DO NOT HOUND THE ACTORS FOR INFO ABOUT SEASON 2
This SAG strike is a no promotion strike, meaning that if any actor who is a part of the guild promotes a show or movie in any way, they will be kicked out of the union.
This also goes for the writer's strike. The writers being on strike means that the editing for the show has most likely come to a complete stop. Any edit or change to the show requires approval from the writers, and if they give any feedback during the strike, they can be kicked out of the union.
This is why we haven't heard any news about Season 2. The editors and effects people literally CAN'T do their job during the strike.
IT'S TIME TO STOP COMPLAINING AND START SUPPORTING THE WRITERS AND ACTORS AND EDITORS WHOSE LIVLIHOODS ARE AT STAKE!

Ok, but imagine if Odysseus told Zeus to kill him instead of the crew
Imagine they look on in horror as he smiles one last time and says, “tell Penelope I said goodbye” before his body is filled with so much electricity that his skin burns in an instant, lets out the most gut-wrenching scream they’ve ever heard even after 10 years of war, and collapses onto the ships floor.
Imagine they get back to Ithaca, without their captain, surrounded by the citizens of a king who doesn’t exist anymore.
Imagine Ctimene embracing Eurylochus with all her energy, then looking to find her brother.
Imagine Penelope, weary with sleepless nights, running to them, crying to see her husband again, 13 year old Telemachus following behind her, clinging to her skirts.
Imagine the crew turning to avoid her gaze, only Eurylochus being able to face her with the words: “he said he loved you until his dying breath.”
Imagine Penelope collapsing and screaming like Odysseus did, like she’d been struck down by Zeus as he had. Ctimene and Telemachus trying to comfort her. Ctimene crying herself.
Just imagine it.

Theory on how Odysseus defeated Poseidon
So! The Vengeance Saga is a banger. The only thing that bothered me about this Saga is how easy Poseidon was defeated. And I know I'm not the only one who lost a bit of their suspension of disbelief in this moment. That's one of the big gods! They're fighting above his domain, inside his storm!
It's not like Diomedes fighting Aphrodite and Ares (especially considering that he had Athena's help with the later). Still, we know Heracles wounded both Hera and Hades before, so that's a precedent!
However, the jet pack six hundred strike kept bothering me, even as i rationalized it. Some people say maybe Ares helped him out, as a favor to Athena, using Dark Quick-Thought on him (I didn't hear his sound on the music, though, so I don't favor this theory). Others say Hermes slipped him a bit of moly (Jorge would have shown us if he had done that). Here's another theory for you all.
The prophet's profecy said:
I see you on the brink of death I see you draw your final breath I see a man who gets to make it home alive But it's no longer you
This is, of course, a metaphorical death. In the beginning, I thought this last breath referred to the moment he drowns in the Thunder Saga, but now I'm firmly convinced that it's that moment Poseidon hits him with his god move. Why? Because we see the spirits of his men.
In "Love in Paradise", we see Odysseus hearing the voices of the people he lost for the first time (outside the underworld, that is). I believe that in this moment it's a sign of his grief, and that he is essentially hallucinating, mainly because we never see any of his men. I believe differently for the moment in "Get in the Water".
I believe that in "Get in the Water", he is very close to dying. And this closeness to death allows the people he loved to reach him. We actually see the people he lost, them reaching out to him. His mother, Polites and Eurylochus, it's their songs. But the soldiers? They're Waiting. For what? His death? No, I believe it's for vengeance. And right after that, we see his eyes begin to glow red, the sign of his monstrosity.
In Six Hundred Strike, there is the voice of the crew singing "Six Hundred". Odysseus can't create his own choir. Poseidon wouldn't call up the voices of Ody's crew to emphasize his defeat. So where are their voices coming from?
TL;DR: The Six Hundred Strike is only possible because Ody is carrying (literally) the strength, and grief, and desire for vengeance of his 600 men.
Does this theory make me fully satisfied? No. But it's my headcanon.

Ahh I remember about the time Misha had hip surgery. He said that a week after his surgery (?) the showrunner told him to run a scene, and they couldn't cancel because they didn't have a backup plan for him. And he was in so much pain that he couldn't breathe. And that's not just one of the times he was mistreated while filming (The time he got food poisoning and had to vomit into a bucket while filming during the Leviathan arc). So it's no surprise that he looked a lot weaker as the show came to an end.
Wow, I didnt know about that. Making him run after literally A WEEK after a hip surgery???? That's just effed up. no other words for it.
Misha has talked about leviathan scene so I remember that and even then they wouldn't stop until Jensen stood up and was like 'this is not happening'!
Like couldn't the director see he was in no shape to give a performance?
Another thing I just realized was when Misha told the production that his son would be born on 25th sept, so he even asked to not be written heavily in the episode (like he didn't even ask for them to cater the schedule acc to him he seriously asked them to not write him in the episode, which he shouldn't have had to do) SIX months in advance and they still didn't listen. He was adamant not to miss his son's birth so he left and they literally called him 2 hours later to ask 'if the baby had been born yet'? Like dudes, that's no way to treat the actor playing one your most popular main characters.

In a weird way, it’s kind of exciting? It feels like tomorrow is the first day of school. We’re supposed to get our picket line assignments in the morning — obviously will immediately be followed by texting everyone I know to see where they’ll be. I’m kind of looking forward to my first shift, going and finding out who all are going to be my co-workers, so to speak, for the foreseeable future. Will they be nice? Tomorrow am I going to meet someone for the first time who is going to turn out to be a lifelong friend? Anyway, Union strong!

Okie so I actually want to hear everyone’s thoughts on the Vengeance Saga, cause I have some mixed thoughts.
On one hand, IT WAS SO GOOD FROM A VOCALS PERSPECTIVE AND THE SONGS BEING BOPS. I was impressed by everyone’s performances (seriously I know in every saga everyone sounds awesome but this saga is just so visceral and surreal?!) Odysseus (Jorge the king himself) especially was so good in this musical?! His desperation and anger?? THE SCENE WHERE HE NEARLY DROWNS??? AAAAAAAAAAA
On the OTHER hand, I can’t be the only one that found the saga a little… corny? Not even the saga honestly just 600 strike. Idk I just couldn’t take 600 Strike seriously and I don’t think a song with that kind of narrative weight should have that effect. I recognize the musical is inspired by video games and anime, and that’s fine. But I feel there is a difference between being inspired by different works of anime versus using overused cliches and stereotypes from anime as a genre. (and maybe I’m taking it a little too literally but how the hell did Ody actually manage to torture Poseidon, like did the souls of his crew give him the power to stand to a god?)
Idk these are just initial thoughts I’d love to hear everyone’s takes bc I honestly don’t have a concrete judgement on 600 strike.
