme has been “what’s in it for me?!”
I’m the kind of Libra who is too accommodating and today I’ve just been boiling with all of the ridiculous expectations I have in all of my relationships.
I do too much and don’t get enough in return. I work so hard and I’m still not happy. I work too fuckin’ hard to still be struggling like this.
I have so much resentment and anger for all the times I got a shitty deal and didn’t demand better. Been working on the people pleasing so this feels like another natural progression towards unlearning it
But yeah I’m still heated. Even strangers on the street act entitled to my time, money, and attention. I’m not your mom and this is not a charity. NO.
