How to study LESS but BETTER
  DISCLAIMER: Obviously, we are not the same ,especially when it comes to studying and absorbing info. Each one of you can try whichever hack/study technique you want and just because it didn’t work on you ,that doesn’t mean that it won’t be helpful for others :)

🍒.Studygroups.Personally,i like studying alone so studying with other people isn't helpful to me . However, if you think you could do better with a study-group ,then find a couple of good friends (who are interested in studying AS WELL) and GET THINGS DONE
🍒.Take notes by hand ,it’s an effective way to crave everything into your memory, faster and easily
🍒.Show up in class/lectures ,everything will make a lot more sense. Trust me :)
🍒.Do a little everyday ,but don’t let it be your WHOLE day (e.g Today i’m gonna study the first 2 chapters for my history test ,then i’ll do my science project and then i’ll watch the next episode of Miraculous Ladybug and go to the gym) ;)
🍒.BULLET POINTS AND DIAGRAMS!
🍒.Be a SMART READER , not a ROBOT
🍒. In Uni, choose classes that interest you because this way studying will become more enjoyable and won’t feel like a dull chore.

Power naps for studying
10 to 20 minutes of nap is recomended to boost your energy and get you going. I know it’s quite hard for most of us. Either we nap for a long time at one shot (which is not recommended at all) or we can’t fall asleep quickly. 
I have a few tips that worked for me. 
You don’t have to nap everyday or anything like that. Take a nap when you’re actually tired. That way you’ll fall asleep easier.
Keep an alarm or timer and do not snooze.
If its about 10 minutes, you will not have fallen into a deep sleep and waking up from it will not be as difficult as opposed to continious 2 hours of sleep (because we usually fall into deeper sleep in that amount of time).
Also its recomended not to take naps when you’re bed time is nearing. We tend to sleep for long during that time. (Afternoon naps are recommended)
But try it out and find out what suits you best.

What is The Pomodoro Technique?
The Pomodoro Technique has been developed by Francesco Cirillo. When he was a student, he was trying to figure out the the best way to study. He discovered a way to study more efficient and productive in less time.
How Does It Work?
Your day consists of ‘pomodoro’s’ of 25 minutes. In that time you will focus on one task. You will set a timer for 25 minutes. When the session is done, you’ll have a break of 5-10 minutes. 
According to Cirillo this technique improves your focus, lets you get more work done in a day and makes you deliver higher quality work!
My Own Experience with The Pomodoro Technique
When studying for long hours at the Library or University. I noticed that by the middle of the afternoon I’m often tired and have no focus left. So I was excited to try out this Technique. I used the  app Forest to give this Technique a try.
The effectivity of this technique is really great! Taking frequent breaks and having the timer set gave me the little push I needed when I got distracted in the middle of a session.
‘It is only 25 minutes, I can do that’ is the mindset I found myself in.
This Tecnhique is also powerful if you are having trouble with actually starting with studying. It is a clear and easy to understand method. You do not need to be a good student in order to apply the Technique. Everyone can do this!
The frequent breaks make sure you stay focused on the task you are working on during the sessions.

I highly recommend the app Forest:stay focused to use as a timer for your studie sessions, or ‘pomodoro’s’. This is a free app. When you start a study session, the app prevents you from checking your notifications. You cannot open another app until the time is done.
Did you successfully complete a session? Then a tree will be added to your forest! When you cheat and open another app while the session is still going on, your tree will die..
Use a form
I have created a form you can use for the Pomodoro Technique. On the form I created I can track how long I am working on one task, what tasks I am working on and whether I have completed it or not. You can check out The Time Management Form here :)
