The Alpilean (2023) Best Weight Loss Supplement Human Body
Tumblr media
Alpilean is a potent weight loss assistance product built on the alpine ice hack formula, which ignites the body's natural fat-burning processes all day long. Just be aware that if you have any health issues or are sensitive to side effects, it is typically not a good idea to purchase weight reduction pills before seeing a physician or other qualified healthcare expert. While the safety and effectiveness of Alpilean and many other high-end weight-loss products are not governed by the FDA in the same way that medications are, the Alpine weight-loss pills are produced in the USA under stringent and sterile cGMP standards in a facility that has received FDA approval.
A genuine "buyer beware" cautionary warning is also necessary, as many weight-loss supplements contain ingredients that have not been scientifically proven to be safe or effective for weight loss. In addition, a flood of phoney alpine ice hack diet pills have been released onto the market by dubious resellers and middlemen vendors who lack access to the genuine Alpilean supplement. This Alpilean review update notice will reveal all stunning customer controversies and enable each consumer to determine whether signing up as an Alpilean client right now is the wisest course of action.
There are many weight reduction supplement solutions on the market, but Alpilean pills have been at the top of the list ever since they were introduced on the official website in October 2022. How can one tell which internet Alpilean reviews are real when there are so many to select from? Many people struggle to lose weight despite their best attempts at eating and exercise, so they turn to additional help in the form of supplements. In addition, this research is based on an observation of more than 170 years of scientific data, which has shown that low internal body temperature has been identified as a common feature in overweight vs.
normal weight individuals. Recent studies have also shown that one shared characteristic exists between overweight men and women and normal weight individuals. Alpilean is a nutritional supplement that targets the body's internal organ temperatures in an effort to combat weight gain, however there is a recent customer dispute that requires disclosure of unfavour able feedback and a harmful side effects warning. The Alpilean reviews that are given below represent the most recent updates to the overview that covers the health claims and verifies the information about the product and its creators that is provided on the official website.
Check official website - alpilean
Alpilean: What is it?
Alpilean was introduced in late October of this year, and its makers promote it as a breakthrough weight-loss pill that is unlike any other on the market right now. This weight reduction supplement uses an odd ice hack to target and optimise low interior body temperatures. It is based on a special blend of six strong Alpine minerals and plants. The metabolism of the body may be stimulated with alpilean. Researchers discovered that a healthy metabolism helps the body burn fat effectively and increases its internal core temperatures and energy levels.
called alpinean is designed to lower internal body temperature and prevent weight gain. With the help of alpinean, which increases and regulates internal body temperature, more calories are burned quickly and effectively. This weight loss solution has an average rating of 4.92 stars out of 5 for its effectiveness in promoting weight loss as well as its safety and ease of use.
The dietary supplement alpilean, which is available in pill form, helps to raise and maintain the body's internal temperature within the range that has been clinically approved. The fact that all of Alpilean's components support thermogenesis—and are covered in more detail in the section below that—could be a game-changer when compared to other weight-loss supplements.
How Alpilean Functions
Slow metabolism has been linked to weight gain, however it is now believed that this is due to low body temperature. Science explains that internal body temperature is determined by the temperature of the cells and internal organs rather than by how hot or cold the skin feels. Other physiological processes slow down as a result of a sluggish metabolism. As a result, a number of symptoms are produced, including tiredness, weight gain, shallow breathing, memory loss, confusion, and poor energy levels in the body.
According to body science, the optimal body temperature is 37 degrees Celsius, or 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. According to reports, the body operates properly at this temperature. It is important to maintain this body temperature since a dip of even one degree might result in a minimum 13 percent slowdown in metabolism.
According to recent study, a sluggish metabolism is to blame for weight gain and the obesity that results from it. Because of this, experts suggest that increasing the body's metabolic rate is an efficient strategy to combat the problem of weight gain.
For digestive enzymes to work, the body's internal temperature must be at a certain level. When the body's internal temperature is kept at 37 degrees Celsius, these digestive enzymes function well. The conversion of our food into nutrients that can be absorbed is at its best at this temperature. The functioning of digestive enzymes must be maintained; otherwise, it gets more challenging to break down proteins, lipids, and carbs. Fats are broken down by the lipase enzyme into the two smaller molecules glycerol and fatty acids. The body can utilise the nutrients that are properly converted from the food we eat, which helps with weight loss.
The core body temperature is consistently low in obese people. The enzymes won't work as well as they should when body temperature goes below the optimal range, which results in less food being broken down and less nourishment being absorbed, both of which can result in weight gain. To enhance weight loss, alpilean may be the perfect treatment to boost core body temperature.
Components of Alpilean
Fucoxanthin-containing golden algae
A typical xanthophyll carotenoid called fucoxanthin is present in macroalgae like brown seaweed and golden algae. Fucoxanthin has certain chemical properties that give it its biological effects. Fucoxanthin may be esterified or hydrolyzed to fucoxanthin in the human body during digestion. It could then undergo further transformation into amarouciaxanthin A in the liver. Fucoxanthin is a powerful antioxidant due to its capacity to scavenge free radicals and single-molecule oxygen.
Numerous specialists' investigations have shown that fucoxanthin can target internal body temperature to improve weight loss outcomes. Additionally, it could provide health benefits for reducing chronic illnesses including obesity, diabetes, and fatty liver disease. Additionally, the substance has outstanding anti-inflammatory qualities from which many people might gain.
Western Africa is home to the African Mango Seed (Irvingia gabonensis), sometimes referred to as the Dika Nut. This item is also known as bush mango and wild mango. Vitamins and minerals including salt, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and iron are abundant in dika nuts. A new claim asserts that Dika Nut extract prevents the growth of fat cells. To support this assertion, however, more study is required. African mango seeds can increase body warmth, aid with digestion and bloating, and promote normal cholesterol levels.
Dika Nut is also a fantastic source of soluble fibre, plant protein, and antioxidants. African mango seed extract is similar to coconut oil in terms of its fat content since it includes fat, the bulk of which is made up of two saturated fats in the form of lauric and myristic acids. Flavonols, tannins, and ellagic acid are among the 41 phenolic compounds that African mango seeds are said to possess. They are helpful in preventing the body's naturally occurring and disease-causing free radicals as well as supporting neuronal functioning, muscular contraction, and joint mobility.
Leaf from a drumstick tree (moringa leaf)
The Moringa oleifera plant, which is indigenous to northern India, may grow in tropical and subtropical areas of Asia and Africa. The leaves, petals, seeds, and roots of this plant have long been used in herbal treatments. The moringa plant contains several essential vitamins and minerals. Rumour has it that the leaves of the drumstick tree are higher in vitamin C and potassium than oranges. Iron, calcium, protein, and amino acids are also included in moringa, all of which promote muscle development and recovery.
Antioxidants, which may boost the immune system and protect cells from damage, are also rich in it. In addition to lowering blood pressure and reducing body and blood fat, antioxidants included in moringa may also aid. According to reports, moringa also reduces internal body temperature, controls diabetes and inflammation, treats bacterial, viral, and fungal infections, eases joint pain, and strengthens the heart.
Orange Bigarade (bioflavonoids from citrus)
Bigarade orange, commonly referred to as bitter orange, has lately been employed in the appetite control and weight reduction industries. The bigarade orange includes substances that increase body warmth, boost energy, decrease fat accumulation, and suppress hunger. According to reports, the Bigarade orange's fruit and peel can be used to treat digestive discomfort, nasal congestion, and chronic fatigue syndrome.
Along with regulating blood fat levels and lowering blood sugar in diabetics, bigarade orange oil may also cure gastrointestinal disorders such intestinal ulcers, constipation, diarrhoea, blood in the stools, and intestinal gas.
(Ginger Root) Ginger Rhizome
Ginger is a tropical flowering plant that is native to Southeast Asia and is a member of the Zingiberaceae family. Turmeric and ginger are linked, and ginger's health advantages have been thoroughly researched. Ginger rhizomes have a number of beneficial effects on the body, including the ability to enhance circulation, reduce joint discomfort, and reduce inflammation.
Ginger can be turned into liquid or powder form. It may be consumed fresh or dried and stored as a spice. It is said that ginger contains 2% of the essential oil, which has several applications.
It has been suggested that ginger contains up to 400 different chemicals. Due to the gingerol molecules present in this root crop, ginger is also thought to have medical benefits. It is thought that ginger's high anti-inflammatory and antioxidant capabilities may be advantageous to the body.
(Turmeric Root) Turmeric Rhizome
Turmeric is a brilliant yellow spice that is indigenous to the Indian subcontinent. Ancient medicine has traditionally used turmeric to heal wounds, infections, colds, and liver conditions.
According to research, turmeric includes curcumin, a substance that has been found in animal experiments to have potential for promoting weight reduction, reducing the formation of adipose tissue, preventing weight gain, and reducing inflammation. Turmeric is widely used by those with osteoarthritis. According to research, turmeric may be used to treat illnesses including hay fever, anxiety, excessive cholesterol, and some types of liver disease.
Chromium
It has been demonstrated that chromium aids in weight reduction, controls blood sugar levels, and reduces spikes and crashes that lead to cravings for unhealthy foods. Due to its effect on insulin sensitivity, chromium helps the body burn more calories without having to exercise. Additionally, it could increase fullness.
B12 vitamin
A water-soluble vitamin important for human health is vitamin B12. An vital vitamin, vitamin B12 can aid in protein synthesis, blood sugar control, energy levels, and weight reduction. Additionally, it promotes improved digestion of other nutrients and lessens inflammation.
Advantages of Alpilean
The maker of Alpilean promotes their product with the following advantages and benefits, in addition to the claim that it would help people lose weight. These consist of:
Natural Formula: Only substances taken from natural sources were used in the creation of the nutritional supplement Alpilean. The maker of this nutritional supplement asserts that there are no synthetic chemicals in its recipe, which might have unfavourable side effects, making it a safe weight-loss option.
Plant-based elements: The Alpilean formula's creator guarantees customers that it exclusively contains elements from plants. This indicates that everyone, even vegans, may safely use the dietary supplement.
Non-GMO: The process used to grow these foods in nature is an important consideration when buying ingredients. The Alpilean product's maker guarantees that its components were obtained naturally, are non-GMO, soy-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian-friendly. They are also checked by a third party to ensure high purity and efficacy.
Easy To Swallow: Making a food supplement is insufficient. Many people have trouble swallowing various vitamins, especially if they are in the form of powder. Alpilean has been created as a supplement in the form of capsules, which are very simple for consumers to ingest.
No Stimulants: Many of the weight reduction pills available on the market contain substances that may be classified as stimulants. For instance, the effectiveness of many weight-loss pills is based on the use of substances like coffee. The formula for Alpilean, however, only contains non-stimulants.
Tumblr media
Non-Habit Forming: None of Alpilean's components make consumers dependent on the product, making it a potentially risk-free option for weight loss. Reviews have also not revealed any evidence of supplement addiction.

What is the ice hack for weight loss?
Tumblr media
The so-called "weight loss hack" of consuming Alpilean ice has recently acquired popularity. However, this assertion is not backed by strong scientific evidence. Using ice as a weight loss aid has been cautioned against by several medical professionals as potentially harmful. Instead, red light therapy is a more efficient and secure option for losing weight.
Red light therapy, sometimes called low-level light therapy, employs medical-grade LEDs to penetrate the skin and activate the body's natural healing processes in a non-invasive manner. Originating with NASA studies, this treatment has been thoroughly investigated in recent years. Red light treatment has been demonstrated to help with a variety of issues, from inflammation to skin health to, yes, weight reduction.
Red light therapy was shown to dramatically lower participants' waist circumference, hip circumference, and body mass index (BMI), according to a research published in the International Journal of Endocrinology. Red light treatment in conjunction with exercise resulted in better weight reduction and lower body fat compared to exercise alone, according to another study published in the Journal of Obesity. Red light treatment has been shown to aid in weight loss in a number of trials, including those included below.
Tumblr media
Red light therapy is another alternative that is both harmless and non-invasive. The therapy can be used independently with the use of home gadgets that have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration. There are no intrusive procedures involved in the therapy, and it has no known major adverse effects. That's why it's such a good choice for people who want to slim down in a healthy method without risking their health.
The Alpilean ice hack may seem like a simple solution, but there is currently insufficient evidence to recommend it. However, there is ample evidence that red light therapy can help people shed unwanted pounds in a healthy way. It helps people lose weight by boosting their metabolism and energy levels, two functions that the body already does on its own.
Tumblr media
Red light treatment has been demonstrated to offer a variety of health advantages, including aiding in weight loss. It has been shown to improve skin health, decrease pain, and inflammation, and boost mental performance. That's why it's a fantastic choice for people who want to boost their health and happiness in general.
The great thing about red light therapy is that it can be done in the comfort of your own home with the help of a red light therapy belt. These belts can be worn at the waist, the thighs, or anywhere else on the body to help with weight reduction. There are high-quality medical LEDs within, and research has proven that one particular wavelength of light is optimal for weight reduction and other health advantages.
If you're trying to slim down rapidly, the Alpilean ice hack could seem like a good idea at first. However, you should assess the hazards and lack of scientific data before trying it. However, red light therapy has been shown through extensive research to be a safe and effective means of shedding extra pounds. The use of a red light therapy belt makes it possible for the treatment to be administered in the comfort of one's own home, making it an attractive alternative for those seeking to enhance their general health and well-being.

The How of Happiness- Chapter 4 summary & thoughts
Studies have shown that people who are consistently grateful are generally happier, more energetic, more hopeful, helpful, empathetic, more spiritual/religious, more forgiving, less materialistic, less likely to be depressed, anxious, lonely, envious, or neurotic. So essentially boosting your gratitude, taking inventory of everything to be thankful for in your life is an easy hack to boosting happiness.
But what does being grateful do for us? Why is it so beneficial? There's 8 reasons: 1. promoting the savoring of positive life experiences 2. improved self worth and esteem 3. helps cope w/ stress & trauma 4. moral judgment/behavior improves 5. being grateful helps nurture existing and new relationships with people 6. decrease social comparison 7. being grateful inherently prevents many negative attitudes such as anger and 8. this might be the most important, it helps prevent hedonistic adaptation. This concept is HUGE. Being mindful and maintaining gratitude lets you avoid taking amazing things and people for granted. If you just got married and get an otherwise temporary happiness boost, if you remain overwhelmingly grateful, you will actively do things to consistently bolster that happiness and engage more with your new spouse as to not forget how great they are. Thus, preventing you from just adapting to this new thing in your life, being married.
You can practice gratitude in a number of ways but it is important to remember to try and vary your strategies to keep things fresh and not feel like a chore. You can keep a gratitude journal, contemplate, or express gratitude directly to someone else.
Positive thinking and optimism is scientifically proven to increase immediate increases in positive moods and decrease physical ailments. This is shown in the "Best Possible Selves" experiment. Here you take 20-30 mins to visualize the best future version of yourself where all the hard work has payed off and everything has turned out the way you imagine it. You can also foster optimistic thinking by using a goals/subgoals diary . Another strategy is to "identify barrier thoughts", find your automatic pessimistic thoughts and then find ways to interpret them differently.
This connection between positive thinking and biological/physical ramifications shows support for the biopsychosocial model that health psychology has developed over the past couple decades. This model shows us the mediating effect prevalent in positive thinking and improved health. If we are more positive and optimistic, we are motivated to go and pursue/achieve our goals, improve our coping mechanisms, and improve our mood. These factors all reduce anxiety and chronic stress from developing which has scientific evidence to show causes in health deterioration.
The section on rumination was so enlightening for me... overthinking and meta anxiety are things i struggle with constantly. Self-focused rumination creates this negative feedback loop of thoughts where you just spiral down negative thoughts and it can stem from one mishap, the absence of proper coping mechanisms with stressors makes this issue much worse. Constantly overthinking makes you overall more self critical and pessimistic and prevents you from improving yourself. You can break the cycle by learning some coping mechanisms, and you know what helps boost attainment of coping strategies? Gratitude exercises! Plenty of strategies exist to immediately stop overthinking, distraction, the "stop!" technique, set aside 30 minutes and schedule time to overthink (when the time comes to actually think you will find it unnatural to do so), talk to a trusted person in your life, and writing out your thoughts in a diary helps too! Breaking the cycle is the most important part of stopping ruminating. From there we can act to solve the problems that cause the overthinking.

There's some interesting stuff in here, but it still has to be read as propaganda from the New Yorker. Start with the subtitle:
The behavior geneticist Kathryn Paige Harden is waging a two-front campaign: on her left are those who assume that genes are irrelevant, on her right those who insist that they’re everything.
This is obviously a strawman; I don't know of anyone serious, on the right or otherwise, who claims that genes are "everything", that is, that environment has no impact. There are many leftists, on the other hand, who do insist, as one can see in this article, that genes have no real effect on behavior. This is such a wildly absurd belief that it should prevent them from ever being taken seriously on this subject, but for some reason the likes of Harden think they should set the terms of the debate:
I don’t disagree with you about insisting on intellectual honesty, but I think of it as ‘both/and’—I think that that value is very important, but I also find it very important to listen to people when they say, ‘I’m worried about how this idea might be used to harm me or my family or my neighborhood or my group.’
(In response to Sam Harris.) The connection to Turkheimer is interesting, as he has explicitly argued here that we just shouldn't study things that make him feel uncomfortable, and that people like Murray who do study them should therefore be ostracized. Here's Turkheimer:
If I may address my fellow Jews for a moment, consider this. How would you feel about a line of research into the question of whether Jews have a genetic tendency to be more concerned with money than other groups?... Hopefully I am beginning to offend you. Why? Why don’t we accept racial stereotypes as reasonable hypotheses, okay to consider until they have been scientifically proven false? They are offensive precisely because they violate our intuition about the balance between innateness and self-determination of the moral and cultural qualities of human beings.... But we can recognize a contention that Chinese people are genetically predisposed to be better table tennis players than Africans as silly, and the contention that they are smarter than Africans as ugly, because it is a matter of ethical principle that individual and cultural accomplishment is not tied to the genes in the same way as the appearance of our hair.
So Turkheimer is a dishonest hack; as far as I'm concerned, anyone who wrote this should be disregarded as a scientist. It appears that the apprentice, Harden, has learned from the master. Here she is sounding very much like him:
There is a middle ground between ‘let’s never talk about genes and pretend cognitive ability doesn’t exist’ and ‘let’s just ask some questions that pander to a virulent on-line community populated by racists with swastikas in their Twitter bios.’
Don't ask certain questions if I claim they pander to big meanies on the internet! So Turkheimer and Harden seem to share this outlook: certain questions shouldn't be asked, and certain answers to those questions are a priori immoral. It's no wonder then that the Vox article they helped write concludes, as this article puts it:
But there was simply no good scientific reason to conclude that observed racial gaps were anything but the fallout from the effects of racism.
Which also proves that the white-Asian gaps are caused by Asians oppressing whites. This is not a serious belief, but then again, these are not serious people.

Spoonie Study Tips
As a grad student with fibromyalgia, maybe arthritis (hopefully getting that figured out soon), depression, anxiety, a non-restorative sleep disorder (probably thanks to fibro), and all kinds of other quirks that make life interesting, I’ve had to adapt my learning A LOT.  Thankfully, my only slightly traumatic Catholic school forced us to take an entire semester of Critical Thinking classes which included studying hacks!  So please, enjoy the strategies I have learned over the years.
COLORS ARE YOUR FRIEND Studying using a variety of different colors is scientifically proven (no I’m not linking an article because I’m lazy) to help you remember things!  I memorized every single book of the Bible this way
MIX UP THE ORDER The human brain likes to remember first and last things, not so much stuff in the middle so break up your study guide and shuffle sections around so you’re always studying something new first/last (not super helpful if you need to know things in a specific order)  This also ties into why taking breaks is helpful, you literally walk away from something and come back fresh (you might not feel fresh, but your brain thinks you are and that’s what really counts)
BE COMFY BUT NOT TOO COMFY I have found that studying in my bed is terrible because I fall asleep but sometimes my back starts to really hurt if I sit at my desk too long.  Solution: sitting (not laying) on the couch.  It’s okay to be comfortable but don’t put yourself in a position where you could fall asleep
SCORES Listening to music while studying is great, but I know if I listen to music with words (at least in a language I understand) I get distracted but if I listen to piano I get sleepy.  However, MOVIE SCORES, VIDEO GAME SCORES, SOUNDTRACKS, SONGS IN OBSCURE LANGUAGES YOU DON’T KNOW, they’re all here for you!  Spotify has got your back on this.  Video game and movie scores are DESIGNED to keep you interested without taking up too much of your thoughts.  There are plenty of playlists out there waiting for you with jams that are meant to sound nice but keep you going at the same time.
THE ULTIMATE STUDY SITUATION Go to the store and buy a pack of those clear page protector sheets you put in a binder.  Put your study guide in them, run yourself a nice bath with some epsom salt for the ol’ joints and maybe a bath bomb if you’re feeling wild.  Boom, your study guide will stay safe and you get to still make your bones feel less like garbage
INVEST Invest in the colorful pens, invest in a nice notebook that is easy to write in, and (if applicable) invest in bluelight filter glasses!  You can get them for under $20 on Amazon and they filter out the blue light from phones/computers that makes your eyes tired and keeps you awake.  They’re supposed to be really helpful for people who get migraines from looking at a screen too long (looking at you, Dad) and help your eyes feel less tired/dry/strained.  They also allow you to use the compute before bed without it keeping you up as late because your brain thinks blue light = wakey wakey time
EARLY EARLY EARLY Do things early.  I hated my teachers for telling me to study or work on a project early but honestly, with a chronic illness you gotta because you never know when you’re going to have a flare up/episode where you can’t work and it sucks so hard when that happens the day before a test or a project is due.  Do what you can, when you can with what you’ve got
IT’S DANGEROUS TO GO ALONE, ASK YOUR PROFESSOR Accommodations are a thing for a reason!  Ask for them!  Literally the worst thing they will say is no and you’ll just keep doing what you did before but chances are you can get at least a little help on things.  I didn’t know there was something wrong with me until I was in college and I had no idea that I could get accommodations for things until another student told me.  Also, sometimes professors are just nice people who genuinely want to help you out and will understand (turns out one of my professors had fibromyalgia too and we bonded hardcore over it).  And even if there aren’t accommodations that can be given, chances are you’ll find a professor who will sympathize with you and give you a hug and a safe space to cry it out when you need it.
TAKE THE NAP There, I have given you written permission to take that depression nap.  Staring at the book and not taking in any of it is not helping you but you know what might? Napping.  If you are tired you aren’t going to learn so let yourself take a healthy break of a nice nap and come try again.  There’s no point in stressing yourself out more.
Thank you for joining me on this caffeine fueled rant brought to you by the scary religious persons of my youth.

Unpopular Facts:
You cannot learn how to be an empath.
There is a physiological difference in the brain that can be scanned to show if you are an empath or not.
You can have a highly developed intuition when it comes to people. That can be learned.
If you do not have that special group of cells as part of the mirror neuron system around the node that controls compassion in the brain you are not an empath.
In contrast narcissists psychopaths and sociopaths are lacking in this particular part of the brain. In other words it is impossible to be both an empath and a narcissist psychopath or sociopath at the exact same time.
Many narcissists and Psychopaths do have a highly developed intuition are able to read and manipulate people quite easily. And they are much much more common than actual empaths.
Because of the differences in particular area of the brain some in empaths may even have a form of synesthesia called Mirror touch synesthesia where they're literally able to physically feel what another person is feeling after coming into physical contact with them.
Empaths also have a stronger electromagnetic field this may surprise some people but your brain and nerves produce electricity and that's how messages are sent across your body empaths have a scientifically proven stronger electromagnetic field then most to the point where they may find that electronics that come into close contact with their skin on a regular basis such as a watch may die more quickly than it would on a normal person or just sitting on a desk. This allows them to hack the emotion signals of those around them. This is a passive ability not an active one they have no control of it.
This particular facet of being an empath. This strong emf is what can lend itself to aiding in sprit work. It's why everyone wants to be an empath.
Many people believe that spirits give off an emf of their own and by being an empath it can make spirit work easier.
Many people will tell you they can teach you to be an empath. They are lying!
It is a physical and mental difference in the body that comes with many negative side effects and at great cost.
Empaths are more likely to commit suicide than the general population with out proper support.
Many suffer acute anxiety because from a young age they physically react to the emotional state of thoes around them with out knowing why when they themselves dont feel that emotion in that moment.
If those around them are not mentally healthy it can severely impact their own mental health.
Grounding is essential from a young age it dosent matter the belief system that they follow.
Meditation is an empaths best friend when it comes to centering them selves.
Extroverted empath are more likely to commit suicide then an introverted impaths because the way they process dopamine is different.
Introverted empaths are more sensitive the dopamine it can get by with less and tend prefer being alone or one on one as it causes them less stress anxiety by not having to process so many different signals at one time.
extroverted empaths tend to Crave dopamine and love being in large crowds depending on the mental state of that crowd it can be a major toll on the mental state of the empath. as there are several pseudo empathic states that can affect crowd judgment when a large number of people Gather in one place creating a feedback effect that isn't always good.
Everything minus the Spirit connect in conjunction with higher EMF. Is backed by multiple scientific studies.
Inclusion you don't get to learn how to be an empath it's not gatekeeping it's nothing else except for the fact that it is literally a physical difference in the body that causes a mental difference.
Anyone who tries to claim otherwise is more than likely either ignorant or trying to scam you.
Most true empaths absolutely hate it and would give almost anything to not be it.
I seen several posts calling out fake empaths but I think it's my past time we try to clear up some of the inaccuracies and state what it actually is because not everybody understands it it's not some Supernatural ability although theoretically it may help with some of that when it comes to Spirit work.

101 WITH NOOTROPICS
88% of Fortune 500 companies C-Suit executives are using nootropics reportedly daily as a dietary supplement. Nootropics are No. 1 highly consumed ingredients on wall streets, top corporate employees, and Ivy League college-goers in the USA. However, only 0.04% of people know about nootropics in India.
USA & Europe are at the forefront of the nootropics market with relatively growing popularity in India, China, and South Korea.
So, what are nootropics? And why are they so important?
Nootropics are a class of dietary supplements that are clinically studied and have proven to improve executive cognitive capabilities including focus, memory, mental speed, reaction time, mental clarity, and energy. Nootropics also support in reducing stress, procrastination, and promotes calmness. Which then helps in improve productivity, confidence, and motivation.
Nootropics provide an unparalleled edge over the competition at work, in studies, in the gyms, and in social places.
Nootropics work primarily by three factors:
1. Production of Alpha Brain Waves
2. Optimal Level of Acetylcholine in Brain
3. Optimal Nervous System Communication
Step 1: The active nootropics work by increasing blood flow to the brain. This increases brain cell metabolism, making the cells more efficient at making new connections.
Step 2: The active nootropics also modulate acetylcholine receptors in the brain, making them more receptive to the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, allowing for faster, more efficient communication between neurons.
Step 3: Along with some mindful meditation the active nootropics, results in a synergetic effect in activating the prefrontal cortex of the brain which is responsible for a higher level of performances, creative thinking, logical reasoning, and so on.
All of these mechanisms synergize to make the brain healthier and help it operate at peak efficiency.

12 Stats About HyperFund Global Blog to Make You Look Smart Around the Water Cooler
Despite the popular conviction that blockchain innovation is just developed to perform cryptocurrency deals and make bitcoins, blockchain continues its entry into many areas of life: social networks, video gaming, healthcare, genuine estate, and others. The technology intends to enhance work effectiveness, cut costs for organizations, and improve client experience.
Blockchain can be described as a digitalized database and it comes from digital journal innovation (DLT), which suggests no main data shop or administrative performance. Why is it a benefit for an enterprise? Decentralization together with transparency permits every single participant to see all recorded information, guarantee its security, and track important information.
Tumblr media
Here are areas blockchain has actually already gotten in and has actually shown that this technology deserves depending on.
Supply chain management, for instance, is a significant yet susceptible part of the workflow of many business. Parties participating in the procedure often do not connect with each other directly and still apply paper-based techniques of info collection and storage. Blockchain offers total removal of paperwork: documents flow ends up being automatic, digital accreditation is used also. More notably, each licensed member of the supply chain can track the product from the producer to the consumer and avoid counterfeit distribution.
Several American retail giants that experienced foodborne illness outbreaks and more food recalls have executed blockchain innovation in their food supply chains. Before, tracking one product took around 7 days minimum, and these days a food item's provenance can be determined for a couple of seconds.
Thus, blockchain solutions made the procedure of recall quicker, more effective, and cost-saving. On the other hand, consumers have also skilled blockchain adoption in their hypermarkets. In Walmart's Chinese stores, for instance, they can scan the QR code and get all the details about the product: from the farm location to the assessment certificates.
Tumblr media
Healthcare is the field where blockchain-based options have actually established themselves as a transparent and extremely secure method of keeping electronic health records (EHR). When essential, both patients and medical professionals receive authorization to access the records and use them. At the same time, blockchain services are powered by smart contracts that allow EHR data personal privacy security. Healthcare gadget information and scientific research study are encrypted, insurance can be executed and stored, too. Another usage case is prescription medicines and devices supply chain control.
E-commerce progressively needs blockchain technology. Once again, the supply chain is a crucial aspect here: keeping track of products and managing supplies are frequently difficult jobs however blockchain assists businesses manage their stock more efficiently. Customers who trust their cash and data to e-commerce companies are worried about information security and openness however this concern can be resolved with blockchain advancement. Even minor changes in transactions are obvious on a blockchain, and track who made a mistake is not a problem any longer. It is likewise possible to perform crypto payments.
The next location is really associated with cryptocurrency transactions. Defi, short for decentralized finance, doesn't only consist of simple properties transfer, but likewise refers to more complex financial use cases. The execution of blockchain adds to intermediary exclusion and, subsequently, minimizes expenses. All transactions are encrypted and immutable, multi-step authentication mechanisms make the system difficult to access for unapproved members. Among recent novelties is the opportunity to rely on P2P loaning services and digital banking.
Social media has the prospective to be affected by blockchain. Together with its global appeal and the capability to connect individuals around the globe, social media is still susceptible to account hacking, identity leak, and copyright infringement. To take on those problems, blockchain provides author rights protection, digital identity confirmation, and unbiased licensing.
Tumblr media
Another positive aspect is that blockchain specialists keep in the loop about the newest trends and opportunities, therefore they'll dedicate themselves to present the finest blockchain service possible.
The primary benefit of working with blockchain consulting firms is that you can be a hundred percent sure that a group of out-and-out professionals will comply with you and ensure that you get complete protection about the blockchain implementation in your business. In spite of the popular conviction more info that blockchain technology is just created to perform cryptocurrency transactions and earn bitcoins, blockchain continues its entry into lots of areas of life: social media, video gaming, health care, real estate, and others. Consumers who trust their money and data to e-commerce organizations are concerned about data security and transparency however this issue can be addressed with blockchain development. Social media has the prospective to be impacted by blockchain.

How Alpilean Can Help You Lose Weight?
Alpilean uses a combination of effective weight-loss ingredients that have been used in calculated proportions to provide your body with multiple health benefits based on the latest in scientific literature surrounding the idea of two central themes; core body temperature and brown fat.
The Alpilean alpine ice hack formula is about targeting one of the most common obesity factors in how body temperature (particularly of the cells) affect metabolism, especially as we age.
The Alpilean weight loss ingredients don’t just help you with belly fat weight reduction; they improve every factor of your body so that your overall health remains intact by supporting whole-body metabolic function and boosting the rate at how well you burn calories each day.

The Science of Reduction
In my view, John’s blog and Sherlock’s website both represent a more realistic version of what might actually have happened in the BBC Sherlock narrative; a believable kind of ‘reality’ that doesn’t need extraordinary explanations or complicated assumptions to make sense. As opposed to the big Drama we see in the actual show, these online versions - slightly childish as they may be - tell a kind of story that appears to be at least plausible. But maybe they’re also a bit more limited and therefore boring?
It goes to show, I think, that “Poetry or Truth”, which Lestrade claims are the same thing in TAB, indeed are very different concepts. As an enhanced version of reality, enriched by human creativity and emotion, Poetry can give far more interesting results than any attempt at approaching Truth ‘scientifically’. But it can also derail into absurdity, as shown by S4.
Sherlock’s website is, in a sense, ‘scientific’; very logically constructed and categorized, brief and minimalistic. No superfluous information to be found, no dramatic embroidery of the facts. Occam’s razor.
Tumblr media
On the surface, the only hints of emotion being involved are Sherlock’s whining about people being stupid, predictable and boring, showing us how lonely that makes him feel. The contrast to how he comes across in the show, and its display of his ‘inner life’, is striking. But now the website has - unlike John’s blog - been taken down, which I suspect might reflect the fact that Sherlock has left ‘reality’ and chosen to go deeper into himself.
But after realising from this post that The Science of Deduction is actually still there, saved on the Way Back Machine (thanks for that, @khanhizon1999!), I took to look a little further into it, and noticed several interesting things:
1. Sherlock seems to be a very lazy ‘blogger’, who has reduced the info on his own website to a minimum, since he has only written down one single case for his readers to look at: The Green Ladder. Not even his analyses of tobacco (referred to in ASiB, dismissed by John) or perfume (referred to in THoB, when he encourages Mrs Hudson to look it up) are actually posted. For the rest of the ‘new’ cases - The Blind Banker and ‘The Serial Suicides’ (A Study in Pink) - he simply refers to John’s blog. And for The Aluminium Crutch and The Great Game he doesn’t even bother to do that.
TBC under the cut.
2. So, what was so special about The Green Ladder for Sherlock to both do the effort of writing it down, and then not erase it like he did with the tobacco analysis? I mean, since this case is about a guy who actually gets killed for being both superstitious and predictable (a bit like Lord Carmichael’s idiocy in TAB, perhaps), what could possibly raise Sherlock’s interest about it to the point of discussing details on his website? I bet it’s out of nostalgic Sentiment. ;) It definitely seems like this was the case Sherlock was working on when he first met John. Which we can deduce by the text message he left on John’s phone:
Tumblr media
I’ll also speculate that he deleted the tobacco study because John didn’t like it, while he kept this one because it just might impress John.
3. It also strikes me, however, that nowhere on this website can we read about how Sherlock can identify “a software designer by his tie” or "a retired plumber by his left hand” (PILOT) or “an airline pilot by his left thumb” (ASiP). Did Sherlock delete that as well, just because John seemed incredulous? :) Or were these claims parts of the now archived cases, for example ‘The Laughing Pilot’?
4. The names of the cases. I used to believe that all the fanciful titles of John’s blog posts were due to his own creativity. But here we have a whole bunch of inspiring case names created by Sherlock himself:
Tumblr media
Some of these titles definitely seem to be little nods to canon:
The Man With Four Legs - The Man With the Twisted Lip (TWIS)
The Crooked House - The Crooked Man (CROO)
The Missing Jars - The Missing Three-Quarter (MISS)
The Abernetty Family - The Abbey Grange (ABBE)
The Purple Woman - The Red Circle (CIRC)
The Confusion of Isadora Persano is reduced to a mere title, but it’s actually taken directly from canon’s The Problem of Thor Bridge (THOR), where Watson tells us: “A third case worthy of note is that of Isadora Persano, the wellknown journalist and duellist, who was found stark staring mad with a matchbox in front of him which contained a remarkable worm, said to be unknown to science.”
Which immediately makes me think of John’s blog post The Inexplicable Matchbox: “The situation with Isaac Persano hit the headlines, obviously. He was found, in a hotel room, surrounded by matchboxes. And he couldn't speak”. A case which Sherlock included in his Best Man speech in TSoT: “A French decathlete found completely out of his mind, surrounded by one thousand, eight hundred and twelve matchboxes – all empty except this one”.
Tumblr media
We never got to know what this matchbox contained, though. In the show, there’s only one worm I can think of (and no - I don’t count the maggots Sherlock shows Archie in TSoT, or the ones crawling out of Emelia Ricoletti’s dead body in TAB; they’re larvae, not worms, and they’re not new to science :) ). The one I’m thinking of is the ‘earworm’ of Eurus’ suggestions that drives Doctor Taylor mad enough to kill his family, according to the Governor of Sherrinford in TFP. I don’t know if such a thing is ‘unknown to science’, but it’s certainly quite unlikely, isn’t it?
But what about the rest of the cases? What’s with, for example, the Subdivided Crooner? :))) It’s also interesting to know that there’s a ghost at Barts’ hospital. Is that supposed to be a premonition about Sherlock? :)
5. There’s also a (supposedly) ongoing case called The Major's Cat. How many majors do we meet in the show? Well, there’s Major Barrymore in THoB, Major Reed in TSoT and Major Sholto, also in TSoT. But none of them comes across as a cat lover, though, do they? :) And this case happens before we get to know either of these majors. An interesting piece in this puzzle is a client, a poster called T Thompson who wants help with a missing cat.
Tumblr media
OK, so this is the major - a famous boxer named T. ‘The Major’ Thompson! Clearly something more than a missing cat is going on in this case. Sherlock deduces brilliantly that his client is secretive because he wants to avoid a scandal; thus, he’s probably famous. Cats are also linked to Greenwich in the title The Killer Cats of Greenwich, which in turn makes me think of “the bloody Greenwich pips” in TGG - the episode in which the naked cat Sekhmet figures. Lots of cats here. ;)
Eventually, Sherlock posts a new comment  - possibly having to do with the case of the Major’s missing cat:
“Ha! Brilliant! Oh, very very clever! I love it when a criminal knows what he's doing. The cat was in the television! Fake screen. Brilliant.” I’d love to know what this case was actually about (apart from cat abuse) - it’s not often we see Sherlock expressing that kind of emotion :) But, anyway: more cats?! I can’t find a single dog on Sherlock’s website, which surprises me, since the show is full of them, and there’s also a few on John’s blog.
It’s also interesting to see Mike Stanford tell Sherlock about John’s blog, shortly after he’s moved in to 221B. Pretty soon Sherlock also starts to get anonymous threats on his website, combined with some ciphers, which Sherlock uses to entertain his readers.
6. The three encrypted messages sent to Sherlock’s website by an anonymous reader - *cough* Moriarty *cough* - bring rather scarce information. I’ve tried to apply all three of the ciphers to seemingly meaningless words like “UMQRA” or “AGRA”, but of no result this far. Just like Sherlock’s declarations of the case solutions to Moriarty in TGG about Carl Powers, Ian Monkford and Raoul de Santos, I think these ciphers are the least interesting items on the website. But I might be proven very wrong of course! :)
7. Then, finally, we have the Forum, where the most substantial message is from little Kirsty Stapleton who lost her glowing rabbit to science (fully investigated in THoB). One thing that strikes me is that Kirsty asks about John “Is he a real Dr?”. Which very much reminds me of TLD, where Culverton asks John: “Are you really a doctor?”
Tumblr media
Also the rest of the Forum’s old comments do have some interest, even if they’re usually reduced to exchanges of a few words between Sherlock and the people who knows him: John, Lestrade, Molly, Mike Stanford, Sarah Sawyer, the fan Jacob Sowersby and long-term poster Moriarty ‘theimprobableone’. First of all we learn that Sherlock moved out from Montague street due to “disagreement with landlord”. Very strange indeed, seeing as Sherlock must be such a lovely tenant. ;))
We also learn that Moriarty ‘theimprobableone’ is flirting with Sherlock via his website from start; he tries to ask him out and even offers Sherlock to move in with him! In this context maybe we should remember that the last time we heard from Moriarty ‘theimprobableone’ was after John’s wedding, when Sherlock had hacked into his blog and tried to find some company online. The answer was: “i am interested but I am going out on a date”.
And - back to Sherlock’s website - there’s also Molly, trying to get Sherlock’s attention by claiming she found a tie at Barts that might be his. We also see Lestrade getting desperate over the serial ‘suicides’ and wanting Sherlock’s help, which the latter deflects. Hard to see how Sherlock is ‘married to his job’ here. :)
Sherlock’s reaction to the ‘Bond night’ is also quite entertaining:
Tumblr media
He calls Bond ‘ridiculous’ until ‘theimprobableone’ butts in, then he suddenly begins to appreciate it more. ;)
And we do get a possible explanation as to why Sherlock takes on the dubious Belarus case of Barry Berwick: John needs the money! :)
Tumblr media
Finally, I think an interesting little detail is that, once again, an ambassador is mentioned in BBC Sherlock - a recurring theme! ;)
Tagging some people who might be interested:

Passage found and decrypted by a TSS member who wishes to remain anonymous.
Original post date unknown.
Aston Wise current status confidential.
There’s a loud thud as the door ricochets off the wall after being forcefully shoved open, but the woman inside doesn’t flinch and instead quietly looks up with one brow arched. An amused smile makes its way to her face, as if she’s more than used to such antics from him.
“Lara, this is it! The breakthrough I’ve been waiting for! If this works, it will change the world for the better! We’ll be able to better understand human consciousness and remove human bias from scientific studies. Just imagine the progress we could make when we’re not blinded by our preexisting beliefs! Picture this: a small lace that connect to the brain. It can interpret--”
The image slips away as another takes its place. The same two people, this time walking through a corridor, are deep in conversation.
“And remember that if any urgent information comes up, the band is the best way to get the message out fast and-”
“Yes Aston, I know. Yes, I’m also know of the database. I know who to go to if there’s another hacking. You’ve explained everything several times over already,” she responds with an eye roll but no real malice.
He has the decency to look sheepish. “I just want to make sure everything’s prepared for when I’m gone. But who am I kidding? I’m leaving The Starset Society in the most capable hands there are.” He grabs her hands and playfully spins her around before pulling her in closer.
With a cheeky grin he starts to speak again. “Ok, and if-” he breaks off laughing as she pushes him away and starts back down the corridor.
It’s hard to know how much time has past. Has he been holed away in his lab for hours or days? Weeks maybe? It doesn’t matter. With all the progress he’s been making, he can hardly remember basic things like sleep or food, much less the passage of time. How long has he been awake this time? Has he ever slept? His work and ideas fully consume him as he sinks further into himself. The more he works on it, the more ideas for improvements make themselves known. He’s so lost inside his thoughts that he doesn’t hear the knock, or the sound of the door being pushed open. It’s not until someone grabs his shoulder that he realizes he’s not the only one in the lab. Startled, he spins around only to come face to face with Lara.
“Lara, what is it? Is something wrong? Why are you down here?” His face scrunches up with concern.
“Funny, I came to ask you the same thing.”
“What do you mean?”
“Aston, I’ve seen you three times in the past two months and only because you ran out of coffee in your lab. I’m worried. You need to take a break.” Upon hearing these words, his concern vanishes.
“A break? I don’t need a break! I’m so close! I just need a little more time. Just stay and keep the ship manned until I’m back. I need to be alone and see this through. I swear I’ll be there for Phase 3.”
“This isn’t healthy! You keep yourself locked down here constantly! No one even knows what you’re working on! Look, I’m not asking you to stop, just to step away for a few days and-”
The lack of proper sleep and nutrition had worn his nerves thin and the mere thought of leaving his work causes him to snap.
“You don’t get it! This is so much bigger than just me and you! You’re doing just fine running everything and you knew that this project would take time! I’m sorry, but I don’t have a place for you here. I need to focus on my work and you need to focus on finding the source of the hacking! So don’t worry about me; I’m more than capable of taking care of myself!” He starts pacing erratically and running his hands through his already disheveled hair. Lara says nothing as she makes her way out of the room, leaving Aston to pace and mutter unintelligibly to himself. Some time later, after he’s managed to calm himself enough to return to work, although not as diligently as before, he hears the door creak open. Heaving a sigh, he turns ready with words to remedy the damage from earlier, but it’s not Lara’s face that greets him.
“Who are you? You can’t be down here.”
“Hello Aston.”
“Do I know you?” The man approaches wordless. His face is the last thing Aston sees before everything turns black.
Aston slowly wakes alone and confused in a dim room. He doesn’t remember leaving his lab, much less the Society’s base. He moves to get up only to find himself strapped down to what appears to be some sort of hospital bed. A sharp pain shoots through his head as he does so, causing him to collapse in pain and let out a groan. As the pain slowly lessens he’s able to tell that whatever the cause was, it was centered around his left temple, but it still provides no information as to where he is or how he got there. What had he even been doing before he wound up here. He struggles to think back. He vaguely remembers a woman telling him off for something. Yet another ex perhaps? Fighting against the pain and the heaviness of his limbs, he struggles against the restraints, but it proves useless. Light floods his eyes as a door slides open and the lights flick on, causing the pounding in his head to turn to a rolling thunder. A thin, bespectacled man walked into the room and began to study the data on a nearby monitor.
“Ah, good to see you’re awake. Not that it’ll matter much longer. You should feel honored! After all, you’ve been selected to supplement The Architecture. Your lace has been successfully implanted and initial tests have proven successful.”
“Look, I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about or who the hell you are, but you better untie me and remove whatever lace it is you’re talking about or else you and I are gonna have problems.”
The door once again slides open and another man enters the room. He seems vaguely familiar but Aston can’t seem to place him. He can’t seem to remember much of anything.
“Aston, good to see you. I see you’ve finally woken up.”
“Yes, I’m delightful. Now you better tell me who you are, where I am, and what happened to me or else I’ll-“ He goes to pull away from the bed to no avail and pain shoots through his skull with the sudden movement causing him to collapse against the mattress.
The man shoots Aston a pointed look before beginning to speak. “My name is Dr. Gerhard Gregor. We’ve met in the past but that is of little consequence now. You are in New West Industries. Look around, you should recognize this technology, you are the architect of it after all.”
He takes another look around the room and as he begins to connect the dots, his eyes widened in horror. This isn’t what he had planned. A sinking feeling overwhelms him as he looks back at Gregor. He’s never going home. Gregor looks back at him passively and flips a switch. Reality starts to fade and before he slips away completely, he hears Gregor. “Welcome to The Architecture.”

Leverage Not!Fic - Accidental Baby Acquisition
Also on AO3 with a deeper explanation of where this came from: You’re So Precious to Me (Baby Mine) - Roughly 2500 words of baby and working through thoughts about children and childhoods. Heavily influenced by some internal turmoil I got going on about parenthood vs choosing not to have children.
I want to see Eliot - big, tough, punch his way out before he talks his way out Eliot - with a kid around 1 or 2.
Nate, of course, knows how handle a kid, but it’s painful, digs at wounds he’d rather not reopen, and while Sophie’s not the best with children, she can get by - they’re just not her forte at that age. They offer to come by and help out, fly in from wherever they are this week, but Eliot comes in and tells them that he’s got it.
Hardison has to Google everything about taking care of such a small child, Parker has no clue about children that small and is, frankly, very perturbed by the fact that a 1 year old is basically helpless.
So you have Eliot, who does have experience with kids and babies, and, more importantly, a strong protective and nurturing instinct. They’re pretty much stuck with the kid until the end of the con for one reason or another, and Eliot is officially appointed babysitter. Eliot, who understands that a child at this age has a pretty intense fear of strangers and works to soothe and distract and appear trustworthy. Eliot (thanks to his culinary and nutrition skills) knows what a kid actually eats and how to serve it, instead of the bulk barrel of Goldfish that Hardison was going to panic-buy off Amazon along with a massive delivery of milk, toys, furniture, and other baby-related items. He keeps the order for some of the furniture, clothes, and toys, and adds a metric ton of diapers just in case.
And eventually Hardison becomes Eliot’s assistant in their brief stint as caretakers - Parker is good for entertainment, but she really has no desire to be left responsible for the baby. If Hardison or Eliot is around, she’ll turn the place into an impromptu jungle gym, but the crippling fear of something happening to someone so vulnerable on her watch is too much for her to deal with (she remembers the bicycle, after all, and the last time she was any kind of mentor to a kid). She’s got a protective streak a mile wide too, though, especially with kids, so she’s the one who kid-proofs the apartment, to an almost ridiculous extent.
(”Parker, is this a pool noodle on the table leg?” Eliot pokes it - it does look like she’s butchered a pool noodle in the name of safety. There’s another one across the edge of the table, and on all the corners.
“Yeah, kid can barely walk, he could fall and crack his head on the table. I also stole a helmet. Do you think he needs a helmet?” Parker gestures at a backpack by the door, outside of the baby gate they’re using to block off the living room from the kitchen. Eliot can probably safely assume that’s where the stolen helmet is.
He looks back at Parker, who’s sitting in front of the bookshelf with books on the floor around her in stacks. He notices belatedly she’s got a drill in one hand, one of his. “Are you screwing that into the wall?”
Parker throws up her hands, glares at him like he’s said something horribly offensive. “What if it falls, Eliot?! He’s tiny! The hysterical strength response doesn’t happen in toddlers!”
There’s two packs of those outlet covers on the coffee table too, and Eliot decides then and there that the apartment has probably seen worse. He’ll let Parker do as she pleases.)
Hardison is also really good at entertainment, and can do high chairs and naptime and playing while Eliot’s out doing Eliot-things that only Eliot can do. He can put the kid to sleep, but he can’t transfer him, meaning that he’s pretty well stuck under him in a rocking chair for an hour and a half to two hours. He gripes about it, but he doesn’t mind, not really - he likes the feeling of something small and practically helpless trusting him enough to use him as a pillow, relaxes in the calm of the gentle scientifically-proven-to-be-relaxing lullabies playing through the speaker, remembers doing this with a couple of the other kids that Nana fostered for a short time. He usually ends up falling into a light sleep, too. He knows how to be a caretaker in theory, and could easily work up the ability to be a parent - he studied early childhood development, after all - and now that the initial panic of surprise baby acquisition is over, he can handle this.
Parker, quiet as ever, doesn’t know how to feel about Hardison holding a baby, gentle and sweet - she doesn’t want kids, but she wants Hardison to have everything he wants out of life, and she worries that maybe being with her is denying him something.
They talk about it, later, of course. Hardison easily figures out that something’s bugging her, and she comes clean about her insecurities and how she knows that she’s not the type of person that can raise a child and have that child come out healthy, whole, and normal.
(“I don’t even think I want to try.”
Hardison turns in his chair. She loves that about him, the way that he gives her his full attention every chance he gets, even when he’s in the middle of a game. “That’s okay. I’m not gonna ask you to.”
“Do you want kids?” Parker asks, and listens with one ear to the distant, almost-unintelligible sounds of Eliot singing Journey and walking across the floor of the guest bedroom that’s serving as a nursery.
Hardison blows out a soft sigh - it’s not his annoyed one, she’s learned, it’s his thinking sigh. “I don’t… know. Maybe? I don’t know. We don’t exactly lead a stable kind of life.” He gestures at his computer, presumably to encompass all of his illegal activities.
Parker’s quiet for a moment. “I’m not a mom, Hardison. I never even had a mom. I could be an aunt, maybe? What do aunts do? Archie worked for me, but not every kid needs an Archie.”
“Parker,” Hardison says, in that gentle and loving tone, “Being a parent is all about loving them and doing your best. There are books and stuff out there. If you ever decide you want to, and if you don’t want to, that’s okay, too. Hell, someday we might adopt baby grifters just like Nate and Sophie did.” He reaches, grabs her hand where it rests on the desk. “You’re… you and Eliot are enough for me, okay? So, if you ever decide that having a kid is something you want, then I’ll be here. He’ll be here. And if you never want a kid, then I’ll still be here, and he will too.”
Parker can breathe a little easier after that, but it makes her think.)
Hardison knows she could do it if she wanted to - thinks about how much she wants to do the right thing, about Serbian orphans, about a kid stealing cars to survive, making sure kids didn’t get their Christmas ruined by arrests. He knows that Parker can do anything she wants to, learns new skills and concepts with an intense, single-minded focus. Any child she chose to have would be the best-protected kid in the world.
Growing up with the three of them would probably end up in a strangely competent and paranoid kid, but ultimately a pretty well-adjusted one. He wonders briefly about what a baby of theirs would look like, if it would be a little girl wreaking havoc at a computer or a little boy climbing through vents. Maybe more straight-and-legal with tech summer camps and ballet or gymnastics.
He thinks about it, lets himself want it for a moment while he gently rocks a sleeping baby that isn’t theirs, one that they’re protecting just long enough to get home. Hardison adds it to the “maybe someday” list, the “pretzel” list, where it’s there if Parker wants it, and only if Parker wants it.
But it’s Eliot who is good at walking the kid to sleep and actually getting him into a crib/bed, Eliot singing classic rock and country songs as lullabies, Eliot who patiently sits through overtired tantrums, Eliot who can understand and respond to the baby babble interspersed with random words. After a few days, Eliot is the one that the baby cries and reaches for. He’s the one getting up with him at four in the morning, long past his not-safe-enough-to-sleep days where he only slept 90 minutes a night. Now he tries valiantly to listen to the baby play on the floor (completely safely thanks to Parker’s intense baby-proofing) while laying on the couch with his eyes closed.
And so it goes, for about a week and a half, maybe two. They manage to run the con and balance pseudo-parenting - Hardison does most of his work from the van, after all, and he’s not above handing the kid an iPad with a YouTube playlist of Mother Goose Club in the name of keeping his family safe (Eliot, even in the middle of fighting off hired guns, bitches mightily about screen time and child development). At one point, Parker spends a terrifying (to her) hour alone with a baby that is fast asleep, while Hardison does some intense hacking and Eliot does some good old-fashioned B&E to send a message.
The day comes that the con works. The mother is freed and can return to her life, now that she’s not being hunted or threatened. Eliot, Parker, and Hardison have to say goodbye to this tiny human that they’ve grown super attached to. No one cries - not even the baby. It’s part of the job, never mind that they have an apartment full of baby stuff now and a year’s worth of diapers they don’t need. They hug the baby, they hug the mom. Eliot holds on a little tighter and longer than Hardison, and Parker holds the baby just for a moment, just long enough, before passing him back.
And then they walk away - job is done, after all.
Hardison’s gonna miss the kid, but in that way where he got attached but he can let go easily enough. It wasn’t his kid, it was never his kid, and he made himself remember that so he didn’t get too attached.
Parker is quiet. The baby had reached for her, just once, and she’d given him the hug he wanted. She doesn’t know how to feel about any of this, so she makes the choice to stuff it in a box in her mind, where she can open it slowly and pick things out one-by-one.
Eliot, though, Eliot doesn’t look like he’s processing it well, which is actually pretty expected - Hardison knows a lot about psychology and even more about Eliot, after all, and Eliot in another life was a family man, Eliot in another life was a strict but fun dad, Eliot in another life made PB&J sandwiches and played soccer in the mud in the backyard.
Eliot in this life, though, isn’t the marrying kind - he’s made a promise, after all, “‘til my dying day,” and that’s probably as close to commitment as Eliot Spencer will ever get. He’s chosen his path, walked it since he was 18 and signing up for the army, has spent close to fifteen years choosing it again and again. This is where he stands his ground, with Parker and Hardison, and there’s no room for some suburban house with a white picket fence and 2.5 kids. He’d wanted that back in another life, with Aimee, thought about it again with Kaye Lynn in their passing moment together. It was never even on the table with Mikel. He can’t drag some poor woman into his life, into what he’s done - he can’t have a relationship with a “civilian,” not without unintentionally grifting. He doesn’t want to build something on lies, doesn’t want to bring a kid into the world and expose it to the ghosts that haunt him from the past.
Besides, he doesn’t think he could even begin to fall in love with, let alone trust, someone that isn’t Parker and Hardison. In another life, where he’d never met them, maybe he could have had that. But here he is, for better or for worse, ‘til his dying day, just as good as any official wedding vow he’s ever heard.
(“It’s not something we can do,” Hardison says later, in the quiet of a closed bar. Parker is somewhere, dangling off of roofs and recovering from the overwhelming sensation of emotions. “It just isn’t. We can’t… you’re wanted in like five countries-”
“Seven,” Eliot corrects automatically. “Well, maybe eight.”
“Parker’s wanted in nine, and I’m just… wanted. In a lot of places.” Hardison taps the table. “It wouldn’t be… we’d be giving a kid a life of crime from the very beginning. And if certain people found out, the kid would be in danger literally all the time.”
Eliot nods and doesn’t say anything. “You and I know that, but…”
A beat. They think of Parker and Serbian orphans, Parker and Christmas, Parker and a look of astonishment and joy for a split second as a baby reaches for her to say goodbye.
“If she decides it’s something she wants,” Eliot says slowly, softly. “And only if she decides it’s something she wants, we’ll make it work.”
“I got lots of identities,” Hardison agrees. “We could go straight if we wanted to.”
Eliot takes a drink of his beer. “We’ll donate what we’ve got upstairs,” he says - the furniture, the diapers, the sippy cups, the toys, all of it can be used by another kid. “And if she brings it up, we’ll deal with it then.”
“Pretzels,” Hardison agrees.)
Somewhere on a rooftop in Portland, in the gray and the misting rain of the Pacific Northwest, Parker dangles her feet over the edge and allows herself to think. She thinks of foster homes and stuffed bunnies, of bicycles and Haagen Dazs. She wonders how many other kids there are out there like her, picking pockets and surviving day-by-day, waiting for an Archie if they’re lucky. She remembers wanting a “real family” at one point, remembers the bone-deep longing of it back when she was young and alone, back when she was stealing cars, back when she wasn’t rich and wasn’t a master thief and wasn’t one of the good guys.
There’s potential, there, she thinks, in the same analytical way that she processes cons and jobs and plans. She’d have to shift her plans, that’s for sure. It’s all hypothetical anyway - it can sit with her awhile, and she can figure out if she’d like this particular bowl of pretzels or not in as much as time as she wants to take.
Potential, though. Daydreams. What has been, what could have been, and what still might be.
